Really stupid au where when they were younger, Kakashi and Obito shared an accidental kiss a lot like Sasuke and Naruto. (Kakashi commits to his mask shortly after but will never not insist it's unrelated)
Years later and Kakashi, trying to cheer up Naruto and Sasuke ab their own embaressing accidental first kiss, shares his own story
Then, years later when Obito reveals himself on the battlefield, instead of going "woah, another Uchiha!?" when he hears his name, Naruto can't help but point and shout OH MY GOD UR THE GUY WHO KISSED SENSEI!!!!!!!!
Instant dead silence. (Obito wants to die)
Sakura, who never heard the story ab how it was a one time accidental kiss: "omg... sensei's childhood boyfriend went evil on him... this is so fucked up"
Obito is VIOLENTLY thrown off by this turn of events (and also hasn't actually thought ab it in years oh my god that did happen didn't it)
Kakashi, seeing how badly it threw him off, and also the kind of person who plays hard into throwing people off and generally fucking w them to gain an edge, seeing Sakura mumbling ab lovers to enemies and just kinda goes "Yeah Obito I can't believe you'd do this to me I thought we had smthn special."
"Yeah a rivalry????"
"So I was only ever a way for u to get stronger,, figures u were using me,,,"
[Confused Obito car crash noises]
Sakura yells smthn ab him being a deadbeat and how Kakashi can do so much better and Naruto is instantly shouting in agreement as Sasuke stands there like "hn." Which is basically the same thing for him
Kakashi just starts straight up lying actually
"What about all those picnics we went on... watching the sun set over konoha..."
"Are you talking about when Minato said we weren't allowed to come back inside till we stopped arguing and ate on opposite ends of the roof bc we couldn't even look at eachother without yelling???"
"It was so romantic."
Obito, starting to actually doubt himself, "was that a date????"
(It was not.)
"You died in my arms..."
"I died under a rock"
"We literally got eye married" (not a thing, he just made this up 3 seconds ago)
"We got WHAT" (no one can prove him wrong tho bc no surviving Uchiha knows that much ab their clans marriage traditions)
"Oh my god sensei's husband is a deadbeat" - sakura, horrified (and maybe a little delighted)
"Figures." -Sasuke, who's been in proximity w Obito for some time now and absoloutley believes every word ab this topic Kakashi is saying
"Woah. This is almost as bad as the fact he murdered my parents when I was a baby dattebayo" - Naruto who's priorities are NOT what they should be
"Ok. I wouldn't go that far." - Sasuke, who's priorities are also fucked but not THAT fucked, oh my god Naruto
"No, no he's right. We should kill him even harder for this" - Sakura, who doesn't actually agree but wants an excuse for more juicy sensei love drama (and also wants to see Obito beaten to death anyways)

One of the things that always really fascinated me about Sakura's character is how manipulative she is.
I was rewatching the anime with my partner because it was their first time, and when Sakura finds Sasuke to beg him not to go to Orochimaru, my partner said that they were a little disappointed that romance was emphasized in that scene over friendship, and I said, "You know, I think Sakura would have told Sasuke she loved him whether she did or didn't. She knows that he cares about her. I think Sakura would say anything she had to to get him to stay."
And the most obvious example of this is when she does that exact thing to Naruto before the Five Kage Summit, lying about having feelings for him in order to save him, and that scene is what I was referencing when I made the comment, but throughout the course of the anime, there are several other moments where Sakura either outright lies and cons or uses her feelings as a weapon to get her way.
She does it right when Team 7 is formed, when Naruto plays the eraser prank on Kakashi. Her inner monologue shows that she thinks it's hilarious, but instead she puts up this facade. She berates Naruto because she thinks it'll make her appear cooler to Sasuke, and she tells Kakashi that she told Naruto not to do it and that she would never do something like that because she wants to portray herself as not only superior to Naruto but as the good one, the innocent one, the one who can do no wrong.
She does it to Sai, Kiba, and Lee when she knocks them unconscious so that she can go kill Sasuke by herself. She does it when tells Sasuke that she wants to join him so that she can get close to him. She does it again when, at the end of the war, she begs Sasuke one last time. She even does it in Sasuke Retsuden when she cons Penjira at cards and reveals that she's been doing the same to Tsunade for years. And these are just off the top of my head, I'm sure there's more.
Basically I'm saying that everyone should consider themselves lucky that Sakura's on Konoha's side because if she was the one with the villain arc? She'd be ruthless.
#like imagine if Sakura wanted to kill Naruto#she'd get in close to him by telling him she wanted to come home and he'd be so happy#and she'd put her fist through his heart#sasuke could never#to be very clear I adore Sakura to pieces and I love her for her character flaws#so using this post as an excuse to bash her or her relationships with naruto and/or sasuke isn't welcome#naruto#sakura haruno#sakura#sasuke#naru#team 7#mine#meta analysis

Concerning Kakashi's skill as a teacher, I think a lot of the differing opinions how good he is is caused by differing ideas of what he's supposed to do. I've seen a lot of fanfic that "fixes" him and makes him more of a drill sergeant, having him decide how team 7 trains and what roles they take. A more true to canon take, I think, is that his job is to be more of team leader than having a master-apprentice kinda role. He teaches mission procedures, handing clients, and basically how to live as a ninja. He could probably give them some advice, about actual jutsu and stuff, maybe recommend certain teachers, make sure they aren't being irresponsible, etc. I think that he shouldn't have had to teach them tree walking, that being something they discover on their own, maybe with hints, but had to ignore subtlety due to the Wave mission. Like, the only other sensei that actually seems to be teaching their assigned student actual jutsu is Gai and Lee, everyone else, even close pairs like Asuma and Shikamaru, seems to be more like role models, or mentors. Idk if I'm explaining it right. TLDR Kakashi's a good sensei, his role in team 7 was never to be a drill sergeant/combat instructor, that role is fulfilled by master/apprentice relationships like Gai and Lee, and Sannin and team 7.
I may be wrong, but I don’t ever recall questioning Kakashi’s teaching skills. Heeeck, I’m one of his most ardent defenders 😊 lol. But I do also recognize his humanity.
I think Kakashi became a better sensei over time, but didn’t necessarily start out as a “good” sensei. But, before anyone jumps on me, that’s the nature of any job; especially one you never wanted. You learn by experience. A fresh, out of school, green neophyte on their first day ever on the job anywhere is not going to be as skilled as someone who’s been there 20 years, five years, or even just one year.
Kakashi, as a sensei, was just as confused as Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were as students. Dude was winging it, because there wasn’t any other way. He wasn’t expecting them to pass, nobody else ever passed his test before and he didn’t have enough faith in the Konoha ninja education system to believe they’d create a team of kids who could work as a team. He was only in school for a year, if that, so he didn’t know what those kids were learning. So, he wasn’t prepared. Or even lowkey, he may not have wanted them to pass because it meant, omg, I have to be responsible for other people, tiny other people, tiny other people with no skills.
In Anbu, yes, he was a captain, but that was different. Anbu was loneliness. Anbu was darkness. Anbu members were expected to be cold-blooded killers. And Anbu members typically weren’t 12 (he, Itachi, and Yamato/Tenzo were exceptions). He also didn’t have to teach; just train. Different ballgame.
Anyway, I digress, back to Team 7, one was the son of his sensei who he trying desperately to not remember because it hurt, not to mention the kid was feral (yeah, I said it, 12-year-old OG Naruto was feral - severe neglect will do that); another was the last member of his clan that was brutally murdered under the authority of the village, so that kid was a just a wee bit unhinged; and the third was the this little kunoichi that from his perspective probably shouldn’t have been in the ninja world in the first place because it was a cruel, cold, brutal life and she was “normal.” He didn’t know what to do with a normal kid - he was never one. In the end, he accepted the situation for what it was and learnt as much as he taught. And that’s the beauty of it - the teacher became the student and the students became the teacher.
It seems like the academy teaches bare basics - heck, he graduated in a year at age 5. I’m not downplaying his skills by any means, just stating the freak of nature that he is, completed years long training in just a fraction of that time and not sure if that says something about him or the education system - they weren’t prepared to work with prodigious kids and that says a lot. Yeah yeah yeah somebody will say they were at war, so they let the brat graduate. But that’s another post.
Anyway, that being said, I agree the academy should teach more. I strongly believe they should, at a bare minimum, learn their chakra nature while there. That seems like common sense. Just give out the litmus paper and test them and group them accordingly (I find it hard to believe that there are a bunch of shinobi going around not knowing what nature they have. Guess it would be based in your clan??). The basics of chakra control, water walking, tree climbing, etc… Makes you wonder what the heck they did teach them while there. I’m beginning to think it was just regular school and they learned some “cool ninja stuff” here and there - clones, substitution jutsu, taijutsu…
That being said, from what I garner, your clan is supposed to teach you their secrets and jutsu. Your sensei can’t do that. The school is supposed to teach you the basics 🤷🏽♀️. And your sensei is supposed to hone those skills. Take you on missions so you can learn in the field. Train your skills. Find your talents and strengths and enhance them.
As for Gai, Asuma, and Kurenai. I believe they all trained their students in different ways. My girl Kurenai doesn’t get much screen or page time, so you don’t know what she did or didn’t do or the hours she put in with them. Same for Asuma. You only get to see Gai’s team so much because Rock Lee is so awesome Gai is Kakashi’s rival, so more screen time by proxy. That’s not to say Asuma and Kurenai didn’t spend hours upon hours training their squads. Which I believe they did because at the end of the day, the K12 kicked butt and that required intensive training. Remember, all because you don’t see it happening, doesn’t mean it didn’t. They’re all amazing sensei in their own right. If you think about it, all those kids made it to the Chunin Exams, meaning a minimum of 8-9 missions. Remember Iruka tested Team 7 before the exam to see if they were ready. Thinking or hoping someone tested the other teams too. Which means those sensei had to put in time with them.
As for drill sergeant Kakashi, not sure if you’ve ever taken martial arts, but I have/do. Sensei are not the nicest people by any means- out of the dojo, they can be, but on the mat, when training, you might as well have a drill sergeant. They yell in your face, they throw you around (painfully). They want you to be serious and understand the seriousness of it. They are training you to fight and yes, you do learn techniques that can be lethal and how to use weapons irl. So, they have to be serious and they do work with you based on your own skillset. So, there’s some merit to that, historically. So, in a world that’s built around the shinobi system, Kakashi as a drill sergeant-sensei is possible and that doesn’t make him any more/less good or bad than the other sensei. Same for Kakashi as mentor-sensei. I think he became Team Leader Kakashi with the introduction of Team Kakashi, when he acknowledged them as his equal. But at the end of the day, why can’t he be all three? There’s a time and place for each role and no one size fits all approach to teaching. At the end of the day he was trying his best. They all were. And he was a good, but flawed, sensei. They all were.

