Actual professor here! Genetically, all humans are Normal types, though some of our relatively recent ancestors were Psychic. Part of what let us succeed as a species was reutilizing the brain power originally used for psionics to language and tool use. We do still have some vestigial psychic power that can be trained, though it's quite weak compared to most Pokémon. As for those born with psychic powers, this is considered nowadays to be like an egg move, passed down from parent to child. And no, obviously learning Fighting moves doesn't make you a Fighting type, there is no way for a human to change their type.

So, please enjoy what will hopefully be the only snippet (godwilling) of the Why Are Buck and Eddie So Dirty At Madney's Wedding fic. This snippet is from the very beginning and yes, it is Bucktommy (for now), no I will not apologise for it. Enjoy!

“You-you’ve never called me that before” he breathes. Tommy brushes the pad of his thumb over Buck’s bottom lip, releasing it from his teeth. He brushes his other hand through Buck’s hair, fingers threading through his yet-to-be-tamed curls. “What, baby?” he asks, grinning as Buck’s eyes flutter shut at the utterance of the name once again. “Is that okay?” ‘Y-yeah,” Buck nods, leaning forwards to brush their noses together again, angling his face up in an implicit request for a kiss. “I kinda liked it.” Tommy hums out a laugh and Buck feels it reverberate deep in his chest. “I’ll keep that in mind,” he says softly, and he hooks his finger under Buck’s chin, just like he did the first time they kissed, and captures Buck’s lips with his. Every time he’s kissed by Tommy, Buck is introduced to a whole other side of the word “soft”. He’s had the feminine “soft” plenty of times, with the way Abby would curl into him after a long shift, or how Ali would brush his hair from his forehead with her nimble fingers, and even on the rare occasion with Taylor, when she was sleepy and would crawl into his arms and fall asleep in seconds.  With Tommy, it’s different. Tommy holds Buck like he’s a fragile egg, smoothing his thumbs over the cracks and balancing him in his palm. He’s soft in the way he holds Buck to his chest, or the way he kisses Buck’s hair while they’re watching a movie, or how he knows when Buck’s had a bad shift and needs to get out of his head for a bit, and will come over with pizza and beer and promises of kisses.  He’s soft in the way he presses his palm to the small of Buck’s back when they’re out together, but not as if he’s pushing Buck in a certain direction. More like he’s grounding Buck, showing him that he’s allowed to be out, happy, with a man.

About Me:

I am a butch lesbian, married to a badass gnc (but not butch) radfem lesbian goddess whose misandry surpasses even my own; she does have tumblr but rarely uses it - @psychichologramnightmare is hers. I'm 28/Taurus/May baby, though I'll be real, I've never liked astrology and found my birth chart n whatnot always laughably wildly inaccurate to me (sorry astrology girlies). Former competitive rock climber, still in love with hiking and climbing. Wilderness survivalist. Trained & armed woman, advocate for female-only firearm ownership.

My wife and I run our own business, and bought our first home together at 24 & 25 respectively - it's a lovely 4/3 on a quarter acre where we have 5 mango trees and more, plan to start growing our own food and herbs, foster kittens, and provide free housing (and more) regularly for those in need. We do a LOT of IRL feminist action/work/organizing. I post about some of that work pretty often, but I couldn't possibly post about all of it (even if it were safe to do so). I am basically organizing (mostly offline, but some online as well) full-time now.

Survivor of abuse, CSA + captivity, trafficking in my teens where I was forced into porn as a minor, the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando 2016, and more. I am no longer affected by any of these in any negative psychological manner. I own my past, every moment of it, and wouldn't change a thing I've experienced. What I often tell people is, "I'm not glad it happened; I'm glad I was there."

I practice "witchcraft" (kind of...) as a form of artistic expression. I don't subscribe to any literal metaphysical/supernatural/whatever set of beliefs or narrative, and have had a lifelong inability to believe in such things, but I am passionate about lesbian-centered/lesbian-exclusive (esp butch & gnc lesbian) witchcraft. I am also using this practice in part to connect further with my ancestors and their culture & way of life, but this would take a full essay to elaborate on/explain.

