I love how he's almost glowing. He's the brightest thing in such a dark setting. The eyes are immediately drawn to him despite him being so small. He's the main character, and it's like the world wants you to know that.

Despite being in such a horrible situation, seeing your nation so destroyed, you are glowing. You are the centerpiece and you are the light in this darkness.

sometimes I think about ctommy having to try and cope with Wilbur leaving, I think he went through stages, like when someone dies.

Denial, he pretends wilbur hasn't left. It's not real. A dream. A terrible, awful, cruel dream. He spends his days pretending wilbur will visit him soon enough.

Anger, He's angry he's done, he can't believe he left. That fucking bastard- leaving him alone? After everything they've been through? How could he leave him?

Bargaining, he spends hours praying. He begs for God to bring his brother back. He tries to write, addressing letters to "Mr Wilbur soot, Utah" and sending them with crows. He never gets replies.

Depression, he doesn't go out much anymore. Tubbo notices he's stopped knitting as much, stopped exploring, stopped visiting. Tommy doesn't tend to talk much anymore.

Acceptance, Wilbur is gone. He's not coming back. Wilbur is in Utah and he is not coming back. Maybe that's okay. Maybe it's better for him there. Maybe Tommy can be happy without Wilbur.

limbo rant ^__^

limbo is a terrible time for cranboo, the worst of his entire life. at first he’s told that he’ll be okay and because people CARE, he’ll be out of there in no time. and he’s a pretty optimistic guy. so he believes ghostboo in thinking it’ll be okay soon and he’ll get back to his family. and he doesn’t. after a year in limbo time, he starts to get a little worried, but is reassured by his ghost. he makes excuses for the first few years, knowing time moves faster here so they don’t understand that it’s a while for HIM. ghostboo keeps assuring him people care and will try to get him back. except they never do. and cranboo wonders if anyone ever cared at all. if ctubbo ever cared. if ctommy ever cared. if ANYONE he thought was his friend or at least cared about him at least a little bit ever truly did. and if they did, it wasn’t ever enough. and he’s left alone with something that hurts him for over three decades. he’s miserable. in my mind— he doesn’t get any sleep. barely any. a few hours a week, if he’s lucky. and you know. if you have those kinds of sleeping habits for an extended period of time, you start to hallucinate. he doesn’t know what’s real anymore. if he’s real. if anything before this was real or if it was all a dream he’s lost and will maybe forget. he has little to no proper social interactions— the only one being the one briefly with mexican dream. he doesn’t know how to talk to people anymore when he’s finally out. he has no brain stimulation— nothing to do for 33 and a half years. he has NOTHING to do, really. everything he was originally doing to pass the time became boring or maybe it made him so upset. because no one ever actually cared about him. he tries to kill himself. because there has to be something else. this can’t be it. he only gets around sixteen feet underwater before he’s coming up for air with his entire body burning. and it never seems to stop. when he gets out, he deals with the lasting effects for his whole life. michael worries about him so much. cranboo wakes up in the middle of the night thinking he’s back, and he’s horrified every time. he always has to usher michael back to bed because michael can hear him scream from the other room. cranboo forgets he’s a person. forgets how to be a person. people find him weird but he’s just dealing with the effects of death. he can’t look in mirrors anymore because he can’t recognize himself. he’s no longer optimistic, and almost everything that made cranboo himself has been taken away from him because of 33 and a half years of torture. he’s the most awkward he’s ever been and barely knows how to hold a proper conversation, specifically with strangers, and it just makes him kind of unapproachable . he truly forgets that he’s an actual person because those years were so dehumanizing it’s like he was never human in the first place. he can’t sleep most nights and can’t take care of himself that well but does his best with michael. luckily he can manage a lot better because he’s getting older. even a decade after limbo, he still gets nightmares, and he’s still scared. but he’s better

One of the things I love love love about the recent lore is showing how much cdream just has other things to worry about. Like, I said this at the time of the prison break, that I'd like if it just became clear that the whole cTommy bit was, at least to dream, mostly over with. Like he'd so a little terrifying for fun and stuff, but primarily he does have other plans to be working towards

Like, cWilbur was talking like the discs and lmanburg (which apparently has an e and I will not stand for that) and having control over specifically Tommy were dreams end all be alls, but we see, literally during that stream and again hours later that that's not true

The discs don't matter to him as much anymore, lmanburg doesn't mean anything to him, people have seen him as a villain for so long calling himself a terrorist is no big deal. Being unassociated with the dsmp gives him the power of not having power, he could declare anything and whats it really gonna do? Who's gonna listen to him?

