You're never really... here. Always a bit dazed with a faraway look in your eye, yet an alertness to you that means it can't just be disassociation or anything like that.

They see you talking to the mirror a lot, or if not, looking into alleys like you're supposed to be seeing something other than the knocked over bins and occasional stray. Even at the lake in the forest, you're crouched at the edge of it as water licks at your shoes. Sometimes, the shadows seem to warp around you or maybe, your eyes are just a bit too wide to be normal. Something about the way your knuckles jut out too far or even the way that your lip movements don't completely match up with what you're saying.

Sometimes they see you wandering around the street, like a puppet. Clumsy and artificial. If anyone did see your face in those times they'd comment on the vibrant, unnatural blue of your eyes. Or how your skin seems to lose any warmth in its undertones, or maybe the way that you hum to yourself- pressing a hand to your chest and holding onto your pyjama shirt.

Robin

They're incredibly concerned that they hadn't noticed before they woke up to seeing you climb out of your window???

Even when you disappear and only appear after a whole day- looking even more out of it than usual and covered in water and some... other sort of substance that Robin just doesn't want to think too hard about

They just assume that's another weird thing you do along with the... everything else.

Look they had reason to believe it's just normal 'you' behaviour okay!

They check on you each blood moon from then on, even offering for you to stay in their room at the end of each month.

If they see you trying to leave out of the window again they may panic and grab you- looking at your face and being chilled by your hollow expression, a smile that makes them uneasy crawling up your face as a voice that's not yours repeats their name

'You' slip out of their grasp before they can react- disappearing behind the windowsill. They probably almost scream before seeing you're fine at the bottom.

They can't help you before you're gone, you'll probably return in the morning anyway.

This bitch ass motherfucker was probably skulking around the alleyways when they saw you staggering towards Nightingale street

They popped up behind you and grabbed your shoulders- hoping to make you squeal.

You didn't.

Simply continued walking.

Whitney just shrugged it off after a second of sulking, adding it to their internal list of your oddities (No they don't think of you often shut up)

They keep following you, teasing, mocking, sexual innuendos- you name it.

They pause when they see you take a beeline into the forest because what the fuck? No one except for tourists and people with a death wish go there (especially on a blood moon)

They're not superstitious per se but everyone and their fucking grandmother knows that what you're doing is a bad idea.

They grab your elbow and finally get a good look at your face, blank expression with unfocused blue eyes that look out of place on you.

For a moment they think they've been following the wrong person around. But that's impossible because they know what their slut looks like!

They open their mouth, probably to insult you or make a comment but nothing comes out when you start repeating their name with a manic grin.

They stumble when you wrench away, breaking into a sprint into the underbrush.

They go to follow you but you're already gone.

Sydney

They instinctively know something's wrong when they wake up to you shambling out of the temple's pews

They know you're strange, that something's wrong with you on a good day! But this is a whole new level.

Even as goosebumps raise on the nape of their neck, something about you seems familiar. A lingering sense of deja vu keeping them from moving.

They manage to stand up after a minute, limbs feeling heavier with each step they make towards you. Even if they tried, they wouldn't be able to sleep now. The air is stifling and wrong.

You shriek when their necklace brushes your skin as they lean closer, it leaves a torrefied blue mark where it made contact.

Yeah no. That is not normal.

Even without their necklace scalding you, your scream leaves their ears ringing and their head pounding with agony. They can't hear themself over the sound of their heartbeat, bile rises in their throat and they can't process anything but the feeling of hands so cold they burn and the image of cobalt that sears itself into their mind no matter where they look or how hard they squeeze their eyes closed.

They must have been making some kind of noise though, because when they come to- they're kneeling on the floor in between pews with Jordan's hands on their shoulders and you're nowhere to be seen.

They were already following you as soon as they realised that you seemed even more off than usual

Somewhat similar to their parents before they became... whatever they are now.

They don't want you to end up like that! So they fight their body's urge to flee and appear at your elbow- you don't flinch, as per usual.

They hope their presence soothes you, it doesn't. You don't look as bad as they were imagining but their skin is becoming clammy just by being around you. And not in the normal way either!

