sometimes i look at characters and i'm like 'yeah, i ship them'
while sometimes i look at characters and i'm like 'oh they're a couple i guess. canon acknowledged' and it takes me a while to figure out they're not canon. and then I'm baffled they're not canon.

Wind Breaker Special Stage Event - Tonpuu-machi Halloween Matsuri Afternoon Show Special Reading Drama (part 3 final)
Tumblr media
Part 1 here! Part 2 here!
You can check out the rest of my translations here!
Choji: Ume-chan! (a lot of echoing) Ume-chan!!!
💙Umemiya 💙: Huh? This voice…
Choji: Ume-chan! Trick or treat! If you don’t give me candy I’m gonna prank you!
Togame: What’s going on here? Everyone’s getting all excited with ad-libbing huh? (t/n: CAUGHT RED-HANDED!!! YOU CAN SEE THE BOUFUURIN GUYS START LAUGHING WHEN HE SAID THIS)
Kaji: Shishitoren’s Tomiyama and Togame…! (t/n: bet he still hasn’t gotten over being beaten up by them in ep 4)
Sakura: Why are you guys here?
💙Umemiya 💙: The two of you came! Thanks!
Choji: Of course, it’s an invitation from a friend!
Togame: Thanks for the invite~
Hiiragi: Oi, you invited these guys too?
💙Umemiya 💙: A party is more fun when there are more people, right!
Choji: Hey hey, look at this! I’m a bakeneko! (t/n: kinda like a werecat? But I’m not sure if he’s referring to the Japanese bakeneko or just a cat that can turn into a human) Nyan nyan! (t/n: THIS IS SO CUTE HE EVEN DOES IT WITH THE HAND ACTION)
(cue cheering from the audience)
Umemiya(?): He did it.
Nirei: Amazing! The nyan nyan that Sakura-san couldn’t do, he did it so easily?!
Sakura: *angry blushing* It’s not that I couldn’t do it, I didn’t want to!!!
💙Umemiya 💙: Tomiyama! You did it so well!!!
Choji: Nyaaaan~ <3 (t/n: THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL)
Nirei: (writing it down in his notebook) Tomiyama is good at the nyan nyan pose…
Hiiragi: You don’t have to write that down.
Choji: Eh? Is that Sakura-chan? With those ears, are you a cat too?
Sakura: Wrong!!! I’m a wolf, don’t group me together with you!
Choji: I see, that’s a pity! I thought we could do the nyan nyan together!
Suo: Sorry about that, it seems that for Sakura-kun, the nyan nyan pose is still too difficult for him at this stage…
Sakura: Huh?!
Hiiragi: Togame too, you’ve dressed up well, haven’t you?
Togame: Choji said if there’s a black cat, there should be a witch, you know? But I’m digging this too. Especially these glasses.
Hiiragi: Yeah, it looks like a student from a particular school of magic.
Togame: Since I’m all dressed up, could I say a spell as well? Uhh, Expecto Patro- (t/n: the scriptwriter who wrote this in. Deserves a raise AND a bonus. The seiyuus confirmed that they were following the script here 👀)
Nirei: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! That’s dangerous!
Togame: Huh?
Nirei: DON’T SAY ANYMORE THAN THAT.
Togame: Why?
Nirei: Don’t ask why! It says so in the script! (t/n: He actually said “book”, not script, but he was gesturing to the script when saying this, so I assume that’s what he meant)
Togame: Eh? Expecto-
Nirei: NOOOOOOOOOO. (t/n: Poor Shoya he’s been screaming the whole day lmao) It says so in the script!!!
Togame: Eh?
Hiiragi: Sorry about that, I don’t think that’s a good idea. (t/n: this might be wrong, feel free to correct me!)
Choji: Hey hey, Ume-chan! There’s a really nice smell nearby!
💙Umemiya 💙: Yeah! The good folks of the shopping street prepared a mountain of delicious food! You guys should eat up as well! (t/n: meanwhile I am suffering here from my recent wisdom tooth extraction and on a soft diet ;-;)
Choji: Kame-chan, did you hear that? Quick, let’s go!
Togame: Yes yes~
💙Umemiya 💙: I’m feeling hungry, let’s go too!
Hiiragi: Hang on, Umemiya! (but he has already left) *sighs* Let’s go too.
Nirei: Yes!
*scene change*
💙Umemiya 💙: Yosh, I’ve eaten so much! You guys, split up and help clean up ok!
Kaji, Nirei, Suo: Yes!
Suo: I’ll clean up the trash here, Nirei-kun could you handle that side?
Nirei: Understood!
Choji: Ume-chan! We can help out too!
💙Umemiya 💙: Really? If you could help out over there that’ll be great!
Togame: Gotcha~
Hiiragi: Sugishita and Kaji, could you help out with clearing the tables?
Sugishita: Yes.
Kaji: Understood. (t/n: I bet Hiiragi paired them so they can simp together about their oshis cos they won’t fight)
Sakura: This is burnable trash… That’s plastic… *very very big yawn*
💙Umemiya 💙: That’s a big yawn.
Sakura: Huh?! (in surprise and shock that he got caught) S-shut up!
💙Umemiya 💙: Heh, thanks for today. Thanks to you guys, everyone in the shopping street were so happy!
Sakura: It’s not like I did anything…
💙Umemiya 💙: Don’t say that! You did a cute pose too ^_^
Sakura: Forget that! That Suo, I’ll remember this…!
💙Umemiya 💙: Hehehe! But Sakura, you had fun right?
Sakura: Well… The food was great.
💙Umemiya 💙: Right?! Spending time with everyone like this and having fun with them is great right?
Sakura: Well, it wasn’t bad...
And that's all! I hope everyone enjoyed this~ It's still a little early, but-
Happy halloween 🎃

