Metal Sonic Reflections is an IDW mini comic that lives in my head rent free. It says so much with hardly any words and I could write an essay about it and so I'm gonna babble my analysis of all the pages about it here because I simply cannot shut up about this
Analysis/babble under the cut!
First of all, the first and second page already say so much.

We know Metal hates losing. You can see here how his attention is drawn by seeing himself on screen. He watches his defeat and seems to continue on unbothered, but then his fists clench.

Notice that it doesn't happen right away - the walking panel has him quite a distance from that screen now, and even then it's one panel later that he clenches his fists. He's mulling over his failure. Ruminating on it and thinking about it and getting more and more frustrated and angry as he does so. His whole posture changes in that third panel with how he leans forward, almost like he's angrily storming off.
The vat of metal virus catches his eye - hard to say why for sure. Maybe because it turns people into something kind of robot-like, and as a robot, he's curious about it (I know I would be). Maybe he's already had on his mind what's been happening to Sonic, and he just spotted the opportunity to test what's been eating at him.

Either way, he approaches, stares at it for a moment, then looks to the screen, watching how it is affecting Sonic. Infecting him. Metal Sonic believes he's the true Sonic, or at least, a better Sonic. It's hard to say exactly what that means to Metal (surely he knows Sonic can't turn into a giant dragon creature, but that didn't stop him from doing that in Heroes as long as it meant beating him and proving he was better lol) but he has always seemed to be so obsessed with that concept. What's really interesting to me here is that he glances back to see if anyone else is watching. Like he knows he shouldn't be doing this, or maybe even like he's embarrassed or ashamed that he's going to do this in the first place. Like he knows he'd be judged for doing this, viewed as ridiculous for the whole thing, or maybe even scolded for it, and yet he wants to do it anyway. He needs to do it.

When he goes to touch the metal virus, he hesitates. Like he's afraid. Is he afraid that he actually will get infected? That he'll be harming himself just to prove a point? Is he afraid that he won't be infected and it'll do the opposite of prove a point, and if he just went on about his day he would never know and could pretend he'd have been just as infected as Sonic was?
Either way, he steels himself. He's resolved to whatever this leads to - he seems straight up ready to succumb to the virus if that's what it takes to find a similarity between himself and Sonic. He's so different in so many ways and losing over and over, among many things, must only drive that point home. How can someone better, or even identical, only ever lose? There's gotta be something similar about them. He can't be an inferior robot copy. He just can't be.
So here he is, being rash, impulsive, and doing something that could be self-destructive and dangerous (ironically a lot like Sonic HAHA) and he touches the virus.
In that last panel, to me it looks like he's leaning forward a little. He almost looks excited? Crazy to be excited about possibly turning into a zombot but you can see where his priorities lie for sure with that. He'd possibly rather become a zombot than find another difference between him and his so-called copy.

But of course he's a robot and nothing happens. He keeps staring at his hand. That close up on his eyes followed by the silhouette with a white background just feels like chef's kiss to me, because we don't know exactly what's going through his head, but it's got him so messed up that in the next page, it's shown that he's completely zoned out. Maybe he's shocked because he firmly believed it would affect him. Maybe he's grieved because it's just one more piece of evidence that he's not Sonic and never will be - never can be. Maybe he's struggling to comprehend it in general - his programming says he's the true/better Sonic, so how could this have not worked?

Maybe it's a combination of all three, but either way, he's so lost in his thoughts that he straight up does not notice the portal lighting up the room, does not hear Starline approach, doesn't even hear him tell Metal to leave until he snaps his fingers directly in his face. He's a fine-tuned, well-made robot that should have incredibly fantastic sensors to allow him to act quickly and efficiently to any stimuli. Yet he didn't. Starline get close enough to do that, and the fact that Metal only noticed once he was snapping in his face says so much about how much this whole thing affected Metal. How lost in thought and feelings he was about the whole matter. It's gotta eat him up inside, how much everything contradicts what his programming tells him. He can never be the one thing he's supposed to be, a truer, better version of Sonic, and he can never do the one thing he's supposed to do, which is to defeat Sonic. Man I love Metal Sonic, he's such a tragedy.

