May I request warlords had a big fight with MC until she cried, and now they have to comfort her because she is locking herself in a room and refused to come out. (She is sulking) What if they are married? Thank you!
Hello! Ohh this one will be sweet! Thank you for the request.
Warlords comfort MC after a big fight.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
Nobunaga is the kind of person who, when faced with problems with his relationship and doesn’t know how to handle it, will call all the warlords for a war council to ask for advice. It wasn’t his intention to make you cry, but now it was too late since you wouldn’t come out of your room.
After taking in all the advice he receives, Nobunaga stays on the other side of the door to your room and begins apologizing, offering to share his favorite candy with you. He will keep doing it until you open the door.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
Hideyoshi doesn’t like fights, he tries his best to avoid them. Specially when they can lead you to cry. But on the occasion that it happens, he will try his best to spoil you until you aren’t upset anymore.
If you lock yourself away, he will be making constant visits to try and talk to you and leave a gift for you, all that until you open the door.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
Mitsuhide pays attention to not go overboard with fights, precisely because he doesn’t want to argue and hurt you. But if that happens, he will make sure you don’t even have time to lock yourself away.
The moment tears fall from your eyes, he will pull you into a hug and comfort you with sweet gestures.
Mitsunari Ishida.
Fights? What fights? Mitsunari is too sweet of a person to actually make anyone cry, even if a fight does happen.
Ieyasu Tokugawa.
Ieyasu can be… harsh with his words, and that’s something he tries to work on as to not upset you. If a fight does occur, he will flinch and freeze once he sees that you are crying.
He will calm down and apologize for his words, feeling guilty that he made you shed tears because of him.
Masamune Date.
Masamune will think a lot about how to ask for forgiveness, and after a lot of thought put into it, he will cook your favorite food to attract you out of the room. The moment you are out, lots of kisses and a tight hug awaits.
He will easily comfort you and melt all your anger away.
Ranmaru Mori.
Again, what fight? This another sweet guy can’t stand the thought of making you upset and wouldn’t start an argument, he wouldn’t want to see you crying.
Keiji.
Keiji is another one who doesn’t pay attention to how harsh he may sound until it’s too late, he will curse himself for hurting you and will think of ways to cheer you up.
The best way for him to apologize would be, ironically, being honest with you and tell you how he feels and that he didn’t want to make you upset.
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
Kenshin would actually think of punishing himself, he is willing to destroy anything that may hurt you, that includes himself. Of course, after the others convince him to focus on making you feel better, he will do his best to comfort you.
Considering that he can be a bit… extra, kenshin will arrange many gifts and have all the bunnies surrounding you to give you comfort.
Shingen Takeda.
Shingen could never forgive himself for making you cry, he really was a full. For starters, he hates arguments and tries to avoid them. But when it happens, he thinks a lot on what to do to apologize and comfort you. Thousands of sweet words, kisses and apologies would come your ways
As well as him calling himself a fool for even making you cry.
Yukimura Sanada.
Yukimura will panic when he sees you crying, he didn’t mean to but it ended up happening. What will he do? He freaks out and tries desperately to calm you down and comfort you.
Of course, he was scolded by shingen and was given advice on how to apologize to you. Part of the advice he wouldn’t be able to pull it off, mostly because it was Shingen’s idea on how to apologize, but he still managed to be honest without saying something rude.
Yoshimoto Imagawa.
Yoshimoto is another who avoids fights at all costs, even if an argument is about to start. He is good with words, so if he ends up upsetting you, he will know how to comfort you immediately.
Sasuke.
Sasuke is a peaceful guy, he wouldn’t even start an argument. In fact, he is incapable of it.
Kanetsugu.
Kanetsugu can be… another rough and harsh man, so he makes a lot of effort in comforting you. He lowers his voice and holds you before you can lock yourself away in a separate room.

hi ! Could I request (Ikemen Sengoku) Kenshin's, Mitsuhide's and Yukimura's reaction/scenerio to finding out y/n is pregnant ?? Their first reaction and maybe some afterthoughts , would they prefer girl or boy are they anxious stuff like that ^^
IkeSen HCs: Pregnant SO
Suitors: Mitsuhide, Kenshin, Yukimura
Tumblr media
Mitsuhide
Oh ho...what a surprise.
To be honest, it wouldn't be too shocking that he probably figured out she was pregnant before she did.
He is happy of course, though he will likely focus on teasing her about it.
But inside he is just a little conflicted about being a parent, let alone about whether he would make for a good one. He has no doubt that Y/N will be a splendid mother. Him as a father....debatable.
However, he will resolve to be there for her and take care of her every step of the way, she will want for nothing.
He finds himself deep in thought ever since discovering her pregnancy. Contemplating. Planning. He wants this child to grow up happy and safe, but he also knows life tends to have other plans.
If he had to choose between genders, he'd pick a little girl. He will unabashedly say he'd a little girl to spoil and tease as much as he teases his little mouse.
"Now wouldn't that be fun, hm?"
Kenshin
He...almost doesn't understand what she is talking about?
A child? Inside her? What was it doing there?
Logically he knows how it got there but...
His initial reaction may not be the best, as he is not entirely sure how to take it, not because he necessarily upset, even if he may seem that way at first.
He may come off as sullen or despondent at first, but that's only out of shock and maybe some worry.
He doesn't consider it a bad thing when he settles and actually thinks about it. Truth be told, the more he does think about it, the more he likes the idea of having a child with Y/N. A bit apprehensive but glad, even if he doesn't say as much.
He will feel infinitely more protective of her, being extra picky about who is near, how near they are and for how long. This particularly applies to Shingen.
He will cut any potential threat to her and his unborn child to pieces.
He doesn't think too much about the gender but...perhaps a boy? And then the next baby will be a girl. In that order.
"Why settle for just one of them? We will have both."
Yukimura
Ehhhh!?!
He is broken. Has ceases to function.
He feels as though she is joking at first but no, she is very much carrying a baby.
His baby no less... Well of course its his, there would be no way it could be anyone else's!
Yuki is...losing his mind a little here. He is just short of mentally running around in circles, as though she is already in labour.
Of course he is overjoyed in ways that can't be described. Once the shock has dissipated, he will pick her up and spin her around, his smile capable of lighting up the night sky with it's brightness.
He does worry about being a good father to the baby, but he vows in his heart he will do everything in his power to be there for his child.
He may not mind the gender of the baby, but if asked, he may say he would prefer a girl. If asked why, he may stutter and grumble that he just wants one, avoiding eye contact and his cheeks tinting red a bit.
"...I want her to be as pretty as Y/N..."