II S2 Ep 17 Spoilers
I'll be talking about what I got right from my previous theory post and some newer ones too.
Theory 1: The contestants aren't gone forever
This didn't happen. However I do think it will. I am one of the people who think there will be an act 3. Mostly because there are a lot of loose ends and plot points that they brought up (even just in this episode).
I am now more sure then ever that this is how their going to bring the contestants back. Or at least it will be an important part.
Tumblr media
The fact that they continue to focus on soaps phone kinda proves that to me. Why bring so much attention to something meaningless.
Theory 2 (well not really a theory, more of a question): What about bow and dough?
Bow and dough are indeed created by Mephone. Which also means that Mephone can create soul-like-substitutes. Which is wild.
Theory 3: Mephone didn't know he created the contestants.
I was right with this one! Yippee! Kinda. While he didn't remember creating them, he did assign them personalities and quirks. What Cobs really did here was make Mephone put 2 and 2 together.
What I believe happened was after Mephone escaped he was like "Time to start a reality show! Wait... I need people for that" and his subconscious was like "haha, wait a minute, we already did that" and spawned in the contestants. Seeing as he had an interview with suitcase, a season 2 contestant, we can assume that the rest of season 2 and 3 contestants were all subconsciously spawned in, then held an interview with Mephone.
Tumblr media
The picture below is just to highlight that even the season 3 contestants where characterized by Mephone.
Tumblr media
Also I haven't seen enough people talk about how genuinely awful and disgusting what Cobs did here. It actually makes me kinda ill.
Theory 3: Mephone is part Prime Shimmer
I was also right with this one! I am on a roll! Mephone being a Shimmer just makes sense narrative wise.
Now, onto the theories/observations I have after this episode.
I don't think Mephone knew he could freeze everyone. Besides the fact that he didn't know he created them an therefore wouldn't think that was something that he was capable of, just look at him.
Tumblr media
He has no idea what's happening around him. He's far more focused on the season 3 folder then his surroundings.
I also don't think Mephone created the island. He may have terraformed it but I don't believe he can straight up created an entire island.
And like I said earlier, I really don't think that this is the end.
Reason 1: the loose ends/plot points
It feels weird to me if they brought up important information just for it not to be used. Like Bow's tail story/coming back from the dead, Soap's phone, and the Prime Shimmers. Not to mention all the people who would still be there, like Mepad, Bow, Dough, Bot, Baxter, and the Prime Shimmers (and maybe toilet too? But that is a huge maybe in my books). Or even The Unvitational Committee. What do they feel about everything that's happened. What are they gonna do now everyone's gone.
Reason 2: common act structures.
While this is admittedly one of the weaker points, as they're allowed to do whatever they want, I think it's important to bring up. "Act" is a very specific word choice, and most stories follow a three act structure.
Reason 3: The themes.
II has a really prominent theme through the entire show, you don't have to be what others think of you. It can be seen within most character arcs. This episode is kinda the antithesis to that theme. Even the title "Through No Choice of Your Own" highlights that.
Reason 5: Brian said that there will be 2 special guest voice actors and we haven't gotten that yet.
Tumblr media
Reason 6: He also specifically said "multi-part." People don't tend to say multi-part for 2 episodes, optioning to say two-parter instead.
Tumblr media
Reason 7: Adam deleted his account shortly after he made(?) it. He also died from Mephone X. However this could just be nothing more then a fun way to leave and I'm looking to far into things. I thought it was important to bring up anyway.
Tumblr media
Reason 8: General vibes.
While II has had lots of sad moments before, they usually have some kind of happy/bittersweet/hopeful ending. This is just depressing, with little to no upside.
Look man. I'm gonna be honest. This is mostly me sipping copium. I genuinely can't fathom there being no act 3. Like, that's not even an option. This ending is so genuinely horrible (emotionally) it's unreal. I might make another post just about how awful this all is for Mephone specifically. Like, it's the worst possible outcome from him. Anyways, post is ending here. I had some more ideas but I forgot them.

Interview with the Vampire treatment but make it Re-Animator
I haven’t seen that bc I don’t pay for streaming services but I’m vaguely aware it’s a really gay reboot of an old novel to film adaption or something?
So, Re-Animator limited series modern reboot ideas:
ten 1 hour eps
Herbert is canonically trans
Heavily into the comedy and hijinks.
Dan and Meg are “dating” (they’re not. everyone assumes they are because they’re extremely good friends, including Herbert at first) Dean Halsey is homophobic which is his just his updated Puritanism; Meg has slept with almost every female intern in the hospital
Meg has her own motivations and interests outside Dan and her father. She wants to oust the corrupt board and secure more funding for the hospital to hirer more staff at better pay so that so many of their patients stop fucking dying bc they get all the overflow from the bigger hospitals nearby; she’s an academic but she’s a power player first and foremost she knows how to schmooze and scheme.
Herbert is initially very hostile to Meg but calms down after he realizes they’re not together, and they even kinda become friends. she even helps distract a nurse who’s about the discover the two of them stealing a corpse by flirting with her while they make their escape
it’s modern day but Dr Hill is a #LobotomiesWork truther or whatever and even suggests in a lecture that asylums were a better solution than letting “the clinically insane, the sexually perverse, the gender disturbed wander the streets” pencil snap
more like Herbert’s slashing one of his tires after class
it’s very clear the recent shortfall in funding has been a result of donors not liking some of Dr Hill’s more controversial and less scientifically backed comments at presentations or interviews but he’s Dean Halsey’s friend so he won’t get rid of him despite Meg urging him that the hospital is more important than some crank loser
Dan is less shocked and disturbed by the horrors he’s an accomplice to and more enraptured and awe-struck by it. he finds the twisting entrails in a stomach a hypnotic maze. he likes to smell the organs. Herbert’s like “finally. a freak like me” it’s clear he was already fucked up before West showed up, something he fretted to Meg over but Herbert adores it and praises it
Dan and Herbert in the basement lab forced to take a chemical shower together upstairs when they get covered in idk embalming fluid or something when a corpse’s bloated stomach pops
Herbert, a foot shorter, drenched in water, trying to be intimidating to Dan who’s looking at him slack-jawed, only to back off when he realizes Dan has half a chub and teases him for it. he needs to have the power in the situation tho so Herbert leaves Dan to finish the emergency shower by himself
Dan has much more of his own ideas with the re-animating, their partnership is more equal and Herbert is delighted and exhilarated every time Dan says something he never thought of.
he kisses him about it.
also they probably have sex in the morgue when they get locked in there overnight bc one of them (they both blame the other) forgot to wedge something in the door
Dean Halsey and Dr Hill primarily have an issue with Herbert bc Dr Gruber was very openly gay and it’s been an old rumor that he had sex with his assistants who were always male. He and Herbert did fuck a few times but that’s beside the point. Dr Hill still plagiarized that old fag’s research
And besides having consensual flings with your grad students is far better than y’know sexually assaulting your best friend’s daughter whom according to the 1991 comic, he’s been obsessed with since she was 12.
they still have to save Meg from Dr Hill but they all survive and the scene isn’t played for laughs nor is gratuitous, and Meg gets a gun and gets to kill Hill herself

the librarians "and the loom of fate" (season 1 finale) watch through:
so last ep we heard the world was gonna end, that’s never ideal.
oh. uh. baird that’s not good. assuming that’s your blood
ahhhh it all comes together. the macguffins from each episode are all needed to make one bigger, stronger macguffin. the macguffin to end all macguffins.
flynn calling the library "his home" <3
noooo lamia :( why not just kill one of the librarians or baird? i mean im not advocating for their deaths lol but thats a little mean! i guess its the same difference, none of it matters to him if he wants camelot back.
hahahah i love flynn taking a while to commit to telling people to let baird go lol.
[baird gets kissed by jacob] "NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no." LMAOOOOO
okay i’m guessing the loom tried to repair itself but repaired differently to the original timeline? or the original timeline is all chopped up so they’ve been sent to a different timeline?
damn i just feel really bad for alternatetimeline!jacob :(
[with alternate!ezekiel] "you were like a mother to me" "wait what?? no! that’s mathematically im…probable" pshhh
why does baird die in all these timelines? that seems like a bad sign
we actually get to see a dragon! finale higher budget lol
no baird, jenkins can’t be jenkins in this timeline if he’s back in camelot! so the annex has no one…
hehe already got the lancelot & galahad thing through the last couple eps. but certainly not just from "dulaque" -> "du lac" -> of the lake - flynn gets that immediately, which is a lot more impressive.
HMM jenkins the santa thing… "coincidence" sure sure sure.
"going to fight an evil cult is your idea of a date" yes and that’s adorable <3 i have a soft spot for tv couples where their idea of a date is wildly different to 99% of the world (parker & hardison’s heist-as-date. booth & brennan’s flirting over human remains, etc)
yay!!! good season and very impressive end to season!!