They start to blabber to you, hoping to get your attention but you don't even spare them a glance! Now you're starting to freak them out.

They try to look at you properly, closer. They don't like what they see.

Blue eyes fixed in front of you, pallid cheeks, blue lips. Your eyes flick down for less than a second before a grin curls onto your lips and you grab them, calling their name

They love it when you say their name but not like that! Not when your voice echoes in their ears and makes their mouth go dry.

As much as their nails dig into your arms and they grasp as hard as they can, you manage to slip away- like their hands just... phased through somehow.

As much as they want to- need to chase you, their feet are rooted to the floor like something's holding them there. They can't do anything but watch as you depart into the forest.

They know that something was wrong! You wouldn't run away from them right? Yeah! That must be it! Something's taken control of you somehow!

They're not sure which idea makes their stomach churn more.

thought it was obvious? xdd but yeah, thats my main OTP, i still believe in my "joanpher canon, joanabe endgame" motto (cause i do enjoy joanabe) but thats just me adhering to canon as much as possible, i can feel it in my bones the final scene on the definitive last episode of clone high, Joan and Abe kiss on screen confirming their relationship but not elaborating further cause the show literally ended lol. that'd be epic.

what i WILL say, is aside from some characters i'm debating on ponifying, there's a list of characters i think don't need to be ponified and would fit just fine in the ponyverse.

that list is:

the reason i don't see the point in ponifying these guys is because they're already VERY inhuman. and because of that, if you put them in a horse world, they wouldn't really stand out. we have a shitload of weirdos in the pony world as it is that aren't equines of any sort, like casper from the movie. y'know, the cat. and whatever other creatures in there i don't wanna list all of them

The line gets a bit blurry with Slasher - technically it's just a role the player may get but I think each Slasher could be considered a character of sorts if you look at them right. (GOD the images of them on Google Images are crusty. They look way more ominous when the map is dark. And they're fucking amazing to play as.)

Alter is a really cool character and a great antagonist in DST. I still side with the Nightmare Creatures / Charlie, because they look cooler than the Brightmares, but Alter is cooler as a leader. Big fuckign eye on the moon basically

ok since i am full of love. i am going to pick Several of the bests.

BEST MC MOBS:

cat- THEIR CUTE LITTLE NOISES ?? TEY FOLOOW U AROUND AND LOOK AT U? BRING U THINGS?? PURR ANS SLEEP WITH U?? IMPERVIOUS TO FALL DAMAGE??? i have literally sat AFK in a room full of mc cats for HOURS to just chill with them (my irl cats usually gravitate towards the meowing also). 12/10 mob experience

shulker- (shulker noises) WHAT ANGRY LITTLE FUCKED UP CLAMS!!! LOVE THAT FOR THEM

Villagers- these mobs are very practical and can be very amusing :) i enjoy keeping enough of them to lag myself to ashes

endermite- this is probably my favorite hostile mob. theyre INCREDIBLY funny to me. theyre like a small angry dog. really, who do they think they are? a lil Guy? a small tiny Man? who hisses and bites and does nothing? i am ENAMOURED. i spawn these for entertainment purposes when i have spare pearls.

creeper- these utterly strange creatures are so impressive because of how far into lategame they can strike pure terror into a player's heart. i commend them for this ability!

piglins- theyre just SO maddeningly interesting! what tragic implications of these sweet, floppy-eared guys! adore them!

wither skeletons- haha tall (points and laughs). they are also really cool!

ok now for the worst mob!!

ok i am still indecisive turns out. so! husks, witches, phantoms, and cave spiders fuckign suck. i must not be a fan of poison damage. also endermen can be annoying and zoglins make me so sad :( [i just want a bigole pet piggy not some sort of tormented creature D:]

thinking about a full and properly modded server with all the members of the dream smp, with like mo creatures, mr crayfish, bibliocraft, biomes o’ plenty, decocraft, CIT resource packs, THE DOG ONE THAT STACYPLAYS USED IN DOGCRAFT and the ones that add all different types of foods like pies and sandwiches and soups and all that fun stuff!!

