Hello! Since you also write genshin, I've thought about reader or F!S/O being from Teyvat. But that isnt really the main point. How 'bout their F!S/O is from Sumeru and is strictly bestfriends with Cyno and Alhaitham. How would Trey, Azul, Jade, Floyd, and Jamil feel about their F!S/O having boy bestfriends back at her world? Maybe if they're jealous, reader tries to comfort them by saying that Alhaitham is engaged(to Kaveh)XD Lol
You dont have to do this if its to muchā”
Oddly specific but I like the cut of your jib!
Also can be read as genter neutral, I don't reall mention gender on this one?
Trey, Azul, Jade, Floyd, and Jamil X F!SO from Teyvat
who is also besties with Cyno and Alhaitham
Trey Clover
Well youre from a whole different world! Magic seems to exist in some capacity at least.
He doesn't know what a Zatyun peach or a Sunsettia is.
But he tries v hard to make you things that remind you of home sometimes!
He actually does a pretty good job at it too!
And thats where the issue arives.
Whenever he asks about your homeland he knows he is going to hear about your best friends
He's trying SO hard to be normal about this
Trey loves you so much but, he gets a little jealous!
You've done so much with these two!!!
"And Cyno's jokes are the absolute WORST! I swear some of the things he says are worse than Ace's!" "Oh that's... nice!"
but they're your best friends! He really shouldn't be jealous.
"I still don't understand why Alhaitham is so jacked, like all he does is read books all day!"
He really shouldn't be jealous
"And I'm kind of glad its never too hot around here! Like I know he works primarily in the desert but like put a shirt on sometimes! You know?"
But damm its hard.
He tries to be subtle (not really)
"So have you ever like... done anything with one of these guys?" "What do you mean?" "Like have you dated one of them..?"
oh.... OH!
You laugh at that, he's embrassed "Oh gosh NEVER! They both have boyfriends anyhow! Alhaitham is engaged!" "Oh."
You nod and give him a little kith
Wow he's relieved!
Azul Ashengrotto
He loves learning about you and your home world! Truly!!!
Azul thinks your mind is briliant, you're so smart and quick on your feet due to years of travel!
With travel comes a lot of experiences
a lot.
without him.
He's playing it cool though! suuuper cool
"Oh I remember Alhaitham would never answer anything that wasnt formatted or completed properly! maybe you could do the same? it would certainly free up some time, no?" "Of course it woudl free up some time, dear... But" "buut?" "Well it wouldn't be fitting of my benevolent nature now would it, my love?"
Azul keeps trying to prove he's a better boyfriend than your old friends
He needs you to know he's the best option for you <3
"And could this 'Cyno' make you a delightful seafood pasta like this?" "No, not really, he was more into rice." "I see..."
Oh hey he made you curry and rice
You know, by the way. He is NOT sneaky
After another bout of showing off, you finally say something.
"They have boyfriends, you know?" "huh?" "Cyno and Alhaitham? they have partners. You don't have to be jealous." "Why would I be jealous, dearest?"
DENIER
Denies his jealous to this day but he gets happier after you reassure him.
Jade Leech
Yeah he's super cool about this!
for the most part...
He's extremely interested in learning about the flora in your world!
and he thinks those vishap creatures you compare him to sound rather interesting.
Jade being rather curious in nature comes in handy! since he doesnt seem to get jealous.
His questions are... odd, though. they kind of make sense?
"Cyno once took out like-- 10 guys in like a MINUTE! it was so cool! "Is he that fast in the depths of the sea?" "No-" "I see..."
Sometimes he's a little less slick though
"OH my gosh Alhaitham is so weird about soup! He hates the stuff because it could get on his books of all things!" "Does he consume beverages as he reads? tea perhaps?" "Yeah, sometimes." *Pleased eel noises*
He's just being careful :)
Jade often prefers to dicuss your best friends while in the kitchen. he likes spending this time with you!
And he has his knives and mushrooms at his disposal.
*chop chop chop* "And so Haitham and I used to skip out on akademiya meetings together-" *chopchopchop-* "But Cyno would ALWAYS 'catch' us just before the meeting would actually ends-" *ChopChopChopChop-* "So then he'd bring us to Kaveh, Alhaitham's fiance to-" "He has a fiance?" "yeah, why?" "no reason." *chop~ chop~ chop~*
He's still keeping the information from his... questioning in mind.
Can't be too careful, after all.
Floyd Leech
He loves his shrimpy's stories!!!
He hates his shrimpy's stories :((
Floyd is reaaal conflicted. He thinks you're so interesting! your world seems like fun!! he wants to go there with you.
But not with those men you keep talking about
"So sometimes there are these HUGE mushrooms that kind of act like a launchpad! they're super springy." "Eh? Jade might like soemthing like that... OOOH! do ya think if I throw someone (Ace) on one of those they'd still bounce?" "Yeah they would! one time while going after a criminal, Cyno had to-" "Eeeeh I'm bored. You coming to my next game?"
Subtlety? not THIS eel
He audibly groans when you bring them up sometimes.
But he still loves hearing you talk! so it really confusing sometimesz
"So genius invocation uses 8 elements, 7 from the nations, one is omni. Usually the cards are based off of vision users like Diluc of mondstadt, Arataki Itto, from Inazuma... OH! there is one of my best friend, Alhaitham, he's dendro and Cyno's is electro, its actually" Oh he's no longer looking at you.
You get an idea... "There is one of Haitham's fiance, Kaveh" "Oh really?"
GOT HIS ASS
You're his girlfriend, you know him best.
He's a little less weird about listening to your stories now, he's way more enaged.
He still tugs you closer to him when you mention other men, but thats kind of normal for him now.
Jamil Viper
A confident king? He's not really jealous. He knows he can be better than them.
Plus they're just friends to you.
But in all honestly he like... doesn't care too much about Teyvat.
You're here now, with him. not them.
Don't get him wrong, Jamil likes hearing about what your world!
There's only oneee little thing he doesnt love hearing.
"Sometimes I miss the food from Teyvat... Cyno always made the best Tahchin." "The best you say?" "Yeah! he shaped it like a pyramid every time he made it!" "Have you ever tried mine?" "You make tahchin!?"
He's smug, you'll love his cooking more than that Cyno's.
He serves you a plate of tahchin, golden brown, perfectly seasoned, barberries topping the rounded rice dish "So, what do you think?" "This is so good! I kind of miss the padisarah petals though.."
The hell is THAT?
"Is it... not up to your expectations, my flower?" "No its delicious! I think I just miss the way my friend would make it.."
He's a little grumpy about it!!
Jamil gets kind of huffy with you next time you're together.
He's not ignoring you but just don't bring up food for a while.
Snake man will just respond with "Why don't you ask Cyno." when it comes to cooking for the next day or two...

Also, I've had a hard time with this prompt because it feels like it's skirting along the line of suggestiveness, or is that just me being weird?

Going back in time...
"Stay," a voice whispers as you get up, warm lips pressed against the shell of your ear. "I'll get your drink."
"If only you'd listen to someone else like that," your best friend scoffs the moment you're seated again.
"Hah?" You ask, hackles rising.
"You know exactly what I'm referring to," Mina scoffs yet again, staring you down. Or at least, she's trying.
Your best friend of almost twenty years might just be as bossy as you are, but that doesn't mean you bow to her whims. Like she'd do it for you...
"What are we talking about?" Kirishima leans in, propping his head on his girlfriend's shoulder.
"How my best friend in the world does not listen to me." Mina points one pointy nail at you. "Especially considering I'm the one planning her surprise party."
"Please," you scoff, "like it could have been a surprise. You could never keep a secret from me. I'm just taking care of it."
"Bakugo!" Mina calls for the kitchen where your fiancƩ went seconds ago to get you another drink. "Help me here! Your fiancƩe's still trying to weasel her way into planning her own surprise party."
"Like hell, I'm helping you," Bakugo scoffs, looking down his nose at her. "And if my Baby doesn't trust your taste, I fully trust hers." He leans down to kiss you, pressing the glass into your hands.
"But I'm getting the flowers tomorrow."
"But-" You try to intervene but one look from him has you silent.
"See!" Mina asks Kirishima, pointing at the two of you. "One look and she shuts up. It never works when I do it."
"Yeah, but it's Bakugo," Kirishima offers like it's all the explanation needed.
-
"Do you ever listen to somebody?" Bakugo asks, raspy morning voice cutting through the Silence. You barely keep yourself from flinching, but the smirk on his lips tells you that he noticed. It seems he loves surprising you the most, mainly because you pride yourself in not getting surprised.
"I listen to a lot of people," you claim as you return to checking the Buffet table. You'd asked for Vegan Options and an egg-free dessert for the new secretary. Sweet-tooth, but highly allergic. It happens.
"You hear them," he says, "but you don't listen. Because I definitely heard Yukon tell you that he had the Buffet under control yet you're checking his work."
"And rightly so," you point out. "We're missing the egg-free dessert option."
"So?"
"So? I asked for it. He said he'd get it done. Do I have to do everything myself here? Apparently so."
"Sit down," he orders calmly, and you'd maybe wonder about his lack of temper had you not experienced him being like that around you for the last three years. Apparently, Bakugo turns into the chillest little prankster you could think of, but only around you. "I'll get it done."
You want to say something, but you decide against it. You've seen Bakugo deal with other stuff before, stuff that was definitely more important than getting an egg-free dessert for the new secretary. You know he can get this done.
"Fine," you huff, "But make it quick. I still need to go over the new recruits with you."
"Have I ever kept you waiting?" He asks as he turns away, leaving you flustered.
-
"Maybe we should appoint her for Class President," Sato offers quietly, but not quietly enough. "She's managed to talk Mina down in less than five seconds and it doesn't look like she takes shit from anyone."
"The title of Class President is-"
A loud boom interrupts whatever Iida has tried to say. When the smoke clears, there's only a small force field keeping Bakugo from strangling Kaminari, who looks a lot less frightened than anyone in his position should be.
"Calm down, will you?" You ask, looking down at Bakugo from where you're standing. Keeping up the force field is taking its toll, but you'd rather puke than admit to it. Not in front of Bakugo at least. "Aren't you better than that?"
Surprisingly, that seems to work. He calms down quickly, leaning back in his chair with a scoff. "True." He says, but his blood-red eyes don't leave you. It feels like a Challenge. One you're not sure you'll win.

