Ok it's 12 am for me pretty pretty please let me chime in here this whole post is yes and awesome and "he is a machine" will echo in my head for the next week and if I may add my slight addition- my personal interpretation, one obviously slathered in my own bias and personal view of this text that means a lot to me is that- underlying his ambition, his familiarity within violence this society he exists in and only knows how to exist in as a perpetuator of violence- is just, an attempt at being anything. I know he is our central character but it feels compelling to me how differently Macbeth talks than his peers from scene ONE and it's not that his peers are stupid or that he's like a misunderstood woe-is-me genius because I think that is NOT what the text is getting at but rather, hm, rather Macbeth strikes me as someone who doesn't know how to be. Like how to be a human. His relationship dynamic is unconventional to the time period he is insecure about masculinity he seems to stumble about trying to find out what it is and then when he decides he found it tries to fit everything he does into that box. ( Specifically referencing "are you a man" talk smash cutting to his weird speech to Banquos murders about how there are a bunch of types of men and they gotta be MURDER MEN because uhm uhhh ) the way he talks differently from his peers?? Like on a very textual level don't even let me get into how two central figures in the play use alliteration HIM and the WITCHES, the witches are obvious they're alliterating in half of their speeches but Macbeth does too and it's ONLY HIM. ( Two truths are told + the swift the slow the subtle ) HE KINDA TALKS LIKE THE WITCHES IN MANY SUBTLE WAYS. ACTUALLY. DON'T GET ME STARTEDDD ( I am started ) on act one scene one witches going "fair is foul and foul is fair" only for Macbeth to say "so foul and fair a day I have not scene" AS HIS FIRST FUCKING LINE. GOD. DO YOU GET IT. Macbeth is different he's separate something deep within him is of the unnatural of the wicked and I think he knows it deep deep down I think it's why he is so controlled by others at every stage of his life I think it's why he can not ever ever escape guilt because he is determined by others and to take the lives of those determiners is for the miner in the cave to kill his own canary. He is so human and yet so other. I think. I think it is a distant unfixed awareness that he is in a text, he cannot place it, he will never place it but Macbeth ( as a play not a guy for a moment ) frequently references the audiences role in the story the role of a text to its characters. The witches do a forth wall break at one point referencing the trumpets that the other characters cannot here but the audience can when Macbeth and Banquo walk in. If we are to see Macbeth as tied uncannily and horribly to the witches unnaturalness in some way by extension he too carries this burden. But no one told him. He will never know that he is the foul player in the tragedy of being known most intimately by an audience you can never know or meet. I think that's why he does it. All of it. Because he's trying to become something- king, violent, real, a person. I think he can feel the slight invisible border between him and everyone else and he lets it control him, guide him, he lets ambition overtake him because to be ambitious would make him tangibly present in this space, it would mean it all means something very real. I think he knows something he's not supposed to. I think he is scared.

Or maybe I'm just a freak projecting feelings onto a play about how murder is bad because you will feel bad I dunno guys don't let me talk about Macbeth I do this.

macbeth really is such a fascinating guy because when he's thinking about doing the murder he actually sits with himself for a second and goes "if i do this, i'm signing over my immortal soul, and i'm probably going to be miserable with guilt" and then he does it and is miserable with guilt. and it makes him very very interesting! because it's not an impulse thing! he knows! so what makes a person make that choice? what amount of personal ambition, what lust for glory, what amount of wifely-pressure-fueled conception-of-masculinity-as-violence can get someone to do that?

because it isn't idiocy. he knows damn well. and none of his asides, none of his elaborate visually-fantastical speeches or deft metaphors, are the words of a blundering dumbass. personally, i think the core of macbeth is exactly what we find out before he ever steps on stage: he's a soldier, and more than that, he;s a killer. and he's extremely good at it. fuck diplomacy--basically every single problem he faces in the play is one he tries to kill his way out of, because it's the only strategy he knows. at some point, i don't even think it's just manhood-as-violence for him; it's personhood-as-violence. in 3.1 he threatens to get into the lists against fate, against the price of his own defiled soul; at the end, he resolves to go down fighting no matter what. as much as people love to joke about macbeth being foolhardy and easily-pressured and not looking more than five minutes into the future--the guy knows. but all he's ever done, all he can do, is fight. he's not a fool. he's a machine.

but also, fascination aside, what the fuck is wrong with him lmfao my guy you KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN

Aaahhh Naruto with a Dragonite anon here again and I’ve been thinking more and about a Pokémon Naruto AU (with a Dragonite or course that’s how this starteddd) and there are so many different ‘mons??? Like I love them all how can I chose- BUT ALSO. But also. I know the Lillipup line is popular for Pakkun and Kakashi but I’ve decided that Pakkun is, instead, a Yamper that won’t evolve and has absolutely Beat Up a God. Pakkun is Yamper is Raikiri. I find it hilarious okay.

ALSO I struggle with other possible Pokémon for Naruto but some potential ones could be Alolan Raichu, Mimikyu, and Politoed? And of course at least One (1) giant ass Kantonian Ninetales named Kurama, probably one or both Zoroark varieties because Foxy Babey is Foxy. I’m not a fan of Naruto’s toad theme but I do like that the lil guy has a built in Uzumaki spiral, I think it’s cute. Alolan Raichu I just love, I can see one teaching Naruto to surf and ride waves like the people of Uzushio probably could,,, And listen you can’t. For one second. Tell me Naruto would t cry over Mimikyu he’d understand the, So Much and I am. I am once again having feelings.

