â§âË⧠â[ silly block game ]â
ft. lucy pevensie, edmund pevensie, susan pevensie, peter pevensie (seperate) x gn! reader â the chronicles of narnia
â°â⧠playing minecraft with the pevensie siblingsâ1.5k words
setting: modern au, no mentions of narnia contains: fluff & crack, modern alternate universe, they are children in the image but ages are unspecified (so it could be romantic or platonic), mentions of in-game player & pet deaths,
⤠author's note: i had a dream that peter died in my arms while we were playing minecraft and decided to write cute headcanons when i woke up like a loser
âââ .°Ë⧠lucy pevensie Ëâ âš
â°â⧠favorite biome - cherry grove, favorite mob - frogs, favorite flower - lily of the valley, favorite wood - birch, favorite block - moss
â°â⧠she takes her time when it comes to completing the game and may take forever to get to the end dimension, prefering to play on peaceful mode so that she can focus on exploring and creating with keep inventory on since she doesnât want to stress out about playing, enjoying everything it has to offer and will continuously pause on making progress to admire the scenery (but sometimes she turns it on easy mode to give her a little challenge when caving). oddly enough, even if the difficulty was on hard mode, she never seems to encounter any hostile mobs and they all decide to attack you instead while mining. itâs not an uncommon occurrence for her to tell you that she found her eighth patch of diamonds only for you to scream in response because you found a zombie spawner. sheâll manage to make it out of a pillager outpost without losing so much as half a heart while youâre looking like a pincushion, how does she do it?
â°â⧠more of a farmer player who is mesmerized by all the different types of flowers and will have a goal of harvesting all of them to make colorful fields that stretch on for longer than your render distance will allow you to see. sheâs most excited about updates that have new plants, wood types, and animals, keeping pets of all kinds even if they arenât meant to be domesticated! her base is practically a zoo and is always full of life just like she is, yet it still naturally blends in with the area so well that it seems naturally generated at first glance. on a creepier note, the more hidden areas might have a skull or two placed to fit an overgrown and abandoned aesthetic, but at least itâs pretty with all of the spore blossoms!
â°â⧠lucy hates villager trading farms with a passion, finding them too inhumane despite the fact that the villagers are npcs without sentience of any sort. it breaks her heart to see them in such cramped living conditions whose only purpose is for trade, so sheâll work on freeing them while youâre offline. sheâll spend hours upon hours gathering materials in secret to build a nicer village than the one they formally resided in before dismantling your system, with a good amount of iron golems to protect them from hostile mobs since she didnât want to restrict them by building a fence or walls. (donât worry, all of them are named and sheâs kept a book on all of their trades so that you can keep track! the hard part is only tracking them down, but the big village is a thousand times better than the ugly trading hall you had before).
âââ .°Ë⧠edmund pevensie Ëâ âš
â°â⧠favorite biome - ice spikes, favorite mob - horses, favorite flower - torchflower, favorite wood - dark oak, favorite block - prismarine
â°â⧠he enjoys speedrunning, the only thing standing between him and being on the leaderboard is minor slip-ups that cost the entire game. he tends to get too cocky, especially once heâs gathered all he needed from the nether fortress and prematurely celebrates before a blaze knocks him off the edge, so you bet that youâre going to hear him come up with the most creative insults you would ever hear over the discord call (not including swears because he will be scolded for his language by someone in his house). his best record of beating the game is around forty minutes, nothing to gawk at, but something that heâs very proud of after all of his practice.
â°â⧠if itâs not a world dedicated to that, where he doesnât need to build a base, then heâll place down all of the essentials and call it a day without a roof over his head. itâs not like he can actually get wet from the rain or sunburn from the sun, so he doesnât bother and just lives like that until you persuade him to at least dig out a hole in a mountain to keep away from night-time mobs and expand whenever needed. his scattered chests are a mess, by the way, you canât find anything while he just spam clicks and glazes over the screen to find something in his strange little system. he insists that he knows where everything is and that organization isnât needed.
â°â⧠also a total prankster, but will never blow up builds or destroy anything of yours because he knows how much time you put into it for a minute of amusement. he likes watching where you log out and trapping you in that spot with obsidian, something that you can easily get out of with a pick but is still annoying enough for him to get a kick out of it. once he wasnât sure where the exact spot was, so he spent an entire real-life night meticulously encasing the area in glass and then flooding every block of air with water. he wondered multiple times if the effort was worth it in the process, but he cried tears of laughter when you couldnât get out at all since you drowned before you could break the glass and then swim out. it was an endless cycle of âdied by drowningâ until you offered him a chest of iron blocks for your freedom.
âââ .°Ë⧠susan pevensie Ëâ âš
â°â⧠favorite biome - mountains, favorite mob - foxes, favorite flower - rose bushes, favorite wood - mangrove, favorite block - quartz
â°â⧠has mixed feelings on redstone, something that makes so much yet so little sense. itâs something that she likes to think that she mastered quickly, but you can always hear her muttering under her breath about how an entire contraption broke because of something dumb like the repeater being a tick off. she always covers up these machines with big, elaborate builds in a unique gothic style that youâve only seen from herâ although most of these builds are hollow since she doesnât know how to design the interior, leaving entire towns empty until she lets you fill them up with various shops and villagers to make it feel more lived-in.
â°â⧠refuses to throw anything away and maybe has a bit of a hoarding tendency, you cannot convince her to toss so much as a rotten potato into the lava because she âmight need it in the futureâ even though itâs the most worthless item in the game. her storage system is immense and conscientiously organized with item frames and color signs while practically overflowing, but she has copious amounts of everything and is very generous when it comes to sharing as long as you ask beforehand! (as a result, her least favorite mobs are creepers because she needs to sort out the damaged chests before everything disappears, a complete nightmare)
â°â⧠has god-like accuracy with any projectiles and has mending on her bow because she hates how expensive it is to get a new one with maxed-out enchantments and argues about how itâs so much better than infinity once she made the switch. you need an inventory slot with at least one arrow anyway, so why canât you just have the full stack when you can always pick up more by killing skeletons? it may be a bit pretentious of her, but she might mock you that you just have a skill issue when she sees you being a bad shot before giving you some tips on how to improve.
âââ .°Ë⧠peter pevensie Ëâ âš
â°â⧠favorite biome - fields, favorite mob - dogs/wolves, favorite flower - oxeye daisy, favorite wood - spruce, favorite block - diamond ore
â°â⧠from âthe skyâs the limitâ to âwhatever floats your goat,â the game isnât done until heâs gotten all of the achievements no matter how stupid they may be! heâs pretty serious about completing, but once heâs finished, you can see him start goofing off and being more ridiculous. unlike his brother who plays the pranks, he tends to be the victim of them and canât get revenge at all because his traps are a bit obvious (lucy always helps him out in that department). on the other hand, heâs great at pvp and fighting mobs, best with a sword, and likes to start raids to fight for fun with the âhero of the villageâ effect being a massive ego boost as well.
â°â⧠his builds are pretty boring and cramped since he never upgrades it as needed, his house is really just a box made out of planks from the surrounding area. he didnât think that you could create anything pleasing to the eye in a game where everything is made from cubes, so youâll need to open his eyes to the fact that he can construct whatever he wants and how the only limit is his creativity. he wonât advance any further than using two different types of woods and including cobblestone, it simply isnât his strong suit and he would much rather spend his time exploring and slaying his enemies instead.
â°â⧠he has so many dogs, itâs not even funny, you need to turn down the volume for passive mobs whenever youâre at his base because they are barking nonstop. itâs not intentional either, he just somehow constantly forgets that feeding them makes them breed and canât ever resist not giving them some steak when they tilt their heads at him. he gave up on naming all of them since he didnât have enough tags and dying all of their collars after building a separate home for them, but the original ones that he tamed in the wild remain in his bedroom. despite the number of dogs, he refuses to take any of them on adventures with them because he will cry when unnamed number two hundred-something dies after sniffing lava and holds a funeral with a proper burial place.

I'm going to imagine a better Minecraft movie because I know the real one will be even shittier than my freestyle faux summery.
(also it's animated obviously)
Part 1:
A person (Steve) (he's brown btw) wakes up in the forest with no memories.
He wanders for a while, confused
He enters a roofed forest as the sun begins to set
There's someone in the distance, Steve approaches
The person is a zombie, which turns around and chases Steve
He runs into a small crevice, and seals it with dirt
He sees some monsters through a one block gap as he waits out the night (optional encounter with a spider here)
The next day he wanders into an open field, and sees buildings in the distance
He notices moss, cobwebs, and broken windows as he gets closer
Steve enters the abandoned village
A zombie lunges from a house, but burns in the sunlight
Steve finds a chest in the house the zombie came from, there's food, which he eats
He explores more of the village, and finds a blacksmith
The chest has some iron ingots and a diamond
Steve ponders the diamond as he approaches a tree
A burning zombie hits him from behind
He jumps in the water of one of those farm thingies to put out the fire as the zombie dies
He limps back to the tree and punches it in frustration
The wood breaks
~Que discovering crafting~
Steve makes an axe and sword with the iron from the chest
He goes back to the first house he found and blocks the door and windows as night falls
The house has a bed in it
He lays down and gets some much needed sleep
Steve dreams.
He's floating above the village now bustling and full of life once again
He flies down and greets the strange looking villagers
He sees them trading amongst themselves
He materializes a block of emerald, surprising himself
Steve gives the nearest villager the block
He blinks, and he's back on the ground, powerless
It's midnight, and in front of him is another person
Almost identical, were it not for the thick beard, and the empty white eyes
"You really shouldn't bother" says the doppelganger
"Don't imagine this past, you don't even know what happened, and you wouldn't like it if you did" It sneers
The leaves of the forest in the distance wilt, as smoke rises from the village, and monsters creep out from crevices in the earth
"You have more important things to worry about"
Steve awakens to the sound of burning zombies and skeletons
-To be continued when I have more energy.

Bored Thoughts on the Minecraft Movie
I was thinking about the Minecraft Movie, just ideas about it, and then i thought, what if we do what we should have as the film? we make the Piglins The good guys, The pillagers are A good Antagonist, so what if We had Steve and alex Start the film. Steve wakes up alone, he does not speak, but Does comunicate through Crouching, Placing his sword flat against his chest, Simple signs, and Notebooks. steve spends a long amount of time alone, at least 20 minutes of film, And He goes from nearly dying on the first night to Zombies and Skeletons, to Surviving with Fast simple Combat, quick well placed sword slashes, Precice Arrow shots, heavy axe swings, Just Moving around the Night Environment with deadly Effecancy. and as he is slowly surviving, he makes a home, maybe he spends a few nights in a cave, Eventualy gets some tools, makes a basic home and farm, Soon expands, and the night he goes out and fights Again his home isn't some rink-a-dink shack, Its a Full on farm, with the cave that he hid in now having a Full minecart track down it. and after the night ends, as he returns home, he finds Alex, She had Snuck into steve's home at night while he was out fighting, Steve finds her stealing his food, she's the new Player, the new person with no idea of whats going on. so what else than to take this Person in? Steve eventualy gets Alex to trust him, without speaking. through crouching, and Placing his sword flat on his chest. then the Film changes, from a Alone exploration of a New Frighting world, to a hopeful feeling of Steve teaching Alex, showing her how to Fight, teaching her how to safely explore without being caught off guard by creepers, and then Its shown that While steve is better with a sword, Alex blows him out of the water with a bow! Not that alex is a slouch with A sword or axe either, She just has more skill with a bow. we then get to watch as Alex and steve live togeather, With the two of them Being More like siblings than anything else. and then, at the halfway point, the two are attacked, not by the Undead, or the creepers, or the endermen, but by the Pillagers, sure Steve and Alex are Strong, with at least partial diamond and Iron armor, but the pillagers? its never ending! More and more and more, arrows flying from every direction, sure Steve and Alex are strong, but As we all know, when you tried to raid your first Pillager outpost, there are just so many of the fuckers. So they flee, just like Steve's first night in the world, Just like alex's. they soon find safety not in a village, but From an abandoned Nether portal. finding it durring the chase the two chose to activate it, Better to Run as far as you can then let yourself be found. so They escape into the portal. finding the Nether for the first time. This world which instead of being some sort of hell world, is instead shown as a Dangerous, but beautiful world! A place to be respected for its danger, and loved for what it has. so steve and Alex go, finding a nether fortress, Fighting Nether skeletons and blazes. being attacked by Ghasts. Struggling in the nether, sure there good at fighting. but their new to this place, they don't know what works on these new creatures that attack them on sight. and then? They encounter a Piglin as its on a hunt for a hoglin. (i will continue this later. since this is fun to type out.)

