House md headcannons/ things I'd make cannon if I remade House

- Trans woman Cuddy. Not much else changes, she's just trans. She fully transitioned a few years to the show starting

- House constantly implies he's trans in one way or another, all that's ever confirmed is that he has a dick. No one knows if he is post op trans man or pre op trans woman. Wilson knows House just genuinely does not care about gender at all. There are multiple episodes where Cameron uses she/her for House

- Cameron is aromantic Allosexual. She realizes this early in the show and it's dived into more during her fuck buddy thing with Chase

- Wilson is bi (this is canon already as far as I'm concerned)

- House is grey romantic and gay. He fucks women still, just because it's "easier to get a woman to bed than a man"

- Wilson and House end up in a QPR. This is done by Wilson discovering QPRs and excitedly showing House "hey guess what you can have a relationship if you want to!" And House just "yeh that's what we have dipshit" it's never actually brought up again. Viewers cannot tell if this was House being House or if it was the QPR being made official

- Chase has a fear of rabbits (no clue where this one came from I'm just fully convinced of it) he prefers snakes, and makes jokes about feeding rabbits to snakes when rabbits get brought up. Cameron yells at him about this every time

- Wilson gets a male love interest a little bit before Amber, everyone is shocked except for House and Cuddy. Wilson thought everyone knew he was Bi already

- Foreman has an arc where he questions his own sexuality because of Cameron finding hers. He decides he's straight, but not opposed to the idea of dating a man if he met the right guy

I've always seen Quentin Quire as truly cynical, broken, insecure yet MAGNIFICENT young mutant with a bi-curious tendency, but very much girl obsessed, young man (canon material is right there, he always TRYING to flirt with all the girls). He has so so much potential, that Logan sees himself in him and basically becomes his adoptive daddy because he is so troubled and powerful that he knows, left unchecked, he is a major problem.

It's sad and extremely funny, in romance he fails every single time. Just like his "daddy" too, but in a way less charismatic way.

Sophie Cuckoo rejected him, died, got resurrected by him after he spiraled and prefered to stay dead than be with him.

He kissed time displaced Jean Grey and got rejected. (These men love themselves some Jean Grey)

Tried to flirt with Laura Kinney and got rejected.

Tried to flirt with Illyana Rasputin and got rejected.

Gwenpool hated his guts, but there still was chemistry, so they hit it off... but then she breaks up with him via text message. Then when he is pinning over her and helping her understand she is a mutant, she just ignores his romantic advances completely lol

Phoebe Cuckoo ( yes, ANOTHER CUCKOO; get the twin sister if you can't get with the first choice I guess ) hides him from her sisters, not because she wants him only for herself, which actually is pretty manipulative to say... because she is embarassed of liking him and entertaining him in front of them. Even when she takes him to Jumbo Carnation, she says he was always great to her, but she had set it all up for a makeover session... something he did not ask for; even while Quentin was venting about his trauma, she already set this up without informing him.

She broke up with him because and let me paraphrase, he cares too much for her and that scares her, making Quentin spiral.

He is unlucky, or makes himself unlucky, he sabotages himself, because the only truly decent relationship, seeing eachother as equals and having mutual genuine interest and attraction, he fucks up. Idie.

Idie thought Quentin was temptation (gurl; stand up 🥴💀) because Hope told her to no matter what, stay away from him, which Idie obviously did not do; Quentin thought she was really attractive and approached her first. Idie and Quentin were friends, they had banter, they communicated openly, they were classmates, they got into trouble together, they saved eachother, they pushed eachother to be better. I dare even say that, after he dated her, he became more selfless and tried to help others against his better judgement. Like when he gave up the remnants of his phoenix force to save Jubilee and re-store her mutant powers.

And their interactions are all bittersweet, because there still are feelings there, undiscloused desires? Mayhaps.