I’ve seen a handful of people in the Naruto fandom complain about Naruto using force or threatening to use force on Sasuke in an attempt to bring him back to Konoha and I want to talk about it. Not to complain about the fandom again or to discuss my thoughts on the argument, don’t worry. I just want to point out that the story actually agrees with this sentiment.
(As a quick aside/reminder, most major fights double as the characters involved having a conversation/debate and all of Naruto and Sasuke’s are meant to be visual representatives of their beliefs/perspectives/goals clashing and shouldn’t be taken literally.)
Naruto first goes after Sasuke at the end of part 1 and attempts to drag him back to Konoha by force. He doesn’t understand Sasuke’s motives at all, he nearly dies, and, more importantly, he fails his mission. He tries to bring Sasuke back again at the start of shippuden, this time by convincing him, but he fails to listen to/understand Sasuke’s motives and subsequently fails to bring Sasuke back. (Side note: Naruto attempts to find Sasuke by chasing Itachi, but how he intends to bring Sasuke back is unclear so I can’t say much here.) Then the Pain arc happens where two important things happen: 1. Jiraiya, Kakashi, and many of the other people he knows and loves die and his home gets destroyed. 2. He learns to use his empathy/emotional intelligence consciously and put effort into understanding the motivations of his opponents. Basically, he has a personal point of comparison to Sasuke’s backstory/motivations and he starts putting effort into truly understanding Sasuke. The next, and last, time Naruto tries to bring Sasuke back to Konoha is at the end of Shippuden. The two of them fight, Naruto fully understands why Sasuke is doing what he’s doing even if he doesn’t agree with it, and only then does Naruto succeed in his mission when Sasuke returns to Konoha of his own free will.
The series doesn’t blatantly state it, but it very clearly paints Naruto’s attempts to force Sasuke back as the wrong decision that doesn’t work. His attempts are proof that he doesn’t understand Sasuke and still has a lot to learn. The series is about people coming together through understanding so it makes sense that Naruto and Sasuke’s relationship only gets mended after the two finally reach an understanding.

“baby!!" you shouted out to your redheaded boyfriend who was in his home office. he hummed in acknowledgment. "we should go out."
"what do you mean my love, we just went out to the movies yesterday." his eyes never leaving the paperwork that laid across the desk. you sucked your teeth from the lack of attention and pouted.
"baby I just wanna spend time with you." you walked towards him, slumping your arms around his shoulders, breath fanning his neck triggering him to shudder. "I know sweetheart but I have so much work to do."
"fine." you walked away with your arms crossed leaving his little office. he sighed ruffling his hair getting back to work.
・❥・
"yea hinata so tell me why this fucking carrot top head ass nigga gon say some oh 'we just went to the movie the other day and I got so much work to do?’” you finger quoted, ranting to hinata on facetime.
"like on konoha, nigga, you ain't no damn alexander hamilton on some 'I have so much work to do.' oooh his ginger headed ass get on my nerves." hinata bursts out laughing.
"yo like deadass naruto starting to get me tight too. he always hanging around that bum ass nigga sasuke even though sasuke ass do him wrong li-ter-ral-ly all the time." you shake your head at the mention of the boy with brother issues scratch that family issues. "-and he always talm bout some 'I got demons in me but you help me get through it', but never be here with me. like how the fuck does that make sense?"
sighing you scratched your head then a lightbulb went off. "yo I just wanna have sex, like angrily… angry sex. imma need to make this nigga mad though, but how?" "that thought was so random y/n." laughter poured from her mouth as it slowly died down. "be on ft with one of his boys and flirt with them in front of him ooohhh.. maybe I should do that."
you ‘oohed’ as you thought it through. "but who would I talk to? you know this nigga lowkey don’t got friends." hinata chuckled shrugged. "I heard that he 'just' got on good terms with lee so try him, you might wanna text him and tell him it's a prank and you not responsible for the consequences tho."
"yooo that's smart lowkey but he fall for people to easy. I would say you could facetime sasuke since that's basically naruto's lil boyfriend but no one want his busted ass but that sakura hoe."
"lol you mean for that but who should I talk to?" she questioned. "talk to that nigga kiba, he and naruto got some weird beef going on plus he kinda cute and he got that cute ass dog 'maru."
"girl you right. ight i'm finna put this plan into motion i'll let you know how it goes tomorrow." she put up the peace sign and you did the same as she hung up. you started texting lee.
・❥・
the plan was set now all you had to do was wait. y'all's place wasn't that small but you could hear whenever gaara came out of his office, which meant that he could also hear you and it was currently almost 10pm. you were dressed in emerald green lingerie and a sheer green robe that had fluff at the ends.
you facetime’d lee getting into character while the phone rung. when he picked up his jaw dropped. he was bout to catch feelings. "damn y/n. you looking fine as always beautiful." you laughed putting your hand over your mouth a little bit. "stoopp i'm shy."
"girl you don't have anything to be shy about." he was kinda gassing your head up, you rolled your hand in a spiral motion, hinting at him to start acting more. "you know why I picked this color bae?" you inwardly gagged at calling him the word.
he bit his lip slowly letting his bottom lip fall from in between his teeth. "why babygirl?" you seen him leaned back in his chair his hand fiddling with the string on his basketball shorts.
you hear gaara's footsteps arriving at the stairs. "because I know it's your favorite color." he smiled through the screen feeling himself, green was his favorite color. "you right bae now give me a spin." you comply the robe lying on the slope of your shoulders. "dammnn, you sooo fine babygirl." you laughed hearing gaara next to the door, "what would you do to me if you was here?"
biting your lip you bent in front of the camera a little. the door was ajar so gaara could see that you was on facetime but he didn't know with who.
you stood up a bit twisting your hip so that lee had a sneak of the back which coincidentally allowed gaara to get a sneak on the camera. "wanna know what I'd do to you if I was there-" his voice got cut off by a deeper one. "not a fuck thing." you fake startled. "baby it's not even-" "shut up y/n." your lips zipped shut and from the corner of your eye you could see lee pale.
"so I guess that beating a couple years back fucked up some brain cells, huh, lee? tell me right now if you wanna die bout this girl right here." he pointed towards you. "cuz you’re definitely not the first body I dropped and you know that, so wassup?"
"and you, y/n, don't be on no shit now. ask yourself if you ready to have his blood on ya conscience. you know I don't care about no shit like that. matter of fact i'll make you kill him." gaara breathed heavily, trying to keep his cool. you were frozen, you knew that it was gonna be intense, just not this intense. "y/n take this dude off your screen right now." you rushed to grab your phone and hung up on lee.
gaara held his hand out for your phone which you give as he sits on y'all's shared bed, manspreading. "so you just on facetime with another dude in the lingerie I brought? in our home at that?" you put your hands behind your back fiddling with your fingers, shifting back and forth as you faced the ground, like a child getting scolded you didn’t know what to say.
"I thought I was speaking so look at me when I talk to you." you obeyed, staring him in the eyes, the only thing you spotted was sadistic anger. he slid down his joggers showing his pretty pink tip, that was half hard, little beads of precum dripping down.
the lust dripped from in between your legs as he instructed you. "get on your knees for me sweetheart." the compassion in his voice was anything but, even still you followed his order. he caressed your cheek patting it softly. "so i'll give you a chance to explain yourself. why were you on the phone with lee?"
thinking of a quick response you replied. "cause I wanted some attention." gaara looked you in your eyes and it took everything in him not to slam your face on his dick.
"cuz you wanted some attention…” he slowly mocked. “alright princess i'll give you enough attention to last the week." your pussy throbbed at that. he took ahold of his shaft and jerked it a little before slapping it against your cheek. you giggled as he let you wrap your mouth around him, groaning aloud. 'damn it has been awhile.' his hand raised into your hair, your tongue swirled around his tip, your lips plush against the length of his cock the two toned skin looking so juicy as you slid up and down, saliva covering them.
he push back on your forehead a bit to get you to look at him. "damn princess~ c-can I hurt you a bit... just a little, please princess~" your lips popped off of his tip as you pumped his cock, licking them as you stared up into his eyes, low lidded and lust filled. "please do baby." your head was pushed back onto his dick as both of his hands took to the sides of your face, slamming you down on his hard-on your throat instantly getting stuffed taking you by surprise making you gag.
he thrusted up feeling your throat wrapping around him, squeezing tight. "f-fuck princess you must love sucking my dick huh~? look at allat drool on your chin." his thrusting continued as you began to feel him pulse in your throat.
"ugghh f-fuck sweetheart i'm finna cum." gaara let out a needy moan. "hah.... ah... ahh.... fuuucck. take all that cum princess~ mmmmh." he moaned as he stilled his cock twitched, warm liquid filled your throat causing you to choked slightly as you try to swallow with gaara still in your mouth. he pulled out of your mouth, saliva connecting from his cock to your chin before going a little limp, you laid your tongue against his heavy shaft, jerking it til you came off with a 'pop'. his sea green eyes looked down at you as you spoke. "I was just cleaning you off baby."
his eyes rolled back as a groan escaped his lips. "lay on your back on the bed." you stood on wobbly knees, the robe falling from your frame and climbed into the bed, watching as he crawled over you, his shadow blocking the led lights from your face. he nuzzled his face in your neck making you shudder from the breath he let out. kissing down your neck, between the valley of you breast pulling the bra underneath them, your brown buds perking up at the cool air and your stomach biting the chub a little til he arrived at in front of your clothed pussy.
while maintaining eye contact he removed your panties from your bottom half, your slick smeared around your pussy and the inner thighs, the thick brown flesh having a shine to it. gaara let out a low groan as he lifted and spread your legs. your brown pussy lips parting, opening it to reveal your warm, pink, and wet insides.
his arms folded around your abdomen as he drug you closer to him, flattening his tongue he licked between your folds, hot tongue moving upwards to your clit clamping down around it sucking harshly, making you jump before he let go. your hands gripped onto his ginger tresses motioning for him to continue as you grind your hips into his face, he pulls back, licking your juices from his lips, glaring coldly. he unraveled his arms from around your tummy, taking hold of your hands firmly pressing them onto the bed.
he took slow teasing licks around your clit making you whine. "fuucck gaara baby~ pleease fuck mee." your needy tone made his blood pump faster as he crawled over you again, this time placing his hand around your neck squeezing tightly. "you're such a slut aren’t you? huh? ‘must really love my dick?" he tsked before speaking again. "or you tryna fuck with lee now?" he squeezed tighter enough to the point where you felt the pressure start to constrict your airway, eyes rolling in pleasure as one of your hands softly held his wrist.
biting your lip, your hazy lust-filled eyes connect with his. "gaara~ imma slut just for you… ‘only want your dick~" his smirk widened as a sadistic giggle left his lips, he leaned forward giving you a sloppy kiss, his tongue licking your lips before he pulled away, thumb hooked into your mouth to keep it open as he spit in it, watching you swallow and stick your tongue out to show the pink muscle bare of his saliva.
he removed his hand from your throat to grip your jaw, fingers indenting in your cheeks making your lips smush together and tears filling your waterline, giving you another sloppy kiss before pulling back and shaking your face. “right answer sweetheart~ let's give you reward." he slid into you giving you little time to adjust, still upset from the stunt you pulled earlier, all 7.5 inches enter in your tight wet cunt, making you gasp at the intrusion as he moan over you, feeling his warm breath on your already heated body.
you clenched accidentally having gaara groan into your ear. "fuucckk~ don't do that." his hand let go of your face, forearm laid beside your head as his other hand gripped at your hip, his head laid on the bed, moan reaching your ear making you throb at the angelic sound, the weight of his cock not helping your situation causing you to tighten abruptly. "I can't help it baby~ f-fuck you're soo big." feeling your eyes water, you blinked away the tears as one of your hands ran through gaara's hair, and the other digging into his low waist, keeping him inside flush against you.
"d-damn sweetheart, your cunt’s fucking tight. ahhh.... fuucck." he pulled out gaining momentum, his thrusts speeding up, the squelching of your pussy getting louder as your legs wrapped around him. "’pussy so wet baby, you hear how fucking wet you are? mmmm shhit." heat rose from your cheeks as you listened to the mess your pussy was making, turning your face to the side as you gripped his hairs on the back of his neck. "gaaarraa." you whined as he kissed your neck feeling his smirk on your skin.
"don't be embarrassed now." he pulled away making you face him, the hand that was on your hip tilting your head to face him. he removed your arms from around him, taking both your hands shifting you upwards, to the headboard, telling you to hold onto it. he threw one of your legs over his shoulder kissing above your ankle glancing at the anklet with his name, his hand trails up your body running over your breast squeezing them, then over your stomach pressing down hard enough to feel himself through the chub.
"you feel that baby? that's my dick right here- ‘m right here ffuuck." you clenched on him again the feeling of his meaty cock in your tight walls, sandwiching your pussy with his heavy hand. he resumed his exploration of your body before arriving at your clit, his thumb slowly stroking the tiny wet bundles of nerves as he picked up the place, ramming into you faster.
you tried to close your legs as you felt closer to your release hands leaning the headboard in attempt to pushing at his pelvis. he ignored your pleasure struggle putting your other leg on his other shoulder, and continuing to fuck you as you spasmed letting out moans.
gaara could barely move from how tightly you clenched around him, nevertheless he continued to thrust in you. "ahhh....fuucck.... w-wait baby I just came." he grinned, lidded eyes seemingly glowing as his tongue ran over his top lip. "I know." your moans continued to rise. "s-shit baby i'm too sensitive." you dug your nails into his pale biceps sure to leave behind red marks. gaara moaned at the sight, gripping the backs of your knees, spreading your legs up and apart as he watches as the fat of your breast bounces and you cream on him, a thick white ring around the base of his cock. "hhaahh cum with me princess." he stilled inside of you as you shuddered underneath him letting him go from your bruising embrace, a pool of warmth painting the inside of your cunt.
he pulled out of you, cum trailing right behind as he slapped the tip of his dick against your clit making you jolt as he let out a smug giggle. "stay right there for a minute princess." he leaned over picking your phone up off the opposite side of the bed, going on snapchat, taking a picture and saving it.
he started a video with his cum still flowing out of you, placing his thumb on your puffy sensitive clit making you whine. "who's pussy is this princess?" his cocky tone apparent as he slapped your cunt. "’s yours gaaraa~ it's all yours." "damn right."
he ended the video, saving it to memories, throwing your phone back on the bed, kissed you on your forehead and helped you up, carrying you bridal style to the bathroom and started up the tub while you peed.
you leaned into gaara as your shower cap rested against his chest. "it was a prank baby, 'm sorry." he scoffed. "lesson learned, didn't we?" you nodded, tired from the dick he just put down on you. "can't believe you called up a dude who wore a green leotard all throughout middle school." he tsked.