IF I DONT TELL SOMEBODY ABOUT MY TAV IM GOING TO EXPLODE
Here he is, his name is Urzire. He is (was) a pirate.
(Look at how pretty he is in these blue robes. He's so tranquil UwU)
He is a tiefling charletan bard, college of swords, former pirate captain. He fell in love with Astarion while committing scams. Unfortunately he has a condition where he only gets the Brain CellTM during the full moon (dumb of ass)
He was actually born 150ish years before the events of BG3, in a small village. His parents were farmers and he has 8 siblings and is the second youngest. He was 5 when his younger brother was born, and made it his life's mission to protect him. His parents were farmers and, unfortunately, their village was razed when Urzire was 15. He lost his entire family, and was captured and sold as a slave.
For the next seven years, he labored deep beneath the surface of the earth mining for coal and rare minerals. At one point, he and a handful of others were trapped in a cave in, where they were stuck for over three weeks waiting for rescue. So... Yeah. He's not a big fan of the Underdark. Or the caves.
He secured his freedom after seven years and found work as a sailor. Though TBH he wasn't very good at the whole "honesty" and "not stealing" thing and he was a within like three months. It was a real quick turn around.
He met Astarion in a barâAstarion, at this point, was only eighty years or so into his slavery, so he was, admittedly, in a different mindset. A little more desperate, a little less jaded, just starting to lose hope. They met at a ball Cazador dragged his spawn to; Astarion claimed to be a magistrate, Urzire claimed to also be a magistrate, and they then proceeded to seduce each other. Astarion wanted a victim for Cazador, and Urzire wanted a victim to hold as ransom. Unfortunately neither succeeded but, by sheer happenstance, they met up again in a bar months later.
Look, it's the perfect meet-cute: boy meets boy, boy1 confesses to being a vampire, boy2 confesses to having a hostage in the basement that needs to die so "I guess I wouldn't mind so terribly much if you happened to steal her away to eat..." Look, they both think they're manipulating each other, okay? Astarion thinks he's putting on a sob story to gain a powerful ally, Urzire thinks he's doing favors for a powerful vampire who will be in his debt. UNFORTUNATELY THEY BOTH CATCH FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER.
Honestly, who could have seen it coming?
The truth is revealed, they fall in love, Urzire makes plans to kill Cazador, he also reunites with his long-lost little brother (who is married and has. Tiny baby eee!) It's all very lovely and nice.
Except then it goes to shit.
His ship sinks, and he washes ashore on a tiny island in the Feywilds, because the fey who rules the island, Callipso, fell in love with him and wants to make him her husband. He resists as best he can, but Urzire is trapped with her, and she's a fey. She charms him, and takes what she wants, even though he doesn't want to give it. Every time they are intimate, he loses a piece of himselfâliterally. His skin turns grey, he loses his ability to play the violin, to sing, to do much of anything, and he's losing his memories. After 12 months, Callipso finally releases him and when he washes up on the shore back in the mortal plane, he barely remembers who he even is. All he knows is that he's in love with somebody, and they're suffering, and he has to find them.
He wanders aimlessly around the city, like a zombie, before a Nautoloid appears out of nowhere and BAHM! Tadpoled.
Except, here's the thing: time passes differently in the Feywilds. While only 12 months passed for Urzire, 120 years passed in the mortal plane.
And Urzire has no idea. In fact, when he meets Astarion, he doesn't recognize him, his memories are too fractured. But Astarion looks at Urzire and sees the ghost of a man who abandoned him, who betrayed him, who left him to rot for over a century. He doesn't believe it at first. But once he realizes... It's bad. He bites the Tiefling that night with 100% the intention to drink him dry. But Urzire seems completely in the dark and that throws him off.
They fall in love slowly. Urzire continues to show Astarion relentless compassion and, at first, the vampire wants none of it. But slowly, he warms up to it. He pieces the story together from the bits and pieces Urzire tells around the campfireâthe Tiefling was just as trapped as he was, in many ways. He's still bitter... But it fades. He falls in love.
By the time they reach Baldur's Gate, Uzire still doesn't recognize him, but he's fallen in love, and he feels guilty about itâafter all, he loves somebody back in the city, somebody who needs him.
Astarion tries to hint at the reality of the situation but doesn't have the courage to tell him outright. So when they reach the city and Urzire realizes how much time has passed... It's a doozy.
But it gets worse. Remember that bit where Urzire reunited with his long lost little brother, who is married and has a child? Well, when Urzire disappeared, Astarion didn't handle it well. He hoped for a long, long time but eventually gave up and his hope died and became rage. He took his anger out on Urzire's brother by stealing their young child in the dead of night (Astarion had been invited into the home, he had been Urzire's partner after all) and presenting him to Cazador to be eaten.
It's a secret that Astarion intended on taking with him to his grave. Until... They arrive in Cazador's palace and three guesses who's in that cell with the rest of the malnourished spawn? That's right. It's the little boy. Urzire doesn't actually recognize him, he'd only been a baby when he saw him last, as Calliope fried his memories pretty badly. In fact, Astarion doesn't even realize he's in there because he's too emotionally charged after the confrontation with Sebastian.
But after Cazador is dead, and they're climbing up the stairs to leave the palace, the realization hits Astarion in the chest like a fucking freight train. To his credit (perhaps he's only able to do it because he's already so emotionally numb), he tells Urzire and they go find the little boy, and Urzire insists on taking him back to camp.
He and Astarion do stay partners, even though their relationship is a little bit strained for a while after, understandably so. But they work it out, and Urzire goes on to adopt his nephew. Instead of living in the underground with the spawn after the game, he and Astarion and the boy immediately head to Waterdeep with Gale (because they are homeless lol) to start researchih cures for vampirism. Which they eventually find! Because it really isn't all that hard to cure vampirism in DnD.
So that's it. That's the story of my son.

Doing something a little different from my usual miniature photo posting to talk about a series of games that I and my regular opponents have have been playing for a few years now and i'd like to share them with you to hopefully spread the word of they're existence because they have honestly been a niche gems in the wargaming industry.
Opsrey Wargames for a good number of years now have slowly been releasing a series of wargames often referred to as 'Blue Books', these are a series of miniature-agnostic rule books that cover a huge variety of different genres from Sci-fi, fantasy, historical and even a few modern settings all in different styles of play from skirmish, platoon sized and even naval/void combat.
As of writing this post they're are 32 (technically 33) so there is bound to be at least one or two books that cater to someones tastes but out of these 33 rule books I will only be talk about 3.
The first game that I will talk about is the first one that I ever came across which opened my eyes to this amazing series, Zona Alfa.
Zona Alfa is a modern/sci-fi horror skirmish game based around the Ukrainian game series S.T.A.L.K.E.R which is one of my all time favorite game series so you can imagine how pumped I was when I found out when such a game exists, it was because of this game that I now own a book shelve full of terrain from old Eastern European industrial/village buildings to abandoned vehicles and junk piles.
The game itself is a D10 alternating activation system that has two warbands of S.T.A.L.K.E.R's face off against each other to scavenge for salvage while also avoiding the many hazards of the zone such as zombies, wild dogs and mutants, the game itself can feel very exploitable at times but for what it is it's doing the job of portraying a S.T.A.L.K.E.R table top game and I think its worth checking out by anyone who is a fine of the series, granted you may wanna do some home brewing/rules adjusting.
In terms of miniature/terrain recommendations I cannot suggest anyone other then Anvil Industrys, over the years they have releasing many new miniature waves through they're Digital Forge Patreon and last year they released the perfect set for this game, Post Apocalypse Set 2, this set along along with almost every other set they have created is modular with they're entire regiment-scale range so you can go all over the place with designs and weapon loadouts.
For Terrain I went to a few different sources, a large portion of my terrain was 3D printed from a creator known as Deweycat Productions, they make a vast variety of terrain mainly used for World War 2 games like Bolt Action but I find they work perfectly for Zona Alfa, you can often find people selling prints of his work on sites like Ebay and Etsy, if the price is too much for you then you might wanna look at getting some MDF kits, TTCombat has a nice selection of Modern/Historical MDF 28mm kits that work just as well as any 3D printed plastic kit and probably go for half the price, but given the game is miniature agnostic there is nothing stopping you from using any old terrain or minis you have lying around.
I feel like I have talked about Zona Alfa enough for one post so I'll end it here but next time I will talk about the second game I came across in the Blue Book series which is perhaps the game I have played the most with my friends and the only one that I have ever played a table top wargame campaign with, A Billion Suns.

I RECONFIGURED INGRID AS A DEEP GNOME. I feel so silly I didn't realize it before. She'd 100% be a deep gnome. Laura will just tower over her and Minty.
Full name:⯠Ingrid Ellen Sullenberger Name meaning:⯠Ingrid: beloved or beautiful; Ellen: sun ray or shining light; Sullenberger: habitation name for people from Sollenberg or Schallenberg Pronouns:⯠She/Her Race: Deep Gnome Age: 28 Orientation: Pansexual Romance: Halsin Class: Druid Subclass: Circle of the Spores Origin: Sage Theme Song: Why Am I Like This? â Orla Gartland / To My Parents â Anna Clendening / Overthink â Addison Grace / Hate Myself â Dodie
Personality Ingrid is soft-spoken and timid. She can be shy, but once she feels comfortable, she loves to talk! People are surprised at how at ease she feels with the dead and the spores, but it makes perfect sense when you get to know her. She respects all aspects of nature, including death and decay. Oddly, itâs become a way for her to confront her own fear of death.
Sheâs a pushover and she lacks assertiveness. Or, at least, thatâs who she was before she became a leader of a ragtag team of certified weirdos. She had to get it together and take care of them. Her bravery comes from how terrified she is. If she didnât have other people to take care of, sheâd probably curl up in a corner and cry. When other people are relying on her, she quickly musters up every ounce of courage she has and powers through her terror.
She always comes through in a clutch. Even when scared out her mind, sheâll never abandon anyone. Sheâll just go have a panic attack after itâs safe. She has an incredibly kind heart and strong sense of empathy.Â
During the entire adventure, she does a good job tricking everyone into thinking she's fearless. In reality, she just doesn't let herself stop to think long enough to cower like she wants to.
Background Ingrid was born in the Underdark in a small deep gnome settlement. She comes from a divided home. Her father, Sully, left her mother, Greta, when Ingrid was young. Sully would then marry Anna, a forest gnome, who resented living in the Underdark. Anna also hated Greta with a passion. She was terrified that Greta would "steal" Sully back from her.
It cause a lot of heartache and jealousy among the adults. Ingrid and her younger brother, Sebastian, were often pitted against each other. Anna would take her anger out on Ingrid since she was a timid child. Ingrid would eventually stop trying to spend time with her father to avoid Anna altogether. Sully never made an effort to reach out.
Ingrid felt suffocated by the isolated nature of her village. It didn't help that the Underdark can be cold and unforgiving. She decided to head for the surface and move to Baldur's Gate.
Ingrid found a way to make a living for herself by offering tattooing services. Itâs something she practice from a young age and she made a decent living off of it in the city.
She would meet Minty when she first arrived in the city, but she wouldnât meet Laura until a few years later. Ingrid had settled into a routine in Baldurâs Gate, not entirely sure she was happy with it.
The universe would throw a wrench in the works when she was abducted and given a tadpole.
Likes: Tattoos, tattoo artistry, drawing, scary stories, romance stores, cute outfits and accessories, spiders, sweets, animals, autumn, the beach, forests, and winter
Dislikes: Disrespecting the occult or nature, standing up for herself, baking, sand (it gets everywhere), bitter foods, and how deep gnomes are treated/regarded
Fears: Sheâs terrified of dying and getting older. It consumes her thoughts often. She fears one day sheâll be old and alone, and left to die a lonely death. Keeping her spore zombies and skeletons close helps her feel better as strange as it may sound. Sheâs afraid of being âthrown awayâ by those she loves at any moment.
She's also scared of becoming like her mother, a complete pushover who is too afraid to live her own life.
Quirks:⯠She struggles to speak up and itâs hard to hear her at times. People misunderstand her a lot due to the fact her voice doesnât always carry very well. Her eye twitches when she's anxious or hasn't gotten enough rest.
Mental Health:âŻÂ She has anxiety and depression. She is preoccupied with her fears of death and aging beyond what is reasonable. Sheâs terrified she has no value for the people around her and could be discarded at any moment. Her depression can make her listless sometimes. If she doesnât have a job to do or someone to help, sheâll struggle to get up to do anything for herself.
Favorite Foods: Strawberries, Potato Soup, Pasta, Mushrooms, and Honey Cake
Favorite Drinks: Chili Chai
Favorite Flower: Camellia of the Black Lady
Height:⯠3'6â/ 106.68 cmÂ
Skin: Grey-Blue (Ice Tone 2)
Hair:⯠Dark Blue (Blue 5)
Eyes:⯠Blue (Blue 2)
Color Scheme:⯠She loves wearing blacks, browns, and greens.Â
Fashion Sense: She straddles two worlds. She loves to be in nature with clothing to match, but she also loves to wear cute outfits made by merchants Baldurâs Gate or Neverwinter.
Sheâs not as free with nudity as Halsin is. She can handle other peopleâs nudity. Sheâs just self-conscious about her own.
She has a lot of tattoos that are only visible when she wears more revealing clothing.
Family:Â
Calvin âSullyâ Sullenberger Sully is the head of the household. He secretly likes having Anna and Greta fight over him, ignoring the damage it has done to his children. Heâs friendly and boisterous, but selfish.
Greta Sullenberger Sheâs Ingridâs mother. Sheâs a lot like Ingrid, but even more docile than her daughter. She doesnât stand up to Sully or Anna as often as she should. Ingrid fears she may be too much like her mother.
Anna Sullenberger She's Sully's second wife who terrorizes Greta and Ingrid. As horrible as she is to everyone, she's convinced she's the real victim in all of this. She's needy and loves being the center of attention.
Sebastian Sullenberger Heâs Annaâs son. He is the apple of her eye and he hates it. He actually likes Ingrid and he wants a healthy relationship with her, but his mother makes it near impossible. He also left home early to avoid dealing with his parentsâ drama. Heâs off being an adventurer in FaerĂťn. Ingrid hasn't seen him in years. He looks like a forest gnome and most people would never guess that he's Ingrid's brother.