I got my Bachelor's in Neuroscience/Neuropsych, used to work in a top neuro research lab, and have been a coauthor on a peer-reviewed scientific journal publication. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on POTS, ADHD, some of the relevant epigenetics, and norepinephrine dysregulation. I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos & POTS in 2015, before pretty much anyone had heard of them (including most doctors). My POTS is very well-managed now, but chronic pain from EDS is more of a struggle. I recently went for testing for EDS subtype and was diagnosed with Type IV/vascular-type EDS (VEDS).

Adoptee with complex history. Working through a lot of feelings surrounding my ancestry - one birth parent was white, other was almost entirely indigenous Mexican (Nahua), and I have like zero personality traits in common with the former but have only been able to meet them irl not the other side - and the fact that my adoptive family (white) has not always handled things well in raising adopted kids. I only learned my full biological family history as an adult and was lied to by them about it my whole life. Which, looking back it feels like I always knew on some level, as adoptees often seem to, and it puts a lot of my childhood difficulties etc in context. Adoption-critical but not abolitionist - I plan to adopt with my wife in a couple years. I've talked a fair bit about my experiences, adoption trauma, ethical adoption, and more. I spent many years surrounded by majority-trans-identifying friends/acquaintances both irl and online, deeply involved in trans spaces & activism, and even identified for a bit & was on T for a while. I am not "uneducated" or unfamiliar with trans-identifying people, their experiences, or gender identity ideology in general. You, like me back then, very probably have been lied to about radfems ("terfs") and what we believe and fight for. I am happy to talk in good faith (provided you do the same) 1 on 1 with anyone who is curious about what we actually believe and what we stand for, what common radfem takes on gender identity ideology & trans identity actually are and why.

I have a history of purely physical sex dysphoria (physical sensation like pain or itching). I got "top surgery" (elective mastectomy) due to this and other reasons: constant painful breast cysts & very large breasts (DDD even when I weighed under 100 lbs). I was not trans-identifying by the time I got this surgery (though I tried to briefly identify as nb/transmasc just bc I felt obligated, but hated it). I have never wanted to be a man socially and genuinely hated the very thought. I came out the womb feminist, got in trouble throughout primary school for fighting boys who tried to pull sexist bullshit, always lowkey believed in female superiority (I mean just look at our biology, lifespans, pain tolerance, the things we've done throughout history despite violent patriarchal oppression...). I spent years preparing myself. I read from & spoke to women who regretted this surgery, challenged myself at every turn, dove deep into my mind and thought processes, tried alternative treatment attempts, worked with a non-affirming therapist, made sure my past traumas were fully healed, and waited until I was in my mid-twenties so my brain was more or less fully matured. I have no regrets about it. I still have some (still purely physical sensation) dysphoria ("phantom male genitals" type of thing) at times, but have come to manage this very well. More on this here.

I don't really have a top 10 of my fav fics. You see, i'm more of a writer than a reader and ever since i've started reading fanfictions, i've never really added them to my favorites so I can go back to them whenever I wanted to. My modafinil package's tracking details now say "Package Exception" and "Your package is being returned" (both in orange text), and "Item returned from import Customs." I panicked, assuming my package was canceled, since modafinil is a Schedule IV controlled substance.

Then I did a bit of googling, and found some stuff saying that "Package Exception" and even "Item returned from import customs" do not necessarily mean the delivery is canceled. WTF? Wildly counterintuitive if true. So I guess I am in suspense now. Worrying and waiting for more details in the coming days.

I have ordered from this supplier several times, and this has never happened. But there have been three potentially significant changes in between my previous order and this current order: (1) I am ordering a larger amount (oops?), (2) the website's URL has changed and now requires an email address to even look at the site (uhh), and (3) I am living in a different state. So these could all be possibly bad news.