Anon back again, I put on my thinking cap and got the other sources together so I might be coping here but here is what I have deduced based on the leaks and other interviews in regards to Alicent and B&C:
1. Apparently the rumour that Alicent is not present for B&C and instead is having sex with Criston stems from this one leaker who saw episode one who said Helaena was alone.
2. This same leaker said there was one couple who had sex twice in the first episode alone. If we assume this to be Alicole and if we assume this leaker is telling the truth (why would they share so much under an NDA idk? Especially because others present haven't said anything except to praise the actors), then this does not immediately imply that Alicent is not present for B&C.
3. Them saying Helaena is alone does not have to imply Alicent is not there, because personally I don't believe B&C will happen in episode 1. Remember in an interview GRRM said that he and some people saw ep 1 AND ep 2 and that they were horrified by how gruesome it was. Yet this same leaker said the gore in ep 1 was a 3/10. So them saying Helaena is alone could just mean she arrives alone at the rooms and then the episode ends.
4. I remember two shots from the trailer with knives: firstly we see a shot with Helaena with a knife against her throat, obviously B&C. But then we also have a shot of a knife aimed at someone's stomach, and we see a hand reach for the knife - on this hand we see a ring that Alicent wears plus the dress is the same as in Alicent's poster. Now it could be that the knives are just similar but who knows.
Idk I might just be coping here but it would piss me off if they just removed Alicent from B&C; because that also begs the question how do they identify the killers (if they do)? The children won't know, Helaena will probably be out of it, the only other witness in the books is Alicent. I would not understand the need to write a sex scene to replace a horribly traumatic experience of seeing her grandchild murdered. I saw some people comparing it to Dae/myra sex scene in s1e7 and Aemond losing an eye, but idk. Maybe we'll get more info after the next premiere tomorrow.
Anon, I don't even know what to say anymore. I just watched the clip from Fabien and Matt's interview where Fabien basically says that Criston feels tremendous guilt over B&C because he is with Alicent at the time. He mentions that Aegon blames Criston as he is meant to protect his family (he also insinuates that Aegon does not know of Alicent and Criston's trysts).
If indeed Alicent is absent from B&C, that means that the incident does not even happen in her chambers. Alicent will not get to see it, the gruesomeness of the act will be downplayed, and in general, B&C will be parodied if the Alicole scene is added to reminisce the Daemyra scene at Driftmark.
If the events unfold as the leaks predict, what the producers do with B&C will be absolutely inexcusable in my eyes. The savagery and cruelty of B&C and its impact on all FIVE characters involved should not be toyed with. If this is where the series is going in S2, I don't even know how I will watch it because I am already disgusted by the possibility of pairing the atrocious act of murdering and decapitating a six-year-old with what the show tries to pass as "divine vengeance" for lusting over sex.
Maybe that explains why GRRM was so horrified at what the creators did with B&C because THIS IS HORRIBLE.

Some thoughts on EPS 1-3 of Monster Next Door
I was thinking recently how I wish there were more movies or shows where an introverted/withdrawn/shy/whatever* character meets an extroverted/outgoing/confident/whatever** character and their disposition isn't seen as inherently flawed and that the extroverted character learns from them for a change. And then Monster Next Door comes along!
*&** I know these aren’t the same things, but they often get lumped together
I mean, I'm assuming they'll learn a little from each other, but I love that God (or Got?) adjusts his behaviour first and that it doesn't feel performative. He's not doing this solely to impress Diew and then embracing it sincerely later—he's enjoying himself from the outset (with the reading) and learning things about himself too (everything he says about wearing the mask because what Diew said made him realise he doesn't have to be who people assume he is when they see him). Diew might feel pressure from his mother, and has clearly had bad experiences in the past (as we see with his ex's friends making fun of him), but he has someone who's truly trying to understand him in God/Got, which is really lovely
Tumblr media
And! I also like that Beer was like no I don't think it's weird that Diew's quiet, and that, while he extends the invitation to Diew to eat sushi with them, it's clearly a no pressure kind of invitation.
It's just so refreshing! (@byemambo has a much better and more detailed analysis here)
On the flipside, I like that, while Diew was annoyed by the noise etc. initially, there doesn't seem to be a lot of judgement on his side either? At least, not once God starts talking to him. Like, I find the introvert/extrovert (or similar) thing is often played as a rivals type of thing, but here it feels more like a neutral display of personality differences. Diew fears being judged because of past experiences, but he doesn't seem to have an inherentdistaste for more outgoing people. And he's doing things that are outside his comfort zone or wheelhouse, too! Like when he looks up hangover cures when he overhears God throwing up from being drunk! Or going to the concert, which I'm guessing is not his usual scene.
Tumblr media
There's already a give and take and mutual understanding and, while I do like other dynamics, it's nice to see a love story start this way sometimes too
(Remind me to maybe talk a little about costuming/set design and the use of masks at some point)

