Had the wierdest dream I was on an ebike one of the real fat tired ones going from derby back to my parents house and there was NO ONE around it was kind of creepy but also nice if you know connecticut drivers anyway as I'm biking I notice gas dropping, like the first station I pass is 1.99 and I do a double take then the next one a little further down is 1.09 and I almost stop but that gas station is notorious for being Scary so I finally stop at the next one and it's at 90 cents and I watch it go down to 70 and I'm like fucckkkk I don't have a car but I want to take advantage of this bc the only other time I've seen gas under a dollar was at the very beginning of the pandemic. So I go into what I thought was a store to see if they have cannisters but it was a credit union and a bunch of older people wanted my help bc it was all automated but I didn't know how to do it either. Somebody else eventually figures it out but by the time I leave it's dark so I'm worried bc the bike doesn't have any lights and I'm wearing dark clothes but I'm like 10 minutes away and the roads are still empty so I decide to keep going just take the side roads bc there is still NO ONE driving. I do but I accidentally take the worst road(this one exists irl) that's basically a sheer cliff you go up and I'm doing fine bc of the e part of the e bike but I have to lean back for something at the top after looking at the pretty view of the town with all the lights on in the dark. The bike does a wheelie and I fall back down the hill with it and die when I land at the bottom a real splat situation but it was annoying bc it was one of those dreams where when u die u don't wake up you just feel it??? And I'm lying there pissed AF bc I know it's a dream and I should wake up so I can stop feeling my viscera on the hot asphalt and then finally I did wake up

I dont ship real people but i had a dream the other night we have a Dawntrial launch event/media tour where the Scions + new people have like a "red carpet event" and all was well (eg: twins "disneybounding" the twins for their outfit) EXCEPT these two muppets (affectionate)

soft launched their relationship, with Ben making a post like "My jill" or something. And they both basically hung off each other all night. And people had issues (obvious group) because they didn't approve of Ben. Was very strange. Peter Branhil was cackling about it though.

me knowing ALL about mcyt and my irl friend not means it's very funny when we're playing minecraft servers together (usually murder mystery on bedrock) and someone has a mcyt skin. because in my head i'm like THE MURDERER IS THE PERSON IN A BIGB SKIN!!! that is the quickest and easiest way to describe it! but she has no idea who BigB (or anyone else) is so i have to describe it. So I'm cursed with knowledge. This week she was asking what someone's skin was supposed to be and I had to confess, voice weary, "I think it's meant to be the youtuber Dream." And she was like oh, didn't he do something recently that made everyone hate him? Sakura has dreams and nightmares, although most of the time he only remembers snippets. Prone to gasping awake or shooting up into sitting position during nightmares. The type to have dreams about his friends and feel like they’re at fault for what happened. Once he had a dream Nirei stole his food and he wouldn’t let Nirei sit next to him during lunch the next day without telling him specifically he better back off his sandwiches.

Whenever Hiragi has a nightmare, stomach cramping follows. Whether it’s his stomach causing them or them causing further stomach distress, he’ll never know, but he has tea and medicine to settle down before trying again. Mumbles in his sleep on occasion, and it’s really kind of cute.

It’s no surprise Umemiya is a dreamer. Sure maybe once in a blue moon he’ll have a bad one, but for the most part they’re really weird and silly. Loves to talk about them at breakfast the next morning, recounting his time flying with a penguin, or being chased by trolls. He remembers the whole thing usually, though he’s such a deep sleeper that once he’s worn himself out enough and has one of those big, drool inducing rests, he just sleeps with no dreams to be had.

Suo is vague, beats around the bush, and generally likes to joke around. When he tells his friends he dreams in black and white? He’s actually telling the truth! He doesn't have good or bad dreams often, but when he does, he likes to laugh about them in the morning. Something about them looking like he’s watching an old movie makes them all the more funny.

Kaji has nightmares more than dreams, but mostly he sleeps without either. He’ll be in a shit mood the next day though, because the nightmare will have him tossing and turning, trying to find the comfiest spot on the bed that seems to have disappeared in the hour or so it took him to be woken by it. Another sleep mumbler. He can actually sleep with his music blasting in his ears pretty easily too!

Kotoha dreams most of the time. She’ll exchange sleep stories with Ume, but hers always seem to be a little tamer than his. Has a diffuser that cycles through colored lights she’ll put on if she has a dream she deems ‘not great’ and a stuffed dragon her siblings got her that guards her dreams on the nightstand next to her bed. Sometimes she’ll have it on the pillow next to her for no particular reason; it’s just soothing (and so soft and cute.)

Before i sign off for the night, let me recount the Silksong Dream that's kind of stuck with me the most, lately.

It was brief, and my memories are hazy. But I remember, the longer Hornet was in Pharloom, the worse it became. Unstable. Magic flowing strangely and causing damage to property and other bugs.

And Hornet, seeing all of this, made a crucial decision; she was going to kill Pharloom. She was going to kill Pharloom...with herself inside.

I really like this blog most of the time, but sometimes you take reasonable earnest asks that are trying to be thoughtful, and are such a dick about it.

Like if it's the characters being dicks, fine. But you could say something in the tags or post to indicate you're not just viciously mocking someone for trying to engage.

