I would love an Eddie request of him with inexperienced reader but it's not smut it's like the convo leading up to it like May be they start making out and it's getting steamy and she tells him she's a virgin and she's terrified bc what if she's bad at sex and then it's not good for him? What if he sees her naked and thinks she's not pretty?? And it's just Eddie comforting her and reassuring her

The old springs in Eddie’s mattress dig into your back, an occasional squeak emanating from them whenever your boyfriend shifts his weight on top of you. His tongue dances with yours, breath colliding and teeth grazing. Eddie encompasses all your senses, surrounding you wholly and leaving no room to think about anything else but him–if your brain can even manage to think at all with strong, calloused hands running over your body. 

His warm fingers trail up the outside of your leg, leaving goosebumps in their wake. The moment Eddie’s hand slips up your shorts on the front of your thigh though, your body goes from pure ecstasy to adrenaline-pumping nerves in an instant.

An involuntary jump of your body against his alerts Eddie that something’s wrong and he immediately pulls away to gaze down at you in concern.

“Are you okay?”

Though it’s clearly not the truth, you nod your head. Slowly, you scoot yourself out from beneath his body and sit up against the cheap mahogany headboard that’s caused a multitude of scratches against the dully painted trailer wall. 

“C-Can we talk for a second though?”

There’s worry in Eddie’s eyes. He’s terrified that he’s done something wrong or has hurt you in some way. Taking care to give you some space, your boyfriend situates himself to sit next to you on his bed, back also resting against the chipped and scuffed headboard.

“Of course, sweetheart,” Eddie says. “What’s going on?”

Tentatively, Eddie offers you his hand, resting it between the two of you. He’s leaving the decision up to you if you want to touch him right now or not. There’s no hesitation though, you eagerly lace your fingers with his. 

You give him a nervous smile, a million thoughts running through your head at once. It’ll be a miracle if you can speak coherently with the rate at which your mind is moving. Deciding to just bite the bullet and get it all out there, you take a deep breath.

“Um, I’m—I’m a virgin, Eddie.”

Whatever reaction you were planning on Eddie to have, he doesn’t give it to you. He seems completely unfazed by your admission. All you get is a nod of his head and a gentle squeeze of your hand. 

“Okay,” he says casually, as if your entire body isn’t running on nervous energy at the moment. “We can go as slow as you want, yeah?”

You know your body should feel relief, but the worry in your head tells you that you’ve only gotten through part of what you need to tell him. Might as well push through to the end.

“I’m…scared,” you admit. Shame floods your body, chilling your veins.

“Of me?” Eddie’s eyes widen and the alarm in them is clear.

“No!” You quickly assure him. “No, no, never of you.”

He heaves a sigh of relief, and you cup his hand in both of yours. Out of all the things that make you anxious about having sex with Eddie, Eddie is not one of them. But that means you have to tell him that you’re the problem. If your anxiety has one mortal nemesis in the world it is vulnerability. 

“I’m scared that I’ll be bad at it,” you admit. “I don’t know what I’m doing. What if you don’t like it? What if I mess up?” What if you don’t like how I look beneath my clothes?

“Whoa, whoa,” Eddie says with a shake of his head. The crease in his forehead shows his displeasure with the pressure you’re putting on yourself. “First of all, I don’t think you can really mess up sex, sweetheart. As long as you’re here and your clothes are off, I’d say we’re good to go.” He chuckles, but when you don’t join in, he sighs. “Are you honestly worried that I won’t like it?”

Unable to look him in the eye, you nod. His forehead furrows further as Eddie frowns. Usually, you’d rub your thumb over those wrinkles to smooth them out and calm him down. But usually, you’re not the cause of them. 

Gentle fingers grip your chin and tilt your face so you can look at him.

“Princess, it’s you. I love doing everything with you, you really think I won’t like having sex with you?”

When he puts it like that, you feel silly. Heat blooms in your face as embarrassment is scooped on top of the nerves. There are legitimate concerns, though. You’re sure of it. There has to be.

“W-What if you don’t like what my body looks like?” You ask it so quietly in the hope that he misses it.

It’s obvious that he doesn’t by the way his eyes nearly pop out of his head. He reminds you of one of those stress dolls that you squeeze and the small plastic eyes bulge out.

“Not like your body?” Eddie sounds almost incredulous. He pauses for a moment, eyes gazing into yours as he thinks of a reply. It feels like the understatement of the century to say he was unprepared for you to be worried about this; about something that he whole-heartedly knew to be untrue. A smile quirks Eddie’s mouth as his mind goes back to a day before you’d started dating. He licks over his lips before continuing. “Sweetheart, remember the pool party Jeff threw for his birthday last summer? You wore that low-cut, blue one-piece that showed off most of your back?”

Do you remember? You had agonized over what you should wear to that party and what Eddie would think when he saw you. 

“Yeah,” you tell him, voice quivering. 

“Babe,” he says with a shake of his head. “I still get off thinking about that. About how you looked. There was a reason I had to stay in the pool past the point of me freezing half to death in the water.”

Shock colors your face, and despite the gravity of the conversation, it makes Eddie smile wider.

“You…really?”

