A/n: honestly how do i tell you guys that there's double penetration in something through a moodboard???? like i struggled so hard with this one you're just going to have to believe me. i went with more of a nostalgic vibe because the ending of the heat is actually really sweet and pretty.

It isn’t the first time Tae has used your bare back as a rest for her notebook. It’s comforting. The feeling of the paper against your bare skin. Her non-dominant hand tickles over your shoulder as you doze, not fully asleep lazing in the water.

Yoongi leans his cheek against the ball of Tae's shoulder, nuzzling briefly. He peeks over as she writes and scrawls and she tilts the paper so that he can see better.

You’re spread across Jimin’s lap now, body half tipped into the water. occasionally hands grip under your arms, readjusting so that you don’t actually drown as you sort of fall asleep. You’re so tired, a bone deep exhaustion that cannot be roused.

And it's so warm, the places where they touch you blend and move, sudsy and slippery.

Your face gets gently washed, gentle fingers in smooth circles and when Yoongi tilt’s your chin, you notice that his fingers have already gone pruny from how they’ve sudsed you up between your legs to your knees, every inch of you clean. even the hem of his pushed up sleeves are damp.

Finally.

when she’s done with her little poem, Tae recites it for you three. The steam turns the air hazy. it sort of feels like a love letter that turns into a poem. You’re distantly aware of it as always, that this poem is about you.

But then again, most of the time when Tae writes, it’s about you. (Jimin too, but mostly- you).

You think when she finally lets you read her book, that you’re going to see little bits of your love story in-between the pages, you’ll notice flashes of you. Sweet reminders that you are loved and as treasured just as dearly as one of Tae's characters, that you live in her head just as they do.

8 months ago, she would have never shared a poem with any of them so soon after it popped into her head. She’d at least have edited it a little. Tae's words used to be kept under lock and key.  

But you have made Tae into someone brave enough now. She is not so scared of showing the delicate parts of her. You curl your hand around her thigh in response. Cheek resting on her knee as you listen to her voice. 

“I long to be careless with my heart, to not know what it feels like when it burns. To give it thoughtlessly again, so that I might prolong those firsts with you."

There is a lump in her throat, you can hear it as she says the words, it makes them come out hushed, like she is close to crying. The ending of these firsts has never bothered you. First kiss, first date, first heat. all crossed off a list. Maybe when you're more lucid, you'll tell her you can play pretend and go on as many first dates as you need too to get it right. Until she stops feeling it- the burn.

"As the firsts become fewer and fewer, I find myself pausing, making it last, savoring it.” You rub your cheek into Tae's knee, and Yoongi’s hand runs through your hair, then tae's.

“A bite, a blush, a secret shared.” Jimin’s hand lingers around the curve of your shoulder, holding you out of the water.

“The love on the blankets, your kiss ruddy on my hands. The feeling of your knees between my knees, your heart and other banquets upon which we feast.”

Tae's hand thumbs over your lip, and when you look up at her you find her watching you. Reading off the words without looking at the paper, like she’s already committed the words to memory.

“A first meal or last like any other. Regardless, I eat.”

It’s genuinely baffling how gendies just make up random scenarios that have never fucking happened once. Like I could bring up statistics and personal experiences that prove trans women retain a male pattern of sexual violence (and violence in general) and they’ll stamp their feet and be like “BUT NOT ALL TRANS WOMEN” . When they can’t even name a single event of a radfem brutalizing trans identified males. Radfems do not wish violence upon trans individuals. We just do not believe in “gender”.

I also think their comment on intersex reveals some insight into the way these people view bodies. Because if you research, intersex women literally cannot have a penis. They can grow something similar to testes, but that’s it. An intersex woman could have an enlarged clitoris that APPEARS like a penis, but would have an entirely different function.

This is the same argument they have for intersex men, who sometimes can have “holes” but they don’t lead anywhere. They don’t have a uterus. This line of thinking “well, it LOOKS like this, therefore, it IS this” is so prevalent in their community. An intersex male has a micropenis and didn’t have normal male puberty? Well, he’s basically a woman!

And they don’t see how misogynistic this is. The equivalent would be noticing a woman who went through anorexia and therefore ‘skipped’ puberty and has a flat chest is now a man.

Lastly even if there was a magical intersex person that had both functioning male and female genitals (never been found, this literally cannot exist in the human body due to conflicting hormone amounts needed for both sets of genitals to function), a male could still not identify as a woman. Because a woman is not an identity. Just like how I can’t “identify” as intersex.

Women with a beard and deep voices and clitorises that appear like penises… are still women! Women who have gone bald are still women. Women who are extremely thin or obese are still women… etc etc

Actually, I make 4 pages at a span of about...you can say one working day. I stretch it to something like 4-5 hours of 3 days and that's it.

