Lost is about a Link who's corrupted very early in the story, and Zelda setting out to save him and the kingdom. While Hero of Sages is about a Link who has six older sisters... who happen to be six of the seven maidens needed to bring back Ganon. You can find them respectively under #Lost and #hero of sages.

-(Love) watched you speaking to Brunnhilde from across the floor, talking respectfully to her, while flirting every now and then, but she knew that you had eyes for someone else, so she knew you were harmless.

-You and (Love) had recently became an item, and a hot one at that, everyone was talking about the two of you! They wanted to know about your relationship and what things were like behind closed doors, but neither of you were saying anything, but you liked teasing, flustering those who would ask, “You can get a front row seat, if you allow us to share you~” which would always make them run away, flustered while you were laughing warmly.

-(Love) knew you weren’t serious, you weren’t the sharing type of person, once you had (Love) all to yourself, he was going to stay that way.

The two of you were quite the handful together, something Brunnhilde had to deal with a lot, as she needed to keep you both in line, usually with giving you both lumps on your heads after you would tag-team her with flirting. Brunnhilde never admitted it, but she thought it was funny, even more so when you would do it to others.

Not that I've ever got shot, but it must've hurt like a BITCH. 🩸We could've gotten some pained grunts outta him !! Make Soap hiss, grunt, moan, whimper, ANY SOUND OUT OF HIS MOUTH. Soap controlling his breaths - I LIVE for those 😭 (Kinda like in Overwatch, if you're on low health, you'd hear the characters' pained sounds. Of course for Soap not all the time, (the Shadows could hear him) but once in a while would be GREAT)

While that bit is such a good dialogue, we could've gotten more from his blood loss narrative. -> Make him have to support himself up with one arm!! Make him fall once again!! Make Soap talk to himself in an attempt to sort himself out ‼️‼️

>> Soap went to the sewers. Idk about y'all, but going under the sewer water with exposed wounds IS NOT A GOOD IDEA Y'ALL 😭. The amount of bacterial infection is going to br crazy. If not treated properly Soap's gonna get a whole fever breakdown and more over hallucinations and shit.

Octomer Ratchet is so good. I can imagine any chromatophores he might have going wild while pursuing Drift, if he has any natural camouflage abilities.

Perhaps he plays a game with Drift, hiding among coral and rock formations in order to "sneak up" on him, his usual brights reds and whites distorting to match their environment-- Maybe arousal causes some colour changing as well?

IDK I just really like the idea of Ratchet changing colour (or at least hues) like a mood ring lmao maybe it even frustrates him a bit, like oh no my fucking chromatophores are going to give away this huge crush I have -- he might try to hide in corals or swirl up a bunch of sand with his tentacles initially

If Drift is a land dweller, then maybe they figure out Ratchet is interested in him by studying how Ratch's colours change, and what patterns/colours only appear when Drift is around...

...and maybe Ratchet's attempts at hiding/playing hide and seek (lol) are mistaken for aggression at first, because they don't know why he's doing it

and then they guess it's some kind of broody behaviour, like maybe he's trying to defend a nest or egg clutch that he doesn't really have?? Because Ratchet's grumpy but not usually aggressive and it's weird behaviour from him as far as they're aware. So then he gets a little pity from the facility staff but it's hilarious because he does want to Do It but all the guessing isn't quite right. Like yes it's about Doin It and Eventual Eggs but not in the way they think. Communication Issues lol

Hmm a really clear concept just came to me... Security guard Drift at the marine research facility, Ratchet is the only mer there who constantly avoids him, so he just disappointedly assumes he gives Ratchet bad vibes

One night when he's on a skeleton shift, he passes by Ratchet's tank and suddenly notices that something is fucked up with the filtration pumps (or whatever I don't know how aquariums work)

He immediately makes an emergency call to the aquarium techs who are at home. They tell him to get Ratchet moved till someone arrives to fix it. So he's hesitantly going up to the tank like, "hey buddy I know you dont like me, but I gotta pull you out of here for a bit, it's not safe" Ratchet quickly pulls himself right into Drifts arms... and now he's carrying a big squirming octomer. Drift's pretty surprised, but he brushes it off as Ratchet wanting out of his tank

When Drift finally gets to the temporary tank he expects Ratchet to jump from his arms and signal for him to basically fuck off... instead, he goes to put Ratchet down, only to get pulled into the tank with him. Now he's sitting in chest high water, pinned by a heavy wiggling octomer in his lap

For Ratchet, life is good 😎👍

Drift, meanwhile, is mentally repeating "don't get hard" like a mantra, while a purring Ratchet's tentacles caress every inch of his plating. Since it was the middle of the night, they have to wait a good bit for someone who can fix the pumps to get there and make Ratchet's tank safe again...

