Okay crazy Dark Rise/Heir theory:

I think Anharion used to be a prince.

I might be getting a bit too conspiratorial on this one, but I’m basing it off one line/simile Pacat used. If I’ve learned anything about the way he forshadows, I’ve learned to be suspicious of word choice and similes. I mean look at this

“James looked like its young prince, returned at long last to his rightful throne.”

Like amazing simile, but what if it’s actually true? I love how my mistrust has evolved into a theory, but it actually reads like a hint the more time I look at it.

Then when I looked up the word prince in the rest of the book, I found this

“James in princely red, with rubies around his throat”

It could be a coincidence it really could be. But I’m feeling so suspicious right now…..

The only Byler doubt I have is that the writers are going to chicken out.

Is Byler set up? Yes. Has it been set up from the very beginning? Absolutely. Are there hundreds and hundreds of intentional hints thrown in throughout the seasons? Definitely. Can the writers say “fuck that, idc” and do whatever they want because they’re in complete control? 100%

Is that going to happen? I doubt it. They have no reason to tear away queer representation besides a bit of homophobic backlash, but they’ll get backlash either way. But they can. They don’t need a reason. And that possibility keeps me up at night.

I've been seeing a new Arcane poster floating around my tiktok (it has Vi and Cait in their new outfits along with Ekko, Jinx, Mel and Ambessa. You might have seen it) and MaYbE I've been burned just a few too many times by being in fandoms that post shit that isn't legitimate, or just seems a little too good to be true (like the whole "She-ra S6" debacle that happened a few years ago, or the "Willow not being cancelled" just for Disney to up and removes it from the Only platform it was on) so, I'm not believing a DAMN THING until Mel is Fully showing up on my screen in an Actual trailer or the season itself. I'm not going through this people giving me hope just to be shot in the foot nonsense again.

I think it's accurate and funny as hell.
