Doey headcanons bc my son is crying

Doey cries offscreen and when he does, his tears are either red, yellow or orange based on what hes feeling: angry + crying = kevin (red), sad + crying = jack (yellow), emptiness or burnout or regrets + crying = matthew (orange) he usually cries during the first months after the hour of joy

Kevin—the kid/humanoid with the angry eyes in Doey's monster form—glows the brightest among the three cuz he's consumed by anger (ik it doesnt exist in his model but imagine💔)

Altho its already shown thru a tape, Doey often does self-therapy and self-talking to comfort himself whenever he's distressed. Since he's the role model of the safe haven (after poppy was captured), he was always expected to remain calm in most situations. And he does it so well that almost no one can sense whether he's stressed or not. He may also not talk much about his feelings cuz he doesnt want to cause any more distress among the already distressed toys.

Blud is ALWAYS confused at what he should feel or think but he just hides it well in the game. And before being promoted as the leader, he mightve always answered "i dont know" to most questions he has no knowledge to answer to or whenever he's in a new situation. Jack is panicking badly but Matthew also tries to calm him down and take reign of Doey. Until anger reaches his head for Kevin to move,,,,, He's just as distressed as the other toys, he was just used to it

He hugs himself cuz he has no one to hug 😭😭😭 he's often outside, searching for scraps of food

He prolly hates himself too, adding his confusion with himself

He's eating other toys, his remorse or mercy for them is gone (idk if he felth what riley felt durinv his first days)

One of the kids hate cold weather

Depending on what he feels (goofy/sad, angry, calm), the one or two hand colors on his body would be more saturated than the other

He likes to play pretend kitchen and tea time with some toys whenever they have freetime. He also lets the toys use his clay to create and mold things

He sometimes says "mommy", "daddy" and "home" out loud without realizing it and the toys would just stare at him flabbergasted

He likes to be the leader but he also doesnt like it

He has so much pent up fustration and rage

He's like the "forced to be a parent" child

When kevin is inactive, he would sometimes playfully call some workers as "mom" or "dad" to mess with them and get some good laughs (he thinks jumpscares are funny) He def did mess with their hearts

Doey and kissy are the best characters so far, too bad we had to kill doey😔

Also, ngl the sounds of vehicles that i hear outside reminds me of Pianosaurus' sounds😭 rlly disappointed that we didnt get to see much of this bud🕯️

Also i have a lil bit of observation for the experiments nos. Those with 1100 to 1199 seem to have no ability to talk while those above 1200 have it so. Meaning their experiments were getting more advanced and painful😭😭 (1006 aint counter cuz he has some kind of robotic voice box mimicker)

So whenever I try to shift I feel demotivated. During the day I am soo motivated (but too busy to actually try n shift) and when I go to sleep I am just like "meh.. yeah Ima try" but I aint really focused ya' know? How to fix that? ok welder curly exist in the context that him and pony live together and r adults, let that b known!!!

•curly has sooooo many burn marks, pony always scolds him for not being more careful. he comes home and says “if we wanna keep having matching scars u gotta come down to the shop w me”

•since roofers and welders r part of construction, curly thought he had a one way ticket to getting closer w darry and in a way????he is???? darry doesnt mind construction talk but hes not passionate about it, meanwhile curly is passionate about welding so he goes on and on about it, darry is warming up to curly so he lets him

•ponys heard about all the things welding can do to ur body, and he FORCES curly to buy more gear, if not for his safety at least for ponys sake. curly gets teased about it at his work and curly says “its for the missus”

•YKNOW WHAT RLLY FASCINATES CURLY ABOUT THE JOB?? the colors on the metal when hes done w his work, he doesnt talk about it cause he thinks that sounds way too corny so when ppl ask, he just says hes in it for the fire aspect of the job, which isnt wrong, he totally is

