so you wanna start a blog? in this post i’ll break down effective ways to start, manage and maintain a blog (from my own experience of course) i hope u find this helpful ✨

TOPIC AND IDEA ;

to have a blog you need an idea or concept about what your blog will be about. make your blog about either something that you know a lot about/are proficient in.

or blog about something that u are learning about as a way to track ur progress and learn new information. you could blog about something that you love a lot etc etc.

AESTHETIC ;

what is your aesthetic? for me it’s hyper feminine and pink and just DIVINE. when u choose and stick to an aesthetic it’ll give ur blog kind of a signature which is important for the rest of this post.

when u have an aesthetic in mind for ur blog make sure that you have plenty of pins on pinterest that mesh nicely with ur aesthetic so u can find things like headers, dividers, photos and emojis that suit the aesthetic of ur blog.

RESOURCES ;

pinterest is my holy grail for resources. there u can find headers and photos to use in ur posts to give ur audience something visually pleasing to look at while they read ur post.

what ur gonna want to start off ur blog aesthetic and theme is ;

a header

a color scheme (for coloring/bolding words. and the colors for ur blog page in general)

an informative bio

a pfp

dividers

START OFF POST IDEAS ;

if u want to run a well organized blog there are a couple posts that i think are beneficial for u to make. in fact the most important post that i think any blog should have is a MASTERLIST.

master lists are great for a multitude of things. they help ur audience to navigate ur blog easier and see all that you have to offer in one convenient tap of their finger. plus when u make navigating ur blog easy, more people will experience ur content which will mean more interactions with ur post.

not only does it help the audience but it also helps u to know what u did and didn’t post, so that u can plan effectively for the future. it’s also a fun way to see how much u posted. i recommend making a new masterlist every year or when you can’t put any more links onto it 💀. if u want a reference for a good masterlist you can check out mine right here.

CONSISTENCY ;

consistency is key in anything and everything and blogging is no exception. i recommend not blogging in a competitive nature, rather i think in order to be consistent with something like a blog you should genuinely just do it for funsies/passion and as a way to have ur own authentic creative outlet.

i don’t have a set posting schedule bcuz i don’t want blogging to feel like a chore when in reality it’s just a hobby that happened to gain an audience because people enjoyed it. and because people enjoy what i write, it in return makes me happy and wanna write more.

SIGNATURE ;

i cannot stress this enough but when u have a platform whether it’s small or big individuality sets you apart! have something that sets u apart like personalized hash-tags, a way that u talk, etc etc.

personalize hash-tags with things like emojis. also, USE UR HASHTAGS because when someone looks up something like “self improvement” your post will be what they see if u add those hashtags.

furthermore if u personalize those hashtags it sets u apart and gives ur blog a kind of brand and individuality in a way. like a signature at the end of a post.

2024 Year In Review-ish

It's funny, I started to ruminate on how 2024 was kind of brutal on a few different fronts - lots of professional stress that sapped up my creative energy and exacerbated the burnout I've been running into after 5 straight years of nonstop writing.

But when I think about it...there's was still a lot of good, exciting things that happened this year. No, I didn't finish Mezzo - not even close - but I did write a scene that goes high on the list of things I am most proud of. Everything I did accomplish for that story landed right where I wanted it.

And while I didn't write as much as I wanted, I was creative in totally new ways. I picked up bookbinding and ran with it, which required getting some foundational skills in about a dozen different hobbies. I went from not even having a needle and thread in my house to being able to sew a textblock that only occasionally gets accidentally sewn into my chair. I learned how to design and cut vinyl. I developed an unhealthy addiction to metallic paper. I learned how to round and back (with loooooots of room for improvement, but I can do it). I've gotten comfortable with cutting and measuring, and even more important - I've gotten comfortable with fucking up.

I still can't use a foil pen with any success, but that's for 2025.

I can make things for my friends now, which is something I've wanted to be able to do for years. For Christmas, I typeset and bound a Stephen King book that exists only as a PDF - one of the first "ebooks" that my dad proudly paid for, downloaded, and printed out two copies - one for him and one for me.

For 20+ years my printed copy has lived in a box that has moved from Virginia to Kentucky to Texas to California. His printed copy has lived in a 3 ring binder with the rest of his Stephen King collection. Now he has a bound copy.

That's a big win. That feels really, really good.

Mezzo is going to get written, and I'm going to be proud of it. But I really have needed the time to rotate my crops and redirect my creative efforts into something new.

It's also important for me to remember that ten years ago I had the worst year of my life, even if it ended on a hopeful note on New Year's Eve. This year was rough, but I got to spend it with the person I love most in the world, and my goofy ass dog who is currently dying to steal the rest of my lunch.

It's been a challenging year, but still a good one.

Hoping all of you have some joy and comfort on the eve of this new year. 2025 might be scary, but I'll hold your hand if you hold mine, and we'll figure it all out.

Summary: When Luca finds out that you have never celebrated your birthday, he sets out to make your day perfect.

There’s a moment in a relationship where everything stops being sparkly and new. When the normality of spending your life with someone else sets in, when the honeymoon phase ends, and everything becomes slow and easy. For you, that moment is nowhere to be seen. You’re not sure that things will change with Dominique Luca. He’s the most caring, loving, sincere, and loyal man you’ve ever met. The relationship is new; you’ve been dating for a few months, though the days with him pass too quickly. His roommate Jim is out with a girl, so you’ve made yourself comfortable with Luca in his living room. As he asks you about your day, hobbies, and anything else he can think of, you wonder if being with Luca will bring a sense of normalcy or if every day will be a surprise.

“What about you?” you ask with a smile. “How was your day?”

“It was pretty good. We only had two calls, so it was slow. I think we should talk about you, now,” Luca replies.

You groan and lean back, but Luca takes the opportunity to wrap his arm around your upper back and pull you closer. Settled against his side, you feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

“We’ve been talking about me for too long. C’mon, Luca, tell me something about you for once.” Luca shakes his head, so you turn toward him and pout as you add, “Please?”

“Fine. Um, for my birthday last year, my brother-“

“Terry?”

“Yeah. He took me to a Dodgers game, but afterward we went to a classic car show, and we talked about our dream cars. It wasn’t a huge birthday celebration or anything but spending that time with him was great. Especially after everything we’ve been through, you know?”

You nod and lean your head against his shoulder. Luca is your favorite topic, and you are convinced you could listen to him talk about anything, mundane or unbelievable, and never grow tired of him.

“What about you?” Luca asks with a bounce of his shoulder. “What’s your favorite birthday memory?”

“Oh, I don’t have one. Never celebrated birthdays before. Growing up, it never really happened, I guess. As I got older, I started doing things with friends for their birthdays, but… It’s just a day on the calendar for me.”

Luca falls silent upon learning that you’ve never been celebrated. He immediately decides to surprise you, but he has to get more answers without making you suspicious.

“You never wanted a celebration, or just didn’t have someone worth celebrating with?” he inquires.

You take a deep breath as you think. “I don’t know.”

“Well, you can’t possibly be the issue,” Luca adds. “So, I’ll assume it was a poor decision on everyone else’s part not to celebrate you every moment of your life.”