How did I miss this??? (Part 2)
Now previously I said that I think these two have been together (and I mean TOGETHER together) for a very long time.
Tumblr media
I have had some more thoughts/theories...they just keep coming and to be honest I'm not even sure where to start but I'll give it a go.
I do not expect anyone to read this but in all honesty, I just need to get it out. This has been going round in my head for a few days whilst I attempt to form it into a path of logical reasoning. I think I am there and there are holes but hopefully you lot can help me fill them in. So, get comfy, we might be here a while…
Assuming the meeting in Rome was a date...they have been doing this for a long time. Now at first they were extremely careful but over the centuries they became a little more brazen with being seen in public together, knowing what they could get away with. Again, nothing too obvious.
Now, many have been talking about the bookshop as a metaphor for Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship, but I think it's more than that. I shall explain:
Before I get into it, a few pieces of information that are relatively common knowledge and/or I have come across in my daily browsing (I can’t find where I saw all of them, so anyone please help):
Neil Gaiman has said that the scenes we see between Aziraphale and Crowley aren’t all the times they’ve met. This is just the meetings we see – which is understandable considering they’ve been on the planet for 6000 years.
Zira and Crowley evidently have some form of connection or awareness to their respective head offices. Even going so far as to know when they are being watched (S1, EP 6) just before they swap back.
We can all agree that there is almost nothing that is not there for a reason; details, easter eggs, acting choices, props, set etc.
We also know that the story is pretty much plotted out so it stands to reason that there will be a few story threads that go through all episodes, however subtly.
OK. So.
Aziraphale bought the bookshop in the 1700s, up until then where did they hang out? I'm thinking they were using the various 'rendezvous points' anyway regardless, we know Crowley has a flat but we also know that hell has a sort of direct line to it.
Anywhere is very open and somewhere they can be watched. Celestials have materialized inside the car, on the street, in the flat, even on the TV. The only place they never seem to materialize? The bookshop. Even Metatron came in through the front door (when he isn't a floating head summoned through a portal). note it has no TV and no radio if I remember. The only time any demons have materialised is at the end when Gabriel got his memories back. I believe that's because the demons were "invited" in earlier on.
Here's my point. The bookshop is their safe place, it's THEIR space. Remember we don't see everything, we haven't seen everything. Every time we see them, they are in a public place, with someone watching or in the bookshop...with the curtains open. And remember, they KNOW when they're being watched.
Allow me to draw your attention to Season 2, Episode 1. Crowley is already on the way to the bookshop when Zira calls him, and when they meet in the coffee shop he is rather confused as to why they aren't in the bookshop. (Then of course we have the whole naked man friend fiasco and Crowley's reaction to that...)
When they do go to the bookshop I noticed Crowley DOES NOT EVEN QUESTION WHY ZIRA IS CLOSING THE BLINDS. He has no idea Gabriel is there, (he just knows something about a naked man, which is another conversation). Now this suggests to me that this is something that is done often.
They go into the bookshop and have their 'us time'.
This also helps this make sense:
Tumblr media
All lovers meetings would be in the bookshop. That was their space. Alone. Where no one was watching.
Now you may be thinking “We’ve seen them alone in the bookshop before when no one was watching and they weren’t behaving like a couple.” But someone was watching. WE were watching. And as we’ve established g-d only shows us what she wants us to see. She is telling the story.
I also think they have gotten so good at pretending in public that they have developed a code of sorts. For example, I think 'Breakfast/dinner at the Ritz' means something totally different.
They care for each other so deeply that they cannot stand putting each other in harms way.
They are celestial beings so their idea of love and relationships is something that is totally different and beyond the understanding of humans.
They saw Beelzebub and Gabriel be together openly in front of everyone and Zira grabbed Crowley’s arm. To me that is a very ‘familiar’ gesture. It’s saying ‘Look, they’re doing it. We can do that too.’ He then proceeds to look at Crowley with such loving adoration as if he cannot see any reason that they can’t be together openly and honestly.
Aziraphale then goes to coffee with Metatron whilst Crowley waits in the bookshop and tidies up. There is something strange about this. Throughout the time he is taking care of the bookshop whilst Zira is in Scotland, we see him chucking books all over the place. Even at the end we see him chuck a tray of food on the chair. So why is he tidying up now? – he tidies up because they are going to USE it.
He says, they are going to an ‘Extremely alcoholic breakfast at the Ritz.’ So if they are not going to be at the bookshop, why would it matter if Muriel is there or if it’s tidy? They do need US time. It’s a euphemism, it’s code. “Breakfast at the Ritz”, “I’ll give you a lift”, “Waiting inside”.
This is why it shocks Crowley so much when Nina thinks they’re a couple. They think they have been hiding it so well for a VERY long time and he can’t believe that someone has thought that for real. Yes we have all done it and been on the receiving end when someone thinks you’re a couple and you aren’t, it happens. But Nina just flat out refuses to believe that they’re not.
That is when Crowley goes to the winebar. Zira asks him why he isn’t ‘waiting inside’ “You like waiting inside.” As in “We never have a date in public, they can see us.” Then Crowley explains it’s because Jim is in the bookshop but in reality it’s probably partly because he’s realised that they haven’t hidden it as well as they thought they did, so they may as well sit there.
That reaction when Shax says to Zira, that hes not Crowley’s type? Seriously, that is a very much a “That’s what you think.” look.
Tumblr media
We are a group of the two of us and we’ve spent our existence pretending that we aren’t. – They really were pretending. He wasn’t talking about being in denial about their feelings for one another, he was literally saying they were PRETENDING not to be together. Now he wants everyone to know. He doesn't want to pretend anymore.
He thought Zira felt the same way until he told him about the whole 'going back to heaven' situation. Not sure how it would have gone if Crowley spoke first.
Aziraphale did not seem shocked by Crowley's confession. He already knows. What he doesn't understand is why he doesn't want to go to heaven.
Tumblr media
Zira still believes in the fundamental goodness of heaven because he has nothing to compare it to. Crowley has been on both sides and knows they are both as bad as each other “Life on earth would be just as dead, if heaven ended it.” That’s is why Crowley wants so stay on earth or go away with Zira.
Zira wants to go with Crowley to heaven because as others have pointed out, that’s where he believes they will have the best life and be able to be together. Crowley knows different, he was cast out into a pool of boiling sulphur just for asking questions. So he walks away and says ‘good luck’. Zira has not had the same experience of heaven Crowley has, Crowley has experienced the worst of the universe on both sides and can’t live like that anymore.
So "You can't leave this bookshop" yes, indeed, as we have established means "Don't leave US."
We could have been ‘US’. But Aziraphale won’t see it. So Crowley does the only thing he can think of and kiss the love of his entire existence. Whilst they are being watched. That is why Aziraphale says ‘I forgive you’. It isn’t just an ‘I love you’ it’s an ‘I forgive you for telling them our secret.’ I forgive you for trying to change my mind.
More in Part 3...

Yoonmin Run Ep Project: Week 1
Welcome to Week 1 of our fun little Run ep viewing project!
This week, we watched Run ep 53. This was the picnic episode, which was released in 2018 (part 1 of 2). Please go watch it if you have time!
I don’t want this to turn into an episode recap, so I’ll just mention some things that stood out to me. I’d love to hear what you thought of the episode. Feel free to comment or send an ask. You’re also (obviously) more than welcome to write about it on your own blog. Let me know so I can make sure to stop by; I’d love to read it.
First of all, how cute that yoonmin sat together on the drive. They looked so cozy in that front row all by themselves.
Tumblr media
Also…I just have to take a moment to appreciate how adorable Jk looked in those glasses!
Tumblr media
Ok, back to yoonmin! I loved this moment when Yoongi and Jimin shared a laugh.
Tumblr media
And then of course there was the egg-peeling incident. Jimin was so sweet to offer! Yoongi teased him, but we know that was also self-deprecating since he’d already said that he finds peeling eggs difficult.
Tumblr media
For someone who was not directly involved in peeling that egg, Yoongi sure was curious! Cute.
Tumblr media
The first stop was the grocery store:
Tumblr media
That’s when we saw the back-scratching moment. Yoongi had been wearing a black coat, but he flung it low around his arms and lower back briefly:
Tumblr media
Jin lost a game and had to complete the last part of the journey on foot. Jimin volunteered to go with him.
I didn’t catch Yoongi’s reaction until the second time I went back and watched the grocery store portion: start at 16:52 for context; at 17:00, Yoongi waves his hand dismissively and then says, “I won’t stop you,” I assume directed at Jimin.
This is a small detail and I don’t want to speculate too much. But…⚠️ Yoongi seemed a bit disappointed that Jimin was offering to do the punishment with Jin. The guys had been warned that it was an uphill walk. Maybe Yoongi was worried that it would make Jimin tired. Maybe he was already sore from dance practice or performing. ?? I found it interesting that Yoongi had an opinion on what Jimin does. And his comment—“I won’t stop you”—implies to me that Yoongi feels that he has the right to express an opinion on Jimin’s decisions. This seems, to me, to be inconsistent with typical friends and it’s certainly inconsistent with bandmates/co-workers. Would Yoongi have expressed his opinion if it was Joon or Jk who had volunteered? Perhaps not.
Tumblr media
(The text next to Yoongi says, “I won’t stop you if you say you’ll do it!”)
Anyway, Jin and Jimin completed the last leg of the journey on foot, while the others rode in the van. We were treated to this adorable pic:
Tumblr media
Could they possibly be any prettier?!?!
The members riding in the van arrived first. At one point Yoongi walked toward the window and asked, “When are they coming?” I thought he seemed a little distracted until Jimin and Jin arrived.
As Jimin approached, he made a sound like a crow, and Yoongi remarked that the bird sounded like “Park Jimin” (does anyone else love it when Yoongi calls Jimin by his full name?).
Yoongi couldn’t get over the fact that Jimin had been making bird noises and he brought it up again.
Tumblr media
The picnic continues in part 2 (ep 54), but that is a topic for another day!
While watching this episode, I was struck by how often Yoongi and Jimin were together. However, they were pretty subtle. The back scratching is a perfect example. They were in the background and not at the center of the conversation. As you can see from my screenshot, Jimin wasn’t even fully in the shot!
So…those are my thoughts for now. I’d love to hear yours.
Yoonmin Run Ep schedule
Just a note: this is a yoonmin blog, so I’m focusing on them. Of course they also interacted with the other members. Of course Joon looked gorgoeus. Of course Hobi was pure joy. Of course Tae and Jk danced at the grocery store because they were excited about ice cream. Of course it was adorable when Tae fed chicken to Jin during the drive. Please watch the full episode so you can enjoy those moments too! 💜