•he makes the dumbest fucking faces under his mask, thats when u know hes in the zone, it kinda looks like the fuck boy face, pony knows about it and thinks its the funniest thing ever, bc he does it when sometbing is even remotely CLOSE to welding, like putting ketchup on his food, like dude what r u DOING

•curly is making BANK, like for a good long while hes making more than pony and he makes it KNOWN!!! curlys paycheck is used for necessities like rent, food, yada yada yada so when pony acts up curly will loudly say “what r u doin using MY _____”

•pony joked and called welding “metal sewing” and curly didnt talk to him the rest of the night

•curlys set fire to his clothes MULTIPLE times without even knowing it, he just thought he was warming up cause it was hot in his uniform but nope, his clothes were on fire and for that reason he wears the ugliest clothes he has to work

•as attractive as pony thinks curly looks in his uniform he cant exactly tell him apart from everyone else, pony had to go over curlys place to give him his lunch he left over and ended up being late to his next destination cause he couldnt find the mf. after that day pony took curlys mask and gave it a lil design tweak so he KNEW he was talking to curly

•hes REALLY good at his job btw, i mean that, hes one of the bosses favs bc of his work and attitude

•curlys accidentally blinded a couple insects bc they were right near him when he was welding and he aint shoo them away, he does them a favor and just kills em, they will notttt survive in the wild😭

•curly loves making decorations for the house, he does it to save money AND impress pony (and others too ig🙄🙄), so far hes made a flower, wall hooks, a dragon wall sculpture, just a simple pice of metal w his and ponys name melted into it (that was his first tume testing out welding) and a wine rack (for a friend’s wife)

•as much as he likes it, i dont think its something he could do for the rest of his life, he would like to live a decently healthy life believe it or not

you know it rlly baffles me that les mis still doesn't have a proper animated movie (like the closest thing we have to that is the shoujo cosette series, which i rlly like dont get me wrong, and i think there are several low budget animated les mis kid movies too?)

like considering hunchback of notre dame got its own animated movie adaptation (by disney out of all too), even tho its very inaccurate retelling and kinda throws the book's entire plot out of the window its still such a good animated movie and i wish les mis got the same treatment in the animation department (not by disney tho cuz u just know they would probably make javert into a straight up evil villain, make the les amis into one dimensional characters and/or god forbid make enjolras and eponine a couple, cuz according to some ppl that poor girl can only get her happy ending if she gets a man)

i was thinking mostly about something in the style of ghibli or maybe don bluth if he still made movies (or literally any other 2D animation studio, i aint picky) like just imagine how gorgeous would the scenes be and the music too! It would probably be impossible to put the entire story of the brick into the movie but i personally think it could work, i wouldnt mind a 3 hour long les mis animated movie!

Or if the movie style rlly doesn't work well for les mis i'd gladly be satisfied with an animated series, each episode focusing on a section of the brick (basically shoujo cosette on a bigger budget, with more focus on the side characters, plus with more stylized animation and actual music numbers lol), les mis would work so well in animated environment i just wish some studio would actually be willing to do it.