“Yes,” Eddie says with a breathless chuckle. “God, you’re so fucking hot. You’re gorgeous. It bothers me that you don’t see that.”

If there’s one thing you can say about your boyfriend, it’s that he’s very candid about his view on things–just ask anyone who’s had the pleasure of hearing him make a grand speech from atop a lunch table. Which is most of the high school-aged population in Hawkins.

Half of your brain is trying to convince you that now is the time he chooses to lie, that he’s just saying this to make you feel better or to shut you up. Meanwhile, the other half is telling the anxiety to put a sock in it and listen to Eddie.

“What’re you thinking?” Eddie asks quietly. A reminder of how well he knows you.

“Too much,” you say with a soft laugh. 

Eddie lets out a long breath and gently pulls you into his lap. He absentmindedly rests his hands on your thighs and his thumbs rub calming circles on your skin.

“What can I do to make you feel better?” he asks. Needing to show you physically how much he wants to help you, he snakes his arms around your body to hold you snugly against him. Your heart all but melts as he looks up at you with those large, puppy dog eyes.

With a small smile, you lean down and rest your forehead against your boyfriend’s. Sometimes he’s too cute for his own good. 

“You already have,” you say softly.

“What? How?” Eddie’s frowning again, but this time it's in confusion.

“Just by being you,” you tell him with a shrug.

“Well, I am pretty great,” Eddie says with a playful smirk. Your heart feels lighter once the stress lines fade from his beautiful face. 

You chuckle at his ego and sit back up straight.

“There is one more thing you could do for me, though.”

“What’s that, beautiful?”

There’s a hungry gleam in your eyes as you let your gaze trail up and down his lithe body. 

“Take off your shirt.”

Things I Liked About the Agatha All Along Finale - Initial Thoughts

Wooooo boy. Hey look I'm a bleeding heart shipper but I'm old and have been in enough fandoms. Let's process shall we?

Alice! Alice echo-ing what so many fans are saying about her lost potential. Rio actually being kind in reminding Alice her death did have purpose. "You're a protection witch, you protected someone."

The development of Billy's extremely complicated relationship with Agatha. Kid's not loyal to Agatha, he's understanding her, or starting to at least. He sees her being a relationship with Death and he's curious about the story there. He cares enough to connect the dots and see Agatha as a full person. And we see that developed as the finale goes.

"That's it? That's all the time that I get?" The show reminds us that death sometimes just happens – "Sometimes boys die" – I wonder if one of these writers is a Sandman fan because I immediately clocked a parallel to Death of the Endless taking a baby's life in her first comic appearance.

Death of the Endless is of course much kinder than Rio is with her (iconic) reply to that eternal question. "You lived what anyone gets... A lifetime."

That whole convo we got in the preview clip. And then them just sitting down and talking more? Albeit with layers of manipulation but y'know that's them.

Agatha telling Rio that she'll hand over Billy if Rio leaves her alone: essentially making Rio once again choose between her duty and her feelings towards Agatha. The deepest cut Agatha could make – which we see echoed with "If you do this I'll hate you forever." They know each other and the best ways to hurt each other.

I laughed waaaay too much at Agatha ragging on Jen's last vegetable name.

Jen's unbinding ritual was powerful and a fantastic moment for the character. She recognised and embraced her power. Agatha's mask slipping a little at the end as well. Amazing. Sasheer killed it.

The whole scene with Agatha working with Billy to bring Tommy back was beautiful and emotional and well put together and showed the side to Agatha that cements her as a great mentor (when she's not being the biggest murderous asshole).

Agatha using what she learnt from her Alice and Jen – and what Lilia told her – to hold her ground with Rio... okay it lasted like 10 seconds but it was a nice callback! Agatha's such a shameless survivor.

Incredible kissing. We knew Hahn and Plaza would deliver and they did. When it comes to kissing women, these two absolutely go for it.

Rio looking absolutely gutted with having to take Nicky away. Plaza really delivered with Rio's pain in these eps. Agatha calling her "my love", cursing and then begging.

Rio being soft about Nicky despite her job. Nicky willingly going with her with no fear, no hesitation – suggesting that they did bond somehow? Nicky knew she was a friendly face and trusted her. It was really a good death, all things considered. He wasn't sick, he wasn't in pain, he wasn't scared he simply fell asleep and just went.

Rio reminding Nicky to kiss his mom goodbye. She cares so much, as much as a personification of death can. It's funny how some people thought Rio was going to be this manipulative big bad but no, Agatha's the more toxic one in this relationship.

Okay like imagine Agatha finally dying and just straight up BOOKING it before Rio pops up. Rio hates ghosts. The number of times Agatha deliberately pissed her off this finale was amazing.

"I'm sure he'll forgive you for... whatever you did." Aw Billy is a good kid. Just like Nicky was. Agatha needs that reminder, that anchor to not be the Worst.

Chemistry aside, Agatha and Billy being mentor-pupil makes a ton of sense because these Maximoffs do the most fucked up shit (unintentionally) with their magic and Agatha's got the knowledge, charisma, cynicism, and the morals of a spinning compass to support him.

