eva - mage of rage. two rage players back to back but cmon she’s gotta be. mages (in my interpretation of the class since they’re like the least explored) have a deep understanding of their aspect through suffering through it and though we don’t see a lot of her in the 3rd episode where she gets eliminated we see that she feels bad abt her anger issues to some degree so like she is understanding rage through suffering it

noah - page of mind. he’s book smart and has a good grasp of other ppls thought processes despite not being great socially (because he has autism if u ask me) but never gets to amount to his full page potential on the series

justin - heir of light. light as the class representing luck fits him in the sense of his good looks being most of his power. since they’re something he was literally born with (inherited one might say) he’s an heir of light

katie - rogue of heart. spoiler for like 4 entries down but sadie has the exact same classpect. i think it’s fair to say that they’re redistributing their identities to each other.

tyler - tentatively calling him a bard of hope. he’s trying very hard but he keeps fuckin it up. also wanted to give him good ol bard near invincibility.

cody - page of hope. part of me wanted to make him a mage and/or heart player cuz that’s what i am but that’s really not what he is. he is however jake english apparently. tdwt was literally him reaching his full page potential.

beth - seer of space. don’t have much to say for this one beyond being a space player because she reminds me a bit of jade and being a seer cuz she’s a little nerd

sadie - rogue of heart. same reasons as katie

courtney - prince of light. she manages to get ahead through skill and a bit of luck here and there, but her own ambition is the thing that holds her back. she’s the one who destroys her own luck most of the time by pushing it past it’s limits

harold - rogue of time. he did steal courtney’s time on the show in tdi by rigging the elimination and then immediately get booted next episode so he didn’t get to make use of the time for himself. also this is my gfs classpect and harold is one of her favourites

trent - heir of doom. an heir since he’s kind of the normalest one and so is john and a doom player for his uh. poorly handled ocd from the second season that they added so they could break him and gwen up. idk if that makes sense but it does in my heart

bridgette - sylph of blood but im not 100% sure on it. i definitely think she’s a sylph but im not sold on a class. choosing sylph of blood since she definitely wants to fix relationships a lot of the time but also she causes a lot of the problems.

lindsey - maid of heart. i don’t have an explanation other than im love her and it would be cute i think

dj - bard of life. because of the whole accidental harming animals thing in tdwt. he’s so life player in general though

izzy - heir of void. frequently disappearing and reshaping her personality.

geoff - knight of breath. his breath player vibe is insane. knight the protector class and breath the freedom aspect coming together so jeff can defend the right to party

lashawna - knight of blood. the number one friend defender and also love of my life

duncan - thief of breath. this is one that makes sense to me but i can’t explain why. also for fun irony of him being in and out of juvie and therefore having his freedom stolen

heather - thief of light. her unparalleled vriska swag. heather could do vriska and vriska could do heather.

gwen - mage of doom. idk why so many characters have the same classpects as canon characters but anyway. she spends most of the series generally suffering but it does tend to get her far

owen - heir of blood. babygirl has the power of friendship on his side. this is like the first one i thought of i am so certain abt this one. passive class that embodies the aspect and the aspect of friendship? that’s owen babey!!!

sierra - witch of heart. i am not immune to making the romance focused character a heart player. witch because she is going to manipulate her way into that twinks heart whether he likes it or not

idk how clear it was but this is less a canon-self-indulgent-noah-centric rewrite thing and more an exploration of how to write a character in This Specific Way and how that itself affects canon rather than how the wanted changes to canon affect the characters?? idk

now while i havent thought too hard about the rest of canon i do imagine post-london one of those challenges is an elimination of someone that skews the gender ratio of the cast, strictly because im imagining noah takes owens role and gets paired with blaineley — and he hates her. and the sentiment is shared. she cannot fucking stand him and he would rather jump into the falls willingly than even risk getting blaineley immunity.

^ something something comedic potential but it is also to the effect of showing how noah doesnt play to win, but plays instead to benefit his own goals — small change, but it makes the difference

umm canon events are again so very lost on me but character dynamics are fun!!! alejandro and him are on rocky footing since london and wary of one another — alejandro believes noah doesnt trust him, which he doesnt, but its less of an ‘avoid you at all costs’ distrust and more of a ‘poking the sleeping bear’ kindof deal where if noah were to find out about how he feels, he would further use it to pry about the person underneath. alejandro is naturally curious about noah because of his limited screentime yet apparently ability to play, which is what drew him to being friendly pre-london, even more so than the rest of the team, but his interest is set to the side while he focuses on figuring out his motivations (in a rushing, jump to conclusions manner hes way more hurt than he should be) (smth smth maybe noah finds out and criticizes his getting too emotional when Playing and finds that alejandros reaction to that, while real, really upsets him?? smth smth character arc),, noah realizes later with no small amount of horror that he himself is entangling his person in the emotions of his character, and would likely try to distance himself and have a little moment of inward frustration when the intrigue does not quell with it,, so instead he tries to Ignore. (spoilers it doesnt work)

tyler is Tyler, noah doesnt really have any major opinions of him, he does heavily heavily criticize him for falling into the group of people who had relationships on the show, which he sees as bad and stupid, and he doesnt feel sympathy for his plight of trying to get lindsay to remember him. sortof similarly tyler sees him as standoffish and brash and openly dislikes his cold interactions with everyone and his unwillingness to make proper friends and connections. tyler sees how total drama as a show affects relationships as just part of it, and further than that worth it, whereas noah (initially) views it as more trouble than it could ever be worth

duncan is also in the group of people who got into relationships on the show, which immediately sours noahs perception of him (and their first meeting not really being on good footing, and the tddddi special,,,) which turns into real personal dislike after the gwen/duncan thing happens; not only did he not have the decency to properly break up or even just talk things out with his girlfriend, but then he went and cheated on her in the confessional. to noah, its intentionally crossing the line of separated characters and the person — duncan the character is ruining the relationship of duncan and courtney the real people, and that makes him genuinely angry (smth a development of how hes usually just irritated that no one else separates the two like he does). duncan doesnt think much of anything of noah, just sees him again as standoffish and rude, but also someone fairly easy to push around? in the sense that he sees him as passive and come something like sweden does not expect the pushback that comes partially from noahs dislike of him and partially just to be contrary (i would imagine that despite this noah gives him the same advice as courtney to the effect of ‘do not give a public reaction’, but is more motivated by knowing that duncan will likely ignore that and is content to watch it blow up in his face while he sits back and says i told you so)

