- shaving is bad for you so stop. So is makeup. If you MUST do these things, find products that mitigate the damage done.

- skin care doesn’t mean retinol and anti aging, it means sunscreen and moisturizer.

- style doesn’t mean trendy or feminine. Butch lesbians are some of the most stylish people on earth. Style means that you’re expressing yourself with clothes that make YOU happy and are practical and comfortable. I personally love flowy floral print shirts but pair them with very masculine khaki shorts in the summer. In fall and winter I switch by wearing a lot of masculine shirts with yoga pants. I love big poofy sweaters. Don’t be afraid to mix what you want. Wear your favorite colors. Have fun.

- hair styles and color can be fun if you like to experiment or they can be practical and easy to maintain if you’re not into hair. Buy products that nourish your hair and keep it healthy and take it easy on blow drying/curling/straightening/otherwise damaging your hair in pursuit of style. There are no wrong answers as long as your hair is healthy and clean!

- bathe regularly and get in between the crevices. Just no soap inside you. In between your buttcrack isn’t inside, and neither is your vulva, so soap up! Find scent free and moisturizing or sensitive skin friendly products. Try not to use super hot water.

- drink water, sleep, relax, eat your veggies. Go for a walk! Turn off your screen sometimes.

- exercise and stretch because it keeps you healthy and strong, don’t do these things to be thin. The number on the scale doesn’t matter if your body moves well and your blood work is good.

Refusing to perform femininity doesn’t mean rotting. Wearing stained, smelly clothes, skipping showers, leaving hair to tangle and break- none of that is feminist praxis. Neither is an unhealthy diet or refusing to care for your body.

Feminist praxis is loving yourself. It’s taking care of your human body because it’s you and you deserve so much more than to be an object. You deserve health and pleasure and healing. You deserve self expression and comfort.

Think of yourself like a garden. Patriarchy demands you plant a sickly monocrop. The answer is not to salt the earth. The answer is to plant what you want and to thrive under the sun in defiance.

Essentially, you stay conscious, but you cannot move, trapped in your own body feeling every slow pain of rot or cremation as your atoms split apart over millennium. So yeah, death itself is fine but everything after is scary

8/10 I’ve always had a fascination with death, not actual people dying, but the pomp and glamour we give death. Graveyards and funerals and death gods and all that jazz. Gothic stuff. Also The End is technically the only fear that can win in the long run. The End will come for us all.

Especially touching on the point that she's bi/only gay for aj which is quite different from rd's bisexuality. How did she reach that conclusion when all her life she was after stallions/men. Sorry for the delay in response! I actually had to gather my thoughts.

The formation of this headcanon isn't really set in stone! Honestly there are many different scenarios I could see. I think it could also change depending on where AJ stands in all of this. Does she openly crush on Rarity? Does she have hope? Is she pining? or already over Rarity because she thinks there's no way Rarity could like her as a woman?

I definitely like a bit of angst and pining, so I like the last option a lot. I could see AJ very accidentally nudge Rarity into her enlightenment. E.g. AJ helping Rarity out in her garden, maybe building or setting up some things and (probably without realizing) going into all the sexy tropes of bulky handymanwoman sweating in the sun sun with sweat dripping all over her. I think Rarity would be very much into these masculine tropes that you see in cheap romcoms. Yes, when it comes to romance and daily business she loves a handsome, sweet and fancy man. But when it comes to sexual tension and desire, I could see her lean more into rough, burly men. And AJ checking off a lot of these tropes and desires could easily make Rarity go 'hmmm....' at the end of the day. One thing that definitely immediately turns Rarity on and blush is being lifted off the ground, which AJ could also easily do. And which AJ would do without realizing what she's doing to poor little Rarity. I could see them bicker and pout and AJ just with an annoyed huff and puff pick Rarity up and down two steps to the side so she can finally get to wherever blocked Rarity her path to. And then Rarity is just standing frozen over how easily AJ lifted her up. Gosh that farmer is strong...

Either Rarity slowly realizes that she starts to fantasize over her friend (as in the previous setting) OR she doesn't - which is just as hilarious. I could see that one more in a 'let's drink too much at your yearly family garden festival and makeout and possibly more' way. Rarity being completely oblivious to her attraction towards AJ + AJ still being so goddamn much into Rarity + alcohol + more alcohol + some minutes of alone time makes an incredible night and unforgettable, embarrassing morning. I mean, it doesn't have to be completely sexual. I could see a drunk Rarity just pulling AJ in and making out with her for the end of the night without leading up to anything more. Especially, if AJ had drinks than her friend. I think something like that would work well with Rarity wondering and trying to understand her sexuality for a long time. Probably with more shame pinned to it due to her previously unhinged behaviour.

Honestly, there are many different AUs and scenes I could see with them. Most of them involve Rarity confessing because.. well, AJ is pretty openly a lesbian and she has never seen Rarity seriously flirt with her or any other woman. And even with the possibility of Rarity liking women, AJ probably doesn't think she's Rarity's type - not the way she fawns over handsome and posh gentlemen. Lastly, AJ definitely doesn't want to risk her friendship with her by making a move that may not lead anywhere. So .. yeah. I think Rarity most often has to show interest first. At least in any AU where they're established friends and Rarity starts to realize her liking for her friend.

what do i really enjoy while living in yorkshire with remus in my marauders dr?

