Practice was over, and everybody was tired. Most of them half a sleep, including Paige. While they were used to their morning practices, Paige had a late night.

"Nah I'm going pick up something from Y/N real quick" She hard Aubrey say. Hearing Y/N name, Paige was awake real quick.

" I'll come with you" She offered, the locker suddenly filled with laughs. Her teammate agreed but not before teasing her with the rest. After getting ready, both of the Uconn basketball players made their way to the medical wing, Paige was nervous, she was always nervous to see Y/N. Suddenly feeling insecure, Paige smelled herself, stressing because she's sweaty. She heard her teammate laugh. "Bro relax" Aubrey reassured her.

When they finally stood in front of Y/N's office door, when Aubrey saw that Paige was still in a bit of a daze, she took the honor of knocking on the office door. When they both heard a sweet voice yelling come in, they followed her orders.

"Oh Hi" I said surprised to see both of them here. Aubrey replied greeting me back, but Paige, just stood there staring at her, grinning like a maniac. "Hi P" I said to her.

"Hey" she replied. Before i could ask what she was doing here, Aubrey caught my attention, asking about her meds and if she could take lighter ones. I replied to all her questions, asking if she was feeling okay or if she needed a checkup. While i talked to Aubrey, i could feel Paige's eyes on me at the side of my head.

As Aubrey left, i expected for Paige to follow her, but the blonde didn't move. "P, do you need something?" i asked her.

"there's this party tonight , you should stop by"

Was Paige inviting you as a date? no.

"Okay, text me the details and i'll think about it" i kinda accepted her invite. Tonight i already made plans with my roommate, i don't think its a good idea to cancel those just because i want to see my crush. I also didn't want my hopes to be up.

While Y/N thought about that, Paige was beaming with excitement on the inside, if Y/N did show up tonight. this was going to be the night where she made her move.

As she dribbled the ball, suddenly she dropped the ball, and dramatically fell to the ground. Ice let out a laugh, but while she knew what Paige's plan was, Geno and Y/N didn't.

I furrowed my eyebrows, making me think back. Maybe she didn’t want the pressure or she just wanted an excuse out of practice.

“Paige if you are using this to get out of practice well you’ve got another thing comi-”

“Im using this as an excuse to see you” She cut you off.

“What”

“I’ve literally been giving you hints all year and you’re telling me you didnt know i liked you?”

“Well no” I answered honestly. When i finally met her eyes, a small smile took over my face. Her sad face turned hopeful.

"The first time" he died, I was definitely in the classic denial- you all know it- But this time I can accept it.

I really appreciate Aya and Bram got this talk, and that we got to see Bram go off like that. And like I have already seen some people mention, I agree that it's a good thing Bram really died.

Please don't come at me as well—

I am definitely not an enjoyer of character deaths, and in most cases, no- just all cases, I would just want to get them back, Don't get me wrong I REALLY hoped Bram would come back..!

But I also agree that sometimes, making a character die some kind of big death, （maybe self-sacrifice for example）and then just bringing them back without anything to it can be a bit - Unforfillling no matter how happy it may be they came back.

And now when Bram did die,

And since he got such a nice ending, talking to Aya and seeing his daughter, and wife(?) I can live with this. I wouldn't complain if he came back though- NO- I mean- He deserves his happy ending- If you could call it that given the circumstances.

Point being, GOOD DAMN WRITING AS ALWAYS ASAGIRI!!!✨✨✨✨

But...

BUT THAT CERTAINLY IS NOT THE CASE FOR KUNIKIDA RIGHT NOW ASAGIRI I AM IN DENIAL—

I can see Bram, but I did NOT expect Asagiri to do this to a main character like him- Kunikida was never really a character I looked that much into, but to you who did- I can imagine the self-denial must have hit HARD some places on earth right now.....

The Agency can easily survive a stab to the chest, and that's why this hits harder.

It wasn't the stab wound that killed him, It would have if Yosano hadn't come in time, yes, but that doesn't matter now, because rather it was because of the fact that the stab wound turned him into BUBBLES Amenogozen swallowed, that he died.....

I am a BIG fan of character interaction between big/main characters or characters you like, that you maybe wouldn't normally think about interacting, with or just haven't really interacted with before -Like how I desperately hope Atsushi and Chuuya get to talk, and not just one time, but get some kind of at least somewhat good friendship- THAT WOULD BE AWESOMEEE

I really hope Akutagawa and Aya will talk now as welll!!! I hadn't even imagined this duo before, but I wanna see it!