The Guild's actions during the story are so insane, when you think about them properly, you know? When I first read the arc with them, this moment hasn't really occurred to me, as I was too busy going nuts over finally seeing the names of the familiar writers, but now when I think of that... I am not sure, I comprehend how they managed to achieve such a ferocious reputation. I have already made a little post about how extremely dysfunctional the DOA members are, but at least those guys have a plan, which actually makes sense more or less, even despite the gang using cheatcodes/the Book. The same cannot be said of the Guild however archghhjkn. Like, what the hell were these guys even doing??? XD
So here are just some moments, which weirded me out the most
At first I'd like to address the entire story with everyone's favorite tsundere, Lucy Maud Montgomery. Her introduction leaves quuuuite an impression in the best way and nothing makes me happier than the fact, that she gets a chance to find happiness in the following chapters and actually becomes a reoccurring character! HOWEVER, her entire involvement with the Guild is super odd... I still can't wrap my head around her getting fired. She is a girl with a hella powerful ability, who got taken to the Guild from a terrible, terrible orphanage in order to fight for them in the war for the Book, so not only is she very strong, but she's also immensely dependant on the organisation and wouldn't do anything outside of its interests. Yet Lucy is also put under extreme pressure. As she herself puts it, the Guild doesn't tolerate failures and will kick her out the moment she screws something up.
Later we see that this is exactly what happens, when she messes up her first mission. Fitzgerald himself confirms that, since she failed and revealed her ability to the enemies, she's no longer useful, so now a powerful esper, like Lucy works for free as a... laundress?
EXCUSE ME??? WHEN HAVE THE GUILD MEMBERS EVER DONE ANYTHING, BUT FAIL AND REVEAL THEIR ABILITIES?
Let's be real, these dudes were successful like only once or twice...
This fact not only makes Fitzgerald look like an idiot for wasting such a talented and useful worker, because of one mistake, but also as one hell of a hypocrite, cause he is more than fine with everyone else fucking up. And in case of Lovecraft and Steinbeck: fucking up twice. To add to the oddity, we later learn, that Louisa genuinely cares for Lucy and despite her social anxiety actually stood up for her during the entire story, but even that wasn't enough to change Fitzgerald's mind on the issue, though Louisa is one of the few people, whose opinion he respects. Honestly, this is such a waste of a truly useful subordinate. And speaking of which....
The Guild has never even tried to implement Edgar Allan Poe during the war...
This man is actually rather op when you think of it. He can capture and neutralise literally any ability user in Yokohama (besides Dazai, Mori and Ranpo ofc) just by throwing a book at them. Seriously, as we see with Chuuya, they don't even have to read it, they just need to see the pages. Plus the book can be actually sent via email!!! So why has there been an absolute zero amount of strategies with the use of this ability??? They could actually try to catch Atsushi by sending him such email containing any of Poe's mystery stories and then safely carry him back to their base. And it doesn't have to be just Atsushi, it could be literally any of their enemies. Non-combatant, like Ranpo could use this pretty damn well to his advantage and it doesn't take a genius to understand the potential of the "Black Cat in Rue Morgue". But nooooo, it seems like everyone has just forgotten of Poe!!! (Tho to be honest, I can actually see this situation in a funny extra awfgbfggfjj. Not the main story however) The agency would never even learn of his existence, if he didn't personally decide to try to fuck Ranpo's life up. Like, what does Poe even do in the Guild? He's the master architect and, according to him, the third ranking man in the organization, but we never see him be of any use, so Idk. š¤·š»āāļø Lucy at least got to do something, unlike this poor man.
Then there's the entire drama with the Guild's decision to destroy Yokohama. Where do I even begin...
First of all, Fitzgerald has no way of knowing that Atsushi is going to come to Moby-Dick to fight him. Poor guy is the Guild's primary goal and has already gotten himself captured once, so it would have been safe to assume that the ADA decided to hide him somewhere and not send him on any dangerous missions for the time being. That basically means Fitzgerald could have burned down not just Yokohama, but also the only person, who could actually help him find his precious Book.
But if we're to ignore this, let's also go with Wikipedia then~
"Yokohama is the second-largest city in Japan by population and the most populous municipality of Japan. It is the capital city and the most populous city in Kanagawa Prefecture, with a 2020 population of 3.8 million. It lies on Tokyo Bay, south of Tokyo, in the KantÅ region of the main island of Honshu. Yokohama is also the major economic, cultural, and commercial hub of the Greater Tokyo Area along the Keihin Industrial Zone."
..........................
Good luck making up for the destruction of THIS, Fitzgerald š
And if this in itself wasn't bad enough, most people, including me, tend to forget that all Guild members are actually big shots in the American government, which I think is very sad. Because first of all, can you imagine any of the Guild members actually working as politicians?!! The sheer idea makes me hysterical avshbgj. Like, just consider Lovecraft working as a senator or something. This eldritch horror of a man leaves the ocean once in three years at best LMAO. Second of all, I have a feeling, that the destruction of Yokohama at the hands of influential politicians from a foreign country would have resulted in an international conflict or two~ Like as if random deranged rich Americans arriving in Japan, wreaking havoc over there and destroying the second largest city in the country wasn't bad enough, these Americans just HAD to be super influential businessmen and politicians. Louisa, my dear, I understand that it wasn't your intention, but it's as close to a declaration of war as it can get, you know? Fitzgerald may be ready to do anything to resurrect his dead daughter, but I'm not sure, that the execution of himself and the rest of the Guild at the hands of the Hunting Dogs is something he'd like.
(And here's another funny thing that stems from them being politicians š¤ As @originalartblog wittily pointed out, Fitzgerald wasting all his money fighting sskk has probably resulted in a market crash and recession over in the USA)
I also have some other questions in regards to this entire plan, such as why did they have to waste Moby-Dick just to destroy Yokohama? Yes, it works in the short term, but in the long term they loose a super powerful fortress with the stealth mode and as the practice shows, you better have a safe base, unless you want another lemon freak to blow it all up. I mean, you could just ask Lovecraft to destroy everything for free. Or, if the device is the only way to stop the giant whale from crashing, why didn't Fitzgerald just take it to a far away bunker or something and waited things out there without the need to spend millions of dollars just to survive the explosion? (And it would have been extremely funny, if during the fight with sskk he just threw the device overboard) But I think I have already rambled for long enough already atxhghbgv XD
The Guild is an even bigger mess than the DOA and I think that's glorious š
#the guys stole mafia's building once just to show off and nobody has ever brought it up again#if that's not a true definition of hilarious I donāt know what is š¤#bsd fitzgerald#bsd lucy#bsd louisa#bsd poe#bsd lovecraft#bsd guild#bsd#bungo stray dogs#bungou stray dogs#bsd meta#sort of#bsd francis#bsd spoilers#ticklinglady talks

