I've reread TPOH for probably the millionth time, and I just have to say I really appreciate how clever you make the characters. As someone who struggles with creating my own dastardly clever characters, how do you do it?

Or, if I can rephrase the question; as I like to say characters aren't so much as "is" as they are a "doing", so how do you craft the story around to make the characters do such clever things?

I really really don't. I let the story happen; the characters react to the situations that they find themselves in, and because of that, more story happens! It's all very organic and my best work is the result of not interfering with that process; I listen, and I do what I'm told like a good pet cartoonist should.

I feel like I’m losing my mind,,, Ruby’s mom is so obviously herself from the future. In the last episode they say they can only get footage of her mom from 66 meters away… that is LITERALLY the entire plot of 72 yards. We’ve had an episode this season explicitly talking about it.

Either that or that detail of 66 meters and the plot of 72 yards tie into something else even bigger (which is admittedly more likely)

Why is all of that's happening in Side Story allegedly Lee Hakhyun's fault?

I don't think Koo Sunah is lying about it (tho she may have incomplete information), because the events of Side Story happening because of Hakhyun would parallel the events of ORV happening because of Dokja.

According to Sooyoung's plan, the readers were supposed to wish for Dokja to come back to kimcom, alive and whole.

But Hakhyun, 49, never wanted to be Dokja again. He made the wish to be someone else.

Was his wish strong enough to create a new timeline and stop Kim Dokja from coming back as a whole??
