Romani person here I'm smiling so BIG that you hc Kaeya as Romani!! I actually had similar thoughts about Nilou when I did her story quest, especially how she spoke about the theatre being a gathering place and a found family for people. I don't remember the ins and outs off the top of my head and I'm just kinda yapping SORRY but like theatre was a place where queer and Romani people intermingled a lot and theatre cant was developed from Romani language, queer slang and all sorts of other sources
