With @canisalbus's characters Vasco and his QPR wife Ludovica. Consider this a Headcanon but I imagined they were likely set up as like, teens- maybe not fully arranged marriage, but marriage was heavily implied with their courtship. So here I imagine them as like 15/16 which is why they're kind of smaller and scruffier, as well as having their outfit colors a little lightened. Also Ludovica in cute ear bows moment. I THINK this is my first more or less official online artist fan art??? I hope I did them justice.

Just had a thought:

Jumping off off the moments where izuku tried to talk to his peers, Aoyama leaving, feeling like he failed Tenko, losing OFA, and feeling overall disconnected suddenly(at least, we can read between the lines that he is) from his peers and even from his dream...

What if this epilogue includes Izuku considering LEAVING UA? Has anyone else had the thought that he may end up there?

The logic being that once he has no Quirk, he won't fit into the Hero course. And if he represses all of these emotions like we think he is, he might take that to mean that he doesn't deserve a spot in the Hero course, and have the idea to withdraw.

Obviously this all needs to pan out BUT what if this thing with his friends almost blowing him off, just kind of adds to that negative feeling? Like makes him feel a certain way, like they're already moving on without him?

So he comes to a conclusion that maybe he should withdraw. His friends react of course as you expect they would, likely being shocked and sad, but also knowing hes going through a lot, and so trying to be supportive no matter what? They tell him "hey you dont have to, you have a place with us", but ultimately will support his decision without fighting him too hard, as the case with Aoyama seems to be...but it's REALLY KATSUKI who takes it home. Who NEEDS to take it home, and say what the others won't.

It's Katsuki who confronts him, and has to talk him down from the idea.

And what if that's how we get a Kacchan v Deku 3? Which does not have to be, and really needn't be a literal fight.

It just needs to be that long awaited airing out of all of the unspoken feelings, mainly Izukus feelings of failure (failing to protect Katsuki during the war, failing to save Tomura/Tenko, failing to even hold on to his own dream, ie OFA) and what it all means for his future.

How he thinks logically, if his quirk runs out eventually, he can't be Quirkless in the Hero class. How that dashes all hopes of staying a Pro Hero in the future...

Maybe even what he is thinking about society and pro heroism as a whole now!

Katsukis got to convince him that He is a hero, deserves to be a hero more than anyone. Maybe even concedes that even if the dream of being a hero traditionally speaking has changed, there are so many other ways he can continue making a difference.

How much of a difference he has already made.

And that is when it gets personal, and katsuki confesses further, "you've made all the difference in the world to me already" or something. Maybe spills some more sentimental feelings. Maybe Izuku finally spills some of his, maybe we get a hand hold and or an embrace....

And katsuki makes him promise that he won't give up yet. And if he has to leave the Hero course, he switch to one of the other courses in UA to continue his dream in another route. And promising to be with him every step of the way.

And maybe idk, suggesting they be Hero Partners and open an agency together or something romantic like that. Lmao.

Throw in maybe a little bit of spice somewhere about Katsuki getting worked up and Izuku having a moment of worry about his heart/health and Katsuki retorting that his heart is fine and not to derail their conversation by "worrying about my stupid heart"

Bonus points if there are tears involved, there usually are lol.

Some notes on Wilson's marriages/divorces, and how he met House:

• House didn't just meet a freshly divorced Wilson. He met barely married Wilson, who just got notified about his #1 divorce by a lawyer, not his wife

• Wilson walked around with papers on hand, long enough to give House a chance to sneak a peek. The same day he received the news. (there's a chance it was some sort of middle step in the divorce procedure, but "just served", checkmate your honor)

• House 100% knew that when he bailed him out. No, I don't have any concrete evidence besides "it's fucking House"

• House had Wilson observed the entire time to know he didn't open the papers. The divorce lawyer prob gave him an idea of what it is, and he was just marinating in the suffering juice

• House had to be nosy and stealthy when he checked the package Wilson clung to, he saw what's written on it

• They didn't actually talk at the conference itself, so House did it silently too

• There was a law firm address on the papers, and you couldn't just google shit then. House's had to remember it to investigate it further, or he already knew of the firm (or it said "BLAH LAW FIRM BLAH HERE'S YOUR DIVORCE PAPERS, LOSER", which is possible)

