So i remember an ask mentioning your mortal enemy, Felis Atra and their cats, and i thought it'd be fun to draw what Felis Atra's version of your italian dogs would be.

I think they would be called Butter Knife and Flamengo! Butter Knife is not his real name, it's an nickname given by his peers because of how harmless he is. I choose Flamengo because that's the name of Vasco's rival football team here in Brazil, so i thought that was the perfect name :)

Cat Machete was slightly inspired by the Oriental Shorthair cat because of their long noses and thin head shape.

Cat Vasco was inspired by the Scottish Fold cat, because FLOPPY EARS. I gave Flamengo longer ears and orange fur to make him more like his look-alike.

The last doodle is a reference to this ask (https://canisalbus.tumblr.com/post/728923918314946560/me-i-am-machete-ear-fan-number-1-those-ears) and contains the tumblr ask stand-in dog, whose cat version was inspired by the American Curl cat! They have round ears that are slightly floppy outwards.

Final notes: I know cardinal clothes don't come in vibrant blue, but i was ADAMANT on switching Machete's and Vasco's clothing color patterns. I would draw the rest of Butter Knife's and Flamengo's clothes, but i suck at designing cool outfits.

Speaking of outfits, for Machete's iconic void outfit, i figured it would be fun to make it more baggy for Butter Knife, in contrast to Machete's, that looks very tight-fitted. I think it's cute, it kinda looks like a sweater. Also i can't imagine a Machete doppelganger without high heels boots, so those HAD to stay.

Oh, and just to be clear, i'm not like, claiming ownership of these guys or anything. I just thought it would be a fun exercise. Hope you like them!! I love your art and your characters.

Thinking about Disco Elysium and stars. Something about communal experience and simultaneous isolation, hope and idealism, fear and beauty and terror and burning. The inherent horror in the vast romantic starscape of the sky, the melancholy and loneliness inherent in the untold distance, a communal experience of something too enormous to fathom. Stars bear witness to humanity, to the millions of tiny people crawling on the face of Elysium. They watch the people, and the people watch back, and make up stories about the stars. Stars symbolise love, hope, something unreachable and unattainable.

The way that the light of the stars reaches every single being in Elysium, from human to phasmid, but no matter how far it reaches it is still a cold and distant glow, always on the verge of going out. A moral brilliance, a holy light to strive towards, something always at risk of burning out, but there's a dichotomy too. A duality between the stars as brutal unfeeling observers, moralists even, like the aerostatics flying overhead, tiny dying lights that watch impassively over every terrible thing in the world, and the flipside; stars as the burning kernels of hope, furious burning flames that parallel Harry and his golden-orange forest fire nature. Stars as the light of communism, the star-and-antlers. They're hope and dreams- a million years in the stars. Rockstars and superstars. The light of a brighter future (however short-term that future might be) coming towards them at the end of the tunnel. It makes me think of Sacred and Terrible Air and the light pollution in Vassa- ending light pollution as the world ends. "You may laugh at this, but in the evening, when the big world in the distance swells into a bloody maelstrom, families come out into the street in Vaasa and are insignificant together. Only distant explosions disturb the deep peace of the winter night, its flawless starry sky. Everyone watches, heads tilted back." The stars are a shared experience. Something that everyone watches, insignificant together, when there's nothing more that can be done. Light in the face of darkness, community in the face of inevitability. Togetherness. The stars are there in the church with the ravers. They're there watching Harry and Kim together. Insignificant together. In dark times, should the stars also go out?

finnick odair prefers modest and simple dates. 

one of finnick’s favorite dates is when he invites you over for dinner at his place. he puts on an emerald green apron that makes his eyes pop and begins preparing dinner. as he focuses completely on cooking, a slight frown forms on his face. he smooths it away and rubs his brows once he realizes his unconscious expression. it’s a miracle he hasn’t accidentally cut himself, as his mind wanders and he imagines the pretty outfit you will be wearing that night while he chops the vegetables.