I’m less certain on,, Most other characters? Sasuke has a Marowak because look at him, it’s Sasuke, and Sai clearly has a Smeargle named Shin… Hhh I’m a sucker for Shikamaru with Any Deer so I’ll probably just Yeet Wyrdeer and Sawsbuck at his face, at terminal velocity, because Being Shikamaru is Suffering (but also Shika with a Komala. Shika with an Absol and both of them are Very Tired because why does Naruto keep getting into trouble).

And wow I’m rambling,, I shall shut up but thank you for the encouragement!!! Idk how far I’ll go with this but it’s fun to think about!

Ehem, hello everyone and have even more ideas for the upcoming E&E series. With yah man, Mal(me)

This might be long and a little disoriented, since I don’t really know too many sports and I don’t have the best idea on how the E&E games will work or the magic systems. If y’all do have anything you want to add to this be it game/round ideas, thoughts on the magic system, possible theories for future videos or really whatever I’d love to see it!

Okay let’s get starteddd!!!

First things first what I do know right now.

I know that at this point in the story freelancer is looking in to signing up for the games, and Damien and Huxley have confirmed that they’ll be signing up too. With the most recent video of Damien he mentions teams. This is very exciting for me because that gives room for specific groups of new characters, and the thought that we might have to go up against our friends at one point in time! We will be on the freelancer team, which I’m guessing we’ll be playing in mostly multi-elemental games that will likely use 2 or more elements/electrics per game.

In note of this this is also giving me ideas for specific match ideas, specifically for one game that I’m just going to call magic capture the flag.

(I’ll probably only focus on this and maybe one other. I’ll make a part 2 if I get more ideas)

If you don’t know what capture the flag is, in basic terms it’s where there’s usually 2 or more teams who’s basic goal is guard flags and steal other teams flags in the process. This rule sort of varies from game to game but it’s basically, whoever has the most flags left/ whoever loses all their flags they lose. Rules can be made up from there but the items do not have to be strictly flags and a common rule I see is if on an opposing side you are able to be tagged and you can’t move from that spot until a teammate takes your hand and brings you back. On to magic catch the flag!

For this tournament I’m going to say there will usually be 2-3 teams playing each round. There will be around 3-5 “flags” that could vary from either just a flag, a piece of colored fabric, a baton or a school flag. As I said the rules above for this game are there but the use of magic will be involved.

This tournament will be a multi use magic game, so the best solution i can see is using an earth elemental Incantation to form a barrier around the flags, since it’s one of the easiest and most likely least magic consuming of the bunch. It is best if a guard stays close to the barrier to make sure it doesn’t fall apart and to screw away anyone trying to take flags.

Other ideas for barriers that involve other magic usages that could impress judges is; steam wall/boiling water walls. They do prevent guards from moving to far away and are very magic taxing, but unlike the earth barrier it could be much harder to even try to be around it because of hot steam and probably the constant movement of water with steam can obstruct view.

To get though the earth barrier id recommend the erosion method, which I think is ducking sick and uses my knowledge of material rock erosion to good use, anyWAYS! Using a constant repetition of cold water/ice and immediately melting it with hot fire will start to quickly break cracks into the earth and if the person is able to hold off guards long enough they would be able to get though easily enough.

That’s all for the more fleshed out ideas but; food for thought on how the judges will help.

Along with game play, judges are present to asses how the magic is used durning the tournaments, form, control, technique, and how cool it looks all come into play to earn points. If your team lost but still had good qualities in those areas you will still gain points with the chance to win, and if you did win but used too little/not skilled enough magic it won’t get you much higher chance. Obviously it would be very hard to win but if you won without the assistance of magic you would get no points for magical performance, thus not getting you very far.

As you go along through tournaments you would’ve been able to gather points from teams/people you beat. I’m not sure if I’d rather they get points without subtracting from the loser, but the idea of having some smaller portion of points being taken if you lose will up stakes, and help show differences between skill level.

As you get deeper and deeper into the tournaments the points you gain/lose get more larger and in the final rounds whoever loses will get a majority of their points lost and the winner will get a majority gained. Think of it as a percentage. Maybe starting at a 10% gain/loss and in the final rounds around a 75-90% gain/loss in points. Father you go, more the stakes rise.

The second idea I had was a simple 1 on 1 fighting match using also multiple elements. You either play til the person submits or if I’m being nicer to players if they’ve been disarmed and pinned down for 7-10 seconds. It’d be more fun if people were able to go all out and wait until the other person submits and/or passes out. They’ll need some good healers there tho :)

With that I’ll end there, I’ll likely add more about world-builidng and more ideas for games/tournament. Might even create OCs in the future. I’m just hoping people will enjoy this and use some ideas in projects!!

1. nineteen - i dont know what it is about this song but the way he composed it is just right up my alley. the lyrics themselves are very relatable to me and the slow rock vibe is always what i love to hear from hanbin idk why. this song automatically makes me wanna do that dance he did at the beginning of cosmos mv

2. flame & illusion - putting these songs together because they are That Bitch. he is my boyfriend he is an artist he is a rapper he is the shit he is the moment everyone shut up and listen. illusion is so fucking addictive i listened to it for like a month straight and his ICONIC "woah!" moments after certain verses??? yes. Flame gives me the same vibe, it gets me hyped and ready to go, the tempo for both of these songs are so on point. When I first heard flame i was like she is tied for sure with illusion

3. re birth- crying. sobbing. wailing. weeping. howling loudly. bawling non stop. my eyes are waterfalls (pun intended). this song brings out so many emotions from me. when he first released this demo i was practically BEGGING this man to finish it and im SO glad he did. this song means so much to me and his voice is so beautiful in it ugh