gaara was out shopping so you rang up your best friend. "hinata girlll lemme tell you what had happened-" she shushed you. "girl we gotta talk later cuz look." she sat up from what looked like her bed and shifted the camera to the left to see naruto knocked the fuck out without a shirt.
"pussy put his ass to sleep now he callin' you nyquil. okayy hinata." she held her finger to her lip as you quieted down til she shifted her camera to the right. kiba was knocked out laying on his back shirtless and an arm resting over his face. the biggest gasp came out of your mouth as you took in her appearance.
bite marks littered her neck, her hair messy, and her eyes were puffy and you could see tear marks running down her face. "girl we def gonna have to talk later cuz what the fucck?"
"yea girl ima call you back when I fully wake up, and to keep you in suspense they were like wild fuckin’ animals, anyways bye." she hung up making you scoff. 'damn get it then i guess.'

now as for Sakura propaganda.... (This will be like swinging a bat on a hornet’s nest but Naruto fandom frustrate me so much I can no longer be silenced)
Don't get me wrong, that girl has plenty of flaws, but given how much the fandom hate her over equally or even more flawed characters, the hate towards her get pretty excessive, and hypocritical at times.
Now for the list of reasons people hate her... flip list
1- That she never became as "badass" and overpowered as Sasuke and Naruto... nevermind that the power levels at the end were a farce and that by the end nobody could hope to match up the uuhhh chosen by the prophecy descendants of ninja goddess and reincarnations of overpowered DBZ-level characters. And that it's a gap no characters, even those more experienced and talented and with better bloodlines could hope to close. She's the one most bashed over that for some reason that escapes me.
2- on the same branch, people loathe her for not inventing new jutsu at the ripe age of 16 yo, nevermind that she couldn’t possibly have found the time to do that in 3 years in between learning the entire medical curriculum and keeping up with her combat training.
3- somehow more hated than Shimura Danzou, fans will sing praises of Itachi being a martyr and Naruto being perfect for Sasuke while hating Sakura to the core
4- the "Sakura is obsessive about her imagined version of Sasuke and doesn't really treat him as a person" may be true, but then they go and treat SNS as like the purest most wholesome ship ever as if... Naruto... didn't do… exactly the same.
Naruto who obsess over his imagined version of Sasuke and find himself terribly inconvenienced whenever Sasuke has goals or wants that don’t involve staying within the village or staying the cut-in-cardboard school rival he wants Sasuke to be.
He will go on saying he will drag Sasuke back to the village against his will even if he has to break every single bone of his. Supposedly love Sasuke for who he is and somehow agree with Itachi’s demand of keeping the truth about the slaughter of Sasuke’s entire clan, and can’t believe Sasuke would not want to go back to the village who persecuted and genocided his clan. Never listen to Sasuke’s words and story and go on about Sasuke having a darkness and evilness that Sasuke disagree with Naruto over staying in the village because must be Fixed. By Him (Naruto).
The Naruto and Sasuke ship/dynamic will go on to be eternally praised by most Naruto fans despite it being yikes at best, they will display self-awareness of how toxic some of SNS behaviors are only when it come to bashing rival ships.
5- After Sai basically guilt her for not returning Naruto's feelings and asking him years ago to get back Sasuke, she will act rashly to fix this. The fandom will go on to hate simultaneously "Sakura not caring about Naruto's feelings" (that she didn't know about) and "Sakura desperately trying to make up for efforts she believe Naruto made for her in any way she possibly can, including prentending to have romantic feelings for him and doing her hardest to get over her affection for Sasuke, including proactively going to try to murder him."
Now as for things I actually like about Sakura.
I find her personality refreshing, and it would have been an interesting main character, the orphan who had little to no positive relationships and close people to begin with aside from Iruka , the boy who had a beloved family and clan and who experienced love, family and happiness before having it ripped away from him and the spoiled sheltered ignorant girl all make for different and complimentary and IMPORTANT perspectives on the different types of people growing within Konoha, within the ninja continent period. and how they all clash with one another. She has an abrasive personality, often says things thoughtlessly, and her trying to wrestle with how powerless/useless she feels and actively and proactively trying to make up for her flaws when made aware of them.
She often grapple with stuff like in-universe misogyny, including coping with them in all the wrongs ways, like believing she has to nab herself a man (Sasuke) and act all submissive in front of him due to the belief that her being desirable as a girl is a priority, all of point 5, and fandom reacting as if Sakura's personality exist in a vaccuum and that can't possibly come from internalizing stuff constantly said in-universe, nevermind all appearing characters constantly say and think sexist bullshit, and that she has to be a representation and icon of all in-universe and out-of-universe women instead of a character with her own characteristics.
Which makes fandom tend to "fix her" by stripping all that makes Sakura herself in fics in order to make her more palatable.