Chapter 34: Turn the Page. An impatient Katsu discovers that Yoshimoto travels at his own pace - but maybe he has the correct idea?
Mitsuhide x OC; Hideyoshi x MC (Mai)
All Chapters Archived on Ao3
Logline - With Mai, Hideyoshi, and Aki missing, Mitsuhide and Katsuko reluctantly team up. Disguised as a merchant and his concubine, can they outsmart the man known as the God of Deceit?
Travel with Yoshimoto? I could probably get anywhere faster and less conspicuously without an escort, but in spite of his ambivalent manner, his knowledge of the politics involved would be worth having. Not to mention there was always the possibility that Yoshimoto wouldn’t give up the location of Yoshiaki’s hideout unless I agreed to go with him. “Thank you.”
He cast a critical eye over my clothes. He didn’t visibily flinch at my ‘Katsu’ drag, but he was clearly unimpressed. “Dare I hope that you still have the clothing Mitsuhide provided?"
"No." I didn’t mention the turquoise yukata. That wasn’t what I imagined Yoshimoto meant. "I've abandoned the Kaya identity completely."
"Pity. It would be most believable to Yoshiaki if I brought along a concubine." He tapped his fingers on the table. "Stand up, if you will."
Wondering what he had in mind, I obeyed the polite request. Yoshimoto got to his feet as well, and stood next to me, "You'll travel as my page, although I'll have to procure a suitable outfit. My own clothes would be far too long for you."
Had it been Mitsuhide who made such a statement, I would have protested that I wasn't too small, it was he who was too tall, but Yoshimoto had a way of making everything seem like a compliment. He thought a moment longer then added, "I have a relative whose castle will be on our route. I imagine we might find something suitable there, for you will certainly need warmer outfits for the mountains. Her son’s clothes will likely fit you."
Right. If Yoshiaki was in mining country, as the context of Iekane’s letter suggested, it would be colder there. Maybe not as cold as the Togakushi area where I was from, but cold enough to need heavy outerwear. "Thank you. My winter gear is back at my master’s home."
When Aki had first disappeared, it had been the last of summer. I had never expected the search to take me into late autumn. And yet… here I was, following a path that hopefully would not be another dead end. That morbid thought reminded me that I needed to make arrangements for Hiko tonight too.
Yoshimoto reached out and tested the thickness of my kimono. "Perhaps we'll encounter traders on the route. They might have some pelts they are taking to the export merchants." Huh. That suggested it was really cold where we were going (or that Yoshimoto just wanted an excuse to go for shopping). He knelt at his writing desk and jotted down a few notes. "Do you also need a horse?"
"No. Mine is already stabled in town and she's a surefooted mountain pony." A bad tempered one, true, but we'd be more likely to see snow instead of rain, so hopefully she'd cope.
“Ah, you might be better situated in that regard than I am.” Yoshimoto folded up the letter, and set it aside. “I’ll have one of Shingen’s spies take this to my cousin tomorrow.”
Hm – I hadn’t realized that the Takeda spy network reached as far south as Sakai. But that did present a solution to one of my other problems. “Do you have easy access to the mitsumono then? Because Sho’s younger brother is in danger, and it would be a good idea to have someone watching over him.”
“How much danger?” He looked at me steadily, perhaps reassessing what he’d just gotten himself into.
“Life threatening.” While I didn’t think Iekane was currently in Sakai (because if he were, why would he send a message to de Sousa instead of just talking face to face) he probably had access to assassins.
Yoshomoto reopened the letter and scrawled a few more lines. “To be safe, I can have him taken to Kasugayama until he’s out of danger.” He muttered something about Kenshin needing a hobby.
“If you could make that happen, that’s probably the best possible solution.” Iekane would have to be crazy to attack Kasugayama. Kenshin’s reputation as a fighter was infamous.
“A good idea will waft through my mind on occasion.” He hesitated a moment, then added, “Very rare occasions.” Before I could dispute that, he continued. “Right then. Another good idea is that we should sleep. You shall take my bed.”
"I can't kick you out of your bed." I’d broken into his room – it would be impolite to also steal his bed. For that matter, I couldn't imagine him sleeping on the floor.
"If you're that concerned for my comfort, we could share." The look he gave me was enough to convince me that a) it would not be platonic, b) he was not teasing, and c) he expected me to turn him down anyway.
"I'm actually used to roughing it. Don't forget that before I was p-p-pretending to be Mitsuhide's concubine,” Let’s just ignore the fact that for one night, it had not exactly been a pretense. “I was delivering messages all over the country. My tent and bedroll are with my horse, and it’s not as if I wouldn’t be using those the next few nights anyway."
If Yoshimoto noticed my hesitation in describing my relationship to Mitshide, he was kind enough not to mention it. "Tent. Bedroll. No that won't do. There are enough inns on the route to suit."
Ah. We were going glamping. Well, it was his money. The Imagawa were land poor, but Yoshimoto at least seemed to have unlimited wealth. I supposed that now I had liberated my, for want of a better description, trust fund, from Francisco's desk, I could afford to stay at an inn as well.
But for this night, I pointed to his bed. "You, futon. Me, floor." Without giving him a chance to argue, I simply stretched out in the corner, using my pack as a pillow.
The lantern light was suddenly shadowed by his figure, standing over me. “I don’t care that you are used to, as you say, ‘roughing it.’ I will not be able to sleep if I know that you are on the floor. Take my bed please. I have other options.”
… I ended up sleeping in his bed. Yoshimoto found an accommodating tea maid (perhaps the same one as before) and spent the night elsewhere.
Tumblr media
The following morning we were off, far later than I would have preferred, but Yoshimoto is not a morning person. In fact, by the time we had left the inn, taken care of half a dozen little tasks that Yoshimoto had insisted were important, it was long past dawn and I was already feeling impatient.
Luckily, getting in touch with one of Shingen’s spies took very little time – in fact as quickly as Yoshimoto made contact, one would think that she’d been watching for him. Or maybe even me, as it turned out that I knew her, for she was the kuinochi who had clued me in on the existence of the contraceptive tea. Sute, who didn’t appear to have a verbal ‘off’ button, had flitted around Yoshimoto, boldly flirting with him, before agreeing that bodyguarding a small boy to Kasugayama sounded like a fun new mission.
Her attention span seemed to jump from topic to topic so quickly that I was dizzy trying to keep up with her. “I love children, I would have a dozen of my own, but Chiyome thinks I would get bored with babies, so she reminds me to drink the – oh, Katsu, are you still drinking the tea?” She twined her arms around Yoshimoto for a moment. “You will need to if you will be travelling with this one. His skin is so very soft, do you not agree?” Then before I could respond to that (although what, really could I say?) she suddenly changed moods completely. “If someone is trying to kill a small boy, don’t worry, I will gut him like a fish.” She gestured to the arsenal of weapons and tools she had with her.
To add reassurance, Yoshimoto nodded. “All of Shingen’s mitsumono are brutal in a fight if necessary. Shingen won’t send anyone out who can’t protect themselves and others. Let us retrieve this child now.” It was said with a slight impatience … as if I hadn’t been agitating to get this show on the road hours ago.
I had a general idea where Hiko and his family lived, and well, Sho’s looks made it easy to track them all down. All I’d had to say was ‘green eyed beauty’ and her neighbors pointed me to their house.
Once Hiko had been guaranteed that his mother and sisters would be taken care of in a safe house arranged by Yoshimoto, he treated the idea of traveling to Kasugayama as a great adventure. In fact the biggest resistence to the plan came from Sho. Though she didn’t blink at my transformation from Kaya to Katsu, the news that Hiko was in danger was another issue altogether. In a show of defiance, my former maid not only refused to go with her mother and sisters to the safe haven, but also insisted upon accompanying her brother as an additional bodyguard. “I’m not helpless. And you’ll need another pair of eyes to keep watch on him. Hiko gets into everything.”
Sute had given her a long measuring look, then surprisingly agreed to another travelling companion.
In fact, Sute and Sho seemed to take an instant liking to each other, and as they got on the road, I could hear them chattering about everything under the sun.
Finally, Yoshimoto and I were able to leave Sakai too. I was happy to have the city in my so called rearview mirror. Moonlight also was glad to be on the road, especially after being stuck in a stable for weeks. I felt the same. Playing house, so to speak, with Mitsuhide would always have been a chore for me because I just didn’t like being inside. Getting back on the road was such a blessed relief....
And maybe if you keep telling yourself that, you will eventually come to believe it.
The only person who didn’t seem relieved to leave the city was Yoshimoto himself. With a figurative dark cloud looming over his head, his frown and drooping posture suggested some private misery. I suspected it had to do with his rebellious vassals, but I hesitated to question him because I didn’t want to make matters worse.
Thankfully, once we were well out of town, and the humid sea air gave way to a cooler crisp weather, he shook himself out of the mood and began peppering me with questions about the future, or, more specifically about the art and culture of the future. “You’ve never talked about this stuff with Sasuke?”
Yoshimoto’s shoulder lifted in a graceful shrug. “I have tried sometimes, but it was clear that his tastes and mine do not converge and I find it frustrating to hear about adventure stories when I prefer to learn about theater, art and dance.”
“Um, you’re probably going to find my conversation just as bothersome then.” Sports were always my interest, and I knew nothing about painting or sculpture.
He turned a dazzling smile to me. “Not at all. Conversation with a lovely young woman is never a bother.” Whoa. I had forgotten that Yoshimoto could turn on the charm when he wished to.
Huh. Hm. I didn’t want to disappoint him after that, so after thinking for a moment, I decided I could manage to speak somewhat authoritatively about film. I took him through the plots of Ran and Throne of Blood, giving him a brief run down of Kurosawa which then detoured to Shakespeare (at least what I could recall of both – which wasn’t a lot in regard to Shakespeare, given my habit of skipping school). And then I remembered that Ran had been inspired by Motonari, or at least the version of him from my own timeline, which made everything weird for me all over again.
Over the past seven years, I had gotten used to living in the same era as the historical figures I had grown up learning about in school. I'd rarely encountered them though, so it had been easy to pretend that they were still characters in a film. Now, I'd just spent the bulk of autumn with Mitsuhide, taken part in a rescue of Hideyoshi, and was travelling with Yoshimoto. I was feeling a bit of surrealistic alienation.
"Katsuko, what happened next?" I realized that Yoshimoto was waiting for me to continue telling him the plot of Ran. "How do they get all of these battles on the stage? Or are your theaters bigger?"
Whoops, I had skipped over the technology involved, "It's not live, we have a different, or well another medium to stage visual stories." As best I could, I tried to explain how movies were made, and how they were available to be viewed at the push of a button.
He got very quiet for a while before saying, "I can't decide if the idea of holding a play in the palm of my hand whenever I want is wonderful or terrible. I'm afraid it would make it all less special."
Hm. He had a point, I supposed. "I've never known any other way. We still have live theater, and dance. It didn’t go away. It's just... really expensive. At least with streaming, more people can enjoy it. Even in my time, people with unlimited funds are the exception, not the rule."
He turned to look at me, and there was pity in that glance. "Is that how you grew up? Were you poor?"
Yoshimoto might consider it so, but he was coming from a life where he’d at least monetarily had everything he wanted and never had to make decisions about whether or not he could afford something. “No. We always had enough to eat, shelter, warm clothes. Just not much extra."
I'd worked in a coffee shop for three years to save up for my snowboard. I didn’t really want to explain further. Though Yoshimoto (when he was in the mood) was an interesting conversationalist, talking about my childhood wasn't something I enjoyed doing, and he didn’t have Mitsuhide's ability to take with facts I gave him and accurately understand the conflicting emotions attached to them. So instead of revealing more of myself, I diverted Yoshimoto's attention back to the movies.
Unfortunately Yoshimoto proved to be distractible in every area of his life, and rather than making good time and traveling directly to our destination, he would often stop, even in the smallest villages, and visit with craftsmen and artisans.
I found it frustrating, and, I’m sure the hulking spy (Mitsuhide’s man – I recognized him from Sakai), who had been patiently following us for several days felt the same. When we stopped to visit what seemed like the tenth artisan in three days, I finally had to protest. “It seems like we’re not making very good time. I could have gotten there already.”
"Would you have pushed yourself and your horse to exhaustion?” Yoshimoto held a ceramic bowl up to the light. It was so shiny, his reflection was visible in it. “By traveling in this manner, you can go faster in short bursts. I would wager we're covering nearly the same territory in the amount of time it would take you to travel the other way. And this way, we learn whether or not Yoshiaki is massing an army because these villagers take note of everything."
Hm. Ok. He was right… and I should have thought of that myself. In my impatience over our lack of speed, I'd stopped paying attention to Yoshimoto’s conversations with the innkeepers and artisans. My bad. "Is he?"
"Not as of yet. I believe he's still in the process of getting promises of support from anti-Oda clans. Small ones." Yoshimoto reluctantly gave the bowl back to the artisan. It was too big to take with us (not that it had stopped his other purchases). "With winter setting in, he'll wait to attack in spring. No one wants to march an army through the mountains in a blizzard."
He turned back to the artisan and purchased the bowl anyway. "I can gift it to my cousin. We're almost to their castle."
Yoshimoto apparently had relatives all over Japan although the exact lines of ancestry I was never clear on. This particular cousin Ohana was married to a daimyo who was currently an ally of Kenshin, or at least that was the apparent relationship. It didn’t seem like much of a connection, especially not when we were basically dropping by with very little warning.
However, when we arrived at a small castle in Takayama, Ohana's husband Susumu welcomed us warmly. Then he immediately bore Yoshimoto off for a long war conversation, leaving Ohana to outfit me with clothing belonging to her youngest son. Besides a warm fur cloak, there were kimonos and hakamas in rich heat-absorbent shades of blue and black. I felt terrible taking her kid's wardrobe, but she waved off my protests.
"In truth, if Genmaro is anything like his father and brothers, I expect he will be half a head taller and more before the new year. And with no other children behind him, I would have sent these on to another cousin anyway." She threw a sturdy dark wine colored kimono on the pile.
I supposed that due to the fact I needed to look the part of an Imagawa page, it was in a sense a uniform. Armor. At least it was physical armor. It seemed that I would need some mental armor as well - both Ohana and Susumu had reacted with identical expressions of horror when Yoshimoto said he was planning to visit Yoshiaki. I imagined that a large portion the conversation between Susumu and Yoshimoto included the Sengoku versions of the expression, ‘are you nuts?’
Yeah, Yoshiaki was beginning to sound like the monster under the bed.
I half expected Yoshimoto’s cousins to lock him in a room and perform an intervention, but all that they managed to do was convince him to spend the night with them, so that we would be awake and alert when we arrived at Yoshiaki’s hideout. We would take with us not only warmer clothing, but also a couple additional servants, as both Yoshimoto and Susumu agreed that in the case of the Shogun, “more is more.”
And ‘more is more’ as in this is beginning to feel like more and more of serious production. As in, if you screw this up, it is more and more likely that you and Yoshimoto will die. It was at that moment that I realized I didn’t actually know what a page did. It was not in my repertoire of disguises, so as we were preparing for the visit, I asked, "Do you have any particular instructions? I've never been a page before."
This request was at least partially prompted by my worry for his mental state. He hadn’t slept at all the night before, for every time I woke up, I saw him standing by the window, staring out at the moon. Indeed, that was where he was when I got up. The moon had set, but Yoshimoto was clinging to that window as if it were a portal to another land. If the wormhole were to appear, I suspect he would leap right into it, not caring about where it led (him, I should at least warn him about the dinosaur possibility). I tried again to get his attention. “Yoshimoto? What does your page do? Carry your luggage?”
With an attitude of reluctance, Yoshimoto finally turned his attention to me. "Stand behind me, in my shadow if possible, bow as low as you can manage, and keep facing down. Don't look at him."
Well, that's ominous. "And if, when I find Iekane?" Accusing the man in front of the Shogun would apparently be an enormous breach of protocol. Probably even considered treason.
"Do you think he will recognize you?" He set out little ceramic pots of make-up… hopefully not for me.
"Well... probably, yes. He knew me as both housemaid Kaya and courier Katsu, so whichever way I’m dressed, he’ll be familiar." Plus, he had, I was sure now, been in Sakai right before my accident, so he'd seen me recently.
He was quiet a moment. "Bow to the floor as soon as you enter, and don't rise unless I give you a direct order. Yoshiaki will think it’s his due anyway."
He sounds like a real charmer. He and Iekane probably deserved each other. Hopefully the floor wouldn’t be too cold there at. Hm. “And what is the name of this place?”
“Genba.” Yoshimoto bit off the word as if it tasted terrible.
Genba.
It was the first I had heard of it. So why was I suddenly feeling claustrophobic while my mind presented me images of a labarinthine path, dark corridors, and the smell of poison? I knew I had never been there before. The word, the place name, totally unfamiliar.
But… something…?
Genba.
Tumblr media
Note: "Genba" will sound familiar to anyone who's read "A Mitsunari Night's Dream" as most of the action took place there. Katsu is just getting a deja vu from that other timeline. But the people who live in this Genba aren't exactly the same characters who lived in that other timeline, so it's not necessary to have read Mitsunari's story ... you haven't missed any vital information.

Kicho's Main Story Chapter 1 Part 2
Tumblr media
Kicho's subordinate: "Lord Kicho, excuse me."
Kicho: "Yeah?"
The man who called him straightened his back as Kicho looked up from the document in his hand.
Kicho: "What do you want?"
Kicho's subordinate: "A new servant is coming to work at the trading post."
Kicho's subordinate: "She's from the countryside. I have all the information here."
Tumblr media
Kicho: "I see. Put it there."
Kicho's subordinate: "Yes, sir."
The man bowed and placed the papers on the table in front of Kicho.
Kicho's subordinate: "Lord Kicho. The other day, the two spies seemed to have disappeared."
Kicho: "Yeah. I already received the report."
Kicho's subordinate: "Is this woman all right?"
Kicho: "Even if she's a spy, she won't pose much of a threat."
Kicho: "Those two guys couldn't even prevent the attack on Azuchi Castle the other day."
Kicho: "No matter how hard they try, they can't screw up my plans."
Kicho's subordinate: "Yes, sir."
The man bowed deeply and left the room.
Alone in the room again, Kicho looked at the papers in front of him.
Kicho: "Mai, huh?"
Kicho: "There won't be any problems. If you get in my way, I'll just have to dispose of you."
Tumblr media
Mai: "The water is clear and beautiful, and there are lots of fish."
(If we catch some, maybe we can have it for dinner tonight and maybe do some camping.)
Mitsuhide: "Mai."
(But how can I start a fire? There's no such thing as lighters in this era.)
(I used to take it for granted, but that thing was really useful.)
Tumblr media
Mitsuhide: "Oh? Are these ears of yours just for decoration?"
Mai: "Waaah!"
Suddenly, someone lightly tugged my ears, making my heart jump.
Mai: "Mitsuhide! What the heck are you doing all of a sudden!?"
Mitsuhide: "You were looking at the river and didn't seem to hear what I was saying."
Mitsuhide: "I just wanted to make sure these ears weren't fake."
Mai: "They're real, you know!"
Mitsuhide: "Good. Come on, let's continue our morning study."
Mai: "What? I thought we were taking a break at the river?"
Mitsuhide: "We're taking a break from the horseback riding lesson. You need to use your head while your body rests."
Mai: "Ugh!"
It was only a few days ago that I told them that I was going to visit Kicho as a spy.
Reactions were mixed: some were concerned, while others burst out laughing.
They also raised some concerns about whether I would really be of any use, but surprisingly, Mitsuhide said in front of everyone that he would accompany me and teach me along the way.
(I was also worried because I said I would go on a spur-of-the-moment decision, that's why I was relieved to hear Mitsuhide's words.)
Mitsuhide: "Maybe I should check if that head of yours is fake, too."
Mai: "S-Sorry! Please continue!"
(I didn't expect this kind of Spartan lesson.)
Mitsuhide gave me lectures in the morning, horseback riding while traveling, and self-defense in the evening and at night.
And what we are about to start was a continuation of the morning's lecture.
(That's how little time I have.)
(I can't be weak since I'm the one who brought this up.)
As I straightened my posture, Mitsuhide began to arrange the colored stones he had found on the riverbank on a large rock nearby.
(Let's see, this is Kenshin Uesugi, Shingen Takeda, and Kennyo.)
As I watched his hand move swiftly, I recalled the names of the people mentioned in the lecture.
Kenshin Uesugi and Shingen Takeda, rumored to be dead, were said to be alive and working together.
(I think Sasuke is working with those guys.)