• Wilson likely opened them in a hotel room (or he looked at the package sadly/angrily there too), needed a drink, and House was at the bar

• House was watching Wilson at that conference, then at the bar, then meltdown over the song, then the whole fight and the mess, then the detention, and was like yeah I'll bail that

• "First words you ever said to me." This is when they first talked, Wilson was in jail and the one in need

• Ok alright, hear me out, if House didn't know what the papers were at the time of bailing. There are 2 paths for him to find out

• Wilson STILL had them on hand in jail

• Or it could be #1 and #2, or #1 and #3. But #3 is pretty much a certainty (he flirts with nurses on screen, House is also there), and it's "them", so why would he randomly stop in the middle? Don't think so

• What's most likely is - #2 and #3. When arguing with Sam (#1) again she didn't mention or allude to the cheating, her problem was that Wilson didn't communicate ANY emotions to her, she even admitted to House she made the most mistakes in that marriage, let's say there's some truth in that

• Wilson either didn't tell Sam about cheating, she didn't have a problem with it, or he lied to Cameron

• OR he didn't cheat on Sam

• He started to cheat after the first divorce AND his marriages started to last longer, which is funnier too

• He could've started cheating prior to House entering the picture, but much more likely - after. Divorce and/or House are the cause

• Speaking of. Meeting House is very tightly linked to the #1 divorce. Every time Wilson would think back on it, he would have to think about all the turmoil and getting bailed by House. And vice versa - every time he'd think back on meeting House...

• btw, he is STILL married while meeting House, so if you hilson 1st-night-fuck truther, that meeting is his cheater origin story in a more practical sense. He then could've really meant all the marriages, but then he lied about telling Sam/Cameron, he might not count it since he's divorcing to tell Sam

• Aftermaths of #2 and #3 aren't really talked about like #1. It must've been really nuclear

Khait overview:

Khait are domesticated bovids. Their wild ancestors were a wildebeest-like antelope standing an average of 48-55 inches at the shoulder, while modern khait exist in a variety of sizes and forms. The majority of riding khait average out at 55-65 inches tall, though exist in small but exceptionally hardy 'pony' forms adapted to harsh terrain, and (much less commonly) as very large draft animals. Their horn shape, coloration, and mane shape/length/texture varies tremendously across the domestic population, as a result of both natural development and active selective breeding.

They were first domesticated on the vast western steppes in a slow process of accommodation to caelin scavenger-nomads that would follow their herds to consume their dead. Their use was initially solely for meat and hides (and being passively ridden by their 20-30lb handlers), and gradually came to encompass carrying packs, plowing, pulling carts, and eventually pulling chariots and being actively ridden when their domestic population came into human and elowey possession. Their ability to carry large riders shaped the trajectory of human and elowey history and spread, and they remain the key and most widespread mounts used by the large mammalian peoples.

Their usage is functionally near identical to horses in real life- most of the domestic population are large, strong animals capable of carrying grown humans on their back, pulling carts and hauling packs, etc - but they have significant behavioral differences to anatomically modern horses (and the small, three toed horses in the setting).

When left to their own devices, mares and their young will form loose, overlapping territories. Females form strong social bonds amongst themselves and their herds may retain the same members for life, but they do not form permanent attachments with males. Young males are driven off by their mothers at adolescence, and will coalesce in bachelor herds until they are mature enough to compete for mating rights. Adult bulls establish their own territories and defend these from other males during the breeding season while females pass through at will.

In captivity, the majority of males will be gelded. Geldings are typically unaggressive and adopt female-esque social behavior, developing strong peer bonds with mixed herds of females and other geldings. Intact adolescent males can be kept together until they are fully mature (4-5 years old), while bulls are typically kept apart from all other intact males (though in practice, many individuals may coexist peacefully if not in the presence of receptive females). An optimal captive setup is to keep a herd of up to 30 females and geldings on the same land as a single intact bull. If breeding is to be avoided, captive herds should be separated into mare and gelding bands during the summer months (ideally with both groups able to see, touch, and smell each other), with the bull kept with the geldings. Fully separating a bull from contact with a herd is damaging to the animal’s health- they are highly social prey animals and will suffer from severe stress if deprived.