Edo Itachi mentioned to Sasuke that he wishes he would've told Sasuke the truth of the coupe d'etat because he felt he would've changed their parents and the clans' minds, but I can't help but doubt it would've changed much. Fugaku comes off as a pride man and he has told Sasuke to stop following Itachi as he was obviously on a different path. And it wasn't just him, but the clan themselves seemed all so proud. If Sasuke would've known about it and intervened on meetings, (as far as I feel) they would've probably told him he's too young to understand and doesn't know the full extent of their history. Would it have changed Sasuke more if he had known about their real history and Madara's decision (on wanting to leave Konoha) early on or would the clan have changed more if the leaders' second son shared the same sentiments as their eldest; (as a stretch) would they think Itachi is trying to brainwash Sasuke to his beliefs and want to instead use him as the clan's perosnal gains since the eldest failed?
Sorry it seems stupid, but I've been pondering about this all day.
it's not like the clan's primary reason for the coup was their pride hello what? even if sasuke did intervene pride is not the reason why the clan would decide to continue their plans, because they have too much pride, but because of the decades of discrimination and mistreatment against their clan that has nothing to do with pride to begin with, but with basic human rights and respect, that no amount of 'peaceful mediation' thus far was able to achieve.
just cuz sasuke's the son of the clan leader he's just a 7 year old boy, they disagreed with itachi (the eldest, a prodigy) already so what import would they give sasuke beyond a cursory listen to? it's the clan head that they follow. and realistically speaking what could sasuke (a 7 year old) have said? sasuke could've appealed to them ig but would that be enough considering the decades discrimination they faced? no. it was so dumb of itachi to even say that cuz he himself said he had no regrets but he's sure sasuke could've changed the clan, so it's just trying to make sasuke feel more guilty... like 'I have no regrets but I'm sure you could've changed everything and your whole clan could've been alive rn if you had a chance to act' like be soooo fr. insane to the very end.
also I think it'd be difficult to ascertain what 7 year old sasuke's stance would be in the first place... would he agree with itachi and not want a coup (though the reasoning behind it is sooo flawed in the first place)? would he agree with his dad (who's acknowledgement he wants more than anyone else) and the whole clan by extension? what made itachi so sure that sasuke would not have wanted the coup to take place? is he just projecting his own ideals on to sasuke as per usual? if sasuke was made aware with the canon information they all had, would he rally with his clan? if he knew the whole truth (even with madara etc cuz you didn't specify the real truth with madara or the pre-real truth), what itachi was planning on doing, would that make him hate konoha like we saw in shippuden? -obviously to a different extent cuz circumstances are different- and all other variations thereof. but we can only speculate cuz there's no conclusive evidence of sasuke's ideologies at 7 year's old, all we know is that he was very family orientated and his dad's acknowledgement was his goal, and that he loved his family dearly. don't get me wrong I don't think sasuke would be happy to immediately resort to violence and killing like danzo etc, I don't think he'd like the idea of a coup to begin with, but if push comes to shove idk what his own sense of justice would be at 7. he never got the change to explore that organically for himself, "you could've changed the clan had I told you" is just another pipe dream itachi dangled in front of his face and took away from him.

everytime i return to my sns hours all i can think about is naruto and sasuke traveling together post ending, after trying to live in the village but they just cant for all the obvious reasons. sasuke can't sit still and even though he conceded at the end of their fight he hasn't changed his mind in that the world /needs/ a revolution. it takes a while and alot of fighting and denial on narutos part most of the time leading to one of them bursting out the door in anger not being able to take conversations anymore lack of conversation, but naruto eventually allows himself an ounce of honesty that the villages obsession with him ushering naruto onto a pedestal of being a hero and beelining him to be the future hokage sakura pushing him towards hinata the death cost of the war the continued treatment towards sasuke. it all pains him, a cruel mix of ptsd trauma and depression ontop of rage and anger after what his family has gone through, he has gone through, sasuke, and everyone else he's met along the way that have been orphaned or treated wrong by the shinobi world.
so they eventually agree to leave because konoha is exhausting and claustrophobic to say the least, with a quickstop at nekobaas to get properly set up with material, but also mentally prepare before truly leaving. nekobaa and her apprentice both give them some tips of neighboring places that may be looked past by the other villages that they can look into for money and lodging should they want it, and thats the way naruto and sasuke exist for a while. taking odd jobs, protecting innocents from other desperate or vile induvials looking to get on top with the new changes swirling around. months stretch into a year or so and of course they fall in open love, naruto pondering and feeling guilt of being away from home for so long, but he gets anxious over falling into the mix of expectations again, and sasuke keeps him up. the closest they ever go back to konoha again is maybe to visit gaara.
i'd imagine from time to time team taka comes along on their journey. deep down naruto and sasuke bitterly thinking that things couldve been like this maybe. not separated and working together earlier on. but they don't dwell on it for now and over the course of one meetup karin and naruto whove been hitting it off through their lineage start gossiping over uzushio and this basically turns into my excuse of naruto and sasuke settling down at the whirlpool ruins, taka included. i want to imagine they turn it into a place of respite for those who may have been displaced during the war - most of those individuals being ones crawling out of hiding being descendants of the uzumaki and other orphans. its a beautiful sanctuary and a spearhead for naruto and sasukes plans of creating widespread change, from dismantling shinobi programs to train child soldiers, publicizing history starting with the destruction of uzushio and the uchiha etc etc your basics.
im iffy on there being also being a few uchiha stragglers - survivors who had left konoha in secret. im sure konoha would not allow or even the clan head allowing individuals to leave the village in order to keep them all in one place/together. but i can buy some people making it out wanting a life away, but after the massacre events living in secret as normal civilians, only coming out of hiding post war after hearing about the sanctuary being built for another clan and being assisted by the infamous sasuke.
ALSO. i think naruto would be fierce in fighting for jinchuuriki and what the world has done to the tailed beast and their hosts alike. extremely determined to protect them and mourning not only his family but another one he never got to know with the other hosts. i can see bee stopping by uzushio as a sort of second home and them bonding and training more in a way that sasuke cant even understand. i think it would def help naruto build upon his own independent identity. honestly idr canons comments on the jinchuurikis fate but i think it would be the sweetest thing if the beasts came across individuals they connected to that they could find their own hosts and they would come to uzushio to train with nar and bee.
im gonna shut up now this is the most self indulgent au trying to cram 92852837 things in it at once. tldr. sasuke and naruto are in love and after a while and deep into their healing process they start their own family and have 2 daughters.
#personal#also nekobaa moves herself and her apprentice to uzushio and basically i want to cram all my favorites into one space of the world thats#away from all the other villages LMAO#the first village that naruto and sasuke work wtih is suna bc gaara is the next to understand them both even remotely#ontop of the jinchuuriki buisiness which hes all for#and he loves them both these two messy and sad individuals#and he never wants to see another child fall through the cracks