I'm not very worried about getting in trouble, since arrests for ordering modafinil appear to be vanishingly rare (at least as of Gwern's investigation several years ago, iirc). But I am worried that I won't get my delivery. I hope I can get my modafinil, so I can use it to read and write more essays.

In the next few days, if my package is still making progress, then the tracking site should update again to indicate this.

https://kirstenimages.com/ is a fan site and the largest, most thorough and most popular archive of actress Kirsten Dunst's career since 1998, and back in June of this year it started going to a Webmaster error page every time I tried to look it up, and I don't know if either the url simply changed and I can't find it, or it's just gone, which I REALLY hope is not the case, there's so many photoshoots/interviews/screencaps/magazine scans/candids that might be gone forever

there /are/ other Kirsten Dunst fan sites but none of them are nearly as thorough as kirstenimages, for some reason the main page https://www.kirsten-dunst.org/ and it's other pages are still up, but just not the gallery (aka the main reason to use the website)

By the way, the main website I linked /was/ posting gallery updates up until the site went down, but now it only shows gallery updates most recent as July 2023 (which still doesn't work when you click on it by the way)

I checked the "contact us" section in the "site & online" section for emails, and I emailed both emails listed, but I haven't gotten anything in 3 months, those emails are most likely very old and defunct, I've also emailed the Webmaster email and it keeps giving an error saying my emails didn't even go through

"Why don't you just use the wayback machine" because not all of it is archived, and the stuff that is doesn't usually load the images here is literally so much on that site, it'd take a long ass time to archive it all, I luckily saved a little bit of photos from the site that you can't find anywhere else but it's not even close to the amount of photos that are actually on the site

I just think it'd be tragic if it was lost because Kirsten herself knows this site, she's posted photos directly from the site on Instagram before, and even sent them personal photos to post on the site before, and it really is a good archive of photoshoots especially, photoshoots you might not find anywhere else, or anywhere in HD like on their site, there were also rare low quality photos that aren't anywhere else either.

The longest the site has been down was at least 1 month before, like last year in March I think, so this is vexing me

Instead of blood or anything, he has something called "glitchiness", which is essentially his life force. Also, it enables him to corrupt worlds and glitch things around. It is a solid magenta color, particularly hex FF10FF

If he dies, his colors fade and a frown appears on his face. This is because the glitchiness fades away from him if he dies.

An AU of him exists called Sin!Swag, which is literally the embodiment of all my darker thoughts and/or urges. It's based off of those Undertale AUs where Sans goes mad and kills everyone.

He can also be smoked, but it results in you getting a high where there's a high likelihood of you never coming out of said high. Said high often includes very vivid hallucinations that feel like you're actually there, and even a smoking a small amount of him can trigger these effects.

Also, I often make versions of him/this mc skin to suit my mood and to have a little variation on everything. For example, I have made a version of him with a sad expression.

The mc skin for him is actually a missing texture skin I made for another youtuber named NoodlesTheAsian, but he told me he quit Minecraft at the time, so I started using it as my main mc skin.

He is very, very hard to kill/destroy, as he is a glitch, and glitches practically never die. Glitches can only be patched, and they have a chance of coming back.

He only causes chaos and destroys/steals things when he knows he is alone and isn't being watched by anyone else.

There's an alter version of him called InvertSwag, and it basically does the absolute opposite of everything he does. Instead of destroying, InvertSwag creates. This version is also known as Negative SwagRum or _67muRgawS. I prefer to call him Negative SwagRum, as it fits well. (also Negative SwagRum's goals and ambitions are the complete opposite aswell.) Also, he rarely appears if SwagRum glitches out severely enough. He is also more unstable than the normal variation, and always has to keep the regular variant of swagrum at bay. So this does in fact, further support this post in showing that the person behind the current blog is also the person behind the deepeagletimetravel. After all, only the owner can change a profile unless they were hacked... but why in the HELL would a hacker just change the tumblr link, and why in the hell would you not change it to your correct tumblr? Meaning this is a new url for the buymeacoffee/AmeeradelzC, only the name was changed. The same exact tumblr link is on the archived version of the previous scam's fundraiser page.