Chapter 48 - As The Waters Flow of Heaven Has A Road But No One Walks It is up! :D
The rains caught up with them at last, and any hope that it might ease the sweltering heat was thoroughly dashed â the air was so thick with humidity, it was worse than the mists back in Yi City, thick and heavy and hot.
And yet, despite the discomfort of damp, clinging robes and the relentless heat... there was a comfortable familiarity, a sense of peace to simply walking.
âI have been thinking, lately, about the flow of water,â Xiao Xingchen mused out loud, unthinkingly letting a nudge from Xue Yang's elbow steer him around yet some other puddle or muddy patch. âAnd I've realized that by setting my heart so firmly on what we hoped to achieve in Jinlintai, making it the one goal above all others... I blinded myself to the greater truth of what it is I â we - actually hope to do.â
âOf course,â Xue Yang amiably agreed, and he really should have seen the bad joke coming, he should have, âyou are blind, Daozhang.â
âââââââââ
Things are heating up, and it's not just the weather. đ
I'm having a rough time with my creativity lately - please know that your comments and asks and fun tags are literally what keeps me going. If you enjoy this story and want more of it, please tell me so..? đĽş

Can't help but oblige and ask about your hc for the origins of Song Lan's mysophobiađ
I know I outright encouraged the question, but wow. đ
So this was a headcanon I picked up for Heaven Has A Road after actually writing the events that partially gave rise to it.
When I was on vacation a couple of months back, I found myself without hand sanitizer after visiting a store, and after the last two years of pandemic and the super-strict regulations at that particular location, being unable to sanitize my hands for those few minutes before I got back to the hotel really made my skin crawl. Like there were potential pathogens all over them, to the point I could almost feel it.
And so logically, I thought to myself "Wow, this must be how Song Lan feels at all times."
And then my next thought was "Huh, and he was the one who immediately picked up on the abandoned zombie village having been devastated by a plague..."
So, a Song Lan who knows to spot the aftermath of a plague, a Song Lan obsessed with staying clean, avoiding closeness and touch... A Song Lan raised by a temple, because he had no family of his own...
Maybe the first plague he saw was his home village. Maybe toddler Song Lan was told by terrified relatives not to approach strangers, not to touch, wash your hands, keep clean - or the sickness will get you, will get us all...
And then it did.
Maybe Song Lan was taken in by Baixue because everyone else was gone. Dead. Their bodies twisted and swollen and festering, ruined and tainted by sickness. Uncleanness. And if you touch, if you get dirty, if you don't stay clean... It will get you too. Get you, and all those you care about.
He was too young to consciously remember any of it. In his mind, there's nothing before Baixue.
But after that, he never stopped compulsively washing his hands.
And he still can't make himself touch.

My #1 post of 2022
Just your casual reminder that when faced with an enemy knocked flat on his back, Xiao Xingchenâs reaction was to go straight for the heart.
No demanding he surrender. No using the spirit-trapping rope he carries in his sleeve to restrain him. No hesitation, no quarter.
In that moment, beautiful Bright Moon Xiao Xingchen was 100% down for ice cold murder, and you canât tell me Xue Yang didnât fall in love then and there. âĽ

Minecraft Thoughts
I havenât played Minecraft in many years, so Iâm often awed by things others find mundane. Hereâs some cool things Iâve encountered! Iâll add on to it as I play more.
Ice biomes??? Big ice spires and igloos and arctic foxes and full on winter villages with furnaces??? Very pretty in the snow. Oh and I heard a very pretty song here!
Foxes! How can I tame them? OvO
Iâm a bit bummed that ocelots no longer turn into cats. I had a lot of fun feeding them fish and seeing the random cat breeds theyâd become.
New village structures? Multiple story houses? Legendary.
Different TYPES of villages! Iâve seen some sort of jungle one with fire pits that was cool!
Speaking of, I found a cliffside village and encountered Drowned in the area, so I explored. I stumbled into a lush cave completely by accident. Very very pretty. And new mining shafts! Not to mention the amethyst caves duuuuuuude.
TREASURE MAPS!!!
The nether in general, omg. New music, creepy sounds, new areas like dusty places and forests and blue fire and much larger fortresses! Iâm having fun exploring for the first time on my own. Last time I played, I didnât even go there, but ghasts were less scary and zombie pigmen existed. Good thing I knew to wear gold though!
Abandoned villages in superflat???
Caves are much larger and easy to get lost in. Oof, they intimidate me.
Copper exists now.
Polar bears, bees, goats, and llamas exist now, but I havenât interacted with them enough to have an opinion. I am surprised the polar bear didnât attack me on site though, thatâs good!
New villagers??? And many new blocks with purpose like stonecutters?? I only know how to use furnaces hellllp! And how do I make raw ores into ingots? Some aspects overwhelm me, haha.
Zombie and skeleton horses yoooooooo!
DOLPHINS AND SEA TURTLES.
Underwater reefs. :O
More complicated naturally occurring structures? So cool!
Elytras my beloved.
Sinking snow is terrifying and annoying.

so basically it started out as a creekĂfloyd swap au, but it's turned into a lot more? the gist is that brozone never broke up, and in the great bergen escape, clay and viva were still separated from the rest of the trolls, but King Peppy died and the rest of brozone got out. The Trolls were unguided so JD stepped forward and took the roll as leader ON ACCIDENT by claiming he could see the future. Everyone flocked to him and his brothers for safety- Bruce became the village match maker (he believes JD can see the future) and Floyd follows him (he doesn't believe in JD but follows along to protect Branch.)
So time goes on and Branch and Poppy grow up to be swapped from canon. Branch is saved from the abandonment trauma he developed in canon and has his full color, but Poppy and Creek are outcasts (theyre like siblings to each other and grew up like siblings) and Poppy is Gray. The village is basically a cult that worships JD, and JD and the others don't trust Poppy or Creek.
In Trolls 1, Creek is stolen from chef and his blood is harvested by her until he "reveals the Trolls village location", but really he lies about where they are. Poppy initally begs for JD's help retrieving Creek and, when he says no, Branch and Floyd join her (unclear whether or not Floyd winningly does so, i think he goes to protect Branch). I think at that point Branch begins to break away from JD fr and Floyd and Creek's relationship begins to develop. Also in this AU, the Trolls never befriend the Bergens.
Background for Trolls 2; Riff and Barb grew up as siblings, and when they were younger, the rock King was killed by some creature (not much revealed about it yet but its a clown thing that I think plays an important role in the au plot) leaving them alone. Riff and Barb have a bit of a swap where Riff is really the one orchestrating everything (or at least that's what it looks like to me idk.) A character named Sabbath, and animalistic troll, is picked up by them a little before the Rock King dies and protects them physically. When they all get older and the plot for Trolls 2 begins, they command Sabbath to find the pop Troll village for them, and when he does, he unintentionally forms a bond with them (especially JD). Eventually, he is commanded to bring back the leaders (JD, Bruce, and Floyd). Creek, Poppy, and Branch go to save them, and Sabbath ends up helping them. Barb gets blinded in one eye by JD who cannot be tamed by a rock zombie.
I haven't found much on the Trolls 3 plot and the creators stated they don't have much even developed for that movie, but Branch and the brothers (plus Poppy and Viva) reunite with Clay, and I think it's JD who ends up in the diamond bottle instead of Floyd.
If you want to see all the content, just click on the brotherhood tag on both of the creator's (Oketlyn-s and teaOwOstache) blogs and scroll on the way down until the beginning. You'll find all the extra bits I missed and cool art for it. It'll take a while, but trust me, it's worth it.
So basically, Broppy personality swap, Cliva personality swap, and Bruce, JD, and Floyd have the personality of Creek whereas Creek has Floyd's canon personality.
One of the creator's also said they're working on a master doc with all the plot but they aren't done so that should come out at some point, we just have to be patient :) hope all this helped!! but yea just click on the brotherhood au tag, click on "latest" instead of "top," and scroll alllll the way down and make your way up from there
Hey... could somebody explain to me what the brotherhood au is about?
It looked pretty interesting, and I also want to know how to look at the images in order, could somebody tell me, please?

Where is my lover?
Pairing: c!Dreamwastaken x gn!Reader
Summary: Living outside the Dream SMP, far from the war and chaos, Dream was able to find comfort in you. One day, he leaves, promising to come back to you. It's been months, now you're left wondering... where is my lover?
Warnings: cursing, use of dream's real name, spoilers for the Dream SMP Finale, tiny bit of fluff at the start, angst
Word Count: 2.4k
A/N: I've been watching Attack on Titan recently, and the song 'Call Your Name' has me in the feels :( Sorry for being away for so long :( School has been an ass to me, I hope you enjoy it!! -Hunee <3
Also! Please don't mind the pronouns in the song! This is a gender-neutral fic, I merely just wrote the song lyrics as they are :)
She lost her brother a month ago
His picture on the wall
And it reminds me
When she brings me coffee... her smile
I wish I could be with her until my last day
In the forest, a cottage lays peacefully in a secluded meadow near a running stream. The tall trees lay their shadows onto the grassy floor, leaving marks from the sun. Water solemnly runs along, moving to its next destination through the stream. Grass rustles and a soft sigh is heard.
Stretching his arms above his head, a man clad in green slowly sits up, emerald eyes darting around. He yawns. "(Y/N)!" He's now standing up, searching for his lover. Dream's hand reaches down to grab his mask left abandoned on the grass, quickly putting it on.
Preparing his sword, his hand on the hilt, Dream slowly steps toward the cottage. He rests a hand on the door, waiting for something, anything.
A scream is heard.
He now slams the door open, netherite blade on full display, ready to attack. Looking around, he notices no one but (Y/N) in the cozy home, with a kettle on the ground next to them. Lowering his guard, sighing with relief, he sheathes his sword once more, walking over to his distraught partner.
"Are you alright?" Removing his mask, he takes their hands in his. Dream looks at them. (Y/N) looks down, taking their hurt hand out of his. Sighing, Dream quickly leads them over to the sink, running the tap. "What happened?" The coldness of the water helped soothe the burn. "I just, accidentally burnt myself with the kettle. It's okay, I'll live, Clay."
The man remained silent. The only sound heard in the cottage was the running tap water. After treating the burn on their hand, Dream leads (Y/N) to the chair on the side of the room. "You. Sit. I'll finish doing whatever you were doing. You just sit there and take it easy, you just burnt your hand." Bending down to their height, Dream stands face to face with (Y/N). He narrows his eyes slightly. He was always like this. Whenever (Y/N) got hurt in any sort of way, Dream was always on it, almost suffocating them with his overwhelming protectiveness.
They sighed, avoiding his eyes. "I- I was just... I just wanted to make you a coffee this morning. I know you're going to be busy later, so I wanted to make sure that you were energized for your work." Fiddling with their bandaged hand, (Y/N) smiled gently. "I see how you're always so dedicated to the stuff you do, and I wanted to return the favor, even if it's just a cup of coffee."
Dream's eyes softened. It was true, he was dedicated to his work. Running an SMP was hard, especially with some people interfering with his plans recently. He had plans to take power over the server again. Finding and taking everything his people were attached to was difficult, but at least he had (Y/N) to come home to. It was all for them. It was worth the hard work and pain just to see (Y/N) smile at him, showing him their love.
"It's okay. Thank you for wanting to do that, but you don't have to." Running his hand up to their cheek, he smiled. "I do all of my work for you, to help make a safe place for you. Once I sort out the rebellious people, I promise, I'll come back to you, and we can live together in my SMP." (Y/N) gazed up at him, looking into his eyes. They smiled, beaming at the idea.
"Alright! I promise I'll wait for you! I'll always wait for you. I love you, Clay."
"I love you too. I promise I will come back to you. Always."
He would do anything to see that smile on their face all the time.
She said she gave all her love to me
We dreamt a new life
Some place to be at peace
But things changed... Suddenly
I lost my dreams in this disaster
It had been two days. Two days since Dream had left. (Y/N) had since then tended to the flowers and read a few books Dream had gotten them from a faraway village.
'I wonder what he's doing now?' Looking up at the sky, (Y/N)'s mind began to wander. What was dream doing right now? Maybe he was still on his way back to his SMP? Or maybe he was trading with villagers for resources?
They smiled. Dream had been one of (Y/N)'s lifelong friends turned partner. They had met when (Y/N) used to live in a village as a child. (Y/N) was nine and Clay was ten. Dream had gotten into a rough fight with two skeletons and a zombie. He was stumbling around, trying to find help for his injuries.
That was when (Y/N) appeared. Hearing the boy's cries, they ran out of their family home, taking Dream into the house to be treated, screaming for their parents to help him.
They had grown up together as best friends after that. Meeting George and Sapnap, the group loved to go on little adventures together and play their favourite game: manhunt. Dream would always insist on running, with George and Sapnap chasing after him. Sometimes, (Y/N) would join them, but they quite enjoyed seeing the trio panic during the game. It was fun.
A couple years ago, Dream visited (Y/N), saying that he was starting up his own SMP, a place where he and his friends could have fun and just be themselves all the time. The two of them spend hours in (Y/N)'s room, talking about their big plans and ideas for the SMP. Dream wanted to build a cottage near a stream, and live there peacefully with (Y/N). They were shocked, Dream wanted to live with them? "Why?" They asked.
"Well, because of... I'll just show you."
That was the day Clay had kissed (Y/N) for the first time.
I'm crying
Missing my lover
I don't have the power
On my side forever
A month had passed. Nothing from Dream. Usually, he'd send a message through on their server communicator, asking how they were and informing them of his journey and new discoveries. But that didn't happen, not this time.
It was hard. Clay had been such a big part of their life that sometimes they found it hard not to worry about him. They knew he was strong, he could take down armies of people, but everyone had their limit.
Raising the iron hoe, (Y/N) swung down, making way for the new seeds of crops that would grow over the next few months. Wiping their forehead with their sleeve, they sighed.
All they wanted was for Dream to be safe, and for him to come back home once he finished his business in the SMP.
Oh Where is my lover
And I got no power
I'm standing alone, No way
Calling out your name
Heavy pants of breath echoed throughout the underground bunker. He was panicking. It wasn't supposed to go like this.
The plan was to kill Tubbo and make Tommy give him his disks.
It all went to shit when Punz showed up with backup, showing the people of his SMP that had turned against him fully.
"W-woah! Okay! Tommy, calm down!"
The blonde boy didn't listen, hands gripping the axe of peace and lifting it high above his head.
"Tell me why I shouldn't kill you Dream, right here, right now."
Dream silently gulped. For once, his plan failed. It backfired on him and blew up in his face. 'Sorry (Y/N). Guess I'm not coming back tonight.' He just wanted this to be over. He just wanted to be back in the cottage near the stream, sitting with his lover.
His green eyes darted around to everyone in the room. They looked disgusted, some disappointed, others angry. He knew this would never change. He would never get his SMP back. They hated him. Wanted him gone.
"Does Y/N know you're like this?"
His breath hitched. Eyes went wide.
Sapnap had stepped forward, sword out, pointing it threatening at Dream. "Do they know just how bad you are? How corrupt you've become?!" He was yelling at this point. Sapnap was upset as well. It was hard to believe that his best friend would do all of these bad things, it hurt to betray him, but he had to do what was right.
"S-stop. Stop talking about them."
For once, Dream was vulnerable. He hated it. He was always so soft when it came to them. When it came to (Y/N). Sapnap knew that. He had seen it when they were together, how happy dream was when he was with them, following them around like a lost puppy, longing for their love. It went both ways, (Y/N) was the same.
"Who the fuck is- Nevermind. Dream. Give me one good fucking reason why I shouldn't-"
"Tommy stop." Sapnap stepped in again. "This is important to not just me but for another person as well." Tommy stepped back, axe still prepared to lash out just in case. Tommy kept muttering to himself, something about a green bastard.
"Dream. Where is (Y/N)? You said they would join the SMP with us, but they're not here, nobody has seen them, probably besides you. You said that they changed their mind about the SMP, or was that a lie too?"
Dream gulped, words caught in his throat.
"Tell me, you bastard! Where is (Y/N) and do they know?!"
"No. They don't know. All I wanted to do was protect them from something I knew would happen. The wars, the chaos of the SMP. They didn't need to be a part of that. I didn't want them to get hurt."
It was almost like a plea. Dream's voice was quiet like he didn't want them to hear what he was saying. Sapnap stepped back, somewhat satisfied with his answer. He was also upset, he hadn't seen (Y/N) in years, not since before the SMP started.
Tommy finally stepped forward.
"Now. Tell me why I shouldn't kill you, Dream."
"I can bring people back to life. I can bring Wilbur back."
I said I gave all my love to you
We dreamt a new house
Some place to be at peace
But things changed... Suddenly
I lost my dreams in this disaster
Three months. It had been three long months without him. (Y/N) would spend every other night crying in their bed, missing him. They missed everything about him. No messages from him on their communicator. No death messages about him either.
They had never thought that three months could feel so long.
Surely he was busy doing stuff that would mean the world was safer for them. That's what he always said. He said that he worked for them and that he promised that they could settle down and make a new cottage near a different stream, closer to the SMP.
He said he needed to dig out the rebellious people and make his SMP a better place.
All (Y/N) could hope for was that he was safe and doing okay.
We don't know what is wrong tonight
Everybody's got no place to hide
No one's left and there's no one to go on
All I know is my life is gone
Dream was not feeling safe and right now he was feeling anything but okay.
Tommy had just broken his mask. Split down the middle, from the axe of peace.
He didn't want anyone to see his face, no one but (Y/N) and the people who had already seen it before he started wearing the mask.
His mask was his safe haven. A facade he could hide behind. With it gone, there was now no place for him to hide.
All he had done was tell Tommy that he could bring people back to life. When he mentioned Wilbur, Tommy seemed shocked, but then he seemed to come back to his senses after remembering what Wilbur was like before he died.
He went crazy. Insane. All because of Dream and his stupid motives. He only fueled Wilbur's change, encouraging him to blow Manburg up after Jschlatt took over. Thank God for Karl destroying the button the first time. The second attempt was successful and sealed Wilbur's fate as a psychotic, destroyed ex-president swayed by the masked man into committing destruction.
Tommy was angry at that. At the fact that Dream would even think about bringing back Wilbur.
Enraged, he brought the axe down onto Dream's cowering figure.
I'm crying
Missing my lover
I don't have the power
On my side forever
Sitting up, (Y/N) slowly looked around the room. It was the same as always; no Dream insight. They woke up every day with a feeling of hope that they would turn around and see Dream at the door, back from his trip.
The situation was too much. (Y/N)'s breaths quickened, eyes blurring up with tears, the salty water slowly dripping down the sides of their cheeks. They let out a dry laugh, bringing up their sweater paw hands to their face, wiping the tears.
They stared at the sleeve of the hoodie they had on. It was green.
It was his.
He always left a spare here, just in case.
It always came in handy when (Y/N) missed him.
They sighed, flopping back down onto the bed, curling into themselves and the hoodie. It smelt like him. He always smelt like a run through the forest, with a hint of saltwater and citrus.
It was comforting.
He was comforting.
The tears wouldn't stop. Every time (Y/N) wiped them away, fresh ones would keep coming. Where was he? Was he okay? It was all they could think about.
(Y/N) hugged themselves, hoping to recreate a hug like his. It didn't work. It never worked.
Nothing could ever compare to his hugs.
Still sobbing, (Y/N) cried themselves back to sleep, despite it being morning.
Not like they had any motivation to do anything without the assurance of him being okay anyways.
Oh Where is my lover
And I got no power
I'm standing alone, No way
Calling out your name
Beep.
(Y/N)'s communicator went off.
Dream was slain by Tommyinnit.

