babes when I saw the second pic - I fucking screamed, because I have an AU in my mind where Noel and KiY fall in love during those 10 years in Dreamlands

King in Yellow canonically changed the shape of Dreamlands and himself to trick Noel into talking, but in my AU he isn't that much knowledgeable about humans and the human world. So his illusions aren't really detailed and true and Noel keeps calling KiY on his mistakes.

Like KiY in disguise will go to Noel and try to start a conversation, to make Noel slip up about the info he is holding. However, Noel takes one glance at his disguise and immediately recognizes King and starts laughing. "Doll, humans don't have 10 fingers on one hand, what are you on??"

And it keeps happening like Noel would always call out King for his mistakes in illusions. So King decides to make his illusions and himself look and behave as human as possible so that Noel could never guess. Oh and also get the info, but that's a bonus now. King in Yellow is such a petty loser, like you cannot change my mind that he wouldn't immediately try to beat Noel in this human thing

And by doing so, Noel would show King more and more of the human world and how humans behave and act. And King starts enjoying it, because not only human world is actually really fucking beautiful but also Noel is really fucking smart and funny.

King was looking for his heart(our babygirl John), thats why he was trying to get info from Noel but after sometime he finds Noel being his new heart.

Its mostly fluff here, but of course we can make some good angst with it. Like what if King tries Roland's disguise or Noel's disguise. And learns that the human world is sometimes not that great. And all precious lessons of what means to be human for a God who didn't even spare a second glance to the same humans before.

BUUUUT back to the fluff, some time after King and Noel are cuddling and King is thinking how smart he is that he tricked that small precious human into loving him(King is in love with Noel, but he is too proud to admit it) Edit: just to make clear, this is an AU an AU. It is as far from canon as possible, so a lot of bad stuff that King made Noel do or made to Noel are not applicable here. So chill

"I typically call them fruitloops. Often they're in a better position than you are- older, richer, more powerful. They may have some sort of status that protects them when facing the public."

Tim wondered where Dick was right now, and if he was laughing. His brain was lagging like a computer as he tried to process what Danny was saying, and how seriously a few of his fellow teen vigilantes were taking this.

"Some of their more common tactics are-" the chalk was picked back up, and Danny writes as he speaks.

"Manipulation, isolation, conditioning, and empathy."

Tim stares at the board, and quietly slips put his phone.

listen there really was just something about how in the book, snow’s 3-page descent from hesitant lover boy to deluded mfer happens entirely in his mind. lucy gray gives him no indication whatsoever that she suspects him, that she’s going to leave or betray him. he’s just sitting quietly in the cabin waiting for her to return when that seed of calculated suspicion, which he has needed to survive the capitol, takes a hold of him and chokes the life out of any goodness left inside him. it really drives home your terror as a reader that “oh my god did he kill her? did she escape? what happened to her? why would he even think that?” in a way that when the movie had to adjust for visualization it lost some of that holy shit this guy has lost it emphasis.

I've never been explicit about this because I'm a Fandom Old, and back in the day it was simply understood that anything on the Internet was fair game to do with what you wish, but: if you see a story of mine out there and you like it, download it. Fuck if I care. Keep it for yourself, distribute it to friends, print copies for yourself and your friends, mail it to people, I don't give a shit. As long as you're not exchanging money, I couldn't care less. And tbh you should be doing this with all fanfics you love - print them, save them, put them on a flash drive or a hard drive or share them with friends, whatever. Fanfic authors these days are really fucking precious about their fics, but honestly we're probably going to start seeing queer art being disappeared (especially in the US under the next president) so do whatever you can to archive the things you love to read. Even if that means just printing them out and sticking them in a binder for yourself to read as a bedtime story.
