Today was kaito's birthday, and since it was his birthday, you did everything in your will to make it special, ofcourse making a special birthday party would make it hard, not to mention expensive but you had to try!! It was his birthday after all and it didnt hurt to try right?

You first started the day by buying him ice cream, you hid it in the fridge so that when he gets in your shared apartment, you'll surprise him with that! Next you brought some small cake, the big one was too expensive, surely the small one will do..

You then decorated the apartment, just some small balloons here and there, since it was his birthday, ofcourse you were going to invite his friends, they too had to come! So you went online and started searching on what to cook, foods that would suit everybody, after an hour or so you started cooking, there were going to be 7 of them, plus you so that would mean you had to make food suited for 8 people! You didnt try anything like this since you came from a small family, but itd be worth a shot!

Ofcourse, you did some things that arent related to his birthday such as, taking care of plants, going to the mall, and going to your job, ofcourse when you got home you were a tad bit late, so you put on your apron and started cooking, you placed your phone onto a phone stand and watched their live, since it was his birthday, ofcourse theyre gonna put on a show, why wouldnt they?

After finishing preparing everything you texted kaito to be home as quick as he can, he still didnt see the message but he will, he never leaves you on sent, after a minute he sees your message, and goes offline, thats it? Does that mean theyre coming home? 8pm still not home, 8:45pm still not home, 9pm still not home, you started doubting, the food had gone cold, you placed the ice cream back into the fridge to avoid it melting, maybe he and his bandmates went out and ate out? But he wouldve texted you if they did.. maybe he forgot? It was almost 10 and you started placing the cake back to the fridge to avoid flies, then the door opened, and there it was kaito and his bandmates!

You quickly placed the cake in the fridge and helped them get inside. "Sorry for not replying, i was about to but my phone died..." Kaito, apologizes, you shook your head and assured him that it was all okay, rin, the band's keyboardist interrupts. "Oh wow! You cooked all this [Y/N]! Careful, lens gonna eat it all~!" She teased, taking a seat "i dont even eat that much! Unlike you!" Len, the bands guitarist argues back, Meiko, sits beside the two teens, giving them a glare "calm down you two.. " she says sternly, the two didnt calm down so they had to sit separately, Meiko, Rin, Luka on the right side, you, Miku, and Rin on the left, ofcourse Kaito would be at the center since this party was dedicated to him!

You all began to eat and drink, except the twins ofcourse, staying up all night to have fun, singing karaoke, and playing video games, you watched, Miku and Luka admiring rin and len's skill on playing video games, while Meiko lays down, too drunk to know whats happening,she rests her head on Rins lap "Stop moving Meiko! Im gonna lose!!" She whines, Len snickers "keep wiggling Meiko!" He teases, you watched them all, being happy that they enjoyed the small party you threw, after some minutes Meiko finally woke up and had an idea. "Guys! Lets sing kaito a... A happy birthday~!" She says with a song-sing voice, wrapping her arm around your shoulder, you nod and helped Meiko sit back down.

After singing kaito a happy birthday, you pulled out your small cake from the fridge "sorry if the cakes to small.. the big ones were expensive.." you added, looking a bit guilty, Kaito shook his head and gave you a reassuring smile "no,no.. dont be, im grateful for whatever you give me.." he smiles "Stop talking and blow out the candle!!" Rin exclaims, Kaito then blew out his candles, chuckling a bit "aha.. im starting to feel old.." he chuckles, Miku shook her head "26 is not that old.! I think.." she replied, Luka nodded in agreement.

After the party ended, the rest of the bandmates were gonna head home, they all had given their gifts back at the concert but you still hadnt given your gift yet.. "you sure you dont want me to drive you home..?" You ask, Luka shook her head "no, no.. me and Meiko live pretty close, rin, miku, and len also live ina dormitory thats just a 30 minute drive from my place.. its almost 12 so you should get rest, you did throw as a party.." she replied, You knew you could trust her, she only took small drink, maybe like one can, unlike Meiko..

You both helped eachother clean up, it wasnt that messy but still needed some retouches "you dont have to help me clean Kai, its your birthday" you say to him, he shook his head "no, i should help.. you threw me this party.. its the least i could do.." he says, while wiping the plates, watching you sweep, after finishing, you wanted to announce something.

