good day fellow rodger fan, i rlly love your art it gives me whimsy and joy. do you have any headcanons ab him and glisten, perhaps toodles as well? (family dynamics my beloved actually) if not either way i think your stuff is still so rad.

AHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!! <333 WEEPS TEARS OF JOY.... i do have some headcanons hehehe... in no particular order/organization heres some of my thoughts on them:

- Rodger is a sleepwalker. Very Embarrassed by it.

- Toodles really enjoys drawing !!! She likes to draw with the other toons a lot (especially glisten, but he usually just watches her and then treats her art like the mona lisa so she feels good about herself)

- rodgers reaction to any sort of physical affection is really funny because he doesnt know how to react. He wants to keep his awesome and mysterious persona but also he doesnt want to be rude or anything. does he reciprocate? does he try to get away before it happens??? does he say something or does he keep quiet? Usually it just results in him freezing up and going stiff

- also adding onto above he tends to be paranoid about peoples intentions. bro gets a hug from goob and freezes and hes thinking "is this an attempt to console me does he think im mentally unwell or is he trying to find my weaknesses so he can kill me"

- in general rodger can be a very paranoid person and starts panicking at the slightest threat but hes pretty good at stopping to think and clearing his head. Logically he knows goob wouldnt kill him and doesnt know his secrets but it is a thought that pops up in his head for a brief moment

- toodles is always very quick to jump in and try to help whenever someone is upset. She wants to help people as best she can so ofc she would but the problem is that shes never sure what to say to cheer people up :'] she tries parroting some of the things rodger has told her when she was sad but also from her experience it never works so she tries to distract people instead most of the time. it makes her feel really guilty whenever she doenst try to help or if she fails to make them feel any better

- Toodles is very close with teagan!! teagan is like her fun uncle :] they take care of toodles sometimes if rodger is busy (or cough missing). Tea parties galore!!!!

- glisten is romo-repulsed i know this in my heart ok. [i know ive drawn him doing romantic things i cant explain the nuances to this in a cohesive way im just projecting ontohim as a romo repulsed person in a relationship]

- Glisten is definitely introverted but not in the "ohh hes shy and hates people" way hes just drained when he talks to people even if he likes talking to people. He needs to take breaks from socializing a lot to recharge his social battery especially since hes always so worried about what people think of him but he also dies if hes alone too long

- toodles is actually VERY fascinated with bugs if theres an ant or a beetle or a roach or something in the facility shes gonna beg to keep it and make a house for it so she can "give it a better life" (glisten will not scream or freak out but there WILL be visible discomfort on his face and he will avoid that bug like the plague)

- rodger smokes cigarettes . He knows which employee(s) carry them around and will snatch one from their pocket at the right moment when nobody is looking... he tries covering his tracks and flushing everything down the toilet and covering up the smell but ofc he gets found out when theres a clog LOL.

- There was also suspicion when toodles started pretend-smoking and saying she was doing the thing that rodger did but most everyone else just assumed it was toodles being a silly little kid

🎸⚡ Max Trio Headcanons Time!!!! Yay!!!!

Jaime:

- SHE DATED MARIA IN MIDDLE SCHOOL: IDC. THEYRE MIDDLE SCHOOL EXES what evidence do I have?? uhhh,,,.......none but i pinky promise they are.

- She's Chinese and Freeeench!!! : Chinese from her Mom and French from her Dad. She knows both languages fairly well and her favorite hobby is to say random things to Max in them that he will never understand (and loses his mind over~)

- She used to have medium length hair but cut it in freshman year: New Year New (Jai)Me!!!

- This is even more random than the Maria one but I hc her to be siblings with the spinoff ep 2 nurse: hear me out okay i just.........idk i think it's probably the lack of max trio content that's getting to my mind.

and it's just nurse lady has the same color palette as jaime ssss...sso...so....WHATEVER

- ⬆️ Adding to thisssss:

When she was a kid her sis was goth (liek as a teen? 10 year age gap between them im guessing) and mini 5 year old Jaime always felt INSPIRED🪄🪄 so she got alot of practice as a kid by stealing makeup hehehe and now she has a PhD in dressing goth! huzzah!

...most of her clothes are hand me downs but atleast she got a starter pack of some sorts 😾

- Whenever she's bored she practices her makeup-ing on Damien,: Since he can actually sit still. She tried it on Max but he either fell off the chair or subconsciously rubbed it all off when his face got itchy....whoops.

- She playssss....keyboard 🎹! I think! And she probably sings sometimes too. Lalalala 🎤🎤

- After Ep 11 events she made pretty good friends with Jake!!!:

Fun Scenario - One day Jaime just so happened to not have makeup on so she was just walking around with her natural BEAUTAY but Jake didn't recognize her like that so he released a quite high pitched SHRIEK and fell backwards thinking she was someone else. They were both quite confused.

