I'm so far behind in Campaign 3 like, episode 77 I think? But by all the posts online I can see Bells Hells seems to be thriving (except FCG womp Womp) which is lovely.
Imma probably just observe funky clips and posts until I get hyper fixated again.

yk as much as i hate desmond's death. and i mean it, i HATE desmond's death (bc it's an art-defying soulless rushed corporate decision intended to keep churning out content rather than complete the story the original creator intended)
i do quite like how they completely switch up on the tropes of the heroic sacrifice. they don't make it out to be some grand greater good thing where desmond is revered. it's undeniably heroic but it's also horribly sad and empty. the imagery of his broken hidden blade on the ground as abstergo drag away his body bag. the voice notes where you realise this was just a troubled young man, anxious and trying to work things out but never given the chance (twenty five is so very young). it's different from the usual romanticisation of sacrifice and i guess i quite like that aspect of it, it doesnt make you feel warm and satisfied bc the hero saved the day, it just... makes you so sad for him
not to give ubisoft too much credit though. he was doomed by the narrative but bc the narrative was stupid...

i think the most annoying part of amatonormativity is that not only do you NEED to feel love, and not only is there an order your relationships must follow (romantic/sexual partnership above all, then family, then friends) but the fact that other people HAVE to be your top priority. like even if you feel all kinds of attraction, if you dare put anything else above your relationships they consider you evil. god forbid you enjoy your hobbies more than being around your friends even though how much you care about something is completely outside of your control. it's the worst.

Rereading the manga. And I love how Clara is allowed to be weird and silly, while still being able to develop her magic and get stronger.
I am more used to western animation then anime nowadays, which is definetly where wacky concepts but serious characters thrive (like 90% of Once Piece characters), so I forgot how it feels to let silly characters be silly for this long. A lot of media keeps sending them to the edgy route if they want to develop the plot... Not awful, but they loose this chard of themselves.
It's nice that Raim worked with Clara on what she got, and not on what she didn't, during pre-harvest. That the effort went on building upon her bloodline magic and the appeal of childhood and playfulness (im not talking dirty shit, this is about the Toy Box spell, the please God don't get it twisted) instead of going on a sensual route that would be very off and forced on her character.
It's nice that other characters, and the world itself, acknowledge that she's not all dumb, she has a weird logic. And that logic is just as valid as any other, like how we see in the Heartbreak arc. She didn't fail because her logic was nonsense, because her plan worked, but because Stolas had the high ground against her. (she quite reminds me of Maddie from EAH in this way, iykwim.). You can also see that in a great display during the Music Festival arc, where there's this 1 chapter about Clara and Azz learning each other ways as to work better together, and how after that Azz is more understanding of how she thinks and, and how some of the weird things she says makes full sense in context.
I'm all here for a Clara centric plotline at anytime soon, I think is well over at this point. I want to see her have more relevance to the overall story. Or a deeper character exploration that's beyond 2 chapter length. Anyways, we love Clara in this blog.

SVSSS x Ace Attorney!!!
this au was created by amazing @crowlyne (sorry for tagging), but that's just my spin on this and might not be fully compliant with her version. Check her out for the og au version (and amazing art)
here's my take on OG LBH and MBJ for the au. explanation: I imagine that LBG is a prosecutor who tries to get SJ to jail. And MBJ serves as his right hand man/detective. Basically Edgeworth and Gumshoe but they're demons and rude.
LBG is his usual flirty self, but becomes super irritated when Phoenix tries to defend SJ in court. He probably bought his licence in the Abyss somewhere. Mb forged an evidence or two, but no one knows about it (except MBJ, cuz he helped him)
MBJ is the scary and cruel detective. He works for LBG and is very loyal to him. MBJ accompanies LBG in every case they work on, and never let's any attorney to the crime scene. I imagine Phoenix always getting shivers down his spine while talking to him. Also MBJ probably doesn't even look at Phoenix' direction if he isn't addressed with proper respect.
This drawing is based on Shi-Long Lang's and Shih-Na sprites from Ace Attorney Investigations.
Also, as per usual, they bully Phoenix cuz why not.

So, in Phil's live stream where he watched s2e2 (We Started An Illegal Food Truck) He said that the chapter had a catchphrase and that Charlie said it a lot in the episode. That got me thinking, is there gonna be reoccurring stuff in s3 too? I think so
In s3e1 Tommy said "Up" to a few things. The "Chicken UP" bit is a prime example. I thought it was just a dumb bit at first but i noticed that he says "Sorry UP" a little before the chicken part. It's not a lot of evidence but i think that he has an "UP" thing in s3.
I said "He" has an "UP" catchphrase, not "They." Why? because they all say that Tommy saying "Sorry UP" was weird. If it was a group catchphrase, they would have gone along with it, BUT THEY DIDN'T! I think that in s3 either only Tommy has a catchphrase, or they all have catchphrases. That's just a little something i'm thinking about tho, not too sure about it
That's that, right? WRONG! There's MORE weird shit in s3e1! Well, weirder that Sorry's normal weird
In the subtitles, there are certain words with spaces in them for no reason! In both instances, the subtitles are for Tommy. There could be something there but idk
ALSO! In every case where someone has said the word "Sorry" it has been capitalized in the subtitles. It's a reference to the channel and i think it's a nice detail. There is ONE (1) exception to this rule, and it's at the end of s3e1 by Charlie
LOWER CASE! IT'S FUCKING LOWER CASE! WHY THE HELL IS IT LOWER CASE???
I'm almost 100% sure that these mean nothing but i want an excuse to be crazy about my hyperfixation, ok? PLUS it could mean something soooo
