I want your opinion on something. Do you think it's better to try and the the cards of the character you like or skipping some to brench out? Like, say you're a fan of Leona. Should you try to get all of his bday card and stuff or stick to one and get other characters ssr?

personally, as much as I would like every single card...I gotta ration my keys, so I focus on my favorites!

which isn't to say that I only pull for certain characters no matter what! more that I take a good long look at every card that comes out and go "do I really want this one? like...really really want it?" (the answer is usually yes, but -- look, the art in this game is very pretty, okay)

honestly, from a gameplay standpoint, I think it doesn't matter too much whether you focus on pulling for specific characters or not. there are very, very few points where actually having a good mix of characters is important (Those Two Stages in episode 6, where I think you can use retry tickets for the easy mode? and also guest room battles if you care about those) and you'll probably end up with at least one halfway decent card per character just from doing 10-pulls and events. so even if you're only pulling for Leona cards, you'll still end up getting a bajillion other characters as well. follow your heart! chase that grumpy lion bliss! ✨🦁✨

Stobin headcanon that after everything both Steve and Robin go into law enforcement and become a pretty solid detective partnership. They have a really high close rate for all their cases because they’re stubborn and smart and they’ve seen some shit ™️

The only problem is that they like to do the whole good cop & Bad cop shtick during interrogations except they always forget who is supposed to be playing what role and they’re just both bad cop more often than not and now the suspect is crying (they always make the suspects cry because steve has a mean girl attitude and Robin just likes the drama of slamming her hands on the table)

And their poor chief is in the background with a headache, on the phone BEGGING hopper to take them back. And hopper has zero sympathy. He gave them a glowing recommendation for a reason. They’re good kids and great detectives but they give him ulcers.

listen i like robert whumping chris as much as the next guy but i don't like when people treat it as evil villain robert enacting torture on a hapless victim chris that's not their relationship.........the push and pull is vital to their dynamic.......robert pushes too far sometimes yes but chris usually is able to push back in some capacity and even get some jabs back in sometimes that's what makes their dynamic so compelling.........chris is also an Asshole they're two Assholes in love and the Beef is how they express that

I feel so old

So, I was born in 97 raised by a single father born in 78. Just to set the scene for understanding. Now, I knew the movies I was watching growing up were a little older you know because they were all on VHS. But I never realized how old until now... So, I was thinking about an older movie I watched that I loved called secret of NIMH but couldn't remember how to spell NIMH, so I decided to look it up on a whim. Guess when that movie came out. 1982.

This got me curious, so I started looking up some other movies, the first Balto movie came out in 95, not bad. Brother Bear came out in 2003, not bad either. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron came out in 2002 and Spirited Away in 2001. Not bad either. But then it got to the others...

I feel like my father raised me in a pocket dimension I swear. I'm a Gen Z raised by a Gen X to be a Gen X, like that is the best way to describe it. I remember reading the Dragon Lance books with my dad for my mandatory reading assignments from school, we watched a lot of early 2000s comedy central and MTV. Just about every standup comedian I watched with him was from his generation, I grew up with the rock, metal, rap and pop music of his generation. For real though as someone who has watched both MP100 and Steven Universe I can tell you with relative certainty that the reason SU is so hated is because there were complex women in it. A lot of the guys (gn) that praise MP100 as SUCH a good show that shows the power of MERCY and UNDERSTANDING are literally the same people that shit on SU for being "too pussy to prosecute its villains properly" <- real words from a man I've spoken with about it 🙃

I like both shows and they're actually very similar, which is why it's hysterical to me when people try to rag on SU after having praised MP100 so ardently like,,,,if you're misogynistic just say that lmao