Scattered AU Masterpost Part 1
This is a collection of all material associated with the Scattered AU (read about the premise here)!
Join the new Discord server here
AU material under the cut (because this is growing super fast already)
Due to post length limit (which is apparently a thing), find Part 2 of this AU here.
A few ideas to get us started:
- Tango and Zedaph spawned relatively close to each other, but they haven't found each other yet and each think they are alone. They keep just barely missing each other in their exploration of the area. Maybe, with the powers of Zed's perfect sense of direction and Tango's laser-sharp perception skills, they'll finally stop walking circles around each other...maybe.
- Xisuma spawned alone, deep underground in a massive, confusing cave system. He desperately wants to figure out what's going on and how to fix it, but a bad run-in with the Warden damaged his helmet, leaving him unable to use admin commands.
- Mumbo spawned the farthest out of anyone, right next to a woodland mansion. He quickly realized that hoping to stumble across another person this far out is a lost cause, so he's trying to create some form of communication using a combination of redstone and Evoker magic. The Evoker isn't very helpful, and it isn't going well.
- Joe and Vintagebeef were the only ones to successfully spawn at spawn. They aren't really sure what's going on, but they've decided to build a small village as a base of operations while they figure it out (and to signal signs of life to anyone who might successfully find their way back)
- Cleo spawned in a village, and is currently hiding out in a house while trying to convince the villagers to trust her. Let's just say they aren't thrilled to have a zombie in their midst (and the iron golem is even less pleased)
- Impulse had the misfortune to spawn in a guardian temple. Between the guardians and the constant threat of drowning, he's been in a death loop since the world started.
- False and Stress spawned right next to each other. They figured out pretty early that something was wrong with regen, and using their combined strengths, they made it to the Nether to get ingredients for healing potions. They are now on a mission to find the others and distribute the potions to whoever needs them.
- Ren actually managed to travel a good distance back to the world center, before getting pretty badly injured. With no regen, and knowing he'll have to start the journey all over if he dies and respawns, he's decided to pull together a small base and take shelter while he waits to be found.
- Scar spawned on an outer End island, with no idea how to get back to the Overworld. He keeps finding strange glitches in his surroundings, and he swears he can hear soft Vex laughter whenever he turns his back...
- Keralis spawned in the Nether, and he is absolutely terrified.
That's all I have for ideas so far. The location of the others (and what happens next) is up to you!
Contributions so far:
- Bdubs spawns in the void, but he just doesnât die. Maybe itâs spawn protection, maybe itâs the glitches, but he just keeps falling and falling and falling further from the bedrock, unable to do anything to help himself as he descends further into the void
- @fluffy-papaya
- After wandering around aimlessly for days or maybe weeks, Tango finds an automatic farm for... well... he's not sure, exactly. But he does know who built it- it's got Zedaph's mark all over it. So he stays there, fixing broken Redstone, trying to figure out what it does. And when Zedaph returns to collect melons (so that's what this thing is for), he finds Tango waiting for him.
- @rayveewrites
- Etho spawns in a underwater cave, but there is air in it and for some reason a shipwreck so he can get some wood and tools. But he has to get out to contact anyone because the reception in caves don't happen to be the best, little does he know just outside the cave is the monument where Impulse is, they're so close yet so far from one another
- anonymous
- Maybe Etho ended up spawning at the very top of a mountain, he could see far from up there and has a general idea of where he is, but no idea how to get down as all around him is powderd snow hiding ravines, and cliffs. . . And a few goats that Etho has narowly avoided getting headbutted by. (Etho went to the mountain after escaping the cave)
- @ciaravixen
- Welsknight spawned in the Nether
- (paraphrased) Ren fell down a ravine in the mountains on his journey to the world center, and decided to make a small cabin base rather than try to carry on injured. Doc spawned in those same mountains, and may find him eventually.
- anonymous
- Grian spawns on the tallest peak of the highest mountain. Surrounded by thick fog and almost ever-falling snow, with crevasses and cliffs that drops thousands of blocks to the ground around every corner. No trees, no life, and barely enough air to breath. It's so cold. A thin red sweater isn't nearly enough to keep him warm.... he's likely caught in a death loop for quite awhile as he refreeze over, and over, and over again. And when he does manage to climb down, an ice pillager lies in wait...
- @therainofsweetmelody
- Scarâs End spawn is on a single island- he can see other islands around him, but theyâre just out of jump reach- he tried, and fell and died, and respawned back onto his little island with the whispering voices around him a tad louder, and the islands just a bit farther away. He stops trying to jump to them eventually, out of fear theyâll vanish and he wonât have anything to focus on besides the whisper of ice cold hands and wings on his skin
- anonymous
- Oh! Maybe since Xisumaâs admin helmet is broken and heâs unable to run any world commands, that means mob hermits like Cleo, Doc, and Jevin arenât quite the same. Maybe Cleo locked herself in that house for the villagers protection as much as her own. Maybe Doc eventually joins a lone creeper pack. Who knows! -đ§
- anonymous
- Zed and Tango spawned in the same jungle biome, explaining the melon farm and why they could be literally three blocks from each other and still not be aware of each otherâs existence. -đŁ
- The first thing Scar does once he first spawns in (besides from almost having a panic attack) is take a jump into the void. This of course does nothing. He checks out the rest of the end islands around him, and finds a rather large end city just in render distance. There should be treasure or something that could help him survive, right? -đŁ
- Keralis was lucky enough to spawn in a warped forest biome and next to a basalt delta, so heâs got wood and stone. It takes a bit, but he gets full gold armor and finds his way to a nether fortress. He figures with the broken regen that the other hermits will try to go for potions. Maybe he finds Stress and False, maybe not. -đŁ
- I apologize if I'm sending too many asks, please feel free to say if so! I'm just already so invested in this idea, and absolutely love where it's all going! Shattered au brainrot go brrrrr - anyways; Cub spawns in a valley within the messa. To one side an abandoned village covers the cliff, and to the other, mines drill deep into the rock. A stream luckily runs through the valley, though it's slowly drying up. He can hear strange sounds in the mines, and feels something in the village watching
- @/therainofsweetmelody
- what if the hermits caught in death loops start gaining scars and marks from all their deaths? like impulse had permanent scars from the guardians and grianâs hands are permanently blue from freezing to death all the time
- anonymous
- X finds some axoloyls in a lush cave and falls in love. He gets some wood from said cave and gets some buckets so he can keep them -đŁ
- Cleo gets stuck in a death loop with the iron golem, who is blind to her not attacking the villagers. One of the smarter villagers realizes sheâs not fighting back, and calls the golem off. -đŁ
- (paraphrased) After the iron golem is called off, Stress and False find Cleo badly hurt in the village house. They make sure she's comfortable and safe before going to the Nether to get potions, where they find a battered Keralis and carry him back. They turn the house into a little hospital while they brew potions and take care of Cleo and Keralis until they're strong enough to move on.
- anonymous
- Stress and False have set up a Nether Portal near a Nether Fortress, for easy escape to the relative safety of the Overworld. Keralis has never been more relieved in his life than when he found that portal.
- @/rayveewrites
- Doc spawned a thousand blocks away from ren, not knowing hos friend was there he happened to go in that direction. He managed to get materials, tools and food for himself before he sees rens little hut
- anonymous
- Jevin was one of the luckier hermits, when it came to where he spawned. He woke up in the shallow green waters of a floral cave, illuminated by glowing rocks and berries. He wasn't... quite alone. Although no other hermits could be seen, he quickly found a small family of axolotl living in the closed-off cave. They became his companions as he tried to assess his situation, and served as comfort when he realised his communicator was almost useless. Being slime, the environment was very welcoming
- @/therainofsweetmelody
- Xb spawns in the middle of a desert, with not even a village in sight. While he's used to being in distant lands with limited resources, he's very much not used to it on the Hermitcraft server with limited contact to the others. As the nights go by and the sands grow more hostile thanks to never-burning husks, he grows more and more lonely.
-@/basaltdragon
- At first, Doc is elated when he spawns on a mountain surrounded by goats. That is, until he discovers that none of his fellow hermits are there with him. After being headbutted down the mountain into the snowy tundra below and left on precariously low health, he hunkers down in a nearby igloo. But it's not exactly easy in a food-scarce biome when his only contacts are two villagers and the horde of strays that gather outside each night...
-@crows-in-space
- in one sense of the word, scar is safe. There's enough chorus fruit on the island to keep him alive, and despite his concerns the enderman don't even bat an eye at him. Theoretically, he could survive for longer than many of the others. But the whispers keep nagging at him, pushing him closer and closer to the edge. Sure, he could survive, but how long could he stay on this deathly quiet piece of land before someone would find him? He can see the faint outline of an End City on one of the fading islands, and every passing moment it haunts him. If he could just give in for a moment, let the powers of the vex harness his body for just a few seconds, maybe he could make it over and gather some gear- maybe even an elytra- and then he'd be set. But fear and logic talk him out of it. He's made deals with the vex before, and that quick trip across the islands could put him in a much more dangerous position than only being stranded...
- @/crows-in-space
- What if after scar gives up, he finds his vex mask lying on the floor with a tag saying âdo it, itâll help you get acrossâ (shade's note: Scar does it)
- anonymous
- For the Scattered AU: Scar gets an elytra, and after much internal struggling he decides to take a chance and leap into the darkness for hope of finding another island. During his terrifying glide he hears a distant scream from the void that is so familiar, but he can't quite place it, and he's in no hurry to risk flying any lower to check it out. - M
- @petrichormeraki
- Iskall and doc's robotic eye glitch out so they don't have any depth vision, so no mater where they spawn, they Are bound to die a few times from missinterprating how far away an Arrow or trident is, and how fast something is coming at them.
- @/ciaravixen
- I initially thought of this for Ren, but since there was already an idea for him, it could probably work for Iskall instead; He spawns in the middle of a scorching desert. Dunes of sand for as far as the eye can see, with barely a cactus or dead Bush in between. No water, no life - only the ever-present heat of the sweltering sun, and the large skeletons everywhere. He manages to find an abandoned temple after days of dragging himself through the sand, and spies a desert village on the horizon
- @/therainofsweetmelody
- Scattered AU! The way the "not killing Bdubs in his own spawn in the void" glitches work is similar to the forgiving void mod works where when you hit the bottom of the void you are teleported to the top instead of taking damage, but since Bdubs can't see anything in the void he doesn't know this (beyond a constant falling) feeling until he manages to "fall forward" enough to find some end islands, he finds scar this way but is so excited to see him he died from fall damage right in front of him
- @theclockworkowl
- (Scattered AU) Piggybacking off the death loop scars ask, when/if Bdubs is rescued from the void, he's in ROUGH shape. His external limbs are blackened and freezing with frostbite from the void (voidbite?), and his bones are permanently weakened from his form being subjected to the cold abyss for so long. Bdubs needs to relearn gravity after falling for so long, and doesn't use elytra anymore. The solid ground under his feet is something he'll never sacrifice for convenience ever again. - M
- @/petrichomeraki
- Wels spawned in a giant crimson forest in the nether. Towering mushroom trees, thick red vines, with piglins and hoglins he constantly has to run away from. But he finds something.... interesting as he's exploring. A house has been built into a wall, a mixture of nether and overworld blocks. Stepping inside, someone clearly lives there - someone who's not a piglin. Imagine his surprise (and relief) when a certain familair knight walks through the door. "Helsknight?"
-@/therainofsweetmelody
- xB wakes up in a dripstone cavern. It's damp and cold and the spikes are very tall, forming a sort of natural cage around him. At the very least, zombies and mobs can't get through, but the longer he stays there, the weirder the sounds get. There... wasn't a new mob for the dripstone caves, right? Right? (i'm trying VERY hard not to do new hermit OR crossover headcanons for scattered au. i swear) ~@betweenlands
- Scattered AU! Everyone Etho dies He spawns in a new place, first it was the underwater cave, then it was the top of a mountain, but it wasn't until he spawned inside an ocean monument and saw impulse trying to escape just as he was dying he realise the importance of the pattern, He was cycling though each of the other hermits spawn locations, which made all the wierd almost hermit made wierdnes make sense, the underwater one was his but the mountain was Grian's spawn spot,
- @/theclockworkowl
- Can the hermits see death messages? (They can) I'm imagining the potential angst of that, where normal world messages (achievements, commands, deaths) go through just fine but the others can't chat. The helplessness of watching their friends' names endlessly filling the chat and having no idea where they are, having no clue how to help, not even being able to offer comfort.
- @/basaltdragon
- Someone had mentioned xisuma also ending up in a floral cavern with axolotl, right? What if this was the same cave Jevin found himself stuck in? After days and days of clawing at stone, xisuma finally breaks into a cavern filled with faint light. After discovering the friendly acolotls, he notices a strange blue mass floating in the water.... and is almost startled to death when he sees the skull faintly showing through the slime, and the familiar wobbly voice coming from it. "Xisuma?"
- Doc and Grian (and later on, ren) spawned on the same mountain. Grian, of course, at the very top: stuck in the endless snowpeak, towering high above the clouds. Doc, meanwhile, ended up at the base, surrounded by snow and goats and giant taiga trees as far as the eye could see. Once Ren got stuck in the ravine, he often heard a familiar scream before a sickening splat every now and again, as the ravine lies almost completely below the highest peak. He's afraid to check his communicator.
- @/therainofsweetmelody
- grianâs practically given up since thereâs not much for him to do. thereâs no food and his hands are too frozen to mine. a little fox stays by his side at least. heâs about to freeze again and his health is low and he hears crumching footsteps approaching. he assumes its the iceologer coming for him but instead he hears âgrian?â and he can make out blurry figures before he passes out and wakes up wrapped up in a blanket infromt of a fire. (whoevers managed to find and rescue him is up to you :D) (Shade's notes: the person who found him was Doc, and he took him back to Ren's cabin to warm up)
- anonymous
- Scar isn't the only one changed by the time he reaches spawn. Impulse drags himself up onto land finally, breathing heavily, and there's something different about him. Sharper teeth. The shadow he casts more inconsistent. Always faintly smells like saltwater. And his eyes glow faintly, a pale washed-out non-color like light at the bottom of the ocean. Something suggesting nonhuman geometry. Something sleeping that had to reawaken to escape. ~@betweenlands
- Eventually, Etho spawns in a jungle. By a complete stroke of luck, he sees the smoke of a campfire. Tango and Zedaph are happy to see someone- anyone- else. Especially when it turns out Etho somehow managed to get the coordinates of a certain Ocean Temple. Sure, it's far, but they can make it. After all, there's an 'I' in team ZIT, and they aren't leaving him behind.
- @/rayveewrites
- (summary of a couple different writing peices) After escaping the Guardian Temple, Impulse set out to find any other Hermit he could. He has gained some unnerving qualities and abilities that he doesn't really understand, but he's trying not to think about that right now. After defeating several mobs he should not have been able to defeat with his level of progress, he now possesses one Totem of Undying. He met up with Zedaph, Tango, and Etho on their way to find him. They are now hosting him at their campsite and are glad he is safe, but Etho is unnerved and suspicious of his more unsettling attributes.
- I had sent this idea right after the inbox closed, rip. But anyways - what if mumbo ended up befriending the evokers and pilligers in the woodland mansion? Of course, it wouldnt be like that at first- the constant death to the axes and swords and magic, the growls and yelling and cursed glares. But he always came back to work on the redstone and evoker magic in a desperate attempt to contact the others. Eventually, the evoker stops sending their vex, and the pilligers stop swinging their weapons
- @/therainofsweetmelody
- (Scattered AU) After Scar gives in to the Vex. Bdubs is barely conscious to begin with; dying to the void so many times really took it out of him in every way possible. But when he is awake, what he sees makes him scared. Scar with faded, cold eyes. Scar with transparent wings, gone in a blink. Scar being able to do things he shouldn't. Scar says it's to get them out of there, but every day he gets a little paler, a little colder, and Bdubs grows more worried. - M
- @/petrichomeraki
- Perhaps xb and Iskall are on opposite ends of the same desert? On one side, high sand dunes covering miles, with a single desert temple and isolated desert village hidden amongst the cliffs and hills. On the other, the deep flatt valley next to a Mesa mountain, flat nothingness stretching far past the horizon. It would still take quite a long time for them to find each other, but at least there's a change they could meet... and, perhaps, over that mountain, cub could be somewhere in the mesa
-@/therainofsweetmelody
- Iskall and Xb eventually find each other in the desert. Sunburned, dehydrated, and sand-blasted, they hug when they first meet despite not knowing each other well. And they try their best not to die, because what are the chances they'll ever find each other again? Two heads are better than one for finding their way to the rest of the hermits.
-@/basaltdragon
- Its probably a week or so of falling before bdubs managed to move enough to finally see the end islands just barely rendering in the distance. As someone had mentioned, perhaps he became so hopeful that he missed his mark, hitting the ground with a sickening splat just blocks beside scar. It took bdubs almost another week to get forward enough to see the islands again. This time, he landed right on scar... sending the vex back to his spawn several islands away, and leaving bdubs alone for days
-@/therainofsweetmelody
- While Bdubs and Scar are more than happy to have found each other again, their moments together are tense and filled with gaps of uncomfortable silence. There's an unspoken agreement hanging over them: Scar doesn't question Bdubs' frozen and frail state, and Bdubs pretends not to notice how Scar's skin has gotten pale and ghost-like, or how he glances behind him often, like he's being followed by a shadow only he can see. Though of course, Bdubs does notice. The whole server does. Grian wakes up in a cold sweat from a dream of Scar's ruthless attempts to destroy the mycelium resistance. Cub feels his own ties to the vex magic acting up once again, now worrying more than ever what Scar may have encountered in this broken world. Even Mumbo's evoker friend begins acting different, though Mumbo can't seem to determine whether it's out of excitement or fear...
-@/crows-in-space
- Scattered AU After the Wels meeting Hels Headcanon I imagine maybe Hels offers a deal to insure his safety on the Hermitcraft Server in exchange for Wels safety in the Nether. Wels very reluctantly agrees adding to the deal that Hels wonât hurt anyone. To bad he didnât notice his Evil counterpart cross his fingers while shaking on it.
- anonymous
- Scattered AU: ďżź TFC spawns on the main end island, dragon and all. With out proper preparation heâs been stuck in a death loop since the worldâs start. Sometimes, right before he dies, he wishes that the janky respon would de-age his body; heâs not the agile young man who could take down the dragon solo anymore.
- @liagrace-b
- Scattered!Grian canât fly. His normal down-featherly wings look like every feather has been plucked off, leaving the very sensitive skin open to the elements. But the worldâs code itself has altered the physics of the wings themselfs. Grian can feel how much heavier the wing structure sits on his back, meaning that they couldnât let him glide even if fully feathered. Poor Grian hasnât survived the freezing cold long enough to know if his feathers would grow back with enough time.