Previously, it took me much longer, but I have had a lot of changes in my life recently that made it possible, like, my baby growing older and requiring less, me leaving fandoming and socializing and focusing solely on art making and progress, and self acceptance and peace of mind after a lot of turbulent changes that I went through in this period of 4 years.

I'm simply in a much much better place now, both in my personal life and in my artistic progress, and it all makes an impact. For instance, in arc 2 I was drawing everything with the help of Body Kun references. But in arc 3 I don't do it, I just draw from my mind and I think the outcome is even better than in arc 2.

As for A-Yuan, don't worry, he will make an appearance, but I cannot tell when! hehe....Just wait patiently :)))

how would you describe the relationship between sol and viago (at length?) a lot of people in the fandom often characterize viago as very paternal and I wanted yr thoughts

oh mannn

if u have to characterise it in terms of family, i would describe them more as siblings with a large age gap. i usually put them at like an 8-10 year age gap and they met when viago was still a teenager. sol would laugh in ur face if u called viago their dad. they definitely have some sibling behaviours and i do talk abt them in those terms. they are close enough in age to have the trauma bond of growing up in the same bad place rather than sol growing up there while viago was a grown-up agent of that place, if that makes sense, which is quite a key difference to some dynamics i see

but it’s more complicated than just being found family or whatever. sol views the relationship in quite transactional terms because they were a very traumatised kid who would not have been able to rely on anything less solid under their feet. from the start they presented themself as someone little but resourceful who could help him and also be an investment for later. sol worked really really hard all their childhood to be strong enough to “pay him back” for the little he was able to protect them as a kid, and to prove to him that they could be of further use, because they were convinced that one day he would be talon and if they were his then they would finally be safe. ironically it’s viago—who is less openly affectionate—who has always been more aware that he is in this because he cares about them. because, you know, sol was not actually that much help when they first met, because they were busy being, like, seven. it was only later when they kept trying so hard and beating impossible odds that he established sol in his head as always thinking of something and always winning in the end. back then they were just the only little source of warmth in the world

sol can joke around with and get physically close to viago in a way almost nobody else ever is allowed, just bc they always took those liberties and he never stopped them. he thinks they’re rash and impulsive because he has always let them get away with too much, but he also trusts them with his life when danger comes: they often take a bodyguard role, and also if, say, something went wrong with his poisons and he needed help, sol would be the one he would trust to be around him and take care of him when he was vulnerable. (they used to be the only one. other people like teia now being able to fill this role was another factor in sol becoming unnecessary in the few years before veilguard and it destabilising the relationship.) that’s also kind of why they have no fear of him in the way any other crow would fear their talon. he would not get rid of someone whose loyalty is a proven absolute. even when they don’t believe in him caring, they always confidently count on him just being smarter than that

while the love is there, as i like to say, viago’s still a talon of the crows and sol’s his subordinate. a lot of the affection is not being expressed and sol does not expect it, and sol is all smiles with everyone so even their side doesn’t necessarily come through either. viago has ordered them to do some fucked up things, both crow work—sol helped maintain house loyalty and discipline with everything that entails—and undergoing the extremely dangerous rituals that gave them some of their quasi-magical abilities.

at the start of the game, sol is prepared to get themself killed on this mad quest rather than face either going back to the crows, or leaving and losing viago, unsure whether they dreaded more him hunting them down or simply letting them go. (he’s all they have, and they also have like... a sunk fallacy situation where having sacrificed everything else to their loyalty to viago, they physically cannot give him up now. the solas mythal parallels go crazy. minrathous burns because it was not the city viago was in.) by the end of the game, sol has come to the conclusion that he loves them. but they are also now able to ask questions like: if he really loves them, why’d he never try to get them out? if he really loves them, if he regrets anything they’ve gone through, how can he still be a talon of the crows? how can there still be fledgelings in those grim training houses where they grew up, if he loves them?

it’s complicateddd and it always will be. are they the closest thing each other has to family? yes. was the best year in sol’s life the one where they were away from him with varric? yes. is being a crow fundamentally soul-destroying to them and are the best endings for them also probably the ones where they never see him again as long as they live? Well Yes But It Makes Me Sad.

That's a very good question, anon!

The TL;DR is that yes, there are differences between the experiences of trans women and cisgay men. However, there's much, much more overlap than some trans women are willing to admit for the sake of the idea that transfeminine oppression is based on being accurately percieved as women by transphobes.

Gay men went through much of the same experiences and still do, albiet to a lesser degree now that gay rights have come so far and cishet society has finally started to recognize that gay men and trans women are not the same thing. It hasn't always been that way, though, and homophobia and transmisogyny have a close relationship.