ok this is what RLLY bothers me abt kyle in modern south park ESPECIALLY in seasons 24-26 and i think a lot of people are getting annoyed with this shit too. i hate how they’ve been showing repeatedly how cartman’s getting better and acting nicer in the new episodes so like why TF is kyle still being a dick to him and treating him like a monster???? i mean for YEARS kyle has been going out of his way to help cartman and change cartman and making it clear he wants cartman to be a better person and make better choices, so then when cartman finally does he’s just like 😴. like idc if u ship kyman or not it’s rlly out of character for kyle. they’re still canonically close friends so it feels like a missed opportunity for character development on kyle’s end for them not to show kyle reciprocating or appreciating cartman doing better. i guess it’s bc matt & trey are trying to show kyle has been the toxic one and the jealous snake friend all along, but still even tho kyle is an asshole they don’t have to make him THAT big of an asshole. i think a lot of people like seeing kyle’s caring codependent side come out bc that’s the good side of kyle as a person how big-hearted and empathetic he can be. and there def have been some modern episodes where they DO get this right like especially in “the streaming wars” when kyle helped cartman out with his mom’s ‘surgery’ (even tho kyle deadass only helps cartman or feels bad for him when cartman is lying just to fuck himself over which i had talked abt before how he always gets the timing wrong with cartman for those who are caught up on your wendytestabrat lore). i also feel like an episode that DEF got things right with kyle was “help my teenager hates me” from s25. i loved that moment where cartman was crying abt how everything sucks and he lives in a hot dog and kyle is just like “ru okay cartman?” like bitch we need more moments like THAT. even if kyman doesn’t happen, idc like i just wanna see more moments of kyle being a good friend to cartman back (bc they def have given us A LOT of moments of cartman being there for kyle) is that too much to ask? but yeah in the images i used above are from the specials “post covid” (part 1), “south parq vaccination special”, “not suitable for children” and “joining the panderverse” and in literally every single one of these specials kyle’s being a dick and jumping down cartman’s throat when he aint doing anything wrong lol. in post covid he’s all mad at cartman for being a rabbi, even tho we all know cartman wasn’t faking it and was genuinely happy. in “south parq vaccination special” he gets all pissy throughout the whole thing when all cartman is trying to do is save the broship, in “not suitable for children” he’s getting all mad at cartman for making his own cred affinity group which last i checked aint a crime (and we all know he was just mad bc cartman wasn’t letting him in the group), and in “joining the panderverse” he’s getting all mad and annoyed over cartman being replaced by a black woman and he acts like cartman is making it up even tho cartman was telling the truth and there was this real parallel universe shit happening. like this shit needs to stop it’s getting soooo old and all it’s doing is making kyle unlikable af and annoying everyone who used to love kyle lol. like ok we get it matt & trey kyle can be just as toxic as cartman, now can we also see that he can be just as caring and nice as cartman too?

im thinking about loop. as usual. but today im putting a fun spin on things and thinking specifically about my botw au loop.

heres my original drawing of them from last year + another image for cropping. it feels pretty self-evident to me but this may be an instance of the one xqcd comic. about accidentally assuming what is common knowledge.

so. loop is fi. fi from skyward sword not breath of the wild yes. heres a little lesson on the zelda timeline for those of you who havent read the hyrule historia book cover to cover.

pre skyward sword—there is a manga in the back of hyrule historia about the first hero. the one before sksw link, who is the "first hero". this actual (non-canon, probably) first hero was wrongfully imprisoned for vaguely specified reasons that i dont remember and thus wasnt really able to do his hero things. i guess. and hylia (not zelda yet) who was in love with him . well shes important i dont rlly remember how shes relevant to this link specifically. but link sacrifices himself for the good of the people and hylia sends up the sky islands that would later become skyloft and others. because theres a war happening i forgot to mention that. i think the master sword is relevant but can you tell its been a while since ive read this. because it has.

and now the master sword. i havent actually finished sksw and dont know the whole story even though i really. should by now. but i know the basics. fi is the spirit of the master sword and i think she was made by hylia to aid in that whole war i mentioned. or something like that. shes only present in sksw but technically shes in botw too bc the master sword speaks to zelda and uses her little chime and like. obviously thats a callback to sksw.

so. loop.

loop in this au is the first hero. kiind of. theyre more of the chosen hero (sksw) in terms of story elements but first hero in terms of like, situation? this gets into a lot of the Lore which ii wont explain. bc that would like triple the length of this post. but BASICALLY the rundown of the situation is that Loop is in a Situationship (aka messy QPR) with Change's First Chosen (aka Mirabelle); Chosen gets nabbed by the first King; Loop sacrifices themself to save her. the Chosen then puts Loop's soul in their sword bc of how much she cares for them. and maybe kills the King with it for dramatic effect.

and then the Universe and Change God are so moved* by this they decide if it aint broke dont fix it. and thus begins the Cycle.