Khait maintain social bonds primarily via grooming, spending much of their time at rest meticulously licking each other. This strengthens their bonds and relieves stress and physical discomfort. They retain some juvenile behavioral traits well into adulthood as a byproduct of domestication and will readily engage in social play while at ease- chasing, headbutting, kicking, mud rolling, and scraping dirt with their horns.

Herds maintain stable dominance structures. The dominant individual is typically the eldest mare (though in captive herds a gelding may take this position) while young individuals and immigrant members are at the bottom of the social structure. Hierarchy is maintained through ritualized displays rather than overt aggression, though dominant individuals may be physically aggressive towards unfamiliar khait, and introductions of new animals to a herd must be done cautiously. Bachelor herds have only loose social ties with no real hierarchy, and territorial bulls have no distinct place in the dominance hierarchy of associated herds. Mares are known to frequently mount each other (and geldings) as an aspect of dominance behavior, while bulls are occasionally known to mount other males during socialization and play.

Mares have a seasonal breeding cycle determined by daylight hours (going through estrus cycles in the summer and anestrus in the winter), but their receptive period is far longer than that of their wild ancestors (which would have only bred for a month-long period in late summer) as a byproduct of domestication. Dominant mares get first dibs on breeding and may attempt to prevent low ranking mares from mating (though a bull will usually attempt to mate with all receptive members of the herd).

In the presence of receptive mares, bulls put on elaborate performances to advertise their health and willingness to mate. They aggressively scent mark their surroundings with glands on the hooves and below the eye, urinate with an erection to spray their leg and chest hair, toss their manes, scrape the ground with their hooves, dig out tufts of dirt and grass with their horns, and chase females around with a very silly looking, high stepping trot. When two bulls compete, they will perform these behaviors in each other’s direction while periodically stopping to investigate each other by scent. If one does not back down during this challenge display, they may fight. High intensity fights involve both animals dropping to their knees and locking horns, shoving until one falters or flees. These shoving matches may be physically intense, but are ritualized and rarely result in actual injuries. Bulls are occasionally known to get their horns locked together (particularly in the context of domesticated khait having a variety of horn shapes), which can be fatal if not intervened with, and attempting to untangle two very large, panicked animals can be fraught.

Mares investigate a bull’s condition by observation and scent before allowing a close approach, and may mate with the same male multiple times in one estrus cycle. Gestation lasts about 10 months, and foals are born capable of standing and running within hours. Pregnancies almost always produce one foal, with twin births being very rare but not unknown.

Khait are fully domesticated and come from long lines of ancestors accommodated to extensive handling, but their instincts as prey animals make the process of 'breaking' a khait can be complicated. The halter, bit, and saddle is unsettling for unaccommodated animals, and the sensation of being mounted by a rider resembles being pounced on by a predator and may be distressing. The methods used to train a khait for riding vary tremendously across cultures- existing anywhere on a spectrum between wrestling a yearling down, mounting it, and holding on for dear life until the khait calms (perhaps a briefly traumatic approach, but often necessary to the demands of life in a khait-based nomadic context) to extremely gradual accommodation processes lasting years.

Human (and other sophont) keepers benefit from the khait's proclivity towards dominance hierarchies, but cannot fully fill roles in the khait social system. Khait behavior towards handlers differs strongly from behavior towards other khait, as they conceptualize people as non-threatening predators. However, khait can still form strong and trusting bonds with handlers. A comfortable, healthy, well bonded khait will implicitly trust their handler in matters of watching for predators, and will usually tolerate annoyances in handling that they would otherwise react to aggressively. They will attempt to bond with handlers by grooming (ie: licking them), and are known to produce wholly unique contact calls reserved for their associated sophonts and never used towards other khait. A handler responding to in kind (scratching and brushing, speaking and singing to it) will reinforce this bond, which can last the khait's entire life.