there are few things that i love to do not only with him, but what i do alone too :))) so here are few things listed that i want to shaaaare

dancing to old records - especially from his collection! when he moved in to live with me he had 7 huge boxes with vinyl records and when we unpacked it, we put all of them on the ground and had a lot of fun of exploring them. he had a lot of those records because his mom was collecting when she was still alive and lyall gave everything to him. also listening to his mum records in the evenings is a thing that really cheers him and me up :))

my little garden - so in the back of our house there is this little garden where i decided to start my little magic plantation :P i love it and i'm glad i did this, remus helps me a lot with it because he knows that when everything is going crazy around us, this cheers me up :)) also he will not admit it but he LOVES gardening lmao

our neighbours! - even tho "we shouldn't trust anybody" (as dumbledore said) there is this cute old couple living next to us! 72 year old sophie edinson and 73 year old alice murron! (i think i just found your favourite lesbian couple in my dr LMAO more of them will be in part 2 and 3 of my marauders dr update so look for them there!!!) they are so cute and nice, they invite us for dinners sometimes or they give us some desserts that they make :)) they have huge black cat that sometimes is sitting at our door he is very friendly and sometimes i find him in our garden

our guest book - well it’s not a normal guest book :P i we used it for our order meetings, it’s hidden and it’s travelling from house to house for safety. we use a guest book to write down some notes (lily does that) like who was at the meeting etc. we also have photos there 😭 that’s were the order huge group photo was hidden through the years 😚 no one can read this book except people from order - it’s a forbidden item and there are some very strong spells that dumbledore put on it. but in charge we also write in code 😋 i enjoy it VERY MUCHHH me and remus sometimes sat in living room and took it out to see some photos etc. 💫

Grayson met Cassandra when she was around Caitlyn's age

Grayson, the newest enforcer to join the force at the time, was assigned to stand guard during a trade deal the Kirraman family was doing.

The whole thing was rumored to be a setup in order to harm the Kirraman family, but none of the Enforcers (or anyone in general) really took these rumors seriously. They sent a newbie mostly to ease the minds of the worried Kirraman family.

The trade deal had, in fact, been a setup. They were ambushed, but within minutes the attackers were subdued by Grayson. This is both when she gained respect in her field, and when Cassandra and Grayson became friends.

Cassandra had feelings for Grayson before even meeting Tobias.

After the attack, Cassandra made sure that any time she could, she requested her guard be Grayson.

Grayson was, of course, oblivious to the fact Cassandra did this out of fondness of her, and took this mostly as Cassandra feeling safe around her. The two had a strictly business relationship for a very long time, though slowly Grayson began to warm up to Cassandra and the two would go out for drinks once and a while.

Little did Grayson know, Cassandra had been pining for over a year at that point.

Unfortunately for our dykenamic duo, Cassandra was set to be wed off.

Luckily for them however, the man she was set to marry happened to be also a bit.. queer.. yk..

The arranged marriage set by the Kirraman family came out of the blue, really. But, after meeting Tobias and seeing that he too wasn't a fan of the situation, the two actually became close.

Though Cassandra was still very much in love with Grayson, she married Tobias and produced an heir. After this, the two simply settled down and lived together peacefully.

After less than a year of marrying, the two sort of unceremoniously came out to each other as being bi, and agreed to open their marriage.

Tobias dated around, but Cassandra had only one person in mind.

Cassandra confessed to Grayson in their garden, under the same tree she sat with Caitlyn at, and the two began a secret relationship

Caitlyn didn't even know the two were together until after they both passed, and her father told her.

Grayson and Cassandra even had a sort of mock wedding, which Tobias helped plan, and Cassandra wore a second wedding band.

Tobias lesbian supporter canon, he loved Grayson very dearly and supported his wife and her wife wholeheartedly.

Also feel like adding this here I headcanon Grayson as a Zaunite who managed to crawl her way up, which is why she was so caring for the undercity and befriended Vander.

When Caitlyn was born, Grayson was one of the few people allowed to hold her. Caitlyn immediately attached to Grayson, and Grayson would often play with her on her days off. Caitlyn often called her "mama Grey" as a child

Cassandra often stole Grayson's clothes for the nights Grayson couldn't be at the manor. She'd use them as pillow cases or sleep in them. She especially liked swiping enforcer uniforms, as Grayson sweated in them, so they smelled more like her

Grayson always gave Cassandra massages and did her hair every single night, without fail, both as a way of comforting her and as self care.

Cassandra also occasionally gave Grayson massages, as work gave her sore muscles, but Grayson had to be coaxed into taking them. Girl does NOT like the idea being cared for, as she sees herself as strong and unbreakable.

Grayson being from Zaun was one of the biggest reasons Cassandra created the air filtration system. Grayson even brought Cassandra to Zaun once or twice to let her see for herself. "The people of the undercity deserve to breathe" was actually something Grayson said to Cassandra, which stuck with her.

When Cassandra died Tobias requested her to be buried next to Grayson. She was buried with both rings on.

she befriends a lady named Banchina she likes to visit her once in a while and brings her son usopp to play with them. They get closer like really close Sora is catching feelings practically having a second sexual awakening with this woman. She doesn't know what to do She didn't even know she was bisexual until now. That's how trapped she was in that miserable miserable marriage

Banchina is a lesbian (insert lavender marriage backstory right here we know the lore yasopp is being gay somewhere this ain't about him) she fell for this woman the minute she saw her she was head over heels. Gorgeous, beautiful. She needs her She wants her. She pursues her

Because I can't stop thinking about Sora raising the kids on her own in Syrup Village and they all have their little personalities and passions. And Sanji still loves to cook and is the sweetest thing that has ever existed. Honestly, he might not get his stubborn and strong personality from Zeff but he could most definitely get it from his brothers. 100%. If in this concept they act like normal siblings I can assure you they are arguing 24/7 (but they're very protective of Sanji because you will have to kill me before I give up my headcanon of the brothers actually loving Sanji a lot). So yadda yadda yadda he meets Usopp and they are best friends and they grow up together and they are boyfriends and the story is similar to the original except that there's no Zeff BUT Luffy does end up making these two idiots join. Except that they're boyfriends already. And the story doesn't change because they already look like boyfriends in canon.

But this isn't about them because I like women more!