I 100% get why, but it's so funny to me how far behind Tommy and Wilbur are in dreams personal development, like in the grand scheme of things he's very much moved passed them. your tags on how people don't know how to convey tommy's emotional maturity & awareness is. so true. I think a large part of it is people don't consider the disconnect between what Tommy notices and what he's able to communicate? Tommy could have the equivalent of a giant meta post in his head but he struggles to put all of it together into the right sentences so it never comes out eloquent and perfectly placed as if he's had hours to put it together. That's why he tends to use analogies and stranger descriptor words, because it's the best he can think of to convey his thoughts in the moment. They're like "oh ctommy understands cwilbur!" without considering the thought process it took to get to any of that understanding. Tommy's not thinking 'wilbur is so misunderstood and sad' he's like 'that's my asshole of a brother and he's done some shit things and it fucking hurts but i genuinely believe there's good in him and i won't give up on him' and it's rough around the edges and born out of love + experience, not the ability to take a step back and meticulously analyze wilbur like we as an audience are able to.

so ok. tommy possum.. obviously.. ive made certain posts talking about some aspects OBV so u might've read some of these before but oh well. ill start off first with how possums tend to live in other animals' burrows and holes - which fun fact for u, armadillos are pretty chill with possums staying in their dens with them :)! they also live under patios and in garages, anything of that sort that they can get into. that whole fact I display the entire bedrock bros era; Tommy living under techno's house/in his basement .. also I feel like it could also be used for pogtopia (while it isn't a burrow made by someone, it still is a hole that he didn't make So..) and whatever the fucking era is where ctommy and csapnap teamed up and they made base in ctubbos old house. But those are more iffy I feel

Possums are actually pretty social animals, they're /shy/ - in a way -but they like being near people. adult possums are seen being friendly with other adult possums and along with some other animals (+humans, but just because humans mean they're near food yknow, but it counts!) possums are also very cuddly, they cuddle with other possums for protection and for affection :) I just think ctommy doing that is Cute... like himm a ctubbo... Yes

i mentioned this in last ask so this will be quick but possums use their tails as another limb basically - use them to climb and hang in places (however not for long, the babies cant often hold their body weight) this one for ctommy I feel he'd use it to be sneaky and steal shit. probably most times its obvious he does it just because he wants to stir something up (for fun! its harmless. probably ^_^)

Because yknow. he's cdream) - next point in this one, sorry ull have to learn about cdream hc also but it'll be fast. CDREAM ! he is a rattlesnake hybrid to me, for a few reasons (did u know there's green rattlesnakes?) but one of them is possums are immune to rattlesnake vemon! (also scorpion venom, if you wanted to know) - that's important because my idea with these hcs is along with cdream not being able to get ctommy to listen, he cant Threaten him with venom - or drug him slightly with it, i guess - so exile happens. Okay fuck it I'm making this post.

So, we all know the dsmp fandom, especially on twitter, has a bit of a problem with leaktwt and often lots of controversy springing from stuff obtained by kiwifarms. I'd like to talk about this, because it's been pissing me off for months and it's getting ridiculous.

Please stop trusting information like this, or at the very least be cautious with how you interact with it, take it with a large grain of salt or maybe even a handful, don't take it at fucking face value and consider to yourself: why did they obtain this information and how did they obtain it.

Especially the how, because I've noticed the amount of illegally obtained data, from information unobtainable without some form of hacking to a lot of cases of spear phishing. Spear phishing, for those who don't know, is a targeted form of phishing against a specific person; phishing is often described as trying to obtain personal or sensitive information, and here the definition is applicable as digging through years worth of information otherwise inaccessible to the average user without purposefully searching everywhere for it, specifically information from or about a specific person.