Alright when are they announcing the sequel / spin-off? I know there's a rumour of it happening. Rio's got 2 abominations and one endlessly aggravating ghost of an ex to deal with now.

You two, as well as Chris and Nick, have been friends since you were kids. You all love each other a lot and you and Matt always had a special bond. He would help you when you were overthinking and stuff and you would do the same for him.

C - Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He would absolutely adore cuddles. He always wants to be cuddling with you. He loves when you just lay on his chest and he plays with your hair.

D - Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He is good at cooking and cleaning but, because he does the laundry at his house with Nick and Chris, he would mainly want to do the laundry. Also, he would want to settle down eventually but not yet, he thinks you both are too young.

E - Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

First of all, if he was to do it, it would never be over text. He hates people who break up with their partners over text because the thinks it’s really disrespectful. He would be very respectful about it and would make sure to tell you that it’s not your fault, unless it is obviously. He would be very honest about why he is doing it because he would never want to leave you questioning anything.

F - Fiancé (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Matt is definitely committed to you and would want to get married eventually but, as I said earlier, he wouldn’t want to rush it and he would definitely want to date you for a while before committing to anything marriage wise because he wants to make sure you’re his person.

G - Gentle (How gentle are they, physically and emotionally?)

He is the most gentle person ever, like actually. He’s so sweet to you. Physically and emotionally. If you’re having a bad day, he’s always there for you and he’ll pull some intense words of wisdom out of somewhere and, let’s say you hurt yourself, he’ll immediately help you and then when he’s sure that you’re alright, he’ll die laughing.

H - Hugs (Do they like hugs? What are their hugs like? How often do they do it?)

As I said on C (cuddles), he loves cuddly type stuff. If he can’t physically lie down in bed with you and hold you, he will hug you. If you’re busy, he’ll give you a sweet little hug from behind and put his head on your shoulder. Or if he really wants a hug, he’ll hold you so close and just shower you with love.

I - I love you (How fast do they say that they love you?)

If you guys were friends before hand, I feel like you would have said ‘I love you’ already because, from their YouTube videos, they are very appreciative of their friends and they aren’t afraid to show their love and respect for them. If you weren’t friends before, I feel like it wouldn’t be that much of a big step for Matt but there’s a good chance he’d want you to say it first.

J - Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

I feel like Matt wouldn’t get jealous that easily but if someone crosses the line, he is getting mad jealous. He’s probably not the type to like scream and yell and make a scene and shit but he would make it obvious by his body language and mannerisms. He’d be more quiet and closed off and maybe even a bit passive aggressive.

K - Kisses (What are their kisses like?)

His kisses are very sweet and gentle but if you’re doing some more intimate things or even if he’s just feeling touchy, his kisses would be a bit more passionate and heated. His favourite place to kiss you would probably either be your forehead or your lips.

L - Little ones (How are they around children?)

He’s very sweet with kids and he’d love to he around them. He can’t help but smile at the sound of a baby laughing or if a kid just sounds really happy but he can sometimes have a little bit of impatience with them if it’s like a toddler and they’re just not listening to anything he tells them. He wouldn’t raise his voice but you can tell after a while that his patience is wearing a little thin.

M - Morning (What are mornings with them like?)

You probably wake up before him because mf sleeps till like 12 but you would just lay in bed with him for a bit, playing with his hair and scrolling on TikTok or something and then, after a while, you’d probably get up and make breakfast for both of you. When he finally wakes up, he will thank you for the breakfast and you will cuddle in bed for a while before he can be arsed to get up.

N - Night (What are nights with them like?)

You and Matt would stay up until god knows when doing the most random shit. He will play Fortnite and you’ll just watch him or you’ll lay in bed and watch a movie together but when you’re both feeling tired and you’re ready to go to sleep, you’ll put something on the TV to just play in the background and fall asleep in each others arms, leaving the TV playing.

O - Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or do they wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

As I said, I’d you guys were friends before you got together, you’d probably already know a lot of stuff about him but if you weren’t friends before, he would probably try to take his time but you’d be having a late night talk or something and shit would get deep and he’d just say pretty much everything.

P - Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Matt is easily the most chill out of the triplets but he still gets angry because, you know, he’s a normal human being. He’d try his best to be as patient with you as he can but if you’re purposefully being defiant or if Nick and Chris have pissed him off, he might be a bit more easily irritable.

Q - Quizzes (How much do they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail about you or are they more forgetful?)

Matt is very protective of you and he would hate to see a single negative thing happen to you. He would make sure that you feel safe and secure at all times, physically and emotionally. I also think that Matt would much prefer to protect you than have you protect him because, although he’s always with Nick and Chris, he can definitely handle himself, or at least he thinks he can. If he ever needs protection, it’s pretty much only emotionally. He’s want to just have you hold him and soothe all of his worries with a back rub and some insightful words.

Obviously, Matt is a very busy man when it comes to work and stuff and also because he’s back and forth between Boston and LA so there would be periods of time where you can’t see each other, he would try to take you to Boston with you though if you were with them in LA because his parents love you, but even when you’re apart, you’ll call every day and when you’re together, when he’s not doing work related things, he’s always trying his hardest to do nice things for you and spend some quality time together.