What makes you think Doll wasn't a fully realized character in the pilot when the concept art clearly shows she has the Solver?
That's technically not exactly proof or anything, but it relates to that one reblog I saw you do. Doll clearly was suppose to have the Solver even at that point and could possibly fight the DDs. Which was kinda the point of the whole thing. She still might not have been fully realized but when it comes to how you were using it, I think that point is invalid.
(also, I'm not the anon that asked the original question. Figured you could tell that from the different writing styles but wanted to make sure you knew that)
I assume that this is the post you're talking about, the one with my reblog:
About that concept art of Doll with the Solver, knives, and evil smile, I always assumed that it was drawn and released after the pilot aired, as I wasn't aware of the fact that it dated all the way back to the first few drafts of the story.
If it really is that old, please, show me the date of its public release, so that I can get a better idea of the thought process behind her character's realisation.
Anyway, if post-pilot and pilot Doll were always intended to be Solver users, then I have two possible explanations as to why episode 1 Doll didn't protect the colony from J and V, both of them based around one of these theories: Doll's parents died during the pilot, or Doll's parents died before the pilot.
- In the case of the former, it's likely that Doll wasn't as courageous or as skilled with the Solver when the Disassemblers came in; with this timeline of events, V killed Doll's parents in front of her, then, the russian escaped to that giant storage room where the battle takes place, and as N and Uzi drag away V, Doll's left to metabolise her trauma and slowly begins her villain arc, the Solver activates as a result of high mental distress, and she starts to practice her powers, which would then lead to the events of the show.
This explanation is, admittedly, the least plausible, as many people have already pointed out all the issues with the "Doll's parents died during the pilot" theory, leaving the second one to be the most likely.
- For the ladder, I believe that Doll was in a state of panic and shock when J and V barged in, we saw this happen on numerous occasions (when she starts to backpedal from Uzi after failing to use her Solver powers against her, how she starts to hyperventilate when her death scene plays out): Doll, to me, looks like someone who prefers to be in control of whichever situation they are in (she's so me fr :) and whenever she can't plan ahead her next couple of steps, she's left stunned and doesn't know what to do next until she recomposes herself; she was probably asking herself if it was worth it to reveal her powers now knowing how much attention that would bring to her.
With all of that said and done, I still don't believe that the Doll that we saw in the pilot was already fully realised as the final version of Doll that we see in the show; there are a small handful of things that don't line up together:
Pilot Doll and her correspondents fanarts (the aforementioned smiling evil one with the bloody knives and the one with Lizzie and Thad in it) portray Doll as a somewhat happy and outgoing individual, one who enjoys bullying Uzi, while in stark contrast, canon Doll barely smiles or emotes, and if this line from Lizzy in ep 3 is anything to go by "Dude, no one is going to notice she is missing, just do your thing and I'll let in V", Doll was apparently against killing off Uzi.
It is my personal theory that, since Khan was originally intended to be the main antagonist of the show, and was most likely going to be a complex, layered douche rather than a straight up villain, the series was going to be far more comedic and less story focused than it ended up being.
Therefore, I believe that Doll, in this old version of the story, was conceived as a far more evil opponent meant to serve as a threat, kind of like our current Cyn; there's a lot of proof that demonstrates that the Absolute Solver was always a planned event, and although I am unable to tell how much concept Solvy deviates from their final implementation, I'm fairly certain that Liam Vickers originally intended Doll to be another, more reoccurring Pure Evil villain, and as the various rewrites went along he started to give her more and more sympathetic traits, while still maintaining some of her original Pure Evil roots in the story.
This would explain a lot of the various problems that I, someone who spends an ungodly amount of time thinking about Doll, often find when analysing her.
Also, no, I don't think my point isn't invalid, as it was extremely vague; in that reblog I've literally stated "Pilot Doll wasn't a fully realised character yet, I'm sure Liam Vickers would have changed the scene if the development of her character was completed by that point".
"Changed" in this context can mean literally anything, like changing the facial expressions she's making in one frame, it doesn't necessarily mean a rewrite, and since you yourself have pointed out that she might not have been fully realised by the time of the pilot, I don't think that the concept art showing her using the Absolute Solver means much when I didn't even specify how the scene would have played out alternatively.

Idk what kinda introduction post that is, but I need to start this blog while my hyperfixation is still intact. No idea who'll bother to even read it, honestly, I fully expect it to be a talking-to-the-void kinda thing, I just love practicing my English, might as well combine it with my stoopid tho(ugh)ts everyone has already thought and seen cause I didn't exactly get into the series in time.
It's a side blog, and I'm not a native speaker so I'm self-conscious as everloving fuck and I sincerely apologize (yeah, it's a proper formal apology cause I feel guilty as fuck as well) if my posts are unreadable, I always do my damnedest for them to make sense, but it won't always be the case, I assure you. I have no talents except for trying to overcome the anxiety that grabs me by the throat on the daily basis (and I'm not even into that kind of asphyxiation thank you very much, duh) which sometimes results in my brain lacking the necessary amount of oxygen for it to function properly (but again I do my damnedest for my vitals to be intact), hence some inadequate posts. So about that, I'm trying to overcome the anxiety by posting everything that pops into my silly little head (it's a shitty way to do it, but it's something at least), the horrors persist, but so do I.
Kay, I'm depressed as fuck (not trying to present it as a badge of honor or anything, it's just a part of my personality, so I think I need to mention it), and it's a miracle watching OFMD (finally) somehow made sense in my head (cause nothing does lately). I'm as late for the party as fucking ever, but oh well maybe being slow will be my always.
I've just started to watch it actually, but my first thought was that it felt a tad rushed, but it's perfectly understandable. Still it made me feel the full daunting force of existential dread with a ray of hope on the side (which, again, makes me all suspicious to no end cause everytime I feel hopeful I think my brain is fucking with me with no safe word involved in the process).
I've watched 6 eps of season 1 so far, spoilers don't faze me one bit (I'd stumble upon them either way, no point in trying to avoid them, methinks), cause I made sure I'd watched some YouTube vids with bits of all the eps combined on a complete whim and cause those bits did exactly fuck all for me to piece together anything at all, so strictly speaking, they don't even feel like spoilers. I'd even say I started to actually watch the series cause I got so damn angry at myself for not understanding shit, so I was like yeah, makes perfect fucking sense and finally I know what the "m'noses" and "doggy heaven" lines were about (I seriously thought I'd spontaneously combust if I don't find out, the last time I've ever been so dead set on achieving anything was when I tried to understand whatever the hell Buttons says (so fairly recently), cause English is my second language (there might be subtitles and script, I assume, but no, we die like my will to live while figuring it out solely by listening to what he says (love me some torture, weird flex but okay, I guess).
That's helluva long post that barely makes any sense, so I'll shut up for now.