“Is that something you have to say as my new boyfriend?” you whisper against his shoulder.

“No. It’s something that is true, and as your boyfriend, I get the privilege of telling you.”

“You’re my favorite person.”

“And you’re mine.”

A few hours later, you wash the dishes from dinner – despite Luca’s insistence that he could clean up. He takes the opportunity to do some well-meaning intruding. Your bag is at the table, and Luca waits to take your wallet out until your back is turned. As you focus on the task before you, Luca quickly finds your ID, and takes note of your birthday. He holds it in his mind as he puts your wallet back in its rightful place and then types it into his phone, so he doesn’t risk forgetting. Luca isn't always one for big gestures, giving or receiving, but you deserve a celebration worthy of all the birthdays you’ve missed. You are loved and appreciated, so Luca will show you when your birthday comes. After you leave, Luca looks at the date and realizes that your birthday is less than a week away and that you weren’t going to tell him.

Someone is whispering as they touch your face. You roll over to escape the unwelcome attention, but it follows you. When you force yourself to blink your eyes open, Luca smiles above you.

“Happy Birthday,” he says happily. “Breakfast is cooking, and we’re going to be late. I know I should’ve let you sleep in, but I needed to see my birthday girl.”

“How do you know?” you ask, more alert than you should be for someone who was just woken before you wanted to be. “I didn’t tell you it was my birthday.”

Luca shrugs before he walks away from you and into the kitchen. You sit up and rub your eyes, confused yet intrigued. There isn’t a clear explanation about how he knows your birthday, but he seems so excited that you aren’t inclined to ask more questions.

When you enter the kitchen after getting ready, Luca is plating your favorite breakfast meal. He smiles and sets the pan and spatula down to hug you. You laugh as he spins you because you know that one birthday with Luca will spoil you. Birthdays have never been important to you, perhaps because no one gave you a reason to look forward to one. Luca’s excitement alone is the best gift you could receive.

“Okay, breakfast,” Luca says as he steps back. “And there’s a gift on the table. Happy Birthday.”

“This is too much,” you argue quietly. “You didn’t need-“

“I did. I do need to do this for you because I love you. Okay?”

You nod as Luca kisses your forehead. He taps your hip and reminds you that the food is getting cold. It’s not, and you both know it, but your first "real" birthday can quickly turn awkward if you let it. You sit at Luca’s table, and your eyes widen at the gift beside your plate.

“Is that…” you begin, unsure what to expect or ask.

“A gift,” Luca finishes. “You don’t have to open it now if you don’t want to.”

You nod and lift your fork but stop before you can take a bite of the delicious food before you.

“I can leave you alone while you open it,” Luca offers when he notices your eyes drift to the box.

After you shake your head, you set the fork aside again and pull the box toward you. When the lid is raised, you see a tin case inside. You glance at Luca, and his smile widens. The tin case has your name, Luca’s name, and the year printed on the top. You raise the top slowly and see it is filled with papers, photographs, and ticket stubs. Your relationship is new, yet the box is filled like you’ve been together for years. Each photo has a number and a short note on the back about what has been captured in the image, and the tickets have dates and love letters written around the edges. What truly catches your attention, though, is the short note taped to the inside of the lid.

“I’ve known more love in the short months leading up to your birthday than I thought existed. To every birthday with you and all the love we share.”

You want to thank him, hug him, and kiss him, all at the same time. There’s a knot in your throat, so you can’t do the first. When you lurch out of your seat, Luca reacts quickly. Your arms wrap over his shoulders, and Luca pulls you closer by your waist. As you cling to him, you know two things: you are madly in love with Dominique Luca, and you want to spend every day, birthdays included, with him by your side.

“Thank you,” you whisper. You punctuate your gratitude with a kiss to the corner of his mouth.

“Of course. I love you, and I want to show you, especially today,” Luca replies. “Now, seriously, eat.”

You smile as you return to your seat, and your eyes wander to the open tin as you eat the best meal you’ve had in your life. Luca watches you with a smile because he is glad that he is the one who gets to show you what birthdays should be like and love you every step of the way.

After breakfast, Luca tells you to get dressed. The idea of a surprise party never crosses your mind, and Luca hopes it stays that way. He doesn’t want to go overboard today, so he allows your reaction to his quality time-based birthday with Terry to guide his actions.

“Where are we going?” you ask as Luca helps you into his truck.

“Do you really need to know, or can you give me another chance to surprise you for your birthday?” Luca replies. He taps your thigh before shifting into gear.

“Luca,” you begin. “Why is my birthday such a big deal?”

“Because you are a big deal. I love you, and you are important. My life would be… I don’t know what it would be without you, so this is the most important day of the year to me. And the fact that we started dating so close to your birthday isn’t lost on me.”

“I appreciate it. More than you know.”

“Of course. You’re worth all of it, and you deserve every gift you’ve ever wanted. You deserve all you want and more.”

You bite your lip but can’t hide your smile. Luca chuckles as he continues driving, and you watch his profile as he takes you to the next surprise. Each moment with him makes you think his surprises will be endless, no matter how long you’re together. And you hope that is a very, very long time.

When Luca pulls into a parking lot, you gasp. Your favorite bookstore sits before you, and you expect this is another visit to browse for books. Since you told Luca about your love for reading, he brings you here occasionally to look at new releases and spend time with you. As you reach for the door handle, Luca stops you.

“I have to make a call really quick; I’ll meet you inside?” he explains.

“Sure,” you answer.

While you wait, you meander down the aisle of current bestsellers. You pick up one you haven’t heard of and read the blurb on the back. An arm wraps around your waist while you return it to its rightful place, and you quickly identify it as Luca. You lean against him and continue scanning the shelves for other interesting titles.

“Do you want that one?” Luca asks. “The one you were just looking at?”

“No. I hadn’t heard of it, but it doesn’t sound like something I’d like. And you don’t have to buy me a book just because it’s my birthday.”

Luca chuckles and lets you lead the way through the bookstore. You have to turn down several more offers from him to buy a book you touch, and when you’ve been through every aisle, you return to the truck hand-in-hand with Luca. He opens the passenger door and reveals a large bookstore bag in your seat.

“What is that?” you ask.

“I guess someone broke into the truck and left you a birthday present,” Luca answers.

You turn to face him, and Luca starts to panic at the teary look in your eyes. When you hug him, he sighs and pulls you closer.

“I told you-“

“And I told you,” Luca interjects, “That you are worth being celebrated. I hope you like it.”

You open the bag and inhale sharply at the sight. There’s not one, or even two, books. It is an entire series, a series that you told Luca about during one of your first visits to the bookstore. You’ve been wanting it for a while but couldn’t find it or couldn’t afford it when you did find a bundle. After talking about it – probably too much – you’re not surprised that Luca remembered, but touched that he cared enough to find the exact box set you showed him and buy it.

You can’t thank him again, so you give him another hug instead. After you murmur that it is the best gift you’ve ever received and the best birthday you’ve ever had, you let Luca help you into the cab and hold the bag tight to your chest.