11. cosmos - miss ma'am....this song is such a breathe of fresh air from hanbin. i'm so glad he made this the title track bc its something different from me that he needs to highlight. he said he was gonna do some more happy songs and this is what im taking about!!! he listened!!! although its not the most catchy imo because i typically like songs more like flame where the beat is intense and the lyrics are more tough i guess?? this song is so nice and created perfectly. AND AGAIN WITH SINGER HANBIN

Levi is already pretty good at hiding his emotions, so it isn’t too difficult for him to act normal around you

Despite the popular belief, he isn’t jealous or immature

He usually just throws himself into his work and convinces himself that he doesn’t have time for a relationship, even if you did love him back

Considering the world the two of you lived in, it’s pretty easy to think that way

Part of the reason he’s so good at his job is because he channels his frustration through it

You were completely oblivious to how he felt (but then again, most people were)

The only person who had any suspicion was Hange, who knew better than to mention anything

Late evenings when the captain was alone with his thoughts were when his feelings become more difficult to deal with

Levi tries so hard to deny them at first, but your kind eyes and soft smile refuse to stop nagging his brain

And then all he think about is how you're probably in your s/o's arms right now instead of his

When his mind drifts, Levi remembers the moments before you met your s/o in annoyance

The raven-haired man knows that with your sweet nature he could never tell you the truth; the guilt would only break your heart and that’s the last thing he wants

Saiouma Fic: Christmas Eve Date!

Super original title, I know. Anyways! Just wanted to write something cute starring my boys! A small summary: the boys spend Christmas Eve together for their first date, so it’s of course gotta be extra cute and soft, hehe. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to want to give it a read! And if you celebrate it, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays! ☆

It had been a week since Shuichi and Kokichi started dating. The detective.... still couldn't believe it, honestly. The boy he struggled so hard to understand at times, just couldn't figure out, sometimes got impatient or annoyed with him... was now the boy he fell for.

Though Kokichi was still honestly as surprised, too. A boy who wore many different masks, hid behind so many walls... yet this shy, meek detective crashed through many of them. He confused the supreme leader at times, caught him off guard... and interested him. He would jokingly tell the detective he loves him sometimes, bu even unexpected to him: he truly did end up falling for him.

Tonight, they were going to spend Christmas Eve together, for their first date. They both were admittedly nervous over the fact, but an excited kind of nervous., since Shuichi proposed the idea of spending time together tonight. He was going to make sure it'll be an enjoyable night for Kokichi.

Right now, he was standing in the main square, waiting for Kokichi to arrive. Their meetup time was 7:30pm, Shuichi arriving a few minutes earlier. His eyes look up towards the giant illuminated Christmas tree in the center, thinking it looks even prettier as the snow slowly falls.

Several minutes later, a certain someone spots Shuichi. He would've just went up to him like normal, but instead: he starts tiptoeing towards him from behind, a flash of that cheeky smile visible from under his scarf. Shuichi was still spacing out a bit while he looks at the tree, so he wasn't aware of Kokichi's presence. Once he was close enough, Kokichi reaches his arms up, and... "Ha!!"

"Aiiiee?!" ...Places his cold hands on Shuichi's neck, making the boy jump with a yelp. "K-Kokichi-!" He quickly turns around, greeted by the laughing boy.

"Hahaha! You always make the funniest sounds! Shuichi~!" He chimes, placing his hands back into his pockets. "What were you even staring off into space about, anyway? I've been waiting for you to notice me for the past 20 minutes, ya knoooow."

"H-Huh? 20 minutes...? But I didn't even see you..."

"That's right! 20 minutes! I was standing right over there, waiting for you to notice me, Shuichi... how could you be so cruel...? But that's a lie! I just got here."

"O-Oh... geez, you had me worried for a second..." He gives Kokichi's nose a poke, emitting a giggle from him. "And where are your gloves? Your hands were very cold..."

"Hm? What do ya mean? They're very warm!" Which was, of course: a very obvious lie. He had actually forgot them when he was heading out the house, but he wasn't about to admit that. He shows his cold hands to Shuichi, as if that was going to prove it. "See? I don't need gloves."

"You're obviously lying. Here, let me..." A sigh, Shuichi cups Kokichi's hands in his. He then proceeds to blow air on them to help warm them up.

"Ah..." Kokichi blinks, honestly not expecting he was going to do that, even if a part of him admittedly was hoping for it. The more Shuichi blew his breath on his hands, the warmer they became.. along with his cheeks, which heated up in turn.

Once he was done, he rubs small circles in the back of Kokichi's hands. "There.. I hope that helped."

"Sh...Shuichi's so cheesy..." He whines, blushing. Now he was thankful his scarf covers most of his face. "Y...Yeah, thanks... my hands really do feel warmer, now. Now come onnn, let's get starteddd..." And before Shuichi could have time to notice, Kokichi runs over to get behind him and start pushing on his back.

"W-Woah, okay-!" Shuichi stumbles a bit forward, until Kokichi goes to start walking alongside him. But even aside from that, Kokichi was eager to start their date. He never spent Christmas Eve with someone romantically like this, before... even if it didn't show, he was still very nervous about the thought. But he told himself... it'll be fine. No need to overthink, or think so hard: just relax himself for once... and enjoy tonight with Shuichi.