Not Me some more - Eps 6 & 7
@plantsarepeopletoo @anon451 @shouldiusemyname @thegalwhorants @wen-kexing-apologist @slayerkitty @fanfictionroxs @pandasmagorica
First post here
You're getting an update sooner than I thought because I skipped nearly allll my Sunday shows to take advantage of me and the watchbuddies all being on the weekend! (Oh My God Love in Translation finale brb - update will wait) (Finale was good am back, I feel so warm and cozy, what was I talking about again? Oh yeah how amazing Not Me is)
Episode 6 was a lot and episode 7 was AMAZING
There was NO Todd in either ep so I have no additional thoughts on him.
The plan in ep 6 was bonkers but it was crazy for White to switch it out right at the end!! Strangulation was a bit much though...
Tumblr media
[Image of Yok saying: Your plan sucked]
I did adore the crosswalk metaphor in 6 1/4 though, walking into traphic because you're in the right doesn't mean you won't be killed, and if you are killed will your death have made a difference? mmmmm I really want other people I know to watch this show...
Tumblr media
[Image of White saying: Your life is worth more than you think}
interestingly one of the only things I had already seen was that moment under the pride flag
Tumblr media
not with sound or words, just the hand grab and the jumping and, with no context, I had assumed it would be much later in the series, a moment where the characters accept their relationship to each other...but nope, Instead it was a moment of shared celebration before that shift in the relationship, I might love that even more!!
Episode 7 felt like it shifted tone a little though to what I'm not quite sure yet.
We did get apparent resolution/explanation for the Eugene/Gram stuff
Tumblr media
[Image of Eugene saying: Knowing nothins is the worst thing ever]
Seriously, she was dumped and then drawn in and then dumped again, very rough for Eugene.
I'm still not sure whether Graham was in love with Black or her though...
No more evolution on the theory of who hurt black and why specifically, except it's either the obvious answer (Tawi) or Tod...
Also, gosh! First was distracting this ep! Like how am I supposed to read the subtitles when I can't look away from his eyes??
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Multiple images of Yok staring at other characters]
Excuse me sir, please put your eyes away so I can focus!
Tumblr media
[Image of Yok with his hand on Grahams face as they stare into each others eyes]
ALSO WHAT KIND OF TEASING WAS THIS ^^^ First Graham and Black now Graham and Yok? Somebody better kiss Graham soon (I mean he did kiss Eugene but STILL).
The nuance of Yok's mother being negatively impacted by his actions... ahh I do adore it.
@plantsarepeopletoo made a comment when we were watching about White being thought and Black being action and the halves of the whole they make up. All these people influenced by Black's action now being exposed to White's thought...
Tumblr media
[Image of Sean and White asleep together]
Also again, OffGun is still working for me no matter how much I want White and Graham to kiss...
PLUS
Cop/Yok progression!! (I haven't learned Gawin's characters name yet)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Yok saying: Will you uncuff me so we can have a proper conversation]
(Gawin also showing off his eyes this ep!)
(also Yok loves him for his skill as an artist?? Be still my beating heart)
I have been promised GOOD things for next ep :D
Tumblr media
[Yok saying: It's my turn to draw you]
Also commentary on the police!! The actions we don't see and the difference between individuals and an organisation. SO MUCH IS BEING SAID IN THIS SHOW. Working both inside and outside organisations is required to make change. Also the way officers are granted automatic respect/lack of suspicion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[image 1 with Yok saying: being both a cop and an artist that runs from cops. Image 2 with cop saying: I want to make things better than they are now]
Plus the confirmation from multiple characters this ep around knowing that their actions might lead to death or jail and choosing it anyway... Youth is such a passionate time.
Tumblr media
[Yok saying: I never considered myself a hero who fights for justice]
Tumblr media
[Sean saying: I do whatever needs to be done]
I think that's all for now, I am curious how the rising up of more people might challenge the more extreme actions of the gang, since White was working hard this ep to make them understand that alienating the people would only hurt their cause...
Also how long before Black wakes up? And at what point does the gang find out? Is White in place for the whole series?
Also didn't get any dad these two eps either so White hasn't been White for a while...ugh patience
This ended up with a lot of Yok images again... no idea why that keeps happening.