“One more stop and then we can go back home,” Luca says as he starts the engine.

“I don’t think I can take another surprise,” you say.

Luca simply smiles, and you decide that maybe his surprises are worth it. After driving through Los Angeles traffic, he stops outside a jewelry store but makes no move to exit the truck. A gift bag is hidden under his seat, and Luca pulls it out and hands it to you with a smile.

“Luca,” you say softly. You remove the tissue paper and reach a jewelry box. “I can’t accept this.”

“You didn’t even open it,” Luca argues.

“It’s too expensive.”

“Humor me,” Luca requests as he slides across the bench seat to be closer to you. “And open it. If you still feel that way, I’ll look into returning it.”

The chain inside the box is minimalistic but beautiful. However, you tilt the box, and another slightly thicker chain slides out. You look up at Luca, then at the jewelry store.

“Are these what I think they are?” you ask as you raise the smaller chain. The links look a bit like the letter L, and you hope you’re right about what it’s meant to symbolize.

“They’re forever bracelets. And if you want to say no, I get it.”

“I want it,” you interrupt.

“Good,” Luca replies with a wide smile. “I thought it might be a bit too soon for a ring, but I want you to have something to remember that I am here, that I will love you and be with you today, next year, for every birthday and day between until I die.”

You follow Luca into the jewelry store and hold his hand as you have the chain secured to your wrist. Luca guarantees that he checked, and it won’t be an issue with his position on S.W.A.T., and you fall a bit deeper in love with him.

Luca is a liar and makes one more surprise stop at your favorite clothing store. He tells you to find an outfit you love and happily pays for it despite your best efforts to beat him to it. When you return to his house, he asks you to model it, and you reluctantly agree.

“Beautiful,” Luca announces when you exit.

“Thank you. Again,” you reply.

“Oh, the outfit’s nice, too.”

You laugh as Luca pulls you into his arms. He tells you that you deserve better than his cooking for your birthday, and although you disagree, you’d do just about anything he asked right now. So, you get back in his truck and watch him as he drives to an outdoor café.

When you step onto the well-lit patio, you expect a romantic dinner with Luca to end your perfect birthday. However, Luca has been taking advantage of your lack of suspicion since you’re not used to being celebrated and receiving attention and gifts. When 20-David and several of your friends jump out and yell “Surprise,” you immediately turn toward Luca. You are separated as people approach you with gifts and birthday wishes, but you stay aware of where Luca is in the small crowd. It is the first time you are being celebrated by the people you love, and you know that Luca is responsible for all of it. You'll never be able to thank him enough, but you love him, which is what matters.

The surprise party is fun, but the moment it ends, you happily leave with Luca and collapse at his house. Once you are sitting on his couch, in the same position as when the surprise idea came to Luca, you thank him again.

“Stop thanking me,” he says softly. “You are important to me, so your birthday is special. Celebrating you isn’t something I need to be thanked for, I do it because I love you, and I love doing it.”

“You’re being extra romantic today,” you muse.

Luca smiles as you turn against his chest. “It’s the most important day of the year.”

“You can’t go this big every year, I won’t be able to take it. Maybe your gift next year can be a day off or something.”

Luca hums, and you know he’s planning to go even bigger.

“Is there anything you’ve really wanted?” Luca asks. “In the past, was there something you wanted but have never gotten?”

You lean back and hold Luca’s shoulders as you look into his eyes. “Honestly?” Luca nods, so you continue, “I got tired of asking for things that I knew no one cared enough to give. Or there was just no one around to ask. I mean, I never asked for anything big, but eventually even the little stuff is disappointing. One year, I just asked my friends to come over and hang out and they didn’t even do that. So, I guess I’d say having someone spend time with me just because. But you gave me that today.”

Luca frowns as you answer and vows to himself to make every birthday special. He decides to lighten the mood for now, though, and points out, “Your birthday isn’t even over yet. We have, like, two hours to spend together.”

You roll your eyes, completely in love with Luca and excited at the prospect of being with him for the rest of your life. When he pulls you into a sudden kiss, you don’t fight it, but continue enjoying the best gift you’ve ever received: time with Luca, and his affection certainly doesn’t hurt.

“I promise,” Luca whispers between kisses, “to make your birthday wishes come true for many years.”

“I love you,” you reply. It’s short, but the sentiment perfectly conveys to Luca just how much today meant to you. “And if you really want to spend the next two hours with me, you should get comfortable, because I’ve got new books to start.”

Luca holds you against his chest and asks, “What if I told you my birthday wish is more kisses?”

You ponder the question for less than ten seconds before leaning in again. Though your relationship with Luca is still new, there is no chance that things will ever grow boring. As you ring in another year of you with Luca, you begin brainstorming how to make his birthday as special as he made yours.

What's the origin of your blog title? I came up with it in 5 seconds bc my Libra ass needs to do something fast otherwise I’d never make a decision. The name Aurora just came to me, I think it’s beautiful, and the ‘writestoescape’ part is why I’m here, in the delulu land

3. “A new hobby or interest you picked up?”

Idk if it is kinda a hobby or not, buuuutttt in a way…..

ig my new(ish) kinda hobby is collecting/buying DVDs, particularly DVDs of my special interest/featuring and/or involving my special interests!! (for example; most of the DVDs that I’ve had my parents buy for me are mostly Monty Python and/or HFC-oriented, either (a) they star and/or feature some of the actual Pythons (whether in a big role, in a small role/a cameo, etc), (b) they star and/or feature the actors who starred as the Pythons in the BBC 4 MP tv biopic “Holy Flying Circus” (2011) (again, whether in a big role, a small role/a cameo, etc), and/or (c) in a rarest of ALL rare moment(s) where the stars align, *possibly* both an actual Python(s) AND a HFC Python(s) are in this show/movie together (whether they share a scene together or separately, etc))

Idk why, whether subconsciously or not, but I have and have had a special and new appreciation for DVDs when collecting/buying them. Idk whether it’s maybe a childhood thing or something (I used to have a few DVDs as a kid), but just the thought of just physically OWNING a piece of media in your hands and having it on my shelves makes me very happy fr 🥰. Whilst I do equally love appreciate streaming and its convenience, I do also love DVDs and I personally think both can co-exist together for everyone’s enjoyment!

Whilst I do literally sweat at the fearful thought of possibly accidentally breaking my DVD disk or possibly my DVD disk just annoyingly pausing at a random point in the film/episode of a tv show, I think my utter love of DVDs kinda far outweighs the bad imo. Again, this is just me personally!

7. “An obsession that disappeared as suddenly as it came?”

Suffice to say……no, not really.

My obsessions have mostly been intact and are never going to leave me nor disappear from me methinks.

That’s actually one of my personal fears tbh. That my obsession(s) WILL leave me and disappear if I suddenly don’t feel as interested in it/them anymore, that I’ll become an empty husk with no personality whatsoever. I know that sounds kind of silly, but it’s one of my genuine fears if it were to happen to me in the future. I do wish to make peace with that fact sooner, otherwise I might possibly feel broken and emotionally shattered from it all if it DOES happen to me.