(*the universe just saw a Situation that tied itself up in a neat bow while also progressing things and was like yeah ok lets just keep doing that. and change went along with it bc they were actually moved by it. and wanted to play toys)

SO. now Loop is in the sword. dead. tragic. aand (fast forward several thousand years and heroes (and theres one in particular they remember so well. they dont speak of him. he doesnt matter anymore.)) here comes a Siffrin who. also dies! but gets to come back and try again. because life just isnt fair i guess. and this motherfucker is so useless (helpless) and doesnt know anything and they cant just watch it all go wrong again so. they break their several thousand year silence and help him.

eyelashes: top were from local beauty supply, bottom lashes were like. wet n wild crap i got from a relative that i chopped up.

gray paint: mehron paradise, get it from the OG website if u dont need it quickly and want it a lil cheaper

fangs: cheap amazon bullshit. u can find fangs in bulk anywhere there no matter the seller theyre all from the same manufacturer so u always know ur getting cheap fucking crap

wig: CHEAP lace front from some beauty store clearance bin in DC, styled to hell and back

horns: made by meeee (model magic + modge podge/plaster outrecoat bcs model magic cracks like a bitch, i only use the low tier acrylics bcs who the fuck is gonna pay 20$ for a tube of something u can just layer a few times to get opaque)

armsocks: welovecolors (spraypainted w white cos i bought the dark gray instead if light gray like a dumbass, heavily abused). i highly reccomend welovecolors seamless armsock/seamless bodysuit line im trying to get their bodysuit at some point. expensive (45$ for the socks, 90$ for the bodysuit) but worth it bcos homemade armsocks rip stupid easily and id rather break my skull than paint my hands.

nails: cheap shit from sallys, painted w my mommas 10+ year old nail polish collection

i think thats it? yeah. its all cheap crap. all i can reccomend is find a local non-chain non-christianity based thrift store and go to town man . im not out here buying premade bullshit that i aint able to make myself! i dont ever spend a fortune on my cosplays. i find scarcity is key in innovation and creativity. use lots of safety pins. cheers.

alright closing umineko for the night!! i had a great time with it so far!! i really like the writing style, and for the most part its actually a lot less dense than i was expecting. i havent met beatrice yet but im looking forward to it she looks super neat.

i also apperciate how slow burn this is, a few hours in and very little has happened yet it's nice. there's already a lot building but like. nothing big yet it's nice. i like it. it feels like it's moving at exactly the pace it wants to and i enjoy it a lot. the sound design is also rlly good. the music is really nice a couple times i got distracted and just listened to it in the bg. the sfx r nice too.

i do not regret my sprite choice i like these designs they're fun, but i do think maria looks a little off for her alleged age of 9, but it's easy to ignore after a min or two.ironically when i was loading the game and saw her on the steam page it def aligned better, but at the cost battler to my eyes is now yassified. he cant be a pretty boy to me he's too lame.

voice acting is great everyones putting fucking everyting into it and i enjoy that. fully commited to the enviroment and its great.

where i left off: everyone just finished having lunch! kumasawa covered for shannon not knowing the red sauce's ingredients. that's all for now! not sure when ill paly more, probably tomorrow, but its been good!! good game so far i like this setg up!! im also eagar to get more into the murder and violence and witch stuff but like, it does a good joib of setting up the characters so i dont feel impatient, and unlike a lot of games w/ murder n mystery that get right into it i kinda find it refreshing how slow this one is to start its like we all know itll get there so the tension of everyone being relatively calm is great.

it would also be so epic to have mutations like having a piebald pup!! aionguedbhklwsuv i have SOOO MANY IDEAS like a 'rp mode' in multiplayer servers where ur able to play as a puppy or special rp-only emotes like stretching, shaking or play fighting/roughhousing! and maybe even splitting players into diff packs (maybe being able to attack the other players- if in a diff pack XD)
