“What the fuck, why would they do that?!”

The frustration coursed through you as McLaren’s decision to box Lando first flashed across the screen. Oscar was leading the race, on the brink of his first victory, and yet they chose to pit Lando first. It didn’t make any sense. Every nerve in your body was on edge as you watched the race unfold. The radio messages about switching positions were maddening. It felt like McLaren was orchestrating the race rather than letting it happen naturally.

Finally, when the order came for Lando to let Oscar through, you felt a mixture of relief and lingering irritation. This was Oscar’s moment, his hard-fought victory, but the team’s strategy had cast a shadow over it, making it seem as if it was a gift rather than something he had earned.

When it was time for the podium celebration, your heart swelled with pride. Watching Oscar spray the champagne, his face illuminated with joy, was everything you had dreamed of. The crowd’s cheers echoed in your ears, and you could hardly contain your excitement. He had done it. He had won his first F1 race, and you were bursting with happiness for him.

After the celebrations, you and Oscar are on the way to the hotel. "McLaren needs to get their stuff together," you told him, shaking your head. "They almost ruined it with their strategy. But you, babe, you were amazing out there. You earned that victory."

Oscar smiled, a tired but satisfied look on his face. "Thank you. I can't wait to go home and sleep."

You shook your head playfully. "Oh no, we have dinner tonight. We're celebrating, sorry not sorry."

He groaned, half-jokingly. "Can't we just stay in?"

"Absolutely not," you insisted, laughing. "We're going to have a nice dinner, drink, dance, and celebrate your victory properly."

The dinner party was a nice turnout. Friends and fellow racers gathered around, the atmosphere buzzing with excitement and congratulations. You and Oscar mingled, shared drinks, and danced, reveling in the celebratory mood. Laughter and cheers filled the air, making the night unforgettable.

On the way to the hotel in the car, you couldn’t keep your hands off Oscar. The excitment from the victory was still coursing through both of you, and your desire for him was at an all-time high. You leaned in, kissing his neck softly at first, then more urgently, as your hands roamed over his chest. He tilted his head back, giving you better access as you whispered dirty words into his ear, your breath hot against his skin.

"You're so amazing, Oscar," you murmured, your voice low and seductive. "I can't wait to get you back to the hotel."

He groaned softly, his eyes darkening with desire. "You're driving me crazy, Y/N."

"Sit on the bed," you instructed him, a mischievous glint in your eye.

As soon as you reached the hotel room, you pushed him inside, locking the door behind you. "Sit on the bed," you instructed, your voice commanding yet playful.

Oscar obeyed, his gaze never leaving yours. You slowly began to undress, swaying your hips seductively as you removed each piece of clothing. His eyes followed every movement, his breath hitching as you revealed more of your skin.

Clad only in your lingerie, you straddled his lap, feeling his arousal pressing against you. You ground your hips against him, eliciting a deep moan from his lips. Your hands roamed over his chest, teasing and caressing as you kissed him deeply, your tongue exploring his mouth.

He reached out to touch you, but you pushed his hands away playfully. "Not yet," you teased, moving his hands to his sides as you continued to dance for him. You could feel his arousal growing beneath you, adding to the heat between you.

Finally, you couldn't take it any longer. You pushed him onto the bed and climbed over him, your hands deftly unzipping his pants. You kissed his neck, nibbling on his skin as your hands roamed his body, teasing and tantalizing.

You pushed him back onto the bed, crawling over him with a mischievous glint in your eye. Your fingers deftly unzipped his pants, freeing his erection. You kissed down his chest, trailing your lips lower and lower until you reached his hard length. Oscar's hands tangled in your hair, guiding your movements as he groaned with pleasure. "Fuck baby, that feels so good," he breathed, his voice husky with desire.

His pace quickened, his hips slamming into yours with a relentless rhythm. The room was filled with the sounds of your moans and the wet, rhythmic slap of skin against skin. His name fell from your lips in a litany of pleasure as he brought you closer and closer to the brink.

"Come for me, Y/N," he commanded, his voice a low, sexy growl in your ear.

His words sent you over the edge. Your body tensed, a powerful orgasm ripping through you. You cried out, your nails digging into his back as you clung to him. Oscar followed soon after, his own release hitting him hard. He buried his face in your neck, groaning your name as he filled you with his warmth.

You lay there together, your bodies entwined, both of you breathing heavily as you came down from the high. Oscar gently brushed a strand of hair from your face, his eyes filled with love and satisfaction.

"I love you," he whispered, his voice tender.