BUT, also weirdly simultaneously, I am aware of the inevitability of it all, and that I’ll try to get through this fear of mine.

Again, technically yes!!

Albeit if I’m very obsessed with a new movie/tv show (particularly a celebrity crush(es) and/or comfort character(s)), then I will ADD said new celebrity crush(es) and/or comfort character(s) to my ever growing list of existing celebrity crush(es) and comfort character(s)!

Examples of a new celebrity crush and comfort character, among others ofc but these 2 particularly, that I’ve gained this past year are these:

Celebrity Crush : Tom Fisher (his real surname is Browne, but his stage/professional surname is Fisher). I’ve first gained a crush on him from when he was in “Holy Flying Circus” (2011), when he was ALSO playing my OTHER existing celebrity crush, Graham Chapman! Everything from his FINE ASF beauty, his mannerisms and wiseness and quotes and gayness of Graham was just *mwah* PERFECT-O 😘👌!! and his voice in general is just….VERY VERY VERY sexy indeed!

After watching HFC, I just went down a bit of a rabbit hole (and still am in a bit of a continuing rabbit hole lol) of seeing all the other films and TV shows that he’s been involved in! There’s 2 films of his where he plays the main character, those being “Treacle Jr” (2010) and “The Nine Lives of Tomas Katz” (2000), where’s he absolutely great fr acting wise!! I’m still on the pilgrimage to watch EVERY single movie and tv show that he’s ever starred in (whether in a main role or a supporting role) and/or directed cuz HES THAT AWESOME AND SEXY AHHH!!! (also I literally have a sideblog dedicated to this beautiful asf man fr, that’s how much I’m in love with Tom Fisher frfr)

Comfort Character : Roddy (played by Graham Chapman) from “Doctor in Trouble” (1970)

I honestly only watched this otherwise…..ehh ok film for and only for Graham, and this did NOT disappoint fr!! Roddy is a CAMPY AS GAY FUCK 🏳️‍🌈💅✨ICON✨💅🏳️‍🌈 FR!! His (Roddy’s) camera is so cute and I love how he’s unapologetically and authentically his queer asf self on this cruise ship 🛳️ 🚢 full of (presumably) mostly straight people lol! Honestly SLAY QUEEN 💅💅 Fave comfort character of 2024 imo goes to…..Roddy the Campy Gay Photographer 🏳️‍🌈📸!!

Actually there IS smth I really wanna talk about!

Ok so, I mentioned my fave actor (that being British actor Rufus Jones, who also played Terry Jones in HFC) on a post/tweet I made on Bluesky (which from what I heard is basically a less toxic version of Twitter), and to my utter surprise, HE RESPONDED BY RETWEETING IT EARLIER TODAY AHHH!!!!

It honestly surprised me when I saw the retweet, like I couldn’t in a MILLION YEARS thought he’d retweet it!! It honestly made me very happy and I think it’ll serve as a very happy moment in the last day of 2024!! That one of my other fave actors (Rufus Jones) who played my other fave Python (Terry Jones) from my fave biopic responded to me!! Honestly an absolutely amazing surprise frfr!!!

Creating a Cozy Corner

I am of the opinion that if you have a place to live long term, at least one section of it should be specifically designed to be as cozy as humanly possible. Preferably all of it, but hey, baby steps. Here's a step by step guide if you want to make one, but are unsure how.

1. Decide what you want to do in your cozy corner

What you want out of your cozy corner will determine where in your house it goes, how big it is, and what you'll fill it with. It can be a place to do a hobby or something you don't typically like doing, or to go to when you're feeling a particular way.

For me, it's a place I go to when I'm overwhelmed or scared, so I knew the atmosphere had to make me feel safe. I feel safest in small spaces and corners, where I can see the whole room but people can't see me from the door.

2. Find a place that suits your needs for it to go

Is your cozy corner for reading? maybe the bedroom or wherever your books are. Working out a la Cozy Cardio? Maybe somewhere in the living room. If you want to cozify your self care routine, make your bathroom cozy!

Mine is between the foot of my bed and the wall, because when I have nightmares the last thing I want to do is go to a separate room.

3. Structural work

Depending on how big your space is, what it's for, what the room already looks like, whether you're renting, and so on, this will vary wildly. Some ideas include installing bookshelves, painting the walls, or getting a kids' teepee style tent to get cozy in. Or, you could just decorate the whole room to be a sanctuary.

My dad helped me install a shelf and put a plastic board in between the bracket and the shelf top, then bent it down and attached it to my bedframe. This created a little cave-like space for me to sit in.

4. The fun bit!

Decorating!!! Put whatever you want in there. I would recommend at least 2 sensory things (such as lighting and scents), 2 activities, and 5 soft things for relaxation. Some ideas include fairy lights, sunset lamps, scented candles or wax melts, sensory tools, something soft to sit on, cozy clothes you can put on when you're in there, nostalgic toys, equipment for your activities such as a walking pad or a musical instrument, snacks, books, a projector for movies, the list goes on and on!

Since mine is on the floor, I got a large memory foam dog bed for the bottom, then stacked extra pillows and blankets. I set my weighted blanket nearby, and put some coloured pencils and my therapy journal off to the side. I finished it off with some stuffed animals and children's books about loving yourself and handling big emotions.

5. The takeover

I will warn you, though. Making a cozy place that makes you feel good runs the risk of you wanting to make your entire living space cozy.

I'm in the middle of cozifying my bathroom and reading corner, with no signs of stopping at that.

I’m glad to see you here! I recall seeing you in Cigarette Duet’s comment section, and well a fellow @darcycrow admirer is always welcome in my book!

I am indeed a huge ASOIAF fan. I’m currently in the middle of a reread of the main series actually! These books hold a special place in my heart for many reasons.

Now onto your questions.

The reasons you listed are definitely a big part of what drew me to these silly blonds, but what really cemented them as THE AoT ship for me is the way they both embody the themes of the story. Through these two we get a larger picture of what the story is trying to say. Both to their core are sensitive people thrown in situations where they have to disregard this part of themselves, and they both deal with it differently. Annie, who was raised in a less forgiving society, embraces compliance and indifference, while Armin, who had a sliver of leeway by virtue of living in the outskirts of a largely feudal society, takes the path to idealism and quiet (and not so quiet) resistance.

Here’s the thing though: both aspire to what the other is doing. Aside from their sensitivity and intuition they both carry a strong sense of practicality. They’re smart cookies with great observational skills, so they *know* that neither approach quite cuts it. Idealism takes a blow when confronted with the horrors of the world, and surprisingly so does indifference. There’s only so much a person who cares can turn a blind eye to, and the more you do it the more it hurts you. So Annie looks up to Armin’s resistance and idealism, while Armin looks up to Annie’s ruthlessness and decisiveness.

The answer lies in the balance of it all, which is not necessarily the middle point between these two ideologies, but a new third option that combines the two. A synthesis, as a commenter of mine put it. You can’t lead a life based on indifference as it is largely unproductive, but you have to armor yourself as well. Naïveté will get you eaten by wolves, but principles guide us to a better future.

Honestly, I love these two, and I can talk about possible interpretations of what they represent for hours on end, so let’s move on to your second question.