Hello! Not sure if you share headcanons regarding ships, but if so, then do you have any in regard to Xanace? Feel free to discard this if otherwise ^^
Hello! You know, I donāt think Iāve ever really talked about ships outside of some jokes here and there, but Iāll see what I can do! No Killing Game AU because I donāt know what to do within the KG, and mostly fluff because I'm not an angsty kinda mood :v
Getting Together
-Xander and Ace disliked each other upon first meeting in Hopeās Peak, kinda like canon. You know, Aceās rudeness annoyed Xander, who scared Ace in return.
-Butā¦ they shared classes with Mai, who was hellbent on everyone getting along. Somehow she manages to get them to talk in friendlier terms, and they actually find out they have quite a bit in common. I hope you know enough about Mai for that to make sense.
-They start acting a bit like each otherās impulse control, with Xander getting Ace to back down from meaningless fights and Ace rightfully calling out Xander whenever he gets in too deep in something revolution-related and doesnāt get the help he needs (āwhat? So you think youāre so much smarter than all of us that youāre the only one that can steal those documents? How about you go sleep for the first time this week and I show you how easy it is!ā)
-Ace starts feeling safer around Xander because of his inhuman strength and general protectiveness, and Xander starts feeling like he can relax around Ace. Ace is actually pretty funny when he's not being mean, turns out.
-Ace is actually the one to confess first, and he did it by writing a love letter because he was too scared to say it out loud... prompting Xander to first ask Whit and Arei if they were pranking him, because "there's no way Ace writes in cursive." The misunderstanding got resolved quickly, and they got together.
Fluff
-Ace is uniquely capable of getting Xander our of the worst of moods. If Xander's feeling broody and doesn't wanna talk about it, all he has to do to cheer up is watch Ace's silly antics for a little bit, and he'll be fine.
-Whenever Xander gets pissed off at some form of corruption or another, Ace will join in on the hate, even if he has no idea what the situation is.
-Ace likes calling in Xander whenever he gets scared of something, which is pretty often. There are a few dents in Hope's Peak's walls where Xander threw something at a spider on Ace's behalf.
CW: Eating disorder
-Xander always makes sure Ace eats the right amount and healthily, he's inescapable in this aspect. Funnily enough, Ace actually really dislikes a lot of the food Xander makes (way too spicy for him, it's canon the Rebel eats with a lot of spice), which helps him find the motivation to make proper meals for himself as to avoid being forced to eat those monstrosities. Conversely, Xander actually likes Ace's food... provided he's allowed to add a few metric tons of condiments and spices to it.
CW Over
-Xander gets roped into the Halloween Trio (Veronika-Arturo-Ace) movie nights that Vero drags Ace into. He doesn't actually like horror movies (particularly gory ones), but he enjoys it because Ace consistently clings to him for comfort during the scary parts.
-Xander loves Ace's family, because it's so big. 9 siblings?! He knows it's a little weird, but a lot of them remind him of his own family before they, y'know... so he likes hanging out at Ace's house because it kinda fills that hole in his heart.
-A lot of Ace's siblings make fun of Xander's British accent. He's learnt to accept this. They also make fun of Ace a lot, but they do it less in Xander's presence because he scary.
-So much corruption in the horse racing industry gets exposed, courtesy of Xander. So much.
(I don't actually know how corrupt that industry is but based on a quick google search, and given there's money and gambling involved, I'm assuming "at least quite a bit")
-Arei: "How did Ace Markey get a boyfriend before you?"
Whit: "I guess he was done... horsing around xD" (<- Actually very depressed about this fact)
-David is very supportive, since he wants to support anything his idol friend wants to do. He also happens to be mostly exempt from Ace's insults, since Xander gets sad whenever Ace says something bad about him.
-Ace: "Basically you're stupid and Xander's right."
Min: "Do you have any idea of what we're actually discussing?"
Ace: "No, and I don't need to."
-Xander isn't scared of horses or horse-riding, so he asks Ace if he could take him on a ride some time. Ace finally does it one day, except he rides the horse at Ultimate Jockey speed to get it over with faster.
Xander still isn't scared of horse-riding, but he'll probably never ride behind Ace again.
---
I hope that's enough! Thanks for the ask!
#drdt#ace markey#xander matthews#ask#xanace#damn is that the first time i tag a ship on one of my posts?#funny

Reading SVSSS: Chapter 7
For those who don't know, I am reading SVSSS for the first time and sharing my thoughts!
If you have not read it, there will be spoilers! Consider this a warning.
Also- if you want to follow along, I am aiming to post updates daily. You can find all the posts in the tag bloopitynoot reads SVSSS. You can also check out the intro post for context on my read.
A new day a new chapter! Today we get into the Water Prison. The real question: will Shen Qingqiu actually make it out?
No Charlie pics today, I have been abandoned at my reading/writing station, but I do have tea! Tea today is a blueberry jasmine.
Let's get into it!!!!
What the fuck?! Is this an acid lake? p89
Dang it really is crazy how after two accusations with zero evidence or proof that Shen Qingqiu actually did anything, he get's locked up in maximum security prison. p89
Right now I'm having war flashbacks from MDZS -> another protagonist out here doing their best with the rest of the world just making shit up about them for fun. RE: Little Palace mistress and her delusions of what SQQ did. She literally even says- he didnt say you did anything but I have a vibe. Like what? p91
We are gathered here today to all witness how Shen Qingqiu is once again refusing to acknowledge that he is indeed the Love Interest. Honestly, does anyone ever tell him? I live for the day the system changes his classification from villain to Love interest and actually tells him this. Idk if it happens, but now I need it to happen. Re: "what fit even less was the fact, in the original work, the Little Palace Mistress's refined iron whip had only been used for attacking love rivals" p93
Luo Binghe to the rescue!! p94 just catching that whip
Okay but when SQQ states that something is wrong with the script- is he actually on the path to understanding? or still clueless? I hope he sort of realizes what's happening, because dang this guy has 0 idea Luo Binghe would kill for him p95
OOP. "There is no need for Shizun to be so wary. If I wished to do something to you, I wouldn't need to touch you at all" p96
Re: point above about "is he understanding?" *deep sigh * SQQ has not learned at all and refuses to actively listen. He is still trying to follow the old script p.97. Okay but I do love how this guy is accidentally getting himself (in a weird way) romanced.
I honestly am pretty sure this is a dating sim XD "*to the system* Do you think we're playing a dating sim?!" p99
omg torture via demon blood is horrible. Like this is a worst nightmare, having little bugs in your organs NO THANKS. p101
I'm crying LOOOOOL two options; 1. the fake jade guanyin. 2. [Activate Small Scene Pusher] and gets his CLOTHES ripped off. Bro is now the lead in a period bodice ripper XD p102
*face palm* "Does it just take advantage of Luo Binghe's physiological disgust upon seeing a man's half-naked body?" p104. no my man, it is not disgust
oh no, giving him his outer robe made it more scandalous p104
RIP confirmed that that is the previous canon's sex robe p106
literally everyone has a feeling about what's up. Gongyi Xiao is eyeing SQQ, see's the robe and does indeed assume things about SQQ and Luo Binghe. How stupid is SQQ??? p107
Re: the note from Shang Qinghua to SQQ. Shang Qinghua is also an idiot, this guy had 1 job and that was to not fuck up the mushrooms. he goofed this exponentially. RIP those mushrooms. p109
Welp. Gongyi Xiao is realizing that Luo BInghe may not be as pure of heart as he thought p112
it's so much worse though- he really thinks that Luo Binghe assaulted SQQ and is now helping SQQ escape. p113
meanwhile SQQ is living in his own universe LOL no idea these are the assumptions. Also, IDK what's going to happen when Luo Binghe inevitably see's SQQ in Gongyi Xiao's robe. RIP GYX p115
Okay but SQQ I too would freak the fuck out if I had a walking/wake dream. Meng Mo's realm is no joke. p120-121
Dang Luo Binghe has become so strong. This dreamscape is insane. pp 124-126
again with the clothes ripping. I hope one day they enjoy this consensually. p127 (blessed be this canon for the fanfics)
in which SQQ does not realize that the fight in the dreamscape is indeed not a fight- it is most definitely foreplay. p128
I fucking KNEW IT Luo Binghe was NOT pleased with SQQ wearing Gongyi Xiao's robe. LOOOL. p130
but also I don't know what became of GYX but let's take a moment to remember him, I am sure he did not make it.
oh gosh more tragic SQQ backstory :( p132
I am glad I clocked it in the last chapter. Something was so fishy about the family that took him in and his "betrothal" my heart for SQQ :( :( :( p134
Okay get it Ning YinYing!!!! Re: her talking shit to and about Little Palace Mistress to her face! p138
yes she got slapped but still she did a pretty good job! and her sect siblings have her back.
That is it for today!!
Oh god. ofc we leave on a cliffhanger with a shady guy ready to super saiyan AND the next chapter is ominously titled "Death". I am not prepared for this!
#bloopitynoot reads svsss#svsss spoilers#mxtx svsss#svsss#yall I feel like I am in too deep#I already want to read the fanfics#but I still have two and a half books to get through#also this next chapter :(

Thoughts on Gege bringing back Nobara 5 chapters before the ending.
Man...that sure is a thing that happened. I don't even know how to feel about it. Technically, it's good. I like Yuuji and Nobara team-ups and appreciate the callback to their fight against Mahito. Nobara gets to contribute to the fight against the final villain (even if it's just one hit). But at the same time the exact thing I worried would happen if Nobara came back this late happened. Her being "confirmed" dead in ch 265 by Yuuji thinking about her and all the other loved ones he saw die felt weird, but this isn't any better. She literally came back at the last possible moment. Fell out of the hospital bed and immediately went over to do her thing against Sukuna. They sure are lucky she didn't wake up half an hour later and appears to have no side effects from having been in a coma and transfigured by Mahito.
The timing is just way off. We got two very emotional chapters where both Yuuji and Megumi showed immense personal growth and Megumi just regained his will to live and fight back. Only for Nobara to come in like "lmao why the long faces guys xD" (which only Utahime and Gakuganji are there to hear, who I assume really couldn't care less). This just didn't feel like the right place or time to pull that moment. Yuuji's reveal that he was alive happened in a low-stakes situation where jokes are to be expected and he also did it right in front of the people who mattered. It was set up as comedic. He didn't butt into an emotional moment.
And then there's the problem that Nobara has just been far left behind by the story at this point. She has no personal involvement with Sukuna. Sure, she wants to protect her friends from him, but that is nothing compared to the relationship Yuuji and Megumi have with him. They are all three deeply connected and Nobara is an outsider here. I don't think Nobara and Sukuna ever even met. Kusakabe is more connected to Sukuna than her. There isn't much she contributes in terms of themes, world building or powers either. And there's no time anymore for all that to get established because Sukuna will likely die/be sealed next chapter or the one after and the whole series ends in 4 chapters.
Maybe the next chapter will tie the tonal whiplash between last chapter and this one better together, but that doesn't change the fact that Nobara's character is too underdeveloped to have much of an impact at this point. It still feels like she's simply there to complete the trio and Gege doesn't quite know what to do with her.
#also Megumi regaining his will to live only resulting in a puddle that makes Sukuna trip is a bit underwhelming#especially after we haven't seen much of his emotional development the last 40 chapters either#maybe we will get more on that next chapter...Gege really needs to speed that up tho#asks#jjk spoilers#jjk leaks#jjk 267