Okay so Sora is the sweetest mother in the whole world but since she has to raise the kids on her own she also has to act tough sometimes and you know,,, It is a hard job when you have,,, 5 kids,,, Poor woman. But she loves her little angels SO much it's insane and they love her even MORE and they all help in their tiny little home in the village somehow. Tiny little family that is not so tiny because those are 5 kids. Girl,,, I just know Banchina would want to help her somehow. Usopp doesn't have that many friends and Banchina thinks it's a great idea to go visit Sora and the kids so Usopp has somebody to play with. And even if it's a bit hard because his personality clashes a lot with the brothers, he gets along the most with Sanji. Instant best friendism because Sanji looks so sweet and quiet and sensitive and Usopp goes full superhero mode on him. My pookies,,,

Honestly, Banchina is so real for falling for Sora right away. Because. You know. Have you seen Sora? I think Banchina admires her a lot because sometimes it's hard for her to raise Usopp on her own without Yasopp around and you're telling her Sora can do that same thing with 5 kids??? And Sora falls for Banchina too because. Again. Have you seen her??? And she is also so fun to be around and so so helpful!

Wouldn't it be extremely sweet but angsty if they started to fall in love, meeting even when the kids aren't around and doing chores together, but Sora feeling guilty because she thinks Banchina is actually married married to Yasopp? She doesn't know anything about the lavender marriage yet,,, And Banchina doesn't want to ask personal, intrusive things, so she doesn't know more than "They escaped from a bad place" about Sora and her kids. She guesses she doesn't want a romantic relationship now-- But she does!! Of course she does!!

Banchina is just,, So sweet to her and so so helpful and thoughtful. Sora isn't used to this much kindness in her life,, You have to keep in mind she basically got out of an abusive relationship and it's the first time somebody actually wants her for herself and not to use her. Banchina always wants to cook for her and help her with her groceries and look after the kids when Sora wants to take a nap. And I think Sora also would see her with Sanji cooking, stopping fights between the brothers and playing with them (also fixing their stuff bc I hc that Banchina knows her ways when it comes to like, mechanics and art and such), and talking for hours with Reiju and dancing with her. Sora is so in love,,, She has never felt like this before. She didn't even know she liked girls. But she doesn't want to make any sudden changes for the kids,, Again,, Or ruin what they have. So she stays quiet.

And Banchina loves painting, by the way. Obviously, because I say so (and bc I want Usopp to have a deeper reason to love art). So Banchina is always drawing Sora, at first absentmindedly, and later on she realizes the only thing that inspires her is Sora,,, She has always been looking for that. A true passion and stability and knowing she can trust somebody to stay and to offer her their heart so she can paint it. She's a bit intense when it comes to helping Sora, maybe, but she wants to be helpful! And Sora is always taking care of her too and her health!! Looking out for her and being oh so gentle and fun to be around. Sora is the sweetest but she's also a bit of a tease and her laugh is the cutest thing Banchina has ever heard. But yeah,,, Neither of them wants to confess even though they've almost kissed,,, A lot of times.

Okay,,, But wouldn't it be cute if Sanji and Usopp's crushes on each other started very early in their friendship and Sora and Banchina realized they have to be honest about their feelings thanks to their kids??? Because they both ask for advice from them about how to tell somebody you like them, and when they're both like "If you truly feel like it's meant to be you'll know... You need to follow your heart and be honest..." they know they have to finally be together together. They wouldn't tell their kids right away because they think they need to get used to more to this dynamic first and it's a big change. So they stay quiet and keep it to themselves. But, you know, Banchina and Usopp basically live with them now at this point so it's hard not to know.

Also,,, Can't stop thinking about Sora being a badass and knowing Judge is the most horrible person to ever exist BUT still having issues with relationships because of his fault? She still has this feeling of like, thinking she's worthless and needs to do more and more and more? And give give give? And Banchina helping her all the time and sharing the burden and seeing all the pretty things Judge found ugly in her,,,, It does wonders for her heart. And Banchina also realizes that she doesn't have to be alone and can share her passions and true feelings with somebody finally??? What if I cry.

Aghhhh. I absolutely adore this. The kids grow up and do their own things and Usopp and Sanji go with Luffy and they are all happy and there's no angst! And once they're alone they can be cottagecore middle-aged sapphics in their little village.

Her strong suits show more with their emotional needs though, she knows exactly how to cheer them up when they’re down. And she adjusts it to fit the needs of each kid, she knows they can’t all be comforted the same way. Contrary to popular belief I think Nene has a decent mom so she has a good example when it comes to parenting

• You better believe they bring signs and become full on cheerleaders at all their kids’ sports games

• They have a very fun home life and close family dynamic. Not close in a suffocating way, they all kinda do their own thing but they’re their to support each other every step of the way

• The type of moms to complain to the school when their kids aren’t immediately placed in the gifted program

• I think they would have two daughters. Family of four and it’s all girls, that sounds like the plot of a really emotional comedy movie

• Aoi would still be strict but Mei would help balance her out. She learns to relax more and veers more into overprotective territory. She’s the one who gives all the lectures but Mei makes funny faces at the girls when she’s trying to be serious which makes Aoi break character and laugh. They have a big garden because keeping flowers in the house upsets Mei’s allergies. She’s the type of wife and mother to surprise Aoi and the girls with gifts frequently. And she makes sure the girls stay in good health

• Aoi and Mei have both physically fought people to defend their girls and they will do it again

• They have twins!! A boy and a girl!! • Nene is a successful writer so she works a lot from home. She’s often busy with work tho so there are periods where her kids don’t see her as much, but she still tries to make time for them. Her outgoing personality really shines through as she gets older so she’s sort of the leader in their family…I don’t wanna say girlboss x malewife but that’s the vibe I’m getting. The kids admire her sm and she likes to take them on bonding days to catch up on them if she’s been busy for too long. Her flexible schedule allows her to play housewife sometimes tho so when the kids are younger and before her career really takes off, she sees them way more

• Amane becomes a science teacher (duh). I see the kids as being more reserved like him so he has a bit of a closer bond with them, he’s the one they go to with their emotional needs. That doesn’t mean he’s the favorite parent tho, he’s just able to relate to them a bit more. When they get older they inevitably have him as a teacher and that’s super embarrassing (but ik one of those little losers is excited to see their dad at school every day). He’s not really overprotective but he does keep a first aid kit nearby incase one of the kids gets hurt

• One of the twins is a bit more similar to Amane and the other is more like Tsukasa, just way toned down (think of the Pines family from Gravity Falls)

• They aren’t the most conventional family but they’re extremely happy. Nene invites their friends over a lot so the twins grow up with a safe found family group. And yes, Tsukasa babysits a lot. If he loses one of the kids for an hour or so, Nene and Amane never have to find out

What I think Violetta and Soy Luna character’s favorite animes are*

*I am only going from animes I myself have seen or are familiar with. I know for a fact that a LOT of animes were popular in Latam that logically the characters should have been familiar with and possibly would have fitted better as their favorite. However, there is a lot of animes I have seen/am familiar with that I know was popular in latam, too (Candy Candy especially). And the ones that weren’t popular there that I bring up… well, let’s just say it was just like with a lot of us, they found it later in life and was like ”omg where has this been all my life” and watched it on a pirate site.