I think of writing approaches as a spectrum with pure inspiration on one end and pure discipline on the other. As writers we fall somewhere in this binary, usually closer to one pole or the other. I’m mostly a muse-driven author, although I’ve been trying to work on my discipline for the past couple of years.

At this point in my life, writing is very much my hobby, so I find it’s fruitless to drain all the fun out of it and treat it like a chore that needs to be done no matter what. However it is also a craft that I want to hone as much as possible, so I try to engage it in a manner that challenges me constantly. As you said, I’m not sure if a perfect combo can be achieved, but at the same time I think we can learn from each other and improve our skills.

A Perfectly Good Heart: could be her being dramatic about a middle school breakup, but i think it’s more likely she was just daydreaming about being really sad

Fearless: taylor’s said she was just daydreaming about the perfect first date a million times, look at any concert she played this at in 2007/8

Timeless: she wrote it sometime in 2009, likely sometime after june because she mentions antiquing as a new hobby in the lover journals from that month. so it could be about somebody we don’t know about, or maybe taylor lautner, but my guess is she was just wandering around an antique store and daydreaming about being in love

!! warning, I yap for very, VERY long and I might have ran with the question bare ass to the world and forgot a little bit about the fact the question didn't also include "what is your identity?", sorry radio <\3 !!

The first question of the event was; “How do you organise or categorise your identity? If you don’t, why don’t you?”

I think this is a pretty fun question :3! Identity and labels have been a big interest and hobby of mine for years, and I’m an avid collector with a big complex system about how things should work and what I am in context situations. This means I have a big complex system of how to categorise my identity, I say categorise because I don’t organise it physically, as every time I’ve tried to build a coherent hoard, I fail miserably. (I don't really touch up upon how my systemhood affects my organisation because it pretty much boils down to; sometimes I doubt myself and then realise someone else is in front with me and that's why.) I'll touch on how I categorise my identity dependent on who I talk to; now.

First is the identity I show to people in general, even though it is absolutely not my preferred. I am not out to most people about my transness, however, my sexuality is something I am more open about. I label myself more outwardly as my assigned gender at birth and bisexual.

Next is one I show to friends, which is a mix of things. I am a trans man and I count myself as omnisexual, and use he/him. However, that’s the most I say to people who are not very interested in labels or very aware of labels.

Then I have a still quite general identity but for people who actually know me for longer, or understand more queer identity. I classify myself as a non-binary man who is both monogamous and polyamourous, omniromantic and bisexual. I use he/it and specifically never they/them. With certain people will I mention my use of the term “butch”.

I used to identify very strongly as a lesbian, turns out this wasn’t really the case but I became very comfortable in one specific part of being a lesbian which was being a butch. This word encompassed everything about my identity in a very comfortable way and therefore I found myself nervous when I wasn’t able to use it anymore, as I was told it “wasn’t allowed”. It took me years of reading old queer history and the sorts to realise, “well, all the queers before me did it, and they were fine,” to finally permit myself to use a word that is intrinsic to me. This has also lead me as a trans man to date a lesbian, and have no problems regarding it in that relationship, as I was still a butch. She respected my identity as a man and as a butch simultaneously and even while the relationship ended, it helped me discover quite a bit about myself and the word! Being a butch is its’ own specific term for me, its’ own category, and that’s why I mention it now.

Now, for this next part, I’m not gonna list every single term I have ever and do use, because that is simply just… not possible. I’m not panidentity (encompassing all identities) but I’m pretty damn close to it. Words are fun and I love them, therefore seeing words and terms and labels makes me excited, I attribute it to my autism. Not only that, but being alienated at young and often feeling “other” due to a lot of problems, means I find myself adopting term after term and categorising it. A general thing I call myself, in this usual order (order is very important for me); a transgender non-binary butch man who is biromantic, omnisexual, ambiamorous, pleonotic, hypersexual, fictoromantic, fictosexual, vallisromantic, vallissexual, objectum, intersex and a MOGAI foxfreak.

"… wow that is a mouthful, what does all of that mean and why in that specific order, Charlie?" Glad you asked!

I'll tackle the order question first, as it's something I actually have a good analogy for! My identity works similar to math (sorry, I'm a nerd), addition questions can have their numbers swapped around but the output will be the same. 2 + 1 and 1 + 2 will always equal 3, however, with subtraction questions, this does not work; 2 - 1 equals 1, and 1 - 2 equals -1. I categorise ALL my terms by this system, including the ones not mentioned, if a term is "addition", I can add it onto my identity in any order. If a term is "subtraction", I need to keep it in the same order each time.

My "subtraction" terms in the example above are; "non-binary butch man", "biromantic, omnisexual", "vallisromantic, vallissexual", and "foxfreak". My "addition" terms are the rest. I sprinkle them in either between or at the end of my description (yes, I know this would affect an actual equation, good thing MOGAI doesn't follow math rules :3). The only term in the example that differs is "non-binary butch man" as that always will come first, as a base. Sometimes certain terms feel like they fit neither, but either accentuate another term (a "multiplication" term for me) or even undermine another term (a "division" term).

Next is, "What the hell do those words mean, Sans?" And more importantly, what do they mean for me? Easy! I'll go in order of the example just after I talk about one term I think a lot of people will not know, pleonotic.

Pleonotic is a MOGAI term, one I actually only recently discovered image describing for Radio! Pleonotic is described by its' coiner (@/imoga-pride) as; "People with identities separated from their synonyms and pleonasms, often leading to not identifying with the gender-affirmative perspective of associating them all as the same. Examples: being a boy but not a man; being a gal but not a girl; being a male but not a dude." This explains me perfectly, I'm a man but often avoid the term boy, I don't see them the same. I'm male but not a boy, I'm a guy and a dude but not a bloke (I'm British, jumpscare) or a lad. I'm also non-binary, but any other synonyms rather than just the word non-binary is not me. Hell, I even use this for "freak", I'm a freak, not a weirdo (unintentional Radiohead reference).

Now I feel like I can talk clearer!

I'm transgender specifically (pleonotic) instead of trans, I may use the term sometimes but "trans" doesn't really encompass me as well. I'm a non-binary butch man instead of anything like demiboy as both my maleness and non-binary-ness (?) are separated and sometimes I feel one more than the other, the closest I can explain this with common terms is like bigender (two genders at once), but not exactly. I've already touched on the butch aspect. Biromantic means I have romantic attraction to two or more genders, for me; men and women, can be non-binary too but not inherently. Omnisexual means I have sexual attraction to all genders but with a preference, I find my preference alternating but I don't have a term for that, so I just say omnisexual with alternating preference! (Please send me a label for this if it exists!). Ambiamorous simply means I can be happy in both a monogamous and polyamorous relationship. Pleonotic I have described already! Hypersexual is a term for people who struggle with the symptom of hypersexuality, usually due to trauma. Fictoromantic and fictosexual mean romantic and sexual attraction to fictional characters, it is an a-spec identity (with it being an aromantic identity and an asexual identity respectively). Vallisromantic and vallissexual are also aromantic and asexual identities, they represent the course of attraction for me, being that I am attracted at first meet (generally), lose interest as I become friends and gain that attraction again as I get closer. Objectum is just the attraction to objects, also an a romantic/asexual term I believe. Intersex is my condition. MOGAI is just the community of labels I am a part of and foxfreak is a reference to my autistic connection to foxes, belief of being a fox in my past life and being a freak.

yeah, quite casually in everyday life, but I try to tone it down

5. what’s the first thing you notice about people?