Now. If casualdonutfire has an explanation for this, that'd be very welcome, because what in the everloving fuck is going on here? I have webarchive shots showing both the terminated blog and its fundraiser page, so WHY does this "new" fundraiser link back to it? Is it just a revamp of an older, existing fundraiser page? Very possible. Just as scammers will change the names on paypal accounts, they could very well just reuse old accounts.

By looking at the waybackmachine captures of the 'Ameera' fundraiser page, it was cleared out at some point from August-September 2023. From digging through reblogs to get better timestamp nonsense, the last post was around August 8th 2023. So if someone was caught as being a scammer about that time, cleared out their buymeacoffee page, and forgot to remove the tumblr link, that would check out, as the story was yes, cleared from that page sometime between August 4th and September 26th (based on waybackmachine captures).

Hello Reddit transfers! Here's some scam spotting tips

Hi! I'm Key (Or Jess), and I'm here to give you some tips to spotting scams. Think of my blog as a subreddit but with several posts a day that often show a scam post or give scam information. All this info is done as a hobby so I'll give you a rundown on the basics of how pet donation scams work here. If you like my hard work, feel free to throw me pocket change or check out my Ko-Fi where I take art commissions. Or just say thanks!

If you share a popular/trending text post, you may get an ask from a blog who wants you to share their pinned pet post. They'll ask you to answer the ask privately but urge you their pet is very ill and needs aid quickly. Commonly, this pet is a cat. But on occasion it's a dog. The ask will tell you their not a bot/etc and are just a person, promise!

If you check the blog, turn timestamps on under dashboard settings. By doing so, you'll get to see the date their pinned post was made. Usually, these posts are only a few hours old or even a few days old so always take caution if you see it's a post that isn't very old. This isn't always a red flag for a scam post, but it's advised to pay attention since you'll see these kind of things often enough since the scammer barely changes up their pattern.

Scrolling the account should also show you how many posts the blog has made. Often, you'll only find roughly 100 posts that are always made within minutes of the other. These posts come from a trending tag of the day generally and are rarely tagged since their just shared all at once and then nothing else. You will usually also see the archive has been turned off since the blog is set to only dashboard view and only accessible to logged in users. This measure isn't always a sign of a scammer, as users can have real reasons for this! But it's a common tactic for scam accounts.

The post tells you the cat/dog is suffering from some medical condition and claims the op will get paid in a few weeks but they need the money before then and they promise they'll pay you back when they reach their goal. Not all users who make posts like that are scam accounts and many of them are real people who will return the help once they can. The op will also tell you to send money by friends and family because they need it quickly and don't want it held up. Usually they'll have a link that will tell you to send them funds there.

However, you may notice some things are off in the post itself. While the op asks for USD, their pay link says their in the Philippines which is not USD and would require conversion rates to apply. Not all PH-based bloggers are scammers and some are disappointed that some people are. Its sadly a well known thing here that this scammer is from there but no one knows who they really are as every name used is stolen off a private aid group. Another thing to do is check the notes and see how many reblogs are directly from the op. Usually you'll find several.

If you want to, it is suggested to ask the op if they can provide you proof they own the cat/dog if your unsure of the legitimacy of their claim. For example, ask them to write their url on a piece of paper and take a picture of it on top of the pet they supposedly own or even post a short video of them calling the pet and holding the paper in sight. Usually this results in the op likely blocking you.

It's suggested to warn anyone sharing these scam posts and reporting scam accounts under Phishing as it's usually the fastest way to deal with them on a daily basis. This scammer has been doing this for years and even brags about how they get away with it since they make hundreds of dollars doing it and ruin the reputation of the names they steal.

