-words are pronounced exactly the way theyre spelled

-english is germanic, so many words are similar enough that u can easily figure out the meaning jst by looking at the word (Milch=Milk, Buch=Book, Bruder=Brother, Schwester=Sister, etc etc)

-other words are just word+word and german is so Literal with naming shit so if u know some words its easy to kinda figure out what smthng means (Handschuhe = literally, “Hand Shoes” = Gloves)

-vocabulary is So Easy to remember bc of these above 3 points like frfr

so, i have 2 questions, i dont want to pressure u tho ♡ first of all, been struggling with motivation to do my workouts/go to the gym and meditations recently becuase im a high key procrastinater and cant seem to stop, do you have any tips on how to keep motivated? xx

And second, i do a lot of class presentations at my school and constantly struggle with them, because of an ongoing anxiety about reading in front of others. apart from the fact I'm quite antisocial and have a couple of friends so i dont know ppl very well, i can't seem to find confidence, do you know any ways i can develop better social skills when it comes to public reading/speach? xxx tysm

hi angel! you sound so kind - of course i am so happy to answer your asks! ill break it up into two parts to help make it a little clearer and easier to read.

gym/meditation motivation: the first step is carving out time in your day for these and starting small. it’s pointless thinking okay ill do half an hour of meditation and two hours of working out a day if you dont have the time/energy to do that! instead make the time to begin your day with five minutes of meditation and try and do half an hour of working out, you can always build up the amount of time but you will feel better and more motivated if you are able to meet your goals and then expand them as opposed to feeling bad and shrinking them if you struggle to meet them. secondly i would say find workouts that appeal to you and are fun! dance, pilates and weightlifting are some of my favourite solo workouts but group workouts are so fun and you can experiment and find workouts that appeal to you. also if you like guided meditations try and find ones that interest/deeply calm you to make them more fun to follow. thirdly romanticise your workouts! create cute playlists, gym outfits, buy a cute yoga mat, do your hair and buy a pretty waterbottle. this will help you feel more encouraged and comfortable to workout and also feel way more of a fun event as you dress up etc. finally! reward yourself. after an hour of working out give yourself an hour of screen time, buy a cute drink, if you hit your monthly workout goal amount buy some jewellery or get a present for yourself. rewarding yourself and taking the time to look after your body and mind will help you feel more motivated.

this is a bit of a tricker question but hopefully i am able to help even a little bit. firstly you could try practicing reading presentations/work aloud. start by reading it to yourself until you feel confident pronouncing all the words and the speed you feel confident speaking at. then read to a trusted member of family or a friend and ask for feedback or improvements that you can adapt and hopefully feel better and more confident in your speech afterwards. secondly joining some kind of club/activity that requires you to speak could be very useful, for example a drama or debate club, even if you arent super active as a member or choose to do a more casual kind of group, being in a setting where public speaking is encouraged could help you feel more confident! thirdly watching/listening to speeches and body language of people doing public speaking or giving speeches can be really useful and help you focus on what you might need to improve on. finally while it seems difficult try and remember that almost every person in the room is also nervous about public speaking and reading aloud, they may just not show it. you arent the only person who struggles with this, so many people get anxious about public speaking and you should be able to feel better and more confident about it with time!

You and Bill are having a sleepover, youve been great friends ever since you could remember.

He has a secret you were never allowed to know, however, his brother, Tom, always tried telling you it, giving you hints, etc..

After this happened tho.. you mightve discovered Bills little secret towards you..

You had just washed your makeup off, getting ready for bed while Bill is still laying in bed , listening to music and drawing.

- “Bill, come on, go wash your makeup off and brush your teeth, its getting late.. you can listen to music even when your face and teeth are clean, you know?” you complain, making him get up , groaning as he walks to the bathroom.

You shut the lights off and tuck yourself into your bed, getting comfortable, you hear Bill brush his teeth and you sigh happily, having nothing on your mind.

You start singing yourself to sleep, slowly dazing off.

Bill tiptoes back to the room and sees you already asleep and he smiles.

His bright teeth shine , he had just cleaned them. His eyes still a bit messy, the black resudue from the partly-washed off eyeliner is still on his eye, he looked so messy but so perfect.

His face was wet since he just rinsed it off with water, his shirt aswell, since he cant wash his face without his shirt getting more water on it than his face itself.

He chuckles as he sees you sleeping soundly, he slowly approaches the bed and since next to you, watching you sleep so peacefully for a bit.

He then remembers and gets up to take his jeans off, theres no way youd let him sleep in jeans on YOUR bed, he giggles as he takes them off, remembering how you always told him not to sleep in jeans.

He then softly snuggles up to you, digging his face into the crook of your neck and letting his hands explore your torso.

His hands glide under your pj shirt , caressing your stomach.

He slowly dazes off aswell, happy to smell your sweetness, cuddling.

In the morning, you open your eyes only to see Bill in the same position he fell asleep in.

You pause.

“How did this happen..?” - you whisper to yourself.

You slowly move away and admire him as he sleeps, how precious.

About half an hour later he wakes up, sees you staring and him and he blushes, he didnt expect you to be awake already, not to mention you staring at him… did you see him cuddling you?

- fukunaga only ever calls tora by his full government given name when he is Displeased. tora used the pan he needed for dinner tn so now he has to wash it? taketora. tora rearranges his living room w no warning? taketora. doesnt even say it in a mean/angry tone or anything j matter of fact as all hell. honestly i think if fukunaga was ever genuinely angry abt smth hell would probably freeze over

- when tora first moved to yokohama he got a cat bc of course he did he graduated from nekoma. tf else was he supposed to do, get a dog? (maybe in the future)

- very very fluffy very cute very sweet tuxedo girl. her name is "destroyer" (yes really) he calls her badass on the reg and she is sooo cuddly w him. fukunaga finds all of this extremely funny

- in fact when fukunaga starts visiting suddenly destroyer doesnt gaf abt tora anymore. worse than pain of death in his opinion it is So Not Fair. first thing fukunaga does after he meets the cat is send a pic to the old nekoma gc "top 10 cats that like me more than they like their owners" tora throws a pillow at him "i RAISED her from a BABY" "did u rly" ".....NO BUT IT AINT RIGHT"

- after theyve been together a few months toras thinkin abt how fukunaga used to Never Talk Ever and he makes a joke "ha i guess i learned how to speak BODY language am i right. right shohei. thats funny right"

- fukunaga calls him taketora for a week. tora retires that joke permanently and they never speak of it again

- tora morning person fukunaga not-exactly-a-night-owl-but-doesnt-love-being-awake-at-5:30 person. one time fukunagas in yokohama for the weekend he wakes up at 6 annoyed as hell (tora got up at 5 and left for a run) bc wtf his pillow literally got up and walked away. falls back asleep wakes up again at 10 tora made not only coffee but pancakes too AND heated them up for him hes immediately like ok nvm this is fine actually no complaints (<- still gets annoyed when his human teddy bear ditches him)

- TORA BABE SAYER. hey babe thanks babe i missed u babe. but it took him foreverrrrrr (forever) to get comfortable actually saying it instead of thinkin inside so there was also (and still is) a lot of dude (romantic) bro (romantic) man (romantic).

- fukunaga doesnt like saying pet names or anything (but to be fair does he like saying ANYTHING most of the time) but does not mind being called them at all (that's a lie he thinks it's awesome and so so so sweet but when tora asks if it's okay he says he doesn't mind)