(im saving owen and izzy for later okok) team amazon :0!!! gwen was someone noah had a neutral to positive opinion of, mainly coming from sympathy with heather, again, pulling real life into the characters lives (a sentiment which idk if you can tell he shares about basically the whole cast) but it is soured with her relationships. however its a little different when by s2 it becomes apart of the character and is no longer crossing those two lines — which he does pity, in some distant sense, but ultimately accepts as a facet of the character moreso than the person. come post-london it becomes more neutral-negative because again, its a facet of her character in the show no matter how unfortunate that is, but when he sees how she feels genuine and personal regret he gives her the same advice as duncan and courtney: do not show a reaction, do not give anyone anything to look for in this situation. unlike duncan, she actually follows this (smth smth while courtney does not like her rn she does see how gwen cares enough about the situation to go out of her way to make it unpalatable to the viewers). pre wt simply because of their vastly different circles, gwen didnt know enough about noah to have too many thoughts, but come post london she really appreciates his separation of character and person and generally ends off with a pretty positive opinion of him (and similarly noah can appreciate how she actually took his advice and furthermore liked his little separations)

cody and noah,,, umm do not interact much? maybe the awakeathon didnt happen, but then again maybe it did and it is like a sore point of vulnerability for noah and his 'always aware' thing he has going on (and also hes so aware of how the press will eat him alive for it) and it could also foil sierras character changes bc her appreciation for the characters (noahs onscreen character as a focal point) goes beyond her personal liking of cody (parallels/inverses of her and noah??) umm cody is maybe a little scared/wary of noah?? his demeanor is simply offputting to him,, noah not so much pities him but has a distant sense of such because of codys behavior seeming like hes constantly unaware of the cameras and has no qualms about how it might be embarrassing to the larger public (noahs respect does rise immensely when he punches duncan though),, ultimately codys opinion and how it changes is kiiind of secondary/tied in with sierra and her ramblings?? since theyre often close by and because of sierras changes i want to imagine they get to be friends as People (which again, while noah finds mostly fruitless he does have to give sierra and cody to an extent props for separating the two)

courtney!! again, shes someone who had a relationship on the show which initially made noah dislike her -- but come action she did, at least in his eyes, put her character and position on the show before her relationship. that was a little squashed with the whole 'lawyer contract' thing she gave duncan, which coudlve been a relationship as characters, but it become obvious very soon after that courtney really wasnt aware of the distinction and neither was duncan. and because of it, much like gwen, the courtney/duncan thing became just parts of their characters and tainted what they could have had as people. come post-london, courtney (while having generally thought of him as a slacker/'loser' of the game based on his dodgeball performance) does respect and appreciate greatly that he told her immediately, and even more so that he tries to keep the situation from being exploitable as the plot point its become. similarly noah appreciates how she understands the distinction, and they leave off on good footing even beyond the game (smth character arcs, shes the parallel to alejandro and how he can infact have relationships not spurred on by cold interest)

heather is interesting (mostly bc i interpret canon how i want and this is my little brainworm),, as i imagine it here she, in island, played the social game and crossed the lines of character and person (esp with gwen), but had a sense of awareness while doing so -- and kind of like noah, while she didnt expect hugs, she expected wayyy less animosity than she got when arriving at the playa. to her, its a game, and for the chance of the money why shouldnt she play it as best as she knows how?? < noah respects this -- she plays the game well, separates character and person, and appeals to the producers need for conflict within the show itself. does he think shes mean and vain and insufferable to be around? yes. does he respect and give props to her for her own play style? also yes. (smth,, mention his thoughts on the whole lindsay thing,, he regards it with a disconnect of like 'well why didnt she expect that' thing,, umm foil with one of his own relationships??) heather thinks not very greatly of noah at first tbh, she sees his intelligence as usable and doesnt understand why he wouldnt take advantage of whats around him (but also 'if he doesnt use what he has then obviously he doesnt want this prize bad enough??' smth vague there) come world tour when she figures out noah knows what alejandro is Like, she waits for him to do something. and waits. and waits. and ---- then sierra goes on her whole spiel and she rethinks his character in the show, and has her own little realization that he has been playing the game, using means to a wayy different end. (potential heather&noah teaming?? since noah has noticed how heather seeing through him bothers him in a very different way than anything else [poor oblivious noah he cant see thats what caused alejandros shift in demeanor towards him :Sad:] and she reasons that he isnt really playing for the money anyway

ah sierra,, reality tv obsessed, superfan of total drama,, as someone who was an outsider looking in and who also understands and is fascinated by this in universe idea of panopticon, she gets it more than anything the distinction between character and person. heather the character is mean and bossy and pushy, but maybe the heather the person is toned down. cody the character is the one shes obsessed with, but cody the person might be too different, so maybe she should just stay obsessed with the character (smth smth the dyamic between cody and sierra also changing uhhh,,, also awakeathon?? maybe its a 'since they were sleeping it was cody and noah the people and not their characters so her animosity is just Not There??),, even further than that chris the character is no one to be admired and doing so will earn her no favours, but chris the person is an absolute mogul of entertainment (ty world weary) who she'll forever admire. < contrasted to how in canon she reprimanded heather for being 'mega new' and not understanding a meta-ish reason for why a certain team would lose, she very much understands and likes how noah separates the two and plays as such (imagining a scene where the two of them are on the save wavelength about the behind the scenes reason something happens and the rest of the cast is just Looking On). noah definitely finds her information on the casts personal lives offputting and creepy, but at least can give her (hysteric) props for knowing intimately the differences between character and person, even if she cant really respect the boundaries that come with it

now,,, owen izzy and eva. team escope <3 UMM. im so sorry i love them but. i also think noah would be hesitant if not downright refusing to make connections on the cast (world tour goes off the rails idk) and knew there was something like the beginnings of friendship with eva and izzy on the playa (and to an extent owen on the island) and set it aside to potentially kindle once future seasons and filming was off the table. i feel izzy would be content to go with this (theyre already best friends in her head), and noah would also be content to let her treat him as such because character,, eva on the other hand does not like his reluctance, but she does (begrudingly, angrily) respect it as a boundary up until she finds out its just because of the cameras, which to her is cowardly since the idea of distinguishing such a line that no one else even sees is pointless < which noah finds hard to understand, having been surrounded by that line for years and years (hence the little to no animosity he has towards chris for the show itself) it feels extremely clear to him and he had trouble seeing it from other perspectives and wondering how it could not be so obvious to these people (he learns tho he learns) world tour happens though and despite the cameras still filming he goes ahead and tries to build up something (which eva can appreciate)