I find it incredibly Ironic that that even Bram who was called a demon, a devil- Vampires, that usually is the Enemy of god, yet he still refers to the Lord in Heaven himself in his despair.

To refer to god, like this in his despair -even as a vampire- just like any other, really hit me hard. He had feelings just like any other human.

Ofc, he does say it in anger, but a faithful human in this situation could easily have done the same. So whether or not he liked god before or even now, As a vampire, I just thought he wouldn't even mention god in a situation like that. But he did.

Also, both his daughter and likely Wife (or Lover) looked quite human, didn't they?

It's hard to say with the woman, but at least the daughter didn't have pointy ears. So I guess Bram even fell for a Human back in the day， huh?

“babe? you ready out there?” mason glanced at his watch then back to the mirror at his own reflection, tutting at his tie loosely dangling round his neck, completely unravelled once again, as he fixed his appearance for the fifth time over. for the last night of the honeymoon, mason reserved a table at one of the quietest yet delicious restaurants in the town centre — but little did he know you had your own plans for the night.

plucking up every ounce of courage you’ve got, you finally pulled yourself from the deck chair, dog-earring the page in your book, and slipped through the gap in the sliding door. mason kept a watch out of the corner of his eye and, with hardly a toe in the doorframe, he darted his head around, completely abandoning his tie — as it felt like the whole world was fading, leaving behind you, and only you, in all of your beauty. the cherry blossom colour and the white hemming of your dress, homage to your big day, complimented perfectly with your hair, and matched the jewellery of choice around your fingers and wrists. your sandals had heels, tall enough so it was easier to kiss him, but not so much it hurt his ego too hard.

you walked to one another and met in the middle of the bedroom rug, noticing how the other raked their eyes along your figure and took their time over each and every piece of you, blushing your cheeks this crimson shade, as your lips spread far into your cheeks, and for mason, his dimple started to form on the side of his mouth.

his hands found your hips almost immediately, melting into the delves in your body like they were made for his touch, and your fingers gripped around his biceps, the muscles contracting to a relaxed position and weaving the material of his shirt between your fingertips. “my wife is beautiful,” he puffed a sharp breath through his lips, making you giggle and mutter your thanks underneath your breath. mason dipped his head down to your height and rubbed his nose round in a circle against the blush on your cheeks, then peppered the sweet spots of your jawline in kisses — but, mason being mason, like a hawk, he could sense when something was up. especially when you didn’t react like you usually would, either pushing him away or mocking his useless attempt at a tie. you felt his body tense, and he leant back to get a thorough look of your face, one which was performing its best impression of ‘perfectly fine’ right about now.

you dropped your gaze to your feet, but his eyes still burned holes into the side of your head. “what happened out there? is everything okay?” he gave your hip a gentle squeeze, one to encourage you to speak, but also his own sign to you he was there, no matter what your problem happened to be — but you dropped your hands from his arms, letting them dangle in front of your stomach. and it was then his heart sunk and he took a step back, his fingertips still grazing over your hip on one side and you jinxed yourself into feeling a slight tremor of his hand against you.“baby talk to me. please?”

“can we sit?”

he nodded and guided you with one hand to the edge of the bed, yet throughout all of that, mason was oblivious to your right hand behind your back and out of his view. once sat, his hand landed on your thigh and his fingers squeezed around it, trying to settle your nerves again by stopping your heel from tapping against the floor — but he was clearly nervous, and could not hide it, as his hands shaking was even more obvious.

you puffed out a shaky breath, your chest rising and falling heavily, and you brought the box onto your lap. “i may have been keeping a little secret. since the wedding night, actually” you chuckled, but he couldn’t find the amusement. “but for our last night here, i think now is the perfect time to tell you this— also i can’t keep this to myself for any longer.”

you nudged the box onto his thigh, and mason lifted it with the most gentle of hands. now, all of that concern he initially picked up on in your eyes was out of your system, passed through to him in his gentle touches on your body. he was a bag of nerves, thinking he was hiding it well but evidently not by his shaky hands pulling at the blue ribbon to unravel the thread, his stomach churning in knots as he did so.

you watched his face, and you could pinpoint the moment all of the stars aligned — the dots connected, the puzzle took its shape — and everything clicked together. his shaky hands clutched the test in his fingers, and that look in his eye was so serious it was frightening. “is this— are you serious?”