Shiba Park was holding a Christmas market in its area, which they were heading to. A German-influenced kind of event, some of the foods and drinks were traditional German and holiday kinds, along with the set up of the booths looking like an old village. It sold a variety of Christmas-themed items such as ornaments, decorations, toys, nutcracker dolls, cuckoo clocks, etc. Even as they just look around, they curiously examine the different things the booths were selling, Kokichi tugging on Shuichi's hand whenever he wanted to drag him to the next booth that caught his interest. Not that the detective minded at all: he found it honestly adorable to see his boyfriend so excited like this. "Ohh, Shuichi, look!!"

"Ah?" Kokichi then points to the most notable attraction in the market: the giant Christmas pyramid in the center. "Ahh...!" As they walk closer to it, they can see the different figures and dolls inside of it, along with the pyramid slowly spinning. "This looks amazing... I've never seen one up close like this, before..."

"They imported this from Germany, did you know?" Informs Kokichi, even holding a finger up as if he was lecturing him. "I have bases set up all over the world, as you already know. My subordinates that reside in Germany... I ordered them to create this and ship it here! So you have only us to thank for such excellent craftsmanship~!"

Shuichi just slumps his shoulders. "I-Is that a lie..."

"Who knows? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't!" He smiles cheekily. "Though it isn't a lie that it's from Germany. But it's okay, Shuichi: even if you're dumb, your extra smart boyfriend will educate you on lots of things.... nishishi, get your mind out of the gutter!" Cackles Kokichi, jabbing his finger in Shuichi's side.

"I-I didn't even say anything!! A-And you're the one saying weird things! ANYWAY-" He pouts, blushing. "Th-Thank you for the fun fact, this does look very well made.... Ah, let me take a picture of it, actually." Getting out his phone, Shuichi steps back a bit so he could get several pictures of the pyramid. Or at least; he would've gotten clearer ones, if Kokichi wasn't making him laugh by constantly cutting into the shots with ridiculous faces and poses. "G-Get out of the shot, Kokichi, hahahah!"

"Never! Bask in my glory, nishishi!!" Shuichi laughing was only making Kokichi laugh even more. He was glad Shuichi didn't get annoyed by him doing that. It wasn't often he saw the detective actually crack up, he feels. It sounded so nice to hear... especially because he was the one making him laugh. He was starting to see those little reminders of what made him fall for the other in the first place.

Though he eventually stopped playing around so that Shuichi could get clear pictures of the pyramid, and snap some shots of the booths as well. Once he was done, he puts his phone away. "There we go... alright, where to visit next... oh!" Shuichi gestures over to one of the booths selling desserts and hot drinks. "How about we enjoy a little treat? A lot of the food stalls were selling their drinks in their custom mugs, too... I want to buy one!"

"Awwright!" Kokichi beams, shaking his fists excitedly. "Let's go, let's go!!" Kokichi grabs Shuichi's hand to drag him over there. Different flavors of hot chocolate, coffee, and cider were the drinks that were being sold, along with different sweets, most notably being slices of strawberry shortcake: or ‘Christmas Cake’, rather. Kokichi first looks at the different mugs one could buy to keep after they finish their drink. Snowman mugs and gingerbread mugs were some of the types they were selling. "I want... hot chocolate in a gingerbread mug! With lotsa whipped cream and marshmallows aaand a gingerbread cookie, too! Oh, and let's eat some Christmas cake together, too!! Pwetty pwease, Shuichi~?" He looks up at Shuichi with a 'cutesy, innocent' expression.

"W-Well if it's what you want, of course I don't mind buying that for you! Let's see what I'll get..." Shuichi orders what Kokichi wants, and then orders himself peppermint hot chocolate in a snowman mug, along with two slices of Christmas cake for them both. They go to one of the tables so they could enjoy their stuff. He gives a soft exhale as the hot choclate warms his body. "This tastes so good... I like drinking hot chocolate when I'm cold. And it goes really well with the cake..."

"Right?!" Kokichi gives a small hum feeling the hot mug not only warm his hands, but the hot chocolate also warming up his body, too. "Shuichi gets it! And the cookie I got with my drink is really tasty. You should've got one, too, Shuichi! But since I'm feeling generouuus...." Kokichi picks up the cookie and breaks off a piece. He holds it up to Shuichi's mouth. "Here! Say 'ahhh~!'"

"E-Ehh?? Th-That's..." Shuichi shifts his eyes a bit, seeing if anyone was looking. It'd be a little embarrassing doing that in public... but nonetheless, slowly goes to open his mouth. "A...Ahh...."

"Good boy!" He snickers, placing the cookie in Shuichi's mouth. And before Shuichi could stand back up straight, Kokichi leans up to press a kiss to Shuichi's cheek. His lips were warm from drinking the hot chocolate, so he teases: "Heated kisses!"

"Kokifchiimm...." He mumbles, feeling the heat to his cheeks rise even more. He finishes the cookie piece, sips more of his chocolate... before leaning in to place a quick kiss to his lips. "A-A heated kiss for you, too...!"

"Ah!!" Whining, Kokichi starts pummeling Shuichi's chest, his own face a deeper shade of red from feeling embarrassed. "N-No fair! Cheater!!"

"Hehehe....w-well that's what you get for teasing me! So it's payback! That, and... you look really cute when you blush...."

"Hmph!!" Kokichi reaches up to tug on the drawstrings of Shuichi's coat, forcing the hood to close up real tight. Hearing Shuichi make incomprehensible mumbles made him start laughing, distracted from how flustered his boyfriend was making him for just a second. "You're so silly, Shuichi..." Yet the way he said that was a tone full of genuine warmth and fondness: a kind rare to hear from the supreme leader.

