it sure is fucking WILD to say that fics that were written before a prequel even came out no longer feel right or valid or whatever... just because it doesn't adhere to a canon that wasn't even canon yet. a canon that, by the way, many people don't even really like or feel that it did his character justice.

#btw some of the best and most iconic fics of our fandom is pre-andor #and many of them do develop his backstory in a way that frankly to me makes more sense with his rogue one characterization #but yeah okay sure yeah #normal thing to say #no im sorry i AM offended #as someone who's written most of their fics pre-andor and whose favorites are mostly pre-andor #and as someone who may not always want to write the andor-canon #and on behalf of people who may not even have an interest in watching the show at all #you're welcome to read only andor-compliant fics if that's your heart's desire #but to say that these old fics don't feel right is kind of insulting #in fact this is making me not want to write andor-canon at all just out of spite #anyway lmao blocked blocked blocked #shut up sissi #andor critical #just to be safe although this is more about the fandom than the show