orion pax x human!reader x d-16 and a sprinkle of platonic x elita <3 pocket spouse au
summary: finally, the time has come to meet your spouse! after joining the Pocket Spouse Program — an Earth-Cybertron friendship pact allowing humans to become partners to bots who wish to have their very own human to love, cherish, and treat as their soft, squishy spouses — you’ve been waiting for so long for your turn to come. and as it turns out, this long-awaited day is full of pleasant surprises <3
cw: fluff, canon divergence because tfo takes place bazilion years before humans, a little bit of jealousy and obsessive thoughts, possessiveness, implied polyamory, implied nsfw thoughts (nothing explicit thought)
word count: 3900
shot out to all the anons and non-anons who gave me a lot of great ideas for this au <3
Armed with a travel bag filled with the most useful items and a backpack stuffed with supplies, you stand before the capsule-shaped elevator. You take a deep breath, trying to steady yourself before stepping into the tight, enclosed space, and enter, sealing your fate. The doors close behind you, and without giving you even a second to prepare, the elevator descends rapidly, taking you towards your new life but not granting enough time to fully shake off the old one.
Not that there was much to shake off, considering you had willingly made the decision to join the Pocket Spouse program. Nothing was holding you on Earth, least of all luck, so you decided to seek it elsewhere. And as it happened, you chose to start your search on a planet inhabited by sentient, enormous, transforming robots who, apparently, had quite the fascination with humans. An extreme new beginning, but after hearing only good things about the living conditions and the way humans were treated with care, you figured — why not, if it meant living in luxury?
Of course, you had considered various scenarios in case the rumors turned out to be a sham. You could end up with anyone. A fetishist, a collector of exotic pets, a hoarder of toys. That was the unknown, stressful factor that the speed of the elevator gave you no chance to tame. The decision of which robotic spouse you would be assigned to also did not belong to you, so all you could do was hope for a stroke of luck that you’d end up with someone normal.
You don’t even have time to take another deep, reassuring breath when the capsule comes to a sharp stop, and almost immediately its sliding doors open.
You’re greeted by a metallic face with distinctly feminine features. Beautiful in its strange, alien way, but also serious. One look is enough to tell you that you’re dealing with a bot who is strict and has no tolerance for nonsense, but your first impression naturally shifts when your eyes and her optics meet. Her metal face softens almost instantly, easing your stress just enough for you to regain feeling in your legs. You step out toward the bot, onto a small platform designed specifically for a species of your size, and with each step, the bot seems to grow to an unsettlingly immense scale.
The room is small — or at least it seems that way as you try to translate its dimensions into the standards of the giants who inhabit this planet — and carelessly sterile in dark gray tones. There’s no doubt it was put together in a rush, without much thought, simply to exist and serve its function. Its barrenness is unsettling. So much for a luxurious life of doing nothing?
The bot straightens and pulls a datapad closer as she finally speaks. “[Name] [Last Name], I presume?” You still can’t get over how easily the metal of her face bends and flexes when needed, as if it were made of rubber.
“Exactly.”
She nods her helm. “My name is Elita One. I am the head of this mining sector, and I also hold responsibility for every pocket spouse assigned here. And unless there is a change in management, you answer to me, you listen to me, and you bring all future requests or orders to me.”
Oh. So you got assigned to the working class. Fine, you’ll adjust as soon as you get proper living conditions. “Alright.” The lack of warmth in her demeanor discourages you from wanting to engage in any future interactions, but if she’s your only lifeline to protection from potential mistreatment, you’ll treat her words as gospel. “Nice to meet you.” You smile and extend a hand toward her. She stares at you hesitantly for a moment before finally reaching out a single digit to complete the greeting.
“Likewise.”
Elita doesn’t withdraw her servo, though; instead, she straightens it and clasps her digits together, gesturing for you to climb onto her palm. “For safety.”
“Oh. Thanks.” You accept the invitation, though a red flag starts waving in your mind. You don’t remain on her servo for long, as Elita smoothly and carefully transfers you onto her shoulder.
“I advise you to be careful,” she warns. “Miners rarely interact with pocket spouses, so they might try to touch you or snatch you up in their servos. Do not try to stand, do not lean over, and above all, do not excite them. A simple wave of your hand is enough to send them into a frenzy. Understood?”
Alright, now the stress is back. You hadn’t expected such strong reactions towards humans, especially since this trend od getting pocket spouses was no longer new. “Wait. I thought pocket spouses were already a well-established concept on your planet.”
“Not in these parts,” she sighs. “On the surface, the sight of humans may not cause much of a stir, but things are different down here. For us miners, pocket spouses are a rarity. Only the best can afford them.”
Oh, so even among a highly advanced race of sentient robots, there was still a harmful caste system in place. “Oh, I’m sorry,” you stammer, because what else is there to say in this situation? When she shoots you a sour glance, you decide to change the subject, hoping to save your image from seeming callous and naïve. You clear your throat. “So, I assume you already have your own pocket spouse?”
She gives you a pointed side-eye. She saw right through your plan.
“Of course, I do. Do I need to repeat myself about being careful, or is everything clear?”
“Clear as day.” You don’t need to see her faceplate to know that this human phrase is unfamiliar to her. Feeling her impatient side-eye on you, you awkwardly correct yourself, “Yes.”
“Good. If you have anything else you’d like to know, now is the time to ask. I assure you, you won’t have time later.”
“My spouse. What are they like?”
“Spouses,” she corrects nonchalantly, not even looking up from her datapad, throwing you completely off.
“Spouses? Do I get one for free?”
Elita does not appreciate your attempt at humor. She sends you a sharp look.
“In a manner of speaking. Officially, a pocket spouse is assigned to a single bot, but there are cases of sharing. Or, if by some miracle, a human ends up with a conjunx. But I haven’t heard of such cases.”
Conjunx? That’s a new word, and it means absolutely nothing to you, but you decide to store it in your memory for later, too distracted by the fact that you’ve been assigned to a pair.
“Okay, I definitely wasn’t expecting that.”
“Does that make you uncomfortable?”
“No. I think? I don’t know yet, you caught me off guard.” You take a deep breath. You’ll manage. Somehow. “So, my spouses. What are they like?”
Elita’s expression darkens, and that, in turn, unsettles you. That couldn’t be a good sign.
“What is it? Did I get assigned to some creeps?”
“Worse,” she huffs. “D-16 is a decent mech and an exemplary miner, and officially, he is your spouse. But Orion —” she grips the datapad tighter as if restraining herself from an outburst “—Orion is the most foolish, irresponsible, and reckless bot on all of Cybertron. And if you think I’m exaggerating, you’re gravely mistaken. He attracts trouble like a magnet and throws himself into it because he is incorrigible. I almost pity you, really, because you couldn’t have gotten a worse match. Even Darkwing would have been a better spouse.”
But… as if fighting her own thoughts, she adds, “For all their recklessness… they worked very hard to have you, and I know they will treat you well. Perhaps clumsily at first, but well. That doesn’t change the fact that Orion has an empty canister instead of a processor, so if he does something idiotic, and he will, you are to report it to me immediately.”
Galncing at the datapad, she adds "Do you want to know anything else? We don't have much time for idle chatter."
"Just one thing. You mentioned that there's already a human in this sector. Can you arrange for us to meet sometime soon? It’d be nice to have occasional contact with someone like me."
"We'll see what can be done," she replies warily, clearly displeased with the idea. Her answer makes it obvious that there's a high chance you’ll be left hanging rather than meeting your fellow human, but you’re not giving up that easily.
"Thanks," you say. Out of politeness, feeling an even stronger urge to stay on her good side.
"Shall we begin?"
You take a deep breath. You’re doing this. You’re meeting your extraterrestrial partners, cementing your future on this planet. Your hesitation lasts only a moment — just a brief weighing of pros and cons, an instant of fighting the urge to turn around and run back to the elevator. Less than a second is all it takes for you to give your answer.
"Yes, I want to meet them."
"Be careful," she warns sharply, one last time. "I've worked too hard for this job to lose it now because of human irresponsibility."
Elita takes a step forward, and you have to grab onto her helm to keep your balance, but thankfully, an exaggerated optic-roll is her only reaction to the excess contact. The next steps aren’t as shocking; by the third, you’ve adjusted to the rhythm of the giant leading you to a set of sliding doors, which she opens with a button on the side.
Your pocket spouses certainly know how to make… an intriguing first impression.
Caught off guard by the sudden opening of the doors, they literally tumble into the room and land on the floor, shooting you a lightning-fast glance before scrambling to their pedes at record speed, straightening up as if nothing happened. Their excited grins grow quickly and they’re clearly contagious, because you feel your own lips curling into a smile.
They look masculine and young, as much as you can say that about beings whose tissues don’t age. What grabs your attention most is the bot with yellow optics. You haven’t seen such a unique color among their kind before. Maybe you haven’t met many bots yet, but you could swear most had blue optics. Interesting... You make a mental note to compliment those bright, captivating optics later.
Your gazes meet, and the mech with the unusual, beautiful optics parts his lips slightly. You get the feeling he wants to say something, but excitement completely paralyzes him.
"Well, that was a stunning performance. Was eavesdropping worth it?"
"Ahem, no... we weren't eavesdropping," Orion defends himself, though his gaze remains fixed on you.
"Forgive us, Elita, you just caught us off guard when you opened the door so suddenly," D-16 adds, having suddenly regained control over his body.
They step closer, as if hypnotized, drawn to minimizing the distance, but Elita halts them with an outstretched arm. They stop, but their lovestruck expressions make it clear that their minds are already revolving solely around you.
"Ugh, pull yourselves together," Elita scolds. "You won’t lay so much as a digit on your pocket spouse until you’ve listened to the protocol, so focus."
"Mhm, yeah, yeah."
"Now do you understand what I was talking about earlier?" she directs at you. "I wish you Primus' patience with these two airheads."
"Oh, come on, they’re quite charming," you remark — but it turns out to be unnecessary, as the eruption of joy at hearing your voice is nearly impossible for even Elita to suppress.
Both of them surge forward, their excited cheers and cooing echoing through the empty room, bombarding you with loud adoration.
"Didn’t I just say something about getting them worked up?!" Elita hisses at you, but the sharp tone doesn’t sit well with your partners, their expressions suddenly sober as they feel the instinct to stand in your defense.
"Elita, leave them alone," Orion intervenes. "They’ve done nothing wrong."
"I knew this would happen," Elita sighs. "Enough. Let me recite the protocol so we can all go our separate ways, because I don’t have time to babysit all of you."
She looks at the two mechs before her to make sure they’re listening, but it quickly becomes evident they have no intention of cooperating today.
"Primus, focus! Do you think I have time to waste? Unlike you, empty cans, I have a ton of work to do and I'd like to finish it before my shift starts."
Still seeing their dazed, absentminded expressions, Elita decides to escalate.
"Do I have to take your pocket spouse away for you to finally pay attention?"
Orion snaps out of his trance first, alarmed at the idea of you being taken away.
"What? No, no! We’re listening now, boss."
"Next time, there won’t be a verbal warning. I’ll smack you both on the helms, and that’ll be the end of your pocket spouse respecting you."
Of course, a reprimanding servo-to-helm contact was unavoidable when it became clear they were drifting off again. But after the protocol was recited, a datapad signed, and you were informed that regular supplies of human fuel and clothing would be delivered to you, the long-awaited moment of your "eviction" from Elita’s shoulder finally arrived.
She steps closer to the two bots, who extend their servos with interlaced small digits toward you so you can transfer safely. Grabbing your bag, you carefully step from her shoulder onto their servo, at last entering physical contact with your spouses.
"You have a few clicks of free time before your shift starts," Elita informs them. "And if you’re even a nanoklik late, I swear you’ll be pulling overtime."
She gives you one last soft, almost sympathetic look, so out of place with her previous authoritative tone before leaving, closing the door behind her.
Two pairs of optics focus on you.
You gaze into them, sinking into the moment, finally understanding what Elita meant about their fascination with humans. Because looking into their dazzling optics, brimming with excitement and adoration, you find yourself experiencing that same fascination with their alien race, even though you’ve met other bots before.
You can truly call yourself a pocket spouse now, completely leaving your past life behind. And you sincerely hope this one will be better. That Orion and D-16 will make it so, though you have no guarantee.
"Hello," you say warmly.
"Hi," they reply almost simultaneously.
D-16 can’t hold back any longer. He extends his servo toward you, eager to finally acquaint himself with the texture of your body, but he hesitates the moment he feels you shiver ever so slightly, struck by your fear.
"Ah, I’m sorry, don’t be afraid," he says.
A bad start. A very bad start. He worries he’s already tainted your budding relationship, that his reckless excitement has scared you enough that you won’t give him a chance to open up. But you quickly soothe his fears.
"It’s okay, really. You can touch me if you want."
Their youthful, boyish excitement returns, softening their handsome metal faces — and your heart along with them.
"Just be careful," you remind them. "Humans are quite prone to accidental squishing."
"We’ll remember," D-16 promises. "We’d never hurt you. Right, Orion?"
"Of course. You’ll be completely safe with us."
"Alright, I believe you." Not entirely. You want to believe them. But if what Elita said was true, then they would stay true to their word if they worked so hard to be assigned a human. Only fools would deliberately destroy the fruits of their labor. "So? Do you want to touch your pocket spouse?"
Your pocket spouse. Your. Theirs. Theirs and only theirs.
It’s a dangerous thought for a miner, because the concept of ownership had been limited to just a recharge station and the locker next to it. Everything else was shared. Shared washracks, shared habsuites, shared berths for resting. There was no room for theirs.
But you were theirs. Truly, undeniably, and tangibly theirs. Only theirs. And they wanted it to stay that way. Theirs to touch, theirs to give attention to, theirs to talk to and compliment. Not for Jazz, not for Wheeljack, not for Sideswipe, and no longer for Elita. Theirs. It was beautiful and terrifying at the same time because you were burdening them with responsibilities they had never known before. Theirs. They couldn’t rely on anyone else anymore.
They exchange a brief, knowing glance. Theirs. They cannot ruin this. They cannot make mistakes. You have to like them, just as they instantly fell in love with you, and see them as good spouse material. They will show you that they can take care of you. Their pocket spouse. Theirs. Only theirs.
"What’s wrong? You don’t want to?" you ask teasingly, snapping them out of the traps of their own thoughts.
"Oh, Primus, of course we do. Very much. You have no idea how much," Orion confesses.
They were both brave, but it’s Orion who makes the first move. His servo finds your back, pressing against it with a single digit. Soft. Oh, so soft.
Once, he asked Elita what her pocket spouse felt like, and that was the answer he got. He didn’t understand it then. What was softness? What kind of sensation was it? What could he compare it to? But now… now he knew that softness was you, and you were softness. And if he could, he would never let you go.
"Wow, incredible. D, this is incredible, unlike anything else. You’re… extraordinary!"
He gently strokes your back, and you allow yourself to wrap your hand around his massive metal finger, which Orion welcomes with a beaming, delighted smile. How was it possible that your servo was even softer? Or maybe somewhere else, you were even softer still. He’d heard that humans and Cybertronians were compatible, and though he knows it’s not exactly proper to let his mind drift into impure, carnal territories so early in the relationship, cannot stop himself from dreaming of drowning in your softness. Wants to be surrounded by it. Wants to be suffocated by it. Wants to feel it after every shift, wake up in it and recharge.
Impatient with his partner’s sluggishness and selfishness, D-16 clicks his glossa.
"Move your digit, Pax, it’s my turn now."
It takes Orion a few nanokliks to pull himself away from his indecent thoughts. He doesn’t want to let you go, doesn’t want to be more than a few centimeters away from you ever again, but he knows D will smack him on the still-fresh sore spot left by Elita on his helm if he doesn’t pull his servo back. So he does. And immediately, he is consumed by an overwhelming sense of loneliness and emptiness, as if his life has suddenly become incomplete. He already wants to come back to you.
D-16’s reaction is similar. Awe at the new but pleasant texture manifests in his slightly parted intake and quick strokes across your back, searching for and discovering softness. Where your hand meets his digit, an incomparable warmth spreads, giving him a sense of completeness. You, him, and Orion. Three puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly, finally reunited after years of separation.
"I’m glad you like me," you laugh. "That’s a good start, huh?"
"It was good the moment we saw you," Orion says. "Really, we couldn’t have imagined a better pocket spouse."
"You’re too kind," you reply. You know they’re speaking from excitement, their minds weaving intricate visions and fantasies about life with a pocket spouse — visions that might not be so rosy in reality — but you don’t want to ruin it for them. Especially since you want to find a good life here, too. You want to be happy, regardless of the expectations they unknowingly place upon you. If they want to play house, you’ll join them. If they have a human fetish, you’ll indulge them in that too. "I think we’ll be happy together, won’t we? I’d like that."
"We will, for sure!" Orion assures enthusiastically.
"We know we’re just lousy miners, and you won’t have any luxuries," D-16 adds, earning a sharp elbow to the side from Orion. "I wasn’t finished, Pax." He elbows him back. "But we’ll do our best to make sure you have a good life with us. We’ll do everything for you. We’ll get… almost anything, but if you need something from the city, just say the word! Orion or I will get you food, clothes, whatever you need."
"Thanks, you’re sweet," you say, touched by their words. "I know I can’t do much, but maybe I can repay you somehow?"
"Just having you here is enough for now," D-16 says, smiling softly, enchanted by your question.
"Will you touch us again?" Orion asks, only to immediately receive a frustrated elbow. "What? They asked first."
D-16 pinches the bridge of his nose, unable to believe his partner’s tactlessness. Orion’s talent for making things worse had to affect you, it just had to. Just like every fragging time, it would fall on his shoulders to get them out of trouble, and in this case, to make sure you saw them as normal and worthy of being your spouses. They cannot mess this up. At any cost.
Which is why D is surprised when he hears your soft laughter. He lifts his servo from his faceplate and looks at you hopefully. So their relationship wasn’t ruined by Orion’s loose vocalizer?
"Of course. Come closer," you say, encouraging them further by crooking a finger.
Two massive faceplates move toward you simultaneously until they finally touch. They’re so close that you can stroke their cheeks, and so you do, slowly running your fingers over warm, living metal, drowning in their proximity. Orion and D-16 press into your hands, leaning into the comforting, though foreign, softness — now only theirs. Not for perching on Elita’s shoulder anymore. For them. Theirs to be petted, theirs to be embraced.
They could spend a lifetime in this room if it meant constant cheek-stroking and being spoiled by you. Oh, how they couldn’t wait for your shared life. Waking up with you. Coming back to their recharge stations after a hard day’s work, knowing someone was waiting for them. Spending time together. Telling you about Megatronus and Sentinel, showing off their merch, sharing every detail of their lives, and begging you to tell them about yours. About your planet, your interests, your human life — so they could make your life here as good as possible, desperately vying for your affection.
You will like them. You must. Because they already adored you, unconditionally devoted to their beloved pocket spouse. Theirs.
Relaxed and overwhelmed with contentment, they let their engines hum louder.
"Oh? You like this that much?" you ask, totaly not planning to exploit the bots’ ability to purr purely for your own selfish pleasure.
"Very much," Orion rumbles.
"You’re the best," D-16 adds.
For a moment, they open their optics, their gaze focused on you. And the trust flickering within them, the fervor of emotions burning away reason convinces you that you chose well by deciding to become a pocket spouse.