This last one is the least incendiary relationship (when we don't take into account their possible futures) but the healthiest, because the relationship does not radicate in humiliation and denial, I'mma be honest.

idk how tim is keeping her around… like its so clear the fandom hates her and wants her gone- just read the comments on the stills. i understand that her contract probably requires her to be in a certain number of episodes, but tim has really fucked with her storyline this season and made her a bigger character than she ever needed to be and i genuinely don’t understand his choice to do so… if it were to somehow play into eddie’s sexuality, there are a myriad of other ways that could be introduced without givinf a transphobe screentime and along with some of tim’s other choices this season really makes me doubt if he knows what he’s doing at times…. i was so excited for him to come back as showrunner because i thought yk maybe they would stop dragging their feet on buddie but every day it feels more and more like baiting and that we’re simultaneously closer yet further away than we’ve ever been and it’s making me not trust time anymore. and with the jlh live making the joke about buddie not happening it’s making it so hard to remain optimistic… like i will forever be a buddie shipper first and foremost, but i also know how network tv shows use shit like this to their advantage when it comes to baiting and pulling in audiences to watch- it’s been done over and over and over and as much as i want to believe tim wouldn’t do that to us, it’s getting harder and harder to trust him every day. i’ve never considered folding in a series i’ve so vehemently loved before but this season has really messed with my head and i don’t know if i can continue putting myself through the torture if there won’t be any payoff.

1. Jlh will only have limited knowledge like Devon was saying even her, edy and Ryan were trying to get info from eachother on who’s staying and stuff and also jlh did clarify it’s a joke and also if buddie were going to have some confirmation this season they would be telling all the actors to keep it hush hush and throw people off guessing it

2. It’s true tv networks do like using that stuff to promote shows but also abc very much seems to recognise that fans make or break a show that’s why you see a lot of shows on it like greys or the rookie do tend to keep an eye on fan reactions and respond accordingly and by that logic if the tv network is aware enough of the fact they can promote a show by even hinting at buddie undertones then they know that full canon would do favours for their ratings, and Tim did say one of the main obstacles to bi buck canon was the network back when they were on fox

3. Things are constantly in progress and we still have s8 so there is never cause to be like there is no hope, like if they didn’t want buddie canon on the table they would have said so but they constantly establish that it’s on the table and if the story progresses that way then they’d all be on board

I have two major ships that are unpopular but i really like! Albeit they are unpopular for two wholly different reasons, because one (malmiq) is incest and the other (ranni/tiche) is pretty much something i invented from scratch

Funnily enough, before dlc i didnt care much for it. I was very "oh they are codependent and malenia's dialogue does sound Suspect" but didnt put much thought into it. Then post dlc spite + me in the last year becoming much more outspoken into shipping incest and it became an OTP full force.

They are everything to me soulmates tragic siblings each other's halves the full manifestation of the inherent claustrophobia of incest. They are very antigone and polynices core to me (<-unhinged statement). Canon sunk the ship with a cannonball but it doesnt matter for i have mastered the art of Ignoring

Ranni/Tiche is very. Oh ok i made it up. My brain was like "oh so ranni instituted the NOTBK, she's also canonically into women, alecto had a daughter old enough to be an assassin herself so tiche might have been around ranni's age" and ran with that

I do not think their relationship ever ended up into something. I think they had a sort of unaware mutual pining where ranni truly didn't realize her feelings for tiche until she died, while tiche died bitterly and thinking that her Dear Friend ranni abandoned her (not too far from the truth tbh)

Just gonna go off of what's listed on the shipping wiki, cause if I tried to rate every single pair with him with the amount of characters in these games we'd be here all month.

Phoenix x Iris: 8/10; very cute, me likey. Iris genuinely caring for Phoenix while pretending to be Dahlia is super sweet, and Phoenix instantly being able to tell the difference between Iris n Dahlia is concrete evidence he knows her like the back of his hand. While I personally don't see them dating again post-Bridge, they'd definitely stay good friends forever.

Phoenix x Mia: 4/10; can't imagine this relationship lasting very long before death knocks on their door, but the utter grief is suffocating. Their relationship would just be full of sadness on both ends; they'd probably date for a short time just to try to forget Mia losing Diego and Phoenix being betrayed by Dahlia. Romance as a coping mechanism.

Phoenix x Maya: 0/10; nuh uh, they're siblings to me. I refuse to see them in a romantic light personally, but it certainly isn't the end of the world if I come across it. I don't care what anyone else does, I just don't ship it in the slightest.

Phoenix x Dahlia: 4/10; only fun if it's one-sided. I wanna see either Dahlia silently hating Phoenix's guts as he boasts the pretty lil necklace she gave him, or Phoenix cursing under his breath at the thought of talking to Dahlia again while she's possessing Maya. I need them to be bitter or I shall turn my nose up at it.