Just a little rant about HOW MUCH I FUCKING HATE NARUTO FANBOYS OH MY GAAWWWDDDD besides the obvious reasons (homophobia, misogyny, incels) they worship the shit outta the worse characters ever like Shikamaru and Itachi and Hinata. Like I just saw on the Naruto Reddit (my fault, I know, but I searched something up about Naruto and the first link discussing that was Reddit) and they all used that stupid dumbass filler where Shikamaru was asking his dad about Naruto and why everyone hates him and how he doesn't hate him (even tho in CANON he did š¤) and they all said not only is he a better friend to Naruto than Sasuke ever was but (here we go again) Sasuke's more of a brother š and they also said Sasuke treated Naruto like trash and was the worst friend š¤¦š»āāļø like it's so insane to me the dudebros lack of brain and reading comprehension. Like how do you as a grown ass man not know the difference between what's actually real and what's not about what you're watching? Or maybe it's that they just hate Sasuke so much and how much Naruto loves him and keeps talking about him and how he's his best friend in canon (he said it way too much for me to believe that even these ugly incels couldn't understand) that they'd rather give the credit to someone else that isn't a threat and doesn't make Naruto act borderline homosexual. Oh and they obviously ignore Shikamaru's blatant misogyny and still consider him the best thing ever because why would they care š anyway end rant, sorry. I just hate this fandom š I stay on my side of things mostly (well, other than this one time. But when I do I just rant about it to someone and move on)
Ah yeah itās frustrating isnāt it?Ā
I think itās obvious if youāve read the Manga. I wonder if theyāve only seen the Anime and just donāt bother checking what is canon first. So much is changed from Kishimotoās original. (Has anyone seen that twt discussion on filler? Iād love to read your opinions on it.)Ā
I mean, Hinataās supposed backstory with Naruto is just ridiculous, but I donāt understand why people think Naruto was friends with any of them? Even if itās shown in filler that Naruto was around them or they asked their parents about Naruto... what makes fans say they were friends?Ā
Sasuke was the only one who acknowledged Naruto with a smile and they weren't even friends until much later.
Right before the exams, Shikamaru tells team 7 not to die. Not because heās worried for them, but because he believes theyāre not capable, largely because of his lack of faith in Naruto. While Naruto calls them idiots and insults both Shikamaru and Hinata as he introduces them to the reader.Ā
'A big mouth idiot' and a 'weirdo' (I believe he actually also called her creepy but I can't find the translation, but remember when Kushina told Naruto not to go for a weird girl? She used the same words xD) And then Shikamaru immediately wanted to target Naruto in the forest of death.
Had either of them at any point been friendly to Naruto or whatever, then we wouldāve known here and Naruto wouldnāt have insulted them like he did (as is his right) because he craved a connection more than anything. Itās ridiculous how the Anime at times just blatantly ignores the lonely misery Naruto had to grow up in (ALONE) in favor of these other characters. As if sugarcoating that would make any of them look less bad. And don't get me started on Hinata during that written test because it's no wonder Naruto got so confused and didn't trust her "kindness".
Regardless, I think a lot of Naruto-fans who tend to glorify any of these friendships and extending it for what it is largely do so because they side with a narrative regarding the system and don't get why Sasuke (and others) challenged it in the first place. Brushing it off like it was some evil, selfish thing. I personally like Shikamaru's development and who he is as a character in the end because him showing change might've been very helpful in actually changing the system had they worked towards that. But you know... we'll never know.

Alrighty, I just got to the point of Chapter 13 after they talked to Luke and BOY DO I HAVE THOUGHTS. So , can we talk about how straight up unserious Percy is ? Like you NOTICE that this is a kid. Buddy is out on a mission to basically save the world, going around telling Medusa he and his friends are orphans having been left behind by a circus and sightseeing XD Say what you want but that kid is funny af. Love that for him. The whole Medusa thing was CREPPY tho, like- Grover fr just found what basically is his dead uncle's corpse ???????? That's honestly fucked up. (The Uncle Ferdinand jokes were funny as hell tho) I do hold firm onto the believethat the gods are sort of dicks tho. Like, honestly ? I'm surprised there wasn't a half blood revolution yet ! Those poor children are treated HORRIBLY by their parents ! Not to mention that they also gotta deal with all sorts of monsters just because they are the kids of that one specific god. Ngl if I was a demigod I'd be ready to straight up overthrow the gods. Or atleast sue them for all the child neglect they did. Like, damn there seems to be little to no resentment against the gods on the side of the kids besides Percy. How'd that happen ? Does Camp Halfblood just have really good therapists to deal with all that trauma and to keep the kids from going , idk, crazy ? Or do they just flood them with propaganda ???? Idk, just seems a bit weird to me how everyone seems to like the gods when so far most couldn't care less so far OR are doing the bare minimum. The only thing more surprising to me than the fact that no one hates the gods, is how surprisingly well I can get on with the first-person POV ? Like, I JUST realized that. It's just THAT good. Normally I don't rly like first-person , but honestly this is the biggest expection so far ! Percy's POV is just hilarious. Kinda nervous about his dreams tho, idk what to make of them.......... But also, OMFG GROVER WAS THE GUY WHO BROUGHT ANNABETH. Damn does every character have trauma here ? Poor lad. On the topic of Grover tho, that whole backstory with Pan gives me BIG tingels for my traitor theories. When he went on his little rant about humanity and how they ruined nature, he very clearly called Percy human. He sees Percy as part of a group he seemingly dislikes to atleast some degree.
Grover also has a sort of legacy he thinks he needs to fullfill ? With many (if not all) members of his family having been seekers. Like, what if Pan IS actually dead ? Or atleast in the underworld, and that is why no seeker has ever returned ? Maybe Hades manages to get Grover to betray Percy by offering him Pan ? It is Grover's dream while also being very important to his entier species. It looks like a good motivation for me. Otherwise I rly like the backstory for Grover we have so far. The author did a great job in fleshing him out tbh. He really went from a droky comic-relieve sort of guy to something..... honestly depressing. I really wonder what happened to Pan. But I do think he's most likely dead or somewhere in the underworld, with Hades being the big bad it would think. ANNABETH GOT A HINT TOO THO, during the Luke talk he did mention that you'd have to be invisible to get the Master Bolt. And the Athena Cabin already picked the side against Poseidon when the camp started to splitt. The motivation for her would still stay the same ofcourse, her godly parent. Personally I do still favor Annabeth as traitor, but it could simply be that I just had the theory about her for longer. Honestly both have solid bases for it and I'd be interesting either way. I'm about halfway done now, so I doubt a thrid character will be introduced now to be the traitor. If a new character IS introduced tho, they'd props be the prime suspect for me. But also, thank you Luke for being one of the MOST reliable character in the story so far. Anytime you show off smth good happens for me (either entertainment or more hints for my theory). BUT ALSO HIM CALLING ANNABETH HIS LITTLE SISTER ? ALKQOPĆREINA THAT'S SO CUTE LIKE ????? ugh ngl now I sort of hope it ISN'T Annabeth bc her betraying them would BREAK Luke's heart T-T. Just let them be happy, please. That's all I ask. Let my fav big bro be happy. Please.
#please mark spoilers if you but them into replies/reposts so I can look away ^^#pjo percy#pjo book#pjo fandom#percy jackson#annabeth pjo#annabeth chase#grover pjo#grover underwood#luke castellan#Theories#pjo theory