- DAMIEN AND MAX CALL HER 'JAY' AS A NICKNAME: Change my mind😈😈😡🤑

- She's not very good at facial expressions:

If she's having the time of her life she'll slightly smile. If she fell off a cliff and lost a few limbs she might slightly pout. The other 99.99% of the times in her life are just a deadpan expression, 😐.

Max:

- MAAAAAAX MY MAIN MAN!!!!!: Before I FULLY start up abt him I just wanna blab a lil on how I think him and Jaime met.

In either Freshmen or MS (I can't decide) Jaime was just listening to music in art class minding her own business till a red and orange gremlin invited himself into her personal space. "WHAT THE HELL DUDE YOU LISTEN TO (certain cool band) TOO!?!? WHAAAAT!?!?" shrieked the gremlin, unaware and uncaring of the other 30 people in the room.

And there you go. Jaime Max friendship. Huzzah!

- Half Brazilian Half Mexican!!: Mexican from his Mom so he knows his Spanissssh!!! I've never thought about Max's dad so lets say he's fatherless. Good for him.

⬆️ - ONTO THIS: I also headcanon Drew as half Mexican (and half Filipino if anyones interested) so so so so SO me thinks Drew and Max are cousins! Teehee!

With Kurumi's inclusion:

Tsuna gets to have another friend and support added to his circle 🥹✨(well maybe I should say two friends, because Kurumi usually has Yui in tow with her)

Lambo gets to have another onee-chan too! Their dynamic is very funny and cute.

She'll often be seen as a trio with Kyoko and Haru. I guess the perceived love triangle(?) with Tsuna at the center may upgrade to a some kind of love square lmao

With Kana's inclusion:

Tsuna, Lambo and Mukuro get to have another person beefing against them. Thankfully, Tsuna and Lambo are both under Kurumi's divine protection.

Hibari and Gokudera get to have another person they can beef against. There will be a new committee as well.

Yamamoto successfully wins over and befriends another swordsman who will train him. It's a W that he deserves.

What headcanons/theories do you believe fandom would invent about your character?

Kurumi:

Because she's a "good" character, I feel like it's only natural that there will be people with headcanons or theories that depict her as the opposite.

Another reasonable fandom theory I can think of is that her character will develop into someone similar to Rinko (her 1st Generation equivalent).

Kana:

There will be theories that Kana will either go through character development (into a better person) or character regression (into a worse person) as we progress through the story. There will also be arguments that it's a death flag if she goes and develops into a better person.

There will be people making headcanons that since Kurumi is shit at cooking, then maybe the opposite is true for Kana.

KanaRumi: I have a theory for the shipping fandom in general as well, derived from an amusing thing I read from a shoujo-series fandom I can't remember right now. They'll be forced to romantically ship Kana with the nearest character they can personally ship her with to fight off the incest shippers 🤣😭🤣😭 jdsfbhsdvfsh Sorry, both Sou and I have been in the Gen/shin fandom (and other various ones b4 that), and we both agree that if KHRe had a fandom, there would be this small subset of romantic shippers for the twins 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Kurumi: For Kurumi, I feel like there will be a lot of people who will feel affection for her. This is because I think a good amount of people may even see her as someone relatable, because of her efforts and struggles with expressing herself. Another would be a desire to protect her, even if they know that Kurumi is strong.

Kana: I can see a love/hate dynamic for this one. I feel like she's the type of character who will both have dedicated fans (who may woobify her too much) and dedicated haters (who may vilify her too much). There will be a lot of discourse related to her. TsunaRumi shippers might feel frustrated with her for always trying to cockblock their ship, while TsunaRumi antis celebrate her as their champion.

How does fandom characterize/mischaracterize your characters ship in fanworks?

Kurumi: In terms of ships, I feel like there would be depictions of her having this intense & bitter rivalry vs the other characters Tsuna is shipped with. But the truth is that her biggest enemy & rival is own self and personal struggles sjdvfhsdvg

With the modern fandom environment right now, I feel like there would be way less of those "hating on a fem character because they're in the way of their ship" type of problem. Especially since the twins' genders are pretty vague (esp Kana with masc clothes) and they run the risk of being one of those people that would often be listed in DNIs shfshvfgsdvf I feel like they're more likely to just treat the "third-wheel" fem character as an accessory now, from what I've observed.

What is the quote between your character and their love interest/whoever they might be shipped with that their fans would latch onto?