^ owen,, they get their friendship as well,,, their interactions are a little disconnected courtesy of one (1) noah but much like eva and izzy after he has his little moment he does take a liking to owen and go out of his way to be friends with the guy (maybe a little sprinkle of foreshadowing-ish moment where noah is hurt to see owen go when hes eliminated but dismisses it as apart of his character and not that he actually likes him as a person),, owen really likes noah!! he thinsk his quips are funny and takes his rude and standoffish behavior as just having trouble with trust and goes out of his way to not push when noah seems reluctant about something,, hes hurt when post-wt noah very bluntly admits that their friendship wasnt as two sided as he thought but is willing when he says he wants to try being Tangible Friends

and uhhh the wider cast generally holds a dislike for him because of (again!!!!) his distinctions that they dont make, but theres no real animosity once noah goes out of his way to try just a liiitle bit (mostly just for his friends,,,)

Beth is straight in my opinion, I know I said she was my pan child but I rewatched the show and she just doesn’t give me that vibe + I don’t like her that much anymore so... yeah

DJ is still my gay child, I’ll do everything for him and his two mums; TDWT did him dirty

Gwen is still the goth bisexual queen; for my own sake I’ll ignore what the writers did with her and act like the kiss never happened and you should do the same; her and Duncan should’ve remained friends, case closed drive safely 

Geoff is giving me bisexual vibes

Lindsay is either bi or pan, but I’ll go with pan; she was robbed, I’m telling you, ROBBED

I’d say that Heather is a lesbian, but since aleheather is my ride or die ship, I’ll say that she’s bi

Duncan is just giving me bi vibes, maybe bi with a preferance for women, but bi nonetheless

Tyler is a chaotic bisexual; just watch his first interaction with Alejandro and you’ll understand

Lightning is so gay, he’s most definitely best friends with Jo bc lesbian/jock solidarity; he probably takes Jo to buy clothes and gives her fashion advice; I mean, just look at him, this guy has a super bowl champion father and trophy wife mother, you can NOT tell me that he doesn’t dress well and take care of himself religiously

Dawn is my favourite character from the whole thing so I’m probably projecting this but she is unlabeled, but if it would be to put a label on herself it would probably be pansexual, cuz she doesn’t give a frick about gender, she just loves

Rating Total Drama ships that showed up when playing with the generator! (Pt. 10)

Bridgette and Jasmine (or Bridgmine): Look, I love Shasmine and Gidgette. Who doesn’t love Shasmine and Gidgette? People without souls probably. But could I still see vegetarian surfer girl Bridgette and wilderness explorer badass Jasmine hooking up? Totally. Rating: 7/10

Chet and Beardo (or Chetdo): Chet’s rock sensibilities that could honestly use some work and Beardo’s otherworldly sound FX skills? Sounds like beautiful music to me. Rating: 7/10

Courtney and Josee (or Courtsee): Now, the thing is I want Courtney to get better. I really do... Assuming she sticks with her bad ending, however, I can’t help but assume she told totally fall for a fellow villain who does what she does because she’s determined to be the best of the best. Rating: 7.5/10

Geoff and Courtney (or Geoffney): The number one Duncney fan trying to get with Courtney? Yeah, right. Rating: 2/10

Jo and Mickey (or Jokey): I would believe that she would continually try to push Mickey to the absolute limit, which I refuse to believe would be good for his health. Rating: 4/10 

Lightning and Tammy (or Lightmy): When you want to be a football star but you also have a secret passion for LARPing and end up meeting a girl that way. It could work, guys! C’mon! Rating: 6/10

Mickey and Ellody (or Mickody): On one hand, I feel like she’d know about all of his conditions or allergies so she’d be really helpful. On the other hand, I’m pretty sure she’s an adult. I don’t know if she’s just fresh out of high school. The show never really specified so... I’m gonna give it a lower rating to play it safe. Rating: 5/10

Scarlett and Josee (or Scarsee): Sure, why not? They’re both insane. Rating: 6/10

Scott and Taylor (or Scotlor): I’m not the biggest fan of either of these characters. But I will admit, I can kinda see this. I like the idea of this weird wiry hick falling in love with the rich valley girl. I guess it would be like Scottney if it made more sense. Or Duncney if they were both kinda dumb. Rating: 7.5/10

Sky and Gwen (or Skwen): I mean. They were both borderline protagonists of their respective debut seasons. They both had a romance that started out cute before going poorly on both ends. They both have admitted that they kinda fucked up. They’re both really cool. One’s kind of afraid of trusting while the other is always determined and confident. I never thought about it before but like... I kinda love this? Rating: 9/10

Sky and Owen (or Skywen): It’d be like Skygar if Sky was instead being shipped with someone dumb, loveable, and well-meaning. So better. Either way, Sky would have to put up with a lot of gas. Rating: 6/10

Trent and Beth (or Treth or Brent idk): Ya know what? Sure. They both deserve the best. Rating: 6.5/10

Brick and Tom (or Brom): I mean, they’re both obviously gay. But Dawn did say that Brick has a “need” to be dominated and I doubt that Tom tops. Rating: 6.5/10

Brick and Jacques (or Braques): I guess that makes a bit more sense. Rating: 7/10

Tom and Jacques (or Tacques): Now this is a power balance that I can get behind. Rating: 9/10

Brick and DJ (or BrickJ): Yes. I’m not even being ironic this time. This is best Brick ship. I’ve found it. It’d be beautiful. Wonderful. Amazing. I want to see it. LET THESE TWO MEET AND BE GAY AND HAPPY TOGETHER, FRESH TV! Rating: 10/10

my opinion on td finalists

spoiler alert, im not a fan of most

TDI: Owen & Gwen

uh I personally don’t like either of these guys for finalists. gwen did do a lot but there were so many times where she just acted so apathetic I was like why?? are you still here?? and as for owen... I didnt like him as a character for a Long Time and he's growing on me but he just doesnt seem like finale material

I think a duncan versus leshawna finale would've been super fun to watch. especially if they teamed up to take down heather in the semifinal. those two had such a fun dynamic, especially in the triathlon episode, that I think taking it to the finale would've been fantastic. also leshawna deserved to win that season and you cannot change my mind

TDA: Duncan & Beth

duncan, while not my first choice, I can see making it through to the finale this season. but beth?? no. im sorry but shes just too much of a side character and is canonically fake nice and annoys everyone else so it doesn’t really make sense

an interesting finale would’ve been duncan versus courtney considering how volatile their relationship was this season. however, bc courtney was kinda awful to duncan, I dont think she deserves to win this season. it would be cool if there was one ending where their votes tied and they made up and decided to split the money but that just feels too tame, both for a finale and for their dynamic

harold versus duncan could be interesting, but because duncan tends to bully harold, I dont think his win would be fair in this situation. I think lindsay versus harold would be the best, as this season is about lindsay learning to take charge and come up with strategies, and while he can be off-putting and occasionally condescending, I think harold has a lot of useful skills that could really flourish in the finale