Violetta: Hello! Sandybell. She got very inspired by Sandybell making a garden for her (supposedly) dead mother and she wanted to do it too. She also liked the way Sandybell traveled across Europe, the way she also did.

Luna: Sailor Moon. How can she not, it’s moon themed /j I also think Luna really saw herself in Usagi and appreciated there was a main character that was clumsy, often late, ditzy and didn’t get the best grades just like her, and how despite that still could kick ass and save the world.

Francesca: Lady Oscar. Ok this was kinda inspired by Lodo herself posting a photo with a Lady Oscar T-shirt, and some time later answering an ask about periods with ”think about Lady Oscar! She also had her period under all of those tight suits and armor, and she could still be a badass!”. It was also kinda inspired by me knowing just how fucking popular Lady Oscar was in Italy… but yeah I also feel like Fran was very fascinated with it.

Nina: Candy Candy. I think Nina most of all was fascinated with the history aspects, especially as they reached the WWI parts. But she also loved how Candy seemed to experience so much hardships, and yet still could keep going and be so strong. It felt very inspiring, especially as her parents were fighting in the background. Things will get better.

Camila: Oniisama e. She found this anime when she was a little older, and goes around bragging about how "no one knows about it except for her". She loved how basically every character was a lesbian (at least, they were in her head), and she called them cowards every time they "forced" them into hetero relationships. But she also just loved all the female friendships in general and got slightly annoyed whenever they focused on any boy.

Simón: I think also Sailor Moon, because I think he had a crush on Tuxedo Mask and him and Luna played that they were Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask a lot when they were kids. But, I think he also really liked Pokémon.

Naty: The Moomins anime. As she grew up in Spain, she got the castellano dub and got so surprised when she moved to Argentina and found out there was a latino dub they had there instead. Anyway, she really loved the whole atmosphere and vibes of the moomins and wished she could live in that utopia.

Ámbar: I think as a child she was only allowed to watch Candy Candy, as Sharon had seen it herself as a child and approved of it (I feel like Sharon had a list of pre-approved kids shows and movies Ámbar could watch), but then once she grew older she discovered Revolutionary Girl Utena. And she just fell in love with it. She has rewatched it so many times, always finding new ways to interpret the metaphors and allegories. She also has some deep emotions about and she didn't realize until much later why she felt so strongly about it...

Ludmila: Immediately I'm like... Starzinger... because it's a space adventure. I do not have much else to go from this lmao (because I have not at all properly watched the anime, just random swedubbed clips). However, it also feels like Ludmila's vibe.

Ramiro: He is a big Pokémon boy. I literally imagine him running around the school yard as a kid pretending to be James from Team Rocket. I can see him being into One Piece, too.

Leon: I don't know why, but Digimon. It just seems like his vibe idk.

Jim: Pretty Cure, the first show specifically. I think she always wanted a best friend she could be a magical girl with <3

Diego: Silver Fang. I know this anime was only popular and even translated in very few countries, but I believe Diego managed to find it somehow (maybe a fansubbed version on an old pirate site that no longer exists) and just thought it was the most edgy thing ever. But then he got super scared of bears for years due to it.

Yam: Oh, Revolutionary Girl Utena, but she also has made it her mission to watch every sapphic and sapphic-coded animes ever. She's also a big fan of underrated ones like Oniisama e. She has also specifically only watched season 3 and season 5 of Sailor Moon. So, I think she kind of really switches a favorite, but I believe RGU just hit her the most.

Cassti is my protag and I love her so have some headcanons!!

Disclaimer: I have not finished the game. I've only played through the Cassti's chapter 2.

Honestly I was not expecting to like her as much as I do but from the start she's been so damned compelling. I love her.

Very pragmatic

She's the epitome of "I'm a healer, but."

Like this is a deeply kind and compassionate woman but like. Do no harm take no shit. Some problems can best be solved with rest and fluids and an herbal tincture. Some problems can best be solved with a battle axe.

Extremely smart, like at the top of her field as an apothecary.

The second any of the other travelers realize how much medical knowledge she has they start pressuring her to write books or teach or found a medical school or something. Half of them even have ideas for how to fund it!

...She'll consider it if/when her joints start to go bad and she can't travel anymore.

So pre-amnesia Cassti was probably a lesbian (and in love with Malaya), but I feel like she's still reconstructing her sense of self post-amnesia and is more open than she would have been otherwise because there just. Isn't anything for her to go on.

She ends up poly and bi, in a polycule with Throné, Hikari, and Partitio.

Said polycule was originally just Throne, HIkari, and Cassti, and had not really progressed beyond a mutual acknowledgement of attraction and an understanding that maybe we'll do something about this sexual tension After The War TM, but Partitio is very free with physical affection and eventually broke down the walls between all four of them without meaning to.

For Partitio, Cassti is attracted to his optimism and charm and strong sense of right and wrong, as well as his determination to back up any of the ridiculous moves he made in the name of doing the right thing. He's not just bluster, he always puts in the work to back up his word and she likes that. He's also an easy mark to tease and that's fun.

Hikari was the first companion Cassti met on the road, and Cassti's first close companion post-amnesia. She's attracted to his grace and dignity, as well as his strong sense of duty and strong moral compass. They have similar worldviews and perspectives on a lot of things, despite coming from very different backgrounds.