I just realized the question didn't specify whether it's "latching onto (happily and excitedly, we're so back!)" or "latching onto (despairingly, it's joever...)" or "latching onto (in copium/hopium)". Suddenly, I have a few more lines I can think of on the spot (not a guarantee it will be in the story but still--- hehehe)

The recommendation was on point absolutely, though it wasn’t what actually drew me into your fic. It was the premise. How at the time, I was on my knees rolling like a pig in mud for pre-relationship Nanami content. Yes, I am not kidding. I needed pre-relationship so hard, the tension between the two characters, the build up, the flirtations. And unforgetably, Nanami.

So that is how you became the third person I have ever followed on tumblr.

I'm absolutely obsessed with your designs for vaggie and lute and was wondering what your headcanons for them would be?

To go on about my exorcist hcs for a sec-

So i like to hc heavenborn angels as being distinctly nonhuman. None of the seraphim have noses, Emily’s hair is evocative of her angellic form’s wings wrapped around her head- and this is in their more “human” forms too. I hc them as beings made out of wings, eyes, and parts that look and feel distinctly artificial to humans. They’re like puppets!

Adding on to this, I hc the exorcists as human women who just /barely/ didn’t make the cut into heaven- meaning they got scooped up before they could become demons, but didn’t become winner angels, so they have more human forms without a more angellic form. ( either that or it’s because Adam has a preference for human women. :( )

Anyway, so what ends up happening is that exorcists have heaven-born features-“artificial” limbs, feathers (floof) but are strangely and distinctly human-like. it’s a sore reminder of how they “weren’t meant to be here”

It’s a wee part of the reason Lute usually leaves her helmet on. Most of it is zealous devotion, sure- and she wouldn’t admit it to herself, she might even consider it blasphemy- but just a little part of her hates the reminder with all it’s being.

Anyway.

One possibility is that Lute and Vaggie meet and partnered up early on. During training, during battle, and then during work as they both ascend the ranks. They’re fast friends, they’re a good match for each other.

They’re both rough around the edges and have a love for combat and bloodshed. “It’s been a long time since I killed someone and really meant it.” Etc. They were probably an absolute terror of a pair to piss off- Vaggie’s full and utter readiness to stab somebody for Charlie is only somewhat reined in by Charlie’s aversity to seeing people stabbed to permanent death :( (she wouldn’t have stabbed angels but you know)

I looooove the implications of “you always were weak.” Vaggie being always on that edge of realization, hesitating a bit too much- especially in contrast to Lute. But they’re close enough that she willfully looks over it.

She goes after Vaggie so viciously because she loved her, because that love tainted her, threatened her, and Lute is sooo insecure about her position as a holy being, and she hates how soft Vaggie can be and she’s terrified about how a part of herself loves that blasphemy.

Another possibility is they met through their respective ranks- lieutenant and top exorcist. In this way I think Lute would have liked her a great deal and maybe she took it especially personally when somebody she thought she could trust - maybe even confided in - betrayed them.

This is more of a fandom nitpick than about ghost but a lot of people i think picture him with a certain body and my gym rat ass self is just there like??? theres no shot he has abs hello?? (is this a personal bias? maybe but shhh) I also do wish we got more of his backstory in the reboots or really any backstory at all.

-How long have you been a part of the fandom?

I've been online and contributing on-and-off since 2009! before that, i was a lurker for a year or two. cars fanfiction on ffnet got me into writing and changed the entire course of my life, which is pretty hilarious. I've only taken 2 breaks from the fandom in my life- from about 2012-2016 (i focused on x-men during this time), and then in mid 2020-mid 2024 (focused on minecraft). my favorite early contribution to the fandom has to be this fanart of doc and lightning. note the date posted ;) and yes, that is oldschool DA-speak <3

I was always an artist and writer- i was writing, illustrating, and binding my own little 'books' at age 5. i liked to draw and write, so i did. a few years later, this naturally extended to cars. i got online and started sharing, and i've never stopped. later on, the cars 3 hype period led me to create a discord account in 2017. in the ensuing chaos of discords being deleted repeatedly, i was recruited by someone similarly responsible-minded and set up the carburetor county server, which still stands today. ive met some of the most wonderful people thru that server/thru tumblr and in this fandom.

-Who is your favorite character and why?