TDWT: Heather & Alejandro

while I dont ship them at all, I truly dont think there could've been a more satisfying final two. we’ve had their rivalry build up from day one, they have a ton of good songs together, it really completes heather’s arc of antagonist to antihero to protagonist. heather winning is the best ending in my mind, but I like  alejandro winning too. the only problem I have with his ending is that it only happened because heather threw in the wrong dummy-- I think it would’ve been more clever for him to have switched them or something like that

ive been thinking about some other final twos that I think would be interesting, though unable to top the canon one imo. gwen versus courtney would be really cool because of the friends turned enemies thing-- I think it would be interesting for courtney to be put in danger and gwen has a choice of saving her or going for the money and she save courtney before apologizing again (maybe dumping duncan) and the two make up and split the money. 

though I don’t really enjoy either as characters mostly due to their writing, cody and sierra would be an interesting final two. maybe cody finally stands up to sierra, or sierra struggles with wanting to be the winner of total drama or helping the boy she likes win. it definitely wouldn't be as good as the canon two but there would be a lot of clashing dynamics at play that'd be fun to explore

TDROTI: Lightning & Cameron

admittedly, I don’t remember too much from this season, but it really felt like these two kind of coasted by. I never found lightning to be a particularly compelling character and thought it weird how he suddenly went from dumb jock to evil jock in the last episode or two. cameron really felt like he was just carried through the season, similarly to beth, though I dont have as much as an issue with him winning. I dont think it was a bad finale, per se, I just think if those were the final two they should've been written better from the start

seeing as how jo really played the game and went all in, I think she would’ve been a great finalist. it would’ve been interesting to see her versus (commando?) zoey though im not the biggest zoey fan. I think a jo versus lightning finale could actually work (or brick) though if there was a jo versus cameron finale, I couldn't see him logically winning bc jo would just destroy him

TDAS: Mike & Zoey

*BIG FUCKING INHALE* no. just no. im probably not gonna say anything that’s not already been said so ill keep it short. bland, mal writing bad, have someone who's been in the game for 3 previous seasons instead of  1 make it to the ALL STARS FINALE. jfc.

you know what would’ve been an interesting finale? gwen versus courtney. they both said they wanted to reach the final two with the other one, so maybe they do! maybe they start to struggle with their friendship because of courtney’s competitive streak! maybe one of their helpers is duncan and that causes strife between them! maybe they become enemies again and don’t make up until the finale! maybe they decide to split the money! idk! it would've had a hell of a  lot more flavor than what we got

TDPI: Shawn & Sky

I don’t really have an issue with either of these characters making it to the finale. they’re compelling, worked hard, and have distinct goals. I would’ve liked to see jasmine in the finale but I'd be cool replacing either one with her: jasmine and shawn having to compete against one another would be an interesting relationship hurdle and sky versus jasmine would've been cool because they’re both very athletic and it would’ve been the first f vs f total drama finale (we've had m vs f and m vs m but no all-girl finales...)

TDRR: Surfer Dudes & Police Cadets

Again, I don’t really have an issue with this finale. I really like how Sanders and MacArthur both work hard in their own ways and have to learn how to work together (MacArthur breaking Sanders’ arm and realizing that she can negatively affect her partner and also that Sanders is super tough was a GREAT arc). I know there’s been some contention about the Surfer Dudes being eliminated and then coming back so late in the game, but it made sense to me. They chose to lose because they felt that they owed it to Devin and Carrie, and that choice paid off when Devin and Carrie called in a replacement team. I doubt the surfers expected that to happen, they were just trying to be fair, but that kindness was rewarded in a big way which I think was sweet, especially  considering how much of a hot mess this show can be. 

I gotta say, this does kinda remind me of the TDI finale, with the villain (heather/ice dancers) getting eliminated third, and their rival (gwen/police cadets) making it to the finale with the fun guy (owen/surfer dudes). The reason I like the Surfer Dudes as finalists more than Owen is that I felt they put in more effort during challenges and had more of an arc (with Josee’s mind games ending up bonding them as a team after strife, choosing to be eliminated for the sake of fairness, etc). 

Speaking of Owen, it’s kind of ironic that if I had to replace a team in the finale, I would replace the surfer dudes with the reality tv pros. they’re my favorite team and I think it wouldve been great for them to really live up to their name. I think it also would've been funny for the ice dancers to be so focused on their rivalry with the cadets that the pros just completely go under their radar until its the final three and the ice dancers are like “oh crap they’re PROS why haven't we been trying to destroy them??”

I also wouldn't mind replacing the surfer dudes with the sisters. I know emma gets a lot of hate (mostly because of nemma which I only like platonically) but I actually like her as a character (when she wasn’t being obsessive) and I think she and kitty were a great team that had a good arc of learning to work together. I also think it would be really interesting because for the final three they would all have rivalries with one another: the police cadets and the ice dancers (obvious) the ice dancers and the sisters (josee messed with them in at least 2 challenges) and the sister and the police cadets (kitty and macarthur’s game/road rage was hilarious)

Character I feel the writers screwed up: Well I said Billy already, but I'll also throw in Owen. I feel like the whiplash from S1 to S2 (re: parenting skills/habits) was like....too much to take. S3 has offered us absolutely nothing regarding parenting skills they've shared like one scene together like for real. I'll be honest the absence of the toxic masculinity angle in this father-son relationship in S1 was the reason I started watching.

Favorite Friendship: TK and Nancy. EMS chaos duo ftw.

Character I most identify with: TK. I'm am not in recovery or anything like that, but there are just so many things we have in common/habits we have that I just connect really well with him.

What makes me happy about them: How real and....tangible the relationship feels? They're both flawed people and the writers aren't afraid to show that.

What makes me sad about them: Not much tbh. Can't think of anything.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Okay. Okay. hear me out. Top Energy vs Bottom Energy is definitely a thing (source: my multiple decades in the queer community and my own queer relationships) but like....that's a very vague thing that a lot of people NOT in the community don't get. And it's not explainable to people outside the community without sounding....borderline fetishy. You know what I mean. So the thing I hate in fanfic is when they choose to make one of them (99% of the time its TK) an uwu smol bean who needs to be coddled and taken care of, and it inevitably leads to effeminization that is so blatantly misogynistic it makes me nope out immediately when I see it. And I see it a lot. Idk. Let people be people without putting them in boxes. If you can't do queer identity justice, then don't do things like that at all. I'm not explaining this well at all, but idk. Anyway moving on.

Things I look for in fanfic: Omg I love getting together, enemies to lovers, and period aus. I will usually read anything within those parameters.

For Carlos, I do miss Michelle's relationship with him, but I could definitely see a deeper friendship forming between him and Grace. They were an amazing team!