As we all know, Matt struggles with anxiety so I feel like he would have a habit of overthinking everything when it comes to your relationship. It doesn’t really affect your relationship much because all he needs is a little bit of reassurance and a big hug but sometimes you feel like he doesn’t fully trust you but he does, he just has a habit of overthinking and he needs that little bit of extra security when he is feeling this way.

In retrospect, he doesn’t mind that much but he always wants to look his best. If his hair looks messed up, he’ll fix it or if he thinks his outfit doesn’t look good, he’ll change but, honestly, he doesn’t really care that much. If he is ever feeling not the best about himself, he will just remind himself that he has a loving family and girlfriend who adore him just the way he is.

I feel like he would feel quite out of place if he hasn’t seen you in a while, like if he’s in Boston or something, but it would be 10x worse if you’ve known each other since childhood or something.

Mild Venom: The Last Dance spoilers

One thing I think would’ve made TLD better even if it had the same plot and ended the same way is more reciprocal affection.

I think the biggest problem of the movie symbrock-wise is that all affectionate/romantic scenes are mostly from Venom. Eddie seems to just be tolerating Venom most of the time. They’re suppose to be ride or die at this point. They’re suppose to be best friends he said it himself! I think if more scenes showed Eddie’s love or at least fondness for Venom, then more fans would be happier with the movie.

To be clear tho, I didn’t hate the movie but I do think it’s a step down from how their relationship was previously. Obviously I wasn’t expecting it to be so explicit with loving pet names and sloppy make outs but more implied in the way the previous movies did it.

Some examples I came up with for Eddie loving venom moments (actual spoilers):

Eddie complaining to the bartender that his fun vacation time with his “friend” was interrupted when they got punted into Marvel universe instead of talking about thanos and meta humans and how annoying aliens are. I want to believe they had fun in Mexico!!

Eddie smiling (and being grateful!!!) when Venom made him a cocktail. Also he shouldn’t have a headache venom can heal him.

When Venom says “You always take me to the best places” Eddie replies with “anything for you, bud” (but make it sound like babe)

More bonding over stuff they’d do in New York. Eddie can talk about food and Venom asks if there are bad guys there and Eddie says They can be the lethal protector there

More scenes in the Casino!!! It was so short :((

They should’ve tried to cheat at cards at least to show they also have a mind bond. It could’ve been cool or funny!!

A woman trying to hit on Eddie but he gets awkward and rejects her cause “I’m here with someone”

Mrs Chen could mention Ann and Dan are married and Eddie is happy for them but implied he’s sad cause he can’t marry venom

While separated in the Area 51 lab, Eddie is significantly distressed about it and talks about feeling hollow inside or like with a missing limb

Eddie should’ve been given the option to sacrifice Venom save himself and the world. But he CHOOSES NOT TO he says “but I need him” like the trailer suggested!!!

Have Eddie explain to the scientist women what being with venom is like and how he makes him feel (like the end of the first movie). Not only is this sweet but will allow the scientists to be more sympathetic towards symbrock and explains their willingness to help them and also to bond with the other symbiotes later in the movie

Have Venom apologize for hardships he put Eddie through and have Eddie assure him he’d do it all again if given the choice

Have Eddie shed a tear (at least 1!!!) when he wakes up without venom for the last time

The rest of these are more significant changes to the movie but still in keeping with the general plot:

Venom should’ve kept the codex a secret for a while and just told Eddie the xenophage was just revenge for the symbiotes imprisoning knull or something

Eddie can tell venom is acting strange and suspects he is hiding something (like in the comics re: their pregnancy)

The codex truth is revealed after the dance with Mrs Chen when they get attacked by a xenophage but before they get separated and taken to Area 51 leading to the sacrifice venom convo

When they reunite, venom admits he kept it a secret cause he was afraid Eddie would leave him but Eddie reassures him it’s them til the end

The rest of the movie plays out the same. But I think these choices would’ve really solidified their bond. It would’ve been more painful at the end but more satisfying!!! If you wanna make angsty tragedy then go all the way don’t half ass it

So I edited this post a few times since what I wanted to convey just couldn't come out, and then I stumbled across this explanation.

To continue with my own thoughts.

I'm not sure where the takes of Mel is more than Jayce's girlfriend or being reduced to just being at a man's side is coming from that is being spouted.... Meljay shippers know this?

People are annoyed and confused to see what was set up from S1 until S2 Act 1 and the sudden a disconnect of how we got to know the relationship was handled and their final conversation. Most of us would've been fine (I know I would) with the breakup if it wasn't so off and lackluster.

It didn't feel like Mel and Jayce, granted they went through the trenches both physically and mentally, but that understanding is only being applied to Jayce in how he behaves. Mel is just a bystander and has to take it, and she was never like that. Or did her time trapped by the BR just make her numb to everything because she feels so much and hasawakenied as a Mage and empath? If so, the writers did shit to make it clear, and we have to fill in gaps and explanations with headcanons.