Firstly: I went through the lyrics to Wonderful Nothing by Glass Animals and it feels like *such* a brujay song!
Secondly: a selection of possibilities for Jason lovingly murdering Bruce
Werewolf transformation type thing. The cure has failed or whatever and it's down to just preventing Bruce from hurting anyone else and Jason's either the one with the guts to do it (if the others are involved at all) or simply the only one around
Bruce extracts a promise, an absolute *vow*, from Jason to kill him if he ever becomes a killer himself. Jason, of course, is the only person Bruce has ever killed (going with the UtRH throat slice being lethal here) and therefore he knows what he has to do
The Gotham War terror chip + Joker gas combo had a more lasting impact and at some point in his recovery/getting worse he goes through all the shit Bruce has pulled and gets it in his head that Bruce Needs To Go. Doesn't mean he can't get Real Weird with it tho
Old age. Bruce is just... very old. Whoever was going to take up the mantel next did so years ago, and Bruce has been living out the retirement none of them thought he'd ever get to see. He can tell that his time is coming soon though and asks Jason to help him go out on their own terms, perhaps with some idea about Jason being the one who deserves to get to do it or something like that.
I hope you enjoy the ideas and have fun writing whether you use em or not :3
-redhoodinternaldialectical writing in from the "main" blog
You are so correct about that song. It was an instant addition to my Brujay playlist! (I also really liked the song on its own too, not only for the ship vibes).
Thank you so much for suggesting it and for the ideas for Jason lovingly killing Bruce... I love all of them and want to write all of them. I thought about this ask the whole time I was working yesterday xD (lol I wrote this on the day after you sent this ask, but I've still been thinking about Jason lovingly killing Bruce for all these days).
I'll start commenting on the last one: Bruce ageing and deciding that he'll ask for Jason's help to go on their own terms is sooooo bittersweet. For this one, I'm thinking that Jason and Bruce found an understanding at some point, and developed a better relationship (one that's not rooted on just Jason making concessions). Jason feels honored for the request, and works to make it painless and quick. I think that with this one I'd go with Jason being, well, less creepy about it all, despite the morbidity of the scenario. Btw, if we consider the immortal Jason headcanon in this situation, this gets even more interesting, because then Jason will have to live with the burden of having killed Bruce for the rest of his life. And who knows how long that will last... Depending on how things went and what kind of understanding they reached, I think Jason would feel motivated to "keep Bruce's memory alive" or something like that. Bittersweet as hell, but strangely more sweet, at least for me :)
Werewolf type transformation: this one can be sooooo rough, because depending on the situation, it could be very violent, and you know... Violence as a form of intimacy and all :) Jason *would* be the one (or at least, the first one) to have the guts to do it, and I don't think he would regret it afterwards, but it would be a burden, and he might blame himself for not finding a third option when he needed one (but that's Jason entire point in UTRH - sometimes there are no third options, so I think that exploring his mental state after the killing could be super interesting). ANYWAY, Jason cradling Bruce against his chest while Bruce dies, and he's trying to be quick about it, but Jason, well, he's a hopeful person despite it all, so he watches Bruce dying, looking for any signs that Bruce's still there (but it would be too late to save him anyway, not that it matters). Maybe Jason tries to off himself afterwards š¬
The vow: Jason is not letting that man go in peace! Do you know why? Because Jason knows that Bruce already killed someone before this vow was made, and he resents the hell out of the request, because Bruce never even noticed that he killed Jason on that fateful night. That, or Bruce knew what he did and didn't care, which would be even worse. I think that for this one, Jason would use a Batarang :3 for the irony (I won't say it's *the* Batarang because as much as I love that idea (for bloodplay) I can't really justify how Jason would have had kept it, since he was too occupied bleeding out, and the building exploded afterwards, possibly destroying the batarang). Just Jason, making Bruce lay against him, and saying sweet things in his ear (for this one, I think it would be interesting if Jason never expressed his feelings for Bruce before but now there's nothing left to lose, so why not?) and being physically affectionate, and Bruce is just. Completely weirded out by it. And then Jason tells him about Bruce having killed him at the end of UTH š„° before cutting his throat. Jason holding Bruce while he bleeds out, telling him that it won't take long, and then he'll be at peace, that it won't be so bad etc, kissing Bruce's forehead and telling Bruce he loves him (and those are the last words Bruce ever hears)... Er. This was what I was thinking about when I made the post š«£
Gotham War one: yeah this one is so cool too, because I feel that Jason deciding that Bruce needs to go after Gotham War would be even believable if DC were not writing Jason in his ear pray love phase. Obviously, he wouldn't actually kill Bruce there, but in fic?? It could be so delicious. Jason still suffering through the effects of the fear chip/joker gas and something going wrong/right. Would he have moments of fear and euphoria while he was planning/doing it? That could be super terrifying to experience for Bruce. Especially nice if this happens after the conclusion of dark prisons, so Bruce thinks he's out of the woods with Jason, and then bam! Murder suicide rendezvous 2.0 (because I think this one also might end in a suicide after Jason kills Bruce...)
Also, separated from the above Gotham War situation, I think an interesting alternative for Jason killing Bruce would be if Bruce used the entire situation with the fear chip to take advantage of Jason (Brujay or platonic), and Jason striking when Bruce thinks he has Jason completely under control.
Anyway, thank you so much for the ask, the scenariosā¢ļø are living rent-free in my head lol. I am currently so unwell about this ship šš

I'm planning on doing a complete redraw of this (primarily to uh... make his torso NOT look weird as shit, I'm trying to make him fat but not like 100% classic eggman body style, just still fatter since I didn't want to copy the movie's skinnier body. But I don't think I portrayed it well here, but I'm still not used to the original classic proportions.), but what do you think? It's my interpretation of eggman's younger appearance before the sonic 1 game.
My idea here is that, like his film counterpart, he had a full set of hair (but he has a man bun instead, referencing the twitter takeover), but his reasoning for shaving his head and growing a full mustache is so he can resemble the man he admired, gerald robotnik.. the outfit is inspired by the films, but I tried to mix in alot of the classic designs elements just to suggest that he loves this style he puts it in most of his outfits up until his SA1-onward appearance
I'm gonna redraw this soon, since the torso just looks really bad, but is this good or... no?
I like it! I like how you gave him the man bun he mentioned in the Takeover XD it looks pretty good on him. I have no issue with the idea of him getting fatter thus coming into his identity with his egg shape more over time, I think it's cool and interesting and it's far better than the idea that he was ever stick thin and was suddenly hit with an immediate drastic change in body type
I also like him growing out his stache and letting it be more free and not as styled over time, less tame and more wild like his personality as he only becomes more openly crazy, as even classic Egg observes in modern Egg in the future hehe. I also hc he shaved his head by choice, at the first sign of balding, but was also happy to look more like his grandfather. Growing out the stache does point to inspiration too
You added a much needed flair to the movie inspired outfits, they look a lot more stylish and not bland like the movie's which is much more Eggman, and I dig what you did with the third to last too. This is a believable progression of his design and definitely along the lines of what I'd like to see if the animated Sonic movie of my dreams happened and they decided to show him in the past. Good job!

My quick personal thought on Noe in VNC manga latest chapter 61.5
(more under the cut)
.
I do NOT think Noe "pretended" to not notice the racism towards Dham in the office because he didn't "want" to accept the harsh reality that his "good" fellows are being bad / racists. It didn't happen...yet, at least.
I'm rather sure Noe simply, sincerely had NO "concept" of the racism ITSELF towards Dham AT ALL. "They probably still don't know their individual name each" was the ONLY and "best" guess Noe could ever make ON HIS OWN, within HIS (extremely limited) "common sense".
Noe does NOT realize the word Dham was being used like a slur purposefully in THEIR context, because Noe believes it's "by definition" not inherently an offensive term. They're Dhams, it's who they are, what's the problem? Vani is a human, so there's nothing wrong to call him human, cuz it's what he is, isn't it? But yeah, it's weird to keep calling all of them as just Dham when they all have their own name, let's fix it now!
Well, Noe does not have the same view / experience as other characters, much less we audience. He tends to listen well, but he's not always good at catching the hints / full context quickly. Of course, Noe hated to be called only "vampire" on and on by Vani in the previous arc, but Vani was clearly super hostile and seriously fighting Noe to death at that time, while this is happening "in peace", so Noe couldn't possibly imagine the people were hostile, "too", just in a different or "softer" form, perhaps? Or Noe failed to notice it because it's not directly about Vani lol
I get that it's very tempting to call Noe "stupid / annoying" etc for not noticing the "obvious" malice. But it's NOT obvious to him, unfortunately; he's plain ignorant and oblivious for real, because he literally has had NO chance to learn until now. He can't magically know what he doesn't know. He isn't even a genius character. This is the first time Noe witnessed the subtle and explicit racism, and honestly...I highly doubt if even now he truly understands that he watched people being openly bigoted and that it's never from their "innocent ignorance" as he first believed. Sadly, it indeed doesn't help that those people are the ones who Noe does NOT see as an enemy.
Noe never heard of Ruthven, who "can't" be unknown to anyone. Noe genuinely believed everyone else (Vani & Domi) was lost, when it's actually him alone who was lost. This is the Noe we're talking about!
Shapeless One didn't teach Noe anything about Dham and the prevailing racism (which is surely suspicious and irresponsible). It seems he at least didn't tell Noe that Dham should be oppressed / hated, and thankfully Noe has grown up not to discriminate people merely for race. Since he arrived in Paris, Vani has never bothered Dante and others for being Dham in front of Noe, either. But yeah, now Noe should get to know more and face the unjust reality that the Dham has to deal with.
"Noe should've known better because, Archiviste!!" I feel he believes that it's NOT the same and mostly the matter of the "rightfully creepy" (he thinks) "ability" of the memory-reading (for now, at least). When you think about it...no VNC character has negatively reacted to Noe for being Archiviste so far (and like, most of them barely know in detail or get interested a little) - except Vani XD and we all know Vani currently doesn't care, as long as Noe doesn't try to drink his blood. Astolfo hated Noe, but it's because he equally hates any "vampire".
However, in regards to Dham, people are loudly making "the existence ITSELF" a huge problem, including their mere "appearance" difference. People "discuss" their "right to exist", which is similar to Jeanne, Bourreau, the slaves. Yeah, I suppose Noe has been kinda "lucky" not to be the target of discrimination...until now. I won't be surprised if Noe still doesn't understand what makes Dham "deserve" all the disgust when they don't even have any "disgusting" ability "like his". I'd like to also add that...Noe might've been safe solely thanks to his (problematic) "guardian" Shapeless One, the (in)famous & powerful vampire that no one can casually ignore, similar to Ruthven ^^;;
In short, I think Noe did NOT "forcedly" "choose" to "ignore" the racism and try to make an "excuse" for his "cannot-be-racist" fellows "instead"; how can he "choose" to believe "otherwise", when he doesn't even notice the deep racism "specifically" towards Dham in the first place? Though I can agree that it'd be hard for Noe to properly process what's going on in the office because he unconsciously believes the fellows he trusts wouldn't be "weird" or "malicious" to other fellows "for an unreasonable reason".
.
This was written quite quickly, and I might regret it and remake a similar post later...or not XD
Thank for you reading my current personal opinion!!