Cassti's attracted to Throné because I'm a long-time thief/apothecary shipper and I'm not stopping now of Throne's sharp wit and sense of humor, as well as her grace and sense of fashion. She also admires Throné's determination to pursue her goals and is a little jealous of Throné's ability to be selfish, and really wants to see who Throné becomes once she's free of the collar.

...Every one of Cassti's partners made the first move. Cassti's very reserved and pragmatic and in the wake of the amnesia was really not looking for romance (let alone so much of it). She's not really sure how she ended up here, but she's happy.

She's always been somewhat reserved and a bit of a workaholic, but it's only gotten worse since she amnesia because her medical knowledge is all she has left.

Lost what few coping mechanisms she had in the war

Is a good patient as long as she's the only patient. Is a terrible patient the second someone else is also injured

Every time it is suggested that she get a hobby for relaxation purposes, she somehow manages to turn it back into work. Loves gardening! Only grows medicinal plants, etc.

Gender-wise, Cassti is pretty solidly in the middle of the butch/femme spectrum. She'd probably be actually more butch, except her gender presentation is more about managing other people's expectations first and expressing her own preferences second.

Like seriously. She's designed her entire presentation around "Even if you only catch the hem of her skirt out of the corner of your eye, you know you've seen a member of Eir's apothecaries and can ask for help if you need it."

Like Temenos, she also feels that presenting as the gender she's chosen to present as is the one that grants her the most social benefits on the path she's chosen to walk.

She would not consider herself trans or nonbinary, but she's not at all attached to her femininity. The skirt uniform and long hair and she/her pronouns just contribute to the impression she wants to give off, which is "helpful apothecary."

I started crocheting and I made some gay flowers for my gay books!

Im about to rant about flowers and gay people so when youre done looking at my awsome flower book marks scroll if you dont wanna read like 4 paragraphs

So fun facts about these flowers in case you didn't already know!! As we all know some flowers mean different things (you can go deeper with floriography which is so neat) and they are just generally used in symbolism. We know lillies, specifically white ones, are used for funerals (at least in the west) and red Roses are for love we assign flowers and plants for roles often times by their looks, locations, and histories.

First we will talk about the Violet. So back in yee olden days in ancient Greece around 600-500 bce there was a poet named Sapho. She is important for a couple reasons 1) she was a woman and misogyny has been around since before Jesus (literally) ancient greece had some cool stuff and had some cool policies like that they (from what ive read) were pretty considerate of different religions even having some temples for immagrants for them to pray in but they also had stuff like slavery and generally hated women. And 2) she was the first ever documented woman who explicitly liked other women and wrote about it.

Sapho, being the pretty popular poet she was, made poems about her love of women and in one of them she talked about a beautiful woman wearing violets. That line is where we get the connection of violets to lesbians (and wlw people in general). People have refrenced her violets a lot in history some have also used diffrent purple flowers as well to show their love to other women.

Next we got the Pansy. This connection has been around for at least a little over a 100 years. Pansy has been used as an insult for queer men bc theyre delicate flowers and such and grrr flowers are feminine men are are big and strong hrumph. The term "pasny craze" was made in like the 20s bc queer people were really coming full swing well not really but more and more people knew of our existence and they weren't happy about it (shocker i know). To sum it up its more of a reclaiming something that was used against us there was even a bar named after the flower. To add on there is another flower used to represent gay men and this one was a bit more like flagging. This being the Carnation(my personal favorite flower) specifically the green one. The one and only *Oscar Wilde* wore one in his breast pocket which in turn trickled down to the every day gay mans consciousness.

Maybe we should think about flowers more i know i do. I cant grow a garden bc i dont like to go outside and bc the sun here is evil but someone should grow a gay garden for me. That would make you a real horticulture lad *ba dum tisk*

Custom Toonami Block Week 175 Rundown

The Witch from Mercury: So IMMEDIATELY after Sul’s duel with Gaston everyone goes ‘wait aren’t the suits that suck the life out of you banned because our war chief is a bloodthirsty dictator?’ and she immediately gets arrested and kicked out of school. Meanwhile Mio’s been told that she’s no longer forced to marry the school’s top pilot and her father is cutting out the middleman and just arranging a marriage for her which she’s like what 16 even for a high business monarchy style thing it seems a little early to lock that down that hard. Also just kinda wondering what the point of even playing at the ‘oh it’s whoever the best is’ if you’re just gonna immediately cut the façade whenever it’s someone you don’t want like why not just force a marriage from the start. Anyway Mio’s like ‘bitch I wanted to marry the gay girl how dare you take back your orders and give me new ones’ like she doesn’t like being told what to do but explicitly seemed a lot more chill about it when it was Sul. Gaston gets beaten by his father for losing and we allude to him being slightly less shitty than we were initially led to believe since he did send some people to clean up Mio’s garden. The bigwigs are all having a NERV-style meeting of shadowy figures and our resident obligatory Masked Gundam Character Prospera is like ‘yeah it looks and functions exactly like a Gundam but it didn’t suck her soul out so it can’t be one, right?’ and no one’s fucking buying that and also it’s a bunch of old men high on their own power so they’re just like ‘well you’re under arrest for building something that functions exactly like the thing we banned then’. Meanwhile Mio shows up, redicrecting her escape attempt to Earth to save Sul and telling her father off and basically having a badass teenage tantrum in a shareholder’s meeting, like it’s kinda cool how blatantly petty and personal her grievances are that it takes some balls to bring it up the way she does surrounded by the most important people in the world that just sentenced a masked lady to jail for technically not breaking the law. She challenges her dad to fight the Aerial and reinstate her engagement to Sul which he has absolutely no obligation to accept given idk if Corporations should really work on Klingon rules anyway and if you’re gonna take shit from him say if you win you get the whole company, go big or go home. But the group discusses that the illegal suit is pretty dope and they wanna get some more data out of it so they agree to let Sul fight to save her Gundam and her lesbian fiancée so that’s good.  

