I just started reading today and I'm absolutely hooked! Thank you for creating it! I have a question that may be answered later or maybe I misunderstood the comic so far. Is Slate a different Link to BOTW Link? Or does he consider himself separate to pre-healing chamber Link? I was a bit confused about that!

hey, thanks for reading! to clarify this: Slate considers himself a different person to pre-calamity Link, who I’ll call Champion. Slate is the one who woke up in the shrine and goes through the events of BOTW. He is, for the most part, a new entity running around in Champion’s body. Not that he knew that when he woke up lol, he gets told his name is Link and that he’s forgotten everything and for a good while he’s like alright. guess I’m Link. By the time we meet him in Bonus Links, he’s figured out that he’s not exactly the person everyone was hoping would wake up. But the name has already stuck.

This is a story choice I made for the comic and not like, necessarily what I think the game actually intends lol.
