I take it back, I'm embracing how suggestive this looks. Have a final lineart WIP in case the colouring and shading take ages. Pure lineart without the greys below.

If you want context, this illustration depicts a scene taking place towards the end of this story I'm working on. Unfortunately, i haven't had time to work on it the past two months... Which is a shame, because I want to have the three chapters lined up before sharing it, since each one will be quite long. We're 17k words in, so I believe the fic will be around 30k total. I wanna share it so badddd

AUGHH The site update was sooooo good- It motivated me to finish something I've been wanting to do for a while now: tweak and redesign the RW AU designs!!

Looking at the old one it's crazy to see how far they've come, being around before the Halloween update-- idk it's fun to see, same w my art style changes!! <3

FINISHED!!! I've been going insane trying to draw this over the past week. I love how ryuji and yusuke are super impulsive... passing the impulse control back and forth lol

I don’t think yusuke would throw the *first* punch, but I think there are some situations where ryuji would back down and yusuke would throw down. like, ryuji would argue back and forth and then try to leave, but yusuke would keep arguing until the other person takes a swing. “While I abhor the idea of senseless violence, certain people simply refuse to see reason”… is the kind of thing I think he’d say. remorseless lol. which would lead into ryuji being like “dude you just punched a guy out, I don’t think you get to say that.”

also, yusuke's punching with his left hand so his art hand remains uncompromised. Very Important Detail