- EX somehow gets into the scattered mix. Spawning in the Deep Dark, the exiled admin is terrified, and will stop at nothing to find his brother. đ
- (Scattered AU) Scar and Bdubs, after months(?) of travel, make it to the Ender Dragon's island. Bdubs is scared for both of their lives; he is in no condition to fight, he can't even STAND, and he's so, so afraid to die and be condemned to falling forever in the void once again. Scar says nothing, only gently setting his friend down behind an obsidian pillar before his skin goes completely translucent, his eyes clouding white. (Paraphrased: Scar defeats the dragon, him and Bdubs meet up with TFC)
- @/petrichormeraki
- the plugins do not work, so singleplayer sleep is out. Beds do reset spawn point, so the Hermits who spawned in a place where they can get them would do well to make several and use them as checkpoints along their journey (and hope that they don't get broken, especially for those who had to escape death loops....)
- (my answer to some questions)
- Those trapped in death loops change, adapting until they aren't harmed anymore or till they escape. After all, what are players if not adaptable?
- @permafrost782
- Xisuma blames his broken helmet for being unable to admin, as some sort of comfort. But there is no comfort there. The truth is, not even Joe, Tango, Cub, or Hypno can access the chat, can even begin to run commands to fix what has gone wrong. If they could, they would have teleported everyone to 0,0 and reset the worldspawn. Those partnered with any of the admins feel a certain kind of hopelessness. Those without feel a different kind of hopeless.
- @/basaltdragon
- To add to the scattered AU: Though i had seen someone explain the void connecting to the end so Bdubs gets out of that fall, i had the thought of this; What if eventually the void loops around with the overworld's sky, so he's basically in a continuous loop if falling to his death and respawning in the void until he finally is lucky enough in his falls to get over water and live. After that he just has to stay alive otherwise he returns to the void..
-@aetosofvalla
- Somewhere, in the back of Scarâs vex-addled mind, thereâs the worry of Jellie. Where is she? Is she with another hermit? Did she spawn in with another village again and will he have to find her again? -đŁ
- (Scattered AU) Cub and Scar have been linked by the Vex ever since their deal. One day, Cub's iron armor burns against his skin all at once, and through the searing pain is a horrifying realization that Scar has given in. - M
-@/petrichormeraki
- After a while Cub gets the resources to build a nether portal, but then he finds his portal has connected with someone else's. He finds himself lost again, without access to the farms he's built or the resources he's gathered, but at least he knows a friend is close.
- anonymous
- The End duo come across another end city. Thereâs a boat at the far end. Scar flies up on delicate vex wings to get the spare elytra and other loot. Theyâve been walking for far too long. He floats down (as if he had the slow-falling effect. Thereâs only health in the brewing stand. Bdubsâ worry for Scar increases) with an extra set of trousers, boots, an elytra, the potions and a pic. Scar offers the elytra to Bdubs. He refuses. Itâll take longer to walk, but he never wants to fall againđŁ
- Mumbo gets caught up in redstone work and doesn't bother trying to find anyone else. So when another hermit finally finds him, he has to stop his evoker friend from attacking. Whether or not he's successful is another thing.
- Anonymous
- (Scattered AU) Consider. When Doc finds Grian on the mountain peak while exploring the terrain, a message sends through everyone's communicators. <Grian was blown up by a Creeper>. Doc doesn't get a death message that time, despite both of them suffering the consequences of a surprised Doc in a server where mob-oriented hermits are more volatile than they should be. Doc doesn't go looking for other hermits again after that, and Grian is shocked into numbness at the dawning realization that his monster friends might be so much worse off than he thought. - M
- @/petrichormeraki
A summary of where things stand so far
- scattered au pog!!! hypno is in a seemingly endless flowery field. it was nice at first, but there's no trees, no food, and hardly any water. the sun is so hot. flowers aren't filling. hypno thought he liked being alone.
- Anonymous
- Mumbo doesnât succumb to the magic of the mansion like perhaps Cub and Scar have, but that doesnât mean he isnât entirely unaffected- his skin becomes a little more washed out, instincts a little more violent- he certainly canât go into villages anymore, otherwise the iron golem will smash him to bits
- @/fluffy-papaya
- With Scar using Vex magic, the Vex turn their attention to Cub, trying to tempt him at every turn. More then once he's found his mask in one of his chests, staring up at him, or awoken in a cold sweat from a dream full of vex. So far, he's resisted the temptation. Wether that lasts is another question entirely.
-@/bat-connoisseur
- Maybe eventualy hypno realises Even flowers would need water to grow, or that the bees must have a bee hive somewhere around here, and the bee hive is always connected to a tree(I think thats the case in Minecraft). So he tries to find where the buzzing comes from and follow the bees around.
- @/ciaravixen
- cleo bases a lot of her identity around being a zombie, right? she probably isnt too happy to be cured. she probably cries all the time it takes her to heal. it had to be done, but that doesnt mean she has to like it. and she doesnt, not one little bit.
- Anonymous
- that ask about Mumbo not bothering to look for anyone got me thinking.... Mumbo getting too caught up in his work with the evokers to look for the others. Mumbo making friends with the illagers. Mumbo knowing that it's completely reasonable that nobody has found him yet, but still getting the creeping feeling that no one is coming for him. Mumbo spending all his time with his new friends because, after all, they're here, and the hermits aren't... All this to say that, when the hermits eventually do find him, he might not be very inclined to leave...
- @/crows-in-space
- At one point, Mumbo's new friends are just...watching him try to do his stuff, observing. Mumbo's getting increasingly frustrated when ne of the evokers watching him breaks off and hands him something. At first he thinks its a totem of undying, its shaped like one, but its strange. Made out of iron, and its eyes are diamonds instead of emeralds. Then it starts to burn his hands and he passes out from the pain. When he wakes, its gone and he moves on, a bit more wary of his 'friends'. Maybe it was a mean joke, or some kinda of strange inhiation for the mansion maybe Except next time he's frustrated, he thows his hands up annoyed and fangs rise out of the ground around him and snap at the air. He cries out, confused, before looking at his hands which almost look like they've been painted with gray paints. it wont come off. He seems mentally the same but now he starts to experiment with his new found abilities. Maybe they can help with his redstone or even find others.

