Chara is pretty small, it feels like I'm holding a baby kitten, haha! Luckily they're also easy to move and don't have many restrictions... Result: my new fav figure to animate!!

Kind of a weird AU but hear me out:

Finwe marries Indis, right? Most controversial thing Finwe ever done and that includes leading elves from their ancestral home to a new continent to live with gods. Silmarillion says that it happened because he fell in love and I believe it BUT what Silmarillion doesn't tell you is WHEN Finwe marries Indis. I saw posts that say the canon is inconclusive and Tolkien probably changed his mind a lot, and half of what of what Tolkien wrote is thrown from the window by fandom, so.

Anyway, one of the versions said Feanor was at least a teenager when Finwe/Indis happens (I think). What Silmarillion states is that Feanor married VERY young by elven standards, and that Nerdanel was below his station (classism? in elven society? apparently!).

Last thing before I get to the main point: Fingolfin marries Anaire, a Noldo lady, who I saw often enough written as a noble or a court lady, perfectly fine that, no idea if that's canon. And Finarfin very much marries Teleri princess.

...I don't know guys, it feels very convienient. For princes to fall in love with exactly the kind of women who would be approved by royal court and strenghten political ties with other elven factions. If it was anything else than silm, I would call political marriages.

Time for crack: based on what I wrote above I propose an AU where it was FEANOR who was supposed to marry Indis. For politics! Vanyar are the most important faction in Aman! Let's marry into that!

But the MOMENT Feanor became an adult and they could process with courting without making it creppier than it already is, Feanor runs off to elope with his coworker and there's nothing they can do. Well, that's what Finwe tells Ingwe when Ingwe rages about it to him.

Finwe loves Feanor, he wants him to marry for love, and that's exactly what happens. But, uh, all Vanyar are pissed that there's no political marriage when they were promised one (they mad cause they look stupid now), and, well. Finwe decides to bite the bullet. For his son.

It's not true of course. But imagine family dinners after that.

Hiiii! If this isn’t too bothersome, how do you manage to keep on making this series without ever feeling tired or burnt out? Huge fan of your work btw!!!

Hello!

Oh, but I do feel tired and burnt out every now and then. But making animations is my comfort zone and something I'm really interested in, so making it gives me joy and purpose.

And with all the different work phases making animations is actually very diverse and won't get boring, but it is very much work and attention to details. So you will get tired and frustrated, but then it's good to take a brake and do something else and have a good night sleep.

Also, when I start feelings stress over my work, I'll take a few steps back and tell myself it's not worth stressing over something you enjoy: or else it'll turn into a bitter, toxic and forced duty you never seeked in the first place (and it will kill your muse for sure). That's why I don't care if people complain me taking long to finish my stuff. I just do this with my own pace, feel no responsibility to deliver, and feel I can quit if I want.

If something I feel more important comes up, I will put my focus on that. I know I will continue this project just as long as I want to and feel joy making it. It may last to the end or not. But I won't stress over it. I hope fans will understand my motives and enjoy the series, one part at a time.

sometimes in your relationship with mingi, you felt like you played more into the parent role than the partner role, which you should be.

you sat on the couch, staring at the tv blankly as you rubbed your temple with one hand. your right ear rang as mingi—your child boyfriend—whined and stomped in the living room, grumpy and incredibly drunk from the party.

ateez was celebrating the end of their comeback and mingi over here drank a bit too much. the members all agreed for you to take him home earlier since he crashed into things and fell twice as much as he normally did.

but now, he's pouty and whining like a baby cause he wanted to 'party a bit more', which you know would've ended in him sleeping in the bathtub for the night.

why do you know that?

because it happened,

seven times before.

you groaned, "fuck, mingi- can't you shut up for a while, please?" he looked at you with puppy eyes for a while, standing before you silently. the only sounds being your shifting on the couch and his small hiccups.

it felt just like a child being lectured by their parent.

you sighed before gesturing for mingi to come sit with you. settling himself next to you, you pulled him into your lap as you began carding your fingers through his hair, lulling him to sleep.

"'m sorry..." he hiccuped. even though he had his face buried into your stomach, you could clearly picture his pouty frown with his bottom lip jutted out.

a small smile tugged at the corners of your lips, pressing a small kiss to his head, "'s okay, honey"

the couple sat in silence, enjoying each others presence. you turned the tv off when you heard light snoring coming from the man in front of you.

even though he makes you want to rip all your hair out and eat your organs, even though you displayed your disapproval of his behaviour from time to time, you wouldn't change anything about it.

because that was what made him special,

that was what made him your baby,

your mingi.