I'm bad with faces, I might not recognise someone who's new to me after interacting with them every day for 2 weeks (based on a true story) xdd so what I notice at first is the overall vibe they present, which is a combination of their posture and body language, clothes and accessories, facial expressions etc. This doesn't tell absolutely accurately who they are, but it shows how they want to be perceived mixed with some unconscious elements they might not notice themselves, which is interesting to me

6. what’s your eye color?

eh idk, people say they're blue when I'm in a blue pool, green when I'm among greenery, grey when it's a bit dark. I guess they're a subtle mixture that looks like nothing until there's something external that brings out one of the colors. it's a bit annoying tbh, so I usually just say grey

7. scary movies or happy endings?

i love horror, very high on my list of fav genres, but I also love happy endings, just not necessarily in horrors. In media other than horror I need HE or I feel down. So i'd say: both

8. any special talents?

I've had a music talent since I was little, couldn't understand how other kids didn't know how to play the flute or keep the rhythm. I've also heard various ppl say that I somehow know how to arrange things to be aesthetically pleasing, but I could never explain how to do it, it just looks better a certain way. A bit for drawing, considering how fast I improved compared to some other people, but I haven't pursued it farther than sketching. Sport comes pretty smoothly to me and my body, I've always been "the athletic girl"

I may sound like i'm bragging but i try to be objective for my own self. After all "talent" means nothing and is just bitterly wasted if you're not practising, so for me it can be more of a shameful thing that I let rot rather than something to be proud of. It's also so useless when teaching others, because you don't know how to explain shit when you do it intuitively, which tripped me a lot of times while trying to teach someone. Very annoying and sometimes isolating in a sense that you just vibe with yourself instead of sharing the experience with others

we have a dog but I moved out of my family home recently and the doggo stayed there, I still visit often and walk him, but it doesn't feel like he's really mine anymore :(

I did gymnastics and horse-riding for a few years as a kid, used to jog in middle/high school, I also go on a trip to the mountains at least once a year to hike bc I'm obsessed with it. Recently I like to do yoga and fitness to bring my body to its limit and stretch all the pains that keep accumulating. I almost didn't move from my desk for over a year some time ago because i was too busy with uni, work and a few other big things, and it ended up in a neck injury that escalated to a few months of rehab. Now I move a lot so those nightmarish pain and several contusions don't repeat

Lion - I'm probably most proud of how far I've come over the last few years, I went through a lot and am still learning to live with some of it. It's definitely shaped a bit of who I am now, but I'd like to think I have grown from it and carried it with me rather than living in that dump forever :) AND MY FRIENDS IM SO SO SO PROUD OF THEM AND HOW MUCH THEY'VE DONE AND I WISH THE BEST FOR ALL OF YOU :((

Maine Coon - Honestly I'm not too sure how others would describe me, or even how to encapsulate my personality into one word--I'd like to say I'm energetic but I also have my moments of not being as much, I'm nice but I know I can be a bitch, I'm a lot of things but I'm really unsure of what word could describe me, plus I don't remember any good descriptive words rn :') (I'm so tired)

American Shorthair - I have many things that comfort me, id say my friends are my biggest comfort, as cheesy as it is. My friends remind me I'm not alone and have reasons to keep going, even when it feels impossible. I also often tend to latch onto games and streamers/YouTubers for comfort (a big one is hermitcraft!! :D), many of the people I watch now are people who practically raised me and I love them dearly. Another few smaller things that I find help comfort me are things like music, tea, or small things like animals (my cat!!!) or stuffed animals :3

Tiger - Another one that I'm not entirely sure how to answer :( "Being cute and being mine" -☀️ I think I went through the 5 stages of grief trying to come up with something that's all you're getting, oh yeah and my worst is probably the fact that I'm indecisive or like impulsive idk

Cougar - Hehehe fandoms 😇 Definitely undertale, fnaf, and sanders sides in the later years. I was (unfortunately) an aphmau kid back in 2015 but that was more watching her content and less fandom stuff. The undertale and fnaf ones definitely didn't ever stop, I got really into sans aus back during covid and relied on all three of those fandoms for comfort during the quarantine too. Sanders sides definitely helped me over the years before and during covid, it was definitely a rough time in my life as I was learning new things about myself and others around me, and it helped me so much with learning how to be me and accept myself as I am. As for a fandom I'm really active in now, id say the one I'm most active in is Hermitcraft (so surprising!!! 🙀) I got super into it back in season 6 when grian joined because I watched his content before he joined, and now I watch most of the hermits, I do tend to focus on a few each season while watching the occasional stream/video from the others though! Fishing Cat - I have so many I'm definitely going to forget some, I love learning new things and it's led to many hobbies that I do and will probably get back into in the future! :) I do crochet, it's something I have been learning since I was really young but couldn't get the hang of it for the longest time because my mom had a hard time teaching me it since she's left handed, I love reading, I read all kinds of things from old novels & poetry, romance and mystery, to nonfiction and sci-fi, I enjoy reading anything as long as it can keep my interest, and I loveee getting reccomended books (even though my to-be-read list is SO long), I like small crafts like jewelry making but it hurts my hands (especially the more intricate ones like fancy necklaces, bracelets, earrings), i love gaming, its a big part of who I am seeing as I grew up doing it, and even though i dont it as much anymore I still enjoy it and love playing games with my friends!! I enjoy drawing, but it's stressful because I'm not great at it and am way too perfectionistic over it. I used to paint but I never got too good at it and never had proper supplies, it was very fun though and I'd definitely get back into it sometime down the line. I listen to a lot of music, and watch youtubers/streamers. I like to go on walks, but with some of my health issues I don't go on them as often (I definitely will do more this summer though!!) and hanging out with my friends and animals. I plan on getting into sewing and possibly cosplay sometime so that will be fun to learn! I love creative hobbies, despite how stressful they can be when they don't go how I wanted it to :) I love seeing things I'm able to make evolve and get better and I get better at doing it, and I love consuming information and seeing people be people!!

Hi! I was really interested in this post and I thought that I’d try it!

My ingame name is Flick, she/they, I’m b-day twins with Leona, and I’m 15 going on 16 soon! (So no staff matches, please!)

I’m an introvert, and I’m on the spectrum. Probably ADHD or OCD? I’m still on the waiting list for a psych evaluation. I tend to overshare and get defensive easily.

I can’t stand clutter. If I’m in a messy environment I can’t function. I’m only productive if I need to do something I’m interested in. My lifestyle is based on my mood, so it fluctuates a lot. I consider myself to have pretty intense mood swings.

I like sunshine, grape juice, graphic novels, writing, drawing and cats. I dislike bugs, clutter, my siblings, hot weather and alarm clocks.