Phoenix x Doug Swallow: 2/10; this is a thing apparently, according to the wiki. I mean, I can guess why people might ship it; Doug basically saves Phoenix from the impeding doom of Dahlia and then they make out about it. Only reason it's rated so low is cause I haven't seen anything about this ship to really get a sense for their chemistry, but I do get the baseline concept.

Phoenix x Godot: 6/10; a ship I see a surprising amount of content for and I think it's getting me to like it more. Another relationship sunken in grief, but it's a much better fit on them in my eyes. Coffee dates are the best dates. Imagine all the coffee shop AUs that exist just for them.

Phoenix x Gumshoe: 5/10; neutral on this one, but I do like the concept! Just a couple o' guys staking out crime scenes together, lovin' their work. The best dudes for the job. They're supposed to be rivals but it never works. They're homies for life.

Phoenix x Kristoph: 7/10; if I liked Kristoph more, I might like this ship more than I already do. I am a sucker for toxic yaoi, so I'll gladly take it! Kristoph definitely has respect for Phoenix, as much as he hates to admit it, so why not seal the deal by making them have a very shaky relationship that ends in one framing the other for murder. Phoenix is suffering Edgeworth withdrawal and it's leading him to dark places. Kristoph is the Maria to Phoenix's James (n Edgeworth's Mary) and no one can tell me otherwise.

Phoenix x Lang: 5/10; I have no idea where this ship materialized from, but it just sounds funny. Alpha Wolf hot shot and his sassy lawyer boyfriend. If you thought Phoenix's sass was apparent enough already, Lang just intensifies it by being around him and they have a blast gossiping about the competition. I wanna see them interact in canon now.

Phoenix x Edgeworth: 10/10; A CERTIFIED CLASSIC! ONE OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF MLM SHIPS! THEY ARE A PART OF INTERNET HISTORY! It's so hard for me to ever think of them not being hopelessly in love with each other. They're husbands to me. They have matching wedding rings you just need to look closer.

Phoenix x Larry: 3/10; I don't like Larry so in turn it's really hard for me to like this ship. I think it could be interesting if teen Phoenix is in his bicurious era and does practice dates with Larry who is more than willing to help him out. Two men realized they're bi that day.

Basically, Will found out and got PISSED because it was supposed to be the two of them against the world, as the paragons, but Grell had to throw that away for some girl

He didn't rat her out immediately because he still loves her and doesn't want her to get in trouble before something serious could be used as evidence

Also he basically helped lessened her sentence because he's soft for her, even if he wants to deny that

William is one of the few people who has seen her cry, other than Othello of course

He knows she has always put on a tough persona for everyone else because she doesn't like anyone knowing they got under her skin. It annoys him a bit because he's thinking "why can't you be honest with yourself? To me?"

And Grell absolutely hates how he knows a little too much about her. She doesn't show it or tell him, but it is something she internalizes a lot

William knows how much Grell likes and adores playing with children. He even called her out once when she told him she doesn't "do kids"

If they met each other in their human life, I believe they either would've gotten married secretly eventually or hate each other and thought nothing more of it

Grell's thumb is literally more artistic than Will could ever be so he looks up to her (secretly) in that regard

I think a younger Grell had told William some bits of her life, especially her ex wife (that I mentioned once or twice before) and the first man she ever liked. I imagine William not being insecure about it because he's like "he's your first love, I intend to be your last"

3. How did you choose their name? 

I picked Wren because I was picturing them with light brown hair, kind of the color of a wren - so a little bit arbitrary, lol. For their last name, Argent, I think I just picked it because it sounded cool.

14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

Thing Number One: They're too confident for their own good, and this will always get them into trouble. Thing Number Two: They're too witty for their own good, and this also gets them into plenty of trouble.

15. What is something about your OC that can make you laugh? 

Oh, always their dialogue. Either in villain form or civilian form, Wren has been funny from the beginning. I was rereading an early draft today where they (as Phantom) said, in the middle of a fight, "I'm new at this whole villain thing, am I doing okay?" and I laughed out loud.

First thing, Doctor Professor is dry and sarcastic as fuck; this is generally their default. Second thing, though: although they do this to Vale, too, they can never directly undermine him in front of other people. They just won't do it; they know it'll piss him off too much.