Inuyasha The Final Act: Inuyasha and co. are still soaking in Kikyo’s death and Koga gets an admittedly nice sendoff where he gets to leave on good terms with Kagome as well as get enough out of a rise out of Inuyasha to snap him out of his post-Kikyo coma and get him to resolve to make Koga’s sacrifice worthwhile. I like how Koga intentionally says the most triggering shit just to piss him off at this point like he’s really become self-aware as a character and knows what his role is. Also as another character that embodies the ‘the power to achieve your dreams is inside you’ moral of the story he started out seeking the jewel to obtain the power to unite the wolf demon tribes and ends up so strong that losing his jewel shards is basically just a minor inconvenience and ends up in a relationship that does in fact unite the fractured parts of the tribes. Meanwhile Sesshomaru is talking to his mom about trying to master Meidou Zangetsuha and ends up getting Kohaku and Rin dragged into the underworld during the training. I feel like Sesshomaru’s mom is such wasted potential like she has so little screentime and is basically a plot device they could’ve done so much more with. Once she reveals that Rin can’t be revived again by the Tenseiga Sesshomaru’s grief and compassion evolves both the healing and the meidou side of Tenseiga so he can purify a hundred souls as it was originally stated and create a much larger Meidou Zangetsuha, though Rin still has to be brought back with Mommymaru’s necklace of convenience. It’s really funny that Jaken takes it upon himself to be Sesshomaru’s emotion translator at this point since he knows he’s stoic enough not to cry when Rin dies despite wanting to and also won’t  thank his mom for saving her despite being thankful. Last but not least she tells Kohaku he also can’t be saved by Tenseiga in case people were starting to think that now that he and Sesshomaru are together, apparently you only get one free get out of death free card regardless of the source so yeah. Inuyasha’s group make it their new mission to hunt down and protect Kohaku so they can figure out what to do now that Naraku has 99.9% of the jewel.  

Castlevania: So I’mma be honest, this is where the Internal Vampire politics get kinda frustrating, like I’ve had it in the back of my head that all this infighting may just be a way to ruin Dracula’s otherwise impregnable plan and have a heroic victory while both evil sides are fighting each other and I’m still worried about that considering we’ve spent more time with them than with Trevor this season but in this episode we even find out that all the shit Carmilla wants to do Dracula would’ve just let her do anyway like he doesn’t give a shit, she wants to usurp his armies and the one move that she’s been gunning for since she walked in the door they’re just like ‘sure go nuts’ and the planning of the past like three episodes has basically been for that. I’m getting ahead of myself, Trevor’s group stuff first since we actually make some progress on that this episode. Basically Alucard gives Sypha the reverse speech that Trevor gave her last time about how he’s a dick and they can’t really trust him and like 75% of this show at this point is untrustworthy vampires telling people they can’t trust people. Sypha wisely asserts they’re both morons and they’ve gotta suck it up and get to world-saving or else everyone’s fucked. But yeah back on Carmilla’s weird warpath they don’t know Godbrand’s dead and Isaac is called by Hector to get him to sign off on going to Braila and get in on the Carmilla cult. Isaac is not down for Carmilla but he is for the Braila plan since it means everyone can shut up about it and Carmilla can stop whining so the politics of it don’t functionally matter, like it’s been such a long fight for this and it doesn’t functionally matter because they just do it anyway. Granted Isaac does it because it means their traitors are all in one place with a name and a face and Hector does it because everyone that talks to Carmilla is like ‘Carmilla is always going on about how she doesn’t trust or respect anyone but I’M DIFFERENT, I’M THE SPECIAL ONE’ like Godbrand was a fucking moron so that was fine but geez she’s not even being seductive enough for them to be thinking with their dicks they’re just idiots, she’s not even good at the manipulation considering if she’d just asked Dracula to do it he’s so done at this point he prolly would’ve. She doesn’t even bother to pretend this was Hector’s independent idea and follows him into the room coaching him and shit. Like the only functional thing this does is make Carmilla the Commander in Chief for this fight for… some reason, and like it’s not even a good argument because the two sides are ‘do something’ and ‘do nothing’ and Carmilla has the balls to be all ‘haha now you’re in too deep Hector so I don’t have to pretend to like you anymore’ like BITCH AS LEAST WAIT TILL YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THE REINS like holy shit all you did was convince Dracula to do something he wasn’t all that adverse to doing in the first place you’re not exactly Sosuke Aizen and she has this weird girl power bent to some of her speeches and I’d really rather girls just do the badass girl power thing instead of talking about how girly and empowered they are all the time. Long story short I don’t really like Carmilla and this plot had a really weird end to this section of the season for basically taking up half the runtime. Meanwhile, actual girl power girl Sypha found a way to trap Castlevania in one place as long as she can jerry-rig an ending to the spell that’s like 80% done but she doesn’t have a lot of time because the castle just showed up like… five minutes ago.

Jujutsu Kaisen: It’s Mahito versus Nobara time and apparently Mahito’s clone can’t transfigure souls and can only do the Clayface body warping shit and Nobara actually figures this out and uses the clone’s body as a substitute Straw Doll like she did with the other guy’s arm cause semantically the clone is basically Mahito’s arm and she wrecks him up from long distance, saving Yuji from an ambush in the process and giving him the opportunity to beat the shit out of Mahito while he’s stunlocked. Rather than keep going through that shit, Mahito employs the Joestar Family’s Secret Technique and books it the fuck out of there. The two Mahitos actually meet up and switch, the real one attacking Nobara while Yuji beats the other one’s head in. Mahito gives Nobara’s face a quick tap and isn’t sure if he killed her, like this whole exchange is excruciatingly vague about whether she’s dead or not but we jump straight into her backstory which isn’t a good sign. It’s basically a fleshed-out version of the story she told in the beginning of the series. I feel like this happens a lot where characters in long-running series have simple backstories at the beginning and then have a secondary supplemental flashback to beef up the tragedy or reframe the original flashback, half the cast of One Piece has done this at this point but for Nobara it’s an interesting retelling of her story through the eyes of her friends and giving a ‘this is your life’ type deal about who she’s loved and why she’s done what she’s done that gives a lot better of an idea of who she is than her original introduction. But yeah her eye fucking explodes which is weirdly not how we’ve seen Mahito’s powers work anywhere else but it was just a light tap while he was in a hurry and maybe her energy resisted it or something. Given that and the vagueness where even Mahito’s not sure if it was enough to kill her I’m tempted to say she’s not dead because usually you don’t want to be ambiguous about that shit unless you’re gearing up for a big return but as far as I know the manga’s already fighting Sukuna at this point and she’s yet to make a comeback so who fucking knows.