I still haven't submitted an ask since seeing your response that led to comments along the lines of "anon should go die in a hole" for asking, pretty reasonably, why harrow would want to stay with people she didn't seem to like or want to be around or interact with.

(i know, because she does like them and does want them around but doesn't know how to show it) but it's an ASK blog. How do we hear that from her unless someone ASKS

i understand it might be surprising and a bit hurtful to see an ask answered with the characters being mean/flippant, and for that i do apologize that it wasnt made clear that it would be a common thing in this blog. id like to issue the disclaimer: there is always the possibility that the characters here will not take your question well. they might answer rudely, and instigating behavior is not only encouraged but expected on both ends. this does not reflect my personal opinions as the artist; there are over 250 asks even after i constantly compile duplicates, and i will answer the asks that i personally like.

i will assume you are referencing the two most recent posts where gideon acts rudely and i repost an old panel: for the former i thought anon was really sweet for being so heartfelt and encouraging, but gideon isnt the kind of person who needs to be told shes brave for doing that by a stranger. it was a simple act of survival. and harrow is still very much in the passive deprogramming phase. the latter response was meant to kickstart (spoilers) what i will call the "dicks last resort" arc, where i clean out the inbox and share more simple, low effort, but potentially rude responses*. this is because i have roughly drawn almost daily for 87 days straight, and would like to recuperate without being burnt out because i love this blog and i love art.

this leads me to my next point: some of these answers will be curt and short and rude, because they are easy to draw. if i only prioritized the "good" asks or to make certain ask responses kinder, or longer, it wouldnt be a daily blog. it would be a monthly blog where 5 asks get answered among 100s. i didnt anticipate people asking about harrows piercings, and i considered shutting it down by just having harrow say she likes them etc. but i did want to give more insight into harrows character even if she wouldnt say so herself, and that took roughly 3 full unemployed nights. if i treated every ask in good faith the same way i wouldnt have time for anything else, because they take more effort and have to be seriously considered for the future. i can retcon their favorite ice cream or play off griddlehark fighting - it takes more to keep track of a narrative about people talking Around their issues

* by rude responses i mean "this will affect the 679ers negatively, much like making your sim 🧑‍🤝‍🧑➖➖ someone" there are a few asks planned to hurt in the same way one drafts a bad end in a visual novel, and this type of interaction is encouraged. of course if you dont want them to get worse dont send asks telling gideon she should flirt with MILFs (you cant send this ask now i already said it), but i encourage the banter.

TL;DR this is the "characters think you are weird for personal questions" blog. i am sorry i didnt warn of the ask-response banter, because i also enjoy drawing these characters being dicks. i do like when aggravation and conflict leads to character development. "how do we get earnest answers unless someone asks" sometimes you will never explicitly get that from them, and thats what the dead ends are for: to let you know to try something else and read between the lines

have been thinking about professor sol even. professor bufo with no clearly discernable lesson plan. sol bufo ostensibly martial arts professor who spent two weeks running a yoga and meditation program and shows up to the next class with crochet hooks for everyone. professor bufo who is technically supposed to be assigning grades to students but hasnt given anyone less than an A because "i think they worked really hard and they did a great job :)" (referring to the ugliest and most malformed pot holder anyone has laid eyes upon in their life). professor bufo who is on his way to cluelessly kickstart the sexual awakening of about half the cohort of the academys new students. sol bufo adjunct professor who is gone half the year and his first class back is so immediately and easily baited into going into a long tangent about how cool his friends are. sol who is pretty sure hes easily the most useless professor on campus and almost cries when he sees his little desk overflowing with thank you notes at the end of the year. professor bufo absolutely fucking gloriously hot in the tightest little sweater vest because there were faculty complaints when he wore a crop top to class.

When Dream finally escapes Pandora there's something off about him. Punz doesn't notice it immediately, maybe they first excuse it as the loneliness and trauma showing it's scars. But as time goes on it gets more and more clear that something just isn't right. Something beyond the trauma. They don't know what, but something has changed, something in the core of Dream that made him, well... Dream. Its hard to explain. Escpessially since Punz isn't quite sure if he's actually right or if it could all just be explained by Dreams trauma.

There are two major thing Punz has noticed:

Dream moves in a different way. He has always been very loud and dramatic, big animated gestures. Constantly pacing and moving. Even during the wars, although maybe a little less. Now, Dream stands eerily still. And when he moves, he does it with an inhuman sort of perfect, moves at a constant speed with a supernatrual preciseness.

When he speaks, the words sound unatrual on his tongue. Punz feel like Dream's stuttering through them, forcing them out of his mouth as if he's dragging them from some far away place that might not even be part of him anymore. But Punz has never actually heard Dream stutter. His words flow seamlessly like water, tone, and pronounciation perfect. Always perfect.

It's a paradox Punz can't understand, and it's making them feel more and more insane.

This is just an idea i got for vampire c!dream after watching arcane s2 and the way Victor acted after uhm thing.. (trying not to spoil anything, even tho it's rly minor). I just think that the feeling of something being wrong or other would be nice for v!dream. Before Punz even gets to know what happened to Dream, aka loosing all of his last humanity and becoming vampire, Punz notises something being wrong. It could be explained by trauma, and some of it might be that, but they feel like something else has changed, something to do with Dream's nature. And they're not wrong🤷