(He told me on the night of the Honnoji Incident that they were alive, but I didn't tell anyone because it would look suspicious that a woman who suddenly appeared out of nowhere had all kinds of information.)
It was also discovered that the culprit behind the Honnoji incident was a man named Kennyo.
(I think that guy is a monk. We met in the forest that night, so I talked to Mitsuhide about him.)
(I had my suspicions that he looked like the person who attacked Nobunaga, but I had no idea he was the mastermind.)
It looked like they were not making any major moves at this point. However, if they clashed with each other, it would turn into a big war.
Mitsuhide also told me a lot about the situation here, saying I should remember a few things.
Mitsuhide: "And this is where you're headed."
Finally, he put down the stone with a thump.
Mitsuhide: "Sakai. It's a port town facing the sea where foreign merchant ships come."
Mitsuhide: "He's in a foreign trading post in Sakai."
Mai: "So, Kicho is there."
The sound of the stream faded away as I stared at the shiny white stone.
Mai: "Um, is there anything else?"
Mitsuhide: "Anything else?"
Mai: "About Kicho. Something that could tell me about his personality."
Mai: "You guys were originally friends, right?"
Mitsuhide: "Let's see."
Mitsuhide ran his fingertips over his lips thoughtfully.
Mitsuhide: "That man is my cousin."
Mai: "What!? So you knew him before he came to the Oda army?"
Mitsuhide: "Well, I wonder about that."
Mitsuhide: "Seeing is believing, as they say. Why don't you see it for yourself?"
Mai: "But一!"
Tumblr media
Mitsuhide: "Let's move on now. Break's over."
He left a gentle smile and quickly walked away.
(Yeah, I'm curious, but it can't be helped. I'll put that aside for now.)
(If I think about anything else, I'll get knocked off that horse again.)
And after a few days of building a trusting relationship with the horse while undergoing his Spartan training一
(I'm finally here!)
As I felt every muscle in my body tremble, I hugged my bag and wandered through the town of Sakai.
We didn't know where Kicho's men were, so Mitsuhide and I decided to part ways shortly before entering the town.
(Now that I'm here, it means I'm already in hostile territory.)
(Anyway, I need to get to the trading post. Let's see. I think this is the way to get there.)
Mai: "Hmm?"
Suddenly, I noticed there was a commotion around me. The next thing I knew, lively music was playing, making me turn my head in the sound's direction.
(Are those people in flashy outfits dancers? It looks like a parade.)
Mai: "Whoa!"
Perhaps trying to clear a path for the group, everyone suddenly moved backward.
My legs, still screaming from exhaustion, wobbled, causing me to fall like a domino straight into someone else.
Tumblr media
???: "............."
Mai: "Crap. S-Sorry!"
I quickly moved away and bowed my head, but he didn't respond, making me anxious, so I quietly peeked at his expression.
(-----!)
His face was emotionless, like a Noh mask.
Only his hazel-green eyes, framed by dark circles, shone brightly.
(He's so pretty.)
(Wait, this is not the time to gawk!)
Realizing that it was rude to stare at him, I decided to speak up.
Mai: “Are you hurt!?”
???: “I’m fine. Are you all right?”
Mai: “Yes, I just tripped a little.”
Mai: “You actually saved me.”
(If it weren’t for this guy, I would’ve faceplanted on the ground.)
???: “I see. That group always passed by in the afternoon. You should remember that.”
(So, around 12 o’clock in the afternoon.)
Mai: “Got it. Thank you very much.”
Mai: “Um, are you familiar with this town?”
???: “Yeah. I do business here.”
(Good to know!)
Mai: “Actually, I’m looking for a trading post around here.”
Mai: “Do you know anything about it? Any rumors spreading around town?”
Tumblr media
???: “Oh? What exactly do you want to know?”
Mai: “Well, let’s see...”
Mai: “What kind of guy is the head of that trading post?”
???: “What kind of guy? Are you interested in his personality? Do you have a business meeting scheduled later?”
???: “You don’t look like a merchant. Or do you have some other purpose?”
(Damn it, am I being suspicious already?)
I felt his gaze sharpen slightly, and I hurriedly shook my head.
Mai: "No, I'm not a merchant. I'm just a simple country girl!"
Mai: "I'm supposed to start my apprenticeship there today, but I'm a little nervous because I don't know what to expect."
???: "I see."
He listened to me and squinted his beautiful eyes.
???: "What's your name?"
Mai: "My name is Mai."
???: "I see. Then Mai, let's go."
Mai: "Excuse me?"
???: "I couldn't give you information, but I can guide you to the trading post."
Mai: "Are you sure?"
???: "Yes. I was just on my way there."
(Maybe he's a business partner or something.)
(At any rate, I'm glad I met this guy.)
My heart was still beating fast from nervousness, but I thought I got off to a pretty good start.
Feeling a little positive, I followed his back as his white cloak fluttered through the crowd.
Tumblr media
He showed me around the Japanese-Western-style trading post and led me to the entrance lined with equally maintained shrubs.
Tumblr media
Opening the wooden door, he beckoned me inside.
???: "This way."
Mai: "Okay, thanks."
(Ugh, I'm so nervous.)
I sat down on the sofa, feeling restless.
(Is this a guest room?)
The luxurious interior of the room, just like the outside, was in Japanese-Western style, with unique-looking furniture.
(This guy is amazing. He's totally at home in this room.)
(He didn't get lost at all. He looks like he's used to this place.)
The way he leaned back on the sofa with his legs lightly crossed was very graceful and elegant.
It was not surprising that he had connections with this trading post.
Mai: "Thank you for showing me the way here."
Mai: "I think I'll stay outside since I don't think it's a good idea for a servant to wait in here."
???: "No problem. You're here for the manager, right?"
Mai: "Yes, but don't you have a business meeting with him first?"
???: "I don't remember ever saying that. And I don't recall ever telling you my name."
(Oh.my.god.)
Tumblr media
Kicho: "My name is Kicho. I'm the head of this trading post."
Mai: "-----!"
My whole body tensed up.
(This is the guy.)
(The mastermind behind the attack and our enemy!)
Tumblr media
I was unable to say anything as Kicho quietly observed me with his purplish black hair slightly swaying.
He was looking at me with eyes that were trying to uncover everything.
(I have to say something. If he gets suspicious, I'm done for.)
(In the first place, I didn't reveal anything.)
With my head still in a mess, I desperately breathed in and一
Mai: "I'm so sorry!"
I bowed my head as best I could while I stood up from the sofa.
Mai: "I didn't know you were the boss."
Mai: "I'm really sorry if I said something that might have offended you and for treating you so casually."
Mai: "Please don't fire me!"
Kicho: "Raise your head. I will do no such thing."
Kicho: "You told me yourself you were a servant here, but I was the one who didn't give you my name."
I was relieved to hear Kicho's words back.
(He's very discreet with people he's never met before.)
(It's probably a good thing I didn't know him. Otherwise, I might have unintentionally said something stupid.)
Kicho: "Is all your stuff in that one bundle you're carrying?"
Mai: "Yes."
Kicho: "Then wait here for a moment. I'll call someone else to guide you."
Tumblr media
Kicho: "You don't have to do anything today, just go to your room and rest."
As he said this, he stood up.
Kicho's subordinate: "Excuse me."
A man entered the guest room.
Kicho: "Have they arrived?"
Kicho's subordinate: "Yes. Should I escort them here?"
Kicho: "No, I'll go there myself. To thank them for their hospitality the other day, I've prepared some souvenirs for them."
Kicho's subordinate: "Yes, I'll bring it now."
His subordinate thanked him and quickly left the room.
Mai: "Um, where are you going?"
Kicho: "The port. There's a merchant ship coming from England."
Mai: "That's pretty far."
(I'm pretty sure it's the UK.)
Kicho: "You know about it? It's a small country, but I didn't realize the name had made its way to a village in the countryside."
Mai: "Um, that's not where I heard it. I studied a bit after I decided to work here since I'm not that smart."
(I didn't learn about England from Mitsuhide, but I need to lie.)
Mai: "You said I don't have to do anything today, so can I go with you? I promise I won't get in your way."
Mai: "I've never seen a big ship before."
Tumblr media
Kicho: ".............."
I tried smiling a little sadly to emphasize my interest in the ship as Kicho stared at me blankly.
Kicho: “All right, you have my permission. The ‘big ship’ you’re referring to is called a galleon.”
Kicho: “If you come with me, stay by my side the whole time.”
Kicho: “If you make any suspicious move around the ships, I'll shoot you.”
Mai: “That’s a bit dangerous.”
Kicho: “I don’t want it to fall into other people’s hands. It’s a pretty rare flintlock gun, after all.”
(Flintlock gun!?)
I stopped thinking for a moment after hearing the weapon’s name.
The next moment, unable to stand still, I stood in front of him.
Mai: “Wait a minute. Are you going to pick some weapons now!?”
Kicho: “Yes. Is there a problem?”
Mai: “Yes! Because those weapons will end up in someone else’s hands again.”
Mai: “If you do that, it’ll make Japan even crazier.”
(Talking back might make me look suspicious, but I can’t just keep my mouth shut.)
Mai: “Right before I came here, I saw a place that was dear to someone get cruelly destroyed.”
Mai: “I think conflicts will happen if more people get their hands on weapons.”
Kicho: “That is my goal.”
Kicho: “I’ll incite the forces of various regions and disturb Japan. This trading post is for that purpose.”
(He said those things without a hint of hesitation.)
Mai: “A lot of people are going to die.”
Tumblr media
Kicho: “…………..”
Kicho: “It’s a necessary sacrifice.”
He said it quietly and clearly.
He looked at me as if he was searching for something, making it impossible for me to say anything.
Kicho: "Move. Don't get in my way."
(No. If I push back here, he'll kick me out of the trading post.)
(My goal is not to stop him right now.)
Mai: "Okay."
Making excuses in my head as if they were valid reasons, I gently put my arm down.
He didn't say anything more, either. He just glanced at me coldly and walked out of the room.
Anyway, this was how my life as a spy began.
It started so poorly that I even resented the sunny sky.