you giggled nervously, hoping to lighten the mood a little, then scooched closer, rubbing your knees together and giving his thigh a squeeze. up this close, you spotted his watery eyes and slight quivering bottom lip. you nodded and sucked in a shaky breath — then and there, every worry left him, and in its place, his smile that could make anyone weak at the knees.

mason practically rugby-tackled you onto the bed, the baby growing in your stomach slipping his mind, as he just wished to hold you. his arms were so tightly wrapped around your frame, his fingers indenting into your arm as he lay just above you. he started with your cheek, his lips hardly leaving as he kissed over your skin, and you couldn’t do anything but shake your head to get away from his puckering lips.

“we’re having a baby,” he mumbled close to your ear amongst his kisses, before finally allowing you a moment to breath and kneeling on his forearms planted either side of your body. he stretched out his fingers to reach you, stroking the tips along your cheek, “you’re really carrying my baby— our baby.”

your lips tipped up at the corner into a smile, “well— who else would have put it there?” and he shook his head, but his rolling eyes were unable to hide that lovable smile of pure joy. his hand slipped up your sundress and held it on your chest, before leaning down to your stomach and kissing at the small bump forming. or more like a food baby right now.

your fingers combed through his locks, and you almost got lost in the sweetness of this moment.“you’re going to be the best daddy mase.”

So by telling to her parents she will stay at KL to find a suitor, she befriends the queen and try to repair the relationship between Nyra and Alicent with no avail.

By the years KL's become a second home to reader, writing to her parents and sister;she's living in a fairytale until Jacaerys is born and his brothers.

A DECADE, SHE HAS LIVED IN MISERY AND HUMILATION FOR A DECADE and seems her strength are her twin boys that looked more Velaryon than Nyra and Laenor's children.

Let's not forget also two important allies: Larrys and Alicent—also Aegon, Helaena, Aemond and Daeron, Baela( who is a mini Daemon and loyal to reader, the Velaryons)and Rhaena because the reader is the step father who stepped up and with her Aegon may have learnt to take his duties seriously and be a good husband to Helaena;Aemond learns that he shouldn't carry his burdens alone, Helaena has someone who can understand her.

First, I think that in some post I said it too high up but for my Reader she is the younger sister of the Velaryon. Laena is the eldest, just like in the book, and Laenor is the middle brother. So Reader never had a chance to inherit Driftmark.

For your peace of mind Reader is not 12/14 when Corlys wants to make her queen and marry Viserys... But still she is a minor she is 16/17 😭🤡

I don't know if Viserys would realize that something is going on between Reader and Harwin (SORRY FOR ME THE MAN IS A DENSE. I STILL ANGRY THAT HE IS THE KING) but Reader definitely doesn't want to marry him so she confesses that she is in love with Harwin. Sure, as you say, Viserys gives them her blessing and chooses Alicent.

Of course Reader feels guilty and disgusted. Alicent is the same age as her and knows how uncomfortable she must be with the situation because she was there too. It saddens him to see how Alicent and Rhaenyra's friendship breaks down.

So Reader marries Harwin and sets out to be friends with Alicent to assuage her guilt but it doesn't take long for her to start enjoying her and appreciating her friendship with Alicent. Reader tries to patch things up between Alicent and Rhaenyra but she doesn't realize she's making it worse. Rhaenyra feels like she sided with Alicent, she feels like she lost them both, she feels out of place like she's left over. Now you spend all your time with Alicent and Aegon, you seem like you've forgotten about her. You are no longer going to fly together or invite her to go with you to Driftmark because your attention is always on Alicent. Always attached to her, always smiling at each other as if they knew a language Rhaenyra didn't.

Years pass and Jacaerys is born. Throughout Rhaenyra's pregnancy you had been by her side and pampered her. Rhaenyra felt like it was the two of you again. She felt horrible because she knew that the moment her baby was born you would never love her again. And she was not wrong. Your eyes of hers stopped being warm and you only looked at her coldly. Whenever you could, you avoided being in the same room as her. All the love that was between you two was once gone because of her.