- after trying a poisonous flower, hypno respawns back in the field. this time, he tries walking in a different direction. maybe this is the way out.
- Anonymous
- The flowers in Hypnoâs area are just so perfect... blooming dandelions donât lose their seeds when he brushes against them, petals that are crushed underfoot quickly regain their shape- and if his mind wasnât so affected, he wouldâve noticed the flower he picked was quickly replaced by another
- @/fluffy-papaya
- The Moobloom has one unique feature: The ability to leave behind flowers in its path... that is, the ability to alter the world around it simply by walking. These flower plains are not particularly large, maybe eight or so chunks across in each direction, but glitched world generation spawned in a herd of mooblooms, and all they've been doing is walking around causing little distortions, one on top of the other. From the inside, where Hypno is standing, the plains go on forever. The air is thick with buttercup pollen that's slowly dulling his sense of space and time. He has to pull it together, somehow. Force the world to recognise that he's walking forwards in a straight line. Or he'll be wandering in circles forever...
- @/draconic-dreams
- another hermit- maybe beef? sees the edge of a deep, fragrant field. on the horizon, not far away, is hypno, walking in circles. he calls but he cannot hear beef. something tells the man not to go into that field- at least, not without a flint and steel. (Shade note: Beef and Joe saved Hypno and are currently sheltering him (unconscious) in their spawn sanctuary)
- anonymous
- Maybe if they went through the exit portal and it glitched but good. They don't think about the fact it should send them back to their spawns, Scar feels something at the back of his mind that very much isn't him tell him to change his mind, stay in this place becuase they'll just be trapped if they try to leave, but Bdubs grabs his arm and jumps in before Scar can say anything. For a second, blessed silence, Scar's mind feels clear and normal. then they show up at world spawn and scare theother
- anonymous
(Shade note: people at the spawn haven now include Joe, Beef, Hypno, TFC, Scar, and Bdubs)
- Once Keralis and Cleo are healed up, the village gang starts going to 0,0 to try to meet up with others. On the way, they find a flower forest (potentially the same one Hypnoâs in). They find some mooblooms and fall in love (this was def not done bc I want some fluff, nope not at all /s) -đŁ
- Mumbo receives a set of robes from his evoker friend. Heâs loathe to get rid of his suit, but at the same time... well, all the better to fit in, right? This is a glitch and fluke anyway, and he might as well blend in if the illagers ever turn on him. Thatâs it. Thatâs the only reason he tosses the suit jacket into the fireplace, donât be silly. It has nothing to do with the feeling that he just doesnât want to leave...
- anonymous
- Iâm imagining Shattered Impulse looking like the Fishman from Shape of Water + the teeth of an Angler fish and the ability to unhinge his jaw. Poor guy probably gets mistaken for a glitched mob when someone finds him.
- @/fandomrecycling
- Yes hello it's me again. After the pollen spells breaks for Hypno (and whoever else might have tried to save him beforehand...), he notices he's a little different. he can't always control how he moves, he doesn't like eye contact, and he takes an even bigger interest in his, well, interests than before. Basically Tourettic Hypno go brrr (I am tourettic so feel free to ask me clarification!)
- @/fireflower-dusk
- I don't think Keralis has been mentioned except for being in the nether so I would like to contribute that he spawned in that soul sand and skeleton biome that has almost nothing in it.
- anonymous
- Mumbo, being hundreds of thousands of blocks out from spawn, is the last hermit to be found. Even after the glitch was fixed, Mumbo was so caught up in his research and new abilities that he no longer felt it mattered. He'd been apart from the hermits for well over a year now; and a long time ago he gave up hope that they'd come back for him. This was, of course, until he woke up one morning to a disturbance outside. When he goes to check the source of the racket, he's left frozen in place at the sight of Iskall on his mansion's doorstep. And at the end of it all, despite Mumbo telling himself that he was better alone, Iskall's hand on his shoulder, reassuring that "Yes, I'm here, yes, I'm real, and no, I'm not leaving, you spoon." Is enough for Mumbo to break, clinging to Iskall as if he'd disappear at any moment, murmuring "I'm sorry" over and over like a broken record. -đ§¸
- Maybe after Wels and Hels make their deal, and Wels gets some gold gear and a respawn anchor to click, Hels shows him how to create a portal to Hels the place to which from there, they think they can get into the overworld. The only catch being that to get in to Hels the place you need to focus all of you emotions onto pure hatred and anger, but the question is could Wels do it?
- Anonymous
- Hels taunts Wels about how no one came to get him, and plants ideas about how this was done on purpose, about how he's the only one to spawn in the nether for a reason. He tells him the hermits want him gone. And Wels of course becomes angry but he becomes angry at Hels for trying to tell him his friends didn't care about him. He's also angry at himself though, maybe for thinking he hasn't done enough to make his friends want to keep him around. He is never mad at the hermits though, never them
- TFC's concerned. Even if he thinks it's great he found Bdubs and Scar, the latter shouldn't be able to just kill the ender dragon alone. TFC doesn't know much about Scar but the man can barely fly usually, why did he turn into a vex, anyway? vexes don't exist in the end. TFC need to ask, at least to make sure he's ok, but everytime he tries he stops in his track once the cold, icy blue eyes stare back at him. devoid of the usual warmth his green ones have.

- (Scatter AU) Saw someone mention the other ops on the server and had a thought: Tango is a programmer with a specialty in game programming. Heâs probably sitting at the campfire thinking of every single way the game must have been corrupted to cause this many problems. If he could just get into the code, maybe he could fix some of these problems. Iâll bet heâs driving himself a little crazy thinking of everything that could be done to fix the world and not being able to do anything...

- Cub was lucky, he thinks. Seeing the many death messages in chat, he's torn between gratitude that he's ended up with what almost looks like a normal spawn, and worry for his friends. After gathering enough resources to stay reasonably safe, he knows what he has to do next. So when he encounters Xb, he eventually suggests he takes some resources and a bed he's salvaged from the abandoned village and heads towards 0,0, hoping there'll be someone there. (1/3)But as for him... well, there's an obvious place to head as far as he can see, for someone with a safe enough spawn point and the ability to gather resources. A place where he knows for sure he'll find someone else, someone who needs help. After all, unless this world is even more messed up that it seems, there's only one place where a player would be killed by the Ender dragon, and he knows exactly how to get there. (2/3) (Shade note: Him and xB were not successful in finding the Hermit who the mystery portal belonged to. They must have died in the Nether and returned to their spawn point. - Maybe one of the reasons Cleo doesn't like being a human as much is because she had chronic pain (particularly in her back) when she was alive, and when she gets cured after meeting up with False, Stress, and Keralis, her back pain comes back (along with all the other pains of being alive)

- Whenever Etho spawns, wherever Etho spawns, he takes it upon himself to tell each and every Hermit he can find to head towards 0,0. He's not sure why, but he believes that if they get everyone together, they can figure out how to fix the broken world. If there aren't any Hermits in sight, he'll make a sign out of whatever's avalible before going searching. It's a complete pain to try and build anything coherent out of sand and cactus, but he has to try. He has to get everyone together. It's their best hope. It's their only hope.Even Evil X. Even Hels. Everyone. He doesn't care about past grievances. They need to get through this. And their only option is to do it together. (Shade note: He doesn't stay with Team ZIT for long. He probably dies trying to protect them from something, knowing that it will only result in him finding another Hermit anyway. Even though he himself isn't making any progress toward the origin, he counts it as a victory every time he can guide one of his friends just a little bit closer.)
- Doc Ren and Grian himself thought that him being found and safe would fix everything right? yea no he has horrible fevor, he struggles to retain warmth depsite 2 feet from a fire, he's tired and has a hard time stay awake becuase on the mt he slept alot, he barley eats cuz he cant hold too much down rn. He cant stand being alone or he'll start to panic, ands he's just trying to ignore the new fox fetures he has desperately when he's aware enough to do. Doc and Ren have a hard time ahead of them.

- Mumbo was trying to make a machine with redstone and evoker magic to contact the hermits right?so what if he did build the machine ad at first his only way to get the magic was to go annoy the evoker hoping he would try to hit him and instead hit the machine to power it. Plan backfired so many times because of the vex killing him before. So when Mumbo becomes apprentice he wants to try power the machine himself but it breaks because he can't control how much magic he uses yet.time to study magic

- Etho dies with the Zit and ends up back in it. Next he ends up in X's spawn, there's no one around but he finds the bloody tunnel X punched himself, and races down it to see in the distance Xisuma and Jevin in a cave.He calls out to them, only to get overwhelmed by zombies that just spawned, He manages to gurgle out 0,0 before he dies again. (He's now determined to be the messenger of meetings, even willing to die on purpose to find them all). After that? Ren's old spawn, now he has to track ren

- Mumbo having to learn how to use the magic, the evoker will probably also try to teach him how to summon the vex, even if Mumbo really wants to just focus on the magic and not the evocation. What if he's able to summon Scar since he gave his name to the vex? just by accident and Mumbo gets so startled by Scar's new appearance that he immediately interrupts the evocation and makes Scar dissappear. Scar reappears where he was before confused cause for a moment he saw Mumbo?did he allucinante??

- Once Wels and Helssknight are in Hels the have to sneak around a lot. Hels isnât as popular there as he had previously boasted, thatâs why he had tried to take over the over world. Cue heart to heart talk before a Hels version of another hermit cuts them off. (Can you pick the Hermit Iâm kinda stuck here)

- Iskall must have not even known the direction he was walking from his desert spawn, so its purely by luck he ended up finding the mansion mumbo resides in- his cybernetic eye is fixed almost instantly upon his arrival by mumbo and iskall feels his hope fades as he realises theyâre /so/ far from the hermits. I also guess he must be worried about whats happening to his friend right before him, mumbo wouldnt willingly give into the vex and evoker magic right? 1/2 But he isnât so sure anymore, the days at the mansion are quiet and uncomfortable as Iskall has to be wary of the illagers that walk the halls, mumbo assures him of his safety, but theres no light in his eyes - he doubts the illagers welcomed mumbo at first- The usual banter isnât there at all, its dead silence as mumbo keeps on working and Iskall can see how paler his skin becomes and the blue scars that litter his body 2/2

- Etho died and respawned at the true spawn once. Beef was elated to see him and was afraid if he let him go, he would disappear. He didnât want to lose his friend again. In the end, he does, he was actually with Etho when he dies, and he never lets the feeling go.

