Kid is asking the hard questions now. She wants to know if the King and Queen of Anniera only had one child, who would be the next King?

Sometimes, when the Flash walks into a room that Batman is already in, he gets the most bone-chilling glare he's ever received in his life. Like he's never been so sure of his imminent death, even though he knows Batman doesn't kill. Then one time, he watched Wally run full speed into Batman (who didn't even budge, by the way) and he nearly burst into tears, sure he was about to watch his nephew get eaten or something. But Batman just grips Wally by the shoulders to keep him from falling over and grunts. Wally grins sheepishly, gives a little "Sorry, B-Man", and runs off. Barry blinks, trying to comprehend what he just saw, and opens his mouth to ask, when Batman turns and stares into the depths of his soul. Next thing he knows, Barry's on the other end of the Watchtower, and he's not sure if he ran or if Batman can just do that.

Oliver is pretty sure the Bat has it out for him. He's not sure why, as far as he can remember he's never done anything, but it definitely feels a little personal when Batman points out the flaws in every plan Oliver contributes. The only reason he doesn't leap across the table and demand answers is because he likes living, thank you, and he's pretty sure Batman could literally bite his head off. But then, on a day where Roy happens to be at the Watchtower at the same time is Oliver, Oliver corners him for a meal. Batman is a table near them with Wonder Woman, and Oliver can make out pieces of a plan they're working on as he eats. Suddenly, Roy's chair screeches as he pushes it over to their table. Oliver doesn't even have time to shout a warning, barely has enough time to grab his bow (useless as it may be against whatever it is that Batman is) before Roy is offering a plan suggestion. But Batman doesn't devour Roy's head in a single bite, no he tilts his head consideringly and nods. Roy's back at the table in an instant all nonchalance and "put that down Olly, we're eating". Oliver thinks he needs to go to the medbay, because surely he has a concussion.

Superman has known Batman just as long as anybody. If asked, he'd say he trusts the man, mostly. He's under no illusions that Batman would say the same, but he's working on it. That doesn't mean he's not slightly intimidated by the man. Batman's anger is a force in and of itself, and it's not one that Clark is particularly fond of being subjected to. Which is why he's conflicted at the moment. Because his son (son? clone? they're still discussing the semantics) is the unfortunate recipient of Batman's patented glare at the moment. Kon has his arms crossed as he stands next to one of his teammates, Clark only recognizes this one as Red Robin because he's the only one Clark knows nothing about. The expression on Kon's face is familiarly defiant, and Clark is torn between interjecting and risking the Batman's wrath, or letting Kon be subjected to it. He's so distracted by his inner turmoil that he doesn't hear what Batman says next. He does however, hear Kon's response. "look, we got the job done, didn't we?" He's frozen in shock, in fear, which is why he's still behind Batman when Batman responds. "hrnn" and stalks away Clark blinks, sure his ears are faulty then blinks again when he notices Kon's smile. He elbows his teammate, says something about a bet, but Clark is too confused to follow. What just happened?

He's almost forgotten about that incident the next time one of his children is subject to the Bat. This time it's Jon, Jon who is too young and too eager to please to endure the anger of Batman. But Clark is still holding up the collapsing building as the first responders get the last few civilians out. He can't go to his son and defend him, all he can do is watch as Jon approaches Batman of his own volition. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to break it." And Clark's heart breaks, because it really hadn't even been Jon's fault. His son had deflected a car thrown at him, and the car had taken out the last remaining support for the building Clark is currently holding. There were no casualties, but there were injuries, and Clark can see the guilt his son feels from here. His sorrow is replaced with complete and utter shock as Jon throws himself forward, face pressed against Batman's chest and skinny arms wrapping around his back. He grows more shocked, if possible, when Batman gently places a hand on the back of Jon's head, cradling it against his chest. "everyone will recover, and you'll learn for next time. It's alright, Jon." When the building is evacuated and Clark is given the all clear to let it down, he makes his way over to his son. Batman doesn't even look at him as he gently detaches Jon from him and deposits him in Clark's arms. He turns to leave, and Clark barely has time to whisper a "thank you" before he's disappeared.

Batman being aggressively secretive towards the Justice League is one of my favorite tropes, but it gets INFINITELY funnier when you take the younger generations of heroes into consideration.

Barry Allen? He doesn't know shit about Batman, still partially convinced he's not human, still a little bit scared to talk to him. But Wally West? That's Nightwing's best friend. He's been around Dick since both of them were kids. He's had sleepovers at the manor since he was thirteen.

I just think it would be hilarious if all of the younger generations 100% know that Batman is Bruce Wayne. They've slept at the manor, some of them have taken various Batkids to school dances, they've been offered Alfred's cooking. And all because they've gotten close to at least one Batkid and said Batkid wore Bruce down until he let them reveal their identity. But all of them manage to keep this information from their mentors. Either purposefully or completely on accident.

Then you end up with a situation where the younger generations grow up and join the League and the older members Very Quickly realize that they seem a lot more comfortable with Batman than they should be.

i'm one hundred percent certain that after percy and annabeth made out underwater. and he wanted to make their relationship official. the question was not "will you be my girlfriend?" but "can i be your boyfriend?" i don't care what the canon says. percy gave annabeth the space to take the lead in the relationship. because after a lifetime of being abandoned by everyone she dared to care for. and then watching her on the brink of a panic attack at the thought of losing him the last four years. he wanted to honor a new beginning between them by follow her lead and moving at her pace.

There is this wonderful bronze cast doggy in Ateneum, and I think he is embodying Machete in his panicking trot.

I've seen this artist's work a couple of times before in person and I swear I knew his name at some point, but right now I just can't recall it :U

Either way, I think this here might be a horse? I remember these sort of textured, twiggy-legged horses being this sculptor's trademark. Then again, I could be totally mistaken. It does have high panicked energy.

I love merthur and i love destiel too, and I added that scene from spn to make a comparison between the two ships. It wasn't meant to take anything away from the original post, but my intention was to give it a new light in addition (as people do on this site) by drawing a parallel with another piece of media. A lot of destiel fans love merthur too and i thought the op could get more reblogs and likes on their gif this way (reaching another fandom too).

I know how to make my own posts, I did plenty of them, actually.

What i don't know how to do is gifs, and i have deep appreciation for people who make them, and it is my understanding that they like exposure for their posts, so that their hard work can reach more people.