Khait are socially intelligent animals, and adept at reading body language and emotional cues (scent, tone of voice, etc) of the sophonts they are accommodated to. This is partly instinctual behavior developed over generations of living with a specific sophont, but largely a learned process- a khait born to human-accommodated parents growing up with elowey handlers will eventually become 'fluent' in their handler's body language (it just may take longer to do so).

i decided to change a little bit about the bäckahäst humanoid form, and realised that they have some superficial similarities to skogsrå, so heres a thing ironing out their differences a little

i don't know what order to start Dissecting, so i'll just start with:

it's absolutely fascinating how the dynamic Wally & Barnaby had - to my knowledge - before the update, and a dynamic i'd seen speculated elsewhere and generally accepted, has been completed turned on its head

see, given that Wally is the "main character" and Barnaby is classified as "his best friend", i got the feeling that Barnaby kind of... tags along on Wally's 'shenanigans'. that he's the sidekick, the best friend. especially since their dynamic has been previously & briefly described as "Barnaby is very polite to Wally." he's the Companion.

but the audios sorta paint a reverse picture. in the Interview, when Barnaby enters stage right, he completely bowls over Wally's introduction and dominates the interview. when the interviewer asks how the two of them are handling the fame, even outright asking Wally, Barnaby doesn't hesitate to answer the question himself, and only about himself. Wally doesn't get another word in edge-wise until the interviewer explicitly singles Wally out.

(now, an argument could be made that Barnaby knew that Wally was somewhat overwhelmed with all of the questions, and tried to take the reins to give him a reprieve. but, considering that the interview seems to be very early on the possible timeline - like, very soon after Welcome Home debuted - i don't think this is likely. i doubt Barnaby and Wally would've had the time to solidify their dynamic or really get to know each other that well yet)

and Barnaby continues to take point in pretty much all of their other conversations, too. like in the mystery Howdy/Barnaby/Wally audio, their interaction gives off the vibes that Wally is Barnaby's sidekick, his tag-along.

(on a related tangent, it's fascinating how the website described the episodes as "[beginning] with Wally introducing the focus or theme for the day before coming across other characters who would join him on his escapades until the end of the day." but from pretty much everything we've seen so far, it seems like He's the one who's just along for the ride, bouncing from neighbor shenanigan to neighbor shenanigan instead of having his own adventures.

of course, if the 14 audios are present time, which is honestly somewhat likely, this could be because the show isn't running. they aren't doing episodes - they're just existing, doing their things. no need for Wally to take point in any way shape or form. tangent over)

in the 14 audios with Barnaby, he doesn't even acknowledge Wally until the very end - which, of course, could be because that's how the scenes are set up. except that in some of them, the characters do directly acknowledge Wally's presence outside of the endings. Eddie in 5-14, Howdy and Poppy in 1-14, and Frank in 4-14 (technically, since he was infodumping to Wally at the very start before Barnaby interrupted). you'd think that a guy would try to include his best friend a little more!

maybe i'm reading into it too much. & given what we know about Wally as a character, it would make sense for Barnaby to be the go-getter Main Guy of the two. but it really seems like its Barnaby & Wally instead of Wally & Barnaby. he's just kinda... there. going along with whatever Barnaby is up to.

but also, on the other side of things - & it's occurring to me as i type this, it's interesting how in a lot of audios, Barnaby seems to seek Wally out. in "Just So", he shows up to fetch Wally. in 4-14, Barnaby interrupts Frank and Wally's gardening session, almost as if he's stopping by to check on his little buddy. in 7-14, Barnaby calls Julie's house (presumably) searching for Wally, or at least checking in once again. something to consider in all of this!

So I don’t think Gerrard knows about BT - we’ve only been shown him acknowledging (in a derogatory way) that Tommy is gay. But while buck was in the scene, so too was Chim and nothing was indicated about Bucks sexuality - so I don’t think Gerrard knows he’s bi.

So what if we get Buck and Eddie being all flirty work husbands and Gerrard sees them behaving as they always have and he tries to call Eddie out for being inappropriate and gay in the firehouse. Eddie just takes it but Buck isn’t having any of it (slashing his neck at Buck to cut it out and let it drop) and tries to defend Eddie. Gerrard gets mad at the insubordination and calls a line up - where he proceeds to go for Eddie with the wild orange packet. - calling him both racist and homophobic slurs (in a way that’s not quite over the line enough to get himself fired because he might be hideous but he’s not stupid) hence Bucks clenched fists as he can’t say or do anything.