Once they finished their drinks and desserts, they place their respective mugs in their bags. It was hard to really want to buy anything, since a lot of items there were admittedly very pricey... but in the end, they bought themselves little keychains of gingerbread houses, so they were satisfied. After they were done at the market, they walk down the city streets, admiring the illuminated trees. And Tokyo Tower in the distance, also being illuminated: looked really pretty as well...

"Hey, Shuichi: I want to show you something! It's all the way in Shinjuku: Terrace City, specifically!!"

"Oh...?" He gives a curious head tilt. "Is something happening down there, too?" "Yesiree! But it's a sur~prise until we get there!" Kokichi takes out his phone to check the train schedules. "The next train to Shinjuku will be here in 15 minutes! The station's up ahead, riiight? So come on! Fuuuull charge!!!" And before Shuichi can even respond, Kokichi grabs his hand and starts sprinting.

"Uwah-!!" And Shuichi's quickly running as well so he won't trip. How many times by now has he been dragged around like a rag doll, he jokingly wonders to himself? Though he really was curious to see what Kokichi wanted to surprise him with...

What Kokichi wanted to show him was the winter illuminations in Terrace City. Along the pathways and streets were a plethora of illuminated trees, lamps, buildings... all of a variety of colors. And as Kokichi brings Shuichi along one of the walkways, gives a closer look at the decorated trees and bushes, light decorations placed inside of the trees as well. The mixtures of yellows, whites, blues, and purples of the Christmas lights, paired with the night sky and falling snow... almost made the walk along the pathway feel magical. He looks up at Shuichi, giggling under his breath to see how amazed he looked. "Really pretty, right? That's why I wanted to show you!"

"Yes, it's...." His eyes continue to scan the illuminations, stopping for a moment to admire them some more. "Really pretty...I love it..."

"Nishishi..." Kokichi goes to stand alongside him, cupping Shuichi's hand in his. "...." For a moment, he's silently admiring the sight as well before he looks up towards him and asks: "....Is Shuichi having fun tonight? You are, right...?" The clear indication of nervousness in his tone, he can't hide. He doesn't hide...

Shuichi can feel him grip his hand a bit tighter from tension. "Ah?" Shuichi blinks in surprise, looking down at him. Feeling Kokichi squeeze his hand tighter like that for a moment: he could tell he was nervous. "Kokichi..." Giving him a warm smile, Shuichi nods his head. "Yes. I've been having a lot of fun tonight, thanks to you. I... hope you have been, too, Kokichi..." For a second, he pauses, until his other hand slowly goes up to cup Kokichi's cheek, stroking it gently with his thumb.

"........." Feeling his cheeks heat up, Kokichi nuzzles Shuichi's hand. "...Good. I'm glad. Since: yeah. I'm having fun, too. But I knew I would: since it's with you, Shuichi..." He softly mumbles, looking up at Shuichi with genuine warmth in his eyes and tone. Knowing Shuichi was having a fun time tonight, just like he was: it made him relieved, and happy...

"Kokichi..." The look Kokichi gives him, and knowing he was also having fun: it made his heart feel warm. It made him feel happier and happier that he decided to bring Kokichi out, tonight.

Being soft like this with someone, honest and vulnerable like this... it was normally such a scary thought. It still is, yet: when it came to Shuichi, it didn't feel as bad. The detective truly was special in a lot of ways. But it was still embarrassing, so it didn't take long for that big, bright smile to plaster right back onto Kokichi's face. "Anywaaaay~! It's time for the final event: exchanging gifts! Thooough I'd rather us do it somewhere where no nosy wosies can see, so..." And without warning, Kokichi takes a step back, and... makes a run for it, speeding down the walkway. "Catch me, catch me, Detective~!"

"Ah?! W-Wait! Kokichi-!!" Shuichi hurries to run after him, confused as to where the cackling boy was even trying to go. "Sh...Sheesh....this boy..." It wasn't the first time he's had to chase him for whatever reason. Even he couldn't help but crack a smile, for once not caring if they looked ridiculous running down the streets, making sure to dodge people they fly past.

When he sometimes looked back to see if Shuichi was still following and saw him smiling, it made his own smile widen even more. "Nishishi! Shuichi's been getting better at keeping up with me!" Eventually, a hill comes into their distance. Kokichi begins to run up it, ignoring the soreness in his legs from running nonstop. It was a steep hill, but once one gets up there.... it gave them a great view of the cityscape below. As he slowly comes to a stop, he takes a moment to catch his breath before saying: "H...Here we are!"

Shuichi slowly follows after, looking more tired than he did. He pants heavily, hands placed on his knees as he catches his breath. "M...My legs... sore..." "Come on!" Kokichi sits down, patting the seat next to him. "Sit, sit!" Not only so they could rest their legs, but to enjoy the view for a moment as well. Once Shuichi sat down, Kokichi leans against him. "I like this hill. It gives you such a great view of the city, don't ya think? And I can exclaim to the whole world who the supreme leader of evil is!!"

"Ahaha... yes, I'm sure you can. But yeah, the view is very beautiful..." The natural city lights, paired with the Christmas lights, made the illuminated city look even prettier at night. "I can see why you wanted to come up here."

"Yep! And nooow..." Sitting up straight, Kokichi takes his bookbag off his shoulders. "Gift exchanging tiiime~! A special gift from Ouma Kokichi, himself: so you're guaranteed to love it!" At least: he hopes he will. The store he retrieved this present from was one far away, and he was lucky to even get one before it ran out of stock. He felt that Shuichi might love something like that.... he hopes he's right. The nervous pounding in his chest grows when he takes the wrapped gift out. It was a medium-sized gift box, wrapped in colorful polka dot-patterned wrapping paper and a striped purple bow. The wrapping was admittedly...not great at all, which Kokichi hopes Shuichi doesn't point out, nor mind. It still looked like he tried his best to do it, though. "Here! You go first!"

