zuriñe is more of a homey person ! as i mentioned here, she hadn't left uspana in over a decade as of 1926, and i don't know that she leaves again after the trip to meet rowena's parents. she did travel monthly to do patronage work for years, but she stopped doing that sometime earlier in the 1920s for health reasons. the orphanage is in the part of uspana she's from, so part of why she didn't mind the travel is because she could return there. she talks to rowena about missing home and how different it is from the region where she's lived for decades. in general, she's fine to at home and entertain herself in a familiar space—whether in her garden or at the loom. i did recently put together that nakawe palace was already under construction when fernando succeeded his father (polite way to describe patricide, but i digress), but he and zuriñe had tonacatec as their residence instead of living there. since nakawe palace is the business hub, it makes sense that zuriñe, being private and a homebody, would want to live elsewhere.

oof, it's unfortunate, but i haven't had an opportunity to think about zuriñe in a while ... i'm going to make up three, right now, just for you:

i established that the shield flower, which is basically a sunflower, is a big flower in uspana. zuriñe is a gardener, and she has a variety named after her.

zuriñe has never been a fan of automobiles and resisted replacing the carriage fleet with them. she remained a nervous passenger for years and, as you may imagine, finds rowena's love of driving a little horrifying.

zuriñe's favorite accessory is a yellow scarf she inherited from her mother, but she rarely wears it because it doesn't comport with the color dress code that necessitates she wears blue in public.

"Be Our Guest" original draft storyboards vs final film (💖)

The song was originally written by Ashman and Menken to be sung by the enchanted objects to Maurice instead of Belle. However, story artist Bruce Woodside felt that the song would make more sense if it was sung to Belle, the main character, as opposed to secondary character Maurice, and directors Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale agreed.

Jason Todd arrives to the Gotham after being brought back alive for the first time, and while building up his career as Red Hood, visits Harvey Dent in the Arkham. They talk in a surprising peace, discuss this and this, and Jason even shares some of his insane ass lore, because, honestly, who is going to believe Harvey Dent?

And no one doesn't.

But there is a problem. The next time Bruce Wayne visits Harvey, Harvey randomly drops a bomb on him by saying that he is so, so glad that their Jaylad is back, and he grew up so much, looks so much like Bruce now! He even tries to assure him that, you see, yeah, Jason was dead, but he crawled out of his grave, and then, the Lazarus Pit fixed him!

Bruce thinks Harvey finally had reached the end of his line. Like, low-key, the last stage of insanity.

Harvey: God, he is still so well-mannered. I feel so pleased that he came to visit old me first, though. I always thought I was his favourite over you.

Bruce, laughing awkwardly, while asking the medics to add some new medicine to Harvey: Ahaha, yeah, that sounds like our Jaylad.

Harvey: Super happy for him, seriously. I mean, look at him, getting himself a new career as a Red Hood. That's our son. Feel a little bit bitter that he is into Al Ghuls family now, but that's fine.

Bruce, frowning, because Harvey isn't supposed to know about Al Ghuls and their connection to Lazarus Pit or about Red Hood: Uh, had J-Jason said something else to you?

Harvey: Oh, damn, we spoke for the whole night. He was pissed at you, though. Like, for the Tim guy, whoever he is.

Bruce, turning to the doctors: ...Maybe, uh, give me the same pills you gave him. I feel like I need it, too.