- aww poor etho! At least he's okay with this new role as messenger. Now i can just imagen he ends up at Ren's spawn and manages to track the man, nearly dying but staying alive and- thats a house in the distance! He goes over and nearly runs into Doc, who invites him in surprised and they catch each other up, their spawns and Etho's situation. They're overjoyed to hear about the others and Ethos glad to see them realtivly okay. Grian's condition is worrying however, changed and still weak (1) They agree they need to start heading to 0,0 but Ren is nervous about leaving safety, Doc wants them safe, and with Grian still sick and weak from laying in snow for weeks it'll take a bit until he's stable enough to travel (he'll probs have to be carried anyways). Etho stays for a few days at their insistence for rest, he wants to keep going there is more hermits out there he hasn't found, they are insistent that he take time to recover. Then, he lets himself die. Off to the next hermit! (2)

- This is for the very very beginning, but maybe before False meets up with Cleo, she spawns in a warm ocean biome. Coral structures fill the water around her, and tropical fish dart between them. It would be almost peaceful, were it not for the fact that False was encased in a cage of coral.Itâs a gamble every time. She has to try and smash her way out of her colorful prison before the tide rolls in, slow and steady water rising up her body and over her head. The water makes her movements clumsy and arduous as she tries to free herself, racing against time to escape the awful tide. (Pt 2) OH SORRY I HAD AN IDEA (this is from the coral False anon)What if Stress and False both spawn in that biome and they have to try and help each other out before the tide comes in?? Added angst if one of the times one manages to escape but the other doesnât

- Admins log, day: âŹâŹâŹ I've finally managed to find my way to the drip stone caves, weirdly I think I may have a good connection down here, I'll try to contact the others, if they haven't forgotten about me yet. (Shade note: Far away in the woodland mansion, Mumbo rubs his eyes and marks down another failure on his latest contraption. How long will it be until he can generate a signal? He has no way of knowing that, for a single moment, it worked. He stopped checking his communicator a long time ago, so he doesn't see the single message until much later: <Xisuma> can anyone hear me?)
- At some point Etho cycles round to Doc's spawn. His friend is long gone but there are five creepers in formation watching him. He hasn't run into General Spaz since he left Chocolate Island.âIt'ssss been a while, Essssshoâ the General says. âLet'sssss make a wagerâThe General reaches out for a handshake... it seems the glitch finally gave him a pair of arms.(ancient Etho lore go brrrr)

- Based on a little piece of this ask where it was mentioned that Hypno passed out only three steps outside the flower biome, I start to wonder, how long was he wandering in circles without food? Why did he collapse so immediately? Was the biome itself perhaps sustaining him? Keeping him "healthy" (if you could call it that) and alive? COULD he have starved to death if he hadn't been pulled out? Or would he have just kept walking? And walking. And walking...

- An idea focusing on evil xisuma. He ended up spawning on the nether roof, stuck with nothing but mushrooms and bedrock as far as the eye can see. No communication, no water, no way out. He can probably eat the mushrooms, at the very least.... but there may be some bad side effects from it. It's disheartening and lonely up there, dying from starvation over. And over. And over. At one point, etho may have spawned there as well... but of course, he wouldnt last long. Condemned to endless roof...

Up. He needs to go up. He spawned too deep in the world, and though he'd heard of underground spawns there was no way, no way in the world that being so deep under was normal. Every cave he crawled up either came to a dead end or opened into a massive, mob-filled cavern, and somehow he still hadn't found even half a mineshaft. He could spend hours upon hours painfully clawing his way through the stone, but he keeps convincing himself it'll be faster to find a cave that leads to the surface. The pounding heartbeat of a warden stills rings in his ears, an ever-present reminder of his terrible luck. If only he could get some wood. Just a few planks, some torches. Anything. It's almost as if the stone doesn't want him to leave.

Magic misfits! Did I update the masterpost specifically because of this fic? yes absolutely. A busy day for Scar, featuring TFC and some good olâ Scar appreciation :]
The start of a new season was always interesting.
While TFC didnât enjoy having to start from scratch every year or so; having gotten used to the comforts of late season riches, he did love the sheer amount of interaction that came with a new season. TFC was content to hear gossip about the othersâ shenanigans while he stuck to what he was best at: mining. Some of the others called it cheating to use his earthbending down in the tunnels, but he called it cheating to be able to shapeshift, or use magic crystals, or any of the other crazy things the other hermits could do, so it evened out.
When he wasnât down in his mine, TFC watched as all the other hermits scrambled to make the most impressive buildings and contraptions in as little time as possible. Many of his servermates placed more importance on finishing their creations than actually gathering necessities such as tools and armour.Â
As if to prove this observation, the Boatem village appeared on the other side of the nether portal, populated with structures that were much too large considering it had only been three weeks since they arrived in this world. There was also a⌠tree? At least thatâs what it looked like; a thin oak tree stretching up past the clouds and out of view. Looks like Mumbo and Grian were up to no good already.
âTFC! Up here!â Scarâs voice came from somewhere above TFCâs head, and he looked up to see the wizard (although he no longer wore his robe and hat) standing on a balcony extending from a truly massive wagon, one hand on the railing and the other extended above his head, waving enthusiastically at TFC.
He climbed the ladder up the side of the wagon, entering a sparse storage room. Knowing Scar, he either hadnât bothered to move in yet or lost all of his things in a cave somewhere. Despite his powerful crystal magic, Scar still managed to die more than any other hermit, so the second option was more likely.
âWell hello there! Welcome to my humble abode, please take a seat.â Scar led TFC to a balcony, where he gestured towards a table and two folding chairs. Scar sat down, crossing his legs and folding his arms in his lap. âSo, what brings you to our little village today?â
TFC raised an eyebrow at the question, confusion evident in his voice. âBecause you invited me? We were supposed to have tea today.âÂ
Scar jolted in his seat, then proceeded to scramble out of said seat. âIâll be right back! I have to go⌠feed Jellie!â This was quite obviously a lie seeing as Jellie hadnât returned from her between seasons interdimensional travels yet. TFCâs laughter chased Scar into the wagon, where he frantically prepared the tea that he was totally planning on making because he definitely remembered his plans for the day.Â
After about five minutes of mildly concerning crashing sounds, Scar returned with two steaming mugs of tea (decorated with cat faces, of course) and a plate of chocolate chip cookies - Stressâ recipe if TFC wasnât mistaken. They sat in comfortable silence for a few minutes, appreciating the tea and cookies.Â
âSo, how are you holding up this season, Scar?â TFC took a sip of green tea, looking out at the horizon.
âOh you know, the usual. I donât have my village anymore, but the magical misfits still come seeking my help.â He brought a cookie to his mouth and bit off half of it. âNot that I mind helping people!â He swallowed his mouthful before continuing. âXB was here last week convinced that he left his coat in season seven, but turns out it just ended up in one of Joeâs boxes.â He chuckled to himself, wiping crumbs off of his jacket as TFC stared at the distant ocean, lost in thought.
TFC broke the silence that had fallen. âYouâre a good man, yâknow that?â The wizard in question looked at TFC in surprise. He was used to âthank youâs, but the personal compliment caught him off guard. âYouâve created a safe space for folks from all sorts of places, and youâve saved quite a few of them from bad people.âÂ
Scar looked down, smiling at his cup of tea. He spoke quietly, a departure from his usual boisterousness. âThanks TFC, that means a lot.â
-
Scar was in the middle of catching TFC up on what he missed from day one when something red and very fast crashed into the balcony. The something in question turned out to be Grian, shimmering wings protruding from his back. Something must have been wrong, since winged hermits tended to refrain from flying early in the season, in the name of fairness.
âScar we need your- Oh heeey, I didnât know you had company over!â He leaned on the railing, his urgency replaced with a forced cheerfulness as he (quite obviously) pretended nothing was wrong. What was probably supposed to be an easygoing smile stretched too wide, and his voice was more high pitched than usual. âHowâs it goinâ?â
Scar, completely oblivious, responded excitedly. âOh, I was just telling TFC here about our adventure in the geode with Cleo!â
Grianâs uncomfortable smile grew wider, and his eyebrows furrowed. âThat sounds great, do you think youâll be done anytime soon?â
âOh well, Iâm not too sure. It depends on when we finish all of these cookies.â
âOh thatâs just wonderful,â Grianâs wings started to twitch behind him, âdid you make those yourself?â
Scar took a breath, preparing for a tangent when TFC cut in, showing the poor fairy some mercy. âAlright Grian, out with it. Whatâs wrong?â Scar stared at Grian, somehow surprised that this wasnât a completely ordinary visit.
Grian let out a long sigh. âThank you so much TFC.â He turned his gaze to Scar. âWe need a little help with curse breaking.â
Scar set down his mug and gave Grian his full attention, preparing himself for whatever strange curse one of the fairies had set on some poor hermit. âReally? How are you two cursing people already? It hasnât even been a month!â
Grianâs tangent was accompanied by wild hand gestures that made it difficult to follow what he was saying. âWell, Pearl came up behind Mumbo and spooked him, he shouted something about not sneaking up on him, and now whenever he turns his back on her she teleports directly in front of him.â Grian looked nervously over his shoulder in the direction of Mumboâs van. TFC followed his gaze, and burst into laughter again.
Mumbo was standing a few feet away from his campfire, spinning in circles and doubling over in laughter as Pearl kept popping up in front of him.Â
Scar pushed himself up from his chair, TFC followed suit. The pair headed to the door while Grian flew back down, Scar giving TFC a sort of briefing. âAlright, letâs go figure out what exactly Mumbo did before Pearl starts feeling particularly vengeful.â
-
It took two hours and a lot of trial and error (with TFC giving supremely unhelpful tips), but eventually Pearl could stand behind Mumbo again. At some point Scar accidentally applied the effect to both Grian and Mumbo, and he had to beg the two not to create a space time anomaly. But it was all fixed now, and TFC was sure Pearlâs revenge would be swift and cruel.
Scar made his way back up to the balcony, and the two continued their conversation. It was a good thing Scar had enchanted his mugs, something he had done back in season seven after his drinks kept getting abandoned and going cold.
After a few hours of peace (other than both Mumbo and Grianâs bases abruptly flipping upside down while the boys were inside), the pair was interrupted again by a voice behind them.
âHowdy, Scar. Oh, and howdy to you as well, TFC!â
Neither of them had heard Joe coming, so Scar jumped about a foot in the air while TFC nearly spat out his tea. It turned out that Cleo was there as well, looking quite a bit angrier than Joe, although that wasnât too uncommon.
âOh my goodness, Joe you scared the life out of me!â Scar held a hand to his chest and caught his breath as Cleo got right to business.
âSorry about that Scar,â her voice was flat, and it was safe to assume that she was not, in fact, sorry about that. âBut we have an emergency. Itâs completely Joeâs fault, he-â
Joe smoothly stepped in front of his companion as he cut her off, âI wouldnât say itâs entirely my fault, old magic is a fickle thing-â
Cleo shoved Joe aside, stepping in front once again. âHe revived my leg!â She raised a foot off the ground and gestured at it with both hands.
Sure enough, both TFC and Scar looked down to see that Cleoâs right leg was significantly more flesh-coloured than the left, restored to what it presumably once was.Â
Scarâs lingering panic was instantly replaced by an amused grin as he gestured to the leg in question. âCleo, why donât you just get your leg reinfected? Itâs not like zombies are hard to come by.â
The pair stood still, just blinking. (Completely in sync, it was eerie)Â
Cleo rounded on Joe and punched at his shoulder just as he raised a hand to deflect her fist. âHow did you not think of that Joe?! I thought you knew everything there was to know about-â She gestured wildly about for a moment. âEverything?!â
âShouldnât you be some sort of zombie expert by now? How is that my responsibility?â The argument continued as the pair went back into the wagon and down the ladder. As they walked off, presumably to go find a cave, something occurred to TFC. He cupped his hands around his mouth to yell down at them.
âCleo!â She turned around. âDonât use Joe as bait!âÂ
She snapped her finger like a defeated cartoon villain, as Joe turned to face her and presumably gave her grief for this evil plot.
-
It was only about five minutes after Cleo and Joe left (preceded by twenty minutes of arguing) that the next problem arrived, as it often did, in the form of Zedaph, Impulse, and Tango arriving on the shore of the village. TFC found this odd, seeing as how everyone was now connected by nether portals, but he assumed there would be an explanation shortly, even if it didnât make a lick of sense.
Impulse shouted up from the ground, the three of them clustered near the front of the wagon. âTFC, we need your help!â Well that was a surprise, not many people asked for his assistance other than Scar. âWe made an oopsie and Cleo said we could find you here!â
As every hermit knew, âoopsieâ was a versatile word with these three. It could mean anything between making a minor mistake in a build to banishing Impulse for the fifth time. âWhat happened this time?â TFC stood up and made his way down the ladder, since shouting down at them wasnât very efficient and they didnât seem inclined to come up.
Impulse started twisting his hands together while Zedaph and Tango tried their best to look innocent behind him. It didnât work. âWeeell, Tango wanted a terraforming job done around his base, so we made a little deal for it.âÂ
Oh boy. Not much good came out of magical deals, yet the other hermits continued to make them with each other. Demonic deals were especially tricky since the demon didnât have precise control over their end of the deal, not that it stopped these three. âTango offered me his first beacon in exchange for the job, and it turns out that a beacon is worth a lot more than I thought- itâs probably easier if we show you.â
âQuick FYI guys: firsts are very valuable in deals! It applies to you as well Impulse, not just the fae!â Scar called helpfully from his still seated position on the balcony.
-
They all ended up going over to Tangoâs house/ shop, which was literally buried in a mound of dirt and stone, along with about three quarters of Bdubsâ giant moon house. That explains why they didnât use the nether.Â
The earth was offended after being touched by demonic magic, but after a long negotiation TFC managed to convince it that Impulse meant no harm, and it was happy to return to its prior state. Tango was mildly annoyed that he would have to do the terraforming himself and give Impulse a beacon, but it was better than the wrath he would have faced from Bdubs.
By the time TFC and Scar returned to the Boatem village, the sun was starting to dip below the horizon. While TFC admired the beauty of it, Scar just looked disappointed.Â
âIâm sorry.â
TFC raised an eyebrow at the wizard, a frown making its way onto his face. âWhat do you mean youâre sorry? Did you do something to the tea?âÂ
Despite TFCâs attempted joke, Scar still stared at his perfectly polished shoes. âThis was supposed to be a nice relaxing day to catch up, and people were just showing up left and right. I mean, we hardly got to spend any time together! Maybe I shouldnât invite people over with all this wizard stuff going on.â
âBut we did spend time together.â TFCâs rough hand landed on Scarâs shoulder, the latter looking up at the former, startled by the contact.
âWell yeah we had tea for a while but-â
TFC had to cut off Scarâs rambling or he would never get to his point. âYes we had tea, but Iâm talking about the rest of the day.â Scar seemed genuinely confused at this. âI helped you un-curse Pearl,â he did air quotes on the word âhelped,â âWe watched Joe and Cleo argue together, and you came with us to fix Tangoâs house.â Of course he didnât do much other than laugh at Tangoâs misfortune, but it was the thought that counted. âJust âcause it didnât go to plan doesnât mean I didnât have a good time.â After all, not much went according to plan on the hermitcraft server.
Now Scar was smiling. âSo I didnât ruin the day with magical misfits?â
âNot at all.â TFC reached for his mug and emptied it one last time, then stretched before heading out. âBut now I gotta get going. I donât like my chances against the mobs with my crappy iron gear.â
Scar waved once more as TFC disappeared into the nether portal. âGoodnight TFC! And thanks again, for everything!â
TFC smiled as he made his way through the nether tunnels back home. Scar did a lot more for the hermits than he realized, allowing them to be free with their magic in a way they couldnât back home, TFC included. Heâd created a home for all sorts of âmagic misfitsâ as Scar put it, and he performed an invaluable service, whether he realized it or not.
Heâs a good kid. Just needs some reminding every once in a while.Â