i love my unsolved au SO MUCH.
so im going to shout some more stuff abt it into the void!
first, some stuff abt konoha:
there are three main areas,
konoha city: the area where all the snobby rich people live — basically the neighborhood for the elite. this is where sasuke lives, (among all the other nrt chrs that belong to clans in canon). families that live here are huge and come from old money
konoha underground: the area full of poor and homeless people. there are parts full of shady areas but they are a few tight-knit communities. the underground is BRUTAL... it's like predator and prey in here. you need to be careful with who you trust — because once you do trust someone, your life depends on it. a lot of orphaned children form groups to take care of each other and some of the workers try to look out for them too, but it's hard when you've gotta look after yourself too. anyway, you won't see someone from the k.ug hesitate to punch someone's face if they try smth with a kid... while the people of k.c will only turn a blind eye. d.d is a mixed crowd. anyway, naruto lived here.
downtown district: this is actually the in-between, and like i said, it's the mixed area. think of k.ug as the red light district, k.c is the rich neighbourhood and d.d. is the part of the city that's filled with barely adequate apartment buildings and small houses, a shit ton of markets and other establishments. there are people who are incredibly rich (new money, still barely enough to make k.c) and there are also people who are struggling to make ends meet and are )( close to finding themselves in k.ug. sakura grew up here.
ill update these areas as i go — this is simply just a few drafted ideas abt the city. i'll straighten it out after organising other ideas
moving onto chara stuff:
naruto: lived on the streets for a few years until hrz took him in. he's very familiar with the underground of konoha and could probably map out the sewers... if he could draw a map in the first place. anyway, he's a very street-smart kid (unlike me) with a bubbly yet (kinda) snarky personality. gets riled up pretty easily and argues with ssk and sai a lot — has a surprisingly optimistic look on life. he doesn't really understand all of skr's rants abt the cool robotics stuff but he likes to help her out and test the equipment for her.
when he was very young, nrt found a furry companion that's actually a fox demon. surprise surprise its the kyuubi. which is also why people were terrified of him even tho he was p young... kid was pretty isolated, but he tries to gloss over it ("at least i was able to stay away from the wrong crowd," he'd say)
sakura: growing up, skr's parents weren't really around, so she learned to both take care and entertain herself. developed a rather apathetic persona due to her childhood + years of bullying she faced — which went beyond just teasing abt her forehead ( which she was still bullied abt, also why she never got rid of her bangs in this au!) — she ended up spending most of her time either in the library or experimenting with shit in her room. she's a complete NERD btw!
sometimes she would set out to explore the markets, which is how she ended up meeting nrt because he found her on the outskirts of the d.d. girlie eventually becoming the apprentice of some cool inventor (don't ask how) and started building cool stuff. she lost her arm in an accident and built herself a prosthetic with the help of her mentor — it has a lot of cool functions added to it! btw, she's pretty adept at faking emotions, it's kinda scary... despite the fact i mentioned her being an apathetic kid, her apathy is really just a mask for her actual emotions. she can be a passionate kid once you actually get to know her... tho the only people she cares abt is the people she's friends with
sasuke: wooo this boy does not know how to emote besides being angry and rude. though he was a very cute and cheerful kid, sasuke grew up developing a sharp temper and a cruel tongue due to the environment he was raised in. his family, despite not physically neglecting him like sakura's parents, were emotionally absent. the only person that was rlly around for him eventually became too busy to hang around him (itachi). ssk thinks he can remember someone else along with his brother. someone who smiled all the time, someone who'd laugh loudly when ssk did smth. (said someone was... drumroll pls!.... shisui!!!!!) but the memories are pretty blurry because ssk was very young.
anyway, ssk struggles a lot with pressure and expectations etc etc. he's still a good fighter tho, and means well most of the time. the others learn to read in between the lines when it comes to him. sasuke actually saw nrt in some rich people gala, when the blonde boy was under hrz's wing (p.s.: nrt ended up running away because he vehemently disliked being a charity case) — nrt actually started disliking him from this point even tho ssk had 0 opinion abt him — but they didn't actually meet until their teens. also! ssk has pretty frail health, which he did eventually overcome... but he still needs that mask which u see in his chara design!!!
sai: sai is a part of something called ROOT — designed abt danzo and orochi and built by kabuto, there might've been days when sai understood humans a little more when he lived alongside a boy called shin who told him about a boy with a different name who sai was designed after. anyway, shin d-worded and sai was left alone and guided by danzo.
sai does not understand humans and emotions. his curiousity is piqued when he observes the others' behaviours and its up to skr ssk and nrt to guide him on that subject. skr is immensely curious abt sai's programming and fiddles with his parts a lot — he lets her. they find certain commands in the coding and skr is faced with a challenge as she tries to help sai escape ROOT's clutches in his programming.
other stuff i want to mention:
naruto found kyuubi the fox when he was very little, too young to remember his age. they've been buddies ever since... even if kyuubi hisses at like. everyone including him.
naruto was taking in by hiruzen when he was nine. he ran away a few days later. hrz couldn't find take him back in ever again. (kyuubi never trusted hrz which is why he basically ran away, even from nrt. nrt trusts the fox's instincts which is why he leaves!!)
a few days before hrz, nrt met sakura who was exploring different areas and writing stuff into her journal. they talked abt all kinds of stuff, tho skr did most of the talking and nrt just listened. even those skr cld be weird, nrt really liked the girl and thought she was cute. plus kyuubi liked her enough — and when nrt ran away and found kyuubi with skr in their "special spot", he decided to become best friends with her!!! yay!!!!
("zephyr this is not how friendships work-" HUSH. they're NINE.)
ssk meets skr and nrt when theyre thirteen. it happens when skr's parents meet with ssk's parents and the two kids are brought along. the thing goes south but the two kids do end up conversing because skr is curious abt the uchiha manor and asks a lot of questions. ssk finds it annoying but he answers it anyway.
a few weeks later he runs away from home. skr and nrt stumble upon him while "exploring".
they become friends, eventually and slowly. ssk also ends up going back home. (he doesn't stay there forever tho so... yeah!)
heres the thing abt their families...
for naruto, he idealises parents. he doesn't know what they're actually like because he's never had any, and the only family he has is one of his choice instead of his blood.
for sakura, she knows all parents are different through observation and conversations. sakura's parents were pretty apathetic with her and their business trips only became longer and more frequent. she was raised by a governor who eventually moved away and skr never saw them again. sakura's parents basically dont know who she is because they were barely around to find out — and they find themselves faced with an intelligent, sharp-witted girl who has not even an ounce of love for them. the only times they talk is when they argue.
for sasuke, he thinks he can remember a loving mother and a caring brother and maybe even a cheerful cousin. however, his mother passed away and so did his cousin in an accident only ssk survived. his father remarried and his brother became too busy and ssk was left all alone in a cold home and a vast "family"
for sai, he might've had a brother once. he lost him anyway.
he still doesn't know how to feel about it.
ill come up with more stuff later on... omg cant wait

💭 to learn what Itachi thinks of you @osteus
ㅤ«It's like looking at a mirror, in some very specif ways. I haven't known Kimimaro-san for too long, yet his sense of loyalty immediately impressed me. And I caught myself thinking, it is not too different than what we in Konoha call The Will of Fire - only it's loyalty directed towards a person, rather than a village. Which... I am truly not qualified to judge, because I myself have also put Sasuke even above said village. Therefore, whenever Kimimaro-san speaks of his complete devotion to Orochimaru-san, his unwavering determination to keep him safe and to make his dreams a reality? I can understand that, and I can relate to that. On an almost visceral level.
ㅤHe's impressed me with his gentle nature, just as much, especially given the colossal power his kekkei genkai carries. I don't think I'm wrong to assume he can be absolutely ruthless, when needed, but at the same time he also does not strike me as someone who would be unnecessarily cruel. Someone to go out of his way to torment others just for personal entertainment or just because he can. In a way, I have to say I am also quite fond of the enthusiasm he sometimes displays - like when we happened to talk about his homeland. It's rather childlike and innocent, and I'm glad he can at least keep that even after the hardships he was forced to endure during childhood.
ㅤWith this said, I am admittedly quite intrigued and would like to learn more about him, given the opportunity. To learn more about his abilities and skills, that goes without saying, but also about the person underneath it all. What else exists, beyond devotion and loyalty? What are his preferences, what does he not like, how does he invest his spare time, does he hold dreams of his own? While this mission lasts and we can spend time together, I'm looking forward to gradually unveil more of the mystery that is Kaguya Kimimaro.»
~~~~~
bonus for villain verse:
ㅤ«My gorgeous flower. My precious hummingbird. My adorable rabid bunny. Mine, mine, mine. Something I had never expected to find again, a place where my demons go to drown and where nothing matters except for the two of us. Something that I will stop at nothing to keep safe and protected, and that I will never allow to be lost. Not even to the frail condition of his body and, if it shall come down to the need to rewrite reality itself, then so be it. Kimimaro is the only and last thing that gives meaning to my life and the gods themselves won't take him from me.»
~~~~~
more bonus for modern verse:
ㅤ«What can I say? Not to be completely cliché and cheesy, but he got me from the very first moment. Yes, it started as something mostly out of physical attraction and way too much horniness, but - honestly, can I be blamed? Has anybody ever in the history of humankind looked at Kimimaro and thought something other than this is the most gorgeous, attractive, hot person I've met in my entire life? Little did I know what I was doing to myself, the day I approved for him to be hired to participate in that one music video for the band. The fact we ended up banging in that bathroom stall when we basically only knew each other's name only added to the whole experience.
ㅤAnd, from there... again, not to be the most lovestruck boyfriend ever, but it's only grown into something I barely have words to describe. We are so incredibly compatible, not in the sense of both of us liking all the same things or having all the same opinions and preferences, no - it's way beyond that. We complement each other so wholly. In our personalities, in our attitudes, in what we enjoy in a romantic partner, in what we expect from a life together. I could just sit here and chindhand and talk all day about all the things I love about Kimi, but just to name a few: his cheeky attitude, his ambition with head-in-the-clouds and feet-on-the-ground, his stunning talent for acting but also dancing, his loving care and protectiveness towards me. The things he's known to do every time I wear a skirt.
ㅤI am so genuinely happy we could meet each other, and I am so genuinely looking forward to our shared future. Maybe even one day think about actual marriage and adopting a child of our own? Why not! From the looks of it, the fans on both sides also would not mind any of this at all.»
#long post#suggestive cw#osteus#[osteus] the lost heart always looks to the future as the flowers sway#i am SO WEAK!!!!!!!!!! for them no matter the context 🥺#the way this oscillates between so wholesome and absolutely deranged and v spicy