and it’s a mostly “normal” server, in which there are no tyrranical governments or roleplay nearly as angsty as the dream smp. i’m basically thinking origins smp but softer, with more roleplay, and billions of mods that used to be popular back in the shadowcraft and dogcraft days. it would be more of a “found family of people that all left their previous homes for various reasons that they slowly get into detail with as they become closer to the others and they all develop a big family dynamic, but there’s occasional conflict since they can never get along for long periods of time.” 

i’m sorry just iMagine all the possibilities???

 tubbo would own ALL the animals like he’d just run a huge fucking zoo and live with all the animals hes tamed and he’d have like 80 dogs and all the bees on the server. not to mention his house would be absolutely DECKED with cute decor stuff. he’d have a huge portal hub for all the different dimensions that would be added to the game. he’d probably dabble in some witchcraft mods too with ranboo!!

wilbur would take mass advantage of bibliocraft and fulfil his dark academiac dreams by living in a nice tudor home in a plains biome with a gigantic library and a pond out back with fairy lights and some wheat fields. but underground he would have a gigantic lair where he grows sketchy plants he gets from tubbo that’re from other dimensions, and he makes  potions and also collects various crystals and rare ores to sell illegally to other people. 

niki and hannah would build a cottagecore village together with lots of eucalyptus and wisteria logs!! they’d do a lot of exploring to find all the cool biomes so they could collect all the flowers, crops, and trees possible. they would probably have a green house shop at spawn, as well as a cafe/bakery. despite their soft aesthetic, they would actually be two of the richest people on the server, and no one would fuck with them since they had some of the best modded armor and weapons from all of their travelling. 

puffy would really like oceancraft, and also spend a lot of time travelling. she often bunked with niki and hannah, and occasionally with bad and skeppy in their own area. she just hung around spawn mostly and had a simple ocean monument inspired house on the shore, so she could access the sea easily for her distant travels. she would also love getting into the weirder parts of the mods, like the shape shifter mods and would have a massive collection of all the inverntory pets. 

dream, george, and sapnap would band together and make a huge underground lair inside of a mountain that they put no effort into making pretty, but somehow doesn’t look like shit? sapnap would have a room dedicated to all the armor sets he set out to forge, and would have great pride in them. george would like indulging in the food aspects, like harvestcraft and mo’ foods. dream would try dabbling in the prank/security mods and have minor success, aside from the few holes he blew into the mountain and sets of armor he accidentally blew up which sapnap would never let him live down. he’d also probably do a lot of collecting and make various mob farms to get lots of cool loot to sell in spawn. 

tommy would also collect lots of cool stuff, except he wouldn’t actually go out and find the materials for armor, fight mobs, or explore caves, no he would steal it. he commissioned sam to build a gigantic, overly complex and fancy house insisting it has as much detail as possible (im talking chisel mod, carpenters blocks, decocraft, mr crayfish ALL OF IT) but he never actually stays in it bc he prefers the stupid dirt mound he lived in on the first night (mainly bc he doesn’t feel like moving all of his stuff from said dirt mound into his giant mega-mansion and sam refused to do it, no matter how much money tommy offered him). he’d also wreak havoc, yk, stealing and hiding pets, burning houses, destroying crops, setting elaborate traps that don’t work but are just annoying to clean up. despite being chaos incarnate, he’d probably have a big farm and make cool foods and have a bed and breakfast at spawn. 

fundy, sam, ranboo and tubbo would all really like diving into the red stone packs (obvi) like industrialcraft and all those prank/trap mods. they would start up a business to make elaborate redstone machines for people, and would have some of the coolest houses on the smp. they’d live in a huge treehouse colony in a jungle, and they’d have elevators and secret doors and a hidden vault underground. it would look amazing, and they would spend hours working on it, and it ends up being the prettiest build on the server.

ranboo, much like tubbo, wouldn’t live just in the jungle colony. he would also have his own base a couple hundred blocks from tubbo. it wouldn’t be super big or fancy, but he would decorate his house really nicely, and probably base some of the interiors off of other video games or something. he would collect lots of cats and dogs as to all keep him company in his house. he’d have some OP armor and tools, but be really humble about it? he’d like collecting the mob backpacks and have them all on display in his house in the woods. 