Piers playing Minecraft with the boys/trainers
Idk, this compels me, letâs do this shit Â
Piers and The Boys Playing Minecraft
Leon is hosting and he invites everyone he can to play with him. Piers shows up last and chuckles at the absolute shit show
Leon: WE. ARE. SUPPOSED. TO. CREATE. SHELTER. Piers: Whatâs with the hole? Leon: Raihan is digging straight down Raihan: Found a fucking cave. What have you found besides flowers? Leon: We need to create a shelter before nightfall- Piers: Mate, how far did you dig? Raihan: I found iron already if that helps- Piers: It doesnât- Bede: I found a mountain top that would make a good base Gordie: No, Zombies can climb mountains. We need to make a treehouse- Piers: Whatever Gordieâs doinâ Iâm followinâ Gordie: Hell yeah, roomies Leon: We are supposed to live TOGETHER- Piers: I mean, we share the world. Why bother sharinâ a roof- Bede: Is no one going to help me build the mansion? Piers: Iâm making a treehouse- Gordie: Well come on then! Piers: Mate, I JUST spawned in, I only found Leon cause he and Rai are RIGHT here. Where are you? Gordie: If you look in the distance youâll see a dark wood forest- Piers: Those are bad news, you want to make a home there? Gordie: Itâll be fun Piers: Canât argue with that, Iâm cominâ Piers wanders off and Leon is looking down Raihanâs hole he dug. He suddenly falls in, hitting the ground and making Raihan laugh. Leon doesnât say a word. At the same time, Bede is attacked by a bear and panics, falling off the mountain. When their deaths pop up Piers shakes his head, Gordie snickers.
Piers: What happened? Raihan: Leon fell in my hole- Leon: Please donât say it like that- Piers: Damn, at least buy him dinner first- Gordie: That needs to be all over the internet- Piers: Pretty sure it already is- Leon: Did you pick up my stuff? Raihan: Yeah, I got it Bede: Oh please, donât all come help at once. Piers: We werenât. Gordie, finish up the floors, I got the ceiling- Bede: I WAS BEING ATTACKED Gordie: Yeah, Normally you see Iâd give a shit but weâre almost done with a SICK loft- Piers: Howâd this sheep get in our treehouse? Gordie: Sheâs our pet now Pier: Naminâ her Marnie- Bede: Leon since Iâm here, we can build a house together Leon: Great! Once Raihan dies we can get started Raihan: Found Diamond! Piers: Pft, there goes that plan Leon: Great. come back up here and help us build a house Raihan: Iâm going to move into a village and live the good life. Iâm not wasting my time building a house. Gordie: Youâre just going to mooch on a Testificateâs couch? Piers: Are they still called that- Bede: Why does no one want to cooperate!? Gordie: Me and Piers are cooperating just fine Raihan: until you start dying of hunger and you kill Marnie for mutton Piers: Iâd kill him Gordie: Relax, I have rotten flesh to keep me full- Bede: You EAT that stuff? Raihan: Thereâs literally no downside to it- Leon: Just raid village garden for their potatoes- Piers: You have to find one. Gordie: Then you have to deal with Illagers- Piers: Sometimes- Gordie: Too often- Bede: What are Illagers? Everyone is silent for a couple of seconds. Gordie chuckles to himself. Piers:... What version were you running? Bede: Before today I was running 1.12. 2 for modding purposes- Piers: Oh, shit, Gordie we have to watch this Gordie: This is going to be hilarious Piers: Do you have a lede so we can bring Marnie? Gordie: Weâll name a new sheep Marnie Piers: Iâm fine with that. Letâs all move into a village Raihan: This is going to be fun Bede: What the hell is everyone talking about? Leon: Illagers are like evil villagers. Occasionally theyâll raid the villages- Bede: Thatâs interesting- Leon: Letâs see how it goes.
They move into the village together, everyone in a separate house except Piers and Gordie. Together they built a secret bunker under their house to protect from the inevitable raid. The Raid hit at the worst possible time. Gordie was taking their pink sheep Marnie for a walk, Piers was chopping trees in the nearby woods, Bede was farming in town, Leon was crafting in his house and Raihan was trading. Â
Bede:.. What is that bar- Piers: Fuck, Iâm not at home- Raihan: ABANDON SHIP! Gordie: THEY HAVE A RAVAGER- Piers: Get Marnie into the bunker. Then the witch came
The war was won.
Our lordâs lands were now leagues larger.
The neighboring village was now part of my country too. They didnât seem to happy about that, and they didnât have anything to sell us anymore, but our lord was happy.
The harvest was okay the following year, all things considered. Our festival came and went, and it was, well,it was what it was.Â
Then the witch came.
She had been spotted crossing the northern border, heralding an army of the dead. Shambling hordes of zombies and skelettons clads in the armor of my country.
They said wherever she went, destruction followed, and dozens of villages had fallen to her clutches.
Somehow, I wasnât afraid. I had too much to worry about. Old Martha had been sick. I had to take care of her and her calf. And my chickens were restless these days, it seemed like everytime I took my eyes of them they were either fighting or trying to run away.
---
I canât say I was surprised when she reached us.
I donât know why I went up to the village gates. I think it was because one of the guards was sick, and Iâm okay with a bow. The witch walked towards our gates, demanding safe passage. Of course, the chieftain refused. He gave us the order to shoot.Â
So I took aim, peered down the walls, and saw a glint of gold.
I couldnât shoot.
---
The battle wasnât even a battle. The undead were far too many. Everyone fled.Â
But I couldnât. As the dead marched inside the village, I got down the stairs. I started walking between them. For some reason, they didnât grab me, but at that moment, I didnât care about that. The only thing that stopped me was her voice.
âWho are you?â
I turned to the .voice, and there she was. A slender figure in flowing dark robes. A wide brimmed hat protected her porcelain skin from the assaults of the sun, and she walked with the help of a staff, gripping the front of her robe with her damaged hand. I stood aghast in front of the stunning figure, gazing upon these hands, full of little cuts and calluses, then I raised my head to peer into her obsidian eyes. She must have lost what little patience she had, because she changed her question.
âWhy didnât you shoot?â
I blinked a few times, raising my arm to point at a soldier among the others. A puppet without strings that had been walking towards me for a while now. At itâs neck, a golden medalion. I'd have recognized it among countless others, and I did, as Iâd made it myself from foreign coins a traveller had once gifted us when he was sleeping in our home.
I realised, as I remembered this, that I still had not really answered her.
âSheâs my daughter.â
The witchâs expression did not change. My daughter walked past me like I wasnât even there, her good luck charm tapping with every step against her mail. I could only stand there, staring in awe, fear, and defeat. My daughter was finally home. The Witch left me standing there, walking towards the villageâs exit, following the horde.
---
It had been three days since Iâd started following them. Iâm still not sure why. I think I needed just needed that.
And by âthatâ I mean making my way towards our realmâs capital with an evergrowing army of the undead. Donât judge me, please, what could I do, run away and abandon my daughter? Fight and be cut down by her skinless hand?
At first, Iâd tried to understand, but after three days I found myself even more confused than I did on our meeting. Not once had I seen the witch raise the dead. They simply popped out of the ground, grabbing their weapons cast in rust and dirt, and walked. Some were skeletal civilians that had been caught in the war, or the rotting carcasses of these who died to the sickness that all wars bring, but most of them were soldiers from both our realm and our neighbor. At first, we were little more than seventy, but as we moved from village to village, as the living fled in abject terror, we soon grew to hundreds of walking heralds of doom.Â
---
After a week I was not the only living one there anymore. We found each other, quite confused and lost, but then called ourselves the Followers, as a joke. Iâd found that jokes like these help with anything. Most of our stories where the same. Parents, siblings, some teachers and even some children who had recognized a face, a scabbard, a scarf, an axe that a loved one had brought into battle and never brought back. There even was one decrepit bog hag, clad in dirt and rags. Man, old Marie was the best. She made the best soups.
As we talked, I got my first news of the outside. Our lord was in a panic, he tried everything to stop us, but his army was in shambles, no one dared oppose us. I also learned that the neighboring kind had perished at the hand of this army.
I wasnât sure how to feel about that, so I confronted the Witch.
It was a cold afternoon and she sat on a log as the undead wandered aimlessly. She had donned a warm cloak, and next to her was a pot of herbal tea. She offered me a cup.
âI did not kill him.â
I had not asked, but she must have heard us talking about it. I simply sat next to her. Her eyes were lost in the horizon, where we now could see the capitalâs shadown in the faraway mists. As I sipped her bitter brew, I decided to ask a question anyway.
âWhy do you do this?â
The wind was blowing. A few birds took off as the undead seemed to walk with purpose again. For a second, it seemed like she was going to answer, but all she said was.
âWe have to go.â
And that was that.
---
Three of us died at the gates. The walls were too high for the dead to simply overrun. We were hesitant at first, and I donât know why, but I understood at this moment. So I repeated her words.
âWe have to go.â
And that was that. They followed me as I installed lader. Boiling oil and naphta got two of us, and an arrow got a thid, but, thanks to some weird brew of Marieâs, we were feeling like lions that day.Â
Two more died in the streets as we tried to herd the stampeding citizens out of the way of the army, but we kept on.
A constable got a hold of Marie as she was tending to our wounds, and beat her to a pulp.
I can still hear his screams of terror as me, another follower and few of the dead swarmed him.
This was the only time Iâd ever harmed anyone.
---
Here we were now, in the throne room. I had never seen our lord in person. His paintings had been quite lenient in regards to the multiple marks of inbreeding his body displayed.Â
He cursed us and the dead as they marched towards him. His pretorian guard fought bravely, but they were crushed under our numbers.
It was my daughter who drove the spear into his guts.
And that was that.
Time stood still as the undead suddenly all stopped into their track. A wind blew from the sky, running through the dead, and as it blew, their bodies fell to ashes, scattering across the land, and I hope, back to their home.
The witch fell to her knees, but I caught her, steadying her.
âI donât know who you are. I donât know who they are. I only know they brought me here.â
And thatâs all she said, as the Witch and us, her Followers, stood in the middle of the gilded palace of the tyrant.Â
We had been saved by our dead. I cursed myself for being so blind, so complacent.
So as you read these lines, friend, know this: our land was saved one day by the dead, but they woke from their slumber only because we, as a people, were asleep, and dreams are not what slays tyrants.

I don't care what anyone says, Minecraft is a horror game. My house is in the center of the map and the first village I found was all the way down a winding river at the very dead south of the map, built along the riverside. They're very out of the way but they have good stuff. A bustling town of cartographers and blacksmiths, traders and livestock. I return to my home with full pockets and bountiful resources.
As I explore my own central area some more, I find a town much closer in the open fields, but its been abandoned. It wasn't a very sophisticated village, only empty houses and cobwebs with some meager supplies. Its easy work cutting down the undead in the way.
In the spruce forests to the west was yet another village, a little better off, but completely empty. I take what i can find and leave. Just like the last town only zombies shamble around their ruins.
But it's the last town in the dark oak...built high up in the mountains in the center of the northern towns that chills me the most. Like the others its also dead, but with incredible loot, colored wool and carpets, royal purples and rich reds. And plenty of pumpkins and potatoes that could feed them for the winter and then some.
But it's the very northernmost edge of the town where something...evil lies. A nether portal, blown to smithereens. Lava and magma scorch the ground and precious golden cubes embed themselves in the fire. The obsidian is cracked and bleeding with nether magic. Something terrible and inevitable happened here.
That's when it clicked, the river town wasn't lucky. They were survivors. They had to run through mountains and dark oak forests and the plains to make it to the river until they couldn't push themselves to paddle any farther. And I was killing the most beloved of them, out of mercy, out of survival, out of completion.
It made me wonder, if that was the first time I've ever been to those villages. Or if I was part of those final moments too, if my endgame is to finish what i started, and kill the beasts that poisoned my old friends. Or if it's to do what I did to them, survive...