Ok so everyone say thank you to @kirabasai for infecting me with the thought of Commander Fox getting zapped from starwars to naruto
Mitsuki and Fox clone solidarity,, I know Mitsuki only exists in Boruto but I don't give a shit so now not only is this a dimension travel au it's also a time travel
Somehow both Fox and Mitsuki end up in normal naruto canon, and work together bc uhhhh. Reasons, I dunno.
Fox gets zapped first to boruto, probably through spooky Palpatine sith shenanigans that don't actually matter. But he's only there for a second, with just enough time to knock into Mitsuki before he's zapped again into naruto— accidentally bringing Mitsuki with him.
Oops.
He actually feels kind of bad ab it. Or like, as bad about it as Fox can feel, bc he's Fox. But then he learns Mitsuki is a clone and it isn't just awww shit he accidentally kidnapped some kid but aww shit he accidentally kidnapped a Shiny
Head in his hands, he didn't ask for this,, he was a good boy,, he did his job so diligently,, he hid all the bodies and killed all the people Palpatine told him to,,, literally never done a thing wrong,,,,
Fox winds up with Palpatines lightsaber somehow, and over the course of the story it kind of becomes his. It freaks the absoloute FUCK out of literally any sensors, it is radiating legit evil over there and Fox is holding it like it's no big deal (bc he can't sense shit and is kind of numb to sith energy anyways)
Fox also has a blaster and I am definitely thinking ab the comedy of like. A gun in Naruto. It's a gun. It's a gun that moves fast as light. No one knows what a gun is and Fox is going to get SO much milage out of just having a weapon he can aim places without people realizing what it's ab to do (shoot you in the fucking face)
If someone were to pry into Fox's mind they'd actually have a really awful time of it, then probably walk face first into some nasty lingering sith mind fuckery stuff. Bad experience, 0/10, Fox is very happy w how it turned out but also has no idea why he got that effect. Either way, keep ur nasty ass mind fingers to yourself
Also, Fox speaks Basic. Not Japanese.
I'm thinking he has some sort of standard translator chip that allows him to communicate, but it sometimes translates the stuff he says weirdly. For example, from everyone else's perspective, he keeps introducing himself as Kitsune.
Which, for obvious reasons, doesn't really go over that well with a lot of people in Konoha when he gets there.
He's also visibly foreign and keeps being mistaken for being from Suna
So anyways, Fox and Mitsuki first fight bc like. Hey!! You fucking kidnapped?? Me???
Mitsuki gets the jump on him bc shinobi kid vs guy who doesn't know what a fucking shinobi even is
But then they're able to kinda talk it out and like, look neither of them know where they are so... truce?
Ok so now the fun part:
Fox has no fucking clue what's going on.
From his point of view, he's on... some kind of semi primitive planet. Doesn't remember how or why, but he's here now. So standard GAR procedures; find a way to contact home base. He has his normal gear on him, but no deep space radio, so he'll have to just... make one. Fuck, ok. If he can find the parts, it's doable. All command class clones are taught the basics of how, just like how they're taught how to assemble a blaster from scraps.
But from Mitsuki's point of view, they time traveled.
Mitsuki's POV is the only reason Fox knows there's smthn seriously up, but he's not exactly gonna go "aha! Dimension travel!" On top of it all
Now here's the thing. They're in early naruto canon, some time after wave arc.
Mitsuki only knows chunks of history, and only what has been taught to him second hand from school, Orochimaru, and very very occasional stories from Sasuke or the rest of team Taka
(I feel like Suigetsu especially would have fun telling all sorts of stories)
Not... all of these stories are completely accurate. And even if they are, they're often dumbed down to be easily understood by children— think that one Boruto episode where they put on some sort of silly play about the sanin (which was adorable btw and also fucking hilarious. Actual war criminals son learns about war crimes in class and everyone is just cool happy magic of friendship about it. Amazing.)
So now Fox is learning these fuckin third hand stories from Mitsuki, who literally learned it from the villains of many of the stories, and there is some SERIOUS biases going on
They go to Orochimaru for help.
Local scientist, parent of child (= dependable?) Best source of tech for potential radio + blaster repairs if needed. Fox can trade information to him if needed, it seems like a good choice.
It is not a good choice.
Orochimaru is like nearing the heights of his insanity, and I think it'd be real fun if he decides Sasuke is cool and all but a man from the stars??? A man literally made in a vat to be the perfect example of human physique???? Who's also resistant to many forms of corrosive chakra????
New perfect body alert.
Mitsuki is cute but Orochimaru isn't really in a parental sort of mind set, sorry <3
Mitsuki is going "Huh!! My parent did say they had a pretty severe midlife crisis..."
"Kid I think this is a bit more than just a midlife crisis."
Anyways, then they escape and continue to fuck around trying to build a deep space radio, which at this point is Fox's only hope home which also means it's Mitsuki's bc maybe the jedi can help with the whole uhh... time? Thing?
I'm thinking that after the thing w Orochimaru goes to shit, they're both a lot more wary of the fact that Mitsuki's information may not be the best.
After Oro in terms of figures of power and safety, almost everyone else is either a child, not born yet, or their current location is unknown— except for good old dependable ✨️ rokudaime Kakashi ✨️
Ok so picture this. You're Kakashi, sleeping peacefully in bed after a long day fucking with your students (who you're still very conflicted about having) You wake up to a presence in ur room and there's some fucking snake kid leaning over ur bed going "Hatake-sama—"
You freak out.
Knives may be thrown.
The snake kid has a very angry looking, foreign adult man body guard.
This is so fucking suspicious.
The snake kid says he's a time traveler, and that you are the eventual Rokudaime and also the only person he knows he can trust 100%
This is so fucking suspicious.
So obviously, Kakashi plays along then turns around and reports the fuck out of their asses to the Hokage.
Yeah, Fox doesn't really know what he expected. If some random kid showed up looming over HIS bed in the middle of the night, said he'd be the next chancellor and they know bc they're a time traveler and also pretty please help me build a deep space radio so I can go home— well, he wouldn't report them to Palpatine because not even he's that sadistic. But he'd probably toss them into the cells for a minute, if only because it was one of the only perks of his job
Or, well, for that analogy to work it wouldn't be a deep space radio, because he was used to space travel. It'd have to be something wilder— like an interdimensional radio. Haha, good one. Like that existed. God, imaging having to try and make one of those, that'd be insane. Fox would just kill himself at that point. Good thing he doesn't have to, right? Right?
Anyways mid adventure, they bump into Jiraiya who is fucking horrified to recognize Orochimaru's way of smiling in Mitsuki and gaslights himself into thinking he HAS to be wrong.
I think its Jiraiya who finally helps them out