i need a pool day blurb with jenni after that bikini picture pretty pls bsf 💘 tysm

this is for @sunnyaelia who is constantlyy feeding my jenni obsession pool day II j.hermoso
finishing the final chapter of your book you near moaned with happiness, feeling as though you'd just scaled a mountain as immense gratification flooded your sun soaked bones.
with a content sigh you snapped it shut, patting the cover fondly and carefully tossing it onto the table a few feet away.
you'd been tackling said book for a far too long, and always having been an avid reader ever since childhood it had bugged you to no end that these days it took you months to finish a few chapters when you used to fly through a few books each week.
but life commitments seemed to stump that nowadays, though on vacation for the week it was the ideal opportunity to rectify that and only just two days in it made you feel immense relief that you'd conquered that.
you'd had your doubts of course, and they came in the form of the tall, tattooed clown you had the pleasure of calling your wife.
jenni was your favourite distraction but she was constantly just that, a distraction.
any sliver of free time you had away from family or work was consumed by her need for your every ounce of attention, and whatever you didn't give her she would simply take one way or another.
but your athlete superstar world cup winning striker was not as easily relaxed as you, and despite being on vacation together insisted on continuing her at times robotic rituals of exercise.
not that you could really complain given as much as you adored jenni as a person and a partner; her body, stamina and rippling physique was an immense benefit to all the perks that came with being mrs hermoso.
so your wife was off on her morning run, kissing you goodbye far too early for you to do much more than hum and roll onto your side as she chuckled and gently closed the bedroom door behind her with a click.
you'd arisen a couple hours later surprised that she still hadn't returned, but with the peace and quiet of her absence came the opportunity to finally finish your book and work on your tan, so here you were.
and it would seem right in the nick of time as you heard footsteps pad their way through the villa before her slides slapped against the concrete of the courtyard and suddenly your warmth dissapeared.
"you're blocking my sun hermoso." you warned with a small smile, eyes still closed but protected by a pair of sunglasses which were promptly snatched from your face.
"i am your sun, hermoso. just lighting up your days with my good looks and my muscles and my endearing personality." jenni quipped back with a grin as she settled her glasses on your nose and you cracked one eye up to stare up at her blankly.
you'd be lying if you said they didn't dip a little lower for a moment taking in her sweaty, toned and tanned half naked body before you which wasn't missed by your wife whose grin only grew at the sight.
"enjoying the view esposa? front row seats to la feria de armas." the gun show, the footballer smirked and flexed her arms obnoxiously with a few mock grunts as you rolled your eyes.
"can i get a refund?" you asked blankly, own smile curling upward as jenni's dropped and you closed your eyes again, kicking her gently and making a shooing motion with your hands.
"get out of my sun and take a shower, i can't tan in the shade amor." you chuckled and exhaled happily as she stepped aside and your face was once again bathed in the warm cancun sun.
"oh a shower? good idea, gracias bebé." her slightly chapped but still soft lips pressed sweetly against yours as she ducked down and slipped your stolen sunglasses back on your face before you smacked her ass with one hand as she passed, sending her a cheeky grin.
"niña traviesa." your wife clicked her tongue disapprovingly though you could see the corners of her mouth tug upward in amusement as she stripped off the singlet leaving her only in shorts and a sports bra, her well defined tattooed back disappearing into the villa.
you assumed that meant your peace and quiet resumed, how wrong you were.
"oh dios mio jennifer!" you groaned in annoyance as suddenly footsteps smacked against concrete and there was a brief pause of silence before a body met water with a loud splash and droplets rained down on you one after the other.
"sí precioso?" the girl popped up at the edge of the pool, tattooed arms crossed and her chin resting on them with a wicked grin as you glared down at her and wiped yourself off with a towel.
"idiota." you grumbled, tossing the now damp towel down on the ground and lying back down with a huff. "you suggested a shower no? i just wanted to share mi amor." again droplets rained down as her hand smacked at the water sending a small tidal wave across your legs.
knowing she was just egging on for a reaction you refused to give her one, only standing to turn your lounger around to face away from her before flopping back down on your stomach now which made her laugh, your wife pushing off the side of the pool and floating around humming something to herself as you settled yourself again.
but of course that too didn't last long.
"cari?" the striker called out, still floating on her back with her eyes closed, having changed into a brightly colored bikini which left very little to the eye or the imagination
you hummed in response, the noise muffled as you were still laying stomach down on the lounger a few feet away. "if you are in a competition with yourself, do you come first or last?" your wife asked as you only sighed, all too used to the strangely wonderful but weird way her brain worked.
"neither, no opponents means no winner or loser." you answered without moving a muscle, the older girl making a noise of surprise at your answer, quiet falling again as she took a moment to reflect on it.
"cari?" again you hummed in response, readying yourself for whatever was to come next. "can you daydream at night?"
"no mi amor, thats just thinking." you chuckled slightly at that one, jenni making another pleasantly surprised noise as again a beat of peace passed.
"cari?" a hum again. "if you clean a vacuum, do you become a vacuum cleaner?" you could hear the obvious grin in her tone at that as you snickered quietly. "no you'd actually become useful." you quipped as your wife scoffed in offence and kicked water at you, the few icy droplets which hit your back making you wince slightly.
"cari?" another hum. "if you drop soap on the floor, is the floor clean or is the soap dirty?"
"why?" you finally pulled your head up, sitting up at peering at her over the top of the lounger as she continued to float around the pool. "why not?" she rebutted, ducking under the water and doing a backflip beneath the surface as you rolled your eyes.
"show off." you shot at her, sunglasses slipping just down your nose as you watched jenni pull herself slowly out of the pool, sitting on the edge of with her legs still dangling in the water, wringing out her hair and stretching as she scraped it up into a bun atop her head.
your gaze found home on the way her soft tanned skin tensed and flexed with each movement, water drops cascading down her like she was stuck in a rain storm as she exhaled deeply and rolled her neck.
catching your eye she winked as you shook your head and laid back down as she stood and made her way over, disregarding the unoccupied lounger to your right and instead sitting on the edge of yours.
"so, is the floor clean or soap dirty mi todo?" you flinched ever so slightly as a cold finger traced down your spin, a smile forming on your lips which faced away from your wife who was writing out i love you on your back.
"both, the floor becomes clean where the soap hits it but the soap becomes dirty as it touches the floor." you answered simply as she hummed, seemingly satisfied with that answer. "smart and beautiful." the girl complimented, twisting around and trailing kisses down your shoulder blame as you sighed happily.
"i knew you married me for my mind." you teased. "no, for this." jenni grinned, one hand cupping a handful of flesh on your ass and squeezing before patting it affectionately as you reached out and pinched her thigh making her chuckle.
"again, idiota." you shook your head resisting the urge to smile, knocking her with your knee a little as you wriggled and flipped onto your back again, sighing as your glasses were once more snatched off your face.
"there is another chair there." you reminded as your wife scooched you across with her hands and laid down beside you, both of you near hanging off either side of the small lounger as her wet torso pressed against yours, though as the sun rose higher in the sky and the temperature soared upward the slight reprise now wasn't unwelcome.
"very observant mi vida, bien!" jenni grinned as your eyes opened and winced slightly from the sunlight hitting them, your wife quickly sliding your glasses back over them with a kiss pressed to your cheek.
"jenni i am going to fall off!" you laid in silence pressed against one another for a few minutes before she grew restless, sitting up and moving about nearly shoving you off.
but as you opened your eyes to tell her off further your words died in your throat, mouth running dry as the footballer tossing her soaking wet bikini top over her shoulder and smirked at the way your eyes clearly fixed to her now naked chest though disguised behind the glasses.
her breasts sat to attention, perfectly round and staring you right in the face as your wifes look of utter delight and amusement only grew.
"oh you wanted more space bebita? of course." you barely had time to process her words before her leg was swinging over your hips and she settled herself on top of you, shaking her head as her chest bounced and droplets rained down on you ironically only causing your mouth to dry up further.
but as you reached out eager to touch them her hands caught yours, interlocking her slender fingers with yours and pinning them down to the lounger as she leaned down, the feeling of her wet naked chest pressing against yours nearly having you moan.
"can't have you moving around too much ángel, you might fall off." her pearly white teeth bore down at you in a wolfish grin, sloped nose tucking into the crook of your neck as your eyes fluttered close at the special attention she gave the taunt skin there.
you felt her grin widen as your hips bucked ever so slightly up against hers as she suddenly bit down on the sensitive skin just beneath your jaw, sucking on the tanned flesh until it had turned dark red and sent your head spinning.
"mi niña bonita." jenni purred, kissing softly over the mark and trailing her lips across your jaw before finally pressing them against yours, a slight grind of her hips down into yours causing your breath to hitch with a gasp and her tongue to slip past your defenses, easily taking control of the kiss.
you barely had time to enjoy it before suddenly she was using her strength to easily pull you up and swap your positions, sliding beneath you as you now sat on top of her catching your breath momentarily.
unrestrained now you wasted no time gliding your hands across the firm ridges of her abs, bending down to press feather light kisses across her collarbone, tongue darting out to flick across the H tattoo on her sternum as she exhaled and tangled a hand in your hair, tugging your head up and into her neck.
"niña buena." the striker sighed as your hands finally found her chest and squeezing right as your lips sucked your own mark into her neck, normally not something your wife so easily allowed but too distracted by your hands kneading away at her chest to stop you.
but right as sudden as everything had started, in true hermoso fashion it was just as quick to stop, your hands grabbing onto her shoulders with a cry of surprise as suddenly she stood and hauled you up with her, legs wrapped around your waist.
"jenni no no no por favor amor i washed my hair last night!" you begged and tried to get down as you quickly realised what was happening.
but all you got in reply was a grin as you held your breath and your wife launched the two of you off the edge, icy water engulfing your body as her long tattooed legs hit the bottom and pushed off, the pair of you resurfacing as you coughed and spluttered slightly in shock.
"you looked hot cari, just wanted to cool you down." the brunette teased still holding tightly onto you as you smacked her forehead with a huff.
"estúpido idiota!" you hit her shoulder as she only laughed, pushing over to a more shallow spot where she could stand a little taller, hands squeezing at your ass in a silent attempt at an apology.
"pero tu estúpido idiota." jenni cooed with a smile that was softer, kissing your lips slowly and sweetly as your anger melted away, really unable to stay mad at the endearingly dopey grin on her face as she pushed a wet strand of hair out of your face with a lovesick glint in her eyes.
"well lo siento mucho but you are stuck with me forever and ever and ever now mrs hermoso."