HEHEHE. well first of all, i should start by saying ive always loved anthropomorphic machines. i grew up on ttte. for my 3rd birthday they got me an engineer's cap. they used to take me trainspotting to calm me down. now, picture 7 year old me standing in front of the CRT cassette-cabinet, excitedly playing the brand-new Incredibles 2-disc DVD set on our brand-new DVD player in november 2004, and lightning mcqueen appears onscreen. oh i was done for from the start. its been 20 long years of Favorite Character. and seeing Cars finally, after a year and a half of tv commercials? i was lightning mcqueen at recess. i started the fourth grade and introduced myself by saying i'd watched Cars over the summer and that everyone else should, too. the only merch i owned was an empty promotional cereal box because the lightning mcqueen mcdonalds toy was impossible to come by, so if i wanted to see any pictures of the characters i had to look at the cereal box because there was no computer and the movie wasnt on dvd yet. ah but the question is Why. obviously i must have some form of autism or adhd or something, but beyond that there's still plenty reason. (i tried to write it out, but have a List Of Madness instead.) let's start out easy: he's fucking hilarious. he's mean, he speaks his mind, and hes got bite to go with the bark. his relentless bitchy nature makes him a perfect target for slapstick karma. he's clueless, he doesnt know anything. out loud he talks smack but his actions? theyre all sweet. complains about tractor tipping but goes with mater and hangs out anyway. goes 'yeah okay 🙄' to cruz but gives her his racing number. whines about the 'schoolbus of death' but he jumps in front to help without thinking. calls doc selfish and a liar but thinks about him when he gives up his dreams. he says 'light your neon' and they leave it on for 20 years. he takes puns literally. he snores. he drives like he's dancing. he has stress dreams. he cant act. he hallucinates. he's an insomniac. hes secretly a nervous wreck. hes braver than all of us combined. he's a blue-eyed man who punches the walls. everyone hates him. everyone loves him. he refused to sign any racing deals unless mack was his hauler. he has to pave the stupid road and do character-building manual labor but by god hes going to do a good job. he's going to figure out that stupid turn and better himself even if he's up all night because he refuses to give up. when smokey reminds him that people care about him and asks him to find himself again, he lifts his chin and says 'yes sir' like he means it. he's also a really cool vehicle, like on a technical level. and his design kicks ass. incredible mix of 'cute talking cartoon car' and 'holy shit thats an awesome piece of machinery'. (i would show some of my spec notes but theyre at least 20% headcanon). hes detailed, hes lovingly made and developed and cared for as a character. this all doesnt even Begin to cover why i like LMQ honestly, none of this is the type of deeper character analysis i would Like to say. but to me, he is the coolest guy ever, and he makes me very happy.

1 and 2: I've been a fan of Cars since 2006, when I saw it in the theater. Only within the last year have I gone balls-to-the wall with hyperfixating posting WOC art online, writing fanfiction, and generally interacting with the fandom...so I guess I'm pretty new to the things, here. I'm not super active online because of my work schedule (I'm a groundskeepee for a local zoo), but I try the best I can with the time/energy I have at the end of the day.

3. Doc Hudson, hands-down. When I first saw the movie, I liked Doc...but thought he was being rude and unfair to Lightning. Fast forward a while to when I got my dream job, teaching college geology. After three years, I realized that the admins didn't give a shit about education and that they seemed to be doing everything in their power to shut down anything that myself, or other professors, tried to do for the student body. I quickly became disillusioned by the apathy and lack of support...and I had to resign because the stress was literally killing me. I know now that this is a common theme in higher ed...but all I wanted to do was teach. To see that flame of understanding kindled in the eyes of my students...

To lose that, was like having my soul pureed in a blender, and I...havent been able to teach since.

Every time I hear Doc's line "there was a lot left in me, and I never got the chance to show 'em"...I tear up. He's still reeling from an apathy that ended his career ..and I understand how hard that feeling can be to rebound from, how you can lock everything in a garage and hide behind a new personality... because your old life is too painful to think about.

I don’t usually write headcanons. Anyone else like crossovers or is it just me? Just me, okay.

FFXIV x Bleach

🔷 Somehow you find yourself reincarnated into the soul society, anew but memory intact. You remember everything of your life as the WoL/WoD/Azem

🔷 Perhaps your memories are etched upon your soul because of your convocation stone, which incidentally enough is still on your person. To what extent it can be used though, you don’t know.

🔷 You have ‘moments’ where it’s clear you need to learn to control your reiatsu in this new world.

🔷 Your echo, once again, comes randomly. (at least until you get your reiatsu in check)

🔷 When you’re unconscious you have vivid dreams or nightmares. The worst of them you wake surrounded by damages you caused unintentionally. The tamer of them you wake with a racing heart beat, soaked in pools of sweat, anger, or crying out of loss.

🔷 You try to meditate and train until you get accepted into the Spiritual Arts Academy (in attempts to get yourself in check).

🔷 You would think acceptance would come quick- afterall, you’re the WoL of Eorzea! But applications pile in like crazy and you’re just a grain of sand on a beach. It’s not instant. You’re also humble and don’t run around displaying your skills like an idiot, drawing attention to yourself. You help where you can, if you can, as you always have.

🔷 Finally you receive your acceptance letter and attend the Academy. You’ve also been given a Uniform and an Asauchi- that you wield for your entire duration at the academy.

🔷 You are now around peers, there’s no need to suppress yourself too much anymore, but there’s also no need to show off (unless that’s your style).