Delicious in Dungeon: After Laios’s sword gets busted he tells the story of how he got it fighting a bunch of living armor in the dungeon and how he fucked up and died the first time, confirming that death does indeed have no consequences which explains Marcille’s dialogue in the first episode and why no one seems too worried about rushing to get Falin. Still I’d say if death has no consequences in your series that’s something you’d want to establish right away because that is kind of an investment breaker, something like how DBZ put limits on the dragon balls at first and made loopholes harder so death isn’t just meaningless like it is in the Buu Saga. Still I kinda like this episode since it’s mainly focused on one thing and the food stuff doesn’t get in the way of the storytelling too much. They manage to sneak past the living armor colony and Laios fights Ornstein and it turns out it’s a bunch of mollusks living in the layers of the armor and doing weird goopy Alphonse Elric shit. They cook them and Laios gets Ornstein’s sword but it has a mollusk living inside it still so he’s basically got a living weapon which is pretty neat.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End: Frieren confronts Aura and surprisingl the Autistic Elf Power Hour has its second encounter with Living Armor this week, what’re the odds? Aura basically has the Millenium Scales except instead of summoning a demon to eat a Musuem Curator she weighs their power level and just instantly controls anyone weaker than her with the caveat that if someone stronger than her shows up she just automatically gets controlled instead. I’m kinda sad this means Aura doesn’t actually have a demon army like this was just a plot by four guys and not a whole organized force but I guess it’s fine. She uses an anti-spell spell to dispel the control instead of blasting nameless husks into the ground and desecrating their corpses because Himmel yelled at her last time for disrespecting the dead. Aura asks her why she cares what a corpse thinks and oh it is ON now. Meanwhile Fern and Stark are preparing for Stark to book it out of dodge and try and get Frieren back to fight the other two demons when they get caught in an ambush by Blood Sephiroth and the little girl. Turns out the little girl’s powers are Unlimited Blade Works/Sharingan shenanigans where she can create a weapon and mimic a fighting style by watching it enough and she’s just so happened to have copied Eisen’s style during the first war and decks Stark with his own moves but better. Meanwhile it seems Fern’s ability is Quick Draw and she can just fire off spells crazy rapid and puts the push on Blood Sephiroth in a really cool fight that creates literal fireworks. Stark takes Eisen’s words of “Just don’t die, stupid” to heart and does that thing from Samurai Champloo where if you leave yourself wide open enough it leaves the enemy wide open for their counterattack and destroys the little girl so yay, two down two to go.

Vinland Saga: War has reached Ketil’s farm and he’s got about 300 farners with pitchforks versus Canute’s 100 Jommvikings and Royal Theigns so yeah it’s basically the coughing baby versus the hydrogen bomb. Luckily Thorfinn’s met up with Leif and Leif’s a fucking chad and agrees to take on all of Thorfinn’s extra baggage he’s gathered over the past season and transport Arnheid out of there while the fighting’s going on. Snake tells his men that Ketil is a fraud and was never a war hero because he knew the guy his name was actually based on and came to him for help but at the same time he feels indebted to the family that’s taken care of him all this time and it’s really funny to watch his speech about how Ketil’s a fraud and not worth dying over right as he goes out to die for him fires his men up more than anything, like actions really do speak louder than words. Ketil’s kinda bought into his own hype at this point and isn’t listening to the dozens of people telling him he’s going into a meatgrinder and yeah it’s a fucking massacre, I imagined Thorfinn would be more upset watching this or trying to actively broker peace talks but I guess he’s got other shit on his plate right now since Arnheid’s on death’s door and got her ghost husband’s permission to go say her last goodbyes. Meanwhile Thorgil’s just gonna pop out of the ocean buck naked with a sword and try and cut Canute’s head off behind enemy lines so that’s… a plan I guess. I have no clue how he intends to get out of there even if he succeeds but okay, you do your naked regicide.

Put On Your Raincoats | Wild Things II (De Renzy, 1986)

I did not watch this so I could make a “We have Wild Things 2 (2004) at home” joke, because I haven’t seen that movie and this seems to be better liked by my Letterboxd circle going by the average ratings. So if anything, whenever I watch that, I might make a “We have Wild Things 2 (1986) at home” joke. Which probably won’t be for a while. Because it looks bad. Also I haven’t seen Wild Things (1998) yet.

Anyway, if you’re watching it for the usual reasons one watches these things, the performers are in fine form and the energy level is nicely varied both across and within scenes, so as to keep things from becoming repetitive. I do think the premises of the vignettes here are on average not as strong as in the earlier entry. The first one presented something of a twist or at least a novel arc with each of its vignettes, so that there was some surprise in how they played out. Here…let’s take the first segment, where Joanna Storm tells us about the importance of water in California as she tends to her garden. I am not a gardening expert so I cannot vouch for how much of a green thumb she has, but the garden looked green enough in the transfer I watched this on. (Also, I might be mistaken, but one of the plants looked like it could be the wacky tobaccy. The devil’s lettuce. Marry-hoo-wana. But I’ll keep that to myself as I don’t want Joanna Storm getting in trouble with Johnny Law.) So then she mentions some hunky guy comes up and delivers two big water bottles to her every day. So then the guy comes up, and she just straight up has sex with her. Which is fine, I think they should do what makes them happy, but there’s no twist to this. It’s perfectly possibly she found him attractive, but the movie doesn’t really set this up. The guy is already bringing her water, so it’s not like she’s fucking him for transactional reasons. I dunno, I needed more in the way of motivation. The scene is still super hot, by the way.