"Happy birthday Kai.. oh! Here i brought you a present! Close your eyes..!" You giggle, Kaito smiles and nodded, closing his eyes "on a count to three open em okay? 1... 2... 3... Open!" As Kaito opens his eyes, he had an appreciated look on his face. "A crocheted plushie.. of ice cream..?" He remarks.. was your gift that bad..? Is it not that good? "Y-yeah! Took me a week.. do you .. like it...?" You ask, kaito smiles at you and gave you a hug "i love it.. i'll cherish it as long as i live" he added, the hug soon broke "this is the best birthday gift i could ask for.. thank you.." he smiles at you, showering you with compliments, you blush slightly at his words "awee..! Dont have to! Just doing something a good person would do!" The clock soon hits 12, Kaito's birthday had come to an end.

"Although.. there is something that i did want.." he blushed, looking away "oh! What is it then..? Im sure i can buy it for you next year!" You replied, kaito looks at you then, clears hos throat "is it too late for a birthday kiss..?" He asks.

You blush, and chuckles a bit, kissing his cheek, just as you were about to pull away, he grabs your waist and kisses you on the lips.. "i-im sorry.." he said, blushing madly while looking down, you chuckle and smiled at him "no,no.. im glad you kissed me.."He smiles at your response, hugging you, nuzzling his face to your neck, "oh.. well.. im glad you liked it.. though.. would you still be glad if i.. did more than kissing?"

a/n : first event request, thank you! i'm honored to write a fic for you, because you were one of the authors that gave me motivation to write again after god knows how long. well anyway, onto the fic! hopefully, this was done justice.

after the curtains closed, most of the audience left after watching wonderlands x showtime's last show for the night. you loitered to walk home back home with rui.

"oya? if it isn't y/n."

you could hear his chesire-like grin, turning around to see rui.

"rui, that show was magnificent; great job again."

"heh, thank you." rui chuckled. "to be honest, we went through an issue backstage."

"again? last time, emu got a nosebleed due to one of the props. thankfully i was there and it wasn't her turn on stage yet." you recollected, taking a sigh. "what happened this time?"

the curve of rui's lips drooped, "tsukasa almost got knocked out, again." rui sat down on the bench behind him, clasping his hands and putting his elbows on his knees. "...it's because of me."

you couldn't help but pity rui. you looked at his averted golden eyes that held guilt. you knew that this had happened previously.

"...rui, it's not your fault. we make mistakes."

"but, we can't afford to make mistakes anymore."

it seemed pointless. you really didn't want to pick a fight with rui, but you thought that he didn't have to blame himself for it. the more this goes on, the more he decides to keep his creative ideas of his inside, worsening the product of the shows.

"i'll be honest with you," you announce out the blue, getting rui's attention. "don't push yourself back due to minor setbacks. that's what's going to fail the next upcoming shows."

"y/n, you don't understand," rui got up from the bench, narrowing his eyes. "if i execute my dangerous ideas, the troupe will only get further injured-"

"rui." you cut him off, with a stern tone. "this is stupid for us to start fighting over. so, i'll leave for now. we can talk tomorrow." you turn around, feeling bitter about your decision. however, it was for the best.

afterwards, you convinced rui to do what he loves most-- which is creating eccentric ideas thanks to his imagination. anybody should be allowed to do what they want, as long as they like what they're doing.

"thank you, y/n." rui smiled, holding your hand.

"thank you first. my actions earlier were short-tempered." you laughed sheepishly, a bit embarassed. you couldn't lie, you couldn't understand why you did that in the first place.

He grew a bound with you that he is very grateful to have like with nene. You are a close friend of his like nene and mizuki, one of the few people he can trust and with many more now. Maybe it was your kindness and loyalty he fell for you, or maybe it’s just you. You always routed for him whenever he made a new invention and hyped him up to show people even when people are spectacle on him. That was definitely the moment he fell in love with you. Everyday whenever he makes his new inventions for a new wxs show, it always reminds him of you helping build the robots or fixing it a bit. He has to stop what he’s doing and cover his face to hide his embarrassment even tho he’s alone. The thought of you always gets him excited and happy but also butterflies, he tries to ignore them so much but how can he when it’s about you?

Wonderlands x Showtime was sitting on the stage in their practice clothes, doing a readout of their latest script. Rui was supposed to be paying attention, but he was admittedly a little distracted.

He couldn't help noticing that even though they were sitting on the floor, Tsukasa was still a good deal shorter than him.