Chapter 2 - Unwritten Laws
Tumblr media
The next morning, Katrina woke up better than ever before - It was a beautiful morning with an even more refreshing feeling - Something she hasn't experienced in a very long time. She had a soft smile on her face so she dressed in the kimono of that annoying colour and braided her hair, doing a cute bow to tie it, only for someone to randomly pop up - Or, pop down, rather, from a tile from the ceiling.
The man was dressed like one of those Ninjas in Naruto, only to have modern-day glasses that gave him away, somewhat. "Hello. I know we haven't properly met each other, but I was there when you went through the wormhole." he explained, making the girl snap her fingers in realisation.
"That means you have an idea of what and/or why it happened, right? Are you a scientist?" the woman asked, gesturing for the man to get out of the ceiling and sit down with her and chat properly.
"Yes. I am a post-graduate in Physics. We entered the wormhole at the same time, however, I arrived four years prior to you. And in this time spent here, I came to the conclusion that we are in an alternate timeline. I arrived at the place where Uesugi Kenshin collapsed. I saved his life with my knowledge of modern medicine. If this were our timeline, Uesugi Kenshin should be dead by now. Also, the Warlord Takeda Shingen, who is supposed to be dead by now, is also alive. Well... I predicted that you would do a time travel as well, and I searched for you, but I never imagined you would arrive four years after me." the man chuckled cheekily, making the woman look down with an amused smirk.
"Well, well, finally, someone who has brains around this place. Trust me, it's a real wonder. I'm a doctor now, but in the only day spent here, I didn't get to use my skills." she hummed in mock-superiority. "Anyway, I see these 4 years have been kind to you. To become such an excellent ninja requires true hard work and dedication... Not like you had anything else better to do, anyway. To think both Kenshin and Shingen are alive right now... As well as Nobunaga... Mitsuhide wasn't the traitor, he hasn't died in less than a week, and Hideyoshi isn't Japan's unifier yet... There truly are a ton of discrepancies compared to our own time's history. Well... Not like I know a ton about universal history and all. As you can see, I'm not exactly 100% Japanese, and most of my time I spent in Europe. I know the basics of history, with some details from some Wikipedia searches and... 'The Age of Samurai' documentary from Netflix. But I guess it matters for nothing now that we're pretty much re-writing history by just existing." Kat smiled wryly, admitting to her own ups and downs in common knowledge, but then she grinned charmingly, tapping the side of her face, pondering.
"I don't think we will need too much history knowledge with how much things have changed, but I suppose you could say that seeing the famous warlords of the Sengoku with my own eyes is a dream come true for me. My parents were big history buffs so I got my name from the Legendary Ninja that served Yukimura Sanada. Sarutobi Sasuke, the leader of the Sanada 10 Braves, the fictional group of 10 ninjas that supposedly assisted the warlord Yukimura Sanada during the Warring States, and since that's pretty much my name, I've basically taken his place, so my impact on history is pretty low. Unlike yours, Physician Princess." he sniggered friendly, making the girl shrug playfully.
"Rumours fly around faster with a ninja around. Anyway, I know we have no actual technology around... Except for what we were caught with in the wormhole, and that only works on the left-over batteries... But do you have any idea if there's any way to go back home? There must be a wormhole some time soon, right?" she theorized, and thankfully, the ninja scientist nodded in relief.
"According to my data, the next appearance will be in three months... But I'm still unsure of its location, so I believe it will be best if you spend these next three months here, since we're in the midst of a chaotic civil war... Ah, someone's coming. I'll be staying with my employed in the city below. Send a smoke signal and I'll come to your aid quickly. Bye, Kat, it was lovely meeting you." and with that, the scientist completely disappeared.
"Goodbye to you too..." the girl muttered, getting up and opening the door to her room, only to see Mitsuhide, wearing his usual fox-like smile, and two very soft and sweet looking women behind him, both holding some big boxes of unknown content.
"Hello. Please, do come inside... Although, I don't have any tea or snacks to serve you." she stepped to the side, welcoming the trio inside her room.
"What a lovely welcome, from one fire fox, to another silver fox. Well, I will be direct with you. Lord Nobunaga is calling for you. He wants to see you." crossing his arms and nodding to the girls to open the boxes, revealing several hair pins and hair decorations, along with a beautifully embroidered and painted flower-patterned black, golden and red kimono and matching haori and zori sandals.
"U-Uhm... I would like to thank you for your consideration... Truly, I appreciate the thought... But I simply cannot accept such a gift. I have done nothing to deserve or earn such expensive outfits and jewellery, therefore I must decline." the red haired woman looked away, embarrassed, fidgeting awkwardly with her fingers.
"My, my, how modest of you, little Princess. Well, then take it as an early payment for all the hard work you're going to put throughout your stay here, at Azuchi. Besides, if you don't accept them, it will be me Hideyoshi kills. He pushed these onto me and said, and I quote, 'She can't go dressed like that, take this to Lady Katrina'. Don't worry so much and let these maids take care of you today, then, you can do whatever you want." Mitsuhide bargained with the girl who remained quiet for a while, and then simply nodded. Whispering a soft "Okay." and "Thank you.", the two maids had Mitsuhide leave the room and called Katrina to take a bathroom.
The Faux Princess had to insist a few times to be allowed to wash herself... Alone... By herself. She enjoyed the soothing hot water that calmed down her overworked and stressed muscles, and soaked much longer than she realised, but damn, the relaxation was so worth it. She didn't even care for the wrinkly skin, she was just so happy.
Her apartment back home was pretty small, so she didn't have enough space for a bath tub, only for a shower, so there wasn't any chance for her to relax like this. Not bad at all... Maybe this will be a pretty fun trip... A vacation, maybe? Definitely worth it. With just this bath alone, Kat was content.
After what may have felt like ages for anyone waiting on her, the physician woman got out of the bath and dried herself off, allowing the maids - Aiko and Maki - To take of her however they felt fit, trying to erase the embarrassment she felt in allowing others to pamper her like that. But this kindness and politeness... Yes, these women were nice and all, but it was all fake. After all... She was a Princess, and everyone wanted to gain favour with the Princess, and by default, gain favour with the Lord who assigned them to do this. She's seen enough Imperial Chinese dramas to know the drill.
The girls carefully combed her long, crimson hair, and they made two decorative braids in the back, loosely tying them together with a beautiful, golden ribbon. They helped her with dressing, and then gave her some food - And an excellent dessert - And shockingly, Masamune was the one who cooked for her! Kat knew, cooking wasn't rocket science, but cooking in the 16th century, and especially something so spectacular... She was intrigued, to say the least, and it's the first time she was actually interested in learning something that wasn't revolving around her work-space.
When she was finally able to leave the room, she saw that Mitsuhide was still there, and he smirked at her, satisfied. "You look lovely, Lady Katrina. Shall I take you to Nobunaga's room? I don't believe you know your way around the castle yet well enough." he spoke, gesturing with his eyes to be followed.
"Thank you for your thoughts, Mitsuhide. Although... Please, do not use such honorifics when addressing me. You and I both know I'm not... Well... I did nothing to earn such a high social status, nor the respect of anyone, therefore, such words are nothing more than empty pleasantries that are used as an attempt at gratifying and elevating one as someone greater, yet it has no meaning, nor worth." she finally spoke after a while, making the silver-haired warlord stop in his tracks and look at her with slightly widened eyes, surprised by her words.
Instead of addressing her statement, he merely hummed in amusement and understanding, and took her hand, kissing the back of her hand. "I thought I'd ease your nervousness, yet somehow, I may have missed the mark. You seem even more tense. What dark thoughts are plaguing your mind, little fox?"
She didn't dare look at him - She could feel her cheeks reddening slightly, as she could only look to the side, fidgeting with her fingers and biting her lip. "I... I shouldn't... It's not..." she muttered softly, almost as if afraid to say anything, her eyes darting around carefully.
"There's no one here who could hear you, there is nothing to be afraid of, little one. Your voice is soft enough that not even I may hear it." the warlord mused, encouraging her with the teasing.
"In my time, what you did is a romantic gesture. All that considered... It never happened to me before. That's... That's all that I was thinking. Nothing of importance. Forget you heard it." and with that, the red haired girl stepped ahead, getting in front of Nobunaga's door, only to peer behind her shyly. "Although... It wasn't too bad saying it to someone. Thank you, Mitsuhide."
And thus, hearing a soft snigger from behind, the leaving footsteps left her all alone, in front of the beautifully painted landscape from Nobunaga's paper door. Announcing her presence to the Warlord, she was invited inside, only to see Drew already sitting there, playing Go with Nobunaga. And he was losing very shamefully.
Looking down and fidgeting with her fingers, Kat felt awkward and didn't know what to do, so she just stood there, by the door, awaiting further instruction. It didn't come until Nobunaga completely decimated Drew's forces and he won. Drew threw a tantrum and flipped the table, having all pieces fall around the room, but Nobunaga sketched no reaction - His face was hard and cold as an ice statue's.
The poor girl could only look away, very embarrassed at being associated with him, but also, feeling incredibly uncomfortable with having to witness such a... A fight. A one-sided fight. The man didn't even bother speaking to her - Instead, he stormed out of the room, cursing the warlord left and right. As well as him, the girl said nothing either, but unlike him, she moved for the first time since getting there. She got one of the vases that held the red pieces and began picking up each piece. However, as she was doing that, Nobunaga suddenly moved, grasping her wrist, stopping her at once.
"Why are you doing this? It was not you who made a mess of my room." he spoke, his eyes cold and almost ruthless.
"Yes, but what he did wasn't okay. A man shouldn't behave like a spoiled brat. He's always been a sore loser and would make a huge show whenever he lost at something. Mind you, he was never a great player at... Any game. As well as that, we are both from the future, and having him show such disrespect makes it look as if we are some ill-mannered savages or something." she explained, placing down the vase and putting her other hand gingerly over his.
"You feel responsible for his actions, is that it?" he scoffed, seeing the girl offer a small smile.
"Unfortunately, I do tend to do that a lot." she mused, freeing her hand and continuing picking up the pieces. "But I think it's more shame and second-hand embarrassment."
"A leader always takes the responsibility for his subordinates' mistakes, likewise, they are responsible for teaching them accordingly. Katrina, I do not understand you. It came to my understanding that you and that man were married, or in courtship, therefore you are not a leader, just a maiden trying to pick up the discarded sword of a broken peasant pretending to be a warrior. You could become an Empress, but you sell yourself short. It's pitiful, if not, pathetic." he grimaced, making the girl hang her head, but nod, nonetheless.
"Yes, you are right. I am aware of that - But it's not like I have much choice in the matter, do I?" she let out a dry, sardonic chuckle. "We are not married, and, truth be told... I don't have any positive feelings towards him either. I could end it any time, should I find something better -- I just hadn't found anything better than this wretch yet.." she shrugged simply, though the bitterness was evident on her face.
"Enough self-pity and servant-work. I did not call you here to clean my room." he swiftly ended the conversation. "A scout reported from the East. One of the daimyos there wants to revolt against me. We are facing a force of more than 2.000 men, so it is very small. I am going to lead the attack with my own army of only 500. You will be coming with me. Here's your chance to bring me luck again." he finally spoke with more vigor in his voice, a smirk appearing on his face.
"Oda Nobunaga, the Demon King of the 6th Heaven almost died... He must be weak, we can finally take our chance and win against him. We can defeat his army and take over Kyoto." Kat smirked softly, humming in amusement. "You're going to make quite the statement, Nobunaga - A 1 to 4 army... Very bold." she tapped the table, a habit she took whenever she was being playful or amused. "Is it true what they say? The safest place for anyone is near the general, for it is the most guarded one? Is there anything I should be afraid of?" she teased playfully.
The brunet warlord let out a boastful laugh. "You are brave, woman! Brave and witty, yet foolish to believe there is any place safe under the Sun. Get up, we are leaving now!" and saying that, he lunged to the girl, getting her up and leading her out of the room and into the stables, leaving her mute from shock as she, once again, was dragged up onto Nobunaga's horse with crazy ease.
Nothing more was said until they arrived at the camp - They sat on small wooden chairs, awaiting... Something. Tension was high in the air, and screams of rage, agony, war cries were splitting the air. It wasn't like in the movies, Kat knew that, but even so, curiosity, intrigue and slight fear mixed together in her heart. She wanted to watch, to observe, to analyse, but at the same time, she wanted to stay away and be safe. It wasn't that she valued her life much, but she didn't want to give it away too freely either.
Then, one of the warriors came by to his warlord, alerting that the enemy commander sailed out, risking his life in battle - Nobunaga was almost impressed, he could even say he was half-intrigued... Or maybe a quarter at most. And yet, the Lord got up from his chair and put his hand on the katana hanging from his waist.  He was going to go there and put an end to the enemy's life by himself.
"You must be bored of sitting there, silent. You'll come with me, I want you to see this." the man commanded, already striding to his horse, leaping up and going ahead.
"... You should have waited for me, at least." the girl muttered, and seeing that no one else was around, she held her clothes up, allowing more freedom of movement, and ran after him awkwardly, muttering curses under her breath.
Suddenly, she heard a loud, authoritarian shout - "Aim for Nobunaga's head!" - they said, making the girl's head snap up to the Lord's silhouette, barely a few meters in front of her, and then she saw an archer to her right, drawing his bow towards her.
"Do I look like a man to you?!" she shouted at him, and seeing a dead soldier on the ground, she leaped down, grabbing up the corpse and using it as a way to cover her body as much as possible.
The familiar sound of an arrow being released, and Kat closed her eyes, not having a clue what else she could do to shield herself - But than the splitting of air by a sword was heard, and a familiar voice boomed through the place. "I am your enemy! Don't mistake me for someone else!" and with that, Kat peeked from behind the dead warrior as Nobunaga decapitated the archer, his blood splashing around like an artesian fountain. So that really was as flashy as in movies. "Katrina! Observe diligently what is happening around you!" he commanded, and with that, he turned around and went ahead to create more carnage.
Thankfully, the war didn't last much longer, for the warlord got to the enemy, and the red head ran up by his side as soon as he leaped down from the horse. "A demon!" some of the enemy soldiers shrieked in fear, seeing the merciless eyes of the sadistic warlord, along with "This man is a monster!" Nobunaga's cold, lifeless, killer eyes seemed to terrify the soul out of everyone... He was enjoying the way he scared and intimidated his enemies.
But Kat wasn't scared. Instead, she kinda felt sad hearing such words. In a period of only war, to call someone so gifted in the art of war, a monster, just because you're lesser than him - No, never mind, humanity hasn't changed.
The woman walked by his side, in front of the cowering enemy leader who was kneeling and praying, begging for his life to be spared. But Nobunaga was having none of it. None who rebel against him may live. And he struck him down on the spot.
"You lost to number less than half of yours. You should be cursing yourself for thinking you stood a chance. Understand it already! This is the end for you. And it goes without saying, your foolish vassals will accompany you on your fate." and thus, he ordered everyone from the castle to be pulled out - They were all bound and taken away - It seemed to Kat like they were inmates on death row, or maybe lambs to the slaughter, awaiting the guillotine blade to fall down on their neck.
Was he going to kill all of them? Even those who weren't involved in any way in the war, and just had the misfortune of being born in the wrong castle area? It seemed unfair, and yet, she wouldn't be surprised in the least. It's the Sengoku era, and she remembered how completely heartless Nobunaga was said to have been, killing and lighting up buddhist temples, women, children and anyone that was unfortunate enough to cross his path.
She could only look at them go by her with lingering sorrow, feeling her heart sinking, but she was saying nothing. She understood, and it wasn't like a warlord would take back an order and choose the mercy route, just because of a woman's plea. He was Oda Nobunaga, and he was a Warlord. The most feared one in the whole country.
As a physician, she looked at the irony presented in front of her - A woman who vowed to save as many lives as possible, next to a man who vowed to bring his success by killing. Did he even care about others' lives, or did he just see humans as pawns in a chess game, playing only to win? Was he truly not afraid, even by a little bit, of being in the middle of the war, among so much death and danger?
She went back to Azuchi almost robotically, not being aware of anything around her, as she was too deep in her own thoughts. Maybe someone tried to talk to her, but she behaved rudely by unintentionally ignoring them. But she wasn't sorry, she didn't want to do it, those thoughts were too intense and interesting to speculate.
And so, she got back to her own room and slumped on the ground, resting her elbow on her knee and propping her jaw on her palm, looking unfocused and just...Pondering. That is, until the room to her door was opened and, unexpectedly, Hideyoshi greeted her. She saw the man and gestured for him to sit down next to her and have the conversation he wanted - Why else would he be there, anyway?
"You seem unexpectedly well after what happened. Are you sure you come from an era of peace?" he asked with light amusement, no doubt trying to lighten up the atmosphere.
"Yes, I am sure." she smiled softly. "I've always been great at hiding what I'm feeling, and I naturally am level-headed and don't fall under the pressure, so I guess my rational thinking and composure saved me from panicking too bad. Thank you for your concerns, Hideyoshi, I truly appreciate your thoughts." she nodded as a thanks.
"I did come here to bring you some basic necessities and see how you were doing, but I suppose you are pretty fearless." he stated. "Did anything happen to put you in such deep pondering?" he asked, almost as if he were a big brother concerned about his little sister after her first day at school.
"Well... An archer tried to shoot me. The arrow was aimed at my face. That was scary. I leapt to shield myself with a body from the ground, but thankfully, Nobunaga was there in time and sliced the arrow... And then the archer. It was scary back then, but the adrenaline surging through your veins makes it bearable. When you relax, it's when the fear actually catches up to you - Rationally, at least." she recalled the story with a sigh.
"Yes, I suppose for a woman who never even saw weapons her whole life and lived such a sheltered existence, having an arrow pointed at you and almost dying must be traumatic." he nodded, a serious expression on his face - But then he patted her head with a nice smile. "But that's not what's on your mind, is it?"
"No... You are right." she admitted. "After he killed the enemy lord, Nobunaga tied up all the vassals, including the women and children. In our history, he is known as a merciless man who kills anything in his path - However, there are enough discrepancies in this timeline from my own... So, I was wondering... Are these war prisoners going to be killed? Or will they be used as slaves or something?" Kat asked, looking pensive at the vassal in front of her.
"Kill? Lord Nobunaga would never do something so wasteful. The traitor will be stripped of his land, which will be put under the control of a new daimyo. The wounded will be treated and sent home to work the land as farmers and peasants once more. They won't be allowed to become samurai or warriors again, though." the man explained to her the process of taking war prisoners.
"I see. I suppose that makes sense. That means I will finally have some proper work to do of my own these days, that's great. I figured he wanted to get rid of this revolt quickly, with as few people as possible, to show that he's stronger now than ever, even in spite of the fast-flying rumours about the Honno-Ji incident... So he's thoughtful first, then merciless and valiant. I think I understand him and his reasonings better now." Kat nodded in understanding, letting a pondering silence veil the both of them for a while.
"I still don't yet approve of you, but now that you are a member of the Oda forces, and you have already been through one war, you have to try and understand what is going on around here. Things won't be easy for you, but I am sure Lord Nobunaga wouldn't put you in direct danger, considering he needs you alive. But that's all I can tell you now. Once you've calmed down and had enough time to sort out your thoughts and feelings, go to Lord Nobunaga and thank him." and thus, he extended his hand towards her, to help her up.
She graciously gave him a smile and got up with his aid, and they nodded at each other. "Thank you for coming here and explaining these things to me. I needed that. You're a very nice man, Hideyoshi, whether or not you approve of me. I appreciate it." but then, the man smiled and hummed cheerfully.
"Don't thank me. Also, before I forget - Have this. Put this on your wounds. While I won't trust anyone who seems suspicious until they prove me wrong, I wouldn't leave an injured woman untreated. It's not my style." and thus, he stepped out of the room, waving at her goodbye.
"Thank you, Hideyoshi!" the girl went out as well, waving at him as well.
"Thank Ieyasu, not me. I'm just giving you leftover medicine he made." he chuckled lightly.
"Ieyasu is interested in medicine as well?!" the girl's first real reaction - True interest and excitement - Painted on her face, her eyes gleaming eagerly.
"Yes, he is very gifted in this domain. He may be skeptical and apprehensive at first, but pay him no mind, he's just introverted. You can learn many things from him. I'm sure you will be his favourite student... And only one." with an amused look, he left the place, leaving the girl to her own thoughts.
"Fascinating... Very fascinating..." she muttered to herself as she found her feet taking her towards the Lord. "Well then, here we go again..."
And thus, Katrina sighed, gathering herself and her thoughts, and calling out to the Lord, awaited for approval to walk inside - And she did hastely.
She walked in the demon's den as fearlessly as he expected.