"O-Okay..." Shuichi takes the present into his hand. He doesn't comment on the wrapping, since he didn't care if it wasn't perfect. He unties the ribbon before unwrapping the present. Once he opens the lid of the gift box, he would see a stuffed teddy bear inside. "...!" The teddy bear has a black hat on its head, along with wearing a white shirt, black vest, and striped bow. On the center of its bowtie is a 'brooch', which is actually a button. "Ah...?" Shuichi looks at Kokichi for a moment. He gives a nod, silently telling him to go ahead and press it. When Shuichi goes to do so, a melody starts playing. "O...Oh...!"

In truth, the teddy bear had a music box stuffed inside it. The tune it played had soothing, almost jazzy like beat to it. Like something that would play in the background of a cafe, hence the teddy bear's barista-like outfit. Kokichi studies Shuichi's reaction with an unreadable expression as they listen to the tune. Seeing Shuichi look practically mesmerized by the gift couldn't help but make a soft giggle leave him. He was scared it'd be a bad or underwhelming reaction, but: it ended up being much better than he expected. "Nishishi~! You love it that much?"

Once the music ended, Shuichi still looks in awe before snapping out of it and nodding his head vigorously. "Y...Yes!!! I-I love it so much, Kokichi! The teddy bear looks so cute!! And..." He holds it close to his chest. "...The music box sounds so pretty. I promise to take great care of it... ah, now for your gift-!" Carefully placing the teddy bear down next to him, Shuichi goes inside his bag to take out Kokichi's gift. The wrapping was neat, having a pattern of stars and a white bow. The size of the gift box was a bit smaller than Kokichi's, but all the same, hopes he'll love his gift, too. He hands it to him, saying: "H...Here you go..."

Almost too eagerly, Kokichi takes the gift in his hands. "Huhuhu... let's see what the daring detective got me!! If it's too lame... I might have to kill him..." Though he was only teasing, expecting he will love whatever is inside. And when he tears away the wrapping paper, opening up the lid... "!!!!!!!!" His eyes widen. Taking out the gift, he could see it was a snowglobe. But not only that: the inside had a design of an organization building. On the 'grounds' of the building were purple-and-black dice cubes. It also had colorful garlands, some of the snow made to look like confetti, and: on the base of the snow globe, had the letters 'DICE' written on it. "DICE..."

"Heheh... I had this custom made. I wanted to base it off your organization...! Well: not what I know what the actual building really looks like, only the name of your organization... and the extra stuff was to give it a 'circus' touch to it, since you love playing pranks and mischievous... and the dice blocks for, well: obvious reasons, hehe... g-go on: give it a shake!"

Once he does give it a shake, Kokichi's excitedly shifting in place when he sees the snow and confetti slowly fall inside of the globe, along with the dice blocks bouncing around in there. Needless to say, he loved it. Very much. "Shuichi...." Kokichi places the snow globe down... before lunging at Shuichi, glomping him down in a hug. "...I love it!! You truly do know me so well, nishishi~! It perfectly captures the aura of my organization!!!"

"Woah...!" He gave a small yelp when Kokichi glomped him down, laughing before wrapping his arms around him. "Ah, well I'm glad you love it...! I just... wanted to give you something special, like you gave me. I had... so much fun with you, tonight. My first date...with my boyfriend...went so well. I'm so happy...!" "Nishishi... Shuichi's so cute..." His hands gently cup the detective's face, stroking his cheeks gently with his thumbs. "...I had the time of my life, too! You amazed this supreme leader lots, so you get to live for another day! Really though.... I'm glad I spent tonight with you, Shuichi. And that....you're my boyfriend. That's not a lie..."

"Ahh....Kokichi...." The blush on Shuichi's face darkens, giggling as he starts snuggling him softly. "Y...You know, th-the date doesn't have to end, now! We can... go back to my house and spend some more time there. Maybe watch a movie with some hot drinks, in comfy sweaters...and then cuddle in bed... i-if you'd like to spend the night. I'd love that, at least..."

"...Passing up a chance to spend more time with and cuddle my Shumai? Yeah, right!! So, I accept! I'm gonna steal all your sweaters and your pajamas! And I won't give them back, too!"

"Hehehe... w-well I won't complain." They nuzzles their foreheads sofly together. And for a moment... they're quietly staring at each other. The amount of love and adoration in Shuichi's eyes as he stares up at Kokichi... only he could ever get such a look. And the special kind of warmth and softness in Kokichi's: was one only for Shuichi's eyes. "...I love you, Kokichi. I love you so much..." "Shuichi..." Feeling his own cheeks turn back, he softly whispers: "...I love you, too. Lots! Since my beloved Shumai took me on such a great date... I'll shower him in all the cuddles and kisses!!!"

"Ahaha.... I'd love that a lot, yes." They give each other one more stare... before Kokichi leans his head in closer, planting a soft kiss to Shuichi's lips. And even once it's over, he plants another, after another, after another on him. The detectives gives a content hum at the kisses, returning each one he gives while rubbing small circles in his back, before ultimately giving him a longer, deeper kiss. For a moment, he wanted to just stay right here, continuing to hold Kokichi in his arms like this. The way he makes the detective's heart flutter, how much he makes him feel loved and special.... he truly feels lucky to be Kokichi's boyfriend.