Maybe, as the hours go on, Ratchet gets a bit friskier... or maybe he just leaves it at intimate exploration, because he's too busy watching Drift whimper and twitch underneath his tentacles <3

ok a moment i honestly love and wish would be brought up again is in book 1 during the stakeout with M. i understand M doesnt really give a shit what the agency gets up to, they get their orders and carry them out w their team; done and done — someone else has done all the thinking and worrying and moralizing so why would M waste time on that? but during the stakeout (deva is anti-agency btw) M says something to the effect of the agency wanting to keep what goes on with the ghouls under wraps, and the detective can sarcastically reply that ‘yeah i bet the agency likes to keep a lot of things that way’ and M snorts and says ‘you have no idea’ almost bitterly. AND I JUST FIND THAT LITTLE MOMENT SO INTERESTING.. ESPECIALLY because the author confirmed that if the love interests had to choose between the agency/rebecca or the detective, romanced M would always choose the detective no hesitation.. just something i get a little crazy about

i was gonna cheat and combine the sex scenes but actually one that stands out over the obvious ones is after you go to tina or verdas place (tinas route for deva): the car ride back to the warehouse w mason is sooo soft and really hammers home how in sync and subconciously aware M & the detective have become regarding each others comfort & needs.. and then when his seat jumps back and he falls.. so cute. the hesitation before the kiss. that everything is deliberately slow and new again even if M & detective have already slept together.. i love that car scene sm because you really see how thrown off balance M has become — literally and figuratively

and number five i AM gonna cheat and give a holiday magic answer because it truly fucked me sideways

i also rly like the idea that kadaj is more human/childlike than seph and post ac au when seph returns she returns with memories of having been kadaj. with all the insecurity and teenagedness and rawness of being removed from a godly existence. (in a similar way to where some ppl believe jesus/god in christian belief incarnated as a human to know what it was like) And also with the memory of being held by cloud in that way 🤠👍

Also @dykesferatu has a big brain beautiful interpretation where kadaj contains elements of cloud (the insecurity, desire for (motherly) validation, desire to prove himself etc) and is proof that seph contains elements of cloud the same way cloud contains elements of seph (s cells and stuff) I LOVE IT A LOT... THEYRE MIXED UP..... They're forever leaving scars and parts of themselves inside each other... Guh....

started off with a lil’ character sheet for Arthur - I flip flopped between what I would make him (Templar, warden, keep him as a street thief/outlaw etc.) before finally settling on a mix of both warden and street thief/outlaw!! idk Arthur just gives me really strong Grey Warden vibes - a tragic hero (sometimes on a path of redemption depending on the origin/how they played it) who also has smth in them that will eventually kill them, despite having some weird benefits (in Arthur’s case, mentally)?? they’re twinning fr

so it starts off relatively similar to normal: Arthur joins up with the gang at a young age, becomes a thief yada yada, and after a disastrous robbery, they end up camping in Ferelden, just before the Blight starts (unlucky)

for the purposes of this fic, the gang is only comprised of the camp girls (minus Sadie, for now), Dutch, Hosea, Arthur, John, Jack, Swanson, Pearson, Micah, Bill, Sean, Lenny and Javier - Sadie and Charles appear a bit later!!

shit goes down as normal but for story purposes, a heck of a lot faster, and the gang starts to fracture

seeing this, and wanting better for everyone, especially in the midst of the now upcoming Blight, which Dutch, for whatever reasons, does not acknowledge the danger of, Hosea (WHO LIVES IN THIS SCREW YOU ROCKSTAR) gathers as many people as will listen to him (everyone minus Dutch, Micah, Bill, Javier) with him and splits from the gang and heads towards Denerim in hopes of finding safety/starting anew

during their travels however, the group ends up getting caught up in a battle between a group of grey wardens and dark spawn - in which, because he has the worst luck, Arthur is nicked by a darkspawn which only means one thing: death.

