I had a very odd dream where a train (or bus?) I was on got yanked into another world. While my dream had nothing to do with SVSSS, it did have my waking self thinking about how hilarious and/or horrifying such a thing could be as an AU.

Imagine Shen Yuan riding the subway, train or bus one day, when something happens and his whole car gets yanked into the world of PIDW. Nobody else in the car knows anything about PIDW, so Shen Yuan finds himself with the self imposed task of keeping this eccentric group of strangers alive in a weird world full of demons, monsters, and aphrodisiac plants.

The group’s first assumption would probably be that they’re still on modern earth, and just got teleported somewhere. Their second assumption, if they come across common folk, might be they somehow ended up in the past.

Then they run into some monster, or people riding on swords with specific uniforms, or a commoner mentions a name or event only Shen Yuan recognizes. The rest of the party debates what sort of Xianxia or Wuxia world they’ve ended up in, while poor Shen Yuan sweats bullets. He knows exactly what world they are in, and they are so screwed.

I have this image of poor beleaguered nerd Shen Yuan successfully protecting and leading this group of primary school kids, their cute teacher, and a handful of grannies and grandpas, while all the other adults and older teens keep wandering off and getting themselves in trouble.

This is just an /opinion/ and I'm just tryna find ppl that agree with me.

I do not think having kids could quote on quote "fix" Shen Jiu, biological or otherwise. 1) A kid should not bear the responsibility to be that emotionally invested in the shit mental health of their caregiver. Don't make any child go through that. And 2) Nothing about any child could make Shen Jiu be a decent caregiver out of his own volition (sure, he was nice to NYY and probably did care for her, but that's about how far it went ejrrjf tho I'll gladly eat up AUs where he does treat her like a daughter when he knows how to care for a kid properly).

Good luck trying to make Shen Jiu get his shit together unless you're actually changing things about his past. The easiest "fix" imo is to give Shen Jiu an ADULT, heavy emphasis on this, an ADULT that could invest in his mental/emotional wellbeing when Shen Jiu is still a kid or a teen. How else do you expect Shen Jiu to be a responsible adult around kids when he's never had a responsible adult to care for him at all?

There's not a single authority figure in Shen Jiu's life that's ever done him good, not QJL, not WY, and SJ's own shizun, the prev. QJPL is up for debate but I have reasons to believe why they ain't shit too. And like hear me out, YQY doesn't count either coz SJ *thinks* YQY is another caregiver that gave up on him and didn't take responsibility for him. And obviously that's not true, but that's just how it is from his perspective sadly.

I still really like Shen Jiu's dark backstory, coz there's no Shen Jiu without it, buuuuuuuut if you really want a version of him that doesn't take that bullshit out on his disciples, do give him an ADULT, coz never a kid, give him and adult first, before you give him any kids, so he can LEARN HOW TO BE AN ADULT.

Dpxdc Au: Dani has taken up letter writing on her adventures around the world! It gives Danny something to look forward to even if he can just text or call her… wait why is she spending so much time in Gotham??

Danny was thrilled that his clone sister had taken to writing letters as part of her travels- sure he could always give her phone a ring but this was so much cuter! She always included little drawings of things she’d seen and it was obvious that she was using letter writing as a way to reflect.

Jazz had mentioned that it was probably kind of like diary writing being good self-reflection time… Danny kind of zoned out during that lecture turned instruction manual, but he’s still super excited everytime a new letter shows up! Plus it’s not like his mom or dad ever check the mailbox.

Her letter last time was all about Gotham and the creepy heroes she talked to while she was there. It had a lot of details but Danny just figured she must have thought a lot about it with her own connection to having powers and using them for good. He’s hoping that she chose to go to metropolis or even Central City next but he opens the next letter and… Gotham.

She’s still in Gotham. Apparently she really likes the creepy heroes now, and she totally saved their butts on a mission. Huh, well, okay. It’s not like Danny is going to tell her to move on, cause the city’s most famous anti-power aka anti-meta advocate is hanging out with her according to her letters… whatever. He gives her a call but she says she’s in the middle of a board game night and will call him back.

2 weeks go by and a new letter arrives- checking the postage- she’s still in Gotham!!! She’s staying with a family that she really likes and thinks Danny would like as well, they have all his favorite video games and the food doesn’t even fight back! Danny is starting to get a bit anxious but… he’s glad she’s getting some semblance of normalcy.

Next few letters are detailing her life with this family and then in the last one she calls the oldest kid “Big Brother Energy times 1,000” and it makes Danny come to a realization.

Holy shit- Dani’s been adopted!!

He immediately flies to Gotham to inspect this family and what the heck? Why are they being so nice to him?? He’s trying to interrogate them!! Dani stop helping them!! He doesn’t need to also be adopted!! Ugh!!

Blueteller's post about the Heavenly Demon rlly got my gears going and had seeking out posts like yours that highlights just how unhinged that mf is.

Now, because of that, it made me think of the only other Heavenly Demon ik from another fandom, Lou Binghe. I think Tcf's Heavenly Demon got Black hair and read eyes too? idk if he got a thing on his forehead as well but it makes me thinky-think: A tcfxsvsss crossover where Cale and co. (maybe even just Cale and Heavenly D) gets dropped into svsss and causes chaos

I saw Blueteller's post too and that is literally the most accurate image to describe Heavenly Demon that man is insane (I love him dearly)

Now, Heavenly Demon doesn't have any red themes at all. Just black hair, black eyes, black outfit. Think the Heavenly Demon from SSS Class Su!cide/Revival Hunter but male.

And another difference between our Heavenly Demon and Luo Binghe is that, while Luo Binghe is a half demon with actual demon blood flowing through him, Heavenly Demon is literally a human that just became INSANELY strong and can now easily beat the crap out of everyone without breaking a sweat. So a fight between these two would be so interesting.

Now my knowledge about SVSSS is a bit rusty since it's been so long since I read the novel and I have major memory gaps of it, but if our Heavenly Demon and Luo Binghe happened to meet it would be ON SIGHT! Not one bit of hesitation they would immediately throw hands.

Cale would Immediately start cheering Heavenly Demon and I think Shen Qingqiu would first go "BINGHE WTF!?" but start feeling competitive towards Cale and start cheering for Binghe too