bad and skeppy would live in a mesa where they would have a massive modern base where they test airplanes and helicopters n cars n shit. bad would def try to collect a bunch of animals, especially dogs (they would all be named after members of the smp based off of the vibes they give him). skeppy would be one of the richest  bc he keeps all of his rare/expensive items in a hidden vault literally hundreds of thousands of blocks from his base. skeppy would definetly take advantage of the extra blocks and supplies for trolling. 

ant would obviously collect cats, like the ones that you can pick up and they like wrap around your neck? and they have those adorable cat beds and smack you when they’re hungry? yeah he’d have a whole fucking army of them and whenever they’re hungry he’d just unleash them on anyone nearby just to piss them off. he wouldn’t have actually wanted the cats at first, since he thought it was just ironic and lame, but after he tamed his first one he just liked the company. he would build a whole separate house for his cats so that they could stay away from the workspace in his house where he would look into dinosaurs with jurassicraft. 

connor would be a wandering vagabond who collects those cool mob backpacks and keeps all of his stuff inside of them and never settles down because he doesn’t have the money to commission someone to build a house and he’s just too fuckign lazy to build one himself lmaoo he’d end up rooming with tubbo for a while, just because he has multiple homes and has plenty of room spare.

schlatt would elect himself as leader (but not in a dream smp kinda way) he’d tax everyone and use the money to commission like forty vacation homes that he never lives in because he’s never active. he also likes to just fuck around and annoy people by breaking all the windows in their houses and stealing their doors, but no one can do anything about it bc he’s technically they’re leader and he probably somehow got access to creative mode. he definitely abuses his power, but not to a concerning extent. he’d just boost the price to buy land in the shopping district by ten diamonds every month and piss everyone off.

alright fuck it i need to vent abt this spn shit so DNT READ THIS IF U HAVENT SEEN THE NEW SPN EPISODE AND DONT WANT MAJOR SPOILERS. also discusses canon x canon ship stuff so pls b wary. this is very long. i needed to rant. 

ALRIGHT FIRST OF ALL WHAT THE FUCK!!! first of all. i fucking miss cas already. i love him so fucking much im so upset, i cant believe hes... gone??? just like that???? they just. they just killed him. castiel has been part of the heart of this show since season 4 and now they throw him out before the finale for NO GD REASON??? i understand that the show is abt the brothers. but god damn, it’s about family as  a WHOLE. and before u say  cas wasnt family, YES HE FUCKIGN WAS DSKJFHGJ like bitch!!!! a main theme of the show is found family and finding where u fit in despite what your blood family thinks!!! family dont end in blood is literally one of the biggest quotes from the show. cas was a winchester. cas was family. 

AND GODDD THE FUCKIN KILL THE GAYS TROPE IM SO PISSEDKSJFHG. not to mention the fact that they canonically killed TWO lgbt characters in this episode. charlie’s girlfriend AND castiel BOTH got killed in ONE EP. theyve baited cas’s love for dean since season 4 and theyve joked around and hinted at it and mentioned destiel in canon constantly and then. in cas’s LAST moments. THATS when they decide to have him tell dean he loves him???? thats it???

NOT TO MENTION!! in case anyone wasnt aware of whats going on in canon rn, ill explain the shit that pisses me off most. so, basically, back in season 12, cas died. when angels die, they go to a place called the empty, where they just sleep for eternity. they arent coherent. just asleep in the void. but cas has an adoptive kid of sorts, named jack. hes a hybrid of an angel and a human, his dad is lucifer, and hes the most powerful creature on earth basically. he had the power to wake cas up while he was in the empty so the empty (which manifests as its own being) was pretty pissed that cas was awake. so the empty now had a target on cas’s head, especially when he fully came back to life by basically annoying the empty into submission.

but then later, jack dies. so in order to bring jack back, castiel made a deal with the empty. basically, jack could live, so long as castiel agrees to go back to the empty once he’s truly happy. basically, he has to stay miserable or he dies. i think u can see where this is going.

so. when cas made his speech. when he was professing his love for dean and coming out of the closet basically, he was finally happy, bc he was free of that secret. he was able to be true to himself, and after that, he walks off to his death. he LITERALLY dies because he was gay for the hunter man. being gay killed him and im SO MAD. 