His round face and large eyes made him look younger than all the other boys in their year, even though he was one of the oldest.

His script, he noticed, was folded over and held in one hand like he was a middle aged professor with a paperback. It was endlessly endearing. His eyes traced his hand, and a thought struck him.

"Wow Tsukasa-kun, you have such dainty hands."

Tsukasa bristled, bunching his shoulders up. "If you're making fun of me-"

"No nothing like that at all, I promise." Rui held out his own hand, like he was waiting for a high five. Something in Tsukasa's chest warmed seeing the bracelet Emu had made for him on his wrist. "I was just thinking about how different ours were."

On instinct, Tsukasa held his hand up to Rui's. He let out a surprised squeak.

"Wow..." he pressed the bottom of his palm against Rui's, lining his fingers up against his. Rui was right, his hands were rough and calloused from long nights holding wrenches and screwdrivers. His wrist and knuckles were a bit knobbly, but the biggest difference was-

"Your hands are so big!" He probably shouldn't be surprised, with how Rui was easily the tallest person he knew, but he couldn't help but stare. His palm was slightly wider, but both it and his fingers were so much longer than his own. So long he could probably curl his fingers over Tsukasa's.

"Kanade.. It's alright we are nearly back at your place."

You said as you tried to warm up Kanade as best as you could. Since it started to unexpectedly snow, Kanade did not have any winter wear when visiting her Dad at the hospital.

You were only lucky enough to catch her. However, you didn't have any spare jackets so you had to give her yours while you hold her hand to generate more body heat for her.

"T-Thank you [n-name].."

"Don't mention it. Should I go and buy you winter wear? I've never seen you dressed in any other clothing besides the same old sweater."

"Ah.. N-no need to, I do have winter wear but I just didn't expect it to snow and thought I'll be fine in my casual clothes.."

"Please be more cautious next time.. I would hate for you to be sick."

And just like that, you both reached your destination, Kanade's house. Luckily it wasn't a long distance as Kanade couldn't stop sneezing.

Kanade then reached for her pockets to get her key to open the door. However she was shaking a lot due to being to cold and kept missing the keyhole.

You ended up needing to help her open the door.

"T-Thanks a l-lot [name].. Sorry f-for the bother.."

As Kanade flashed a sad smile at you. However, instead of you leaving afterwards, you came into her house.

"Sorry if I'm intruding but I wanna make sure you feel a little better before I leave."

"Ah.. It's alright n-no need t- Achoo!"

"Nuh-uh! I'm not leaving you until you feel better."

As you supported Kanade back into her room and tucked her under her blanket before going into the kitchen.

You decided to make ginger tea, as you heard it helps with the cold. You were quite glad that you gifted Kanade different types of tea every month as you would be in a pickle if she didn't have it.

-Unfortunately, Kanade had finished the whole set of teabags you've given her. On one side, you were glad she drank them due to the benefits the teas produced but it's a bit complicated now.

You tried to search your bag to see if there was anything else you had before you had to turn to just hot water.

CLUNK!

You touched a flask and pulled it out.

"Ah right, I did make hot chocolate before I left my house today in case I felt cold. I think it should be fine if I give this to Kanade.. I didn't put any milk in it."

As you returned to Kanade's room. However she was sneezing a little bit more.

"Here Kanade, I haven't touch my flask at all but there's warm hot chocolate in it. It should be better than normal water due to the effects of the dark cacao."

"Ah t-thank ACHOO [name].."

"You seem to be better now, your sneezing has reduced even if it is just a little."

"Yeah, all thanks to you [name]! Choo- I feel a lot better."

RUI KAMISHIRO — attractive things he does! ( akito version here )

i. groans at the loss of physical contact. he is soo needy when it comes to affection it is almost sickening. whenever you cup his face when kissing him and you pull away, he furrows his eyebrows and pulls you even closer just to seep in another taste of your sweet lips. loves it by tenfold even more if you run your fingers through his hair whilst doing so.

ii. the way his gaze becomes half lidded before kissing you. contrary to the first one, he does the same before kissing you. but this time, rui preferably pulls you in closer by your waist, sighing softly against your lips before leaning in for the kiss. preferably, he'd rather do this in private though <3

iii. the way he has to slightly lean down to hear you. it's cute, but your glare at him say otherwise. his hands are on his knees as he crouches down a little bit-- as if you're a child trying to talk to him. he partially does this just to piss you off though, but this backfires whenever you pull him down by his uniforms collar.