My unpopular opinion about this character: Carlos - he's flawed. He has flaws. He is not perfect. I feel like this is way too unpopular an opinion lol. But it's what makes him interesting!! TK - he's not a horrible person. He's a person who tries to do better every day and he does deserve Carlos' love and affection. I also feel like this is too unpopular an opinion... Honestly if you live in a world where if someone fucks up once they are fucked for life, I don't want to ever be where you are. I have to believe that good people do bad things and they can learn from them and be better.

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon: Carlos - I DEFINITELY want a Carlos begins omg I need it like I need air. TK - I wish we could get more of his relationship with Gwyn. Because she's still around and we can totally have that in future seasons definitely. Yep.

LISTEN, LAUREN. I am always up to share my thoughts because they never end and they just keep coming and I have to unleash them somehow or I will definitely explode.

My brain was just like, ALL CAPS SCREAMING, for about 7 hours yesterday, so I’ll leave you to explore that hot mess on my blog if you want. 😅 But, in the time since, I’ve seen a lot of discourse and stuff about the moments that we’ve seen, so I’m going to use this ask as an opportunity to weigh in on everything under the cut...

FIRST, CAN I JUST SAY that at the moment that I am writing this post, we are still trending at #5 and we’ve been in the 4-7 range for at least the past, like, IDK, 18-20 hours maybe?! I LOVE THIS FANDOM AND HOW WE LOSE OUR SHIT AT THE SMALLEST THINGS

Okay, so let me go through this thing and comment on the parts, and then give some general thoughts below:

LOVE that this is a promo entirely about the LGBTQIA+ characters and characters of color. Not exactly surprised that they still tried to put as much Rob Lowe in it as possible (that’s Fox/the writers’ M.O. it seems - to squeeze Rob/Owen in whether he fits or not). Some of his comments were a little awkward, I thought (referring to Paul’s trans storyline as “stuff” makes me go 😬), but whatever. He’s not the point of all of this, so that’s the last I’m going to talk about him.

TOMMY VEGA. I AM READY TO STAN. I love Gina Torres, I already love how much heart and soul she is giving just in these quick peeks, I cannot wait to see her in action!

Also let me use this moment to say that while it’s obvious I’m not getting my Grace + Carlos friendship (that’s fine if it stays in fandom, I’ll live), I’m SO GLAD that her and Tommy are gonna be friends! One promo mentioned that Judd has known Tommy before, so it would not surprise me if they’ve been friends for awhile. LOVE THAT.

SPECULATION: This gives me a good time to just throw out a theory that I’ve been thinking about... We know Owen and Gwen are hosting Tommy at their place for a backyard dinner. I assume her husband may be there as well, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Judd and Grace are there too. 

I ALSO would not be surprised if this is when one of the nights at Carlos’s place happens, like a parallel of the two dinner parties. That at least keeps every main character involved in both locations. We shall see though.

So this gathering at the firehouse seems like it’s going to be a pretty big scene, probably for episode 1. I think everyone’s gathered so that Owen can announce he’s in remission (we’ll hear him tell TK first, which is the hug that they share earlier in the trailer, I think). 

But this gathering also includes a Tommy/Grace moment, a Tarlos moment, the others doing other things kind of moments. It’ll serve the same purpose as a lot of the season 1 bar scenes, and I’m so glad they’ve moved those to the firehouse. I want that place to really start feeling like a home this year. 

(I want all of the locations to feel a little more grounded and special, if I’m being honest. Like, I’m SO GLAD that Carlos’s place is going to be a key location this season.)

There are now two instances of Carlos being next to Gwen (standing next to her while Owen makes an announcement and now sitting next to her at the table), so we better get some dialogue between them or I WILL BE SO UPSET. I WANT GWEN TO STAN CARLOS AS MUCH AS I DO.

LOL that was a lot but so was this promo.

Now, some somewhat sobering thoughts...

We all know season 1 had a real diversity and inclusion problem, we’ve seen the numbers. We also know that during the promotion for season 1, we ALSO got a diversity promo focusing on the LGBTQIA+ characters and the characters of color. I love that Fox wants to highlight the incredibly talented actors and characters that they have, but all of it means nothing if they are still tokens on the show. 

I have full faith that season 2 will be better, that some of the justified anger and frustration made it back to the writers and they internalized it and then make some real changes. However, because we did get a diversity promo last year, I have to remain a little cautious. This promo doesn’t really mean anything and if, somehow, season 2 goes the way season 1 did, it will be another instance of Fox using the characters of color to draw people in without actually giving them screentime and development. Which is a HUGE PROBLEM. So... I’m very excited and very hopeful, but also slightly wary.

Similarly, I’ve seen people say that they’re worried that, while there is so much Tarlos in this promo, this might be all the Tarlos we get this season. I don’t share the same concern, but like the diversity issue, I understand where that comes from. There was a lot of Tarlos in season 1′s promos and, as we now know, they got screentime in episodes 1-3 and then virtually nothing until episode 10. 

I kind of lost track of the filming schedule, but I think before they went on the holiday/extended hiatus, they filmed the first 5-6 episodes? Maybe? And we know that we’re getting 14 total this season, which means it’s possible that they haven’t even filmed half of them. 

I think the footage that we got in this promo is from, like, 3 or 4 episodes max. Definitely episodes 1 and 2, maybe 4, possibly 5. The crossover is episode 3 and I am still expecting to barely see Carlos in it - I just think it’s going to be very fire heavy one, especially with the members of the 118 coming in to steal screentime. He could be in one scene, maybe? Idk, I’m just not expecting a lot from that episode. 

And sure, we could get a lot of Tarlos at the beginning and then nothing for a whole string of episodes, but that also just doesn’t seem possible with the way they’ve restructured the relationship dynamics. Like, it really does seem like Carlos is going to be a part of the family this year, so I think it will be easier to include him and harder to delete him entirely. (Please let him at least appear in every single episode, I don’t want to be so fucking angry like last year.)

Also, if all of these scenes stay in the episodes, we are getting AT LEAST 4 Tarlos conversations - the firehouse, the wrestling match, the farmer’s market, the flirting by the truck - and other scenes of them being in the same space as part of a group. I’m sure there will be even more that we’re just not seeing. I’m very optimistic for this season and for the Tarlos content, and I really don’t think we’ll see the front-loaded imbalance that we saw last season. I think when they get back to filming the later episodes, there will be a good amount of Tarlos content in those, too!

I will say, though, that I am worried we’ve just seen the only kiss that they’ll share in the first 5 or so episodes. I’m just so used to network TV placing a limit on gay kisses, and Idk how much that has really changed in recent years. I truly love this kiss, and I hope there are more, but I would not be surprised if we end the season having only gotten like 2-3. (PLEASE LET ME BE WRONG.)