Also i am obsessed with your fucked up son. Kay i ask why hero is Like That. Was it a programming error? He was meant to be the "friend", right, but even before the fall he was weirdly violent.
I just want to know more about him. Whats going on in his fucked up little head
I’m obsessed with him too. I love him and i cry so much about him here’s why:
Since Hero was the first, he has quite a few errors in his design, both in his hardware (body) and software (brain and tablet of information).
He does not have any internal concept of empathy and doesn’t fully understand the concept that other creatures think and live. This caused him to accidentally kill some of the animals introduced into the Garden because he didn’t understand that he was hurting them. HOWEVER — he only became purposefully violent AFTER he faced considerable abuse from the authority figures around him (guards, scientists, Rana herself, and white eyes).
Very important distinction because his lack of empathy was not what drove him to act aggressively, and it’s important to note that a lack of empathy does not mean someone is dangerous, conniving or violent, it just simply means that they don’t feel the sensation of empathy. You are free to interpret any of the abio characters as you like, but it is my personal belief Hero is not fully at fault for the violence he displays… I’ll explain why;
The violence Hero displayed was merely him, a person very new to the world, parroting the abusive behaviour shown towards him, and his way of trying to process emotions that he was not familiar with such as jealousy (towards the other players), fear of obsolescence and misery at the lack of autonomy and respect he is showed. Hero was in a position where he had no power over himself and was physically, emotionally and mentally dependent on authority figures that did not see him as an equal or a as a fully realized being. For example Hero is unable to will himself to eat without being commanded to by an authority figure (he is anorexic — does not feel hunger) so you can probably see how this puts him in a vulnerable position.
Basically he began to lash out at anyone he could lash out at, whether that be animals or the other players. He could not bear the thought of placing the blame on the authorities of his life because then his whole world would fall apart, so he instead shifts the blame on those in the same position as him (Alex, steve and two others, Jane and Ed, who would then become “null” and “entity 303”) convincing himself that they are malicious and want to replace him (when in reality they are basically robot infants).
Then, there was the influence from White Eyes. I’ve previously stated that White Eyes was a void entity but I’ve changed that after a friend suggested it to me and i got hooked on the idea. She’s another test subject, an unstable experiment born from trying to fuse living corporeal matter and void matter (basically she’s an enderman human and various animals hybrid). White Eyes is constantly in pain and this has made her a very vindictive and aggressive being. All voidborn beings have psionic influence and White Eyes has this as well, however it’s not as fine tuned as a natural voidborn like an enderman. Hers is more like an influence. White Eyes rubbed off on Hero, and while she was increasingly immobilized by her dying body, Hero would follow her commands and absorb her emotions like a sponge. They had a very close bond but it was very unhealthy. This was another factor that caused him to commit violent acts.
Anyway, that’s some abiogenesis hero lore for you.

if you are still doing requests could you write some more shockwave x reader? I really liked the human lover stuff you've written with him
I am vibrating rn I’m so happy!! Shockwave is my most favorite character. Like I’ve never been so obsessed with a character before so I’m glad you like my writing for him AND want more :DDD
Shockwave x Reader, racially ambiguous, gender neutral, fluff, play fighting, reader gets put in air jail
Shockwave lounged on his berth in a rare chance of free time yet still in his servo was a datapad with research papers pertaining to his current project. His optic scanned over the words as he mumbled out soft “logical,” and “illogical,” to various parts of whichever paper he was reading.
It was honestly cute watching him. To pretty much everyone, Autobot or Decepticon, hearing Shockwave in the same sentence as cute would make any bot do a double take. However to you, the little human curled up against his neck as you reclined on his protruding chasis, Shockwave was actually fairly adorable.
You pretended to know what the Cybertronian letters meant and even in your native language you doubt you’d understand what he was reading anyway. While this activity of simply cuddling your robotic lover kept you entertained for a while, you were starting to get bored and Shockwave’s helm was looking awfully kissable.
The way his audials moved and twitched so subtly. You ended up running your hand along the metal antenna; cool to the touch and shiny like most of Shockwave.
“Cease your current actions,” Shockwave said without taking his attention away from his datapad.
“Oh so you get to grope me and pick me up like a doll but I can’t pet you?” You teased. Shockwave tended to be fairly handsy with you and he very much enjoyed manhandling your much smaller form.
“Correct,” Shockwave shot back peaking at you out of the corner of his optic.
“Boo!” You pout while crossing your arms. “If you get to grab my butt then I should be able to pet your audials.”
Shockwave couldn’t help the amused exvent that came out of him. He turned his helm so he was facing you. The yellow glow of his optic casted a soft light on your form. “From previous experience you never seemed to mind when I handled you.” You knew that if Shockwave had a face he’d be smirking and you know you’d want to slap that smirk off his face.
“Shush!” You say pushing your hands against his optic in an attempt to make him look away from your now flustered state. “Your strength isn’t enough to move me,” Shockwave sounded too pleased with his observation. “You’re wasting your energy trying.”
You huffed letting your body slump against his helm with your arms around his neck cabling. Your cheek was squished against the screen of his optic as you continued your dramatics.
“No fair,” you grumbled.
Shockwave set his datapad on his lap so he could move his servo to pet at your head. You huffed hiding your face against his helm as his large digits stroked at your hair. “You are persistent in your dramatics,” Shockwave teased. “You may continue your previous actions if you makre sure not to distract me.”
You perked up at Shockwave’s offer.
The mech gave your head on last stroke before returning to holding his datapad in his servo with his canon supporting the back of the device as he read.
You scrambled to kneel on his chasis so you could get a better view of your lover. His attention was now focused on his datapad once more but you knew he could see all of your movements out of the corner of his optic.
You ran your hand down his helm stroking the metal lovingly. If Shockwave had the audacity to tease you earlier then you were going to rile him up.
You pressed soft kisses along the metal of his cyclopian helm until you reached his audial again. Shockwave only hummed in acknowledgment of your welcomed actions. Your lips slid along his antenna earning a shiver from the mech.
“Do not distract me,” Shockwave warned.
You only giggled in response.
“You know you’re so handsome, right?” You purr running your hands along the underside of his helm. Shockwave tilted his optic up to give your hands more room but didn’t say anything in response. You continued pressing kisses to his helm as your hands wandered over the metal. “So big and strong,” you continued your praises. “So effortlessly smart.” You felt Shockwave rumble under your attention but his focus remained on his datapad.
You kissed along his helm once again.
“My Shockwave,” you purred against the base of his audial antenna. Shockwave’s audials twitched and flicked in response.
You stuck your tongue out to drag along Shockwave’s antenna. The second Shockwave felt the wetness of your saliva his helm snapped to look at you almost making you tumblr and fall off his shoulder. His optic was like a pinpoint as he focused on you. You couldn’t help but break out in laughter at Shockwave’s annoyance.
“You test my patience, sweet spark,” Shockwave warned. You continued to laugh until you felt Shockwave’s digits pinch your waist and lift you off his shoulder.
“WAH! Hey!” You exclaimed scrambling around for a place to grab onto.
Using his canon arm, Shockwave slid his datapad off of his lap and onto the berth so he could get up. His head metal pedes made a clanking noise when they hit the floor. You continued reaching out to grab at Shockwave’s servo.
He seemed all too pleased when he made it over to his shelf consisting of various pictures of you two and knicknacks you had gotten him. Reaching his arm up, he dumped you on the top shelf.
“You may come down when I am finished,” you wanted to strangle the amusement out of his vocalizer.
“Hey! Don’t leave me up here, asshole!” You shook your fist at your partner as you sat on your knees with your other hand supporting your weight on the shelf.
“For your obscene language and name calling, I think I will leave you up there through my recharge cycle,” Shockwave’s audials twitched in amusement. He was all too pleased to use his size against you during your play fights.
“Nooo!!” You called back with a whine. “What if I have to pee!”
“I’ll bring you a litter box when I’m finished.”
“I’m not a cat!” You snapped back offended at his offer.
“Did you not enjoy being referred to as my pet, kitten?”
That was it. You took your shoe off and chucked it at the purple mech. You missed by a long shot having your shoe fall a couple inches from the shelf.
You pouted when you heard the unmistakable shaky exvent that was the closest thing Shockwave did to laughter.
“I’ll retrieve you once I am finished,” Shockwave teased as he returned to his datapad.
You grumbled flopping into the corner of the shelf with your one shoeless foot crossed under you. Despite your apparent annoyance with your situation you couldn’t help the smile on your face when you looked over at Shockwave.

The 7 deadly sins
Using emotions to manifest your desires

Disclaimer: the following statements are merely for entertainment purposes. You do not have to follow any of the advice mentioned in this post. It may contain toxic tips and tricks.
No matter how long you've been a part of the law of assumption community, you must have , at one point, heard the statement: " Feelings do not manifest." I am by no means writing this today to negate that statement because it is simply true. I'm only here to suggest a different approach.
Throughout history, and thanks to the rise of certain religions and schools of thought, feelings and emotions have been separated into two categories: positive and negative. Negative emotions then became equal to sins, blamed for humanity's downfall and accused of being the root of all evil.
Spirituality, on the other hand, refrains from such a divide. All feelings are valid and all emotions are part of the human experience. No feeling is bad or negative or "sinful" and every emotion deserves to be felt and honored as a part of life.
So, what does that have to do with manifestation?
Let's break it down:
Law of assumption decrees that your thoughts create your reality, meaning than in order to get what you desire, you need to focus on your assumptions. But does that mean you have to repress all of your feelings, turn yourself into an emotionless robot and live your life through a calculating, unfeeling lense?
Absolutely not. As I have previously stated, emotions are an integral part of the human experience, and they demand to be felt if you were to stand a chance of a healthy life. And because there is no such thing as a negative emotion, here is how to integrate the seven deadly sins into your manifestation routine.

Pride: arguably one of the most infamous sins, pride is associated with the fall of the Great. Cautionary tales about humility are always spread around campfires, urging people to never let their pride get the best of them lest they fall and lose everything they have. But that's not what we're doing today, in order to manifest your wildest dreams, your pride must be alive and thriving. Associate it with a strong self-concept, simply refuse to bow down to anyone or anything, and never see yourself as less than anybody else. You are the creator of your reality, the god that commands everything around you. Your power is your own to use however you please and your reality must and will bend to your desires. Why would you let anyone tell you what you can and can't have in your own reality? Why would you put anyone above yourself? This is your world, and everyone else is just living in it. A healthy pride will allow you to understand your true power, and to refuse to settle for less than what you deserve.

Lust: my favorite "sin" when it comes to getting everything you've ever wanted. If your desire is to get the attention, admiration, and worship of everyone you have ever met, if you crave to have men fall at your feet, if you want to be so famous everyone on the planet knows your name, you need to use people's lust against them. Humans are predictable creatures, men especially so, so if your desire is to become an icon and to have an army of fans ready to throw their lives on the line for you, lust is your best friend. We see it in media everyday, with big names utilizing subtle yet powerful techniques to make everyone fall for them. Dress, act, speak, walk, and stand like the Goddess (or god) that you are. Invite that alluring siren energy into your life, speak like you have honey on your tongue and walk into a room like you own the place. Become an icon and watch as everyone around you becomes obsessed with pleasing you. (You do not have to engage in sexual acts if you're not comfortable with that. Even the promise of sex will turn them into clay.)
Greed: always looked down upon, greed is considered the worst human trait of all times. You cannot want too much, you cannot ask for too much, you have to settle for what you have and be grateful. Why? Why can't you want more? Why can't you know that you deserve better and never settle for anything less than exactly what you want and so much more? The world is yours and settling for anything less is pathetic. What you want is yours right now, so why should you be happy with bread crumbs when you can have the entire cake? You can always have more, you can always get bigger and better things. Do not drive yourself crazy, of course, use your discernment but never settle. Resources are infinite, money never ends, and everything you want already exists. If more makes you happy, then go get it!