one thing i will say tho, is that everyone is kinda taking the empty the wrong way. the empty is not super hell. it’s not hell elite. cas is not going to burn for all eternity. the empty was created so that angels can rest for the rest of eternity once they die. he wont be suffering, but he wont be feeling... anything. it’s kinda like ceasing to exist. the empty likes things to be quiet, so when it takes cas back, it’s gonna want him to be asleep, so i dont see it messing with him anytime soon. not to fear, the gay angel is not burning for all eternity for gay crimes. hes just being killed for them. :)

OHHHHHHH OKAY WAIT I ALSO WANNA TALK ABT. OKAY. I UNDERSTAND THE POINT OF KILLING SO MANY CHARACTERS. I GET IT. like. it makes a point. killing charlie’s girlfriend, killing sam’s girlfriend, then killing cas... who just told dean he loves him... i get it. youre giving parallels that tell us that cas is dean’s love interest. but holy SHIT you couldve owned the homophobes in a MUCH better way than that. just like. have cas say hes IN love with dean instead of that he loves him. thats gay. u dont have to create a gay character to kill and then kill of the deaf, kickass girlfriend of one of the main characters that has been through enough loss in his love life already. killing fan favorites to make a point like that aint cool. and eileen already deserved so much more than she was getting. she’s only been mentioned offhandedly when sam disappears so they can say hes on a date or smthn like that (which is very cute and im v glad hes so in love with his girlfriend but. come on. shes not just a love interest). shes always been such a strong character and shes such a big inspiration for a lot of girls, especially deaf girls, and they just. killed her off bc she was a love interest.

the blatant disrespect for female characters on this show is exceedingly ridiculous and it pisses me off. i know im supposed to b the resident spn stan but holy shit they do things SO SO SO WRONG. eileen leahy is a strong, badass woman that kicks monster ass and she deserves so much better than what theyre giving her. i love seeing sam happy and in love, obviously i do, but dammit i also love seeing eileen being able to be her own person and her own character outside of her relationship with sam. i dont care what kind of point youre trying to make about love interests. killing a main character like THAT is hella disrespectful and if eileen isnt okay after all this im suing all of vancouver

i wnana talk about some of my favorite touhou moments i really love pcb stage 4 how you start in the dark and as the music crescendos you rise higher in the sky and above the clouds and suddenly stops once you reach the gate to the netherworld its so so good adn the chase in imperishable night stage 4 is so AWESOME and wily beast and weakest creature has 2 momments i really fucking like in stage 5 the boss music starts exactly as it’s revealed the player is being possessed by teh animal spirit so the theme is more for you than it is for mayumi and thats really fucking cool i also love love looooove keiki’s fight i think it might be the only touhou boss that the player has actually tried to Run from and the background change shows that she’s forcing you out of the primate garden its so cool. i also really like in hsifs durign okina’s fight the background changes to scenery of the season she attacks you with and in subterranean animism extra stage i. this is so specific but i fuckign love the part right when you kill sanae and the music reaches its highest point and then you have to kill a bunch of fairies going really quickly in a circle it feels really good and i think it is epic and i love how in lolk stage 5 is really chaotic and loud and then stage 6 is just quiet with barely any enemies to kill its a really good contrast also i do not even have to mention ufo stage 6 the entirety of ufo stage 6 is the crowning jewel of touhou for me like oh my god also i really really really really really love double dealing character stage 5 the music goes REALLY good with the rotating backgorund its so cool also once i killed seija just as she flipped the screen upside down so the screen flipped twice as i finished the fight and it was cool

📃 - OK SO. without like, spoiling too many plot points, our main character is cara and she lives with her grandmother. her mom is dead and dad is out of the picture. one day theyre getting chased by these people that her grandma knows and cara gets thrown into an alternate realm full of fantasy creatures using her grandmothers amulet. she meets a unicorn named lightfoot and a bunch of other rad people and basically, starts a journey to save that world from the Hunters. the Hunters are an organisation who specifically hate unicorns and want them all dead, led by Beloved, and cara and her friends have to try and stop them from entering the world and wiping them out. its sooo so so good and i highly recommend it cause i have no one to talk to about it please god