I’m homeschooled b/c my experience in public school wasn’t good. I hyperfixate on things. The current object of my obsession is Twisted Wonderland.

When in a good environment, I perform very well academically. I enjoy being physical (like in P.E.), but haven’t recently.

My life is kind of in a slump right now. My mental health is high, and I’ve been working on improving myself, but I haven’t gotten anywhere with social or physical health.

I’m hoping to change that soon and get out of my comfort zone. I want to have friends and be able to not get flustered or freak out around people. That’s a big goal of mine.

I think I’m a little like Rook, but I only focus on the beauty in art. Not people or architecture, just art. I feel happiest when I find a graphic novel that boasts the art style I admire.

The First Impression:

As soon as Kalim accidently made eye contact with you one time in the hall he was immediately attached to your side. Determined to be your friend.

The Relationship:

No matter how much you "overshare" kalim was right next to you eagerly listening to each word like a podcast....he may not remember all of it but he tries! No matter how defensive you become this clueless ball of sunshine was never taking any of it personally and always tried to make you more comfortable with him. Honestly it's hard to tell if he is extremely patient with your mood swings or just dosen't notice them.

Any intrests of yours are always fascinating to him, and as soon as you mention any Hobbie Jamil is physically holding him back from spending hundreds of thousands on supplies so he can join your fun. Though after Jamil is done wrestling him feel free to talk his ear off about your current hyperfixation. He is eagerly listening while nodding.

Being homeschooled and a bit deprived of social interaction was something both of you had experienced when younger and while kalim may refuse to feel negativity about this experience burying his emotions deep deep down it dose give him something to relate to you about.

Knowing that you love sunshine he always would try to get you to hang out at a park or eat outside with him, but would always avoid Scarabia or any hot and humid places prioritizing your comfort above all else.

As soon as he head you mention once in passing that you wanted to get out a bit more and make more friends this boy was all over it, dragging you around and introducing you to everyone he knew, constantly encouraging you to step out out your comfort zone.

He means well just put your hand on his shoulder and tell him to slow down a little.

The First Impression:

Jade was intrigued by you, or rather more specifically your tendencies. Granted, that they were nothing too outlandish but nonetheless the variety of emotions, reactions, tendencies and appearance mixed together at times could be quit the contradiction and always made his eyes linger on you whenever near

Why He Fell:

Honestly no one knows why Jade fell, perhaps not even Jade himself. Granted even if the Leech twin did happen to know it was very unlikely that he would tell you. Though over time it became clear how he would subtly glance around the room, or how he would casually inch twords you, even getting to the point where he would randomly muse to himself about whatever had your focus raising his voice ever so slightly louder than usual or interject in your conversations. Soon this turned into light touches such as picking a leaf off your uniform or brushing your hair out of your face, which became bolder casually grabbing your arm or shoulder to steer you eventually morphing into him putting a arm around your shoulders or resting his chin atop your head.

The Relationship:

When you did begin dating the closer you got the more that it was clear that Jade was in no way the more reasonable twin, he just happened to be more composed and less upfront than Floyd was. This was made clear the more time you spent with him being just as chaotic as his brother, having a tendency to hang around whatever he had deemed amusing.

Being that he has a rather moody brother himself the male delt with your mood swings quite well, even if they were particularly bad at times he always managed to take whatever you threw at him with an amused smile already being adjusted to have to live with a rather unpredictable and moody person since birth.

He was eerily good at picking up on your mood, interests, and current hyperfixations. Always knowing just where the line was and making sure to never cross it. Despite his surprisingly teasing nature at times that to some may come off as intimidating and everything in-between your relationship was built off of a mutual respect for one another's boundaries and care for eachothers needs.

It was good for him that he noticed how much you loved the sun and enjoyed being active, using this information to his advantage he began taking you on hikes with him. After a while of this happening he happening to note you tended to have more energy the day after and seemed to be more positive and productive causing him to make these hikes a annual thing making sure you have them at least once a week if not more.

As soon as you accepted Jade Leech as your partner that was it, there was not getting rid of him. There was no way he was letting you go over trivial fights and such like most relationships downfall. As far as he was concerned he was just waiting for the time to pass till he could legally make you his life partner. Though despite this he never stopped working on maintaining your relationship and keeping clear communication about the important things so that one day he will be able to get a ring on that finger. Though until then he'll just enjoy the ride.

Anon’s request: I was wondering if you could do maybe a headcannons of Loki with autistic reader who enjoys anime, manga and gaming (Pokemon, BNHA, Death Note, Etc) due to it's their coping mechanisms and comfort since their childhood they even help them to learn to mask but once you talk about their interest they become more open and cheerful

A/N: Wooooo one request done! This one was the easiest one for me once I got started, since video games are also a massive interest of mine (although I haven’t watched much anime for a while now… I should make time to get back into it once I finish the uni year). Enjoy!

In all honesty, a lot of anime and games likely wouldn’t be to Loki’s tastes – though that doesn’t mean he would ever stop you from enjoying them, especially when they’re so important for you.

Although if he catches you watching/playing something, there are some rare occasions where he might find himself staring at the screen for a while, more engaged than he had expected to be. Death Note would possibly be one of the series that he’s curious about.

There’s also some anime/manga he might come across where he genuinely finds the art style beautiful. He may suggest it to you, and even either watch it with you, or look through it once you’re done with it, just to look at the art.

The same goes for games that happen to stick out to him – whether it’s a bigger game like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or an indie game such as Gris, you may find yourself with the sudden feeling of your partner looking over your shoulder to admire the visuals.

If you’re playing/watching something with fighting, especially if it’s fantasy-related, you end up teasing him a little if he does stick around for a bit, because he can’t seem to stop himself from nit-picking the characters’ stances or moves.

A decent amount of your evenings are spent with him sitting on the couch, reading a book, while you’re leaning against him with your game console/controller or a manga volume, the two of you quietly enjoying your hobbies together for a while.

If he finds you playing/binging for too long, he’ll gently encourage you to take a break – especially if you’ve been looking at a screen for ages. He’ll offer to make you a drink of your choice, and let you talk to him about where you’re at in the media in question, so you can still enjoy it when you’re not consuming it.

In general, even though he has no clue what you’re talking about most of the time, he will listen to you rant about any big updates from a Pokémon Presents, or any other announcement streams. He likes seeing you so excited about the thing you love.

Will get you merch for your favourite media for your birthday/other celebrations. It doesn’t matter if that particular Nendoroid happens to ship from Japan and is incredibly expensive. He will find a way to get it to you.

He’s glad that you have something that brings you so much comfort, and will happily encourage you to indulge it. And if you find him low-key watching you play Pokémon Legends: Arceus, then that’s just a bonus!

Reasoning:

I bounced between a few characters at first when deciding your match, but eventually I settled on Touya for the best choice for you. He meets pretty much all of the qualities you desire in a partner, and I feel like the two of you are similar in a lot of ways, so you would easily understand one another and your needs would be pretty compatible in a relationship!