Bandom is I think what I first found fic for. look, i KNOW. i KNOW. i was a child. specifically I remember reading stuff for The Libertines (I KNOWWW leave me alone. I am aware. There were some really good writers for it, everyone was doing it, idk man). and god REALLY early on, like what, early middle school? I remember a lot of those pop-emo bandom fics particularly. jesus this is embarrassing. but ry*n r*ss / br*nd*n ur*e fic. I’m sure there were others but let’s move on before the cringe incapacitates me.

House/Wilson on LJ babeyyy. Where I was introduced to hurt/comfort. Fun times. Related, Sherlock Holmes. Inescapable. All versions.

pre-MCU Marvel - fully comics based. X-Men had the best fics. I remember loving in particular - Peter Parker/Johnny Storm, anything with Jubilee, I personally shipped Shadowcat/Jean Grey before I knew what shipping or the internet or fandom was, I loved Gambit/Wolverine and I remember some really good Gambit/Nightcrawler fics. Lot of discourse on the nature of being monstrous in those that was interesting. I would read Hawkeye and anyone because he had good and totally different dynamics with so many different characters but I did have a soft spot for Clint/Bucky, Clint/Sam, and Clintasha. oh I was also into Bucky/Natasha because I did really love comics Black Widow. the less popular ones that i loved were - Sunspot/Cannonball, SamBucky, Jessica JSilk/Black Cat, MJ/Gwen Stacy, Peter/Harry Osborn, Sam/Bucky,  Elektra/Natasha, Foggy/Matt, Kate Bishop/America Chavez, Daredevil/Black Panther, the Heroes for Hire polycule, god I think Angel/Quicksilver purely bc of Marvel 1602, honestly there were a lot. This would need it’s own post because comics are a bunch of attractive people with interesting dynamics and plenty of What If? opportunities.  

Speak of comics, I was also into DC - Superbat, Booster Gold/Blue Beetle, Kaldur’ahm/Superboy (literally no one was into this besides me lmfao), was and am a huge Batfam fan, I am 100% a Damian Wayne apologist, oh was and tbh still kind of am really into Dick Grayson/Clint Barton fic. Yes I realize that’s insane but idk love the concept of carnies in love. Wonder Woman/Meera, Constantine/Zatanna, Zatanna/Wonder Woman, Constantine/King Shark now of course, Harley/Ivy, Harley/Ivy/Selina, Kate Kane/Renee Montoya, Constatine/Dream, Vi you turned me on to au teen girl Chastantine and I love that. Again, I’m sure there are more.

The Social Network also on LJ babeyyy. Of course Markwardo, but there were some great writers that made a really compelling case for Sean/Eduardo.

Heroes - specifically Matthinder which was ICONIC and still deserves so much more attention. They RAISED A CHILD TOGETHER. Honestly I was into Mohinder/anyone though.

MI-5 which was me and like 4 other people. Adam/Zaf is still my all time favorite ship that has zero engagement whatsoever. I know in my heart that Zaf faked his death and met up with Adam who let him retire with him in secret and safety. For something even more obscure that I care about way too much - Vik/Jez endgame and Vik/Rob as friends with benefits from Spooks: Code 9. I have a very detailed story in my head about them but maybe 7 people total watched that show before it was cancelled. Rob is probably the most villainous character that I’m into. 

Torchwood - yes Janto, also Owen/Ianto again purely because there were some really good writers for it.

Indiana Jones - I read. Every single one of the novels. I watched Young Indiana Jones. I adored him. 

The Flash TV - this one I did actually leave. I was in it for Cisco, Wally, and Iris. I think Iris/Barry are sweet, and I also liked Cisco/Barry, Cisco/Wally, and Iris/Cisco. I just lost interest in the show. 

Legends of Tomorrow - Sara/all her girlfriends throughout time

Dragon Age - yeah I love Anders/Fenris & Dorian/Iron Bull. I think Cullen/Dorian has the occasional good fic but it’s definitely hit or miss. 

Star Wars - oh star war. how do i hate thee. let me recount the ways. No I still love Hanleia, Landoleia, Han/Lando, Hanluke, Leia/Mara Jade, Mara Jade/Arden Lyn, Luke/Mara Jade, FinnPoe (My LOVES), uhhh that’s it. I do also love Black Squadron and Rapier Squadron. Jess/Kare Kun was underrated although Kare/Snap is also fun. I saw Rose/Kaydel Ko and that was real galaxy brained.

Mad Men - I really did love Don & Betty’s dynamic post-divorce. Also him and Peggy - not romantically at all but just something cold and sharp.

Firefly - Mal/Simon, and Kay/Inara. I’d read Jayne/Simon bc there was more of it but it was not my fave at all

Community - Trobed my beloved

GLOW - everyone on this show had a great dynamic AND i love my brown lesbians <33

“piece of mind” is fine i guess?  i thought it was some kind of metacrisis situation but no, just jack lying his head off.  as before, i feel like jack the former con man should be, well, better at lying and assuming false identities, but.  *shrug*  i guess he’s been captain jack harkness for a hundred or so years by this story, maybe he’s out of practice at being someone else?  plus, he has so much baggage about the doctor that he’s playing his version, colored by all his resentment and hurt, rather than what the doctor is really like, particularly six, who jack has never met before.  this story is kind of frustrating, both because jack has his head too far up his arse to listen to the people around him and because of the way we keep jumping around between settings and groups of characters, and particularly the way jack keeps ducking out of the action to check in on the doctor.  (also, it feels to me like jack is performing ten more than nine, but this is before he’s met ten :/)  despite all that, this is a fun enough story, and i was sincerely invested in hayat’s fate, despite the stilted progression of her attachment to jack-as-doctor.  idk, maybe james goss is just not that great at writing jack.  or maybe his writing is just uneven in general.

“what have i done?” is a great drama/horror episode, good job, guy adams, thank you.  war is hell and people are complex and sometimes it’s better when you can’t feel anything anymore and sometimes you can try your hardest and beat the monster and still lose in the end.  ata is incredibly real and relatable and wonderful and awful.  jack does his best to be heroic and doctorlike and yet he can’t catch a break, which is honestly the story of jack’s immortal life -- he tries to be who he thinks the doctor wants him to be, who he thinks the doctor would be, he puts in a good faith effort and does his absolute best but he still loses everything.