So I found this around, can I ask for Keith/ Lance or Draco/Harry?
ā„ Send a ship and I'll give you who:
- Gives nose/forehead kisses
- Gets jealous the most
- Picks the other up from the bar when theyāre too drunk to drive
- Takes care of on sick days
- Drags the other person out into the water on beach day
- Gives unprompted massages
- Drives/rides shotgun
- Brings the other lunch at work
- Has the better parental relationship
- Tries to start role-playing in bed
- Embarrassingly drunk dancer
- Still cries watching Titanic
- Firmly believes in couples costumes
- Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas
- Makes the other eat breakfast
- Remembers anniversaries
- Brings up having kids
How fun :D I've never done one of these. Let me think for a moment.
Okay, first of all, I think Klance and Drarry are very different ships. Klance is competitive and sweet and they have a best friend dynamic while Drarry is competitive in a little more hostile way. They are more distanced, I think and have less physical intimicy because they seem more verbal to me. They are also far more complicated, I think. And chaotic. Klance is more of a rivalry while Drarry is literal enemies who hate that they like each other. I hope that makes sense. 1. Gives nose/forehead kisses a) Klance is a competitive idiot in love with a socially awkward wall. I think both could initiate either of these things. It makes a difference who does it though. If Keith initiates it, then Lance will automatically try to one up him in doing it more often or surprising Keith with it. If Lance starts it, then Keith will try to copy it because he thinks Lance is socially more competent and therefore knows how to do romance. b) Drarry: Either could initiate it but it wouldn't be soft because they would do it to annoy each other more often than not. I think Harry is the more affectionate one, so he's more likely to do it in an affectionate manner when they are alone.
2. Gets jealous the most a) Klance: Lance is LOUDLY jealous, Keith SILENTLY. Both are jealous types but Keith is more mature about it. b) Drarry: Draco. He WILL deny it though. Harry is smug about the fact that Draco is far too loyal to ever betray him.
3. Picks the other up from the bar when theyāre too drunk to drive a) Klance: Keith. Keith doesn't drink while Lance definitely does b) Drarry: Ron XD No seriously, Draco and Harry will drink each other under the table and think it's a good idea to apparate in that state. And Ron is the only person who will pick them up. Hermione just thinks they don't deserve the help if they don't drink responsibly and Draco's friends think it's funnier to watch them be shitfaced.
4. Takes care of on sick days: a) Klance: Both b) Drarry: Both... but I think Draco has to do it more often because Harry is a Gryffindor and Gryffindors get into weird situations all the time
5. Drags the other person out into the water on beach day a) Klance: Lance . Keith doesn't need much conviction though. b) Drarry: Harry. Draco is worried about his flawless skin XD
6. Gives unprompted massages a) Klance: Lance because Keith is always tense b) Drarry: Harry but Draco runs away whenever he does it because Harry is shit at it.
7. Drives/rides shotgun a) Klance: Depends on where they are going and what they are driving with. (Both are pilots, it only makes sense this translates to other vehicles). b) Drarry: Harry. Draco can't drive and even complaints that Harry does it because it's something muggles do. (He enjoys it anyway)
8. Brings the other lunch at work a) Klance: Lance will probably do it first and Keith tries to copy him. b) Drarry: I don't think Draco can cook. So, I'd say Harry but I'm also sure that Draco would kick him out of the office if THE Harry Potter showed up to give him a lunch box. He'd never hear the end of it from his coworkers. I would say that Harry teaches him how to cook instead. (And Harry can cook, he had to do it at the Dursleys place. AFTER Draco learned to make decent meals, he'd prepare a to go box for Harry once in a while and they would both never mention it because it's more intimate then either of them are comfortable with making fun of.
9. Has the better parental relationship a) Klance: Lance. Keith is working on his relationship with his mom though. He's also better with kids, but Keith comes around. b) Drarry: Drarry has a better relationship with his own father, simply because he had one and after reading the cursed child, I have to say he's a better father too. Harry is too lax with his children while Draco smoothes out the problems of his own childhood. It's not entirely fair though because Harry's parents are dead, the people who raised him suck and yeah. It kind of depends on how you define parental relationsip in his case.
10. Tries to start role-playing in bed a) Klance: Lance b) Drarry: I kinda think that role play is the only thing they actually do, otherwise they'd be weird about it.
11. Embarrassingly drunk dancer a) Klance: Lance is the only one who drinks but Keith doesn't think it's embarrassing. (At least not much) b) Drarry: Harry. And he'd drag Draco into it
12. Still cries watching Titanic a) Klance: Lance b) Drarry: Draco
13. Firmly believes in couples costumes a) Klance: Lance b) Drarry: Harry. And only to embarrass Draco because Draco is convinced he has STYLE, while Harry is a vagabond.
14. Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas a) Klance: I really had to think hard about it. I think Lance will break it more often but in small magins. While at some point, Keith will get frustrated and decide *fuck it, Lance deserves everything* and then gets him the biggest gift ever and Lance nearly has a heartattack. b) Drarry: What can I say? Both. They one up each other every year.
15. Makes the other eat breakfast a) Klance: Same as the forehead kisses. Both will do it, but Lance is most likely to do it first. b) Neither.
16. Remembers anniversaries a) Klance: Lance is SUPER fixated on them. He never forgets a single one and announces them weeks before they happen. Except for his own birthday. Keith doesn't boast about it as much, but he also remembers every single anniversary and is the first to congratulate Lance for his birthday, every year. b) Drarry: Draco. Harry doesn't think they are that important. He doesn't even remember Draco's birthday, but he never forgets their anniversary.
17. Brings up having kids a) Klance: I think this has an order. Lance would talk about WANTING to have kids one day in previous relationships or around friends but Keith is the one who brings it up when they are together. b) Drarry: Draco. As a joke. (I have to say that, it's a scene in the fanfic I'm working on. I just did both of them XD I suppose under certain circumstances these could be different but that's my first instinct. It was fun. Thank you for the task, anon.