Most importantly, Mel only gave and gave to others (professionally, non proffesional, platonical, familial, etc) but got nothing of the sort in return.... not even a hug, a hand squeeze, a how are you nada. That apology she got was, again, so offstandish. I didn't expect Jayce to cry out or be a lovey dovey anything, but he was more heated to scold her a beat. Mel barely got a word out there, too, to explain her side. She doesn't even fully understand her powers...

Also, in regards to interactions, why didn't we see a moment between her and Caitlin? When her mother died, Mel told Jayce to go to her, and had she seen how Ambessa did what she did, Mel would've shut things down, too. But we couldn't see the two of them bond over having lost their mothers?

No one in Piltover was concerned with their influential councilor who went missing for weeks/months? It would've been nice had we seen her and Shoola as the last ones standing or talk about the future of Piltover and the convo moving to Mel returning to Noxus and leaving it in the people's/their hands, but not a lick.

We just see her board a ship because she now has the weight of the Medarda line (who she needs to build from the ground up while the Black Rose is still out there and likely has to deal with more politics in Noxus that is more on the violent side) on her shoulders to a country she's been exiled for who knows how long.

Mel is getting to terms with her powers, her legacy, but even with her mother, Kino, Elora and now going back to a country she was exiled from, AND having to lead a faceless army. WHERE IS HER COMFORT!?!?! Who does she have to share all of this with above one minute.

It also doesn't help that people (yes, shippers mostly cause one scroll on your page they barely talk about Mel outside of ship. Not even about the popular 'she has a larger storyline' takes. Just invalidate why Meljay doesn't and never would work or was always doomed takes in response to OG shippers sharing their grievances.

There is weird and fake trolling in the meljay/mel tag when the same people never had something to say about her/ any of her relationship up until the finale and the last few Meljay scenes.

But now everyone can supposedly yap as some fake intellectual and shade others' people being annoyed, sad, and disappointed in the WAY it was written to THEM for their ship.

Meljay shippers literally had to create a niche tag because the main ones are being spammed with bad take after take and where Mel/Meljay is undermined while claiming it is all in balance in the end. Is that not insane?

Please, miss me with that. It is irritating and condescending.

Shippers in fandom love love and just a relationship in general. This is nothing new so why all these bad fate takes? They are allowed to vent their frustration on how the story for their ship is handled. Most of the same shippers also have an analysis of the characters' they ship and larger storyline that was set. Act 3 plot lines were squeezed in such a way with so many minutes left. I am still of the opinion that we should've gotten either 3 or 6 more episodes to tie all the stuff together properly since the writers themselves decided to introduce all these storylines. There was just a disconnect and OOC behavior in Meljay that wasn't expanded upon in a better way imo.

I (minor) was active in an online group where I made some online friends. The group was for preteens, teens, and very young adults (13-21.) I befriended one person, Blueberry (fake name, because emoji) and we became close over a few months. One thing about this group is that it was aimed at mental health. Me and this person had similar problems with depression and suicidal thoughts (both actively suicidal) and often talked when one of us was in a dark place. When Blueberry turned 18 things took a turn for the worst. Multiple times a week they had panic attacks (they were in the process of getting diagnosed with OCD and bad intrusive thoughts) or crisis and attempted several times. I got overwhelmed. Instead of establishing a boundary like I should have, I started ghosting them for a few hours if it got too bad. It got to the point I'd log on once or twice a day to check in, but instead of ever chatting, the conversation always ended in their next plan to kill themselves. This one was my fault, as we'd had casual convos about this stuff in the main group. I and others did what we could to help, like providing support and helplines. Blueberry did contact many and it saved them lots. 

By this point Blueberry had done lots of other risky stuff. They lashed out and blocked a lot of mutual friends, made a fake account to pretend to be a young teen at one point (but deleted it when I asked), and other things. I didn't want to lose them as a friend so I covered for Blueberry when it was exposed. I should point out Blueberry was never mean to me they were really nice. They liked to learn about my interests and complimented me and others lots and I tried to do the same (learn about what they liked, tell them I was happy to hear from them, etx)

Obviously people of the group felt betrayed when they found out Blueberry was catfishing them as this younger teen. In Blueberry's own words, I was "the only one they could trust." Blueberry admitted again that they wanted to be more than friends, but since they were now 18 and I was still a few years younger than them I asked to just be friends because the age gap was uncomfy. They were okay with it. The next day, Blueberry said goodbye to me and deleted their account. I was really upset by this and we talked one last time where I wished them well and said how much I'd miss them but didn't think something was seriously wrong because Blueberry and me had discussed them leaving the group before because it was hurting their mental health. 

Later a friend of both Blueberry and me reached out about their behavior the days before they left and some conversations I hadn't seen. All of us are pretty sure they didn't just delete their account—they killed themself. The goodbye message proved this. I was upset and angry that they were dead, said sorry to the group for lying to them about Blueberry catfishing, and left the group.