18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC? 

I discovered that Doctor Professor is a super fun first-person narrator! I wrote a short story from his POV for my fiction class and I had a great time with it. He's very good at balancing humor with seriousness, which is incredibly important in his profession as a villain-medic.

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

Doctor Professor was her drag name in college!! She only stopped doing drag because she just doesn't have enough energy for performing, lol (and probably because med school was eating up a lot of her time). She picked it as her villain name because she knew it would annoy Vale.

And last but not least, Axton Vale:

14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

First thing: Vale handles himself with a surgical precision. Every action and word out of his mouth is incredibly deliberate - if it's not, then something has gone horribly wrong. Second thing: He must be in control of every situation at all times. He cannot, under any circumstances, show vulnerability, which includes any indication that he cares about anyone other than himself. (There are some universes where he's progressed beyond that a little bit, but not in canon, lmao.)

18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC? 

Axton Vale is queerer than I thought! He's actually demiromantic and demisexual, in addition to being bi - not that he would ever claim any of these labels for himself. He believes that he's an average heterosexual man, and nothing will convince him otherwise. But he feels genuine attraction much less often than he thinks he does. It would probably be useful for him to at least learn that there's a difference between romantic and sexual attraction, but I'm not sure that he ever will.

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

Oh, boy. It's hard to pick one that's unrelated to me laughing at him for being a repressed cishet man. I guess a fun one is that he has unexpectedly strong opinions about interior design. He prefers a certain modern minimalist aesthetic, but he doesn't like stark white HGTV hellscapes, either. He and DP used to watch home design shows just to make fun of them.

The Witcher Season 3, Vol 1 - thoughts

Hi! Me! I just have to make a post because I binged all 5 eps yesterday and I am having thoughts and feelings and I need to get them out somehwere!

Long post ahead!

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR S3 VOL 1 BELOW!!!

So...JASKIER IS BISEXUAL!!!!

AND HAS A BOYFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just...I have so many feelings about this. Like, as a bi person, it means so much to see one of my fave characters be blatantly bisexual on screen! Also, Jaskier has had so much shit recently, and he deserves someone who loves and appreciates him properly, and I am very happy he got that.

I admit, I was worried about Radovid at first, I thought he'd be manipulative and scheming, especially being with Philippa and Dijkstra, but no, he seems like a sweet, kind man. Also, he instantly fell in love with Jaskier and is so fucking whipped for him - he performed his song to him cause he loved it, MY HEART!! Like...they are just the best, and I'm worried the relationship or one of THEM won't survive the season...but for now, HELL YEAH FOR JASKIER X RADOVID!😍🥰

Right - the plot has actually been pretty solid so far, and I'm enjoying it!

Ciri and Jaskier's dynamic is to DIE FOR and I am so happy they seem to be getting along. Would've loved to see the development of the uncle Jaskier and niece Ciri, but that's what fanfic is for I guess! Also, Yen, Ciri and Geralt as a family was fucking adorable.

Hell yeah for Yarpen being back, and for his arc of finally calling Jaskier by his name when Jaskier helped save his people! Also I screeched when Jaskier got shot with that arrow - I genuinely fear he might be killed, though I'm not sure why...🥺😬

GERALT AND JASKIER TRAVELLING TOGETHER, BESTIES HELL YEAH!!!!!🎉 Like, I would like a PROPER apology Geralt (I sigh, and turn to fanfiction, knowing canon will never give that to me), but I am so happy to see them back together. Also, the friendly banter and teasing, the casual affection, the fact that Geralt is actually asking Jaskier to help him and they seem to be super close again, like that is PRECIOUS TO ME!

I would've liked more Yennefer and Jaskier interaction though, I missed them, but hopefully we'll get that in Vol 2, cause we see a Yenskier hug in the teaser!

Geralt is such a dad, and he's been so good with Ciri (mostly) and it warms my heart seeing him be so tender to her. Like, they are just the best! That bit when she jumped on him, and they wrestled playfully?! MY HEART!😍 (Also, RIP original Roach, gone but not forgotten)

Yen and Geralt as a (romantic) relationship have grown on me, I admit, and they had amazing chemistry, especially those last 2 eps, but I am a firm Geraskfer lover (and I love Yenskier and Geraskier seperately too; I started a Geraskier girl though and always will be). Having them at that Ball, and being a power couple was the best though!