“driving miss wells” is honestly terrible.  i’m not charmed by trinity and her layers of subterfuge, it started too slow, and the entire thing just felt... strained. ponderous. contrived.  also, i don’t know if we’re meant to think trinity wells has lived in the uk for ages and picked up britishisms in her speech or what but i really wished someone had yank-picked this script before it was recorded because goss’s idiomatically british lines sounded so wrong with lachele carl’s mostly-american delivery.  (carl herself has lived in the uk long enough that her own accent and speech patterns sound Wrong to my ears, but somehow it’s even wronger when she’s using words and turns of phrase an american would never.)  but what was the point of this story?  i suspect the point was the title and having that particular actor back and trying to comment on conspiracy theories and “fake news” more than anything that happened with the actual plot.

but hey, “sargasso” is fantastic

action with a very timely message about how we’re destroying our planet

kaitlin is charismatic, smart, and spunky and i love her

which of course makes me Very Sad at the end

poor rhys thought he was well out of spooky alien bullshit with gwen retired from torchwood and somehow it manages to find him in the middle of the ocean

but he’s so wonderful i love him so much i love kai owen so much

this is a very visual story and it’s incredibly well-realized because i could see how i would have filmed the episode while i was listening, and yet i didn’t feel like anything was lacking with just the audio.  wonderfully written and wonderfully produced.

and i do love a chilling ending, although tbh this story also makes me feel a lot of despair about the environment.

next up: god among us vol. 3 and then, finally, “serenity” and some sweet, sweet fake-married jack/ianto action (bless u big finish)

You can’t pull out the rift at the eleventh hour and then talk about it as though it’s a Hugely Important plot device when the biggest role it’s had over the stretch of the entire 11 Whole Ass episodes prefacing this was to allow the plane to come through in “out of time”. y’all have barely mentioned the rift this entire time and now you want to act like its the hellmouth??? eat my ass!!!!!!

- and continuing on that note: apparently they’ve had a machine that can manipulate the rift in the hub......... the entire goddamn time. but no one thought to MENTION it i guess!!!!!!!! pfft, why would THAT be important??? right???? right?????

this plot bullshit almost makes me feel bad for how harsh i was about “cyberwoman” but, i will admit.... despite this Absolute Fucking Nonsense, i do find the jack and tosh storyline in this episode really fun and interesting. its just unfortunate that all the stuff arrrrround that is some kind of fic scrawled in the back of a kid’s math book.

- also the size of owen’s fucking NADS in this episode!!!!!!!! “Don’t compare yourself to me.” SAYS MAN CRYING OVER THE GIRL HE KNEW FOR ONE (1!) (SINGULAR) WEEK!!!! as opposed to ianto’s longterm girlfriend being turned into a monster and eventually murdered by his own team!!!! Like, i understand that’s owen’s problem actually goes beyond that, and its not so much about diane herself but about the fact that he let himself feel close to someone again after his fiancee died but for us, The Audience, watching this as it airs... we haven’t unlocked owen’s tragic backstory yet. and without knowing all that it just makes owen look really bad and like a huge fucking tool lmfao.

- NEVERMIND THE END IS GAY AND SAD AND Y’KNOW!!!!!! i am a man of simple pleasures, at heart, and so... i’ll let it slide. jack meeting his namesake knowing that he’s going to die and them having a moment is more of the kind of emotional content we would get in episodes of doctor who, and its Just Right

- in honesty, theres a bunch of stuff about this ep that i DO like. that tosh gets a prominant role for a change, while gwen gets to do fuck all. the whole Real Jack story. owen gets shot and pops a tit out at the end. its just unfortunate thats its all wrapped up in this rift thing thats been wheeled out last minute for a Big Season Finale with no real foreshadowing or build up to it at all lmao. but, moving on...............................................................................................

Dirty Little Secret: Ummmm?  Idk?  I guess maybe that while the list of characters I find attractive is a short list, not every person on this list is public knowledge.   Some are.  But not all, and I’m going to keep it that way.  No I don’t want to fuck Kristoph. Headcanons: I guess, some headcanons I have that are tied to canon, that I’m really fond of are a) Kristoph’s first trial being the trial where Dahlia is sentenced and b) Fulbright’s first few months on the force directly intersecting with the events that lead up to Turnabout ReminiscenceUnpopular Opinion:  IDK?  Maybe that I don’t h/c Edgeworth as gay?  Or that I unapologetically like Diego/Godot, lol.Rune Factory:(I’m going to have to split my answers into different categories at some points, just based on the nature of the game, the context in which I play the game - that is, as a boy or a girl - affects my answer)Favorite Male Character: Hnnnghhhh.  As an overall character, I think tbh Dylas has become my fave?  But Vishnal won me over as best husbando.Favorite Female Character:  THIS IS SO HARD there’s too many ;w;  I really really love Margaret.   But dating/marrying Karina was amazing, the amount of development she goes through.Favorite Het Ship: My favorite Protag het ship is RF4 female player character (Frey)/Vishnal, which I never expected until I played the female file on RF4... but I’m sort of a sucker for butler/maid + their “master” (as my next answers will cover).  My favorite het ship out of the supporting cast is Gaius/Evelyn from RF3, they are SO CUTE I CAN’T.Favorite Slash Ship (Both M/M and F/F):I don’t really ship any of the male protags with any of the bachelors, but as for the female protag, I really like the idea of Frey/Forte.  A princess and her knight.  As for the supporting cast, I live a Dyldo appreciation life (they are hate-love done right) and as for F/F, I really like Electra/Maerwen from Tides of Destiny... the rich girl and her tsundere maid, lol.Least Favorite Male Character:  Other than the big bad, Ethelberd, GOD, Jake from RF2...HGNNNHHH he’s just a dick?  And racist lmao I mean I get it’s because of ~abandonment issues~ and that RF2 has some less than stellar writing but one would think he chills a bit with his hate-on for humans as he befriends you and/or marries Cecelia or Yue.  NOPE.  Least Favorite Female Character:  I really found Collette from RF3 to be annoying, and not in an endearing way. :\Least Favorite Het Ship:   Out of Protags, I don’t like Kyle/Mana from RF2, like, at all, mostly because it feels like the game forces it.  Most of the RF/HM games have a “default” bachelorette that’s presented as the “Main” bachelorette of the game, plot-wise, but with Mana it’s just really not done well, from how you meet through the events.  As for supporting cast ships, I’ve seen Leon/Forte from RF4 quite a bit and it just rubs me the wrong way.  Probably because I don’t like Leon a lot but also, just... ships where one character perpetually teases the other and it’s supposed to be “flirting” just isn’t cool with me.  I know Leon doesn’t mean to be malicious in his teasing but with Forte, I feel it’s not a good approach and I don’t think it makes them compatible in the least.Least Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F):  Again, I don’t really have any preferences with the male protags and the male villagers, but one I particularly don’t like is Kyle/Barrett from RF2... mainly because I think Barrett and Dorothy are meant for each other but also, just... I  feel it’s played as though Barrett’s animosity is just him covering his ~true feelings~ and lmfao that’s like... not at all? his character? It’s just not something that makes sense to me.   I actually think all the female protag ships/female villager ships are cute enough; no preferences either way.  OUt of the supporting cast, I know Forte/Margaret is popular and there’s nothing wrong with it, it just doesn’t click in that way for me.Dirty Little Secret:  If I could personally marry any rune factory character... listen... I love Gordon.  I love him so much.  He is COMPLETELY my type, the noble bro.  I don’t care if he’s like 50 and has two kids and is a priest.  Headcanon(s):  I guess this is a fairly popular headcanon within the fandom but I do think Zaid and Doug could be pretty closely related and I wish there were more RF games to explore more about the different Elf and Dwarf tribes.Unpopular Opinion:  Shit, umm...I guess, I don’t think Rune Factory 4 is the best game for someone new to the franchise to start with.  It’s the best game, by far, IMO but I think it is SO involved, so fleshed out that it could be insanely overwhelming.Harvest Moon:Favorite Male Character:  Fffffffff so many.  It’s so hard for me to pick between Vaughn (my first fave) and Owen (my #1 husbando).  Gustafa is up there too.Favorite Female Character:  Again, there’s so many wonderful ladies.  Selena and Candace are opposite ends of the spectrum but both so amazing.  I might be slightly more partial to Candace because...Favorite Het Ship:  With the male protag, I adore Kasey/Candace.   Female protag, Chelsea/Will was my first OTP and probably always will be.  Out of the supporting cast/rivals, there’s too many to choose from, but Nami/Gustafa and Luke/Selena are so good.  And honorary mention to Galen/Nina for breaking my goddamn heart.Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): I actually only have one slash ship with the protag, and that is Philip/Dirk from ToTT but GOD DO i SHIP IT HARD.  Out of the villagers, I can’t resist Luke/Owen for M/M and Gina/Dia (again, rich girl and her maid).Least Favorite Male Character:  Buhhhhh Chase.  I mean he’s just an ass.  I feel like Neil from ANB is way ruder, and Rock from AWL/DS is just a complete fuckboy, but I’ve played ToT/AP so much that Chase sticks out to me the most.Least Favorite Female Character:   There’s a lot of boring female characters tbh :|  Elli comes to mind.  Ellen, Renee, Celia... lol a lot of the girls with short brown hair, apparently.Least Favorite Het Ship:  I mean as far as Protag ships, none of them I absolutely hate.  I don’t really like any protag pairings with a candidate who appears in a future game (example, Gretel/Amir in Grand Bazaar, when Amir later appears in ANB as an eligible bachelor), because to me it seems like the person left your protag in the preceding game, lol.  