I think I may be the asshole here because I was really selfish here in not wanting to address Blueberry's really creepy catfishing (pretending to be a young teen, which knowing that they had romantic feelings for me could have led to them befriending people lots younger than them which is bad) because I didn't want to lose the friendship, and also because if I hadn't ghosted Blueberry using mental health as an excuse I don't think they would have killed themselves. If I am the asshole here, what could I do better next time if I have a similar problem again?

anyway some notes cause this is full of headcanons

1- i like to believe Leo completely lost his ability to use his powers and tap into his Ninpo after Raph and DonDon's death, due to the emotional strain he suffered (going by the theory mystic abilities are heavily connected to emotions) unlike Mikey, Leo doesn't know how to deal with his bad emotions, simply ignoring them, and it just resulted in him losing his powers after so much emotional strain (i literally rambled about this on insta a while back fghjklsdfgh)

2- i like to believe Mikey learned how to absorb emotions out of people if that makes sense, u see Mikey holding Leo's face during their entire talk, Mikey was using his powers to absorb Leo's bad emotions, so that Leo can feel better

that's what the blue energy in Mikey's hands are, Leo's pain and sadness, and that's why Leo seems to actually open up instead of deflecting the convo with a joke or two, cause Mikey's powers made it impossible to do so

doing that however leaves Mikey to feel that pain and sadness, and generally speaking Mikey never does it unless as a desperate last measure, as Mikey prefers that his family open up by themselves instead of the influence of his magic

3- you see Leo calling Mikey "Mike", i like to believe the brothers use certain nicknames in certain situations, in this case, Leo uses the nickname "Mike" as a "i'm really not in the mood, this is serious", its very rare for Leo to use "Mike" outta all nicknames for Mikey, and Mikey hates when Leo uses that particular nickname cause he knows it's bad when Leo uses it, hence, why he resorts to absorbing Leo's bad emotions

4-ok so you see by the end that Leo gets to hug Raph one last time, this is Mikey's doing, Mikey's sharing his own Ninpo with Leo so his big bro gets to say goodbye to their eldest brother

Gold and Red Text in Penacony

So, for some reason, I have decided to torture myself by creating a theory that will likely have some plot relevance??? but not totally sure. it has popped up a bunch of times and seems to confuse a lot of people, so I'm just putting together what I know! feel free to tell me if I missed something, as I haven't done many of the side quests yet...

Anyway, spoiler warning for 2.0 trailblaze mission and possibly some of the side quests?? idk proceed with caution! I don't read many leaks so I doubt there's spoilers for that but tell me right away if there are any!

Alright, so the first time we see different-colored text in this mission is during Acheron's first meeting with the Trailblazer. According to this twitter thread (credits to user mobnermal, NOT me) Acheron's dialogue will change, depending on the gender of the tb and how we respond to her queries. She also says towards the end of the convo something along the lines of "It feels like multiple different versions of you were talking to me, saying a different thing each time".

So, I'm not entirely sure why she's lying, or even if she's doing it intetionally. It does seem like there's some aspect of "different possibilities within the Dreamscape" happening- almost like the Dreamscape itself is changing the tb's answers/Acheron's questions. But again, we'll get a bit into the dreamscape later.

2. Aventurine's final convo with the tb, and then Black Swan later.

My screenshots were failing me so hard in this quest lol.

Anyway, as far as I know, these two are the only ones in this mission who use gold text. It's mostly used to highlight the word "truth", and according to the wiki and playthroughs I have watched this dialogue doesn't change- only Acheron's red seems inconsistent. I find it interesting Black Swan put quotations around it, and I have no idea what this could imply. I assume she knows something we and Aventurine don't about Robin's death, which seems to be what they were referring to during this part.

As to how that "upends everything"... I don't know what the implications of her death are. It's implied by the npc who raised Robin (can't find any screenshots- I didn't take any, but it's dialogue from an npc in the Golden Hour) and Sunday and Robin's dialogue in the very beginning- the one where they were "shades"- that Robin's voice may have some special quality that could mind-control/ brainwash people to some extent. This is a bit of a tangent, but may point out why the gold test is so important- the new Harmony trace mats match Robin's design very well, and are part of the Order. The Order's- Ena's- symbol is an eyeball, which can be found in a lot of places on Penacony, but most importantly Sunday's clothes. Judging from what we know of Sunday's control-freak-esque personality (sorry dude ):) it's possible he or someone else in The Family is using Robin's potential powers to brainwash the people of different factions. If you choose the alternate ending, everything wraps up a bit too nicely, and nobody seems to want to leave Penacony after that. Tb never finds out about Robin's death in that ending, either. There's a lot of implications there that I don't want to get into for this post, but basically- The Family is orchestrating something, probs pinned the blame on the IPC in the bad ending (since otherwise why would hoyo tell us that?) and then brainwashed everyone to never leave. Why? No idea! But it does explain why Robin's "truth" (in quotations, because Black Swan's dialogue does imply Robin's not dead) is so important to the plot.

That was a bit of a tangent, lol. Going back to the first sc, I find it interesting Aventurine is the one to tell us this, and if we're going with the idea that gold=truth, that just tells us Acheron's most certainly an Emanator, no matter what the Dreamscape does. Why they choose to have Aventurine reveal this, especially with the first instance of golden text- that's still up in the air. However, something I want to throw in is that there was a theory floating around Twitter comparing his eyes to the eye behind Ena in their official art. They are identical- even the gold outline on Ena's eye matches his eyeliner. Since it's implied in his conversation with Sparkle his eyes are a defining feature of his race, Sigonian, and that their civilization has been taken over (I'm not clear on details) or fallen apart somehow- akin to how civilizations under Ena's rule fell apart after their death- there may be some relation. Also, Aventurine was sent to Penacony specifically, which Topaz questioned- this may be why Diamond sent him. It implies a lot of plot relevance for him later, certainly!