🔷 In-class exercises are a cinch for you. You’ve already seen it all in Eorzea.

🔷 Kido comes naturally with just about any class (caster, healer, MNK, NIN, BRD, etc). How many battles have you fought already, champion? The mastery is etched upon your soul. Don’t even need to recite the entire spell chant to cast a kido, but you do it anyways to simply know it and put on a performance of sorts. In real battle of course, you would do no such thing. Every second in battle is valuable.

🔷 If you were a Healer/RDM, healing comes naturally to you.

🔷 Danku comes naturally if you were a class with barriers - SGE/SCH/RDM - yes even GNB (there’s one built into their skillset). Give that some thought.

🔷 Unlocking your Shikai comes easily. Unlocking your Bankai requires protecting something or someone important to you, with every ounce of your willpower. But you don’t know that until the moment comes.

🔷 Your Shikai is similar to Venat’s. You have the ability to swap around your class kits at will. For example; I’m currently in RDM. I see a massive blast heading my direction and 2 of my allies are behind me. Shikai! -changes to PLD- I now have the entire PLD skill kit and I can now use ‘Passage of Arms’ and shield them.

🔷 Your Bankai is Limit Break and charges similarly to Ikkaku’s. The more time spent in battle, the more charge it has, meaning it can become LB1, LB2, or LB3. Hehehe~

🔷 Hydaelyn’s Blessing? (a friend wants it added) I’m not sure how I want this thrown in here. Perhaps it prevents enemies from mind hi-jacking you to their side. That’s the best I can come up with here.

🔷 And a new glamour with each Shikai class change, or no? Like Ichigo’s Bankai. Up to you or not, as well. Personally I’m going to go the simple route with the standard Shinigami Shihakusho garb and some accessories to spice it up. I will say however, my WoL-Shinigami will get some fancy weapons.

🔷 I like the idea of either having Ardbert or Fray as your Zanpakuto. More-so the latter (as much as I love Ardbert- there’s a reason for this). Ardbert is a part of you, as is Fray. It makes sense to me, that both could fit the role perfectly. But if you’ve completed the DRK questline, you know well that you try to keep that defined line between yourself and Fray just as much as you accept them.

 - "In your darkest hour, in the blackest night... think of me... and I will be with you. Always. For where else could I go? Who else could I love but you?"

Golden Deer!! Fear the Deer!! (FE3H was the first fire emblem I really got into, fandom-wise, since Shadow Dragon)

Azure Moon orz

I still technically haven't played that one, I've just watched my partner play it... But Azure Gleam in 3Hopes was my favorite route, so I kinda wanna go back and play AM on my own now...

6. ✨ Which route is your favorite?

Toss-up between GD, which I am sentimental about and I think has the best standalone no-additional-context-needed story, and SS, which lets me side with the cool dragon people and I thought was a really fun/interesting narrative foil to BE (also... Seteth fulfilling the role of lord retainer... I am a simple person)

9. ✨ What is your favorite scene in the game (can be in the main story or a support convo)?

It's not very interesting but Chapter 6 and Chapter 9 were my favorites. I didn't know enough to expect that Jeralt's days were numbered so when he died, and when we got to see this unemotional/silent protagonist actually grieving him, I just got really invested.

Also, re: chapter 6, Seteth is A Wreck and I like that in a man. I also really like the white dragon scarf event and I like that the events in that chapter only become more insidious the more context you have.

Oddly, it's this one!! (Setleth Rhondos Coast retelling, with some added emotions) I just think it holds up really well!!

I've had horrible writer's block lately... 🥺👉👈 But I do have this silly idea that just boils down to "Rhea knows Seteth is sleeping with someone and is giving him shit for it" that I come back to whenever I want to laugh. Here's a snippet:

Seteth... obviously. 😅 I just like how multifaceted he and Rhea turn out to be, and his teatime lines are just really... sweet. I also unironically love inviting Hubert to tea heheh, he's so dramatic I love him.

40. ✨ What character do you always recruit, no matter which route you are playing and why?

Seteth is an auto-recruit sooo... Lorenz and Ferdinand!! Look, I KNOW Lorenz is a disaster but I love his character development no matter what route he's on, and I like making him a dark knight. Ferdinand I recruit mostly to be a good influence on Lorenz, and also because I think he's such a strong personality that he adds narrative interest no matter what route you're doing (he's either throwing everything he has into helping the Empire or he's throwing everything he has into opposing it, and I think both sides are interesting).

41. ✨ What is a favorite character headcanon (can be one you came up with or one you liked / adopted from someone else)?

With regards to the extra lore we got in Hopes, I like the idea that all the Nabateans' hair used to be lighter/blonder when they were in close proximity to the Goddess. I would kill for more art/writing 👏 exploring 👏 that!