Critical Role, Campaign 3 Episode 100 (Downfall Part Two!)
ACTUAL SAM ad nonsense, this time. Okay, then ... awwwwww ... this is actually really cute ... Liam: "You're the fakest person I know ... you don't have a genuine bone in your body ..." LOL Yeah, that's it, nice save. That was actually quite adorable, even if Liam WAS a little ... less than SWEET with his choice of words. I'm looking at YOU, O'Brien. (I am joking, of course, for those who DON'T get irony ...)
Oh yeah, in truth Sam really HASN'T lost his touch and it's great. Even though it's at Marisha's expense ... XD
"And there's a POCKET!" The way Laura said that was too good ... LOL
Yeah, I expected the stand-up from Matt this time ... hello again, Brennan ... and he's as geeky as ever. I love it ... "Everyone's laughing it up but I am DEADLY FUCKING SERIOUS, okay?"
Chamber of Secrets? Yeah, no ... Brennan: "HBO! No, no, I'm sorry!"
So, the first roll of the evening ... 30? Blimey ... off to a great start, definitely ...
Oh, she's a JOLLY little halfling, isn't she? Yeah ...
The Emissary: "You. Made. Her. Saaaaaaad ..."
What happened in Vasselheim? That didn't sound good ...
An object wrapped in cloth? Something new, seemingly hidden but not well? Oh, that's suspicious. Careful with that, Ayden ... a prayer to "the family that we used to be" ... hmmm ... oh ... that's interesting ... someone's prayed to the Dawnfather here? Recently?
Hallis? Who's that?
An ARCHMAGE?!!! Intriguing ... oh, so it was to the Everlight? also interesting ... so it IS a book of the gods ... a really really OLD one ... whoa, this is PRE-Age of Arcanum? Wow ...
Locate Magic? Or a tracking spell? Hmmmm ...
Umleta: "Is this part of the plan, or are you asking me for a favour?" Trist: "Yes."
Oh yeah, go Raven Mother about-to-die second sight ... aha, so is this kid still alive? Is this something that Emhira COULD fix?
So there's a hospital close? That must be it, then ...
Yeah, I was thinking this too ... if they win an ally in this, they could circumvent a lot of greif in this plan ... Trist's plan could definitely make things a liot easier for them ...
Ayden: "I'm having a difficult time, I like him but also quite despise him ..." Taliesin: "Welcomg to Thanksgiving!"
Disperse and split up, then ...
Sphere of Invisibility. Okay ...
Oh ... a tragic love story? And I was already so compelled about Asha ... also I'm definitely liking that she's bonding with the Emissary ...
The Emissary: "Her first forest ... for you ..." Asha: "That would be a better gift. How typical."
Yeah, she really is hungry ... EVERYTHING'S hungry, apparently ... hmmm ... O.O
Wait ... a SENTIENT lock? Weird ... oh, is it some kind of Aeormaton? Cool ... did it just FLIRT with SILAHA? Interesting ...
Chorus? Okay ... of boy, wow, SILAHA is definitely a little too into this particular facade, aren't they?
So it's some kind of bizarre Aeormaton speakeasy? Weird ... and it's a bit kinky too, apparently ... O.O
Umleta: "You are a clown." SILAHA: "Go join the circus, then."
Apparently SILAHA is having trouble letting go ...
That Aeormaton/elven lesbian engagement was incredibly romantic, ain't gonna deny ...
Oh yeah, 4X is fascinating already ... a stiff? Hmmm ... milk and honey? Sounds suspicious ...
Crap ... the imp is onto them ... Emhira: "Imp ... in my boobs ..." SILAHA: "Oh dear ..."
Slith ... hmmm ... I would already die for this adorable little letch ... clearly he likes Emhira VERY MUCH ...
Command? Oh, here we go ... Wisdom save of 19? Okay ... nice ...
A planetar? So definitely an angel, then ... and SILAHA already has them under his thumb ... oh ... for one round only ... crap ...
Roll Initiative? OF COURSE ...
Hold Monster? Nice ... good choice, Abubakar. Brennan saves ... Abubakar: "I'm gonna use a Lucky!" Of course you are. XD
Shadow Blade and Boots of Haste combo means Laura gets another action ... so Emhira hacks away! 29 DEFINITELY hits ... 12! OF COURSE this thing bleeds gold ... and she's a Warcaster? Wow ... second attack, then ...
SILAHA is going to LITERALLY bend the reality of the space around them to trap this guy ...
Wow ... so that LITERALLY just ended JUST LIKE THAT ... cool. Yeah ... OF COURSE nobody else REALLY saw that ...
Meanwhile the door LITERALLY SWALLOWED the angel ...
Oh yeah, those two demons WOULD just brick it, wouldn't they? Nice defuse, at least ... and that's a break then so Brennan can take a dump, I suppose ...
Over to Trist and Ayden, then ...
Somehow I doubt he really NEEDED to PRAY n order to melt that lock ... mostly he was just doing it to be an arsehole, I reckon ...
Emergency, yeah ... definitely the smart word in THIS environment ... 21 persuasion? Yeah ... not here? I kind of doubt that ... and it doesn't SEEM like it either ... another persuasion check? 25 this time ... Ashley's rolling HARD tonight ...
Archmage Previn? Okay, there we go then ...
Oh, this play is FANCY, yeah ...
Here he is, then ... poor kid's in a STATE, clearly ...
Graygill's Wasting? Sounds nasty ...
Aha! This would be Previn, then ... Cassida? Yeah, first names might be smart right now ...
The book? Oh, okay ... that's a risky move ...
Okay, yeah, figured she was a worshipper.
Oh yeah, get rid of that cranky git ... Milo: "It ever follows."
Trist uses Lay On Hands to remove his disease ... is this actually gonna work? Oh shit ... is she too broken for it to really succeed? Hmmm ...
That's right, Previn, you're in the presence of the Everlight herself ... so the kid's HEALED and now has 70 hit points ... wow ... O.O
Hallis: "I'm hungry ..." Yeah, you bet his mum just bursts into tears ...
Milo! You massive prick! Teach him a lesson, Ayden.
Channel Divinity? So Ayden's just on a healing tour, then ...
Well, that seems like a very ... humbling lesson ...
So ... Archmage Previn is DIRECTLY involved in this great undertaking of Aeor against the gods, then? So this is potentially a VERY helpful development, then ...
Wait ... is she trying to SABOTAGE this weapon?
The Society of Primes? Sounds helpful ... maybe they DO have some allies here, then ...
Oh dear ... yeah, this might NOT work out how they'd like after all, then ... oof ...
Back to Asha and the Emissary, then ...
A lone single tree ... at once beautiful and foreboding, really ...
One more hour of their Sphere of Invisibility ... so maybe just try a stealthy infiltration, then ...
"A gift of the Golden Scythe ..." Hmmmmm ...
Well now ... at least the little things know to honour their patrons ... but also I feel VERY SORRY for these poor tiny birds, this is a HORRIBLE place to be trapped in ...
Yeah, looks like being sneaky IS the smart move right now, then.
Oh, that's just SWEET ... see, nature isn't ALWAYS cruel ...
And now the tree's talking to her too ... O.O
Brennan: "It is not only humans that worship." Yes indeed ...
Holy fuck ... Asha just made the tree SPLIT THE WALL OPEN with its roots. That is a fucking FLEX right there ...
Asha takes a twig from the tree for later ... ALSO smart ...
The Emissary: "Bird ... she bares her teeth ... but I know what Mother sees in her."
Tishar cleaves the pipe open and starts burrowing into it ...
And now we're back to Emhira and SILAHA ...
So ... questioning the angel, then ... they followed their commander here? So ... this is NOT the rebel angel that came here to offer up secrets, then? Interesting ... but clearly they are still a moody shit ... hmmm ...
SILAHA's actually trying to SUCK THE ANGER right out of them? Interesting ... 9 on a Charisma check? Oof ... yeah, that's roundly rejected, then ...
Acastriel? Is that the traitor, then?
So that happened, the ... the angel just CUT ITS OWN HEAD OFF ... lovely ...
Oh dear ... yeah, so Garathran, the angel, is now FACE TO FACE with the ACTUAL Matron of Ravens on the other side ... yeah, they done fucked up after all ...
Yeah, they are SCARED now, clearly ... but she's being SO SWEET even when she's bracing them for information ...
Here we go, then ... the much needed infodump ...
A DRAGON?!!! Sweet fuck ...
The bottleneck and the breaking point indeed ... the information HASN'T gone out yet ... so they COULD just nip this in the bud right here ...
They just vanish in a puff ... and all the knowledge floods into her instead ... yup ...
It's all happening ALL AT ONCE!!! Yeah ...
And meanwhile Taliesin and Noshir have to roll Initiative ... CRAP!!! Oh, now he's getting EVERYBODY to do it instead ... okay then ...
So they burst out of the pipe into a chamber ... oh dear ... two massive constructs bar the way ... crap indeed ...
Yeah. Kill the Archmage, then ...
The Emissary charges their energy up and makes a dash for the mage. The closer construct swings and VERY MUCH misses as they pass ... attack as a BONUS ACTION?!!! Holy shit ... two big axes form one larger weapon and they CHUCK IT at the mage ... holy fuck this weapon cleaves CLEAN THROUGH the sudden shielf spell and cuts right into its target ... a rune that says "Denial"? No shit ... 11 damage, but with Scales of Justice he's also grappled and dragged ... so another 12 points, 23 altogether ... nice ... next attack which ALSO hits with a 28 ... holy fuck ... more axe action, then ... 12 points of damage this time.
The Emissary: "REPENT." Oof ... O.O
So Emhira and SILAHA have to get to the Engine under the Scribe, then. HOW?!!!
Emhira sends her raven, Dearest, through the pipe into the chamber ... okay, then ... Arcane Gate? Oh yes, nice one indeed ... so there's a portal RIGHT where they want to be, then, and she steps straight through ...
So she's right in the thick of it, then, and SILAHA casts Dimension Door in order to directly follow her.
Clockwork Cavalcade? Sounds FANCY ... yeah, DO THAT!!!
Abubakar: "Gimme two seconds ..." Oh fuck yeah ... yes, that's EXACTLY it ... SILAHA literally just PACMANs the fucking Scribe and ALL of its data ... fucking SWEET ...
A poem so beautiful it could convince reality to kill a god ... holy shit ...
Zaharzht hobbles in and casts Silence on the Archmage ... all the sound leaves the room ... hmmm ... two Counterspells from the constructs fail SPECTACULARLY ... yup, no verbal components, then ... essentially he can therefore now do FUCK ALL ... XD
The Archmage manages to slip free from the grapple, but gives the Emissary an attack of poortunity ... the mage gets out of the range of Silence and dumps a Misty Step to flee ...
The group at the hospital are currently very much OUT OF THE FIGHT ... hmmm ... so Arcadia casts Teleport and just jumps ALL OF THEM into the room ... okay, then ...
Trists casts Guiding Bolt on the Orb ... nice ... Nat20! Yeah! Double damage, then ... 8D6? Wow ... 36 points of Radiant damage! BOOM!!! Advantage on the next attack, then ...
Awwwwwww ... Topher gave her a little slingshot? That's so sweet ... she casts Blinding Smite on it, then holds her position for whatever's next ...
Which is a construct coming right at her ... oof ... she takes 44 POINTS OF DAMAGE in a single hit ... fuck ... and she just TAKES IT ...
Zaharzht takes a hit too ... and has to make a concentration save to maintain the Silence ... which stays ... phew ...
Asha runs round, lands on the Emissary and reaches into them, pulling out a rusted metal ring, produces a vine of briatwood, and forms them into a really nasty spear ... she spots the mage just in time before he emerges from Misty Step and attacks ... 24 to hit ... effortlessly bypassing the Shield, she inflicts a monstrous amount of damage and completely STUNS the fucker ... following through, she batters the prone body and then delivers a Flurry of Blows ... ouch ... HDYWTDT indeed ... yeah, she just rips his throat right out with her bare teeth ... O.O
Tishar rushes in, sees the Orb's already fucked up, and Rages as she starts battering it ... 38 points of damage, then ...
Ayden points his staff at the Orb and hurls a Guiding Bolt at it ... 30 to hit? Oooof ... 20 points of Radiant damage ... then turns to Tishar and says: "It's taking you that long?" before granting her an Additonal Attack ... fuck, REALLY?!!!
Oh, nostalgia ... hmmmm ...
She smashes it to pieces ... oh yeah, this shit EXPLODES, definitely ... both the constructs just instantly go inert and that's IT for the fight...
Wind? Hmmm ... osh shit, wait ... yes, of course, the gates are open as the gods are starting to come in ...
Meanwhile they all pile through Emhira's gate and leave the chamber behind ...
And that's IT!!! Branna calls it a night ... roll on next week, then.