(Literally just realising this is basically carver in the deep roads)

Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you view it, the grey wardens offer to take Arthur back to Ostagar with them, they were impressed by his fighting skills, and arguing that the only way for him to live was to become a grey warden

after a lot of hesitation, and a bit of arguing, as he doesn’t want to leave his family behind, Arthur agrees to go with them and parts ways with the remains of the gang, promising that, once this was all over, they’d find each other again

SO I feel like this is enough for now! I definitely have more to write on this and NGL I might even write a full blown fanfic of this BC ITS SO MUCH FUN??

I’m not entirely sure if I want Arthur to be the HoF in this AU?? I am very much planning on him being a prominent figure in the fight against the Blight and the Archdemon but idk?? ALSO there will be characters from both games in this AU bc I love some of them too much to leave out (I’m looking at you Morrigan and Shale…)

I did kind of want him to be a Blackwall type figure but like if Blackwall acc became a Grey Warden 💀

Round 2 of my favorite characters as warrior cats lets go — Sylvain, Claude, and Dimitri edition

Once again I throw logic out the window for actual cat markings/colors/whatever because I design based on vibes and I was only able to work a crest onto Sylvain (the red around his eyes resemble the two parts of the gautier crest) but I did try very hard to get the other two to have theirs (Dimitri gave me a stupid amount of trouble to get vibed right).

I knew I needed to put a heart on Sylvain for Sylvain reasons, and I thought it would be delightful if he only had it on one side — his other being just dark… I also really wanted to include black on him since his class outfits usually use black and red annnnnd the cat breed named after Gautier is a black and white cat.

Meanwhile, Claude is highly inspired by wyverns in the game. The lighter brown is basically wherever it would be on a wyvern, and the fact of his stripes are mostly from the Reigan tabby but also resembling the layered(?) look wyverns have… the scales, basically, with white stripes being used for more prominent scales (sort of, mostly because his wyvern is white and I needed to include it but he looked wrong with white stripes). His ear tufts represent wyvern horns/antlers, or they represent deer antlers! His tail and spots are deer-like, too.

And Dimitri !! He needed to be big and fluffy; and, he needed to have a mane with rounded ears like a lion so that’s the bulk of my ideas. The black part on his back is like the fur cloak he has post timeskip and his toes being black were just because I thought it would be neat 👍

I have been thinking about fe3h warrior cats in the back of my mind for over 2 years apparently, and it’s so easy to say we have Eagleclan, Lionclan, and Deerclan… that’s why those are the three clans. Maybe this world works a little differently, too, and the church is a band of clan cats who are always in contact with Starclan (allegedly) and therefore partially govern all the clans… Wolfclan also exists, but it’s not a real clan — it’s a band of rouges or loners who are doing their thing led by Yuri

Starting with Lionclan life, sometimes I remember that Thunderclan had a succession way back in the day with Oakstar to Pinestar and that is how Lambert wanted it to go before ~tragedy~ and I don’t know if it was Rufus or someone else who takes over afterwards but I do know that when Sylvain was a kit, a part of him really wanted to be a medicine cat but he never went down that path… though he does know a lot more about herbs than your average warrior! Good for him. At somepoint when it’s time for the timeskip, Dimitri disappears for 5-12 moons (I think 60 moons would be the 5 years but that feels too long for cats), becoming a rouge wandering the clans’ territories and picking off mostly Eagleclan like your unfriendly neighborhood cryptid. Eventually he’s normal again and not doing that, reclaiming the leadership position.

And with Deerclan I have not as many thoughts for I am not sure what makes the most sense for Almyra to be. Maybe something closer to the tribe? I do not know. What I do know is Claude came from there and got to be in the clans for a good long while, quickly rising to the rank of leader by the time the timeskip passes. I feel like Deerclan would be extra not happy about him simply showing up if that’s what goes down, so I support it happening. Kind of like how Tallstar makes Onewhisker the deputy on his deathbed, but it’s Claude’s grandpa doing that to Claude.

And I have a lot of name ideas for fe3h life !!