I also headcanon a religious schism between Rhea & Seteth where she is of the belief that the Goddess isn't dead and could possibly return at any moment, and he (at least up until the events of the game) thinks that the Goddess is definitely dead and gone. It's subtle, but it adds some extra interest for me.

I ALSO really like that one crack theory I've seen floating around that Kronya and Ferdinand are somehow related. What this means for the story, I have no idea, I just think it's neat :)

4. What is your favorite genre to write for?

My gosh, I really love writing angst, drama, comedy, and romance. If you check my ffnet account, a lot of my old stuff was whimsical, comedic stuff that... probably aged badly, hahah. Some day, I want to try my hand at horror and adventure.

I also like writing character introspection and analyses. However, my long time love is writing interactions between characters that have had little to no canon interactions.

14. What is something that you feel weird/uncomfortable writing about?

I think it depends on context? If we’re talking about this blog where I specifically rely on requests, well... I really don’t like mischaracterizing characters and sometimes I get requests where the scenario depicted goes against my personal understanding of the character.

I remember receiving a request where the male character was supposed to be jealous that his love interest was getting attention from her coworkers, but like—!!! I headcanon that the male character is more than secure in his position to his love interest. Plus, the request made it sound like the love interest didn’t have the agency to say no/was powerless to stop advances even though my headcanons are like... the love interest can and will punch someone’s lights out if they so wished. Whenever that happens, I usually twist the situation where it still follows the spirit of the request, but adding or subtracting elements from the scenario and giving some characters more agency and... character to justify their actions.

Honestly, I put a lot of respect into the characters I write for and it makes me uncomfortable if I try to portray something that demeans them.

As for personal stuff that I do on my own time... NSFW? I wanna try, hehehe, but all I have are my imagined scenarios. One day, though!!!

And... I suppose experiences or processes that I don’t have the background for. In that case, a LOT of research has to be done.

16. Where do you find inspiration to write?

I rely a lot on this blog, but I suppose opening myself to new experiences, reading stories and fanfics, and listening to music helps. Furthermore, I also use writing as a way to cope with my stress and poor mental health, so there’s that.

19. Show us the line you want readers to remember from your story.

Ooooohhhhhhh! My gosh, do you have a specific story in mind??? I would like to know which one you think is good, hehe. I guess one line that sticks with me, no matter how many years it’s been is a passage from The Winter Traveler which you can find on my ffnet account.

Yooooooo! This and my South Italy centric story I has always been my favorites in terms of some of my more recent works! :DDD

And for your last question:

Hehehe, I don’t mind you using the default on me. Feminine or not, you can’t deny that a lot of people who present as more feminine do write more fanfic and participate more in fandom spaces. (I think the demographics are changing, though, considering that I remember that mindset from the 2010s).

As for masculine writing??? That’s so cool! I actually smiled when you wrote that. Is there a particular reason why you say it’s masculine? I think it’s because I usually default to gender neutral readers and in doing so, I refrain from making mentions to body type, hair, certain features, etc. to make it more inclusive.

tokyo mew mew review pt. 2 !!! ( spoilers ! )

I’m back again! now discussing ms. Zacro formally joining mew mews ! this will be a much less broad commentary but instead just touching up on the things I’d like to hehehe

there were an amazing amount of filler episodes but they were all good so I can't complain

I loved this scene animated Oh my GODDDDD THEYRE BOTH SO CUTE EEEEEE she really said " I wouldn't be staring if you just had a shirt on 🙄" but ! i have one complaint. in the manga, there's this sweet, little moment of transparency between the two. her just running away is hilarious by itself.

as a member of the lgbtq+ community, I obviously cannot express how much I love to see queer content in the magical girl genre, or in anything really. but!!! the one thing that really sticks out in Tokyo Mew Mew is how... unbothered everyone is with Mint’s crush on the idol Zacro Fujiwara. in both the manga and anime alike, it’s no secret how utterly infatuated Mint is with her, and no one had a thing to say about it other than the teasing that literally anyone would do if their close ( and usually quite cold and serious ) friend was down bad, regardless of who the object of their affections was. she’s even, in the anime, is caught with a photo book ( J-pop idol photo books are typically, from my own experience, bikini modeling, “ fan service ”, and the likes ) which Pudding then proceeds to chop the fuck up. 

Actually, I really loved this scene as a whole. If my memory serves me, literally none of this happened in the manga, but I can’t complain. 

