I have now been thinking about the lack of people to own overlords, so, I have an idea. imagine an overlord reader who's older the zestial, using Vox as a side table. like, vox was being cocky and a brat, so, they forced Vox to kneel beside their chair, turn his head up, and just place a stack of books on his flat ass face. hell, maybe Vox could start begging after hours in the position, and reader is like, "You were ungrateful as a pet, so, a side table will have to do.

Being an Overlord was a big deal, Money, Safety, fame. People were afraid of you, respected you; every single overlord had an image, a persona and a facade to keep up, something that kept people at arms distance. Never seem weak or vulnerable, people will jump at any opportunity to see you fall. People will berate you, belittle you and ridicule you to make you step down; everyone considered a mere peon would kill to become one of the Sinners on top.

Vox was once one of those Sinners. Envy and jealousy were the only things he felt, wanting to be strong, feared, respected. And he, begrudgingly; came to you, one of the biggest and baddest overlords hell had ever seen. You were cold, calculated and a prominent power for centuries. Everyone wanted to be you, Vox included..alas Vox came crawling and begging at your feet for advice, guidance; anything he could get his clawed fingers on and you delivered, not in the way he wanted but, "power is power" he thought. A simple contract signed, a hand shook and an understanding made. His soul was yours, and you had to simply lift a finger to skyrocket him into success, you watched him get stronger, striking fear and unease into lowly sinners, his powers and connections grew along with his Greed,pride,ego and self-Image.

Vox began speaking to you and treating you as if you were just another of his pathetically weak minded employees, a sly grimace plastered on your face as you let the slip ups happen, making him forget who owns him, who he belongs to until finally you have had enough, which was today; calling him into your living room you flicked through your phone, hearing his heels clack on the floor up to the room, his cool facade waning as he walked closer and closer. The realization of who you were suddenly dawned on him for the first time in a while.

He knocked on the door, patiently, nervously waiting for your response

"come in."

Vox adjusted his tie and stepped in, his eyes quickly scanning the room and your body language, were you in a bad mood? What was happening here? Unease further setting in when you were unreadable to him, he cursed himself for hanging around such emotional and brash people like his Fellow Vee's, now he couldn't see what you had planned. You snapped your fingers and pointed to the side of your leather chair.

"right here, on all fours"

Vox felt a pulling in his chest, his hands getting sweaty and clammy immediately and his breath got stuck in his throat, he hesitantly walks over and does as told, getting on his hands and knees he lightly flinched feeling your phone being placed on his back. His mind racing as to what you have planned or even what's currently happening as he looks at the clean, pristine floor, you voice forever ringing in his ears.

"you've been really, really bad. I'm above you, I always have been and I always will be. You need to relearn your place."

Your voice is as ever cold, malicious and mocking as it always has been, not an ounce or crumb of compassion or feeling lingering in your vocal cords. You stood up and grabbed a considerably thick book from a neat bookshelf you have had, books collected from places around hell. Before seating yourself back down you grabbed a nice glass of Neat whiskey, setting it onto Voxs head as you sat down, opening the pristine book from the very start.

"you are going to stay in this position till I finish this, if I hear that glass fall and break you'll be doing a lot more than sitting there like a dog."

Your voice sent shivers down his spine as he simply whimpered a "understood" before returning back to silence. Halfway through your book you hear the "overlord"s voice quietly whine and protest.

"My knees and elbows really hurt..ive— I've learnt my lesson can I please be done?"

Your eyes flick over to the shaking TV demon as he stays obediently as ever in the position he was in hours ago, dog earing the page you were on you slammed the book shut and swung it at the Whiskey glass, shiny glass shattering against the nearest wall as Vox felt the air of the book go by him.

"Tables, do not speak. So shut up, before I do it for you."

Is it ok request an Alastor x overlord fic? Like Alastor made a deal with this demon(a goetia) and was to report to them every now and then. But, the fight happens and reader doesn’t hear from him for the 7 years, and when he dose see them, it’s because of that silly ad for the hotel, reader goes in and drags Alastor back to his house se where he teaches him a lesson on respect.

But after another extermination you had noticed a certain someone at this so called "Hazbin Hotel" you sat and pondered why he'd waste his precious time there and even more why the overlord would risk his own life for something he clearly had shown no prior interest in. Hence why your hand is gently knocking on the now rebuilt hotel door, the creator of the hotel; Charlie Morningstar answered the door; almost instantaneously jumping back at what met her, a Goetia? Why were you here? You're not a sinner wh-

The princess looked around for a moment the uneasy expression evident on her paper white face; you had a feeling this had happened before

Immediately after you pushed pass the princess and set off to find the deer. And soon enough you did; a immediate wave of displeasure,shock and fear apparent in his eyes, the Radio Demon instantly stood up and straightened himself out— words clearly trying to make their way out but nothing came out as he saw your demeanor almost immediately change, like you had locked in on him as if he were prey— which fairly speaking he was in this context.

"Do I have to drag you out by the ear?"

"of course not! I'll be right behind you"

He knew that face, that posture..that tone. He didn't need to explain his absence, nor reason why— that didn't matter to you; He disobeyed— he avoided you and he knows he'll get to know what it means to stray from you.

He knew what he was in for when they left the safety of the public eye and a part of him was thrilled about it.

You meticulously planned your week in advance but happened to fall into a working haze last night and finished everything so now you stood around like a wet sock with no clue what to do however the knowledge of your two partners being extremely busy today came into your head as you immediately set out to find them, having known before hand where they'd be most of today.

So you hastily rushed to hurry over to the building; getting quickly stopped by a particular store Alastor and Rosie both had said they enjoyed a few things from but nonetheless complained they had no time to get the items that had caught their wanting eyes so you wandered into the bougie looking store and searched around for the items they had mentioned to you; as you fiddled around with the items you looked at a few colors before picking up what you decided they'd likely enjoy most; you brought the Cashier and owner the deep red bowtie you picked for Alastor and a golden pendant with a beautiful red stone in it. The store owner waved you goodbye as you passed through the city streets to your destination, upon arriving it seemed Alastor and Rosie were already on their way out and your pace instinctively quickened, a small smile creeping it's way to your lips seeing Alastor wave at you and Rosie soon following suit.

Rosie embraced your form into hers before twirling you around as she laughed and squealed about how she missed you and how it's great to see you, she finally put you down and stepped back; clearing her throat and brushing off dust on her dress along with adjusting her hat; your gaze shifted when you saw Alastors sharp claw gently grab your wrist that held the back; recognizing the logo and giving you a look; oh how he hated you spending money on him..now what did you get him? His eyes narrowed at you before straightening back out

"I'd like to assume that's for us, my dear?"

You quickly shook your head and held it out for them, nodding quietly while Rosie started gushing over how sweet you are to get them something while Alastor quickly snagged the back and peaked inside, pulling out what was inside Rosie almost screeched in excitement as she snatched the pendant from the Deerish demon who only blinked at her a few times as she started jumping around you, telling you to put it on her; you sighed and started to clip it around her neck as she shivered and giggled at your freezing hands before turning around and showing you and Alastor very proudly; so as you looked at Alastor he already wore the new bowtie also very proudly puffing out his chest

They seem to love it, almost as much as they love you and now they are dragging you along to spend the rest of the day with them.
