Okay, so my brain doesn't want to write, but it does want to do...whatever this is. These were all made in PowerPoint, built from scratch. The only thing I didn't make my own version of is the Cal picture on the last one.

This is the tab selection design. The one that says 'advanced' is taken in game. I was wondering what I could use this for, but then I realized it works well as a name plate! So my ao3 name and my tumblr name! this was the third thing I made

next are meditation circles! I couldn't decide which one I liked more. So first two are mine. The last is a reference I pulled from a search because I couldn't get a good angle in game. This was the fourth/last thing I made!

Next is the second thing I made! The data bank...cover cards? I don't know what to call them lol. There's another shape I'm tempted to try out, but I like these ones. First one is mine, second is taken in game.

Last but not least! the first thing I did. the tactical guide data cards. Technically the little icon on the right outside the card is supposed to be either an icon of the next entry or the cover icon for the next category so I didn't need it, but I couldn't resist. #hopping on the trend jumpscare i’m from hong kong surprise #i haven’t seen that many hk mikus around #lowkey chat i think i kinda ate with this one #however i will say i am coloring in the dark so if any colors look off that’s why #and also i haven’t opened this program in literal months i jumped straight into this no warmup no nothing #miku is what pulls me out of art block apparently i was locked in for 5 hours STRAIGHT #someone needs to teach me how to paint properly holy #not sure how i feel about the bottom left one but that was a quick one anyways #i am from hk originally but i haven’t been back in years so i have no idea about the culture other than food and mirror #OKAY let me explain the context #street food is a big thing in hk and quick and easy things like fish balls egg waffles and like siu mai and wonton noodles are popular #back then people really would just squat down on the side of the road or right in front of the shop to eat it and go #but i don’t think anyone does that anymore city life and all that #ohh i should have done instant noodles breakfasts god i loved those #if anyones from hk if you go to the causeway bay mtr station exit that leads up to the big road near sogo. do they still sell siu mai there #that shit was BANGER i remember asking for them all the time #a good majority of parents in hk would get their daughters ears pierced as a baby something about them not feeling as much pain idk #that’s just what i was told #i used the neon for her friendly standard greeting cause i wanted to incorporate the neon signs somehow without actually drawing a whole bg #lots of neon signs in hk. i heard they had to take them down cause of light pollution which is sad but understandable #everyone got their shoes from dr kong. at least when i was younger they did #boy band is self explanatory. i heard they’re really popular my mom listens to them #oh i had her messing with her shoes cause hk people move FAST. you stop for one second and you get shoved #so like a fun little allusion #gave her black roots just for fun. she is violating every school uniform code possible #this is all based off of my memory by the way so like. anyone who knows this better than i do hit me up #hatsune miku #miku from my culture #jellos scribbles #i haven’t tag yapped in so long welcome back my love i missed you

started watching another home makeover show and it hit me once again how much I want an AU where George and Sapnap are the hosts of a 'siblings getting their own rooms' show (they compete on which room suits their respective kid best) and Dream is one of the cameramen who ended up commenting out loud about something so he ends up being a faceless fan favorite. George does flirt with Dream a lot. Sapnap is very tired of it. They also compete about which room Dream would like the best, which is not the point of the show but in their hearts it is.

#it'll be the kind of show no one expects to succeed but dream's clip goes viral #literally he's not even supposed to be part of the show but everyone wants to hear what he has to say #and it works out well because george and sapnap are obsessed with getting his approval #dream does not have interior design background so he honestly has no idea why anyone listens to him #what he doesn't know is he is VERY GOOD at knowing what the kids want because he's good at listening and also figuring out what they NEED #like there is an episode where this girl wants generic princess stuff but it turns out she just really looks up to her big sister #so dream finds out she likes art and building things with her own hands and there's a whole segment #where you just see his back while this kid is teaching him how to build a castle #and you see george watching from the side COMPLETELY BESOTTED #I NEED TO WRITE THIS FIC #these men in the car makeover show keeps on bantering i feel like it could be flirting #i need to use this energy into something less crazy (dnf is less crazy than these people)#like why did this man program his droid to answer the question 'is donny cute' 😔 and it answered yes but only when he is not talking #boi u just called the beefcake who kept hugging you cute #how am i not supposed to think about dnf

HELLO i did not expect the minecraft cross stitch post to do as well thank u very much for ur support😭 here are some sample pages from the work in progress zine. it needs some adjustments absolutely, like the symbols need some fixings but i am very excited to work on this project and to share it :)

#it is going to be a free zine booklet btw and i am the only person working on it idk how long itll take to complete but i am cross #stitching these patterns as i go in a genuine love for the medium and this does not have to be cross stitch like if u want to use these for #whatever then please absolutely do it is not married to cross stitch u can do anything u want in ur lifetime #also i will absolutely include instruction on how to make these bc they are rly very easy and fun to make i encourage ppl to make their own #and experiment w ideas :) ok bye im just rambling bye ily #u have to crop a photo into a 1:1 perfect square and then put it into [most] pixel art programs as a 32x32 resolution and then manually #paint over it to refine it and that is how u make them #in brief #OK BYE😭 <3 #DANG IT also to make the symbol patterns i opened an excel sheet g00gle sheets and i made all the columns/rows to be like square sized and #and then i filled it in w symbols for each color these were all manually put into place bc i could not find a ‘cross stitch pattern #generator’ that was decent it was all nonsense but that is how i made the charts if u would like to also make them #just get some symbols and copy/paste them into the squares #WILL ELABORATE on it more in the zine but in case any1 wants to make their own that is how i did it #OK BYE NOW FOR REAL