This happens a lot, we see many cases, from the people who keep doxxing ccs, to the more recent things with certain information from Steam about Wilbur being made public despite the fact it's inaccessible without some sort of digging or manipulation, and now with (I believe, idk i've not really been looking at it for obvious reasons) the whole Tubbo thing and I believe that was leaked private messages of a friend, I could be wrong there. Either way, there's been so many cases of doxxing, leaked private messages, information inaccessible on the front end of things and it's getting to a genuinely worrying point.

And this isn't because I care about content creators, but I do care about upholding data privacy. Yes, even if they've said shit in the past, please don't go digging and digging because that does fall into spear phishing, and at the end of the day it is very dubiously legal at best. This is something we're taught about in fucking cyber security courses, for even further perspective on how bad it is. Not to mention, often this information is dug up by infamous leaktwt or kiwifarms, which are pretty known for bad faith digging up of shit.

These people dig it up for clout, they dig it up for attention, they do not care who gets fucking hurt and often bringing up old shit is going to harm more people than it fucking helps. It's even worse when you try to hold someone accountable for something someone else did, especially years in the past like it's their fault.

Just, please, stop supporting this, stop circulating this shit like morning gossip, because you're not only hurting people for no good reason, it's also often spreading illegally obtained information from people who commit cybercrimes on the regular. It breaks data protection laws, it breaks someone's fucking privacy.

Content creators are people. Respect their privacy, for fuck's sake, and stop egging on leaktwt/kiwifarms, because at the end of the day you're just telling them it's perfectly fine.

And their campaign of digging things up and harming people in bad faith doesn't end at your favourite cis white boy. They will harm minorities, and they already do, just for clout and fun. Stop it while you can before it gets out of hand, and make it clear they aren't welcome, because the fandom doesn't make it clear enough.

This isn't, of course, to say you cannot be critical of information found about ccs, but please don't allow a side effect to be encouraging or inadvertently making leaktwt/kiwifarms believe it's safe for them here, and that they are supported. Be critical when your fav is found to have said awful shit in the past, give them time to clarify, but also just... be a little critical about how accurate that info is, and who is supplying it. If you find yourself thinking 'now is this really legitimately obtained?' then maybe don't spread it, because it could be fake but a lot of the time it's already been addressed and is simply spread in bad faith.

And sure, they're exposing shitty stuff right now, but what happens when they doxx someone's address for fun?

Data privacy is important, it affects everyone, and even the worst people deserve to keep it. Sure, law enforcement and courts might be able to obtain this stuff, but you're not law enforcement nor a court and you're not entitled to personal data whenever.

great! Ok so some people are upset bc ctubbo forgave ctechno but said he couldnt forgice ceret yet.. They said it was ooc for ctubbo. Like I dont get why they're upset at that?? It makes sense to me.

Ctechno clearly hurt ctubbo more, dont get me wrong, his actions have affected ctubbo waaayyy more than ceret's betrayal, but thats the thing, ctechno didnt betray ctubbo. Ctechno has always been an anarchist and has always said he was gonna destroy L'manberg and then he did.

The whole festival thing was a mess but it wasnt a real betrayal, ctubbo barely knew ctechno and it was more ctubbo trusting cwilbur and then getting disappointed than him trusting ctechno (at least imo gimme ur thoughts).

But like he knew ceret, he GRINDED FOR LIKE 12 HOURS the day prior to the revolution with them and then he got betrayed. I dont think ctubbo EVER trusted ctechno, but he did trust ceret. A Lot.

So TO ME, since ctubbo is a very logical character, it makes sense that he would forgive the character who's always been very upfront about where his loyalties lie and why he still doesnt fully trust ceret.

i had never thought of that actually but that makes a lot of sense. that’s actually a great take towards ctubbo’s forgiveness (or better lack of lmao) towards c!eret.

imo as much as ctubbo is in fact still not over getting blown up, he doesn’t keep that much of a grudge against ctechno because. because ctubbo is just too fucking smart to. he understands ctechno was put in a weird position and understands why cwilbur and ctommy didn’t jump in and understands why ctechno wanted to just let it go. does he think they could have/should have done something to stop it? definitely. does he get why they didn’t? of fucking course. i’ve said this in that one other analysis about ctubbo and logicality i wrote but like — ctubbo can see big pictures and work a thousand steps in the future before anyone can even understand what the issue is. as much as ctubbo will probably never trust ctechno like he might trust others (in the same way he could never truly trust cwilbur after the festival), he’s also not going around hating him for it because. what’s the point? what’s the point of hating him, in the big picture? what does that change?