Wrath: I used to say that if I were one of the seven deadly sins, I would be wrath. Everyone always made it seem that anger was one of the worst human emotions ever and that it never ends well for the angry person. But I'm here to tell you now that that was just an excuse to keep you from standing up to the people who hurt you. Because how come everyone can do whatever they want to do to you but the second you get angry and fight back you're the bad guy? Use your anger to manifest your desires. If your current reality is not up to your standards, if your 3D is not showing you exactly what you want, be angry about it. Use rampaging and ranting and venting and let it all out and demand to be heard because you are the universe. There is no need to suppress your wrath and drown yourself in fake gratitude and humility in order to get what you deserve. If you're angry then feel angry, no one can take your anger away from you except for you and how do you do that? by getting everything you've ever wanted.
Gluttony: I'm guessing that you can already tell what I'm about to say. Gluttony is defined as this insatiable need for overconsumption and over indulgence to the point of waste. You need to be a glutton for your desires. And no, I'm not saying over-consume tips and tricks here on LOA Tumblr, you already have enough knowledge under your belt to manifest everything you desire. I am saying however, that when you're complaining about not having what you want you are a glutton for despair and misery. Turn that around and use this to your advantage. Become a glutton for power. You have the key to the universe in your hands, are you going to throw it away and continue wondering why you don't have everything you want, or are you going to use it and manifest your wildest dreams?

Envy: nobody deserves it more than you.
If you see someone else living the life you want, having everything you've ever desired before, going out with your SP, or even having your dream job, you need to remind yourself that it does not mean you do not deserve any of those things. Jealousy is a perfectly human emotion and wanting what other people have is not an indication of failure. You can have all of those things and more, so use your jealousy to fuel you. Of course, that does not mean go out and try to ruin everybody else's life, it means go inward and focus on what you want so you can have it. You sp is yours, that job is yours, that degree is yours... you deserve everything and more and just because someone else has it right now doesn't mean you're never going to get it.
Sloth: you do not have to lift a finger to get everything you've ever wanted. Yes, you can indeed sit pretty and watch as everything comes to you. All you have to do is control your thoughts, be stubborn about what you deserve, and make your affirmations the dominant thought process in your brain. You do not need to take action, you do not need to get out of your way to get something, you do not need to chase anything. You can just relax, enjoy life, and expect to be handed everything on a silver platter.
This was such a fun post! I hope you enjoyed reading it, and remember, this is only for your enjoyment 😉
You do not need to take any of this advice if it doesn't resonate with you or if it goes against your beliefs, feel free to disregard this whole thing. This is not a manual for manifestation, it is simply something I cooked up in my brain because I was feeling a little toxic.
Happy manifesting ❤️

Hii again !
There is characters i knew for years that when i'll truly discover them (in movies or series) i'll be obsessed. Loki is part of this, but Bucky too ! And i recently watch the Captain America movies (I'm a Marvel fan since my childhood but i hate Steve, so i just watch for Bucky 🥸). And now, I'm wondering how Bucky would react to the first time seeing a ftm person. Right after he remembers a bit of his past life
Thanks for reading me ;) i hope you're feeling well 🎀
The Understanding
Pairings: Bucky Barnes x FtM reader
Summary: Bucky could never wrap his head around how different everything was especially when it came to you.
A/n: Ahh I love the idea of him getting used to everything after what happened with Hyrda, plus the opportunity to do something cute with this idea! Incredibly validating to only watch for Bucky. Also thank you for the concern, I am doing better <3

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
The city lights blurred into a kaleidoscope of colors through the panoramic windows of Avengers Tower. Bucky, perched on a windowsill, ran a hand through his already disheveled hair, the strands clinging to his damp forehead. The night sky, usually a source of solace, offered no comfort tonight. It was a mirror reflecting the turmoil within him. Months had passed since the incident, yet the weight of his past and the confusion of the present pressed down on him like an inescapable gravity.
Sleep had become a fleeting visitor, replaced by a relentless cycle of intrusive thoughts. Images from his past – the war, the HYDRA experiments, the agonizing memories of loss – would flicker through his mind, followed by the unsettling questions of the present. Who was he now? How was he supposed to navigate this complex world when his own understanding of himself felt so fragile?
Then there was him. The young man who worked alongside Bruce, a whirlwind of vibrant energy and quiet confidence. Bucky would catch glimpses of him in the lab, his movements fluid and graceful, a stark contrast to the stiff, almost robotic movements that had become ingrained in him during his time with HYDRA. He'd overheard a conversation between Bruce and the young man, a conversation laced with vulnerability and a quiet desperation. Bruce, his voice laced with concern, was urging him to be cautious, to prioritize his safety while wearing a binder. He mentioned "trans tape," a term that was completely foreign to Bucky.
Growing up in a world where conformity was enforced with an iron fist, where anything outside the rigid norms of masculinity was met with scorn and violence, Bucky had learned to suppress his curiosity. He had built walls around himself, walls reinforced by fear and a deeply ingrained sense of what was "right." His initial encounters with the young man had been marked by awkward silences and unintentional microaggressions, fueled by his own ignorance and the lingering shadows of his past.
The guilt gnawed at him now, a constant, aching reminder of his own shortcomings. He had hurt someone he barely knew, simply because he lacked the understanding, the empathy, to see beyond his own limited worldview. He imagined the young man, his spirit dimmed by the weight of prejudice, forced to navigate a world that constantly questioned his identity.
A faint glow from the living room pulled him from his reverie. Tony, no doubt, burning the midnight oil. But as Bucky approached, he saw not Tony, but the young man, curled up on the couch, a melancholic movie playing on the screen. He was staring intently at the screen, a desolate expression etched on his face.
"Hey," Bucky called out, his voice hesitant. "Seat taken?"
The young man looked up, a flicker of surprise in his eyes, followed by a weary smile. "No, all yours, big guy."
An awkward silence followed, punctuated only by the sounds of the movie. Bucky shifted uncomfortably, unsure of how to bridge the chasm between them. Finally, the young man spoke, his voice barely a whisper. "You could at least ask if you don't understand."
Bucky's breath hitched. "I-"
The young man turned to him, his cheeks flushed. "I understand that this..." he gestured vaguely around them, "isn't what you grew up with, Bucky. But you could at least try to understand, or... or ask if you don't." His voice cracked, frustration bubbling beneath the surface.
Bucky was paralyzed by indecision. Did he retreat, allow his fear and prejudice to dictate his actions? Or did he finally acknowledge the stirring within him, the burgeoning desire to understand, to connect?
"Explain it to me," he finally managed, his voice rough with emotion.
The young man seemed genuinely surprised. He had expected the usual dismissive comments, the same tired platitudes that had echoed through his life. "It's not like I chose to be this way," he began, his voice trembling. "I wouldn't choose to make my life a living hell, to be called slurs, to be abandoned by the people I love, just because I want to be happy." He paused, his gaze dropping to the floor. "Everything has an explanation, but people don't want to listen when one is provided."
Bucky leaned forward, his eyes locked with the young man's. "I'm listening."
And so, the young man began to speak, his voice gaining strength with each passing word. He spoke of the agonizing dissonance between his internal identity and the expectations placed upon him by society. He spoke of the shame, the self-doubt, the constant battle to reconcile his true self with the world's narrow definition of what it meant to be a man. He spoke of the relief of finally finding acceptance, the joy of being seen and loved for who he truly was.
Bucky listened intently, the weight of the young man's words washing over him. He began to understand, not just intellectually, but on an emotional level. He understood the pain of being forced to conform, the suffocating weight of societal expectations, the profound loneliness of living a life that felt fundamentally inauthentic.
"I'm so sorry," Bucky whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "I didn't know."
The young man looked at him, his eyes searching. "I didn't expect you to," he admitted, his voice softening. "It just... it hurt, hearing someone I... I thought I could trust say those things."
Bucky reached out, his hand hovering over the young man's shoulder. "I wish I knew sooner."
The young man turned to him, his eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and hope. Bucky gently placed his hand on the young man's shoulder, offering a silent apology, a silent promise to do better. And as he sat there, enveloped in the quiet comfort of shared vulnerability, Bucky realized that this was just the beginning. The beginning of understanding, of healing, of a connection, maybe even something more that transcended the superficial and delved into the depths of their shared humanity.

So in july this year I got into LOA and got in a vicious cycle of overconsumption for half a month but then I saw a taylor tookie's video and manifested my desired grades within a week just by robotically affirming and the other one in 4 days even after reacting to 3D like I was literally crying but then I could not manifest anything for a month but then I found out about void and tumbler and again got into thus vicious cycle of overconsumption and cried a lot but then I again saw taylor's videos that she posted this month and I swear I manifested The shit in hours
We are in law of assumption community but it doesn't seems like we are in it but in the methods like here on tumbler, youtube it is all about methods like if you do this you will get this and all the shit.
I don't even resonate with having it in 4D because I follow LOA that suggests what we assume to be TRUE is TRUE and we make assumption by simply saying we are going to have it or we have it now without contradicting ourselves literally it is just that simple
And if you doubt me then go to TAYLOR TOOKIES channel and read the comments under her videos that are uploaded this month and you will belive me
I wanted to share this with someone who is well known in this community so that my message can reach the greater audience as I am not a blogger that's The reason I send this to you because you give one of best advices to people on this community and I personally love your posts and you as a blogger
Bye bye ❤️
yes 😎 i agree, the law isn’t transactional, it’s not “do this method and get this” you have it already!!! although you should be resonating with your 4d as that’s what manifestation is all about
i feel like all communities on each app ESPECIALLY tiktok (in my opinion, you shouldn’t be there for advice on anything loa, void or shifting i just go on it for fun), are so method obsessed it’s crazy
assume you have it in your 4d it’s done, your desire appearing in the 3d is just a byproduct, the cherry on top if you will. Methods don’t help you get to your destination, you’ve already reached your destination, methods just help remind you that you’re there.