3. The really, really ominous text you can get from a side quest.

If you go to the Reverie(Dreamscape) VIP lounge teleport beacon and head to the wall, you find a broken Clockie surrounded by purple bubbles. If you haven't done this quest yet- do it now, I really can't explain all this! search up a guide- there's a couple good ones on youtube. you do get a sticker!

anyway, yeah! possibly the most unnerving thing in the game so far (aside from those lost text stickers...). but, as you can tell, I'm gonna focus on the gold and red text. fair warning, I don't really know what to make of this, but I think there's some connection...

first, gold. this is, if we go off what I previously thought, the "truth". My current theory is that this gold is true of within or outside dreamscape- in other words, the dreamscape cannot alter that thing in the gold text. It's there, regardless of how the dreamscape screws other things up. The "truth" in the dreamscape isn't necessarily reliable, since dreamscape seems to fuck with everything, but gold is apparently truth, so we're sticking to that. That means that bloodshed, mind-opening (?), and pressure-releasing (???) is... true? It's kind of interesting- the other things in gold we've seen are statements with meaning, and this... kinda isn't. However, it could imply this is actually what's happening in the Dreamscape. Some kind of deranged, creepy thing that the dreamscape/ the Family is doing while everyone else is on this cool-looking vacation. I have no idea why that line, of all the lines, is gold, but it's certainly not something someone trying to make Penacony look good would say! That's all I know.

Not much I know about why the red one, specifically, is red either. Are the instruments/music fake? That's certainly a recurring motif in Penacony, between bands in the Golden Hour and Robin being a songstress, plus Ena's "Beyond the Sky Choir", their exclusive faction, which fell apart upon their death. Something about Ena being swallowed by XIpe will certainly be brought up later, I'm almost totally sure. It's also interesting it gets cut off by static, without even finishing the statement(I think). I have no idea what to make of these- I just needed to point out the similarities between this tape and the dialogue.

Also, the tape itself is suspicious. According to Woolesley, there are multiple, appearing all over the Reverie (Dreamscape) and sometimes even messing with the Dreamscape.

First of all, why the hell is he telling us this very classified-sounding info? Also, he literally might pop up next to you- it's inevitable that you give him the tape at some point, really showing how The Family is cracking down on these.

Also, who's making these tapes? Why are they leaving them around the Dreamscape if they know it'll be taken? What's with these side effects/corrupting? And what's the relation between the tapes, Acheron, and Aventurine/Black Swan- are those things revealed in the tapes things only those three are aware of, or care to tell tb? It's really weird, especially since they're apparently in Clockie statues? Also, why tapes even- the tapes themselves seem corrupted(or censored?) weirdly, judging from the lines, and also just... why would anyone make these? Someone against the Family presumably wouldn't do rebellion in such a way, and someone within would have no reason to create this at all- is the Dreamscape itself making it? it's the only thing using both red and gold text...

there's probably some connection to Clockie, since that's who is most likely talking in the tape... and that's the statue we found it in too. Clockie is sus in a whole host of ways- don't even get me started, but I'm not sure how they relate to this theory just yet.

I have no idea. The tape is super creepy, but things probably will clear up a bit in 2.1!

tldr/clarification(sry for rambling so much): red text = lie/subjective/ easily changeable, to the dreamscape at least

gold text= "truth", dreamscape is unable to change it(?)

ena probs will have some lore relevance along with Robin, who seems to be the center of this "truth" for the moment

the bizarre tape is very mysterious and questionable, with nothing solid that we know about it- however, it uses both red and gold text, which automatically makes it suspicious even beyond what it's saying directly

what the hell is the family cooking up? i don't know, but it's probably not good! (for us, at least)

Ghost x König Headcanons

They take turns doing anything and everything. When it comes to cooking dinner, cleaning, taking care of the house, who’s spooning who, they just know when it’s their turn; it’s like an unspoken rule.

If you were to see them together for even five minutes, you’d definitely think they’re two friends with benefits who comically despise each other. But they’re just naturally the most most loving, flirtatious relationship you’ll ever witness.

König satirically uses Simon’s British slang, mostly just to see his reaction whenever he whips out a ‘bruv’ or ‘innit’ mid convo. There’s a high chance he gets laughed at when he does as it’s just ‘Simon’s thing’.

Their quarrelling would be so silly and stupid, but they’ll always come back stronger than ever. It’s usually König making the first subtle move to talk to Simon again - try getting him to open up. They’re both nonverbal when upset, (mostly Simon). Whenever they’re moody, their lips and throat are sealed shut and they suddenly forget how to coherently express their feelings.

Or they both forget about it, leave it in the past, and move on.

This one time they were both sulking over something, this made the atmosphere increase in weight from how ‘off’ everything felt.