i think what ctubbo feels about ceret is different to that bc, as you said, ctubbo genuinely cared about ceret. ceret was his family. he didn’t love ctechno, but he loved ceret. his betrayal definitely hurt a lot more bc he was actually someone ctubbo loved and cared for and worked with before the betrayal. there was no weird position. there was no impromptu decision to be made. worse: it was the beginning of the end. i mentioned this in the cove today but i believe eret’s betrayal was, for ctubbo, the first domino to what would become the sequence that ruined his life and made him into all the ugly parts ctubbo has never been able to love. of course ctubbo still feels strongly about it.

has ctechno earned redemption? fuck no. but i don’t think ctubbo ever truly blamed ctechno for the festival. he blamed cwilbur for letting it happen, and blamed schlatt, and even quackity a little bit, even tho quackity did not have a hand in it in the way ctubbo told cranboo he did. ctubbo’s feelings towards the festival are complicated and gnarly and confusing in a way i don’t think even ctubbo understands them, but as i’ve read someone say today, ctubbo never outright blamed ctechno for his execution. ctommy did. only ctommy did. so why are people so adamant in pushing ctommy’s feelings towards the festival onto ctubbo in the first place?

has ceret earned redemption? absolutely. but there’s the whole thing on how someone earning redemption doesn’t mean the people they hurt are obligated to forgive them. so there

It starts out pretty bad, this is actually the worst ccSap has seen cDream since he first got here. cDream is Very Much Pretending like he isnt affected by knowing the people who are showing him more kindness understanding than he's ever received are also the people who are responsible for what he's become. SO YOU KNOW IT LIKE HIM JUST TRYING TO BE CASUAL WITH cSAM, HE IS COMPLETELY NORMAL AND FINE DO NOT MIND ALL THE SIGNS THAT HE'S ABOUT TO JUST COLLAPSE. Also this is the first time ccSap would be getting the full brunt I Am Indomitable And I Still Have My Claws cDream that makes everyone instinctively step the fuck back. cDream up to this point has been treating this with carefulness, because its Sap's face and Sap's voice but its all weird and different and cDream doesn't like to fight unless he feels he needs to. Unless he feels like he can win. But he's hurt and he can't trust anyone, and he needs to be alone he needs to think where are his items where is his armor he has no weapons and ccSap is really feeling like a threat right now. So he uses his height and he lowers his voice and he becomes the equivalent of feathers puffing out to make yourself bigger. I am not your Dream. And its one thing to know, on paper, that someone is dangerous. Its another thing entirely to be confronted with that danger, to feel your every hair stand on end and to feel the air shift into something tense, violent. ccSap is forced to confront the most dangerous version of his best friend. One that has killed. One that, even starved and half feral, without weapons, in a new world entirely, still might be able to take him.

He almost runs, he almost shuts the door. It would be easier, better, probably, to let Dream have his space. There is a cat in the doorway, mewling. cDream stops bristling for five seconds. He's wary. He likes that cat. He doesn't want that cat to be in the middle of the conflict. Not another animal lost, something good lost because of him. The five seconds are enough for ccSap to breathe, and register the danger aura as posturing, and think to himself, with an edge of mild hysteria Dream is so bony now anyway, I could probably pin him down. And approaches him slowly. Gets him to sit. Dream is stiff as they lay down and Sapnap rolls on top of him, until suddenly he's like a puppet with his strings cut, letting Sapnap shift him until theyre more comfortable, and maybe they talk a little more about all the things cDream was saying, his cold anger, but its fucking exhausting, and they eventually pass out with Patches curled up on Sapnaps back. Meanwhile: cTommy, waving around a blunt streak knife he stole from ccTommy's apartment: its just, this is all so fucking stupid, you just make kids sit in a room for hours a day and listen to some adult talk about things that don't matter? Why would you even do that??? Why hasn't any of them destroyed all the schools by now. Where's your tnt??? Phil: Please put the knife down I'm begging you.