Ooooooohhhhhhh now I gotta ask you to get in depth about the worst aspects of a yandere AK Eddie. (Gn) reader not even really reciprocating 'cause they just see him as a friend, the riddles freaking them out, trying to leave him for at least a while, being put in a cage.. all that good stuff. A fic or headcanons please, whichever you want to do. Thanks 💚
Well, you want the worst of our dearest Eddie? I'm more than happy to oblige! I hope that you enjoy it!
Caged and Riddled.
(Arkham Games) Edward Nigma x GN!Reader.
(Declaimer: I don't condone or approve of the actions taken in this story. It is purely a work of fiction.)
Word Count: 715.
Contents: Obsessive Behavior, Possessive Behavior.
It had all started simple enough. Sometimes, Eddie could act a bit... strange in your eyes, obsessive and perhaps even a bit possessive at times, but you usually thought nothing of it. At least... until he started leaving those riddles for you. You had been used to getting his riddles before, so originally, it was nothing new, but eventually they changed in tone... and it made you feel nervous.
You tried to just ignore the riddles. Maybe Eddie was just going through some weird slump, and that was causing it? Yeah, that had to be it. But once you realized that there was definitely a romantic and sexual undertone to some of his behavior, you tried to let him down easy. Eddie was an extremely intelligent man. He'd surely understand that you just didn't see him that way.
"Listen, Mr Nigma, sir, it's nothing personal.... but I just view you as a friend and boss, you know?"
"......i... see..... how interesting..."
Overall, he wasn't screaming or throwing a fit at your statement, so you took that as a great sign... which was a horrible oversight on your part. He was simply choosing to wait and think this through, thinking of the most ideal way to make you realize how foolish you were being....
You were infuriated when you opened your dresser only to find every article of clothing you owned covered in stupid question marks! You angrily marched into Eddie's workshop, slamming your hands down on his desk.
"What the hell is this, Eddie?!"
"Hmm? I'm simply just staking my claim, making it known to the various gutter rats of this city that you belong to me. Is that really such an outlandish thing?"
"B-belong to you?! I don't belong to you! This is ridiculous!"
Later that night, you decided you'd had enough of how Eddie had been acting recently and packed up everything you could and left his lair.... or at least you tried to. You got about 15 minutes away from there before you were ambushed by one of his latest robotic contraptions and dragged back to his lair, where you were immediately met with the sight of a frantic and incredibly worried and annoyed Riddler.
"Ah! There you are! Now.... I can't believe that you'd be foolish enough to actually try and run away from me! Am I not good enough for you?! I provide you a place to sleep, food, clothes, and anything else you need!"
"You can't keep me here! In fact.... I quit!"
He went dead silent. His expression became neutral and blank for a moment before turning into a smug grin.
"Oh, that's where you're wrong, my dear! You can't fucking quit! It's in the damn contract that you willingly signed without reading...."
You let out a confused and surprised squeal as you're thrown into a fairly large cage next to his workbench he usually sits at. There's a fluffy and soft blanket lining the bottom, so it's not as uncomfortable as it could be, but it's still a cage! He holds the contract in front of the cage, pointing towards the part he wants you to look closely at. Sure enough, right there it is. It can't be ethical, but it's written there.... By signing this agreement, then you're accepting that you're not allowed to quit while I, The Riddler, your employer, has use for you.
"T-that can't be legal!"
"....You're working for a supervillain. How is anything about your employment legal? Hmm?"
You go quiet.... damn it, he had a point. He went back to working on his latest project.
"Now... if you behave yourself in there, then I might allow you to actually sleep in your bed instead of the cage tonight. Is that what you want?"
You nodded reluctantly. You'd find a way out of this eventually, but for now, it was best to follow along without much question. He stared at you for a second, his smug grin growing even more ecstatic as he leaned closer to the cage.
"Perfect.... now, I want you to repeat something for me.... Say, "I love you so much, Eddie..."... if you do, then I might just reduce the amount of time you have to stay in the cage overall!"
".....I... I love you so much.... Eddie..."

♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ ℝ𝕠𝕓𝕠-ℝ𝕦𝕚 ₊˚ˑ༄
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ @sucodelaranja86 request: UHI DONT KNOW IF ITS STILL OPEN BUT IF YES
Rui who gives a mini robo-rui for his s/o 🙏
(yes i am still obsessed with that)
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ DW I GOT YOUUU
I swear I loved writing it >w< Hopefully you'll like it a bit too!!
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ fluff
Rui has been acting really weird recently... sure, he is a little special snowflake naturally which you loved about him, but he's been even weirder than he usually is!
Because why is he so persistant on coming into his room first and panickly runs around whenever you visit him? And one day you even caught him putting some planket over... something... you have no idea what that is, since you never got clear look at it. But you were sure of one thing... he was hiding something.
Tho one day, you finally caught something more...
It started by him casually running into his room before you even get closer to the door and covering something with the blanket, fixing it by the time you entered, as if making sure you won't be able to see anything.
"What are you hiding there?"
"I told you before, you'll get to know that soon enough!"
"You said the same thing week ago..."
"It's simply... not ready yet."
You just sighed and made yourself comfy on his couch. Whatever was under that blanket cleaerly still on your mind, as you tried to figure out what it could be by looking at whatever was inside.
"Fufu~ Don't think about it too much..."
"Why's there 2 yellow lights?"
"Huh-?"
Looking back at the blanket, he noticed 2 gold lights that were still visible through materials... and he knows he got himself a problem right here, since he has to turn it off before it overheats... but you're also here...
"Darling... may I ask you to... turn around?"
He scratched the back of his neck, a bit nervous and embarrassed he had to ask you to do something like that just because of his mistake.
"Oh no, I'm getting to know what it is. It's about time after what... 3 weeks?"
"2 and a half..."
Boy sighed to himself, letting his hands drop to his side. His eyes looking for any sign of cooperation from you, yet your crossed arms were a clear sign to him... you weren't about to back away...
"Alright... just... please keep in mind I'm not sure about it yet..."
"It's okey!"
You reassured already excited to see what he was hiding for so long!
Once he lifted the blanket, you saw... Robo-Rui? It looks like it... it's similiar to Robo-Nene from the s tyle it's built, but it looks like Rui instead of looking like Nene...
"Is this..."
"Heh~ You said so many times you'd love a Robo-Me... and since our anniversary is coming up... I thought you may like it..."
He was clearly flustered now. As if not sure if you'll thank him or call him a weirdo for what he did.
"Seriously?! I love it!!"
But luckily for him, your eyes were already sparkling with happines once you saw the robot and heard why he made it! Giving him a big reassuring hug, which he gladly took and let his arms relax.
"Hm~ Well... would you like to see few options? I can't let you take it since it's 99% safe, and... I'd prefer to not risk with that 1%..."
"Oh asbolutely! I'll gladly see whatever you have to show me!"
"Well, my dear... you already saw the lights, which I planned to be a little source of light for you at all times or even to scare off some people when you put it in the dark~"
"Haha~ Of course you had that idea..."
"Can you blame me? But! There's also like... 12 other functions of which 10 are ready, and today, I'll be showing you... 6!"
He was clearly not a lot calmer as he explained and showed you few functions of the Robo-Rui, not wanting to show you all, so you'd still have some stuff to discover on your own when he finally gives it to you!

My Analysis of Voltron: Legendary Defender and Its Legacy - in Particular Regards to Keith and Lotor.
My father introduced me to Voltron: Defender of the Universe when I was four years old, around 2010, because he grew up with it in the 80s. Voltron became my first real obsession. When I was about ten, DreamWorks announced that they would be partnering with Netflix to remake my favourite show. Naturally, I was excited. But when I finally watched Voltron: Legendary Defender (LD), I was confused.
At the time, I didn’t know about Beast King GoLion, so I was full of questions: Who’s Shiro? Where’s Sven? Why did they change Arus to Altea? Why isn’t Keith in the Black Lion? I cannot tell you how furious ten-year-old me was when I discovered they had given the Voltron Force the “wrong” Lions (Lance in Blue? Preposterous). After Season One, I actually quit watching because it felt so far removed from what I knew (they made Pidge a girl? How dare they!). It wasn’t until Season Eight had already been released for quite some time that I went back to give it another go. It was… alright.
I’m not new to Voltron, but I am new to fandom, and Tumblr—only recently realising that you can talk to people about your interests over the internet instead of just in the schoolyard (my friends got so bored of me talking about Voltron). So what I’m about to discuss may already be old news, but these are my thoughts on Legendary Defender and how it compares to Voltron’s legacy.
The Role of the Black Lion and Leadership
Whilst scouring the tags, I’ve seen a recurring debate within the Voltron fandom regarding whether Keith should have been in the Black Lion or gone back to Red. Some argue that he was unfit for the position, but this perspective overlooks the franchise’s long-standing tradition. Since Defender of the Universe in the 1980s, Keith has been the Black Lion’s pilot and the leader of the team. The Black Lion has always been the heart of Voltron, piloted by the one who holds the team together and leads them into battle.

To claim Keith isn’t fit for the Black Lion is to disregard not only his character arc but also the very structure of Voltron as a franchise. From the very beginning, Keith has been the pilot of the Black Lion, just as Optimus Prime has always been the bearer of the Matrix of Leadership in Transformers. The Black Lion choosing Keith in Legendary Defender is a natural continuation of a forty-year tradition, not a sudden or undeserved shift.
However, LD wrote itself into a corner by bringing Shiro back and sidelining Keith for almost two seasons. While this allowed for Krolia’s introduction and the addition of the space wolf, which I enjoyed, it disrupted Keith’s development as a leader. Instead of organically growing into his role, Keith’s transition to leadership felt abrupt and underdeveloped. Previous versions of Voltron, such as Defender of the Universe and Voltron Force, dedicated time to showcasing Keith’s leadership qualities, making his role as the Black Lion’s pilot feel more natural. By contrast, LD’s decision to remove him from the team for an extended period created an inconsistent leadership structure that ultimately weakened his arc.
The Absence of Voltron in Voltron

One of my biggest issues with Voltron: Legendary Defender is how little the titular ‘character’ actually appears in the show. There are entire story arcs where the audience goes multiple episodes without seeing Voltron at all. This is a stark contrast to the previous Voltron series, where the lion mechs formed Voltron at least once per episode, making the giant robot a central and consistent presence.
After reading Bob Koplar’s opinions on LD, I find myself agreeing with him. Even though I was quite young when Legendary Defender first came out, I had already seen all the previous Voltron series thanks to my father. Even then, something about LD felt off to me. It wasn’t until I read Koplar’s insights that I fully understood why—it simply didn’t feel like Voltron.
And to be clear, I’m not saying Legendary Defender is a bad show. It’s a well-produced series with high-quality animation, a solid voice cast, and some genuinely good storytelling. It also brought more awareness to a brand I love, introducing a new generation of fans to Voltron. But despite its strengths, it often felt disconnected from the essence of what made Voltron special.
In every previous iteration, forming Voltron wasn’t just a moment of spectacle—it was a core part of the show’s identity. The lions coming together, the transformation sequence, the blazing sword—these weren’t just iconic visuals; they were essential to the Voltron experience. In LD, however, Voltron often felt secondary to character-driven subplots and political intrigue, which, while interesting (most of the time), took focus away from the giant robot action that defined the franchise.
The Absence of Vehicle Voltron

Voltron: Legendary Defender was marketed as a love letter to everything that came before it—a grand tribute to the Voltron legacy. But in reality, it wasn’t.
Of course, Lion Force Voltron (adapted from Beast King GoLion) is the most well-known and beloved version of the franchise, so it makes sense that LD focused on it. But if the goal was truly to unite all Voltron ideas under one roof, then why was Vehicle Voltron (Armored Fleet Dairugger XV) completely ignored?
I understand that Vehicle Voltron is more obscure, but it was still an essential part of Voltron's history. The original plan for Voltron as a franchise was that there would be three Voltrons:
Defender of the Far Universe (Lion Force),
Defender of the Middle Universe (Vehicle Voltron),
Defender of the Near Universe (Gladiator Voltron, based on Lightspeed Electroid Albegas).
However, after Vehicle Voltron proved less popular, instead of introducing Gladiator Voltron as planned, World Events Productions doubled down on Lion Force Voltron with a second season and a TV movie, Fleet of Doom. That movie featured both Lion and Vehicle Voltron teaming up, and it remains one of the most awesome moments in Voltron's history.