Even things like futanari are, yes, transphobic, and transmisogynistic, but also rooted in the fact that people who consume that kinna content think everyone with a penis is a man and therefore they need to come up with an imaginary concept that gets around that - it is equally the fear of being homosexual as much if not even more than it is a desire to erase trans women, who before the 2010s were largely considered essentially synonymous with gay men by cis people, who were not really actively thinking about trans women as a concept when they displaced their desires to suck cock onto subjects they considered appropriate.

This kinna not-even-remembering-you-exist form of transphobia is very well-known to transmascs but I feel like hyper-visibility of trans women in the modern era has made some completely lose the plot and come to the conclusion that all oppression revolves entirely around an active hatred of some Platonic form of trans woman that objectively exists on some plane of existence.

It's certainly what it seems like when they insist that TERFs hate us only because they just naturally absorbed all the hate for trans women in the media back in like, the 80s, I guess. Bossom Buddies was basically The Elder Protocols of Zion for trans women, if you think about it.

Orrrrr...maybe TERFs have genuine beliefs, regardless of how immoral and illogical? I've seen people who call themselves transfeminists say "TERFs didn't start hating trans women by hating men" and like, yes, they did, you fucking idiot! That doesn't mean trans women are men, it just means TERFs are incorrectly percieving us! Why is it so difficult to say TERFs are wrong? Why do you need TERFs to be secretly coming to the right conclusions and just lying about it?

And don't tell me "well this one time a TERF praised her husband." TERFs are also hypocrites and especially the straight ones, I cannot believe people are so unwilling to get that either. Well, I promise you, if you can stop crowing about transmisogynistic transmasc lesbians and admit to yourself it's mostly the cis lesbians that don't like us, you'll find that the gay TERFs tend to have purer ideology in that regard.

I'm kinna getting off on a tangent here, because the ask was about gay men, and I'm also not saying "androphobia," as applied to men who are every kinna privileged that a man can be, exists as an axis of oppression. But the way trans women are oppressed is actually pretty consistant with the belief that those oppressers wrongly see trans women as men, whether that be as nebulously queer faggots or, in the case of TERFs, who are a very unique case due to being an oppressed group displacing their fears onto an even more oppressed group, cis men.

So, transmisogyny as a distinct thing from other forms of oppression exists, and has always existed, but that was never dependent on actually understanding the people that were being stepped on. "Queer" is my favorite term for using as an umbrella label precisely because it was appried so broadly. People did not, in the past, take out a card to refresh themselves on which queers they hated in which order. A queer was a queer and a queer AMAB was a faggot, or what annoying people call "the transfeminized subject."

Now it's different. Now, finally, since gay marriage was legalized and queer culture has become mainstream and everyone knows our own words we use for ourselves and how we compare to one another, cis gay people have some grace granted to them by people who choose to hate trans people more. But that wasn't the case before, and considering trans women and gay men the same concept before meant they previously recieved the exact same treatment.

Gay rights and acceptance of cis gay people are further ahead than it is for trans people, and while there were still differences in some of the details in the past, it's in the present that you can especially see a gap in treatment between cisgay men and trans people AMAB. Even today, however, it's ridiculous to act like the privilage cisgays have is somehow universal, when acceptance of gay people is still highly conditional, limited, and depending on the time and place. Homophobia can still, to this day, manifest in ways that some trans women claim only happens to trans women, such as predatorjacketing.

And oh, man, speaking of different times and places, someone please ask the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia his opinion. Would you feel 'treated like a woman' if they executed you for identifying as one rather than for being a cis man who has sex with other men? Because they kill people for both.

Iran is, weirdly enough, a T without the LGB country,* and I'd love to see someone try to explain that with the "trans women are taxonomically women because they're treated worse than all men" framework.

I'm sure that despite my disclaimer at the top, you'll take all this to mean that I'm saying cisgay men and trans women aren't treated differently. Again, though: I'm saying there's a lot of overlap, especially up until the mid-2010s, which is still fairly recent. This useful for examining the origin of transmisogynistic belief systems. If you just accept that you're a girl because you know you are and are at peace with it being an internal thing, the existence of the iconically predatorjacketing Boys Beware (1961) is not a crushing blow to your sense of womanhood.

It's so cool to see their similarities and differences! Asmodeus chose Iruma's name as safeword, while Clara, having Iruma in front of her, went even further into her wickedness. Also, the use of names!!! Iruma's name is what made Asmodeus come to, while Clara's own name (uttered by Azz) is what is possibly working - see the shape of her pupils, which is no longer a clear heart.

And don't make me start on the first half of the chapter, I was legit crying when the "I'm worried" part started... So relatable ughhhh