Hey there how are you? This literally just came to my mind how will the warlords react to an mc who sees ghosts / spirits and talks with them?
i’m doing fine, thanks for asking! honestly, this is a concept that i’m very interested in (in fact, i had an idea something along these lines, though not quite, that was one of the factors why i made this blog in the first place) cause of the three ikeseries games i know, ikesen is the one who handles death the most (at least in terms of many lives lost, with war and whatnot.)
and i wish i can expand more but also! i’m Lazy
(disclaimer that the uses of sixth senses and how spirits/spiritual “energy” works here are of my own creation, cause in all honesty i don’t know shit abt them)
—nobunaga:
the ability to see the spirits of the dead, in the modern times, was. . .interesting, to sum it up.
living with it since you were a child, you’ve a lot of experiences that range from dread and scary, to extremely fascinating. in the world of constant normality, to a fault even, it’s a sort of (sometimes morbid) curiosity to interact with those who have passed.
however,,, not many times did you tap into scenarios where you got that close to how that person died.
occasional car crashes, although the ones you were bystander to were strangers to you. those you know who did, never you got to see die in front of your eyes. and frankly, you didn’t want to see it,
however, now,,, the world seems to have different plans for you.
out of all the periods, you were flung back to a war-stricken one. even worst, being practically taken in by who’s known as the ruthless unifier of japan.
it all started from the second day, the first battle you were dragged into. while you tried to block out the death you saw around you,,, the way nobunaga slashed the enemy commander would never leave your mind.
doesn’t help that later on you already saw the fire-like spirit, one that would resemble the man standing near the burning castle. reality set in for you at that moment; you’ll be seeing a lot of these.
each battlefield you were dragged into, you could see the spirits that would wander around, in agony, anger or otherwise. either while the flames of battle were swishing, or afterwards when you patched up the injured soldiers.
and almost each time you sense that anger was the thing that tied their spirit to the physical world (from the enemies, of course), somehow, in any way, nobunaga was a part of it.
and you can see why. you’ve heard stories, from the dead and alive, of the supposed atrocities he’s committed, and if you were honest, it created much more a distance.
perhaps it was because you knew much more clearer, the wishes the passed enemy soldiers would curse him for laying upon whatever damage he had. perhaps that was what would always haunt you, how they described his actions, that made you as tense as you were each time you visited the tenshu.
yet,, you always showed a level of care for him, that was clear the first night you went up to his tenshu to thank him for saving your life.
and slowly, you begin to see the truth of his actions. maybe there was more to him, you thought.
it made you believe much more in non-violence, which was why when the lord presented you with a gun or a sword to take his or your life,
you refused both outcomes.
you wanted to live, a burning desire to survive just like everyone else. but it goes without saying that you don’t want nobunaga to die either. not only rooted in the strong feelings you’ve grown regarding violence, but also. . .
“i don’t think i could bear to see your spirit lingering. i - i just don’t want—”
you let out a shuddering breath as the weigh of the wishes, regrets, stories, anger of the dead wash over you. so many lives have been lost—you feel like you’re simply a bearer, a messenger, for those who have passed.
you can’t even begin to imagine the ghost of nobunaga, whatever weigh he held even after death, and especially if you were the one to take his life.
“. . .what do you mean by that?”
you snap back as you look up at him, and realize that you’ve never really told him of your sixth sense. with a heaving breath, you look down to the gun and katana as you begin to explain.
explaining how you’re able to see soldiers, citizens, everyone, who was caught in the crossfire. both enemies and allies. stories of those who they’d lost, or those who’d lose them. unsaid goodbyes, sworn revenge, all of which were burnt into your mind.
their families, friends, who’ve waited for them, all of those haunt your mind until you feel like you live to tell the tale of the passed. countless nights, as you wonder if you’ll ever meet any of them, and if you’ll ever tell them how they’d felt. all the unsaid words.
slowly, he begins to understand clearer. your want for peace, your absolute disdain for death. the clear suffering you heaved, to honor each spirit.
and maybe, it’d lead to a change in him.
—kenshin:
you always found something. . .interesting about kenshin. you’d learn later that he’s the god of war, the ruthless dragon of echigo that took thrill in the most dangerous battles, but. . .something more to it.
it started when you two where alone in the field, where the fireflies rose as if the stars itself descended down to your presences. such was a sight to behold, kenshin standing amidst it all, having a thousand mile stare, to something lost. no words were said, you were all too mesmerized by the sight.
until, just as the luminescent bugs seem to flicker for just a moment, you see it. someone beside him, faded and clouded, and just as you blinked with a slight gasp, it disappears.
kenshin looks at you, the slight glow shining on his face, the moonlight and fireflies clashing together, “what is it?”
you look into his eyes, solemn and stern. “nothing.” you say, and so, it passes. but it wouldn’t be the last time.
it’s never happened when others are around, you took note. the next time was the night he put you in prison, your distraught was caught off guard last minute.
you see the flickers of a figure again, and this time, it lingers longer. you can see it clearer now. a girl, at around a teenager’s age with long hair. wordlessly, she looks at you with vacant, yet sad eyes, and walks away in the direction of kenshin.
you lean forward against the bars to look more, but. . .she’s gone.
and you keep seeing her, mainly whenever you and kenshin were alone together. hell, you’ve tried to talk to her when the man went away and she lingered, but. . .not even a single word was ever uttered.
as you grew closer and closer to the bunny lord, you’d see clearer his,, overbearing nature towards you, to an extreme needless to say. and soon, you’d learn why.
you listened to the tale and story from shingen, and silently, all the things clicked. that girl,,, it must be isehime then.
returning back to kenshin’s room, once you set eyes, you immediately notice the ghostly figure sitting in the middle. you take a breath, and step in. despite it not facing you, you know it can see you.
“. . .isehime, isn’t it?” you ask, and her head turns to you. with eyes delicately shining, you’d almost see them as if they were alive.
“so you’ve heard.” she answers, a soft whisper.
your eyes land on the ground, thinking, before they rise up to meet hers again, “. . .what is it that bounds your spirit to the living world?” such was a question you’d ask before, and you figured, now that you knew the story, you’ll get an answer.
she gazes at you with deep thought, then turns her eyes to the floor, “i just want to see him move on from what happened that day.”
everything was silent apart from her soft, echo-ish voice. “i know he’d eventually move on from the crush had i lived. and i too, i no longer like him when i was alive. however,” she looks at the clan crest with the same look kenshin had on the night of the fireflies field, “it hurts to see that it haunts him to this day. it hurts—and i can do nothing but watch. he holds a weigh of trauma, and i just—”
her head turns to you, “i just want him to move on. from the pain, the past, all of it.”
and the way she looks at you,,, it’s a look you’re familiar with. as you feel your own weight sink onto your shoulders, you knew, she’s relying on you.
and so it leads us here, now, by a small isolated place in the middle of the woods. you had this night, this one night, to convince kenshin to stop his war against the oda caused by an incident inflicted on you.
in the end, you do. with a promise that you’d stay by his side no matter how dark the road becomes, along with a ripped kimono. . .you hope for a better future for him, with you accompanying him on the rough journey.
through the trees, the faint figure of isehime begins to fade, and with a soft smile on her face, a melancholic look, she whispers to the night, “thank you. i’ll leave him in your hands.”

Hello!
Ikemen sĂŠ request
the warlords realizing that Mc is very popular with their soldiers. Sending love letters and stuff.
IkeSen Boys + Popular!MC
This was so cute ahhh although I'm sorry if it's a little short, there's a lot of Ikemen to get through. Thank you and I hope you like this work!
Nobunaga Oda
Nobunaga thought it was quite odd that there were a lot of presents delivered to you... Which he didn't gift...
After some digging, he found out that you had garnered some popularity after a campaign
He was dumbfounded at the idea that other men could be attracted to you
He didn't quite like that, but being the person he is he did tell you his thoughts
You insisted that you wanted to keep some gifts to distribute to your maids. He agreed, but he just buys better gifts for you anyway
He's not as jealous as you'd expect, since the man is also a bit egotistical when it comes to himself and your feelings for him
"Oh... Nobunaga..." You wanted to laugh at how childish he was but it wouldn't be in the right taste.
You stopped your giggling when Nobunaga muttered, "I could transfer whoever sent those gifts to you away..."
"At least let me keep some!"
He silenced you with a quick kiss. "Whatever you like from the pile, I'll purchase better ones from the merchants."
Hideyoshi Toyotomi
He doesn't want to admit that he's jealous, but he is. He unknowingly calls out the soldier that was about to gift you a present in an oh so convenient timing…
He doesn't take it to such extremes, he still respects the other soldiers. Although, he found it quite tempting from time to time to not bring you along for some campaigns
In this case, he wished that Nobunaga hadn't demanded such things of you. He really does appreciate your skills on the field, but he doesn't like that he can't control how much attention you're getting
He only realises it once someone points it out to him, or when someone sends you a letter. Letters are an absolute no from him
"Lord Hideyoshi, what should I do with these letters for YN?"
"Burn them."
"Lord Hideyoshi, what should I do with these letters from the townswomen?"
"Oh, send them to my office-"
YN smacked Hideyoshi up in the head. "You hypocrite."
Mitsunari Ishida
Mitsunari did notice that you gained a lot of attention, but he knew that it was only from your good merits and character
In no way did he ever thought it was romantic, until Mitsuhide pointed it out
He wasn't sure how to feel about it. Sure, he was happy that a lot of people thought you were a wonderful person
However a small inkling of him wanted to keep it to himself
Seeing the multitude of gifts for you, the guilt hit him hard. What if you wanted gifts all along?
"YN, do you like it when those soldiers give you gifts?" He asked, as you opened another gift that consisted of a bunch of fabrics.
"I do appreciate it," You admitted. "But I don't plan to keep them for long. I share any snacks with the maids and fabrics with the seamstresses. Why?"
He didn't reply, except for the blush that bloomed on his cheeks.
You pecked his cheek, understanding what he meant. "You have no reason to be jealous, my sweet angel."
Mitsuhide Akechi
Not a lot of people can read him, and he uses that to his advantage. He sneaks up on those who had planned to give you gifts, and instead direct their attention to another maid or townswoman
In the end, with this strategy, you don't receive much gifts from soldiers. This doesn't work on his fellow warlords however
With you, he doesn't hide his frown when people like Shingen or Masamune send you gifts
He doesn't care for what reason it was for, the gift shall not be touched by you
"Mitsuhide? Have you seen a package from Masamune? He sent some really pretty Oshu fabrics for me…"
He sipped on his bland concoction of tea. "Why my dear, I wonder where it could be…"
You sighed. "You gave it away didn't you? Now I have to write to Masamune- Ah!"
Before you could continue any thoughts, your charming kitsune sweeped you up in his arms, smiling coyly at you. "Write to him? I'm afraid my jealousy won't allow that YN… I'd certainly be interested in writing my thoughts of you on your body…"
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Ieyasu surprisingly doesn't notice any traffic of gifts to you. It might be due to the fact that he publicly ban any gifters from his estate…
You still manage to get some from soldiers passing by or Ieyasu's fellow warlords gifting you as a token of appreciation
Only when you bring the gift home is when he realises how popular you are. He doesn't initially care, but similarly to Hideyoshi, he gets rid of any letters
He doesn't burn them, but he moreso stages it so you'd see adorable Wasabi chewing on the papers
"Hey Ieyasu? Oh-" You dropped to your knees, seeing Wasabi with some paper in its mouth once again. "Wasabi, you should know better than to chew on my letters! Ha… Looks like I have to apologise later on."
"Do you even remember the soldier that gave you the letter?" He looked up from his work to ask you.
You pouted. "No… But I'm sure I can ask around!"
He patted you head. "Don't waste your time on that. The maids should be done with dinner now. Let's go and eat."
Masamune Date
He notices your popularity early on, but he's not too bothered about it. In fact, he shows off that you and him are in a relationship
It might be a 'rubbing salt in wound' move but he doesn't care. He has a thrill of seeing some of his jealous subordinates, which he trusts that it is in all good favour
With the way he approached it, most admired you in a non-romantic way, and for those few that actually do, Masamune opts for a duel as a 'wholesome' way to solve the solution
The duels end up with him winning, and the challenger often with some pointers from Masamune during fighting
You wiped off Masamune's sweat from his brow, wondering why he suddenly went up to that random soldier. "Did something happen?"
"Didn't he give you that gift earlier?" He asked, confused. He put up a good fight, although he'd probably have to answer to Hideyoshi since the boy was under his army…
You shook your head. "It wasn't. He has a twin, and the twin is working under Mitsunari…"
Masamune stood up, groaning. "Looks like I have another duel YN. I'll be back by dinner!"
"H-Hoi! Masamune!"
Kenshin Uesugi
Jealousy plus Uesugi Kenshin equals disaster in Kasugayama Castle
Kenshin was shocked when he saw the servants carrying the presents in, specifically addressed to 'Princess YN'
No one could stop him from drawing his sword and rushing to the training grounds, where every poor soldier who passed by was forced to duel him
Yukimura and Sasuke were already battered from the multiple duels they had to face. You pitied the poor souls, so you sent some of your maids to heal up the soldiers that faced his wrath
Holding one of your many bunny children, you walked up to your soon-to-be husband, smiling at him. "Kenshin my dear, we should be on our way to our stroll…"
He tugged off the upper part of his kimono, his torso and upper body dripping with sweat from the fights. "I'll be with you YN, I just need to cool off. I shouldn't dirty you with my sweat."
For as much as you wanted to be proper, you couldn't help but stare at your perfectly sculpted fiance. "T-Take you time my dear."
Sasuke Sarutobi
For the many things he was dense about, this was not one of them. He saw the way some of the Nokizaru looked at you
He of course told them off, but he still had an inkling that some didn't get the memo
Within whatever wisdom he had left, he somehow consulted Kenshin on how to resolve this, which ended up Sasuke battling about half of the Nokizaru
You had no words on why half the men were injured and why your boyfriend was bruised as well. Initially you thought it was from some dispute, but Yukimura so kindly filled you in
You tightened the bandage around Sasuke's arm, giving a disappointed look to the group of ninja. "What do you have to say for yourselves?"
"We're sorry Princess YN."
"And what do you have to say, Sarutobi Sasuke?" You huffed.
"I won't go to Kenshin for romantic advice."
"Good."
Shingen Takeda
He is not oblivious to your charms, as well as the way other people were attracted to your charms
He'd be lying if he said he weren't jealous. Of course he was, but he didn't plan to do anything malicious to whoever sent you gifts
They were free to waste their money and/or time, it wasn't his business. He'd however, make it clear that you were taken
He's not above doting you in public, and sneaking kisses in the markets or kissing you as the rain goes by. He's very calm about it, since he sees the way you were attracted to him
"S-Shingen! We're going to a war council!" You patted his face away from your own, as the much taller man held you in his embrace.
"Embarrassed Princess?" He teased, giving you his sweetest smile reserved just for you. "But we've done many affectionate things in public…" "People will see!"
He kissed your cheek. "Let them see how in love we are."
Yukimura Sanada
He is another victim of Kenshin's not-so great love advice, hesitating to pick up his spear at anyone who sent you glances. Well… it was Kenshin's advice… and no way he'd risk getting teased by Shingen by asking him!
He then opted for a silent jealous strategy, keeping you by him and covering you with his body everytime he felt someone looking at you
You wondered why he was acting so odd, after all, you just wanted to go on a nice stroll with Yuki and Muramasa
Luckily, to Yuki's benefit, Muramasa is a good wolf who knows to rip apart any letters that come to you or hound after any men that look at you the wrong way
"Is it just me, or is Muramasa a little more energetic than usual?" You asked your boyfriend as you folded your kimono underneath you to sit on the impromptu picnic blanket.
Yuki shook his head, handing you over the basket of food. "He's probably just excited to see us… I think…" He said, as Muramasa runs off into the bushes with what he could see was a paper in his mouth.
Kennyo
Kennyo doesn't really know what to do with this information. He's quite unsure if you wanted the attention or not
He thought the issue didn't need to be brought to your attention, as most of those around you are most likely his subordinates
He could… simply remind them of the holistic teachings that was preached to them
It does a good effect, as most quickly dispelled any sort of romantic attraction
He doesn't mind his subordinates admiring you out of respect, as he thinks you deserve such respect for your deeds
You clapped your hands after hearing your boyfriend's sermons. "You impress me every time my beloved," You said, pecking him on the cheek. "I'm always in awe when you deliver your preachings."
He shied away from you, "My dear, you praise me so…" He couldn’t stop repeating those praises over and over in his head, wanting to pen down the exact words you said. "Thank you YN."