These scammers are also stealing content from private facebook groups and reposting them here without the owner being aware of it. The scam accounts are saving pictures and passing them off as their pet. Watermark your vet bill and pet pics in your aid posts if you want to deter scammers from stealing it for future uses. If you are in a fb group that posts vet bill help, please inform them a scammer is going around taking their posts and reusing it for fraudulent reasons. I have seen cases where some scammers even used pictures off Reddit to use for scams.

20. you can only change one plotline in the entire canon—what would it be and how would you alter it?

FUCKKKKK ONLY ONE? hmmm....

I do think there is a part of this question that is phrased strangely, I understand the "only one plotline" thing in theory because it requires you to limit yourself to one decisive answer. But that also kind of implies that the One Plotline you're changing has changes that are all self-contained and ultimately return things to the status quo, which is typically not why I would make a change in plot to begin with. If I'm making one big major change in the plot, typically its going to be something major enough that the rest of the series is affected, which kind of conflicts with how the question is intended...

With that in mind... I mean the easy answer is something Aaron-related, but honestly most of his issues stem from a character standpoint given he rarely ever drives the plot forward meaningfully unless he's literally killing himself lol. There's not a lot of single isolated plot issues for him, I don't know if I could fix him without really going back to the roots and really domino-effect-ing him and how he interacts with the rest of the plot moving forward. sooooo...

If I had to do a more self-contained plotline change, it'd be the circumstances around Garroth's S1 betrayal. Easily.

Judging by how quickly everyone forgives him, the series itself seems to forget that people got hurt, killed, and had years of their life stolen because Garroth got mad that Aphmau maybe romantically liked someone else. It relies on miscommunication and poor characterization to even be executed at all. Eek.

Canonically, one of his biggest weaknesses is that he invests too much into people. He couldn't kill Zenix despite Zenix actively trying to kill him multiple times because of how much time and love there had been between them. Are we really expected to believe he'd betray Aphmau on the off chance she might've done something that could've hurt his feelings? Are you kidding me? This is stupid.

Seeing as how the series treats him as if his motives are already easily forgivable and justified, just changing the motive to be... actually that, keeps the change relatively self-contained here. So! Lets give him a motive that actually makes sense here:

Zane promises the war will be endless unless Garroth gets him what he wants. He's scared of O'khasis' military might and knows what they can do. Lillian is still a method of coercion, mostly as a contact point between him and Zane.

He's trapped in a lose-lose situation, both actions causing Phoenix Drop harm, growing sick and locking himself in his room from fear and indecision. It culminates in his betrayal in the S1 finale, his fear of O'khasis and Garte outweighing his trust in Aphmau and Phoenix Drop. This leads into a much more viable change of heart in the S1 finale, and a much more natural redemption afterwards.

No but on a serious note, I think it's natural to put pieces of yourself into characters, and with Vylad that comes very naturally to me. He has always fascinated me, even since before we had much confirmed about him (I very vivdly remember trying to talk to people about him being the Elusive Third Sibling of Garroth during S1, only to get VERY confused responses). When he got properly introduced in S2, only to justify basically everything I had ever theorized about him to be right, it was very satisfying lol. I don't think I can fully answer the "why" here without getting very personal, but here's some stuff I feel comfortable sharing!

Green and red are important colors for Vylad, and they're important for me too!! Green has basically always been my favorite color since the dawn of time, although I did go through a strong purple phase when I was younger.

The way he acts and behaves can be very easily read as autistic/otherwise neurodivergent. I saw/still see a lot of my behaviors in him in a way that made him very comforting to me when I was first watching the series in 2015, and still makes him very endearing to me now ^-^

I am a sucker for characters who go through a literal death + transformation afterwards. Big fan of symbolism. Somewhat for transgender reasons personally, but also stuff beyond that.

Weirdly enough though, I'm not a sibling! I very very frequently find myself identifying with characters that have strange sibling relationships, but I'm an only child! I don't know why this keeps happening.