iv. has a digital camera just filled with photos of you. yes, it's great for social media content! but for rui on the other hand, he just loves capturing small moments in between the days, and he thinks you look better when you don't realize you're being pictured. also, whenever someone asks to see the pictures, he doesn't even mention that it's just full of you. the person asking just hands the camera back with a sweat drop.

v. the way he gets into your interests. before you two were dating, he'd definitely stay up all night researching about what you like, just so he could start up a conversation with you out of nowhere. he still does it, by the way. he'd be like— “ohhh.. you like ___? ahh.. i do too!” before rushing to take out his phone to google what you're talking about.

vi. the way he prioritizes you over himself. he does it even when you don't realize yourself. but on other days, it's quite obvious too. one time you stayed late in school due to club activities, and you saw him outside your classroom just to wait for you. it was raining, and you didn't have anything on you. he shakes his head, taking off his blazer as you try to refuse, whilst he tells you to stop complaining and just comply.

vii. keeps up with the latest couple trends. it's either you or him who says “can we do this” to each other whilst pointing on a tiktok trend on your phone with a smile on your face. he's particularly fond of the one where he has your lipstick marks all over his face <3

✧ Toya actually really likes kids! It turns out differently but his calm nature usually helps him

✧ he may not be as energetic as you though but he'd still be down to play some calmer games with kids if you were asked!

It was evident in your search history you had no idea what you were doing. Not even a toddler would search up “How to start sketches.” But you wanted to start off strong and only continue to improve, so what other way to do it then tutorials?

It sounded silly, and you knew in the back of your mind it was ridiculous. But this has been something you’ve been interested in for forever now… wouldn’t starting off poorly only disappoint your younger self?

You sighed, putting the pencil down to massage your temples. ‘Think (Name)… what’s the best way to start…’

A familiar face comes to mind, a very familiar face at that. Of course! How did you not think of that before? Ena’s an artist, and she just got back from teaching younger kids how to paint the other day. She’s experienced in teaching and art… she could be a great help!

Hopefully…

Getting a hold of the brunette wasn’t easy, Ena was always sleeping in the morning, only waking up in the late afternoon to go to night classes. After her night classes, she’s secretive about what she does later in the night. You’d be lucky if you caught her at the right time no matter what.

Besides, what would you even say exactly? “Hey Ena I know you draw and I’m drawing now so you should help me draw”? That just sounded dumb! Plus, there was a subtle fear of embarrassing yourself in front of the girl, though you’re not sure why. It’s not like she’s too judgmental, and it’s something she loves that you’re bringing up.

Right, nothing to be embarrassed about… just stay calm.

You pick up the phone, dialing Ena’s number and crossing your fingers she’ll answer this time. ‘Please pick up please pick up please pi-‘

“Hello?”

“Ena! I thought you wouldn’t answer, thank god. I wanted to ask you for something, if you don’t mind..”

There was a pause on the other end, you could hear some shuffling and moving on what sounded like a bed. ‘Did she just wake up or something?’ Oh god, did you just wake Ena up?

“Ah sorry, I had to sit up so I can hear you better. What do you need, (name)?”

“You know how I’ve always been interested in the arts? Especially visual arts, especially your art…”

The girl was glad you couldn’t see her right now, otherwise you’d have just seen the way her face flushed. And if you were right in front of her right now, she probably wouldn’t be capable of holding back a squeak of happiness.

Compliments always meant a lot to Ena, as she always sought out others praise and validation. But something about that praise coming from you made her heart swell.

“Yeah I’ve noticed, what’s up? Did you get a job at a museum or something? I don’t see how I’d be able to help with that.”

“No, not that. Uh… I kinda started drawing…”

‘Why was this so embarrassing?’ Maybe it’s the fact you feel like a grown child learning your abc’s. Everyone starts drawing in pre-school, only some people take it seriously later on. ‘I could have phrased that better oh no no no…’

The silence didn’t help at all, was she holding back a laugh? Ena wouldn’t laugh at that though, would she? This entire ordeal is making you realize how bad you are at confrontation…

While you worried, so did Ena. She saw a glimpse of her old art classes, that girl who was always praised despite being a beginner… Even if isn’t your fault, she worries that she’ll be out through that same situation again.

