adam is loud and imposing and wants to go to art school and winghead is more like the quiet and polite jock. adam sort of clings onto winghead bc he’s the only other “cursed” at their hs (hence the wings and antennae on their heads) and winghead is annoyed but complacent to his company.

monkey man promo interviews r just like oh yeah dev patel broke multiple bones during the action scenes and he simply shoved a screw into his hand and moved on and the sets kept burning down and the cameras were malfunctioning and we spent half a year editing a segment in a scene and we were trapped in an island for months and the crew was marrying n divorcing each other in total soap opera fashion but whatever we made it because if there's a will there's a way <3

Drivers leaving home at a young age to pursue karting then ultimately F1 and some of them (esp non-European drivers) don't get to travel with parents or guardians- it's an accepted fact of motorsport. But then I remember that interview where Daniel said he was 17 and a million miles away from home and all he had was a copy of The Castle, an Australian movie, and he'd watch it incessantly beacuse he was afraid of losing his accent and there was no one around to talk to... reminds me of that one James Agee quote about clinging to home because in the absence of home the vastness of the world might mean we don't exist at all

Prompt 22 - Apple

“Just one bite,” The old hag said to the beautiful princess. “And all your wishes will come true,” The princess lifted the glossy red apple to her lips and took a bite before falling down dead. 

“That’s it, I am never eating another apple as long as I live,” Sirius declared, wriggling out of Remus’s arms as he tried to get away from the telly thing Remus had brought home with him. 

“Sirius,” Remus laughed, grabbing at his trousers and yanking him back onto the sofa. “It’s not over yet. Just wait.”

“No, Moony, I need to get rid of all the apples in the house, they are now banned,” He wriggled again, but Remus had a good grip on him. He gave up quickly and took a swig from his drink as he settled back down to watch the film. 

“You know,” Remus started saying once the film had finished and Snow White was all rescued and living happily ever after. “Cider is made of apples,” Sirius looked down at the drink he’d been enjoying. 

“Nooooooo,” He cried dramatically and flung himself onto the sofa.

“Sirius, what are you doing?” Remus asked, amused, his head cocking to the side adorably as he tried to figure out what his boyfriend was doing. 

“I swallowed apples, that means I need a handsome price to come and wake me with true loves kiss, or I’ll have to stay here for eternity,” He puckered his lips, waiting. The lights went out. 

“Night, Sirius,” Remus’s voice called from the stairs. Sirius couldn’t believe it. He was just about to sit up and protest when soft, supple lips pressed against his. “Wake up Princess, it’s time for bed,” Remus murmured into Sirius’s ear. 

“That seems a bit redundant, doesn’t it?” Sirius asked, smirking at Remus. 

“Didn’t say we’d be sleeping,” Remus replied, already halfway out of the room again, tossing his cardigan at Sirius and starting to undo his shirt buttons. Sirius jumped over the back of the sofa and charged up the stairs after Remus. Okay, maybe apples weren’t so bad.

Sometimes I think I desperately want a star trek show or movie or something that revisits ds9 and what they're doing now....and then I think about how none of the new shows can seem to quite capture the....the vibes. The atmosphere (the film cameras and lack of advanced technology tbh) of the older shows and I just sigh and realize I don't actually want anything about ds9