Rhaenyra suffers as Reader raises Alicent's children as his own. Reader's upbringing definitely makes Aegon a better man, she teaches him why it's important that he fulfill his duties and how he always has to take care of his family. Helaena finds another mother in Reader, she never makes her feel uncomfortable by her dreams or her prophecies whenever she can, she accompanies her to look for new insects. Aemond knows that Reader is always there to help him with his burdens and Daeron knows that despite the distance Reader will never forget him... like his father.

i love you (it's ruining my life)- (dnf situationship jealousy fic) this fic made me crazy and ate my brain alive until I could finish it. I'm proud of the banter and the atmosphere of it and the actual smut bc it was way out of my comfort zone at the time but I am so glad I pushed through

(I smile because I want to) I am your boy- (my first dogboy dream fic that's pure fluffiness) this fic was just so FUN to write like yes dream is a dog who likes to be called good boy. exactly. also proud of the dnf of it all in this fic idk just an instant classic to me

pretty?- (bitching fic ^_^) WAYAYYYY outside of my comfort zone but I wrote this all in like 3? hours and it was so fun and I have never felt more insane. chasing that high every day

only a kiss- (dogboy dream smut) sm fun for the same reasons I like writing dog hybrid dream but this is like exploring it through sex so? doubly fun and a little scary as always but I just think I did a good job with the movement of this fic

reach out and take- (omegaverse royalty au) this fic was not supposed to be more than like 2k words but then it was just fun to write because god do I love an identity reveal. there are some thing I wish I could have done better but overall I feel like its just a fun story that works well with the tropes I was using :3

This is completely platonic because Changsheng is a damn snake. We’re better than this guys why do I have to clarify these things😭

“I think that was the lassst patient of the day, Baizhu.”

“Me too, Changsheng,” Baizhu talks to his snake companion as he waves Herbalist Gui goodbye as the man leaves the pharmacy for the day.

“Ssso what now? Do we clossse ssshop?”

“Now, now, you know we have to check the stock of herbs before we end the shift.”

Changsheng hisses under her breath. She hoped that Baizhu forgot about that part- it’s so boring.

“Changsheng, behave.”

“Hmph, I am.”

Baizhu walks to the storage room of the pharmacy, taking notes of the stock at the end of the day.

“That’s…thirty violetgrass…here’s seven Qixing- wait…seven? How…?”

“Qiqi sssaid sssomething about SSShenhe arriving for more herbsss to sssnack on.”

“Ah, you’re right.”

Changsheng continues waiting impatiently as Baizhu continues taking stock.

“Fifteen silk flowers- ah!”

Baizhu flinches, jerking his head to the side.

Changsheng snickers, “hshshs, sssorry~”

Baizhu sighs, “Changsheng you know the rule.”

“I know, I know, but sssometimesss I can’t help myssself.”

Changsheng makes a sudden dive for the certain spot behind Baizhu’s ears and the pharmacist raises his hands to block the attack.

Baizhu talks with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, “thanks, how kind of you.”

Baizhu raises his arms to take down the boxes of herbs from the top shelf.

Changsheng dives into Baizhu’s shirt, slithering all over his torso.

“Ah- hah-! Changsheng!”

Baizhu clamps his arms back down, hugging himself as he tries to catch the sneaky snake.

“Yesss?”

“Stop that-! Ah! Hahaha!”

“My kind hasss poor eyesssight…where isss the way out…? Isss it here?”

Changsheng wiggles her tail underneath Baizhu’s arms.

“Wait- hahahahah! Changsheng- hahahaha!”

“What isss the matter?”

The snake slithers downward, out of Baizhu's shirt and onto his stomach.

With Changsheng now exposed, Baizhu tries to grab the snake but she coils around his wrists, holding them together. Changsheng nibbles around the perimeter of Baizhu’s belly button.

The pharmacist wheezes, “hah-! Wait- hahahaha! Ah- hahahaha!”

“What wasss that, Baizhu?”

“Changshen- gah! Hahahahaha! Stop- hihihit! Hahahaha!”

The snake starts nibbling the inside of the Baizhu’s belly button and the pharmacist falls over, collapsing onto the ground.

Changsheng stops immediately, “isss everything okay?”

“Ah…haha…I just…lost my breath…aha…sorry about that…”

“No, it’sss fine. I wasss the one that went a bit overboard.”

Baizhu takes a deep breath as Changsheng takes her usual place around his neck once more.

“What was...all of that for, if I may ask?”

“I wasss bored.”

“Is that all?”

“Well…I alssso don’t want to be here anymore. I’m ssso sssleepy…”

“Aha, well, I suppose that I’ll let you sleep then…just don’t do that again, how’s that sound?”
