okay so hear me out. sex pollen/fuck or die trope with stancest? yes yes very good, we love it! now stay with me here, okay? we're gonna get there, i promise. the setup is important!

the how, however, is NOT important -- if there's a video game with a self aware AI that wants to date a human man and can possess a pizzeria animatronic to try and get him, we can just chalk this up to a weird little TV in the backroom of some dated electronics store in gravity falls that sometimes, oopsies, sucks people into the shows that are playing.

THE POINT is that i am thinking about stan and ford somehow ending up in the universe of "space trek." which would of course just be the annoying mishap of the week for stan, but would be a goddamn DELIGHT to ford. getting to live out a little bit of his favorite show?? getting to be hands on with the computer and walk the halls of the ship and poke around the science labs?? fascinating!

it's not a perfect match of character, of course, but stan plays the part of the flirtatious, daring human captain well, and ford has never wanted anything more than to experience the logic-driven mindset of a vulcan first officer/scientist. and all things considered, it's not so bad compared to other anomolies they've gotten mixed up with! a little space adventure, a lot of goofing off, and sure they gotta figure out how to get home, but it all feels very low stakes and something that they can maybe enjoy a bit while they're working on it.

at least until, HUH, ford starts to feel quite strange actually. suboptimal. like he's coming down with a fever, but he doesn't feel sick so much as he feels....off kilter? too warm in any room, for certain, and that's so odd because he's always run quite cold temperature-wise.

and he's so distracted. at first by everyone -- there are too many people in the mess, too much foot traffic in the halls, entirely too many officers on the bridge. but more importantly, stan is usually on the bridge. and stan is the most distracting. has he always been this distracting? he's certainly always been loud, and he's always been an incorrigible flirt. but even at his most jealous, his most irrational, ford hasn't ever felt quite this close to actually acting on those impulses. stan winks at the very attractive communications officer, and ford thinks about bending him over his chair and fucking him in front of everyone on the bridge. hell, they could broadcast it, even! make sure the entire ship knows better than to make eyes at what's his.

and it isn't until, entirely without realizing it, he's actually standing beside the chair, gripping stan's uniform so hard at the shoulder that the neck is gaping, and stan looks startled and concerned by whatever is happening on his face that ford realizes oh. oh no. something is very wrong actually.

I'm back from a semi-hiatus with a new ask game! What would be the most fun way Tommy could show up next episode? Not the most logical or what you think necessarily will happen, just your favorite scenario!

Idk if it’s the most fun way necessarily, but something I’ve been thinking about is: since we have seen the 217 engine next to the 118 engine at the airport, I would love to see Tommy there in the beginning of the episode, asking Eddie and/or Hen and Chim where Buck is.

Then in the middle of the episode, after a while of them not hearing anything from Buck, he’d probably be a little worried because he’s heard stories and knows that Buck can go kind of rogue sometimes, so he and the others text/call him and Bobby and maybe that’s how they learn that Athena is landing the plane on the freeway instead of at the airport.

They’d show up just in the nick of time (or maybe just after the chaos of the landing has already happened) to help the survivors out and there’d be a moment between Buck and Tommy as they pass each other, hands brushing or something equally sappy.

Or maybe they work together to get the same patient out to the ambulances. “We make a good team,” Tommy would say and Buck would get all pink and look all pleased.

After they get everyone loaded into ambulances and after we see the bathena reunion kiss, we’d see the two of them between the fire trucks, where Buck thanks Tommy for coming to the rescue and says something akin to, “My hero,” and pulls him into a kiss.

Crack Theory:

The troopers are actually dead and have been animated by the Nightsisters.

That's not the crack part.

Thrawn is also dead. He was revived by the Nightsisters to lead the (dead) troops he'd brought them, in order to return them to the main galaxy and conquer it.

As the greatest strategist and highest ranking Imperial still on the board, he is their best chance for escaping their planet of exile, taking vengeance on those who destroyed them, and finally ruling the galaxy, with Thrawn their willing or unwilling puppet.

Extra Crack Theory:

Ezra is also dead. He was revived as part of the resurrection of the Chimaera's crew, and escaped before they could rectify that. Alternatively, he was revived in order to be a distraction for Sabine, Ahsoka, and Skoll and Hati, to get them out of Thrawn and the Nightsisters way.

Now that would be a twist.

Ok Nintendo, here’s my pitch:

Make Zelda visibly a person of color and let her be playable in a main series game.

We’ve already had a tan Zelda with Tetra in Windwaker. Multiple tan Hyrule royals now, actually: Daphnes, Rhoam, Sonia. (Just let Zelda stay tan throughout the story this time, please.)

Hyrule’s cultural coding needs to continue to be diversified as well. Zelda’s family in particular needs to be respectfully coded as something other than European.

She can still have the blood of the goddess for the superpowers, but don’t make her be a princess next time. Do it like Skyward Sword, where her father was the head of the Knight Academy or something like that. Break away from the monarchy thing to remove potential monarchist and divine right readings.

Now, making her poc but then keeping her in a supportive role isn’t completely satisfactory either. So let us switch between the two of them throughout the next game. If that’s not possible, let Zelda be the main character while Link steps into more of a supportive role (like he sort of did in the story of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.)

The groundwork for all of these ideas is already in the existing games.

me, personally, well. i think if senshi dungeon meshi was a recipe blogger he’d write a whole essay breaking down the ingredient sources, harvesting and butchering methods, and would end it with a personal tale. the actual recipe would be incredibly easy to understand. and then he’d add multiple nutritional diagrams. he’d end every blog entry with a message of encouragement. peace and love on planet earth.

Listen I get the Charles/Edwin of it all but imagine a world where Edwin stays with the Cat King and people roll up looking for the Cat King and find a posh British teenager sitting on that chair calmly stroking a cat in his lap and it's like, okay. Sure. They can buy the Cat King being British. Kinda weird he's being British in a small town in the United States, but like, whatever, weirder things have happened. And so they start their negotiations or whatever they're there for and they're fully addressing Edwin who has a smug little smirk the whole time until he interrupts them to say, actually, he's not the Cat King. And then the previously ignored cat leaps off his lap and transforms right in front of them into the real Cat King.

I think something I really love about Starfire is how big she is, in all senses.

She has a big personality, her emotions are big, and she is physically very large, especially her hair (I love her hair).

She takes up so much space (without taking away anyone else's space), and I think that's awesome.

A lot of the time, women are judged for being dramatic, and too emotional. But Starfire was raised to show her emotions, to not hide herself away. And it's treated as a good thing!

Basically, I just think it's very cool that there's this amazing woman from the 80s whose: taller than her boyfriend, is muscular, has huge thick curly hair, is emotional, and is very overpowered.