This one is hosted by Kari Foxx, who comes across as a lot more polished than Jill Ferrar in the original. Her style is more in line with John Leslie in Ball Busters, in that she keeps bringing up the phrase from the title in her dialogue, although she uses a generally accepted definition. (Unfortunately, she doesn’t go the Deathstalker II route and try to work in the entire title. “I’ll have my revenge, and wild things too.”) She even gets a segment of her own, with Leslie no less, which makes this something of a King Kong vs. Godzilla of loop carrier hosts. I will say that I missed the giddy, “let’s wing it” energy that Ferrar brought in the earlier movie, where half the fun is that she can’t seem to keep a straight face.

Anyway, I just rambled on about how the sketches aren’t quite as good and I didn’t like the hosting style quite as much either, so to keep things fair and balanced, here are some highlights:

This is made only a year after the first one, but has way more electro on the soundtrack. Not a complaint, just an observation.

Nikki Charm is cute as a button as she interviews pornstar Joey Silvera to write an article for career week. Among other things, Silvera vents about the difficulties of doing dialogue while mid-coitus and uses a number of football analogies.

Amber Lynn plays a bankrobber who has to relieve Dick Rambone of his blue balls so they can get back to robbing banks. She attempts an accent that seems to slip by the end of every sentence, but let’s just say there are other things to pay attention to. Like her ’30 bankrobber outfit.

Chris Chase’s shorts seem to defy the laws of physics as the inseam seems much too short to hide his equipment.

The lesbian threesome features three performers (Chanel Price, Shanna McCullough and Regine Bardot) who are successively about a foot apart in height. Had this been released a few years later, it could have been reshaped into a pornographic parody of Twins.

John Leslie plays some sort of doctor of sexual dysfunction, but is shown using the bathroom without washing his hands, which I assume is a violation of the Hippocratic Oath. Later he puts on mummy bandages and tries to peek up Kari Foxx’s skirt, before we get a hard cut to the two of them in flagrante delicto. As you can see, De Renzy understands the importance of editing. Foxx mentions she’s a narcissist who gets off on seeing herself in action, which seems like it’s setting up the same collapsing of performer, director and viewer in the Joanna Storm segment of Ball Busters, but the conflation is much less forceful here.

"That's great." You said as you continued to scan the room for Carol.

"It was, you should'a been there." Tyler said as he looked back at you, or more he looked above the line of your low hanging top. You shifted uncomfortably under his gaze.

"I was at Carol's game." Tyler didn't react to the mention of your girlfriend. It wasn't like he didn't know you were dating, everyone knew. Carol made sure of that.

"Come on, I'm sure there's some spare rooms upstairs." There was a slight slur to his voice that made it even worse when he approached you and put a heavy hand on your waist.

"Get off me, Tyler!" You snapped and pushed his hand away but he continued with a frown.

"What? Don't you want this-" He was cut off when a fist shot out beside you and punched him across the face. Tyler staggered back, gripping his bleeding nose, as the people around you cheered loudly, oblivious to what had happened prior.

"Get your fucking hands off my girlfriend." Carol demanded as she continued to advance towards a cowarding Tyler who could only hold his hands out in defence. You pulled Carol away with to turn her towards you and Tyler scrambled to his feet to flee.

"Are you okay?" Concerned and familiar eyes met yours that instantly eased your worry. Carol brought her hands gently up to your face as she scanned you closely and you were surprised to see that she looked completely sober.

You nodded your head and breathed out a yes before you took her right hand away from your face to examine it carefully. The dull lighting in the room made it hard to make out but you could feel that there was nothing out of place.

Tyler had a bandage across his nose for a while. He had avoided you like the plague ever since, clearly have some sense in him.

"Want some company?" Came a voice from beside you. You glanced sideways and saw Sharon fall easily into place next to you. She mirrored your position of leaning against the barrier and gave you a knowing smile.

"Thanks." You breathed out, feeling kind of embarrassed someone had noticed Carol always seemed to ditch you at parties.

"Is it that obvious?" You asked but weren't sure you really wanted to know.

Before Mystery Incorporated shat the bed, the Shelma shippers had good content to make their base.

In “Scooby Doo, Where are You?” Shaggy is the one that has Velma’s spare glasses with him. Velma knows when he is sick and has his medicine in her pockets. 

In “Shaggy and Scooby Doo, Get a Clue” after spending a long period of time away from the gang, when they are reunited, Shaggy asks her to repeat “Jinkies” because he misses her saying it.

In the second live action movie “Scooby Doo 2, Monsters Unleashed” they have a beautiful heart to heart about how Velma views Shaggy and Scooby not as the screw ups they believe themselves to be but as free people that are not afraid of being who they truly are.

In “Be Cool Scooby Doo” they engage in each others interests (Shaggy engaging with a book about the history of the pretzel while Velma eats said pretzel)

The are other moments and interactions through out the 50 years that Scooby doo has been on the air (I recommend watching all of it to really get a grasp on the dynamics and free yourself from the pop culture understanding of things like, fun fact, on “Scooby Doo, Where are you?” the ones that were kidnapped the most where Shaggy and Scooby, not Daphne.)

The only thing stoping you from shipping Shelma are the following:

You don’t vibe with it.

You only watched SDMI and nothing else and assume you have a perfect grasp on 50 years on the franchise and the inner dynamics... somehow

and that’s it.

For me, with my poly gang, the dynamics grown and change the more i work with them but Shaggy and Velma are working with a mutual supporting relationship built over years together (some of that is build upon the canon, others are my own additions).

Sharing interests (Velma is deeply intrigued with magic and its properties and Shaggy, as a young wizard, loves sharing his researches with her), bonding over their experiences as older siblings, gardening together, doing sports together (Velma lifts weights aka Shaggy + some heavy books because the boy weights the same as a feather for her, while Shaggy does gymnastics over Velma’s strong shoulders Maybe i should draw this someday) and many little other things that are just theirs and many little other things that are theirs and Daphne’s and Fred’s.

That’s the thing I love the most about poly gang. 

It’s a merry-go-round of love that spins and spins around its own axis, never faltering.