Hi
was sasuke serious when he wanted to kill naruto at orochimaru hideout?
did he wanted eliminate team 7 with kirin?
and I saw some ss shippers claim that he didn't hug naruto, it was just a foreshortening...
😑
No it is not foreshortening.
Hi. Foreshortening is an art technique where an object or a figure is rendered from a certain angle, usually an unusual angle, which highlights its distortion; it's basically a visual perspective. Kishi certainly is very fond of rendering his drawings from weird angles. He uses other techniques as well, like fish eye lens technique, which is also used for visual distortion, it can be used to highlight an expression or a mood, or to establish emphasis or to create an eerie/menacing effect. It used to be quite popular in films at one point of time, it's not anymore. They are used for very specific scenes nowadays, and aren't as ubiquitous as they were once. Anyway. What would be a good example of foreshortening and fish eye lens? This.
Don't get tangled with SS's delusions and false information. They will say anything to sound smart but ultimately, it makes them sound really dumb.
Now look at this.
Where is the foreshortening? Listen to me carefully, don't doubt yourself so much, trust your instincts, they are there for a reason and Kishi's work only encourages them, any good storytelling does. SS will always be wrong. I have not seen even a single one of them say a single rational thing YET. Just brand it on your brain and enjoy the manga as it is meant to be.
Foreshortening is about visual perspective but it doesn't change the actual action. It has nothing to do with that. It's only a way of looking at something. Sasuke is very obviously embracing Naruto. His hand is Holding Naruto's shoulder and he is close enough to be able to whisper directly in his ear while their bodies are clearly touching properly.
Was Sasuke serious about killing Naruto in their reunion scene?
Now what's important to notice about this reunion is that Sasuke didn't go looking for Naruto. Naruto came looking for him. If Naruto hadn't tried to get in Sasuke's way, Sasuke won't have attacked him. Just like vote one. If Naruto hadn't followed Sasuke with ALL his might, Sasuke would have left Konoha without confronting Naruto. Which means that Sasuke only feels pushed to 'cut Naruto down' when Naruto waylays him. Because seeing Naruto coming after him does funny things to Sasuke. All his intentions about getting strong and following his ambition take a backseat. Seeing Naruto weakens his resolve and he tends to lose grip on his composure. When he sees the person he loves despite his better judgment, he tends to make all the wrong decisions, he becomes a self saboteur.
These couple of chapters were funny and kind of bittersweet because ONCE again, we get to see how Sasuke just CANNOT help himself when it comes to Naruto. And these few chapters only help to underline the fact that Sasuke simply is frustrated, not so much with Naruto, but his own resolve when he sees his 'one and only....friend.' Lol. It's really a pattern with him, like I have written here.
Anyway, let's get into the meat of it.
So Team Kakashi arrives on the scene and Sasuke notices Naruto and his gaze is stuck on him.
So damn much emphasis. Right away, the reader's attention is monopolized and MADE to focus on the tension between Naruto and Sasuke because of the bubbling anticipation. We know how they separated at the end of vote one, and we know it was very painful for both of them. We have so many questions. Are they answered? Yep.
Look at the visual language. They don't have to say anything and yet the reader can viscerally feel the tension between them. Naruto's angst and yearning. Sasuke's more stoic features frozen on Naruto's visage like a magnet. Kishi certainly knows how to render roaring emotions into the characters without having them say a single word. That's just a testament to how good an artist he is.
So after Sasuke acknowledges the presence of the team, he proceeds to mock Sai who has just tried to assassinate him, and whom he correctly interprets as his stand in, by stating how he wanted to protect the bond between him and Naruto. To which, Sai responds by saying that he has changed his mind about killing Sasuke because of Naruto. Naruto reminded Sai of his bond with Shin, which brought about his change and he decides to do his own thinking and not follow rules blindly.
And this affects Sasuke. Look at his face. Sasuke knows Naruto has that effect on people, because he experienced it himself. We only get to know this in chapter 698, but Sasuke clearly admits that seeing Naruto always reminded him of his bonds with his family, just the same as how Naruto reminded Sai of his important bond, Shin. So when Sai tries to bargain with Sasuke about protecting Naruto and Sakura's (lol) bonds with Sasuke, Sasuke tells him that was exactly the reason he cut them off. Meaning, he tried to get rid of anything, or at least attempted to, that came in the way of his goals. Which is exactly why Sasuke says this.
That "personal ties cause confusion....and make you weak."
He tells Sai that he has cut off those bonds and he only has the bond of hatred now, the hatred he has for Itachi.
The truth is that he is not entirely accurate in his statement, heh. And Naruto catches it.
He tried to kill Naruto in vote one but couldn't do it. But regardless, he claims to Sai that he cut those bonds off. Well, he cut them off with Kakashi and Sakura. But you see, he never cut it off with Naruto.
Which is exactly why, Naruto is PUSHED to say this.
Naruto righteously asks him if he wanted to really cut off those bonds, why didn't he kill him off at the valley of the end? He certainly could have. Very easily too, Naruto was unconscious. Naruto also knows that Sasuke couldn't do it because he was afraid. Meaning, he knows Sasuke didn't want to lose Naruto because he cared for him, he couldn't bear to lose Naruto. And look at Sasuke's face when Naruto very emphatically and angrily screams the sentiment out. He is perplexed, obviously a little vulnerable.
He switches his self preservation mode on to balance it out (Sasuke doesn't like to appear vulnerable) by acting stoic, and so he tells him that he spared Naruto on a whim, but Naruto isn't really buying it. Now, we know that Sasuke is lying about the whim part. It's ooc for him. And anyway, it makes no sense.
However the deed is done. A crack has appeared on Sasuke's tough exterior, Naruto has made it happen. Like always. Heh.
And so what happens. Sasuke glides down to hug his precious.
And then he flirts with him. Yes. Flirts.
Sasuke - Didn't you say your dream was to become hokage? What are you doing here following after me when you could have used this time training for it?
Subtext - Do you like me or something Naruto?
Naruto - How can I be a hokage if I can't even save a 'friend'?
Sasuke - Pff
Subtext - Lol. You are such a child Naruto.
When Sasuke glides down and embraces Naruto, it registers itself remarkably in the reader's mind. Why? Because Sasuke has already been established as a person who isn't touchy feely. In part one, it's only Naruto he finds himself comfortable with, physically. He likes his personal space otherwise. Why would he willingly hug Naruto and speak like some femme fatale? Kishi obviously wasn't trying to portray this action of his as platonic. Certainly not in addition with all the flirting.
Did Sasuke want to kill Naruto?
Well he never wanted to kill Naruto for the sake of killing Naruto. He only attempted it because Naruto caused his goals to get blurry. He fogged up his plans for revenge. Sasuke cannot think straight when Naruto is around. Hehe. It happens when something that you want stands directly in opposition to something/someone you like.
Regardless, he didn't come at Naruto to kill at this point. If he wanted to attack Naruto, he could have efficiently done it in other ways. Don't look anywhere else. All the pertinent information is in these couple of chapters themselves.
This is a Sasuke who has trained with Oro for two and a half years. Who knows all the ins and outs of fighting techniques. Look how he analyses and handles Sai's and Yamato's fighting techniques in a matter of fact way. What impression and information does it give the reader? That Sasuke is skilled, and confident as fuck too. Hell, the reason why Yamato gets skewered by Sasuke is because Sakura tries to show off and attacks Sasuke. He stoically proceeds to attack in return. And had it not been for Yamato, Sakura would have been a goner. Like always, someone needs to rescue her. Naruto, Kakashi, Yamato, Obito, Lee...heheheh.
But when with Naruto, he makes a whole show of unsheathing his katana, taking his time, as if savoring these moments with Naruto, and as expected, is stopped.
He just wanted to feel close to Naruto. Feel his presence closely. He has met him after two and half years after all. Remember how crushed he looked being separated from Naruto after vote one? Why wouldn't he want to get close to Naruto? After all this time of not seeing and missing his usuratonkachi?
He could have chidori streamed him right away, he wouldn't even have needed his katana to begin with. Like he did later to Sai and Naruto. Naruto was obviously incapacitated by it. But he chose not to. He chidori streams both Sai and Naruto, stabs Yamato, and then stares and keeps staring at a struggling Naruto. And then proceeds to enter his mind space where he meets kyuubi for the first time. He makes the kyuubi retreat. He, who is so analytical about his moves and he who is so thorough about keeping a close guard on the enemy, just cannot help but look at Naruto. And keep looking.
And what happens? The same thing that happens everytime when Naruto is around him. His concentration gets compromised. His goals get sabotaged. His intentions and rational thinking leave for lunch break.
And this is what frustrates him. No really. It does. He can't even get a straight answer from Naruto as to why he keeps following him, getting in his way, knowing that Naruto's reasons simply don't come off as commensurate with what he does, but Sasuke nevertheless gets embroiled in his feelings for Naruto and it gets his goat. He loathes when it happens, he loathes his own weakness, but it happens.
When Sasuke evades Yamato's wood style jutsu attack, he is again asked by an anguished Naruto to rethink his plans, as Oro would sooner or later take over his body. Sasuke has had it. So he emphatically tells him that if being strong enough to kill Itachi meant he would need to let Oro take his life over and over, he would do it and that's the end of it.
Yamato proceeds to attack Sasuke, but Sasuke has really had it. He defeated Sai so easily when Sai tried to attack him, he incapacitated Naruto. He even managed to subdue Yamato. But all in vain, because Naruto makes him weak. He was subdued by Yamato in return when he lost his concentration because it was fixed on his dobe. And he cannot be weak. Not if he wants to accomplish his goals. Yamato saying anything wouldn't have this effect on Sasuke. Why would it? He doesn't even really know him.
So Sasuke decides that he is going to finally take care of it. By legit attempting to kill Naruto. And if need be, the other team members if they interfere, which they obviously would have. Sasuke is done with his ties with Konoha. And he wants to simply erase them. Well, not with Naruto, as we come to know later. But in this scene, he certainly seems to make up his mind finally but Oro arrives at the nick of time and convinces Sasuke not to. And that's that. He disappears with Oro and Kabuto, while still staring at Naruto. CANNOT take his eyes off him, he can't.
It's pretty clear in these chapters that Sasuke is damn skilled, perfectly analytical and superlatively confident and if he really wanted to attack Naruto, he could have done it right away. He is obviously capable of it, like he did to Naruto later on with chidori stream. Or he could have used his katana efficiently like he did with Sakura who got blocked by Yamato which resulted in Yamato getting skewered. You don't even need to go where Sasuke used his chidori spear, which he used to attack Oro and Killer Bee.
The context of these chapters makes it clear as crystal.

I know you like sauske and would probably like the boy to have some friends that actually understand why he's doing what he does(not to say that naruto hasn't tried.) So which people from the konoha 11 do you think were the closest to leaving the village and possibly joining Sauske- Signed space anon
Okay, I've been struggling to this of how to answer this, so I'm just gonna try my best here.
I do think that sasuke needed some friends that treated him like and actual, normal human being. I don't think he could have found that in konoha.
Everyone he interacts with in konoha interacts with him because of konoha and that's why I don't believe it works. Team 7 was put together by konoha, they were made to be friends by the leaf village, and there is absolutely no way they would let sasuke interact with someone who shares his views and morals if they go against the leaf village. I know saying that doesn't make sense because, "but he wasn't against the village at that time, and they didn't think he had anything against them" but the leaf village knew that if sasuke found out why his brother carried out genocide and stuff he would probably be instantly against the village, so they needed him to be around people who would drag him back to the village if necessary. I think that that's one of the reasons he was put on a team with the most persistent and obsessive academy graduates, because they would always try and drag him back and make sure he was a useful tool and not a threat. I would say that when they sort the genin teams, they definitely look at personality as well.
A bunch of that was 'i thinks' and hc's and stuff, but being serious I'm actually gonna try and answer the question now.
The thing about this ask is that I don't know if any one of the konoha 11 could have been friends with sasuke. Why? All of them graduated the academy, all of them loyal konoha ninja. They've had years of exposure to the whole "glorifying konoha" thing, and have all been brainwashed into being good tools for the state. None of them would dare go against konoha in any way, shape or form.
With all that taken into account, my first thought was neji, he would (probably) understand why sasuke did the things he did (though this is entirely an opinion and basically just speculation, so I can only say probably). The thing is, I don't think he would ever leave the village or join sasuke, as he is fatalistic in nature (until he gets tnj'd by naruto, supposedly) and would never even think it possible to leave the village and choose to change things. I love neji, but he was also a konoha shinobi and would never even have the opportunity or the hope that he could even leave the village and his clan behind. If he did, he would be killed instantly anyways by the cursed seal. So I can't say he would join sasuke and leave the village, or that they would be friends but I can say there is a possibility for them to become friends.
Going against what I just said, neji is shown to be constantly trying to fight what he believes to be his destiny (was he wrong though about it being his destiny? he did die for his slaveowner in the end) so he does have some hope that he can change something. Still, all of this speculation is on the basis that he would even realize how fucked up konoha is and wouldn't gloss it over as well. Like, he was chill with his uncle once he learned why his father "really" died so I can't say that he wouldn't do the same with konoha for letting his clan continue their practices. He is a loyal konoha shinobi and since he isn't one of the main characters we don't really get to see what he thinks about many of these things. All I've got is headcanons and the little bit of information canon provides us to make judgements about his character.
Conclusion about neji: Pre tnj, maybe, probably actually (in my opinion), but post tnj? No way; he's been brainwashed by naruto. Though maybe if he interacted with sasuke for a little bit they'd get ideas lol
All of the konoha 11 are loyal konoha shinobi though, and that's why I can't ever see them leaving the village. You asked which one I thought was closest to leaving? None of them (save sasuke). Though sasuke at one point was also a loyal konoha shinobi, so I guess all of them can technically change. The thing is, now it's about who is most likely to adapt and change with new bits of information and make decisions for themselves, not decisions made by konoha. Sasuke is the only one shown to do that in canon, so I can't really say.(maybe ino? that's a hc though)
Don't really know much about how most of the k11 react to situations that change the way they would see the village, because so few are ever exposed to that (naruto is basically it cause he's the mc)
So, you asked who of the k11 would be friends with sasuke? None of them. If we're going by personality and personal preference/opinion, however; I have some preferences. Basically just anyone who isn't insufferable. Neji could be good friends with sasuke if they got past the first stages of them probably fighting a lot (and their philosophies greatly differ as well, sasuke would probably spend a lot of time trying to do what naruto did and convince neji that destiny is not set in stone and things can change, though unlike naruto, sasuke actually takes action and proves it) and I could see them being friends, though if I'm being honest, I'm really biased because I love them both so much and would love for them to have interacted in canon. But they don't really get any moments so all I got is headcanons.
Other than neji, I can see maybe shino being friends with him? He's pretty chill I think. And tenten seems pretty nice as well. I don't really have preferences though there are characters who would DEFINITELY NOT be friends with sasuke. Hinata is one of them, (for being generally dislikable, I think you can see what I'm getting at here, and also you can either have neji or hinata, never both and neji is waaaay better) shikamaru is another, for reasons pretty clear: He doesn't like sasuke, which is a pretty good line for who he wouldn't be friends with. Kiba is too much like naruto and also too much of a loyal leaf ninja (they all are though, let's be honest). Rock lee's out because he is just like naruto in how he sees sasuke (someone to fight, a goal) and he's also generally annoying with how he talks about "hard work", as if someone who is a genius does not work hard and that is honestly disrespectful. Sasuke is a genius, yes, he also works hard. It is because he works hard that he is a genius. Not a whole lot of people left. Anyway, I'm kinda neutral about ino because she does move on and doesn't continue obsessing over him like sakura at a certain point, so maybe they could become friends? Though they probably wouldn't, I'm neutral because she is capable of being actually normal and decent. Not good enough for her to be friends with sasuke, but still in neutral territory. And I'm neutral about choji as well, though he's friends with shikamaru so I'm not sure how that would go down.
All in all, that is what I think about (pretty much) every one of the k11. Lmk if I missed someone important (though I don't think that I did). And I know that this wasn't your question really, but this is a mess of jumbled opinions that I will now give to you. But yeah, my real answer is that he would never have friends in the leaf village, the only way I see him making friends is if they are outside of the village. Or they're his clanmates (if they weren't dead).
I'm not trying to sound smart so, I know I probably sound stupid. With that said, thank you so much for the ask! This is my first ask and when I saw it I was so excited to answer it right away. Thank you anon!
Also, sorry if I interpreted anything wrong or if this wasn't what you were looking for. I went a little ways off topic, but I tried. I'm not very good at writing or explaining things, never had been, but I've learned that writing at a low level is okay because it is easy to read and people can understand it. Still if anything doesn't make sense, don't be afraid to ask! I hope my answer was satisfactory :> Anyway this is long and I'm tired, so I'm just gonna set this post free