Though eventually, it was starting to get a bit too cold to just keep laying there, and didn't want snow to start piling on them, so: once they needed a small break from kissing so much, Kokichi gets off of him, standing up so he could extend his hand. "Let's go, shall we? Our date's not over just yet!"

"Ehehe.... yes." He grabs Kokichi's hand so he could be helped up. Once they put their presents and gift boxes back into their bags, Shuichi cups Kokichi's hand. "...Let's go home."

"Mmhm...!" And Kokichi starts running down the hill, making Shuichi have to keep up with him, the boys laughing together while they do so. They were eager to hurry and make it home, so they could continue to form what’ll be one of their happiest memories of Christmas Eve with each other.

New Year’s Eve With The Boys

Well this is a first

I am making this type of scenario

BUT HEY THERE’S A FIRST IN EVERYTHING

So you told the boys that you’re going to host a new year’s eve party for them since the year has been successful so far

And y’all wanted to end and start the year with a bang

And there you were, setting the dining table

wITH A LOT OF FOOD OMG THE BOYS ARE GOINGG TO BE JOLLY GOOD IDIOTS WHEN THEY SEE THE FOOD

You cooked their favorite dishes and yours as well, not forgetting the cake and wine

Cause PARTYING ISN’T REAL WITHOUT SOME DRINKS

Did I mention that the housewife Mingyu is helping you with the food and setting the place up and stuff you’ll be cleaning up later?

ALSO SEUNGKWAN BECAUSE HE KNOWS STUFF AS WELL that precious dear

And so the night, along with the pretty night light outside, was ever so still yet inviting though you wanted to pinch the tall beanstalk

“Do you want me to put this cake on the center or at the counter?” LOL HOW BOUT YOU PUT ME ON THE CENTER YOU DORK

And right when you made everything picture perfect including yourself, the doorbell rang and you ran together with Mingyu to the door.

Seeing the room full of warmth and new year decors, they were amazed and downright happy

Hoshi started to freestyle on the dance floor and you later found yourself in the center of Seventeen, dancing and wiggling like there’s no tomorrow

and points to the TV with panic in his face

“YA THE COUNTDOWN IS STARTING GET THE HORNS GET YOUR GIRLS GET EVERYTHING!”

Everyone ran around while flailing their arms, grabbing the nearest horns, kazoos, and confetti

Now y’all are screaming and cheering like nerds, jumping like crazy and counting down

“THREE, TWO, ONE, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!”

And the room was filled with pieces of paper and glitters fluttering around, tooting of horns and laughters. The boys wore their biggest grins and you did the same, concluding that the party was a success

You left them to go to the kitchen and get the cake, and while you were away, they moved to and fro to give you the first surprise of the year

if y’all turn down your music you can hear me sobbing across the miles

You came back, chocolate cake on your hands and to your delight, they stood in a straight line facing you, holding a “HAPPY NEW YEAR Y/N” banner and a bouquet of roses

OKAY AWWEE SHUCKSSS YOU DIDNT HAVE TO

Cue the confetti via China Line ilysm

And before you ran to the boys to thank them you told yourself to KEEP SMILING

Don’t you even dare to shed a single tear gaddamn

You settled the cake on the table and ran to them without any second thoughts, meeting them in a big hug

“I LOVE YOU GUYS THANK YOU! HAPPY NEW YEAR!”

They returned the greeting with patting on the head and individual hugs

And so, everyone sang their hearts out, with the feast as you guys waited for the sun to rise

Yes we all love our boys, and our boys love us as well

Happy new year Carats! Let’s start the year right with a smile together with our favorite Seventeen!

Request: Monsta X’s sister being asked out by Xiao from Up10tion, backstage, during an award show. Genre: fluff Author’s Note: I didn’t know what to put as the title so I kind of created something in my head. It seems creative so I thought why not lolol. I hope this will do for now ;) Admin Yen

Hours and hours passing, you never left the studio. You waited for your brothers to finish their practice and you might say it was ‘EXHAUSTING’ Hearing them ask you for water, taking 5 minute breaks through each finished song. It made your heart ache that you had to see them like this. You knew that in your brothers’ hearts, they had passion and confidence for their fans. As their last song approached you gave them a cute ‘Monsta X HWAITING! chu~’ Everyone pretty much gave it their all after your cute chants and strong courage.

“Phew, we are finally doneeeee~~~ Let’s get it starteddd!!!!” Your brother Jooheon said loudly. Dancing and prancing around the room, you thought to yourself ‘HOW COULD HE STILL BE ENERGETIC?!’

“Oppa, you still have a performance in two days for KBS Song Festival.” You say, only to ruin the moment for him. He suddenly whined and sat down grumpily giving you a death glare.

“Ha, you just got told by Y/N. How do you like that HUH?” Your childish brother Minhyuk darted back at the grumpy one.

Your brothers were the only people you needed to be with, you didn’t have time for relationships. Or maybe, that’s what you thought. Seeing them laugh and play around made you smile. Even if you were the only girl there, you could still fit in with them.

But today was more of a resting day, Wonho and I.M. couldn’t even reach it to their rooms on time before they fell asleep on the couch. Of course Minhyuk and Jooheon would crash on the floor, not to mention Hyungwon and Kihyun fell asleep on the kitchen table. What a sight. You sat down on the couch as well, and you played with Wonho’s hair, falling into a deep sleep. Shownu who usually slept in the bathtub was now sleeping in his room.

“Shhhh, you might wake her.”

“Shut up, she’s too cute to look at.”

“Awwww, our sister’s growing up too fast.” Voices were all in your ear. Banging and clanging couldn’t keep you asleep any longer.