Giving the Ikesen guys modern outfits (because I can) <Pt. 2>
Yeah, we’re doing this. I've probably put way too much thought and time into this. But at this point I have to share it. Why the Ikesen guys, you ask? Because they have the most traditional clothes, especially seeing that nowadays western-style fashion is present everywhere! Let's get it!
→ PART 1 HERE, if you missed it!
How did this post even came alive? Tbh, I was just browsing Pinterest and one of my secret hobbies is that I like to thirst over fashion runways and designer stuff. Not that I would ever buy them, or have the money to buy them, but I still enjoy it for some reason haha. So one time, I was looking at an outfit and suddenly a warlord popped into my head. That's when I decided that I'll do a full detailed research on this. Inspired mainly by their armors and color palettes. (First I thought about drawing the outfits myself, but my drawing skills are questionable, so I edited them instead. My editing skills are better, I promise.)
Also, as I said; these are from fashion runways, so almost everything is from luxury brands and/or quality designers. So not the 'typical' street fashion, because I figured it would be more interesting this way. Plus since I needed a lot of jackets and blazers for the guys, I'm thanking Balmain, because most of these are from their shows XD.
Takeda Shingen
At first this wasn't quite the outfit I invisioned for him, but after I completed it... You know, it's for the better. He needed something big, something voluminous. I also got mafia boss vibes, like with Nobunaga and this time I really went for it with the coat. The one-piece suit underneath gives a nice contrast and introduces a new accent color! This isn't really in Shingen's palette, but it did good for the whole picture. I was hesitant once again about the boots, but other shoes would have looked wrong so, Shingen will slay the high lace up boots! I added a subtle accessory to his big coat and a hat as well. I feel like he would look good in it!
Tumblr media
Uesugi Kenshin
I found a lot of big, fancy fur coats for him, but I ended up using the smallest and the least fluffy out of them haha. Kenshin is elegant and graceful. They mention it all the time when he's fighting or when they talk about his mere presence. But he's ruthless as well. So something 'painfully' beautiful was the idea. It's a mix of styles and textures with the big fur and checkered jacket, but the long satin suit with a trail underneath. Plus black dress pants. And I may or may not have given him discreet high heels. He needs to look taller next to Shingen lol. He got leather gloves as well, it was to make the outfit complete!
Tumblr media
Akechi Mitsuhide
I know his official nickname in the game is the kitsune, but c'mon! There so many cool clothing pieces with snake designs! I. Just. Had. To. The simple shirt and long skirt-like pants underneath his green coat are to tone down the outfit, because of the pattern. He got some fancy leather dress shoes, in sleek black color as well! Then the coolest piece in my opinion is that big, bedazzled snake that is hanging around his neck! I also wanted to put something to his waist, to make a contrast, then I found these funky glasses with similar snakey design, also some resemblance to the biblical term 'serpent in paradise'.
Tumblr media
Kicho
Well, Kicho is canonically a woman in history. So I dared to give him a more feminine silhouette and garments. His outfit is the most subtle and simplest beside Kanetsugu's. (And mostly my style, I would gladly wear this! XD) The pants' material and its color shifts slightly, so it has an elegant feeling! I also gave him discreet heels, unintentionally this time haha. The top is a shorter winter coat, made from a thicker material and I have to admit that the detail in the front wasn't there at first. I cut it out from a dress and edited it on and it was a really good idea! Plus Kicho got a small Gucci handbag, because he's THE beauty king lol.
Tumblr media
Mori Ranmaru
I don't know why I associated him immediately with butterflies, but it's a thing now! At first I found this adorable coat/poncho and I knew I had to use it! But I needed something under it, so this simple white turtleneck seemed a good contrast. Then the slightly loose pants just looked too cute with the boots! So overall I think it's and adorable, lively outfit, just like Ranmaru! It's not as colorful but I can definitely imagine it on him!
Tumblr media
Ishida Mitsunari
I admit, maybe I've gone a little overboard with him. Again I'm not sure why I associated these long, dangling pieces of fabric to his outfit, but Mitsunari would look absolutely precious! It's a bit chaotic over there, I made it from a lot of asymmetrical coats, dresses, suits. Also the colors are a bit random, but I think it could work? He would make it look good, any day! There's also a graceful vibe to both the outfit and Mitsunari!
Tumblr media
Tokugawa Ieyasu
I had different plans for him at the beginning as well. I wanted a darker color palette and a 'skater-boy' theme, if it makes sense? But in the end that's how it came out. I feel funny about the printed pants, but he rocks it! I had some problems with the white turtleneck under the asymmetric coat, it still looks weird the way it's under it, but I hope it's not that disturbing! The colors are mostly muted, but that dark, wine red does good for the full picture!
Tumblr media
Sarutobi Sasuke
I'll be honest, I feel the least accomplished and proud about this piece but I tried! I wanted to mimic his ninja outfit, but spice things up with this so-called 'tech-wear'? Tech fashion, I think that's how they call this kind of style. I had this idea because it matched him as a ninja, as an astrophysicist and a genius in general haha. I tried to put some more color into it, than the muted grays, I hope it helped!
Tumblr media
Kennyo
I really wanted to keep the traditional feeling of his robes this time! I think I gathered good materials for it, but the top robes look a bit weird and all-over-the-place. The pants are baggy, and maybe the black is too much, but it doesn't need to be colorful, it's Kennyo we're talking about haha. Don't ask about his shoes, I just went with it, it felt right. The purple cape thing behind him was a last-minute idea, but I think it was a good decision to bring back his another main color, beside this dark yellowish shade!
Tumblr media
Well, this was quite the work!
Especially writing the descriptions, but I definitely wanted to do them, to show what were my intentions and ideas! I hope it's understandable and not that repetitive!
Hope you enjoyed!

A Valentine's to Remember
Be My Valentin Content Creation Challenge Day 13- Finding a new tradition for Valentine's Day.
Hosted by: @xxsycamore and @chaosangel767
Fandom: Ikemen Sengoku
Character: All warlords (minus Kicho, I haven't forgiven him for what he has done in Act 2, I don't care how pretty he is) and Ava (my OC/MC)
Slight crack fic-ish. If you've read my previous works, this is similar to Who's your Sengoku Santa. Just had some fun with this one. I hope you enjoy!
A Valentine's to Remember
Warlords, a monk, a couple of ninja, enemies and allies alike, had all gathered in secret. They had all gathered for one imporatnt reason. Only one thing could bring all of these men together.
"We all know why we are here, yes?" Nobunaga asked, taking command of the room.
"Of course." Shingen replied, looking at Nobunaga coldly. "We all received gifts from the beautiful goddess."
"Sasuke, you and Ava share the same original time, correct? Do you have any idea why she made us all these gifts? And with these odd shapes and colors on them?" Mitsuhide asked.
"She said these weird shapes are hearts." Motonari said, holding up the cloth handkerchief Ava had given him, embroidered with an arrangement of flowers and the "hearts" she had worked on.
Each of the men there had received similar gifts from the princess. The colors of the flowers and hearts matched the colors the men typically wore.
"That would be correct." Sasuke said. "I believe that given that it is February, these gifts are Valentine's Day gifts."
"Valentine's Day?" Kenshin asked.
"You see, in our time it is a holiday that is used to celebrate love." Sasuke explained.
"Love?" Hideyoshi asked.
Sasuke nodded. "Yes, these hearts are also used to symbolize love in our time." He continued explaining. "Usually the holiday is for celebrating romantic love, but given that more people are remaining single, more types of love have come to be celebrated. Such as the love you might feel towards family or dear friends."
"I see." Nobunaga said stroking his chin.
"So, these gifts from Lady Ava are her way of saying that she loves us?" Mitsunari inquired.
Sasuke nodded. "Yes."
"Why would she do that, though?" Yukimura asked. "It's not like any of us celebrate this Valentine's Day thing...well except you, Sasuke."
"I myself have never really celebrated it." Sasuke replied. "Until coming here I haven't had anyone that I was that close with."
"The thing that remains is, we all have to come up with something now to show the lass how we feel about her." Masamune said. "Even woo her."
"Are you suggesting a battle for Ava's love?" Kenshin asked, his eyes glinting and hand going to rest on his sword.
Masamune grinned. "That's not exactly what I had in mind, but I'd be happy to give you the battle you've been craving."
"Now this is a show." Motonari quipped.
Sasuke sighed. "Not at all the kind of battle, please Lord Kenshin."
"Killing all of my enemies is the best way to ensure I can have Ava to myself." Kenshin remarked.
"An excellent plan, my lord." Kanetsugu said. "Eliminate your enemies and you will surely win."
"Except that that would upset Ava." Sasuke reminded them. "It would surely break her heart to see people she loves killed."
Kenshin grumbled unintelligibly and removed his hand from his sword and picked up his sake cup.
"I am not opposed to wooing my goddess and letting her know exactly how I feel." Shingen said.
"We definitely have to come up with something special for the princess." Keiji agreed. "Maybe I could write a song for her."
"That would be a good start." Sasuke said. "I think what Ava would appreciate would be if even for one day, everyone could set aside their differences and spend the day together having fun."
"That's impossible." Hideyoshi said.
"Truly, after everything..." Kennyo began, but stopped, when Ranamru put a hand on his shoulder.
"Master Kennyo, it would be for Lady Ava."
"Can you think of a better way to repay her for these beautiful pieces of art?" Yoshimoto asked. "She would get to spend the day with all of the people she loves."
"Are you suggesting a banquet with all of us?" Kenshin asked.
"Yes, that would be good." Sasuke replied. "And I will ensure a large supply of sake and pickled plums for you."
"Ugh, I already have a headache, but I guess since we are all doing it, I will agree." Ieyasu spoke up.
"Alright, but you must tell us of some traditions that are part of this Valentine's Day." Nobunaga said.
Sasuke nodded. "Alright, let's get started."
The group of men then went about gathering everything they could for the party, which they decided would be held in Azuchi's main hall as Ava was still living in Azuchi castle under the care of the Oda forces.
Being the most familiar with the holiday and the only person with his head mostly screwed on straight, Sasuke was put in charge of organizing the party. He broke everyone into groups based on their strengths and giving them each tasks. Masamune and Motonari were in charge of the food. Keiji, Shingen, and Ranmaru were in charge of the entertainment. Yoshimoto, Kennyo, and Mitsuhide were in charge of the decorations. Hideyoshi, MItsunari, and Kenshin were in charge of getting everything and everyone to the castle on time. The rest were told to assist where it was needed, which ended up being in helping Yoshimoto by making more paper roses.
They had gotten the castle seamstresses to help keep Ava busy with a shopping trip in town. Though these men for the most part couldn't stand each other, they had this common goal, to make Ava happy.
As they worked, they actually seemed to be getting into it. Motonari came in carrying a tray of food and looking at the decorations. "The hell is that? Some baby with a bow an' arrow?"
"That is Cupid." Sasuke explained. "Another symbol of the holiday. He is sort of a deity. He goes around shooting people with his arrows and making them fall in love."
"Making people fall in love by shooting them with an arrow? I like that kind of deity." Kenshin said smiling.
Sasuke sighed. "I should have known. I guess you would be a Cupid who stabs people?"
Once everything was in place, they all gathered and waited. A maid was sent to fetch Ava and she soon arrived. Her eyes went wide as she looked at the lavishly decorated hall, covered in paper roses and hearts. She was surprised as she saw all of the warlords gathered there.
"That's a brilliant idea." Kenshin replied.
They managed to continue to work together, getting the main hall ready. They were determined to give Ava a perfect Valentine's.
"What...what is all of this?" She asked.
"It is a Valentine's Day party." Nobunaga answered.
"We wanted to show you our appreciation for your thoughtful gifts to us." Shingen added.
"We thought that a party where you could spend the day with all of us and no fighting would be the best way." Sasuke said.
Ava felt tears stinging her eyes from the sheer happiness she felt. "You guys."
"Come on lass, I made all of your favorites." Masamune said.
"We made them." Motonari corrected. "And I brought some new spices ta make some new stuff. Made some dishes Sasuke said were from yer time."
"This...this is amazing!" Ava exclaimed.
Ranmaru was coming up to Ava and taking her hand. "Come on Lady Ava. We have so much planned for you tonight."
"Yes, we want to thank you for the kindness of your gifts to us." Kennyo said.
As Ava settled in and began to enjoy the food and have fun with her friends, she couldn't help but to look around and wonder. "So...Sasuke you explained Valentine's Day to them?"
"Yes." Sasuke answered.
"And what he told us was that your gifts to all of us indicated that you love us." Mitsuhide said, a teasing smile on his face.
Ava's cheeks reddened. "Well...I mean yes." She admitted. "You're all very important to me."
"And you're very important to us, Ava." Kenshin said. "More important to me than anyone else."
"Don't act like yer more important than the rest o' us, God o' War." Motonari replied. "You don't know what Ava means ta me."
"I already agreed to fight you for her." Masamune said, eyeing Kenshin.
"There is no one here who can claim she is as important to them as she is to me." Nobunaga said. "She saved my life and is my lucky charm."
"Guys, please don't start fighting." Ava said. "I know you all think so much of me since you were all willing to put aside your differences for me for one night."
The warlords were instantly backing down. They were always ready to fight, but one reprimand from her and they were like abashed children scolded by their mother.
"Anything for a goddess such as yourself." Shingen said, giving Ava a charming smile.
Ava smiled. "Thank you guys so much. It really does mean so much to me that you did this for me. I never expected anything in return for the handkerchiefs, but I am so thankful for this. This is the best Valentine's gift I've ever had!"
"Then perhaps we should make this a new tradition." Nobunaga declared.
"A new Valentine's tradition." Shingen agreed.
"I would like that very much." Ava said, happily. "I really do love you all so very much. Happy Valentine's Day!"