Lettuce comes in with a magazine ? newspaper ? with a front page article about what looks like a Mew Mew, including a photo which contains nothing but a dark silhouette. Everyone starts to panic and, instead of battling their worry with basic fact, Bu-ling begins comparing the figure of the silhouette to each of the known Mew Mews. ( This alone was hilarious because she whipped out a picture of them in swimsuits, one which no one recalls being taken. )

It was meant to be humorous, calling both Ichigo and Mint flat* and Lettuce “ too curvy* “, but for me, personally, I like to headcanon the body types of different characters in manga and anime. Typically, in anime or manga, the only real differentiation between bodies is maybe height and, among girls, whether or not they have big boobs 🙄 Bodies in real life, of course, vary much more than just these vague details, so I guess it was nice to see that applied even if it was just by verbal affirmation.

* I don’t believe that this is in any way body-shaming but directly, factually comparing their bodies to that in the photo

This all occurred rather quickly in the manga, but, in the anime, there were a ton of added details and scenes. So much so that I was beginning to think “ hey.... is this gonna be anything like the manga ??? ” But, amazingly, it all came full circle and I was very, very satisfied with how it turned out.

Still... there was one thing I wanted to specifically touch up on. You see, in my last little commentary post, I mentioned how happy I was with a large amount of the suggestive / sexual content being omitted, and it should be pretty obvious as to why. No matter what we do, however, there is one obstacle which makes it pretty difficult to avoid these scenes altogether. That is... the predatory nature of our main antagonist, Quiche. ( Quiche, Kisshu, Kishi... whatever you like to call him, I fuckin’ hate this guy. )

* heavy sigh * Well... amidst the grand conflict of the 11th episode, something really concerning happens. I won’t describe it in detail, but ! it seems like he’s attempting to sexually assault Ichigo. He throws her onto the ground and gets on top of her, to say the least. Love this ( /s )

“ It’s troublesome if four other girls like you appear at once, but it’s not hard if I do it one by one. But, I won’t kill you, Ichigo. You’re my important toy. “

She knees him in the balls though. Thank god.

Of course, ofcourseofcourseoFCOURSE, I hate this. I really, really, really, hate this. But, I must say that there’s one thing I am happy ( ? ) about. That is... how sheerly negative this is portrayed. You see, throughout the manga up until now, every suggestive scene exists purely for shock value or for the giggles of the viewers, whether they be teenage girls or... unfortunately... men. 

In this scene, though, it is shown quite clearly, I think, that this is bad. She’s struggling and fighting her off of him. It’s unpleasant to watch.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that instead of someone making perverted comments, instead of an older boy lifting up her skirt, instead of a non-consensual kiss from a stranger... all with no, idk, point to say “ Hey, this is wrong “, we have something, unfortunately, more extreme but with the message that this is wrong.

Oh!! I was listening "genius" and this headcanon just come to my mind

•The farmer is a genius in chemistry!! But they never wanted to stay all their life in a lab 🥺

•And after two years in pelican town, the farmer married Sebastian.

•they knew the bad habits of him (don't eat and sleep property, stay a lot of time in the computer for his job, etc) but living with him they started to do get worried about it.

•So they wanted to help him!! in a discreet way because they are shy 🥺🥺. But they never hides anything from Sebastian about giving him something, they know that it's bad. And always they wanted to feel sure that the things that is giving to Seb are good for him and they don't have anything bad, so they are careful when they make it.

• Sometimes, the farmer go to Sebastian and they said something like "I tasted this pumpkin juice because someone recommended it, the person who makes this said that it's good for the eyes and for sleep better" Sebastian was curious and he taste it.

• THE JUICE WAS ACCEPTED!!! When Sebastian said that it's not just delicious, it also works!!! The farmer was really happy 🥺 they tasted it first and it works, but they didn't know if Sebastian will like it.

This was all that I could thought, I wanted to make the reaction of seb when he discover that the farmer makes this healthy juices but no thing comes to my mind

Adding to that, the farmer and Maru would get along well haha. Maru would also want the best for Seb (even tho they are awkward with each other) so I headcanon that both the farmer and Maru would come up and devise plans to help Seb get into better health haha!!

The farmer would literally spend blood, sweat, and tears in making concoctions for Sebastian!! They want him to be healthier but they also want him to enjoy in doing so! They carefully plan their ideas out!

The rest of the class periods you had with him, there was something about you that brought his attention back to you

“Well you cant expect people to suddenly accept friendship, Nagisa,” Haru spoke as he ate his lovely mackerel

“But isn’t that how Nagisa is?” Kou asked, spending the day with the team. “He’s persistent”

“He really is. He wouldn’t leave me alone when I was still on the track team but I guess with his persistence, I did end up joining the team,” Rei added

“But be patient. Everyone has different personalities and it may be harder for others to open up.”