Headcanons About Your Relationship:

- Okay, so starting off I think your appearance would draw Touya in right off the bat. He sees you and he thinks you just look so good, he loves your aesthetic and style and just can’t help but stare. And he honestly doesn’t see much to lose, so he approaches you and openly admits how attractive he finds you. He won’t show it but internally he’s definitely stoked when you agree to go on a date with him lol

- And as the two of you get to know each other, it doesn’t take long to realize how similar you are. He fully respects your desire for independence because he’s the same way, he likes to handle shit himself and not be treated like he’s made of glass so he’s more than happy to give you space whenever you need it, and won’t ever try to butt into your issues unless you explicitly ask him for help and/or comfort

- Honestly in general he’s not the best with words, and while he’ trying to get better at expressing affection because he wants to be a good boyfriend for you and wants you to know that he cares, he definitely loves that physical touch and gift-giving are more your speed. Gifts are easy for him and he’s constantly bringing back things you like when he comes home (just don’t ask him if he spent his own money on them because the answer is only yes about 50% of the time, but the thought behind the gifts is clear!)

- And he’s probably not big on physical touch at first, it’s not something he’s had in a long time, but as your relationship goes on it becomes much more comfortable for him. And it’s a lot easier for him to give you a kiss when you walk through the door than it is for him to verbally express his inner feelings about you, so really, it’s a win-win <3 And I think he’d lowkey love it if you just come up to him and lay on it, it’s pretty soothing for him and he likes just being able to play with your hair as your head rests in his lap

- I could totally see him getting invested in a lot of your hobbies, too. For one I absolutely see him as a gamer, he may not be the most drawn to visual novels but RPGs and such are definitely up his alley and he’d have fun playing with you if possible! And if you asked him to join and watch you play through a visual novel, he may tease you about it but he’ll do it because at the end of the day he really does want to make you happy

- And he’s a big adrenaline junkie too! After what he went through when he was young, not a lot really scares him, and obviously his everyday life is dangerous as is given he lives with a bounty on his head. So he’s absolutely up to join you when you go ziplining or bungee jumping if you’re willing to let him tag along, and once you feel up for it and have the time, he’d happily set up a time for the two of you to go skydiving for the first time so you can cross that off your bucket list :>

- In general I feel like he’s the kind of boyfriend who wouldn’t mind getting into trouble with you, either on accident or on purpose lol. If something sounds fun to you then he’s down, he obviously doesn’t care less about any possible rules to be broken and he’s more than happy to help you sneak off if/when you guys end up getting caught :> He’s also definitely a gossip, he loves telling you about the interesting things going on in the league and listening to everything you have to say about the drama in your loved ones’ lives, and he’ll never fluster at a little banter or teasing from you as he can easily give it right back <3

- He’s definitely a big fan of stay-in dates, since it’s not exactly the easiest for him to be seen out in the world. But he’d be up for something like a picnic or camping, since it’s in a secluded area where no one’s gonna stumble on either of you. He feels a bit awkward being romantic in front of others anyways, but when the two of you are alone in the woods together, he’s not afraid of sneaking a cheeky kiss or flirting with you heavily just to make you tease him back

- He’s also a big fan of cooking together and then settling in front of the TV to eat and watch one of your guys’ favorite shows. I honestly don’t think Touya was much of a cook before you guys met, he definitely seems like the kind of guy who lived off of instant noodles and frozen meals when he was alone. But cooking with you actually makes it interesting, and it feels more worth his time when the food is feeding both of you rather than just being for him. Plus he knows that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel where he can snuggle up with you on the couch and binge one of your favorite shows together at the end of it, so he’s much more open to cooking once you’re there to do it with him

- He’d definitely be down to help you dye your hair, too! Pre-big TV reveal, he’ll sometimes ask you to help with touch-ups for his hair, so if you want his help changing the color he’s willing to join in, and has the experience to actually do a good job too! He doesn’t mind the way his skin ends up dyed bright colors for days afterwards, though he will tease you for your neon hairline every once in a while until the dye on your own skin fades away

- Not having much relationship experience isn’t really a problem for Touya, because he also has none to go off of. The two of you are just figuring out how a relationship works together, learning as you go and finding a rhythm that works for the two of you. There may be moments where you both stumble, struggling with the vulnerability that a relationship brings, but you’re so similar and so drawn to each other that you’re always able to work through things and come to an understanding together in the end <3

- Bonus: He thinks both your quirk and your villain name are SO FUCKING COOL omg he loves knowing that you’re able to help him break free of restraints in a sticky situation, he’s definitely not shy to admit that you’re hot shit and a huge asset whenever he’s talking with the League about you

Second Choice:

I also considered Shoto (what can I say, you just seem to match well with the Todorokis lol) and Shinsou when deciding your match! I feel that they would both be drawn to you and your personality, and they also both have many of the qualities that you look for in a match. They're both more independent people that would be into a lot of your hobbies, and both very heavy on physical touch imo (and gifts in Shoto's case too!) When I really thought about it, though, you and Touya just fit together so perfectly, so while I still think these two could be great matches to you he just seemed to match you so perfectly!

What is their current job?

I'm a scientist, Engineer and bringer of freedom… assassin… nice killer… outlaw? I don't know what to call my “nightime job”.

What do they think about their current job?

It's pretty much fun…usually. And often disturbing.

What are some of their past jobs?

I had a farm once. I helped Dethra and Bluctro here and there. But my main purpose was to sell our goods. Still did science besides that.

What are their hobbies?

Training, I guess. We also like to play video games when we have time. I like to read too. Preferably non-fiction.

Educational background?

After I was finished being homeschooled, I basically became my father's apprentice. That's where I learned computer science, AI development, coding and robotics.

Intelligence level?

Considering what I do… I must be on the more intelligent side. Never did an IQ test though.

Do they have any specialist training?

I don't have any diplomas or titles, technically. I had teachers in my life that you could have never found at any school.

Do they have a natural talent for something?

Yeah, science, I guess.

Do they play a sport? Are they any good?

I train a lot and I have quite a bit of experience in extreme sports.

What is their socioeconomic status?

Mine is very high. You could say it's a junkie… I know, that was a bad joke.

Kangaroos, they're big, muscular assholes. Penguins are also pretty neat. Did you know that some of them are tall as fuck?

What place would they most like to visit?

I would like to see the home I grew up in once again, including the basement.

What is the most beautiful thing they’ve ever seen?

That one time when I was almost bleeding out, back in 2045, when I saw Dethra for the first time. The bloodloss for sure played some part in it, but he looked absolutely majestic, standing tall with the trees behind him, sunlight shining through the trees, but never reflecting off of his body. Probably could have died in peace during that moment, knowing that such an ethereal being as him exists.

Music, art, reading preferred?

I really like bands like Metallica, ACDC and Iron maiden. You know, heavy metal and hard rock.

I like many kinds of art. But my favorite one must be slightly abstract depictions of humans and robots.

I like non-fiction books. The ones that talk about scientific topics.

Probably grey and black

Why would you want to know that? Don't you know that you should never share your passwords with anyone? Especially not with your interviewer.

I love to enjoy a salad before a warm meal. That includes a piece of meat and something like spaghetti besides it.