saying finnick always has everything under control might be a bit of a stretch. after years of being together, finnick has perfected the art of dinner dates. however, there have been several mishaps along the way. once, time flew by, and by the time you knocked on his door all dressed up and excited to see him, he was still in his apron and his lazy-day shorts, having not yet showered. on another occasion, he managed to burn the steak he had spent hours preparing and had to beg mags to please bring some of her delicious leftovers. unfortunately, you arrived at finnick’s place just as mags did. and better yet, there was the time he completely misunderstood a recipe. the cookbook he borrowed from mags was so old, and the words were so blurry he accidentally used vinegar instead of vanilla. the look of mortification on his face when you nearly gagged after the first time is something you’ll never forget.

his heart leaps at the sight of you standing at his doorstep in a pretty sundress. as a true gentleman, he doesn’t waste a minute before inviting you in, giving you a quick yet adoring kiss before guiding you to the kitchen. there, he presents the warm, delectable meal that would be delighting your taste buds that night. the endless conversations flow and drive the night as his hand caresses yours, his gaze never leaving yours. he considers the night a success when he hears your delighted hums after taking your first bite. after chatting the night away, he lends you some of his clothes and cuddles you to sleep.

nonetheless, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t pamper you. finnick loves to take you out as well. he takes you to cozy seaside restaurants, where he’s on friendly terms with the owners and can ask for a table with the nicest views. the breathtaking beach and his tender sea-green eyes are two sights you will never grow tired of.

finnick never misses a chance to take you to the annual district four fair. he watches with a warm smile as little kids run around, laughing and shouting with joy at the fun, and maybe tricked, fair games. he also loves picnics with you. his eyes crinkle with pure happiness when he sees you carrying the picnic basket. in the days leading up to your picnic date, he goes to the market to pick out little snacks and fruits to surprise you with. however, his favorite dates are when you both get together at your place to prepare the snacks and meals for your picnic in the park. 

finnick has never sneaked you into the capitol for a date at its fancy restaurants or exotic museums. the capitol is a part of the world he prays you’ll never have to find yourself in, and he does everything in his power for them to never know of the existence of you.

It's really hard for me to ask for help, I have bad experiences with it, so this is all very bewildering and amazing to me that things actually turned out when I did. Is anyone out there willing to do $10 for a commission? 😔 Because I've just found out that I'm going to be very short on bills this month, apparently...

So, long story short: I've very recently and very suddenly moved into a new place and it came at a lot of cost, both financially and personally for me, as the house I'm living in now previously belonged to my sister, before she passed away this September.

Funeral costs, moving costs, and everything on top of that aside, I have always struggled financially as a persons with disability.

But, I had thought I had finally evened that all out at last this month, unfortunately I was wrong. Some last minute bills sprang up on me and made one of my more expensive bills bounce - now it's got charge fees and is already up to $325 and I only have $65 in my account. So I'm a bit stressed right now 😭 to say the least...

Anyways. I'm absolutely willing to do a few coms on the cheap if that'll help pay the bills even a little bit 🙏 if anyone is willing to help me out, I'd be so thankful. Any little bit at the moment will be a step forward.

❗️ The production company Studio WabiSabi announced that their actors Boun N., Prem W., Santa P., Sammy C., Yacht P. and Stamp P. have terminated their contracts and will no longer be artists under the company on April 15th. Shortly after, GMMTV announced the 6 of them as newly signed artists, along with the disclosure that BounPrem's upcoming BL Vampire Project is now being produced under GMMTV, who now also own all broadcasting rights; WabiSabi will function as a co-producer. New S. stated on Twitter that the decisions had been long in the making, as well as the fact that WabiSabi no longer functions as a management agency for actors and is now a mere production company. He also denied the rumors that the company is shutting down. Shortly after the transfer of the Wabi Sabi actors, actor Fluke Jeeratch (formerly Pongsakorn) joined GMMTV as well.

❗️ The Filipino BL Gameboys is getting a third season. An air date has not been confirmed.

❗️ P Ekkapop and Pan Jirachot, the lead actors from Kiseki Chapter 2, have announced a new project together. Details are unknown.

❗️ Actor Barcode Tinnasit has announced his departure from his agency Be On Cloud.

❗️ After some confusion, the Korean production company Studio X+U announced that their upcoming series Fragile - which was initially advertized as a Korean SKAM remake - is in fact not connected to the Norwegian web series and is instead a standalone series, which focuses on the life of a group of teenagers. According to ZUM News, there was supposed to be a Korean SKAM remake based on the Norwegian original, which was however cancelled due to unknown reasons. Fragile was created as a substitution.