If LD had truly been a love letter to Voltron, it would have acknowledged all of Voltron, not just Lion Force. It would have recognised the legacy of Vehicle Voltron and drawn from its rich history instead of awkwardly repurposing its best elements. Instead, the show attempted to reinvent Voltron while sidelining key parts of its past, losing much of what made Voltron special in the first place.
Lotor’s Redefinition: A Flawed but Ambitious Adaptation
Lotor’s characterisation in Legendary Defender marks a significant departure from his portrayal in Defender of the Universe. In DotU, Prince Lotor is a sadistic, irredeemable villain. He was a brutal conqueror, a mass murderer and a serial rapist. He saw Allura as a prize rather than a person. His cruelty extended even to his own subordinates, reinforcing his role as an unambiguous antagonist.
LD, however, attempted a more complex interpretation of Lotor, depicting him as a strategic manipulator with seemingly noble intentions. He positioned himself as a reformer of the Galra Empire, standing in opposition to Zarkon’s tyranny. This reimagining was ambitious, but the execution faltered. His eventual descent into villainy in Season 6 felt rushed, as though the writers were unsure whether to portray him as a tragic anti-hero or a monstrous antagonist.
This brings me to another major problem with Legendary Defender’s handling of Lotor. If the writers wanted to create a sympathetic, deserter, reluctant ally figure, then Lotor was the wrong character to use. In Defender of the Universe, Lotor is a sadistic, cruel warlord obsessed with conquest and domination, especially when it comes to Allura. He was never a misunderstood antihero—he was pure villainy.
A far better choice for this arc would have been Commander Hazar from Vehicle Voltron. Hazar was the noble commander of the Drule forces, who realised that his people’s war against the Galaxy Alliance was doomed and sought a peaceful resolution. He had a compelling redemption arc, going from enemy to ally as he struggled against the more ruthless elements of his own empire. But instead of introducing Hazar, LD simply took his story and gave it to Lotor—likely because Lotor was the more recognisable character.

This ultimately backfired. While a sympathetic or morally ambiguous take on Lotor could have been compelling, the series failed to develop him in a consistent manner. Instead of an outright sadistic monster, LD initially portrayed him as a cunning, strategic manipulator who appeared to have noble intentions—at least on the surface. He positioned himself as a reformer of the Galra Empire, criticising Zarkon’s rule and striving for a different vision of leadership. He surrounded himself with female generals whom he treated with apparent respect, further distinguishing him from his DotU counterpart. This version of Lotor was crafted to be more sympathetic, even charismatic, to the point that Allura herself developed feelings for him, a massive departure from the horror and revulsion she held toward him in DotU.
However, the execution of Legendary Defender’s Lotor was deeply flawed. The narrative spent seasons portraying him as a potential ally, only to suddenly reveal in Season 6 that he was not only unhinged but had been engaging in horrific experiments on Alteans. His villain turn felt rushed and unearned as if the writers couldn’t decide whether they wanted him to be a tragic anti-hero or an irredeemable monster. This abrupt shift wasn’t organic—it was the result of executive intervention. According to reports, when Bob Koplar (who oversees Voltron at World Events Productions) found out the writers were trying to make Lotor good, he stepped in and pushed them to course-correct, leading to Lotor’s sudden descent into madness and atrocities.
By trying to blend Lotor and Hazar into one character, LD weakened both. Lotor lost the defining villainy that made him iconic in past series, while Hazar’s compelling redemption story was distorted by being attached to a character with too much villainous baggage. LD wanted Lotor to be both the misunderstood antihero and the ultimate evil, but in trying to have it both ways, they ruined the integrity of his arc. The greatest casualty of Lotor’s inconsistent characterisation was Allura’s arc. Instead of developing their dynamic meaningfully, the show oscillated between presenting Lotor as sympathetic and suddenly making him irredeemably evil. In DotU, Allura despised Lotor and stood firmly against his advances, representing strength and defiance in the face of oppression. In LD, she was manipulated into trusting and even falling for him, which not only contradicted her instincts as a leader but also made her later grief and anger feel hollow due to how abruptly the story shifted Lotor back into full villainy.
The Missed Opportunity of Keith and Lotor’s Rivalry in Legendary Defender

One of the biggest missteps in Voltron: Legendary Defender, I felt, was its failure to develop Keith and Lotor’s rivalry into a meaningful, ongoing conflict. In past incarnations, particularly Defender of the Universe (DotU), Lotor viewed Keith as his greatest obstacle—not just as Voltron’s leader, but as the one standing between him and Allura. He recognised that Allura harboured feelings for Keith, which fueled his hatred and provided some of the most compelling personal conflicts in the series.
In Legendary Defender, however, Keith was largely absent for two seasons, leaving little room for an adversarial relationship with Lotor. Instead of building on their natural opposition, the show reduced their interactions to a handful of confrontations, missing an opportunity to add depth to the overarching narrative. Had Keith remained with the team instead of leaving for the Blade of Marmora, his dynamic with Lotor could have taken one of two fascinating paths—either leading to a devastating betrayal or reinforcing Keith’s instincts as the voice of reason.
Keith Trusts Lotor Completely (and is Devastated by His Betrayal)
Had Keith stayed, he might have bonded with Lotor over their shared half-Galra heritage. Throughout Legendary Defender, Keith struggles with his identity, and without the Blades to guide him, he could have been drawn to someone who truly understood what it meant to exist between two worlds. Lotor presents himself as refined, strategic, and pragmatic—qualities that might have resonated with Keith as he tried to grow into his role as a leader.
With Shiro compromised by Haggar’s manipulation and Allura torn by grief and duty, Lotor could have positioned himself as Keith’s closest confidant, someone who could help him make sense of his Galra side rather than viewing it as something to suppress. This trust, however, would have made Lotor’s eventual betrayal all the more soul-crushing. It wouldn’t just be the loss of an ally—it would be the loss of the first person who made Keith feel like he didn’t have to choose between his human and Galra lineage. Given Keith’s history of abandonment—his mother leaving, his father’s death, and Shiro’s repeated disappearances—Lotor’s deception could have broken him in a way few other betrayals could.
Instead of reacting with pure anger, Keith’s devastation could have manifested as bitter disillusionment. No longer willing to trust easily, he might have hardened himself further, becoming even more closed-off and reluctant to open up. This would have been a poignant subversion of past Voltron incarnations, where Keith and Lotor were always enemies. In DotU and Voltron Force, there was never any question of them being on the same side—Lotor was a power-hungry prince, and Keith was the noble leader standing in his way. Legendary Defender could have played with audience expectations by making Keith believe Lotor was different, only to have that belief shattered.
Keith Doesn’t Trust Lotor at All (and Becomes the Voice of Reason)
On the other hand, Keith’s blunt, no-nonsense attitude and strong instincts might have made him the first to see through Lotor’s deception. Keith is an intuitive fighter—he acts on gut feelings, and more often than not, those instincts are correct. He was the first to suspect something was wrong with Shiro, the first to push for finding the Blade of Marmora, and the first to embrace his Galra heritage when others hesitated. If Keith had remained with the Paladins, he might have immediately sensed that Lotor wasn’t as noble as he claimed.
This would have led to a compelling internal conflict within the team. Shiro (or rather, his clone) trusted Lotor. Allura, yearning for hope, wanted to believe in his sincerity. The rest of the Paladins were hesitant but willing to follow Shiro’s lead. If Keith stood alone in his distrust, it could have isolated him, forcing him into a position where he felt like an outsider even among his own team. This tension would have mirrored his past struggles with authority—just as he distrusted the Garrison and later the Blades, he would have once again found himself at odds with those around him, questioning an alliance everyone else was willing to accept.
This slow-burning antagonism between Keith and Lotor could have been an excellent way to preserve their classic rivalry. Instead of being immediate enemies, their conflict could have simmered beneath the surface—Lotor, ever the manipulator, attempting to win Keith over, while Keith steadfastly refused to be fooled. When Lotor’s true nature was finally revealed, the impact would have been far greater, as Keith would have been proven right—but at a cost. His relationship with his team could have suffered in the process, with the others only realising too late that he had been the only one who saw Lotor for who he truly was.
Both of these potential storylines would have strengthened Keith’s character arc—either by forcing him to confront betrayal on a deeply personal level or by cementing his role as an unshakable leader who sees through deception when no one else can. More importantly, they would have restored the weight of Keith and Lotor’s rivalry, making it more than just a handful of scattered battles.
Instead, Legendary Defender kept Keith and Lotor largely separate, missing an opportunity to explore their ideological clashes, personal similarities, and the devastating consequences of Lotor’s deception. By discarding their dynamic for two seasons, the show ultimately failed to capitalise on one of Voltron’s most compelling rivalries—a conflict that, in past versions, had always been at the heart of the story.
My Issue with LD’s Canon Romance
If there’s one franchise where the canon pairing didn’t work for me, it’s Voltron: Legendary Defender. Normally, I’m content with canon ships—I love Hiccstrid (How to Train Your Dragon), the Doctor and River Song (Doctor Who), Kataang (Avatar: The Last Airbender), and Anakin/Padmé (Star Wars). But in LD, the decision to end with Lance and Allura felt like a fundamental misunderstanding of Voltron as a whole.

For over thirty years, Voltron consistently paired Keith and Allura. Their romantic tension was a recurring element in Defender of the Universe (second season), The Third Dimension, Voltron Force, and even the Dynamite comics. Legendary Defender, however, sidelined their dynamic and abruptly pushed Lance and Allura together at the last minute without meaningful buildup. Their relationship lacked organic development, making it feel forced and unearned.

I, like many fans found the canon ending unsatisfying, but instead of Kallura, the most dominant ships in the fandom became Klance (Keith/Lance) and Sheith (Keith/Shiro), which honestly baffles me. Sheith, in particular, feels uncomfortable—not just because of the age difference, but because Keith explicitly refers to Shiro as his brother. Their dynamic is built on a strong mentor-protégé bond, which makes any romantic interpretation feel… wrong.
Klance is equally confusing to me. Keith and Lance spend most of the show at odds, their relationship defined by rivalry and bickering. I've seen arguments that Lance is bisexual and Keith is gay, but I could find no actual evidence in the show to support this. Lance openly flirts with multiple women (Allura, Nyma, Plaxum), but never once shows interest in men. Keith, on the other hand, isn’t depicted as romantically interested in anyone, male or female—though there are moments where he subtly notices Allura (noticed by people far smarter than myself). On my first watch, it seemed to me that the writers were setting up Keith and Acxa.
I will say that I don’t like these two ships, but it's fine if you do, I’m not judging. I’m just curious to hear from people who do ship these pairings. What is it about Klance or Sheith that resonates with you? Is there something in their dynamic that I might be missing? Maybe my perspective is limited or some gay subtext that my stupid hetero-focused brain can't process, so I’d love to understand why these ships became so popular.
Conclusion
Voltron: Legendary Defender set out to modernise and reimagine a beloved franchise, and while it succeeded in some areas, I felt it ultimately fell short in honouring Voltron’s full legacy. The series introduced fresh character dynamics, impressive animation, and ambitious storytelling, but its execution often felt inconsistent. Keith’s arc as the Black Lion’s pilot was hindered by narrative disruptions, Vehicle Voltron was ignored despite its historical significance, and Lotor’s character was muddled by conflicting portrayals. The rivalry between Keith and Lotor, a defining element of past iterations, was underdeveloped, missing a key opportunity for deeper storytelling.
Despite its flaws, LD reignited interest in Voltron for a new generation and expanded the franchise’s fanbase. It brought new perspectives to familiar characters and offered an engaging, if imperfect, reimagining of the classic series. However, by disregarding core elements of Voltron’s past, it failed to fully embrace the legacy it sought to celebrate.