Speaking of the Ball, FUCKING STREGOBOR GOT FUCKED UP HELL YEAH FUCK THAT DUDE!!!! I HAVE HATED HIM SINCE S1, SO GLAD HE'S GETTING WRECKED!!!🎉😎 Also, that fucking Vilgefortz twist...I KNEW I DISLIKED HIM FOR A REASON! But that whole thing was so well done, and also, Istredd and Geralt dancing together... I died laughing!!!🤣

Philippa is actaully super interesting and I'd love to know more about her! Seeing Cassie Clare acting more is making me love her though, and I hope she gets to shine again as Mazikeen in Sandman as well. She's so talented.

Ngl, hate Francesca now. She lost her baby yeah, but then she KILLED INNOCENT BABIES AS HER REVENGE? LIKE NO. THAT'S NOT OKAY. That turned me against her, and she's just generally pissing me off, which is a shame cause I really liked her in S2. Glad Fringilla escaped though, wondering when we'll see her again!

Also, is it bad that I kind of shipped Cahir and that elf, Gallatin?🤷‍♂️ Idk, I thought they were cute. Ffs Cahir, killing him?! Also, detour, but, Dara's hair though?! Phenomonal!

Also, so happy to see Jaskier already in four episodes, and we're deffo getting more of him! So glad my boy is getting to do more this season!

Anyway, that's it, for now. I needed to scream about S3!

when I read the succubus chapter I genuinely thought marcille's succubus was a woman who kind of dressed more masc so I was really excited and enthusiastic abt the lesbian marcille hc but in hindsight he was indeed a man and she IS an elf so gender presentation isn't exactly the same as it is for humans, and calling her a lesbian bc the dude who was generated for her looked feminine to humans is a little narrowminded (edit: I read this in a post and it sounded right but I don't actually remember anything backing it up so citation needed - thistle, I guess?), and also bi women who are into feminine men are STILL bi so. while I do like the lesbian marcille reading a lot, I don't agree with coming to that conclusion due to what happened in the succubus chapter and canonically she is probably bi

She’s so Cheeky for a Commoner Volume 2 Thoughts

I’m back, and incidentally, I’m still be doing I’m in Love with the Villainess content. For clarification, She’s so Cheeky for a Commoner is a spin-off series that follows Claire’s point of view of the many events early in the series. However, it is not a complete retelling of the series, it only retells certain key moments, while sprinkling in entirely new scenes, new characters and story arcs, as well as occasionally giving the perspectives of different characters. It does not serve as a substitute for the original light novels, and you should still read those first if you don’t want to be spoiled.

Anyway, this particular book only covers Chapters 4 through 6 from the original series, with Chapters 7 and 8 presumably being covered in Volume 3. Spoilers below.

Starting off, we have the Scales of Love arc. My first point of interest was how much more conscious Claire was of Rae’s change of behaviour, and yet so oblivious to the cause.

The first big change is the conversation with Loretta and Pepi about their doubts and suspicions about Manaria. To be fair, those two didn’t become actual characters until the manga fleshed them out. Interestingly, they actually asked Rae for her opinion and took her observation into careful consideration. Turns out, Loretta also had another more personal reason why she was weary of Manaria.

Follow that up with Rae nearly dying in Claire’s arms and her going off at her precious Manaria for it. She seemed harsher here than in the anime.

It makes sense that after the “breakup” the first person to truly get a chance to console Claire without any ulterior motive would be Catherine. They are roommates after all. Also, we finally get to see what Catherine looks like. She’s so adorably and sweet, it’s all the more unacceptable that the rest of her family (who will likely be the death of her) are all complete scumbags and criminals. So Catherine manages to convince Claire to patch things up with Rae, unfortunately, while this conversation was happening, Manaria was escalating things yet again.

Personally, I think the anime did the confession best. Actually, my last post was a reblog of that scene.

Okay, so Claire is being congratulated and teased by Misha, the Princes and the minions. First interesting thing, we’re establishing the Rod is already into Rae and intends to pursue her but is letting Claire have her turn, I guess. Second interesting thing, everyone assuming it is a given that Rod will snatch Rae from Claire. To be fair, it is assumed at this point that Rod will be King, and none of them could imagine that Rae has such a fundamentally different view on marriage than the rest of them.