As for rival pairings, LOOK I LOVEEEE Julius - honestly, he’s one of the better husbandos in ToT/AP - but Julius/Candace pisses me off so much.  He bullied her to the point that she has no self-esteem, and then he’s all like WHUPS MY BAD I DID IT BECAUSE I LIKE YOU, well TOUGH SHIT JULIUS.  CANDACE DON’T OWE YOU ANYTHING.  I really like them becoming friends, repairing the damage Julius did, but I feel pairing them together is Candace “settling”, not to mention it’s basically saying Julius was okay for doing what he did, and that’s not fair to either of them.

Least Favorite Slash Ship: (Both M/M and F/F):  for protags, Mark/Vaughn from IoH/SI just because I absolutely can not see Vaughn being interested in men, lol.  Plus it’s usually just written as a gay version of Chelsea/Vaughn which is, by and large, also poorly done.   For villagers/rivals - I really do not get Chase/Gill. At all.  They’re both cynical and socially stunted in their own ways and I just think they’re too much alike for a relationship to be of any benefit to them?Dirty Little Secret:  I don’t really have one when it comes to HM?Headcanon(s): Maybe they state otherwise in Story of Seasons (which I haven’t played, but Cam and Reina left Bluebell/Konohana partly because of not wanting to deal with Ash’s drama anymore, lol.Also, Neil is Vaughn and Gwen’s son.  No, I mean I could see it physically but that would imply Vaughn is a shitty father lol.Unpopular Opinion:  Save the Homeland is a great game?  Idk I’ve only played a little bit of it and it gets a bad knock because you can’t marry in it but it has some of the better plotlines out of the whole series and is compulsively replayable.MCU (or, my limited knowledge of MCU):Favorite Male Character:  You Only Loki Once.  >:3  Favorite Female Character: Peggy freakin’ Carter Favorite Het Ship:  Steggy /clutches heart/Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): Stucky!!!  I haven’t seen enough movies to have a F/F ship, tbh.Least Favorite Male Character:  Other than the baddies, idk, I don’t really have any feelings towards Hulk/Bruce Banner.  Of course that could change if I see more movies.Least Favorite Female Character:  Not really a fan of Darcy.Least Favorite Het Ship:  Again, I don’t really know much about their characters, but Bruce/Natasha isn’t something I care about one way or the other.Least Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): I can’t believe I can’t just say “Other than Incest” but this one is so popular and the fact that people DON’T consider it incest should tell you exactly why I loathe it so much:  Thor/Loki F/F, again, I got nothing.Dirty Little Secret:  I don’t know?  This isn’t really a secret I guess but I cried EXCESSIVELY to my counselor over Falcon after seeing TWS for the first time.Headcanon(s):  Not sure I have any?  I haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about them for these characters.Unpopular Opinion:  Hmmmm.  Even though I really love Cap, I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily “team Cap” in the whole Civil War thing.  From what I understand, Tony seemed to become more hated by Cap Fans (someone correct me if I’m wrong) but I came away after CA:CW surprised at how much I really did not hate him at all and understood his side of things.

I’m going to do this in order, so we’re gonna start with our “beloved” host of the show

Chris is the embodiment of being gay and homophobic

Chef is hard to say, you don’t really know what’s up with him, but I’d say he’s gay as well

Beth is my chaotic pansexual child and I will protect her with my own life if I have to

DJ is just so gay, I love him so much, must protect at all cost

Gwen is our goth bisexual, she is a queen, I just really love her

Geoff is either the straight ally or the chaotic bisexual, I don’t really know

Lindsay is very hard to tell, because I feel like she is straight, but at the same time, she kinda gives me some bisexual vibes, but I don’t really know so I’ll go with straight

I see Heather as lesbian, she was just told that she is straight

Duncan is hard to tell as well; we would assume he’s straight, but something just gives me bisexual vibes, so maybe bisexual with a preference for women

Now, you would assume Tyler is straight, but he is just a chaotic bisexual, change my mind; he was just so... chaotic when he saw Alejandro 

Harold is straight in my opinion, I just don’t get any vibes from him, so yeah
