always my sworn duty to tell people how to read homestuck and that irs literally good . if you hsvent read homestuck before : do it , its literally good . if youre on pc download the unofficial homestuck collection ( not dead , those posts are obvious misinfo , it is literally still up on github , click that link its there ) . if youre on mobile heres a mirror . homestuck is still very accessible to the avg person you havent missed your chance forever ... its literally good . its a good webcomic

so bECAUSE OF THE PILOT TRAILER I WENT OUTSIDE AND STARTED SCREAMING AT 12AM SO NATURALLY SOMEONE THOUGHT I WAS BEING MURDERED AND CALLED THE POLICE AND WHEN THEY GOT HERE I HAD TO GIVE THEM MY EXPLANATION FOR SCREAMING AT 12AM SO I JUST SAID HOMESTUCK AND ONE OF THE COPS EYES SUDDENLY GOT REALLY BIG AND THEN HE SAID "VIVZIEPOP HOMESTUCK ANIMATED SERIES PILOT TRAILER??!?" AND THEN HE WATCHED THE TRAILER ON HIS PHONE I HAVE A GROWN POLICE MAN SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY CRYING ON HIS PHONE I HAVE A GROWN POLICE MAN SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY CRYING AND CURSING AT HUSSIE UNDER HIS BREATH HIS PARTER GAVE HIM A SHOCK BLANKET OH MY GOD

there's only two ways i see the Homestuck animation thing ending:

1) it never comes out and is quietly canceled

2) extremely loud and public falling-out of everyone involved after episode four gets delayed for like four years, the whole thing neatly documented in a Gio blog post sometime in 2031 with incontrovertible proof that the whole thing was a money laundering scheme to pay for Hussie's illegal underground baby racing ring

the unofficial homestuck collection is still available for download. it's right there when you google it

vivzie is the executive producer of the show. she isn't listed as a writer, artist/animator, or director

as executive producer, vivzie is presumably is in charge of hiring people, but notably there is a voice director separate from her (richard horvitz) that will most likely be in charge of casting

the director is skye henwood; she is an animation director and writer at spindlehorse

the hiveswap act 3 team and the show team are largely made up of different people (there are exceptions ofc such as andrew presumably overseeing both things because it's xeir story), their productions likely don't affect each other

we are getting more hiveswap news in october

the homestuck website is still being worked on (quote from james on july 1st: "I’m happy to announce that we should hopefully be operational again pretty soon, so please stay tuned for that and we’ll keep you updated when it’s finally back up and running.") i could have sworn he named a specific guy from the hsbc web development team who was working on it but i can't find the exact source for this at the moment. so the show does not impact this project either