So now we enter that very weird stage in Rae and Claire’s relationship. They’ve finally acknowledged that Rae’s feelings are genuine and are requited, but they’re not actually together-together, yet. In Claire’s case, the issue is that all her social conditioning is telling her it is always the guy to make all the moves.

Apparently, Claire can get anxious whenever Rae acts overly familiar with anybody of the opposite gender. She knows Rae is gay, and will never fall for a man, but she doesn’t want any of them getting the wrong idea and thinking they can hit on her Rae.

Okay, so Loretta is also in love with Claire. I’m not surprised that so many characters are in love with our protagonists, but I find it somewhat comical that the canonically bi one only has other women falling for her, and it’s the lesbian who happens to also attract men. Claire is such a girl magnet, she might give even Manaria a run for her money if she really tried.

Also, unsurprisingly, Pepi has fallen for Loretta. Looks like that ship still has a chance to sail.

Dole is a master strategist and he knows Claire well. Even if Rae didn’t tell him, he would know Claire has a growing interest in anything to do with Rae. He likely acted the way he did on the trip to Euclid to intentionally make Claire feel she couldn’t stay in their summer home, and make spending the night with the Taylor’s seem all the more appealing. An underhanded and effective way for Claire to get first-hand experience on what life as a commoner is really like.

One thing the original novels didn’t touch on was what Rae Taylor was like before she met Claire. I know the manga has been exploring what BC Rae was like. My impression is she was a lot like the Pope, Clarice. A very stark contrast to how the present Rae acts, it’s no wonder the minions were so confused. It is a wonder why Misha never questioned it sooner.

I feel like this whole chapter was more for Loretta and Pepi’s development. There wasn’t much going on on Claire’s part we weren’t already aware of.

One of the more interesting developments is Pepi being tutored by Misha on using siren magic. There is no way they are proposing the idea of using a magical instrument to boost Pepi’s magic without following through. Considering the potential consequences, Pepi is not likely to use it unless Loretta is in imminent danger, and the only major conflict left is the revolution, so that’s concerning.

There were hints of it earlier, but now it is confirmed we have a human trafficking conspiracy, and of course poor Catherine’s family is in the centre of it. It doesn’t even seem like they are trying too hard to hide it so it’s only a matter of time before their house of cards crumbles. The only problem with that is just like with what happened to the Aurousseau’s, typically in this world the whole family is punished for the same crimes regardless of their involvement. If Claire were to decide to take matters into her own hands, that a-hole, Clément wouldn’t hesitate to use Catherine as a human shield, figuratively and literally.

Enter everyone’s third favourite character, who apparently can never catch a break, Lily.

And now we’ve found out that Pepi’s father is part of the aforementioned conspiracy. Which means now I have to worry about her AND Catherine, AND Loretta since her fiance that her family set her up with is also in the thick of this mess. As much as Pepi is worried about her father, I say he should go to hell with the rest of them. Pepi should worry more about herself (and her future wife).

Wait, wait, wait. If even Catherine, who is viewed as less than a pawn by her family, knows about Yu, how well kept is this secret? Could Yu’s potential reign have been any more compromised? If the royal family wasn’t already screwed by Dole’s schemes, what Rae did would have been considered a huge favour to them.

As Catherine rightly points out, Claire has yet to make her own confession, which is a huge part of why her relationship with Rae is stalling.

Hold on, did we ever establish before if Lily’s alter ego had a name? Okay, I just checked and in Lambert’s part in the previous volume, he did refer to the nasked stranger as Alter. It’s been a year since I read that and the name doesn’t appear anywhere else so I’m not surprised I forgot.

I would not be surprised if Salas was using the Achard’s human trafficking operation for his supply of test subjects. Bastard was doing all sorts of human experimentation, so he had to get his victims somehow.

It took me a moment to realise where Misha’s train of thought was going, but I will grant her it makes a lot of sense for what little she knows. I actually wouldn’t have held it against her if she turned Rae in. Rae might not have either. Claire definitely would have, though.

One thing I’m glad they addressed even if it didn’t occur to me, how does Rae cast antidote magic without a wand? She’s in prison, she shouldn’t have a wand, but apparently Dole pulled some strings on the sly. Anything for his partner-in-crime/future daughter-in-law.