Another one of my random late night post plus one of my friends asked me if someone knows your manifesting them because she doesn’t want them to know.
Short answer, NO. Your thoughts get sent to your sp’s as their own thoughts. For example, you’ve been scripting for a raise. Your boss will get the ransom thought “ hmm *blank* is a really good and hard worker. I should give them a raise for all of their hard work and dedication. “ Or you’ve been listening to a subliminal to get your parents to buy you a new phone. They could be on the couch watching TV and *PING*. “ I should get *blank* a new phone. Their old phone is really outdated. “ Or whatever the case may be. You could have failed a major test and now you want to revise it. So you start visualizing your teacher saying “ I graded the wrong paper. You actually passed the test and got ever answer right “. As your teacher is home fixing chicken noodle soup, They get the random thought to recheck the papers they graded and guess what ? There was a mix up with you and another students paper. You actually passed the test and didn’t miss a single question! You could be robotically affirming for a car and your parents get the random thought that you deserve a car and now they’re out buying you your dream car. You were listening to affirmation tapes about moving to your desired country, And now your parents have a random thought about moving to italy because it’s beautiful and the food is lovely and the cost of living is way cheaper there. ( Please remember these are just random examples. ) You decided that your sp is obsessed with you and they don’t want anyone but you. Now they’re thinking about life and realized they dislike anyone that isn’t you and no one is good enough for them but you because your literally perfect, your a dream come true of course they only want you and they’re obsessed with you and everything about you.
* I also want you guys to know that whatever method you use doesn’t matter. That’s why I used a different method for each example. A method is like a booster in my opinion. It helps you remind yourself that you already have your desire(s). Every method works for you if you assume it does. Methods are optional honestly, you could just simply decide that what you want is now yours and stand firm in that assumption. If you can’t just decide and you’d rather remind yourself of what you have that’s okay! Do what works for you. I personally do both honestly it depends on how I feel. Do what makes you feel fulfilled and what helps you live in the end. 💜

I am going to admit, I don't particularly enjoy the interpretation of the contestant's 'code' to dictate their every action and every word, I think the 'code' is just meant to be a bit of a parallel of the experiences that shape us as humans, the codes are not things that dictate their every thought are actions but words on paper that just made them prone to act a certain way. And seeing the code as being something that controls everything they do like machines just doesn't feel right to me, it feels too robotic and impersonal and its simply not something I enjoy doing. I do however think that the contestants themselves could fall down into this thought process (look at knife on ii 18 talking to 4s) how are you even sure that what you do truly comes from you? and not just a word written on a paper by someone else? when you aren't even real. And even though I think their actions and thoughts DO come from them, I think when they know the truth they are so unsure about it, what is truly real and what isn't? it all just begins to blur. And with someone like mic who has been shown time and time again to not be able to properly handle stressful situations at all, I think she would be fucking crushed by it. I imagine she already was in canon but, the fact that there was so little time to properly process things and that they had to act fast probably prevented her from acting the same way, all alongside the fact that she had people beside her feeling the same. In this scenario however she doesn't, she just falls to her knees and glitches and questions just how many of this is real until cobs talks to her. I imagine him saying something like ''you are not real and neither are they, so does it really matter? you have always been so overlooked weren't you? even your 'ally' didn't bother to hear you...how about we made something great so you can finally for once be seen'' and mic, hurt and dejected and exhausted microphone. After a moment, accepts. It sort of compliments the fact that the killing game is insanely despair inducing for everyone, I imagine she sort of induces despair onto people she cares especially biggest example taco because in some twisted and warped way she wants her to feel the despair she also felt! the thrill of being ''alive'', how pain makes you feel so real despite all odds. Its something I know junko sort of does with the danganronpa 1 cast and I imagine mic does it too, she has completely given up on a hopeful future and she pictures the others to do the same when she spills the truth. I picture that mic also gets executed for absolutely everyone's (especially taco's) dismay, she is on her fucking knees and barely moves while mic dies with a smile on her face, I imagine they do manage to find mephone and after some time everyone may just be alive again, but everyone is very fucking conflicted over what to do about mic. Taco is insanely desperate she needs her back, so badly, she would be dammed if she fully gives up on her and I imagine its knife the one that has to keep her steady because she is just, doing terrible. I imagine she is fucking fuming when they figure out what happened, part of the tragedy about mastermind mic I think is that it was something that could have been easily avoided, she just needed someone there with her but nobody realized until it was too late. So yeah everyone is confused, mic sure as hell probably doesn't want to go back since she doesn't feel she could after all, but taco like always I think she is determined, she cares about mic more than anything and she doesn't care if she burns trying to get her back. Its a messy situation for everyone.
Hi Kiara!!^^ Welcome back, and thank you for submitting an ask!! :)
I think their code doesn't dictate their actions per say, but influences a lot of their thoughts and feelings that lead to those actions. For example, Salt's code dictates her obsessive romantic feelings for OJ, which result in her constant harassment towards him, yeah? BUT yeah a lot of contestants would take it the way you described. I think I've mentioned this before, but it would set Taco back quite a bit. Right as Mepad convinced her she could change, she finds out she was made to manipulate and hurt other people. *explodes*
Back to Mic!! She would be quite upset!! A similar reaction to Balloon's I think, questioning if that's why she could never do anything right, yeah? And a hand being reached out to her in that vulnerable moment, even if it's with Cobs' malicious intent!!
NOOOO MIC execution noOOOO (eating up the angst). If they are able to get everyone back and recovered, what does that do for Taco, anyways? Mic is the one person she's really close to after Mepad's death. She'd be the one most adamant on bringing Mic back, and without the thought of staying in Mic's good graces holding her back, I can see her regressing and spiraling into making sure Mic comes back even if she has to use force. If it weren't for Knife, I suppose. He probably would be able to keep her more sane than if she were on her own, but regardless she'd be pretty dead set on getting Mic back.

Rocket's Backstory
*deep breath* God help me
This is the most inconsistent Marvel backstory and I, the top expert on Halfworld, am here to clear it up.
I'm going to split the variants into the following catagories: 1985, 2014, modern comics, show, and mcu. (the show is simply called Guardians of the Galaxy and is on disney+ and i highly recommend).
I have compiled a spreadsheet to go over the main points
As you can see, it's a shit show.
(As i go over the stories as best I can, please note that i am not a comic buff i am a 15 yo with Asperger's and an obsession with Halfworld and if i get something wrong plz don't be mad at me just tell me and I'll fix it :3)
1985 Rocket Raccoon- Rocket is a genetically modified caretaker on Halfworld, a mental asylum used to hold the insane of the galaxy, known as loonies/shrinks (extremely offence things to call mentally ill ppl but it was the 80'ssss). They have a book called the Halfworld Bible, which holds the secrets of the planets and it's people. The planet is ruled by Mayhem Mechaniks and Dyvynicies Inc; rival toy companies owened by Judson Jakes and Lord Dyvyne respectively. Jakes killed Lylla's parents to steal the company and it's... horrifying robot clowns. Pyko steals the Halfworld Bible for it's instructions on how to escape the planet in a giant human-shaped ship. Jakes and Dyvyne find out about this plot and team up to crash a party and there's a big battle and Rocket, Lylla, Pyko, Wal, Blackjack, and possibly Pyko escape Halfworld on the ship, leaving it in shambles as the loonies are left to the own devices to rebuilt the planet with their newfound wisdom (Pyko manages to 'cure' them)
2014 Rocket Raccoon (my fav series :3)- This one doesn't have much in the way of backstory, all we know is what Captain Sale gives us in the last book. Throughout the series it is shown that Rocket has no memory of his creation and believes he is the last of his kind. Until he ends up on Captain Sale's ship. She gives he the key to the Book of Halfworld and he takes 4 hours to read it. He is shown to be disgusted and horrified at the contents, leaving it with Sale and going home. (Clowns and the toy factory etc are mentioned, implying it is a sequel to the 1985 version.
Modern Comics- This section is specifically about v5 GotG #8 as I don't recall any other comics going into much detail. Here, there are loonies and robots, but no clowns. They must have thought it was too silly. Rocket is a therapy animal turned sentient with cruel experimentation. This is the first version of Rocket's backstory to show him sustaining significant and lasting trauma from his past. Not to mention the debilitating physical effects of having a metal skeleton and countless other weird things he doesn't understand. After his transformation, he is shown with the 1985 gang and other past team ups in a montage. It seems there is also an attempt at continuity here but it misses the mark a bit.
GotG Show 2015- This is by far the worst adaptation in my opinion, as it completely overhauls the story. So note that I have bias here. Here, Rocket is a simple Earth raccoon that has been transformed with the purpose of being a living weapon. His purpose was more 'artificial genius' than 'genetic marvel'. Immediately after being let into a more open enclosure, he meets Groot and effortlessly destroys the robots and steals a ravanger ship. After freeing all the creatures, of course.
(i am unable to provide images for this section as disney is a pussy ass company and won't let me screenshot but just imagine it sucking)
MCU- Anyone reading this has already seen the movies but I'll go over it anyway. The High Evolutionary is a man trying to recreate a sentient Earth-like planet by modifying creatures. Rocket is one of these poor souls. He lives his early years in a cage with Floor, Lylla, and Teefs. Rocket manages to open the cage one day, only to have his friends shot in front of him by the High Evolutionary. He then escapes. He meets Groot later in a well, not shown but confirmed by James Gunn.
Wow this took long to write. Time for the conclusion. Here i will 'average out' all the stories and throw in my personal theories.
My version- Halfworld is an insane asylum built by the Kree where they experiment on mentally ill people to try to cure them(we used to do this here on earth until the 60's). The 'toy factory' is a cover-up for this operation. The robot 'doctors' use clown faces to put the patients at ease. But what do psycho robot doctors do when the asylum is abandoned and not longer supplied with patients? They turn to the animal inhabitants on the planet. The Halfworld Bible/ Book of Halfworld is an engineering manual documenting the disgusting progress of making an innocent creature sentient. Pyko frees his people after decades of slavery in a grand rebellion and Lylla becomes the Priestess and guardian of the book like in 1985. Unfortunately, during the rebellion, 89P13 and Groot get stuck in an escape pod and sent away from the Keystone Quadrent, leading him to believe all of his people are dead or re-enslaved.
I think this version harnesses the soul and vibe of all the backstories while making it make more sense in the long run.
I had a lot of fun putting this together and I hope y'all appreciate it :D (Follow for more Halfworld content <3)

Ok so I just watched the Knuckles miniseries (I know its been out for a while now- but I managed to stay mainly spoiler-free until now, because before I didn't have the proper streaming services to watch it) and I've got some things to say about it.
Spoilers for the show ahead if you haven't watched it yet.
Ok so, I may have been misinterpreting it (social skills go brr) but I am kind of weirded out by Wade's mom flirting with / talking suggestively about Knuckles. I mean, he's a kid. I believe either 16 or 17, and Wade's mom is at least in her 50s. I know they never stated his age to her, but it still feels weird that they allowed that to be in the show.
I REALLY love how obsessed with grapes Knuckles is. Its barely shown in the second movie (only being mentioned at the end scene) but I love him just obsessing over them and wanting them with every meal. This is barely anything big, I just find it adorable that he loves them so much.
The ending kind of pissed me off, not just the lack of coherence to the rest of the cinematic series, but also the fact that it leaves so many unanswered questions that I doubt will be answered in the third movie. Did the people who used to work with/for Eggman continue making his robots? If not, then why was one on the table in that one scene? Are Wade and his family Knuckles new family? Or is that still the Wachowskis? Maybe both? Did Maddy, Sonic, and Tails ever go looking for Knuckles in the 3-4 days he was missing when he was meant to be grounded? Did Tom ever find out about any of it after he came back from the trip he was on?
I could go on for ages lmao.
All in all though, I really loved the series, plot holes, loose ends, and all. It made me like the character Knuckles is made to be in the cinematic universe a lot more than I did before, and now he might actually be my favorite after Sonic (though he will most likely be bumped to third after the third movie comes out later this month, I am a major Shadow simply 😔💔) but it made his character so much nicer, and it gave him more personality, I feel.
But I do desperately need there to be some Knuckles and Wade interaction for the third movie to be good. The series made me love the two of them too much.