This has been by far the hardest ask I've ever sent, I'm still not fully convinced you didn't ban mobile-me or something šš
Technical issues aside, to the actual ask!
There is a lot there I'm curious about! I'm not even touching Umbara tho, no thanks, still not over it the winner is: Western AU outline! š I'm in a yeehaw mood š
LOL I don't know why my tumblr wouldn't let you send an ask. I swear you're not banned!
The Umbara one is actually funnier than you would think. It's an abandoned wip at this point, but I still think the premise is just weird enough to be interesting. It's an isekai fic where the reader wakes up on Umbara during that arc, knowing everything that's going to happen and trying to prevent it. I just really wanted an excuse to meet real life Fives and be surrounded by clones
The Western AU! It's a Cad Bane x Reader fic, so I'm not sure how much you'd be into that XD I haven't gotten far with it yet, so I'll just give you a quick rundown of the plot:
Reader gets held up during a train robbery by the outlaws Moralo Eval and Cad Bane. Eval decides he likes her as his prize, and Bane doesn't have time to argue the point about taking hostages.
They tie her up and take her with them back to their camp. Eval wants to "claim" his prize, and Bane tells him to knock off with that shit.
Eval doesn't, and Bane shoots him.
Reader expects she'll be next, but instead, Bane gives her Eval's horse and tells her to leave. He'll have moved on by the time she can alert the law, and now he gets to keep all the loot for himself.
"Ain't no use shootin' a pretty lady. Waste of a sweet, warm body."
So he's not exactly a gentleman, but he doesn't hurt her, and he lets her go. She keeps thinking about that, even after she finds a nearby town and tells the sheriff (with very poor directions back to the camp), and even after she returns home, safe and sound. To a cold house and an even less warm husband.
She thought that was the last she would see of the outlaw, until one night when she notices a light on in the barn.
#cad bane x reader#star wars#western au#star wars western#outlaw cad bane#doublesunsets#that's as far as i got but pretty much reader is going to run off with a sexy outlaw

Hi! So I was skimming through your asks and found this interesting take of yours about Phoenix (this post: https://www.tumblr.com/azalawa-scroggs/737318755002171392/take-about-ace-attorney?source=share) I don't actually disagree with it, but combining this to the ask you sent me some days ago about AA tackling the theme of corruption I am curious: would you consider Gregory Edgeworth a bad lawyer as well? Since he too puts too much emphasis on his client's innocence and the trust (well, as much as we've got to see him anyway). That's very resembling of Phoenix's mindset (maybe not, since it's been a while I played Inherited)
Also, again, this puts Ray Shields into an interesting contrast between Phoenix (the main hero who should do good things and defend good people for the drama to work) and Gregory. Ray chooses to defend guilty clients but ensure they will be tried fairly, which is more or less how a real life lawyer operates. This difference in the approach with Gregory is especially interesting since Gregory was his actual mentor
So I'm really curious how would you expand your opinion to the other two lawyers!
Hahaha thank you! I had completely forgotten that ask. To tell the truth, it was probably phrased that way because it was a "hot take" game - I don't know if I would say Phoenix is a very bad lawyer any more, although I certainly wouldn't put my fate into his hands, unless I was 100% innocent and I had no idea how the murder happened, which is... kind of an extremely specific thing to happen and it's really weird it happens so much to Phoenix!
A thing I forgot/didn't get to say in the ask is that one of the reasons I think Phoenix is a bad lawyer, on top of him only straight up refusing to defend guilty clients, is that he simply doesn't seem to know the law. I'm actually surprised I didn't mention it because that's... kind of the biggest thing - a lawyer needs to know the law, that's the basis of his job xD This is of course due to the gameplay - you can't expect every player ever to know the law, so you have to introduce the pieces of (fictional, on top of it) legislation somehow, so your POV lawyer comes across as not knowing the law. And still... can't say your own client handing you a textbook of Evidence Law For Dummies is an excellent look xD (this refers to 1-5, Lana Skye gives that to you before the last day of the trial).
He also not only refuses to take on guilty clients but... actually seems to have a moral stake in not taking guilty clients. I actually don't have a problem with a lawyer who refuses to take guilty clients, like, people do what they want. It's that the way Phoenix reacts to the possibility seems to imply that he doesn't know how to do anything but to plead not guilty (whether because he actually doesn't know the law, or because he's too invested in his clients' fate to accept anything but an acquittal; in both cases this isn't really great). However, this one is actually irritating, because the only reason we know this is how torn he was defending Matt Engarde - but the thing is that Matt Engarde was a blackmailing piece of shit who didn't give Phoenix any choice regarding legal strategy; it was "get me an acquittal no matter what you must do for it," which is obviously a terrible position to be stuck in. So it's impossible to say how he would actually react to this in normal circumstances, although imo he does put a bit too much emphasis on his clients' innocence as a general rule.
Anyway, to actually answer your question now! Spoilers for AAI2 ahead, specifically The Inherited Turnabout.
Regarding Gregory's legal philosophy; there's one line from Gregory which I think is a bit weird - "as long as you are innocent, we'll see to it that you receive a fair verdict" - which is weird to say; even if he's guilty he should receive a fair verdict, because a guilty verdict would be fair in that case. Honestly, I'm willing to put that more on the translation than anything else, but it's still there, so. Yeah. Definitely not a point on his favour. Another thing is that Gregory accepted to take Masters' case before talking to him and asking him whether he did it; which implies that Masters' innocence matters more to him in terms of legal strategy than in terms of his decision to defend him or not. So it's actually quite unclear what his philosophy regarding all this actually is.
Truth be told there just aren't enough elements to say if Gregory shares Phoenix's views imo. They both think that trusting in your client's innocence is a good thing and honestly I don't have issue with that; if your client tells you he's innocent, then trusting him when building your case is probably a good decision. For the rest, on one hand we never saw Gregory faced with the prospect of defending a guilty client the way we saw Phoenix, on the other hand the guilty client Phoenix was faced with defending was a blackmailing scumbag who didn't give him the choice of his legal strategy. So it's really hard to compare them on that front. Just because Phoenix is the hero of this franchise, and it'd be weird for the narrative to suddenly shift gears, I'm tempted to say Gregory probably shares Phoenix's views indeed, but that's really hard to tell with certainty. I'm also unsure how much he shares Phoenix's views. Phoenix has... a bit of a saviour complex that Gregory doesn't exhibit himself in that one single case. Besides, like you said, Raymond Shields, who's Greg's apprentice, seems not to care whether his clients are innocent or guilty before defending them, which makes me wonder how important this was to Gregory at all.
As to the knowledge of the law... we never see anyone hand Gregory a law book, which is a point in his favour but also not an absolutely airtight case xD There is also the fact that a lot of his legal strategy with Mr. Master seems to rely on procedure. This is, of course, also dictated by the plot; we know from previous canon that he was the one lawyer to call out Manfred von Karma on his use of forged evidence. He also teamed up with Badd in order to get evidence that Jeff Master's confession was obtained under duress. So that already demonstrates a better understanding of the law than Phoenix.
Honestly, this is all just tiny details, because we just don't know enough about Gregory for me to really pass a judgement. Going solely by what little we know, though, I have to say that, even though Gregory lost the only case we know he had while Phoenix won every single case save for one, I'd probably trust Gregory to handle my case more than Phoenix.
This ask is already WAY too long but regarding Ray: I actually think he's not a very good lawyer either. Yes, he takes on guilty clients; however if the way he handled Patricia Roland's case is any indication, I'm not super sure he's actually acting in their best interests. It's a bit of a thorny problem, because on one hand, yeah, Roland was guilty, it's just that someone took away the evidence, and Ray was fully aware of that. Morally pretending the evidence had never been there wouldn't have been honest. On the other hand he didn't just refuse to ignore evidence he knew was there and had been stolen; he actively helped everyone else stall for time so that she could be declared guilty - ethically this is nooot great either imo. You want your lawyer to be in your corner, to try to get you the best deal possible even if you're guilty. However this has to be contextualised too, because no one's actions in that moment is really really great xD Judge Courtney acting as if she had no knowledge of the evidence whatsoever and deciding to hand down a not-guilty verdict instead of adjourning the court until the evidence could be found wasn't great - but then there was blackmail involved which makes everything more difficult and delicate to handle - This is, once again, just one case and it's super difficult to generalise one character's stance or skills out of one case like that.
The reason for all of this is of course plot, because this is a mystery story this isn't actually a legal story. Tbh as fun as it is to try and analyse how well all those characters would fare in our legal world, I'm starting to feel a little out of my depth, because I'm once again not a lawyer, and it's actually SO hard to compare those characters when they're acting within a story such as Ace Attorney, where the principle is that the right culprits must be found and the guilty parties must be punished. It's super interesting to think about it! But I'm not sure how many conclusions we can actually draw xD
#Ace Attorney#Phoenix Wright#Gregory Edgeworth#Aza talks too much#Thanks for the ask! This whole thing is so interesting to me#sorry I barely talked about Ray#but we barely see how he operates too