As for the Misaki vision, since I finished the series, I’ve actually suspected that was TAIM’s doing, since she’s pulled similar stunts before.

And as soon as Claire returns from visiting Rae, she immediately wants to declare war on Queen Riche. Which I’d be down with. That bitch got a better ending than she deserved.

Volume 3 will probably be the last. Will Pepi and Loretta get together? Will Catherine finally be freed from her family of criminals? Will the Achard’s finally get their comeuppance? And what the hell was Claire up to during the whole revolution chapter since she ditched Rae?

(sorry if this ask is a little long, I'm having a total 'tism moment rn) Your issue with the all book tie-ins is fair, tbh. I only know about the Mimic via the wikipedia and word of mouth; due to the whole Scott Cawthon Donating Fiasco, I didn't feel comfortable directly accessing/purchasing FNaF stuff (if that makes sense), so as a result I resorted to watching playthroughs and reading up on on the wikipedia.

As a result, I can understand some people being confused about this stuff. Is the mimic a really cool idea? Sure, yeah, but everyone should be able to know about it.

I was thinking a little bit more about the Elevator Ending, and I think... if that is the actual canon ending, there's a very low chance Cassie died. It just doesn't make sense narrative wise- she's such a good character (seriously, I love her, her genuine concern (most of) the animatronics and Gregory, mixed with her funny quips and good VA, makes her a great sort of parallel to Gregory), to kill her off so quickly just feels... wrong.

I'm also... very intrigued about Gregory... And the fact he and, presumably Freddy and Vanessa, do not want to be found/are on the run. While at first, it was a little jarring for him to just. throw Cassie under the bus... I hate to say this, but imo, it feels... kinda in character. He wrecked the rest of the Glamrock Animatronics, and, iirc, in one ending of SB, he indirectly kills Vanny. So... was it a jerk move to do that to Cassie? Of course. Was it in-character?... Kind of? I guess? It can be debatable.

Anyways, I can't wait to see what else is dug up in the DLC. And I do hope we get more answers.

my problem with the mimic is. he just doesn't make sense. and it takes ALOT away from vanny, who i thought would be the main antagonist from here onwards (and i can't imagine how dissapointed vannessa fans are right now). i just can't wrap my head around the mimic or any of the science fiction stuff- and i admit i'm with the crowd missing when FNAF was a simple horror game with ghosts and murders, even moreso now that RUIN's decided to go the route of being a jumble of sci-fi that explains nothing about the story at all

i do agree with the elevator ending and gregory points though! cassie is a brilliant character and i doubt she's dead, and the elevator ending was actually pretty damn cool! the visuals were great and gregory's sudden heel-turn betrayal was super interesting and shocking!

my only wish with RUIN from this point onwards is that it. explains everything in detail and that it utilizes eclipse because goddamnit they did not just introduce him only to never use him he's such a good character im still SO mad that he only got 5 minutes. again.

i'm super excited to see what else is dug up too and i'm hopeful that we'll get answers!!

So I’m thinking abt watching the new td season. I’m prob gonna split it into chunks bc it’ll be my reactions to all the episodes plus pre & post thoughts of the season, so if you wanna know my thoughts, just go to the 'total drama revival episode rambles' tag

Firstly, let’s start off with some pre-watching thoughts. These are just bullet points based on the trailers and promo pics I’ve seen. (I’ve only seen part of one trailer—I forgot which one—and some of the promo pics.)

I know most of the major details of the season bc of spoilers but I’ll try to pretend like I don’t lmao though there might be some occasions when I reference smth—I’ll put those in brackets ( [ ] ).

Now onto my thoughts!!

PRE-WATCHING THE TD SEASON:

PRIYAAA!!! [ A lot of ppl on here initially brushed her off as the Nice Girl, but I was with her from the frigging start and wanted her to go far in the season! ] As a desi female, I was so so happy to see desi rep AND her name is Priya!! It’s so pretty and ties into cultural heritage, and fgdgdgdgd I’d already hc her as bi fyi (yeah it could be me projecting on her, that’s okay. That’s f i n e. She seems like such a bisexual though)

Axel should be a lesbian. It’s what she deserves

Tbh I never rlly vibed with Ripper. Sure he seemed cool and ppl kept calling him the ‘nowen child’ but he’s pretty meh to me