When I initially thought of names for specifically Lionclan/Faerghus, it was as if they were from Riverclan so the names on my mind have a very Riverclan-based scheme… but I really like some of them. Like “Shellrain” for Sylvain, I think it’s so fun if the name actually sounds like their real name. I needed to put “Rain” in as the suffix for Sylvain for that reason.

I think Lambert, who could be “Lightbass” or “Landbass” depending on how far you want to go with the names sounding alike, would name Dimitri “Lionkit” when he’s born. Then he can become “Liontrout” or “Liontree” again, depending on how far you want to go. Though, maybe his name is “Lionshade” “Lionshadow” or something else suspicious because it would probably be Rufus (who is Runfur because that is the closest I can get to it being Rufus) or someone else who doesn’t support him naming him at the time… unless warrior names are given out by the church group… hmmmm…

Regardless, I’m again not sure what Almyra is in connection to the clans, but Claude definitely has two names, and in the clans he goes by “Deerclaw.” Claw is the best suffix ever if you want to make a word that sounds like Claude (just like rain) so it has to be it, and “deer” is a very obviously accepted prefix for the clans. I don’t know what his original name should be yet, however.

And that’s all I got, but I have one more pair to contemplate (Aventurine and Dr Ratio) in the coming days before I start digging deeper into the other cats so stay tuned \o/ yippie

Fishing Hamlet well and Kos parasites

Alright I got some new ideas concerning the fishing hamlet and about the infamous well (the one with the sharks and the Rakuyo).

I think it's kinda oblivious but the fishing hamlet clearly doesn't have running water (tap water from pipes). So they need a water source to drink, bath, wash clothes, cook etc and without a river or a lac you need a well with fresh groundwater. (you can bath in the sea and perhaps cook some aliments but that's basically it).

No, boiling salt water from the sea everyday isn't a good option to stay hydrated 😑 humans cannot live with it.

Now, you may ask but how can they have a well with fresh water so close to the sea then?! well if the groundwater from the sea isn't in contact with the fresh groundwater on the cost/earth it's fine 👍

It usually goes like this :

The problem with huge and modern pumping in the coast for exemple is the risk of having the groundwaters mixted and being contaminated. And as such no proper to drink. I don't think it's because of the well in itself but I do believe such contamination, the (the sea water mixing with the fresh water of the well) happened.

I think it one was of many afflictions that happened at the fishing hamlet before the hunters & Byrgenwerth arrived. (the water contamination, flood, maybe illness, maybe a starvation etc).

They are many corpses around (like the ones in boats at the entrance) who weren't mutated who seem to have died. But from what? Disease? Didn't support the parasite? Did the villagers killed each others? Who knows. But I won't be surprise if it was a mixt between a strong illness + no fresh water + the hamlet being flood. (Still I wonder when this "flood" happened. The village is in such a state... but maybe it's just because it's in a nightmare. What's reality and what's not...

In the end, all those aspects would explain why the villagers think Kos could have "save them". They mutated, the parasites forced them to change but somehow they adapt better to their new environment. "Saving them" of some sort but at what cost...

Yeah I thought the parasites just turned you into a fishes at first because they come from Kos who's a great one of the sea right? And probably lived in the depth. But the lumen wood kin aren't fish right? And I don't think great ones are real animals species either. they are something else. Even if Kos look like a marine creature it could be just convergent evolution (for exemple wings in bat, bird, insects, pterosaur etc they are way to distant but manage to evolve with similar characteristics without proper genetics link).

But maybe it is because of Kos too! Especially the women at the fishing hamlet aren't fishes but marine slugs and looks more close to Kos. (I guess mollusc are more adapt to little water depth like the coast but still a mixt habitat. In that case I suppose men looking more like fishes would be because they go into the sea properly with more water to find food perhaps?

I think the villagers' mutations allowed them to better adapt to their new environnement now. Really fit with the theme of evolution and all. So, with the villagers, no having access to fresh water anymore could have accelerate the phenomenon.

Now, why such water contamination occur in the first ? Well it's sure a flood who last for a while or the sea tide rising don't help but if you played the game you know the well and the underground of the hamlet have caverns and underground paths leading to the sea. So if the sea went in there... it would contaminate the water. Now WHY the sea rise?? I don't know. Could be just natural you know it happened. Could be unnatural too... maybe because of the influence of Kos or another great one... who knows.