Be My Favorite Finale Timeline [EP.10-12] How Pisaeng and Kawi change until they become equal
I honestly have no idea why I spent so much time on this, but the discussion with @rocketturtle4 got me thinking and, well, I like to consume my media scientifically, so I made a graph of my interpretation of the final jump xD
Somehow, I believe there wasn't really any 'different' alternate timeline this time because the changes to Kawi and Pisaeng's lives were minimal, so it can be a slightly different AU but to simplify, I'll assume it's one timeline because it makes a lot of sense. What's fascinating to me is not following their where-being (or when-being) but the changes in the characters mindsets.
Tumblr media
[please open it to study, i couldn't make it more vertical, unfortunately]
I was talking about possible reasons why Kawi suddenly seemed to switch into such wise and calm demeanor during their repeated date, and I've heard of behavior patterns of Child, Parent, Adult modes.
Disclaimer: we studied it in uni very briefly cuz i'm actually STEM major but that description of mindsets opened my eyes and explained a lot to me so i'm using it, you can interpret it's probably with your own life experience; also terminology is probably not official, i'm describing it with my words and not scientific articles
So let me tell you my thoughts!
Phase [1]
Tumblr media
Kawi and Pisaeng aren't on the equal footing even if they started to date. Kawi is into his "child mode": he's anxious and even if he's brave at times without alcohol, he's getting more anxious about being with Pisaeng due to all pressuring flirting (and Max's comments). His fears and hesitation are valid but he is protesting and running away a lot, sometimes being unnecessarily harsh and self-centered.
Pisaeng in his "parent mode" has to coax him, reassure him and sometimes manipulate to get them where he wants them, adding more not-subtle hints and more pressure onto Kawi.
Tumblr media
Phase [2]
Tumblr media
The date doesn't go well because they are not communicating and the power/control imbalance is too strong. It's not enough to get them to break up, of course, but it's not perfect life.
But wait – then why had the series immediately jumped to such a sweet intimate scene without any communication? Did we miss something? Why Kawi seemed to be hesitantly ready to challenge himself now when he just flatly refused to go on a scary ride with Pisaeng? First night shouldn't work when two people are on very different levels of comfort and confidence, so many viewers were worried and put off by this, me included. [especially if you consider Kawi was so heavily ace-coded throughout the show, it felt really wrong to force him to go through this in his alleged state of mind]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[now I completely recontextualized these Kawi's brave little nods, anxious blinking and heavy breathing, thanks to time-travelling hooray]
But! In EP.12 we get an explanation – Kawi actually lived the day twice (vaguely conscious of that) and experienced something very unusual that flipped his mindset – Pisaeng in distress. Kawi saw very upset and sad, scared and not confident Pisaeng in "child mode" and... immediately switched to his "parent mode" instead. (as someone who experienced this, I can tell that this switch can happen really fast and work really effective and it's not unbelievable).
Kawi is now the one reassuring Pisaeng – as someone who lived longer, as someone who already time-traveled and learned a lesson or two from time wizard and his own countless mistakes. Knowing that he and Pisaeng lived many happy years and they both don't want to change anything, left only one thought: well, then let's just be brave for each other, hold hands and face the future together, no matter what it is. I'll be strong for you when you aren't, and vice versa.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Phase [3]
Finally communicating with Pisaeng and seeing his vulnerable side, being able to provide comfort for him and gaining much-needed control, Kawi is reaching his ultimate bravery and peace in "adult mode".
It is leading him to overcome his last fears (even if taking "high adrenaline rides for adults" doesn't make him feel great anyway like he predicted, it makes Pisaeng happy so he'll do it, and they met each other in the middle instead, therefore the metaphor is complete). Kawi lives many years very content and zen-like, speaking wisdom because he's satisfied with his not-grand-not-miserable life. He also knows a bit about his future and getting extremely sick (he probably prepared that "i know what you have done!" teasing long beforehand xD) and just patiently lives his happy life, enjoying every moment in the present.
Original!Pisaeng, however, is still in his "parent mode", but since Kawi is meeting him now with more strength and confidence, they are able to move forward from disaster dates and live for years in good relationship, making many sweet domestic memories.
But it's time for Pisaeng's self-journey!
Phase [4]
Tumblr media
Years in the future, Pisaeng is seeing Kawi's potential for stardom and celebrity fame, and he is thinking their queer relationship is bad for Kawi's life, that he's holding him back. Being "parent" all this time, he still feels responsible for Kawi. He doesn't believe that Kawi actually experienced fame in another life and doesn't want it anymore. Pisaeng thinks he doesn't improve Kawi's life. Not being able to pinpoint his fears or get answers that would satisfy him out of nonchalant enlightened Kawi, Pisaeng is slipping more into "child mode".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And when Kawi gets extremely sick, Pisaeng is hit with distressing realization that Kawi legally has no family and he's powerless to help him or do anything. All the more reasons that Kawi shouldn't have been staying in relationship with Pisaeng. Maybe they should've broken up in the past (which he actually suggest when going back). Eventually, Pisaeng is unsure, scared and in need of advice, like a child.
Phase [5]
Tumblr media
It's only when he's experienced travelling to the past [Phase [2]], he actually believes Kawi. And Kawi insists that he would never change anything even if he knew he could die. He claims Pisaeng is the right person for him, and there's no room for any but what if? – Kawi has experienced many versions of his life, and he knows what he's talking about. Parenting reassurance of Kawi finally gives Pisaeng the peace of mind and his confidence back. [also something something hand offering-hand rejection-hand reaching-hand holding leitmotiv throughout phase 2 and phase 5]
At the happier and more peaceful version of their date, Kawi and Pisaeng already are two equal "adults" stuck in a weird little dot of a time-loop — but it is the exact moment that would define their whole life together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now they have similar timey-wimey experiences, mutual understanding and the same level of love, communication and bravery to face the future. That's where they definitely end up during the Time-Travelling point of Pearmai's wedding, after Pisaeng returns to the future and meets Kawi as equal.
With their lovely found family, many happy memories, bright future, both Kawi and Pisaeng are being confident and content with their lives.
Time Wizard Uncle's job is done here, for sure.

Dead Friend Forever ep 8 initial reaction
Omg everyone I’ve caught up!!!!! I’m gonna get to watch the behind the scenes and first eps again woooooooooooo. Thought this ep would have more answers honestly but I got some big new questions
Let’s get into it
Tumblr media
But hey he told someone before he died hopefully something can come of that. Once again we know Tee’s uncle gets caught.
Tumblr media
Okay so Non’s crying scenes where he’s wearing the bracelet really killed me. Poor baby. So lost and scared no where to go until he mentally snaps. We don’t know exactly what mental disorder he struggles with. I assume it’s bipolar or schizophrenia. It’s sad but I’ve know people who struggled with both. Going off their medication lead to really dangerous places and ways of thinking. I don’t blame non for going to extremes here. Ugh his scream up the stairs really is going to torture me
Tumblr media
Tee does at least extremely regrets what he does to Non. I really don’t think he wanted Non dead or in this much trouble but besides non he’s the one most in over his head. He’s also in an impossible situation. No escape his dad is sick and his uncle is an evil bastard who barely takes care of him.
Tumblr media
God I hate Por he is really despicable. He’s so realistic though the bully with too much money for his ‘friends’ to speak up. Por has 0 empathy for anyone has little concept of others even his ‘friends’ when Top gets attacked you know you didn’t care? Por.
Tumblr media
Oh Non. They did bully and torture you. Non was too good too desperate to make friends to even have one like Jin. He genuinely was doing most of it for Jin. Just to have one friend. So painful. Bullies don’t care what could be going on in your life. I think it’s part of having their brains under developed because later in life they may apologize. I was really bullied in school and when I go home which is 16 hours ago via car sometimes I’ll run into my bullies and they’ll act like we were friends. Or they’ll try to contact me online etc. I think they learn what it means to be bullied later in life or (this actually happened) they have a kid that has ADHD and likes anime and other interests I had and they realize that as a school kid they would have bullied and tortured their own child. So to make up for it they want to talk to me again. Non shouldn’t have gone to that house. He should have just pretended like they were already dead. Change schools. But… if he’s off his medication he can’t be held accountable for his actions here. He’s already obsessed with his story pre everything breaking down. Gahhh I feel so bad for him.
Tumblr media
Is this the last time we see Non? He could still be alive I doubt it though. I can’t believe Jin thinks he’s better than the rest of them. Jin and Fluke should have stopped them. I realize that maybe they didn’t understand the depths of trouble Tee is in. Maybe they didn’t compute the graviety of the situation. Non told them Tee had him do the horse account. But it’s worse than that. I’m sure with time Jin at least can put together the extent of trouble Non was in and know he’s been killed.
Tumblr media
Tee does try multiple times at his own risk to try to find out what happened to non which is something. It’s possible his relationship with White is an idealized penance for what he did to Non. White is also innocent looking and sweet like Non really was.
Tumblr media
Phee’s dad is in an impossible situations the bad guys have proven they are willing to kill and completely cover it up with money. I don’t blame him for backing off to protect his child.
Tumblr media
Gahhhhhjj I hate Por so much. Idk why he acted so upset about Non at the beginning of the series. If anything the one who seemed least upset about Non was Jin. But Jin broke the camel’s back and lead Non into the lions den again and again.
Tumblr media
Come on Phee let’s get those bitches.
So Tan I’m 100% sure he is New. You can change your nickname.
What I don’t know is
1. Why would Top do anything to Por? Top delivered Non with Tee. Top knew about the accounts. Top doesn’t seem involved heavily else where so… idk
2. Where and who is White? Did he really not know anything is he related to the teacher maybe? Cause we know the teacher is dead. I doubt it though.
3. Does Phee have any feelings for Jin? I doubt it.