✨ - oh boy uh, well. im just gonna like list them out lmao

unicorn chronicles: i loved unicorns as a kid and read it when i was in elementary school, and over the years its remained just as compelling and well written as i remember and like. god the whole concept is so godamn cool and all the subplots that get introduced are fuckign fantastic and like all the different creatures are amazing i literally cant sing its praises enough

howls moving castle: must i have a logical reason? is it not to vicariously live my fantasy of running away to the countryside with a wizard boyfriend, his demon and his apprentice?? for real though, its such a fantastic story with beautiful visuals in the movie and wonderfully compelling prose in the book, and esp in the movie the whole time travel subplot with sophie seeing howl and calcifer in the past and then howl finding her in the future makes me go feral

penumbra: gays in space. need i say more? im a huge slut for gay found family and especially in futuristic space, and im a huge big fan of the lgbt utopia its created. like yeah capitalism sucks but at least im not gonne get misgendered in space starbucks, u kno? all the writing and dialogue is so incredible and the SOUND DESIGN GOD, alex i know u specifically can relate when i say i would kill a man for sophie and her incredible sound design skills, like dude the dance scene in man in glass p2 you can hear every single individual step they take and every swish of junos dress and i jusT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god its so good, plus the whole the characters help me work through my trauma and repressed anger haha

911: this one is entirely your fault. so obligatory horny on main everyone on that show is so hot i want oliver stark to cradle me gently in his beefy arms oh my god. other than Men, the way it drives home the whole ‘you can’t save everyone, and it will kill you to try, so just focus on what you can do and keep living’ makes me so emo. the way it tackles big bureaucratic issues as well as closer to home interpersonal ones is amazing and i love how it shows people going through and dealing realistically with trauma.

treasure planet: again, who doesnt want to live in Cool Steampunk Space Travel Future? i really really love jims story and his arc, the way he deals with his trauma is uhh very familiar lol and his relationship with silver is like the ideal. the story is just the coolest concept and i love all the wonderful character design and animation, plus the soundtrack SLAPS and everything is beautiful

legend of zelda: ive been associated with this series from a very young age due to my name and as soon as i gave into my fate and looked it up for real i just kinda fell into it lol. i cant really tell you exactly what draws me to it besides ‘wow fun game!’ and ‘god i wish that were me,’ but like the absurd amount of detail thats put into each installment and the creative ways they retell essentially the same/similar story over and over is incredible

guardians of gahoole: so i had the same experience with this and treasure planet which is i remembered ‘oh hey this is a movie that exists and i cant clearly remember watching it, ill look it up :)’ and then it consumed my life for a solid 3 months. firstly this movie is absolutely gorgeous, the animation and framing is fucking stunning and the way they handled owls talking like people as far as the movement of their very inflexible beaks was amazing. it sort of has the same draw for me as warrior cats? secret animal society ft incredibly traumatic experiences and the characters dealing with it. like, the whole concept is just so fuckign wild and it works so well, i rly enjoy this niche genre.

💎 - alright trivia time, so guardians of gahoole is based on a book series and the movie only covers part of the first arc i think idk, BUT theres another series set in the same universe called wolves of the beyond that i devoured when i was younger! i didnt know they were connected for the longest time and when i found out i was :000, i still rly love wolves of the beyond and wanna reread it, as well as read the actual gahoole books. in the howls books, sophie is a redhead! also, markl is named michael and like a fully functioning young adult who ends up marrying one of sophies sisters. treasure planet is, obviously, based off treasure island but its so much better than the book dont bother reading it lol i tried and it was boring. there was plans for a treasure planet sequel that was fully scripted and cast but it was cancelled cause disney sabotaged treasure planet from the start with the shitty release and advertising and tldr we were ROBBED, also amelias concept was much more octopus like and while that wldve been rad im p glad she was switched to a cat for. several reasons lol. uhh i dont have a lot of Fun Facts abt the unicorn chronicles but for the longest time i thought there were only 3 books and then last year i found the fourth book by chance in a kitsch store and nearly had a breakdown i was so happy, like full on i started shaking and crying cause there was so much joy in my body i cldnt contain it.