*Yawn*

“See! Look, you woke her up Jooheon.” Minhyuk scolded Jooheon causing Jooheon to spit water on Minyuk’s face. Minhyuk stood up and spilled water all over Jooheon.

“Ugh, you guys are too loud. It’s too early for this.” You complained, kicking your feet.

“Um, Y/N it’s 12:27. Please don’t get mad, we didn’t want to wake you up.” Shownu said, only ruining your day even more.

You had a photoshoot today with Up10tion today, and you were late. What a great impression on them. You quickly ran out of the room and put on your gucci heels.

“Y/N! Don’t forget that we’re eating out today before tomorrow’s big celebration.” Shownu called out to you, giving you a cheeky smile.

Opening the door, bright studio lights were centered on the set. You were never this nervous, matter of fact, you were never nervous for a photoshoot. You’ve been modeling for quite some time and you’re growing as a big model in Korea.

What was making you feel that way? Maybe the fact that a cute boy caught your heart. You finally realize that you were daydreaming and someone had to bring you back to life again.

There he was, right in front of you, the cute boy who caught your attention waving his hand back and forth making you look stupid. ‘Ugh! Y/N, pull yourself together!’ You thought to yourself, mentally slapping yourself in the face.

“Well, are you going to stand there or stand there?” The young boy asked, making you blush slightly. You had to pull yourself together before you let yourself go.

“Oh, sorry. I-I was looking at the studio lights, they were different from last time and the set too.” You told him, only making yourself look even more idiotic.

“Come in, don’t just stand there. Oh by the way, my name is Xiao.” He looked at you quite intently, observing your features.

“My name’s Y/N.” You continued to talk as you came inside. You and Xiao sat down and waited for the other members to finish so you could start your photoshoot.

After talking to Xiao, you’ve realized that you guys had a lot of things in common. The sense of style, love taking pictures, music. Maybe he was the one chosen for you? You had taken pictures with Xiao, but in the most weirdest angles you’ve ever been in. The last picture made you really close to Xiao, only a few centimeters away.

Up close he had a good profile, you could see his more of his manlier features. You blushed, looking at him.

“Good, Good, Y/N put your head on his shoulders, and Xiao put your hand around her waist.” You both followed the photographers instructions. Your heart was beating faster as his hands rested on your waist. “OK, that’s a wrap! You two are done for the day.” Their manager said walking up to Xiao and whispering something in his ear.

“Oh, um, I have to go now. It was nice talking to you, I hope we could meet again.” Xiao waved, leaving you lonely again.

You walked back to the dorm, lousily taking each step. The thought of you guys so close together made your heart skip a beat.’Y/N! Get yourselves together!’ you told yourself, only to bump into a hard wall.

“Ouch Y/N, it really must be a horrible day for you.” The voice sounded familiar, Hyungwon! “Not to mention, walking in those heels.” He chuckled, only making you frown. Hyungwon really loved to tease you over the most little things, but he was more calm than Minhyuk and Jooheon. Those two can’t go for days without having an argument.

“Shut up. I just wasn’t paying attention, I’m human too you know.” You say rolling your eyes at him. Suddenly, his eyebrow lifted up.

“And might I ask, why weren’t you paying attention?” Shit, he got you there. He stood there, waiting for you to reply. Your face turned a tint of pink, you tried not to make anything obvious so you lied.

“It’s just that I met an old friend and she wanted me to go to her party, but I told her I can’t go because we have to eat out today.” You looked down, making sure you don’t make eye contact with Hyungwon.

“Well ok then.” He shrugged. altogether you both walked down the street and landed back to you dorm. You knew that he knew that you were lying. He wasn’t that type of person to really go into a topic.

Dinner finally came, your brothers were pretty childish for some classy restaurant. Who were you to judge though? You were out of place, you stared at your food for the passed 20 minutes, leaving it untouched. All you could keep thinking about was Xiao.

You were backstage on your phone inside Monsta X’s room. You were quite bored while watching everyone rushing around the whole room. Today was very busy for your brothers. Many of them were practicing their lines as they got their makeup done. Needing some fresh air, you walked out of the room. You didn’t know where you were going, but you hoped that the halls were leading you somewhere instead of a dead end. You saw someone’s door open, and you meet the person’s eyes. Your eyes went wide, jaws dropping, you looked into the person’s familiar face. It was Xiao! Both of you were caught in a stir of emotions, he smiled widely at you.

“Oh hey Y/N! I didn’t expect to see you here. Why are you here anyway?” He questioned, looking closely at your face.

“My brothers are performing today so I came to support them today. But I didn’t know you would be here today.” You say, staring at the wall trying to avoid his face.

“Mmmm, I didn’t know you had brothers who are idols?!” Xiao exclaimed, releasing a cute expression.

“Yeah, they’re Monsta X.” You say. You continued your conversation with Xiao, ending up to be in front of your brothers room. You opened the door, only causing him to stop walking.

“Y/N, I actually wanted to tell you something.” Xiao said, making all your brothers run through the door. “I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me tomorrow. I mean it’d fine if you disagree though.” A tint of pink rushed through his cheeks. You looked at your brothers, giving them a sign for help.

“Y/N IS GOING JUST DONT LEAVE OUR BABY A CRYING MESS!!!” Minyuk exclaimed, a smile appearing on Xiao’s lips.

“I guess we can go then since I have one of your brother’s approval.” The rest of the members looked at each other, smiling. Giving a thumbs up and Minyuk screaming joyfully.

“Y/N’s GONNA GO ON A DATTEE~”