Hi! What do you think was the purpose of making Lee like Sakura? How does he even know her at the point where they first meet? She also doesn't have a nice personality and it's been said many times that she's not really good looking. Do you think Kishi was just showing that Naruto doesn't care if other people like her? We know Hinata and Sakura are beards. Do you think he might have been setting up something for them? Bc Sakura does eventually soften towards Lee, to the point of berating Naruto and picking a flower for him. Tbh I first thought that Kishi was trying to improve her character here. She was always portrayed as shallow, liking Sasuke just because he was good looking, attractive, popular, a genius, etc. She even cut off her best friend over liking Sasuke. I thought if she actually ended up liking Lee she could be redeemed because she initially thought he was lame, and he's not attractive (basically it would make her less shallow). Ooof but I was wrong, she actually gets worse after this. Still Sasuke obsessed, even wanting to abandon the village as long as she got to be with him, and then she's still the same at the end, actually chasing him down after he tells her no. So I was wondering what you think Kishi's intentions might have been at the time?
I can't say anything from Lee's perspective as to why he liked her or how is it relevant to his Character. Because most of the Konoha 12 wasn't given much relevance to the Story in Part 2. Like Kiba, Shino, Tenten, Lee, Chouji, Ino... There were there as Naruto's friends.
But I feel his crush on Sakura is a plot device to show the perspective of Team 7 Characters.
It's like you said....
Here, Lee is just introducing himself and look at Naruto's face. Naruto was just clueless here.
This is totally a scene between two people. Lee and Sakura.
Do you think Naruto was needed in this panel???
Whereas Neji was also doing the same thing with Sasuke, Like asking for his Name... But just in a Boyish way...
Look at Naruto's burning face. God!!! Naruto is extremely adorable.
So, this scene is an exposition to show Naruto just doesn't care if anyone shows interest in Sakura. (Romantically). Whereas it irks Naruto, if someone shows interest on Sasuke and his skills. (Non Romantic).
Again, In this scene... Lee is openly flirting in front of both Sasuke and Naruto. But both have absolutely no interest on Sakura. Desperate ThathuThakus say Sasuke fell in love with Sakura on that time he acknowledged her about her Genjutsu abilities. If that's the case, Shouldn't he be possessive here???
However,
Naruto got his adorable burning face, when Lee asked for a Fight with Sasuke... While ignoring the fact that, Lee was still flirting with Sakura. Even Sasuke also don't seems to react anything.
So, This scene is an exposition to show that both Sasuke and Naruto don't care if anyone shows their interest in Sakura. (Romantically).
This is another scene which shows Naruto's disinterest towards the attention Sakura receives from opposite Gender. Another Clueless Face!!!
But, Sasuke also didn't bother about this... He was lost in his own thoughts as to what happened just now.. And how he beat those Sound ninjas... Didn't SS claim that Sasuke controlled his cursed seal because of Sakura's hug so he loved her all along??? Then shouldn't he be possessive about Sakura here???
Lee's fondness towards Sakura has no reaction from either Sasuke or Naruto. This is something the Author wanted to establish on multiple occasions.
Along with that.
This is also a reflection towards Sakura's character. Like what kind of man she really wanted.
Throughout the story, you might have noticed that... No one gives two figs about Sakura and her existence. Kakashi, as a sensei, Occasionally concerned about her safety. But other than that, no one cared about her or considered her as important.
But Lee was the only person who openly admitted that he likes her and displayed affection. Stood up for her when she was in Grave Danger... Acknowledged her Importance that, "Before we meet again, I'll have become a stronger man.. I swear it!".
Now imagine all of these were done and said by Sasuke... (???).
Sakura would've jumped with Joy, Didn't she???
And as it happens... Sasuke did what Lee did to Sakura once....
In Road to Ninja Movie... (Not Written by Kishi but the entire story was his and screenplay was written by someone else).
So, Sakura loves her man to show affection, present her flower, prioritize her, care for her safety....
But she wanted all that from Sasuke!!!! Poor thing. When will she and her minions would realize that Sasuke, in his life, would never ever do these type of stuffs???
So, Being nice towards Lee is her way of being grateful for the fact that he is the only person to appreciate her and acknowledged her... And saved her life when it really mattered.
But it all went down the drain, the moment she ditched him in the middle of the road to pursue her Sasuke-kun in the Kage Summit Arc.

Sasuke
Send me a character and I'll tell you:
First impression:
I first met him through a Naruto game on the nintendo DS my friend let me borrow and so my first impression was entirely related to his abilities in the game. Which I thought were pretty lame. It was Naruto Ninja Destiny, I believe. So I wasn't really interested in him at all I just vaguely knew he "turned evil" because I saw him in the Akatsuki cloak and I was like "oh, his evil older brother corrupted him? that sucks"
Impression now:
My baby boy forever. I will see characters come and go and will have many phases but Sasuke will always have a special space in my heart.
Favorite moment:
I think the entire moment where he's speaking to the Hokage he made Orochimaru revive. Not only because it was such a great moment of character growth for him, a decision he made without like 3 awful adults manipulating him into it at once, but because it was honestly kind of funny, too. Imagine going up to the God of all Shinobi and saying "btw, my brother is better than you". Sasuke physically cannot stay three minutes around an adult without disrespecting them.
Idea for a story:
One day I'll write that Team Taka character exploration longfic and then it'll be over for you bitches.
Unpopular opinion:
It's twenty twenty TWO put the anti-Konoha/Sasuke-was-right essays down. We get it. Everyone gets it. Most people agree. I agree. I don't need to see the same 5 posts I've been seeing since I logged onto this website in 2016 anymore, talk about something else oh my GOD.
Same goes for the fucking shipping discourse, everyone stop arguing about sasunarusasusakunaruhina or whatever and join me into SasuGaa and PolyTaka nation
Favorite relationship:
I guess still his relationship with Itachi? I'm soft for their childhood flashbacks but I also like exploring Sasuke's feelings on him after he learns the truth about him + after their final moments together. Meaning it depresses me to think about it and apparently I can't get enough of Sasuke angst. It's just a really fucked up sort of attachment and I'd like to imagine how he ends up dealing with it and growing out of it so it doesn't hurt him anymore :(
Favorite headcanon:
I have two faves:
1- Sasuke used his sharingan to study theory while under Orochimaru in order to memorize things more quickly + to train himself to get used to using his sharingan at the same time. So now he knows a lot of random trivia that is basically useless to him by heart. It only serves him when once in a blue moon he hears someone say a fact about one of the very specific topics he knows about and he's able to tell them that they're wrong.
2- Sasuke does not listen to rock/punk/metal or any of the genres people say he does because of the emo stereotype. Everyone else on Team 7, however, does.