He took these words from his friends to his heart

He began to talk to you lightly, partnering with you during science labs, cleaned up the classroom with you at the end of the day before his club met for practice

He didn’t push you out of your comfort zone except a few times, but he caught himself and apologized

He found himself being too direct at times which made it a bit hard at first since he was very straight forward

But with you, he felt like it was worth it

It felt like he was getting nowhere with you but this feeling he had that made him drawn to you was still there

And it was getting stronger

He found himself thinking about you suddenly when he was doing his breast stroke during practice

You went on to open up about your past, how burdened you felt to your old “friends” but to him,

From that day on, Nagisa continued his efforts to make you feel comfortable enough to open up to him and you did

You stood behind him as he introduced you to his team, suddenly feeling so small seeing Rei, Haru, and Makoto

He, of course being Nagisa, asked you why you were blushing so hard seeing them but you were just intimidated by their height

But they were super kind to you

You felt even better seeing Kou when Nagisa invited you to a practice

You had math class with her but not Nagisa  

She was very open and easy going, making you feel comfortable

She even talked about muscles with you and showed you a couple of her magazines but she steered clear of it when she saw you becoming shy once again

You found yourself, very surprisingly, walking with Nagisa and Kou to their practice even though you weren’t a manager or a swimmer

Nagisa personally walked with you to the metro and rode it with you until your stop which was fortunately before his

During a school wide festival, you stuck with him and he stuck with you as you two ventured around the school, eating all the various foods in the cafeteria that was made to look like food stands

Played the little games together in the gym and eventually met up with the others and went about as a group together around school

You felt so open around Nagisa, and now the others

He really was such a great person in your life

You saw him in your dreams after late practices

As it got a bit later, the small team began to leave, “going home” but it was all for Nagisa

“We’ll have the best view of the fireworks from here!” He said as he held your hand, walking courageously through the bushy path

He took you to this wide clearing at the top of a cliff with the beach below, the soothing sound of the breeze and ocean washing along the shore filling your ears

The pale moon looked so beautiful over the night horizon, the sky so bright and filled with stars

You were amazed never seeing a sight like this when you lived in the city

Nagisa could feel his smile spreading on his face seeing how wide your eyes were, the stars shining so clearly in your eyes

You looked so lovely whenever you were in his eyes

He couldn’t take them off of you

“Y/N, I like you” he confessed

He couldn’t read the expression on your face but you were thankful it was night time so he couldn’t see how red your face was

“Re-really?” You stammered over your words, feeling your heart beat faster in your chest

How was he able to just say things like this so easily

“So do you? Do you feel the same way?” He asked, tilting his head a bit

The two of you were alone in his space on the cliff: there was no one else besides just the two of you and your feelings

- and suddenly all the mf villagers begin apologizing and packing their things up, acting like they never started a riot in the first place

Okay first things first, they will have a hard time ‘sharing’ you. They’re both really assertive characters and their personalities would for sure clash. 

They’re very competitive. 

What’s probably even weirder is how they resolve their arguments. If you expect them to sit down and shake it out b o i you’re dead wrong.

Honestly, if you catch them in the middle of doing some stupid shit, don’t be surprised.

More often than not, you feel like the mediator between them. You kind of keep them balanced – stop them from going overboard, though admittedly, it’s rare when they reach such a point. 

Their unspoken contest keeps them on their toes and that’s just how they like it.  

They also really appreciate how you spare them the psychoanalysis – they get enough of it when they’re thrown into Arkham and treated like odd spectacles. 

They’re really possessive/protective. If someone even so much as thinks of threatening you, or, even more idiotic, makes it known they ARE, best believe they’re bringing out the big guns. They’ll rain hellfire upon them. This is perhaps the only time where the dynamic duo can work together.

A lot of the times they take their frustration out in other activities. If something doesn’t go as ‘planned,’ you’re gonna have a hard time walking tomorrow.

Acts like the biggest hardass → he likes to portray there’s nothing more to his image other than the ‘agent of chaos,’ but you come to realise this is definitely not the case. 

In the dead of night, when he returns from whatever havoc he’s stirred, he crawls into your bed and pulls you against him, arms embracing you loosely.

This is when he’s at his most affectionate. His exhaustion most likely adds to those falling walls. 

Most of the time he thinks you’re asleep when this occurs but, spoiler, you’re not; the gentle upturn of your lips the only indication of such. You don’t think you’d ever give the fact away either, fearful of him receding back into his shell to the point where affection is null. Either way, you’re happy with him.

By the morning, he’s gone, already making plans (or executing them).

He seldom shows you his actual face, behind all the makeup. In all honesty, you don’t know the reasoning behind this, and you don’t think you ever will. While he’s blunt, he’s just as secretive; there’s always something going on in the back of his mind. 

Perhaps it’s insecurity, discomfort, or, more simply, the ‘persona’ of ‘Joker’ is just what resonates with him. The man underneath is someone he no longer identifies with. The man he’s become – who he’s worked so hard to manifest – is his true self.