In the Spotlight
A Mitsuhide Akechi fanfiction, approx. 1700 words. This scene occurs after the events of the romantic epilogue and includes some of what happens in the part 2 introduction. Mostly fluff!
First: Mitsuhide and the Maiden
Previous: Uncomfortable Questions
Kyubei bowed low and held the position. It wasn’t his first time to report to Nobunaga, but it was his first time to do so without explicit instructions from his lord. He was nervous, but it didn’t show. Kyubei could hold an icy composure as well as Akechi.
“Report.” Nobunaga’s tone was flat, hiding his own frustration.
Hideyoshi and Masamune weren’t trying to hide theirs. The one-eyed dragon was pacing and Toyotomi’s scowl could have peeled paint.
“There is no evidence,” Kyubei cleared his throat, “that the forces at Kasugayama are involved in the attacks on Azuchi. However -” he paused. This was the part that made him sweat. “The disappearance of Lord Akechi and the lady chatelaine coincide with the vanishing of their ninja, Sarutobi Sasuke.”
“I don’t believe it.” Masamune stopped, one hand dropping to his sword hilt. “There’s no way that ninja got the drop on Mitsuhide.”
Hideyoshi nodded. “Agreed. My guess is that they are working together.”
Kyubei interrupted. “I find that unlikely, my lord. At least, in the manner you suggest. If I may?”
Nobunaga indicated he should continue.
“My sources tell me Shingen Takeda is ill, and between the loss of his ally and his ninja, Kenshin is unstable. Seeking conflict within his own forces as well as outside. It is unlikely he is aiding Kasugayama. Though he must have known Sarutobi's absence might . . .” He frowned, wondering how much he should imply, what he could suggest.
Ieyasu saved him the need. “Mitsuhide was making plans for an extended absence. I think we should consider that he has left, with Sasuke, to visit the chatelaine’s homeland.”
Mitsunari nodded. “This would make sense. There could be something about the events of the night he disappeared that forced them to leave sooner than he expected.”
“There’s more to it, and if I know that snake -” Hideyoshi’s rant was cut short by Nobunaga’s raised hand.
“Enough. I did not wish to bare Akechi’s secrets, but Ieyasu is correct. Mitsuhide sought my permission to take the chatelaine to her home. He was uncertain how long they would be gone.”
The room exploded with sound, warlords talking over one another. Hideyoshi was ranting about safety and plots; Masamune demanded permission to seek them out. Keiji was laughing. Ieyasu and Mitsunari were relatively silent, waiting for the excitement to die down.
Nobunaga’s carnelian eyes quieted each man in turn.
When he could be heard again, Kyubei continued. “I made contact with Ranmaru. He is seeking out the forces responsible for the attack on Azuchi, along with other spies in our network.”
“Ranmaru? That boy is afraid of his own shadow. Completely unreliable,” Hideyoshi muttered, not unkindly. “He should be here.”
Kyubei couldn’t help the slight smile at that. He didn’t approve of Ranmaru’s tangled loyalties, but one could not argue with his ability to act a part. “Of course, my lord. But Ranmaru insisted. And he does have many friends to rely on for information.”
Ieyasu stood. “This doesn’t answer my questions though. Where is the chatelaine? Is she safe? When will she return? We all know Akechi has his . . . plans. I’m not worried about him. He’ll turn up when and where he wants to. But she’s -”
“You’re worried about her!” Mitsunari beamed. “I knew you were just trying to hide it when you told me-”
“Shut up.” Ieyasu glared. “I’m just . . . the enemy could use her against us. We need to know where she is.”
“Agreed,” Masamune spoke up. “I will put together a team. We’ll find her.”
“My lords, I am afraid she and Mitsuhide are beyond any team.” Kyubei sighed. “The greater concern is what this impacts and how it will be used against us. The Ikko Ikki are moving. The Mouri clan have resumed pirating, and we know it was Kichou that executed the attack on Azuchi. In addition, we have rumors the shogun in exile is drawing a new following.”
Mitsunari frowned. “Yes, I reviewed several shipment records and troop movements from old loyalist daimyo. It appears we are not done with the shogun as of yet.”
Kyubei bit his lip. The scribe they’d installed should have been satisfied to live in luxurious exile, but it seemed the old shogun’s loyalist stirred his greed. Or maybe they were using him as a puppet. He had no way to know, as the spies in Ashitaka’s court had all fallen silent.
Nounaga spoke again. “Hideyoshi, you and Keiji will pursue the Mouri. Masamune, I want you to make contact with Kasugayama. Offer a truce. See what they can offer up about their missing ninja. They may be willing to hunt down our enemies with us, as it does them no benefit to see this land descend into chaos.” His gaze fell on Ieyasu. “You will join Kyubei’s efforts to track down Mitsuhide and the chatelaine. Your research and his current knowledge will yield results.”
“May I assist Lord Tokugawa?” Mitsunari’s innocent smile could have been worn by an angel. He was completely oblivious to the sudden grimace on his friend’s face.
“You may, in your spare time. I need your mind fixed on calculating provisions, troop movements, bridges, and roads. There will be fighting soon.”
Mitsunari acquiesced with a bow.
Kyubei delivered the rest of his report, and then was dismissed. He went straight to the Akechi mansion and opened a bottle of sake. Alcohol was a vice he rarely indulged in, but today he felt like he needed it. He’d exposed some of his lord’s business without permission. He had no idea how or if this would impact Akechi’s plans. And now . . . he’d be working with Ieyasu. It would be difficult to keep the secrets he needed to keep.
He kept drinking until the room spun and the lights all wore halos. Kyubei might have kept it up, but he ran out of bottles and couldn’t make the walk to fetch more. Instead, he fell asleep, sprawled out on the floor of his lord’s office.
***
Mitsuhide felt a mix of relief and distress when his little one explained the plastic stick on the bathroom counter. It meant they were not having a child together. Not yet, at any rate. And this was good. He was in no position here to father a child. But . . .
The image of himself holding a child. His. Hers. His heart felt too big for his chest, thinking of what such a child would be like. His very own son or daughter. One with his love’s sweetness. His eyes. Her nose. His perception. It made him ache, as if he had an old bruise, a wound that hadn’t healed. Which was completely irrational.
He looked out the train window at the rapidly passing countryside. Trees. Hills. Houses. Different and not so different from the world he knew. He should be spending this time planning the next few days, not moping. Kitsunes did not mope.
“Are you ok? Are you nervous?” His little mouse put her hand on his leg, comforting.
“Yes and yes.” Mitsuhide turned his head to give her a sideways smile. “I have never had to meet the parents of my betrothed.” He had expected Nobunaga to marry a woman to him for political purpose. Some well-bred woman who knew how to run a house and had courtly manners. A woman he would never love, but could put up with, at a distance. Yet here he was.
She laughed. “It will be ok, really. I talked to okaasan and she is excited to meet you. She’s happy for us.”
“And you father?” Mitsuhide raised an eyebrow.
“I’m sure he’ll get used to the idea. He’s just . . . to him, I’m still a little kid. But I’m sure once he sees us together, he’ll come around.”
Mitsuhide was less certain about that. He’d known several fathers and they fell into two categories, most of the time. There were the men who could care less about their children beyond their use to the clan. And there were the men that treated their children as things of wonder. Not that they coddled them - but they cared. About their education, their work, their friends. He was sure his lover’s otousan fell into that second group.
The train stop came sooner than he might have liked. The two of them disembarked. There were only a handful of people getting off the train here, so it was easy to spot her parents.
They were dressed conservatively. Her father was a little shorter than Mitsuhide, and a little thicker around the middle. His greying hair was thin on top, and he wore glasses. Her mother was small and wore a smile he would have known anywhere.
The parents caught sight of them at about the same time Mitsuhide’s study of them finished.
“Otou-chan! Okaasan!” His little mouse flung herself across the platform, and was swept up in a hug from both sides. Tears ran down her face, and her cheeks were stretched in a wide smile.
Mitsuhide felt out of place in this moment of familial warmth. He had no such experience himself, and did not want to intrude either way. He stood quietly, holding their bags. Waiting as they exchanged hugs, kisses, and stammered apologies and explanations. As if they could make up for half a year apart in a few minutes.
Her father finally looked up and met Mitsuhide’s eyes. His were dark and suspicious. Protective. “You.”
His little one smacked his arm. “Be nice, papa. This is my fiancé, Mitsuhide. Mitsuhide, this is my father, Minoru, and my mother, Youko.”
Mitsuhide bowed low. “I am pleased to meet you both.”
Her father didn’t reply, but her mother did. “We are so glad to meet you too! It was such a surprise . . . our little girl . . . disappearing and then -”
“And then coming back with a weird boyfriend,” her father interrupted.
Oh yes. This was already going very well. Just as expected. Mitsuhide straightened and put on his best ‘trust me’ smile. “If there were any way we could have done it differently, I promise we would have. I hope we’ll be able to lay any worries you have to rest.”
She stepped over to his side and took his arm. “Yes, I plan on explaining everything.” His little mouse was the one to look nervous now. And no wonder. After much discussion, they’d decided on telling her family a version of the truth.
In fact, Sasuke and Miyake were supposed to come out the following day to provide backup evidence for their story. But even with that, they were asking her parents to accept a lot all at once. Mitsuhide did not see their chances of success as being very high, but for her, he would try anything.

Hi! Can I request for a Mc that is an Idol(maybe kinda like Ai Hoshino) in the future and them finding out about it?(can you include Kicho and Motonari, please? And the rest is your choice) and I really love your writing!
Hello! I love this idea! Thank you for the request.
Idol MC.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
Nobunaga knew that there was something special about you, something that captivated him. Not only him, but all of those around you, it felt like you were special. It was only when you both go to the future that he finds out why.
The concept of idol was completely new to him, and yet you fit the category perfectly. While there, he was making sure to keep any crazy fans away with his overwhelming dominant aura. It was mostly to keep you safe, and maybe a bit because of jealousy.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
Mitsuhide felt like you were a strange light making way through the darkness that was him, trying to cheering him up even though he never showed his negative emotions. And yet it felt like a light that he couldn’t quite grasp at. That was the perfect concept of an idol and you fit right into it. Despite his feelings, he wouldn’t let you see these vulnerable emotions of his, hiding it by teasing you.
In the future, he noticed how dangerous it was for you, many people also wanted to grasp at your light, even if it meant harming you. Something he wouldn’t allow to happen.
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
Kenshin is already a very possessive person over those he loves, but that becomes more intense with you for two reasons, the first is because he loves you, and the second is because you enchant everyone around you and that makes him easily jealous.
Now, knowing how protective he could be, you thought it was a better idea to reveal to him the truth about your career in the future, rather than letting him finding out there. Maybe going back to the future where you are a beloved idol with a protective Kenshin isn’t a good idea.
Shingen Takeda.
That you are an angel, a goddess, a celestial maiden was perfectly clear to shingen, but that becomes even more clearer with how you naturally shine among others. While you were used to being praised, it felt different when it came from shingen. From him, it wasn’t obsession, it was true love and devotion.
Going to the future was inevitable, but with sasuke’s help, you were able to stay hidden, for the most part, so that Shingen could get his treatment peacefully. He could see just how many other people saw you as an angel there.
Lone forces.
Kichou.
Kichou already knew about you, about your fame in the modern era. From a distance, he couldn’t see what people really saw in admiring you, but it was when you met each other in the sengoku era that he found out.
You were precious, someone who others naturally admired, it almost made him jealous of how unreachable you were. Still, you chose to be near him, and now he would be more selfish by keeping you to himself.
Motonari Mouri.
Motonari had already heard of how the Oda princess was admired, but he managed to confirm that fact after he kidnapped you. Practically all of his crew were enchanted by you, something that, while he kept his distance, annoyed him. What was so special about you, he didn’t quite know until he got closer to you.
There wasn’t a need to go to the future to see how you managed to steal hearts. And as a pirate, Motonari knew he had a great treasure in his hands.

