also the parallels between amber and house in this episode were so explicit and so well-made, the writers really wanted us to know these two were the two most important things in Wilson's life and he came so close to losing both of them. He lost Amber, he almost lost his best friend/soulmate, and he likely thought it was all his fault because, well, he's Wilson and also it all happened bc he wasn't able to go get House from that stupid bar... I hope we actually get a glimpse of Wilson's thought process of this in s5 because the potential is delicious.
