Yeah! I haven't read any fics focusing on them but I have seen that they exist! And also there's like a five sentence interaction in a fic I read ages ago that lives rent free in my brain. I think about it all the time when I draw Sixty.

dude i'm sorry for all the kanoshin posting but like the way shintaro immediately forgives kano for telling him as ayano how it was all his fault. what shintaro went through was so awful he lost all his friends and his Best friend committed suicide after apparently saying "it's YOUR fault for never noticing" like that shit does irreparable damage to ur well being bro. for all this time shintaro thought it was HIS FAULT that ayano killed herself

and when kano admits it was him who said that shintaro doesn't isolate it from everything else kano was going through at that moment, so he doesn't hold it against him and he forgives him so easily. and that bit is from shintaro's pov so when we switch back to kano and he's so guilty and sort of in disbelief shintaro doesn't hate him. sorry that entire part with kano's pov in the seventh novel reads SO extremely romantic towards shintaro it's crazy. maybe i'm just gay but "he used to smile at my sister in a different way than he'd smile for everyone else. now he's smiling at me just like that" girl. EXCUSE ME. i didnt even care about kanoshin when i first read the seventh novel btw and i was still like oh so kano's into him. got it.

like shintaro's the victim to probably the most cruel thing kano's ever done to someone and he FORGIVES HIM so for kano who hates himself it's like. something something he sees me at my worst and still has the nerve to be kind to me. something something.

and in between all that there's kido and mary like god shintaro ur so lameeee, and kano in his mind is like i think he's cool actually.... im not saying it out loud though. he's down so bad for him it's so funny because it switches from all those convoluted guilty feelings to kano sort of twiling his hair like omg he's so heroic. and it's kind of endearing

For a little while now the only thing about Sanders Sides I ever saw was artwork of hot characters you post to this blog. Today I decided to actually look up what this series was, with the hope of finding more things related to sexy snake people in cute outfits. So imagine my shock when I looked it up and found that it's all related to that guy from Vine that I watched YEARS ago. It's certainly not what I was expecting but after watching the first two videos in that series I have come to find that it actually a little bit interesting. Hi ! First of all I am so sorry. I'm SO sorry. Picture me groveling at your feet apologetically here. I'm SO SORRY. That I gave you the impression that SaSi was about sexy snake people in cute outfits. Getting into Sanders Sides and being surprised that Thomas "that guy from Vine" Sanders is the one making it is a near fandom-wide universal experience I think.

Also— glad you're enjoying the series!! The first few episodes are very old and my two favorites are two of the latest canon episodes (which still means they're old but whatever), and seeing as you said you only watched the first two, I do want to say: sexy snake guy is real. He doesn't look like that, obviously, he looks just like the rest of them but in another outfit, but he is 100% the hottest one of them. To me. In my very very unbiased opinion. It DOES get there and he's the best character and he's very important to my two favorite episodes. If you end up watching more, please please please feel free to tell me your thoughts, I want to hear all about it.

I’m late with this reply sorry! But I haven’t thought too hard about romance for the boys tbh! Any time I come across stuff with it in this fandom I’m mainly just like “cute” and move on haha.

That said, I do agree that Donnie is the one who has canonically shown the most interest out of them, and I personally am super tied to the headcanon that he’s bi with a heavy lean to women.

For Leo, I’ve mostly not thought of sexuality headcanons or romance for him, for headcanons and the like I mostly just heavy headcanon him as trans/intersex, but if I had to pick one I honestly adore him also being bi like Donnie, but with a heavier lean to men since I like the thought of them being two sides of the same coin, but different haha. I will say too that I vibe strong with Leo being more on the ace spectrum as well, maybe demi or grey.

That being said, beyond Donnie being bi with a preference for women and Leo being trans/intersex, I’m way more open and nonspecific in regard to headcanons like this, as again I don’t really think about any romances for this fandom much, I’m moreso a fan of family/friend orientated content haha. I like how vast and varied people are with their headcanons though, it’s nice to see people interpreting characters in different ways.