I was recently watching "Teletubbies" with my young nieces (who are BIG fans) and I had an idea: Imagine our beloved Sengoku Warlord Boys watching the exact show with Mai/MC?
But if you never watched it, or if its not to your liking, fine by me. Just felt like asking.
Thanks anyway!!
Hi Anon!
Thank you for dropping by the inbox with an ask! In fact, I have never watched it, so I needed to first watch a few episodes. Um... Well. That theme song is... er... catchy.
Ikesen Warlords Watch The Teletubbies:
Nobunaga: “It is gratifying that in the future, life is relaxed enough that small children are permitted this light form of education and entertainment…. Now. Never show this to me again.”
Hideyoshi:  Watches several episodes out of politeness and then is “rewarded” by a theme song earworm with a mental half-life of six weeks.
Masamune: Tries to recreate Tubby Custard and Tubby toast for MC. First ever food #fail in the kitchens of Masamune.
Mitsuhide: Takes the Tubby Custard off Masamune’s hands. Also… upon learning that the theme song gets stuck in Hideyoshi’s head, makes sure to faintly hum it whenever they cross paths.
Ieyasu: For MC’s sake, attempted to watch it. That is, until the giant baby’s head rises in the sky and he exits so quickly that he creates an Ieyasu shaped hole in the wall. Last seen cowering in a dark room in his manor, clutching his emotional support sourdough starter.
Mitsunari:  Pretends to watch for MC’s sake, but really is just sitting there, re-reading one of the books he has stored in his head. Unfortunately, the theme song also gets stuck in his head (not that he notices), and he unconsciously sings it to himself … which, once again, gives Hideyoshi an earworm.
Keiji and Ranmaru: Are MST3K’ing their way through every episode. Have memorized the opening dance steps. And the theme song (much to Hideyoshi’s dismay).
Kenshin: “What fresh hell… wait. ... Are those bunnies?”
Kanetsugu: Kenshin: “Kanetsugu, we’re watching the Teletubbies.” Kanetsugu: “??” (thinking: “What fresh hell…”) Kenshin: “You will join us, will you not?” Kanetsugu: “I have to go do something on the other side of the castl…” (Looks at Kenshin. Sighs.) “…ok.”
Shingen: Politely watches because MC asks it of him… and is rewarded the Teletubbie’s giant toast/ejector machine inspires an idea for a new kind of catapult. And then is rewarded again when MC is so turned on by watching him build said catapult that she takes the initiative and seduces him.
Yoshimoto:  Finds the show oddly lulling and falls asleep within the first ten minutes. Unfortunately, then he has a nightmare of giant flatulent periscope-like monsters.
Yukimura:  Watches for about five minutes. Turns to MC. “This… explains everything.”
Sasuke:  MC: “Sasuke, we’re watching the Teletubbies.” Sasuke: “We? We who?” Walks into the room sees MC, Kenshin, Kanetsugu, and wall to wall bunnies. What fresh hell…? Backs away slowly.
Kennyo: In theory, likes the idea of a gentle show geared toward soothing small children. In practice – would rather sit down to tea with Nobunaga than endure another episode.
Motonari: Watches the credit sequence, noting the rolling hills and neat flower beds. “MC, is this what it looks like inside yer head?”
Kicho: “And you wonder why I wish to erase this future?”

I Will Take You Tonight (Part 1)

Tumblr media
The glaring rays of the sun cast long shadows on the skyscrapers.
The seventeen warlords and I slipped through time and found ourselves in the parking lot of a TV station building.
Mai: "Sasuke, are you sure this is okay?"
Tumblr media
Sasuke: "Not only did they promise to pay for our performance, but they also promised to arrange a hotel for all of us while we're here. Also, everyone is excited, so I think we'll be fine."
(I never thought this would happen.)
A few hours ago.
We were having a tea party when we suddenly got caught in a wormhole and transported back to the present day.
Just when we were wondering what to do, a TV station staff passed by and spotted all the warlords.
(It's incredible to think that we'll be appearing on TV. And to top it off, the concept of the show is一)
Ranmaru: "Phantom Thief, huh? I'm looking forward to it, Lady Mai!"
Mai: "Yeah, I wonder what it will be like."
The show's concept was for everyone to split into three groups and engage in a treasure hunt, dressed up as phantom thieves.
(I think it's a typical variety show, but I wonder if everyone will be okay.)
Despite my concern, everyone was in high spirits.
Tumblr media
Keiji: "I'm just grateful that they're willing to give us a place to stay just so we can have a fun treasure hunt."
Kanetsugu: "I'm just thankful we didn't end up on the street."
Yoshimoto: "I guess it's gonna be different competing with the tools of this era."
Kenshin: "If it's a game, I won't lose."
Kanetsugu: “I’ll be happy to help you, Lord Kenshin.”
Nobunaga: “We still don’t know what will happen to the groupings, though.”
Staff 1: “Everyone, please follow me to the waiting room!”
With the call from the staff, everyone stepped into the TV station, one by one.
(This is nice!)
(Hm?)
At that moment, I suddenly felt someone’s gaze and looked behind me, but there was no one there.
Staff 1: “Miss, please come with me.”
Mai: “Ah, okay.”
(I’m sure they’re looking because it’s weird to see everyone in kimonos.)
(Even I would be surprised if I walked by knowing nothing about it.)
I drew that conclusion and walked into the building as well.
Nobunaga: “How do you like it, Mai?”
Mai: “Wow! You all look fantastic!”
(They’re just like the phantom thieves I see in movies and dramas!)
I met up with everyone after they had changed their outfits and was surprised to see their dazzling appearance.
Kicho: “It looks elaborate, but it’s pretty easy to move in.”
Kennyo: "It seems that each of us has been assigned a specific gemstone, indicating our respective teams."
Motonari: "The costumes also have a distinct design to avoid confusion."
Tumblr media
Team "Sapphire" consists of Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, Mitsunari, Shingen, and Yoshimoto.
Team "Ruby" consists of Masamune, Kanetsugu, Yukimura, Sasuke, Keiji and Ranmaru.
While Team "Diamond" consists of Mitsuhide, Kenshin, Motonari, Kennyo, and Kicho.
Mai: "You all look really cool!"
(If everyone appeared on TV dressed like this, someone might start a fan club.)
Masamune: "Are you willing to be stolen by me?"
Mai: "Masamune?"
Masamune suddenly hugged me by the shoulder, surprising me.
Ieyasu: "Hey, Masamune. Stop pestering Mai."
Mai: "Ieyasu."
Ieyasu pulled me away from Masamune and hugged me, making me tense.
Yoshimoto: "Fufu, perhaps competing to win over Mai isn't a bad idea after all."
Yukimura: "Don't hold her hands, Yoshimoto."
Mai: "Please compete for the treasure, not me."
Just as it seemed the competition was about to begin, the staff returned.
Staff 1: "Here are some of the props. Feel free to use whatever is inside this box. I have preparations to make for the set, so if you'll excuse me."
Ranmaru: "Lord Sasuke, what's this?"
Sasuke: "That's a wire gun. It's a gun, but a wire pops out of it, and you can use it in different ways."
Motonari: "What is this kite-looking thing?"
Tumblr media
Kicho: "That's a hang glider. It's like a kite, but you can use it to move through the air."
(There are warning cards, paint guns, smoke screens, and all kinds of things.)
I stared at everyone as they got excited, and the door to the waiting room suddenly opened.
Staff 2: "I have a favor to ask of your female friend."
A different guy approached and beckoned me over.
Mai: "Okay."
Tumblr media
(How far will we go?)
I followed him, and he led me down to a deserted hallway.
Mai: "Um..."
Mai: "----!"
At that moment, someone suddenly covered my mouth from behind, and I desperately tried to resist.
(I'm losing strength.)
Then, I lost consciousness.
At that time, in the dressing room一
Yoshimoto: "Mai sure is late."
Tumblr media
Kanetsugu: "Didn't the staff call her?"
Ranmaru: "I'm worried. I'll go check on her."
Just as Ranmaru placed his hand on the doorknob, the door opened.
Staff 1: "Is something wrong?"
Mitsunari: "One of the staff called our friend to leave. Do you know anything about it?"
Staff 1: "What? I don't think we have a staff like that."
Everyone: "!"
As if triggered by the staff's words, everyone dashed into the hallway.
Kennyo: "Is this Mai's earring?"
Yukimura: "She was wearing that. It's strange that it fell here."

You said you were taking questions about your OC. So I wanted to ask, Who is Kotaro and how does he relate to the world of IkeSen? :)
About the character
Kotaro is a samurai part of the Uesugi-Takeda clan, specifically he is a vassal of Kanetsugu. He would originally be my MC's son with Kenshin, so he is not inspired by any real historical character, but in the end I liked the idea of developing him in the present of the game.
If he had a part in the game, he would be seen with Sasuke or Yukimura, however, he would not show his sweet personality with the heroine, but his more serious and professional side. You could say he doesn't like MC, unless he's in Sasuke, Kenshin, Shingen, or Yukimura's route.
Some data
The story isn't 100% developed and is subject to change. I will not give many details at the moment
He lived with his parents only until he was five years old. He doesn't remember much of them
At the age of eight, a traveling merchant found him and took with him to finish raising him
Received training to be a samurai from the age of 13
He is currently receiving ninja training from Sasuke
He is in charge of waking up and giving reports to Kenshin every morning
The traveler taught him to prepare some desserts. That is all his culinary knowledge
In battle he does not hesitate to kill someone if necessary. Don't let his appearance fool you
Kanetsugu is a bit overprotective towards him, so he doesn't send him on many high-risk missions
He is terrified of bees. Do not expect a romantic date in a field of flowers unless you want to carry him in your arms and shaking
He doesn't get along with Mitsuhide. The feeling is mutual
Although the term does not exist yet, it could be said that he is asexual
Shingen is like a father image to him
This at most similar to what I imagine his voice would be
Coming soon
His route
In the morning I was thinking about what his route would be like and some general ideas came up
I want to clarify that it is something different from what Cybird normally offers us, more than anything because I would like to experiment with the relationship that the characters have, and that it is also subject to change
First chapters
Shingen wants to take the princess of Azuhi hostage and Kotaro offers to bring her
MC meets a certain boy in the city, who defended some children from a drunkard. It doesn't take long for them to become close and then friends
MC starts to see Kotaro as a little brother
Two weeks later, she is led into a trap and kidnapped
Chapeter 5-9
Kotaro realizes that he feels strange when he sees MC smile. It's nice to spend time with her.
He begins to wish that she and the others no longer see him as a little child
MC wonders whether or not she should return home
Kotaro realizes he's in love
MC realizes she's in love
Latest chapters
Kotaro goes to battle with a broken heart
MC ends up seriously injured
Romantic ending: MC returns to the future Dramatic ending: Kotaro returns where it all began
[Scene out of context]
Kotaro: "I just ask you to wait for me and give me a chan-"
His hands were shaking as they held mine
MC: "No"
[...]
MC: "I'm sorry, I'm very sorry, but I don't see you the same way. I just can't love ... someone like you."
There was a silence that seemed eternal. I swear I heard a crack inside his chest.
[...]
In his eyes was not that bright so characteristic of him. Some tears were looking for a way to steal the attention from his face.
Kotaro: "I ...I'm sorry. Um, I think-I think I have to go."
His broken voice broke my heart. Before I could say anything else to him, he turned and walked away as fast as he could. I felt Shingen's hand on my shoulder, as if telling me not to follow him
[...]
(I did the right thing ... right?)
If you have any questions, you are free to ask. I did not upload a drawing because nothing came out T-T

A/N: 2nd Chosen Lord - Kenshin
Mitsuhide
It's a mutual agreement between them; for the sake of safety as well, as he is the left hand man of Oda Nobunaga at that.
Or in other words, the job of gaining information to any suspicious individual especially this daimyo, who is currently sitting in front of his lord, accompanied by his gifts all over them, particularly MC.
He had come to propose a marriage, an attraction over a small courtesy that MC had showed him-- JUST BECAUSE he were assisted by MC few weeks back when he made a visit in Azuchi.
"She is kind, like a goddess that were sent for me. I have fallen in love and I would like to wed your princess, Lord Nobunaga."
"Hoooh.. Marriage."
Thankfully MC were guarded by Mitsuhide himself, of where.. She is placed behind a separate place-- a divider precisely, so much of being a princess. Why?
The moment it had come to his knowledge that someone is interested with his lover, he had prepared everything beforehand. He had suggested that he, himself, to guard MC. Or in other words, it's like a warning of "Before you get to her, step over my dead body first."
As expected, the daimyo is impatient. The moment he heard him utter "I want to see the princess..!"
He immediately went inside to her surprise, "Mi- Mitsuhide--" and paused when he whispered something to her. "You.. Are you sure..? Wouldn't it trouble you-- mmn-"
"Wha?? What is the meaning of this??"
That moment when he kissed her, the daimyo had pulled the divider at the same time, revealing the lovers' 'secret'.
Nobunaga and Masamune were already amused, followed by bewildered Hideyoshi and Ieyasu, as well as Mitsunari.
"My, I apologize for the scene I have caused, My lord." Mitsuhide grinned to the daimyo as he pulled her closer. "I can't hold back this secret anymore myself as-"
"..As I am having his child in me." MC continued, burying her head in his chest after she murmured the words. Clearly she is embarrassed to go along with Mitsuhide's idea.
BAM!!!
...The daimyo fainted.
With a smirk, Nobunaga dismissed the daimyo and his vassals, of where, he also decline this proposal on the same day. Looks like he had known about this secret
relationship and go along with Mitsuhide's own plan for the fun of it.
Kenshin
He, who is known to show no interest in marriage, is less to be the topic of one's suspicion obviously. Especially when it comes to relationship itself. So he and MC agreed to keep it that way.
That's where she had become the point of interest from other people. With "Ooh Kasugayama has a princess." and "I have seen her, she is beautiful just like the rumors."
Kenshin had declined all of the proposals, despite some of the daimyo had a good advantage through a marriage. Until one day, a surprise visit from one of the interested daimyo happened.
The room were silent, creepily silent, because he has been glaring at the daimyo for quite sometime- more like- ever since he stepped into his castle. Plus, another thing that makes him irritated with the daimyo is that...
....He is serious in this proposal.
But it won't stop Kenshin from stopping it either. He had declined the proposal through and through, however,
"Ehh--"
His mismatched orbs glint with murderous aura the moment the daimyo pulled MC's hands in his, hovering over her figure with "Please..! Please marry me! I can't hold it anymore..! You are so beautiful, and I can't-- EEEEKKKKK!!!"
"M-MY LORD?!!"
So called daimyo automatically let go of MC the moment Kenshin's blade touch upon his neck. "Hands off of her, or else your head will be displayed at the town's gate." He hissed. At the same time, there's a wave of gasps around him when he hold MC close to his chest as he declared,
"From this day on, there will be no more proposals. She belongs to me and only me."
"Finally he is being honest." Shingen shrugged with a chuckling Yoshimoto, followed by the dense Yukimura and Sasuke with his thumbs up. "Yes, finally. Ah, it's an honor to witness korean drama-like-scene in front of me (´・ェ・`)✨✨✨."