Note
Hello once again, let me check my notes for my next list of questions. (lol im so sorry lol) 1) Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but in some of the commentaries/Q&As you've mentioned that Arthur Lester was a character whom you've had created for a while now before inserting him into Malevolent. I was wondering if you've had to (or plan on) changing up any of his already thought out past/history when making him the main character of Malevolent? Or has his previously built character/story stayed the same and you're just picking and choosing which aspects (and when) to incorporate them into the Malevolent story? 2) I have hopes that we'll get content of John and Arthur seeing a movie at some point (which may answer this question if nothing interrupts their show LOL) BUT, would John be the type of character to talk through a movie and react to everything happening on screen? Or would he be the type to stay quiet and hush anyone who tries to interrupt his movie experience? (I would assume the former just for Arthur's sake at least lol) 3) How often do you add/change little details, sfx, dialogue etc. from the Patreon released chapters to the Public release? I know in my chapter listens, at the beginning especially, there are significant differences (and in some cases entirely newly recorded line delivery?) I know there was a remastered release of Season 1 (and 2??) at some point, but after that do you normally just leave the chapters as is and string them together or do you sometimes add a couple more tweaks before releasing them publicly? 4) Ep 29 was fantastic with it's soundscaping! (and in general lol) So Im curious, and i cant recall if its been answered before, but what would you say was the most challenging soundscape for you to do to get to the point where you were satisfied with how it sounded? Are you the type that once its finished and out in the world it's considered done or are you the type that will go back and add more touch ups over time? (idk how public release stuff works so i imagine doing the latter would be a hassle) and I once again would like to thank you for your patience and kindness answering my novel of questions for you each time i send them in!
1) yes and the latter, the character was originally named Cobalt and was much angrier at the world.
2) tbd
3) after part 2 nothing but the music is changed. From season 3 on nothing is changed save one minor swap I did for chapter 144 and I wonder if anyone (yourself included) would notice or remember. I released 145 and when the public release went live I changed 144 minority and replaced it. Muhahaha
4) if I wasn’t lazy/busy it’d be the latter. I’d say the car at the end of 28 was tough.
Thank you!

Peaceful Property EP 1 Thoughts
To start off with a controversial opinion: I think New is the type of actor who is really, really good at playing a specific type of character. In his case, down-to-earth, if occasionally anxious and/or neurotic, nice guys. When he’s playing this type of character, he can bring the comedy as well as the drama and his character can show steel and fire when necessary.
I have no idea how he is in real life. He could be, I hope not, but he could be the biggest asshole diva around for all I know. But when he’s playing a nice guy, I focus on the character. Whenever he tries to play a jerkish character, I find myself thinking, ‘Well, he’s acting.’
It didn’t work for me in Club Sapan Fine when he was playing a rich, out-of-touch character, and the only times I thought he did good in I’m Tee, Me Too was when he had quieter scenes, not when his character was being mouthy and crass.
And also, aware I could be wrong, but: I’m convinced he doesn’t actually speak any English. I really hope the show drops him occasionally saying things in English. A few times, I was wondering why there were no English subtitles, because, I didn’t know what he was saying.
Then, I realised, oh, right he’s speaking English. The fact English usually isn’t translated when the subtitles are English does make a certain amount of sense, even though it might make it easier for English-speakers with hearing impairments to know what’s going on without having to find a way to get extra subtitles.
It wasn’t his accent I had a problem with; he just flat out was not saying the words to where I could understand them. I don’t know if First Kanaphan has gotten better about it or not, but I had the same problem with him in Wolf when he tried to speak English.
And finally, to get it out there, I do hope this is a BL, but whether it is or not, please, show, do not have Home end up with any female character. Kan and Pang are too good for him. Peach is too good for him, too, but if the right character development is given to Home, I can be okay with him and Peach being together with Pang (and maybe, Kan, too) being at the ready to frell him up if he ever does anything too stupid or hurtful to Peach.
I’m sort of already shipping Kan and Pang.
I don’t know if Best is going to be around for future episodes. For some reason I was surprised at how much he was in this one, but I’m definitely not complaining. For some reason, I just had the thought, ‘A wild Perth appears!’ when he first popped up.
If Best is sticking around, and assuming he turns out to be a good guy, I’d be fine with him ending up with Pang, Kan, or Peach. Or even Home, though, he might be too good for Home, too. I’d be fine with Peach ending up with Kan.
Just don’t put any female character with Home, show, I beg of you.
Onto the good:
Jan is a straight up chameleon actress.
Tay Tawan is a tall, good-looking man, and from what I’ve seen, he conducts himself confidently during interviews and the like. He can definitely play strong, confident characters, but one thing I admire about him is that he can also convincingly play characters who shy and/or sad and/or ill-adjusted.
Some performers are not afraid to play messy, pathetic, and/or tragic characters. They aren’t afraid to be goofy or annoying or just go all out bringing the type of character who, if they met an actual person like this, they’d be, ‘No,’ to life.
Could be wrong, but I don’t think he has any issues with putting it all into a character who isn’t the ideal leading man type despite being so good at playing an ideal leading man.
I know he’s played jerkish characters, but I don’t know if he’s ever played a straight-out villain. I’d really like to see him play one.
I love Peach and Pang’s relationship. She called him “hia” at one point! Aw.
Another moment I loved was, when the landlady was trying to break in, her declaring her handsome brother would soon have a billionaire fall in love with him.
Shipping googles aside what with the transition to a news report about Home immediately after this, instead of focusing on her brother eventually being able to get a good job, instead of her having any plans to get a rich person to fall in love with her (she totally could), instead of talking about how her influencer career will pay off someday (it might), she’s just like, my sweet, handsome brother is going to capture some rich person’s heart, and that rich person will take care of him and me, his sister.
Which, yeah. If Peach fell in love with someone, that someone had better be prepared for wherever they’re living to have an extra room for Pang, or Peach is gone.
I also loved when Home broke in, numerous times, Peach automatically got physically behind his younger and smaller sister.
One thing I’m curious about: Do Peach and Pang share a bed?
Pang wasn’t in the apartment when Home somehow came in and got into bed with Peach without making a sound or causing discernible movement, and I admit, I was expecting a ghost, not Home, in that scene.
I dunno. As someone who coos over almost every instance of bedsharing be it platonic or romantic, I’m not sure this wouldn’t be a rare time I don’t. I love the fact Randy and Earl share a bed in My Name is Earl, and I once read a story about someone being freaked out that an adult brother and sister, both fully clothed, shared a bed on vacation, and I didn’t understand why this weirded them out so much.
But yeah, two opposite-sex siblings sharing a bed full-time might be a little icky.
Switching to Home, I hope his uncle isn’t revealed to be a villain. I like his and Home’s relationship.
I’m here for his aunt and her loyal assistant or maid being thorns in his side. I did think New did well with some comedy in this episode, and one of my favourite moments was, when told to seize him, the aunt’s underling just wrapped around him in a hug.
I thought he was going to drop that delicate teacup, and good job on the subversion of just having him spit-spray tea, show.
Him jump-scaring the siblings multiple times was hilarious.
And random, I love that Best was saved as Best Boy in Peach’s contacts. Adorable and funny.
I think I’m going to like this series.