“Sorry, I was just thinking of something. You started drawing you said? Well that’s great! How’s it going so far…?”

There was something in her voice that made you reconsider asking. That hint of sadness… it sounded off. While she seemed genuinely happy for you, she seemed to have another thought in mind.

“It’s going… average? I just started, so I’m not the best but-“

“Don’t say that!”

You pulled your ear away from the phone for a moment, Ena’s yell echoing into your room. Ouch. Maybe you shouldn’t have insulted yourself like that to her, especially about your art.

You knew about her Junior High experience in art classes, but you didn’t think she’d take offense to you insulting yourself. It had to go deeper than you thought, but now wasn’t the time to pry.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to tell like that.. but I can’t stand hearing you put yourself down like that. Everyone starts somewhere- no matter how good or bad you start out, you’ll get better and better overtime. It just takes practice. And… I can help you learn.”

“Actually that’s why I called you- I wanted your help learning how to draw! I couldn’t think of anyone else I’d rather tutor me.”

Once again, Ena was glad you couldn’t see her face right now. If only you knew how easy it is for you to make her heart melt.

“Great. I’ll be over in ten!”

“Wait, right now?”

Ena ended the call before she could hear you. Rushing to get out of bed and get ready. After all, she’d hate it if you saw her in her “unpresentable” state the way she does.

Meanwhile, you sat there stunned. Processing Ena’s words from moments ago, she had a point. You’ve only just started… you can’t be too hard on yourself just yet. Even Ena started somewhere before, and you wondered if she began strong or not.

If her drawings were bad before, you’d still admire them in awe simply because it was her that drew them. She could scribble graphite on paper and you’d think it was a masterpiece, you were really down bad for this girl, huh?

She said she’ll be over in just a bit, and you haven’t even cleaned your room! If you knew that the phone call would go so well- or even that Ena picked up the phone- you would have cleaned beforehand.

But remembering what you thought earlier, you kept it in mind while you cleaned and awaited Ena’s arrival.

‘Just stay calm.’

Besides, you have a feeling her visit would go better than either of you ever expected.

a/n: im back from unproductive hell with something i wrote mega sporadically!!! so heres a little semi-drabble (idk) thing!!

"when i thought.. i had feelings for you."

a pause, the word feelings seems like it has such a strange meaning now. everyone has feelings, why are these different? you're taught what feelings you could have before even entering school, so why now are feelings so alien? it seems the boy in question that hesitantly uttered these words had this very thought, the feeling that something he thought he knew had now become a foreign language he could never understand. "feelings" .. it's got a weird ring to it doesn't it?

"i thought something was wrong with me.. i thought it was something i shouldn't have, that i needed to fix." the cardigan hugging the short figure couldn't stop the bone chilling feeling of the words he was speaking. defeats the purpose of even wearing it, but a comfortable yellow cardigan looks good so, cardigan it is; and to hell with feelings.

"i'm sounding so serious aren't i? i thought i should rehearse this like any other one of our shows.. this doesn't feel like a performance though. i thought i could treat this like one and just.. spit it out. i know you prefer to listen, i just don't want you listening to.. i don't know.. stuff you don't want to hear? stuff you feel like is dragging things out." the boy now clings to the cuffs of his sleeves, syllables get harder to form and sentences get even harder to start. the boys lips quiver, not from holding back tears but holding back words he wouldn't want to slip off his tongue in fear it'll ruin the close friendship there. this singular interaction could dictate an entire future with the boy standing right in front of him, why would he even want to put that in jeopardy?

"rui i love you."

the words slip. they stumble and come out in a syncopated manner that almost makes it seem like a four letter sentence has seven words instead. the air goes stiff, rui; the boy receiving the confession takes a moment to process, but then warmly smiles.

"for a performer, i'd expect heartfelt words to be so much easier to say if you can do it so often on a stage~"

the whole sentence doesn't register to the lovestrucken boy other than the giggle after rui's response. did he find the confession humorous? was it bad? did he not feel the same? questions run through the boys head, it's obvious he's tuned everything out, that his brain is unable to hear anything else other than his own thoughts. rui steps forward and his hands (god he loved how warm rui's hands always were, today did not fail either) begin to meet his cheeks. the sudden contact snaps the boy back into reality, said reality only being cut off again by the next set of words.