“‘You okay?” König asked, wanting and trying to sound as genuine as possible - be there for who he loves most.

“Mhm.” Simon dryly hummed in response, only focusing his gaze on a wall like an artificial distraction. His replies were always curt and when he’s not feeling it and it’s never disdainful or personal. König knew that.

They ended up snuggling and communicating with one another through cuddles, leading to them eventually talking with one another. They’d wrap their arms around each other as König held Simon close as they fell asleep.

König teaches Simon some German only to laugh at his gruff Manchester accent that makes some words sound off. The taunting always ends in wholesome play fighting and Simon moping in some corner because he always loses the play fights. König laughs at him and tells him atleast he tried his best as he comforted him, still shamelessly laughing.

The only person who they can both be completely vulnerable with is each other. They see their true colours, personalities and through each other in a sense. What they had was exclusive in a way - nobody else has seen this side of them, the good and bad.

The teasing in this relationship is top tier. König wore baggy grey sweatpants as he walked around the house shirtless, leaving Ghost to feel helpless - his gaze would unceasingly divert to König’s evident bulge. I mean… it wouldn’t hurt to steal occasional glances when he wasn’t looking, right?

“Eyes up here, Schatz.” König scoffed, clicking his fingers and redirecting Simon’s gaze to his, like Simon was his disobedient dog.

“Sod off,” Simon replied, clearing his throat to mask his apprehension - all just from grey sweatpants…

There’s a constant battle for dominance, especially when they kiss. Their kisses are so intimate; their tongues clashed like chaotically serene tidal waves, König cupped the back of Simon’s head to hold onto him and pull him in closer. The kissing is so electric and sultry - so deep.

(Bonus points for Simon kissing König to shut him up because he was yapping too much, or vice verca).

König gets an advantage in this so-called ‘dominance field’ because of his height. Don’t get me wrong - Simon still puts him in his place every one in a while.

König was exhausted after a long day, the same day that Simon decided to ‘have a go at him’. He put something on the TV to pass time until Simon came in to scold him for something he wasn’t even paying attention to. König already being sat down may have slightly boosted Simon’s ego - every once in a while he gets to actually look down at König, but all König had to do to shut him up was just stand up - tower over him. He crossed his arms, cockily glared down at him and cleared his throat, indirectly telling him to shush or might have to make him.

None of them ever want to back down. Simon continued glaring up at him whilst trying not to lift his head up to try minimise the height difference, making König scoff at his poor attempt. (Awwhdhdw)

Simon gives König nicknames like ‘mate’ and whatnot, but what they get up to behind closed doors is quite the opposite to what you’d do with your ‘mates’…

The only nice nickname König’s received from Simon is ‘sugar’, which is cute until you know why.

König accidentally dropped some sugar in the kitchen, and Simon just had to be there - earning endless teases from him before it slowly transitioned into a nickname. He admittedly hated it at first, but ‘sugar’ grew onto him.

Simon is constantly being pulled onto König’s lap, and no matter how much he squirms about or glares at him he’s staying there. König never fails to retort with a “You love it, Schatz” and warmly smile at him - heavily opposing Simon’s deadly expression.

Working out in the gym together is so motivating and fun for the both of them. They’re both glistening in sweat - making their thin, white tops turn see through, they have that post-workout rush, and they’re both messily chugging water. They enjoy training each other; especially within the competitive sparring sessions.

Simon was feeling rather ‘cheeky’ this one day, so he made König say his name between each push-up. König was unfamiliar with this ‘training technique’ but Simon guaranteed him it was efficient for… building muscle and whatnot. He started off doing them all quite easily, it went on like this for a few minutes, given that König is literally a tank of a man who’s endured strict training for the military. It slowly transitioned into low, breathless grunts of him saying ‘Simon’ whilst beads of sweat trickled down his body. What a sight for sore eyes… Simon’s eyes, more specifically.

“Is it hot in here or is it just me?” Simon muttered, taking a long sip of his water, still savouring König’s exasperated state in which he was practically moaning his name now.

“Yeah,” König panted, “It kind of is,” he breathlessly grunted his name yet again between another push-up.

It took König a while to catch onto Simon’s game. After they both showered, ate and changed, his little scheme abruptly crossed his mind, making his eyes widen in surprise before chuckling to himself because of how long it took him.

They kiss and fuck like they hate each other but the aftercare is so loving and gentle. They supply one another with infinite blankets and snacks or with a, “you sure you don’t need anything else?” even though they have practically every single snug and cosy necessity in their bedroom. They’re both capable army-men that still deserve affection reassurance every now and then, they’re completely aware of this.

“Was I too harsh?” König asked, his tone mildly exhausted and out of breath.

Simon weakly shook his head in response before leaning in to plant a kiss on his lips.

When it comes to sleeping they’re polar opposites. Simon, a light sleeper who’s as still as a plank and as for König who encompasses his body in his arms like a clingy and loving teddy bear who slightly writhes about in his sleep - but not too much to be a nuisance. The first thing he does when he wakes up being the worried, giant boyfriend that he is instead of saying good morning he asks if Simon got squished in the midst of his sleeping.