The Heist - When the Anführer of District 49 summons Elizabeta for an urgent meeting, she isn't sure what to expect. Gilbert reveals he wants her help in a heist and that it HAS to be her. No one else. Expecting thrills and excitement from the endeavor, she agrees to participate. She doesn't even know what they're stealing, as he's intent on keeping it a secret. But as long as everything goes according to plan all will be revealed… and stolen, of course.

a brief look at the history of hulknussen on ao3

as I was writing up my hulknussen fanfic recommendations masterpost I realized that someone coming into the ship just now is probably missing a decently sized amount of lore on their "meta" history - that is to say, how fandom has treated hulknussen and how it has changed over the years. I'm making a post on it that so I can reference it in the aforementioned masterpost, but you can also just read this if you want to know more about hulknussen's position in f1 rpf fic on ao3. they're no lestappen, but they've had their moments

I'll try my best to boil down the key factors that influenced them, dynamics, characterizations, etc for the three - and soon four - "eras" I have determined for their ship.

the oldest fic currently in their tag dates back to 2015, which was about a year after kevin joined F1. there were a few people writing for this ship back then, and it didn't really gain traction until 2017 with the infamous "suck my balls mate/honey" incident. there was a small but steady stream of fics uploaded to ao3 over the following years. around late 2020/early 2021 was when they started getting put into the background of fics, as well as into compilation works a lot more, slowly but surely earning them the status of a pairing with bruce banner syndrome.

around this, I have determined three eras you can divide hulknussen fics into. this is based on when they were written and posted, not when the fic itself takes place. I can write something today that takes place in 2014 but it (read: characterizations, dynamics, plot devices, etc) would still be influenced by things that have happened since.

anything from before hungary 2017 kmag joins the grid in 2014, when nico is in his fourth season. they didn't really interact much, but had some interesting parallels in their career for these years. there really aren't a lot of fics from this era, which is a shame in my opinion. I know I technically can't write something for this era, but I really want to try to play around with the dynamics common for them at this time. both of them are younger (kevin 20-23, nico 25-28) with everything to prove. nico still has more of a heartthrob status, kevin is the young and impulsive new rookie. nico also doesn't hold the "beloved by no one, cheered on by everyone" status he has nowadays. he's just kinda there, doing nothing with a friendly smile and never bothering anyone (as opposed to the rest of the grid borderline trying to murder each other in their rivalries).

the last thing I think you can point out is that it was a lot of au's - and I dont mean canon divergence or what if's, but "hulknussen except one is an angel and the other is a demon" "firefighter", "showjumper", that sort of level of au. it is how fandom used to be. nowadays it's more focused on tropes and "canon" (in quotations because rpf) plays a bigger role than it used to.

suck my balls, honey, and all that it brought this part is pretty straightforward. they had their moment in hungary and it spawned a few hate fucking/sexual tension/enemies to lovers fics. there was for sure an uptick around 2017 and even into 2018, but what this moment did way more importantly was cement them as a pair with both history and a "canon" dynamic at all. think of it; hungary is the first time anyone really saw them interact. for a lot of people that was the number 1 thing connecting these two and was basically expected if they were tagged in a fic.

their portrayals boiled down to two, really: the horny one, and the less-horny one. the first is pretty self explanatory, we got two guys who really don't seem to like each other and we make them bang because it's hot. the latter might involve repressed feelings, "secretly together but putting on an act for others", soulmates and making up because of it - kind of, the typical enemies to lovers trope.

(fun fact I want to include; kevin said in 2019 that he never felt much of a grudge towards nico after hungary and held a lot of respect for him. he also said that nico was refusing to even just look at him, and simply determined that nico must have taken hungary very personally while he himself didnt care a lot. it's one of my favourite hulknussen tidbits that I think can really be played around with when writing fic set in this era/using this dynamic.)

it's also worth mentioning that this was when a/b/o as a whole was going mainstream in fandom spaces (and honestly even outside of them, but I wont dive into the implications of that here) which of course also reached F1/hulknussen. some fics fell into the trap of "uwu bottom" and "strong top" stereotypes as a result, usually with kevin as the omega and nico as the alpha. I'm mentioning it because I think that, like hungary 2017, it left its mark in their dynamic and how people cho(o)se to portray them even outside of a/b/o contexts. I will also be honest and say that it's not my personal preferred interpretation, but I acknowledge that it exists, and I won't even deny that maybe it's influenced my own portrayals in ways I haven't noticed.

up until 2019 most of the fics tagged as hulknussen still centered on them. then around 2020-2021 they started getting tagged as a background, side, etc pairing more and more, slowly taking over their tag. I think it was mainly because they had a (at first glance, anyway) simplistic and familiar dynamic with the archetype of enemies/rivals to lovers. it was easy to slot into the background of a fic, easy to use as a catalyst for the main pairing, that sort of thing.

that doesn't mean there were no hulknussen fics being written. I'm mentioning it because it's a development that has stuck around, and they are still often delegated to the sidelines in favour of younger and more popular ships. the fics that were written about them didn't all stick to the enemies to lovers archetype, however! fluff, making up and fics that simply ignored hungary and kept going like before were still being written.

making up (and making out?), haasbands, "my favourite dane", kevin's defence masterclasses, and probably so much more *you are here they make up sometime in 2022. both of them are older, they have matured. both of them are now married and both of them are fathers. they have survived a pandemic (together, kinda) as well as survived being out of the sport and returning. then they're announced as teammates for 2023. it is, of course, a decently huge deal in the wider F1 community. not everyone knows they made up, and media does what they do best, which is stir shit. they didn't manage to convince everyone that they wouldn't implode and take haas with them, but they proved themselves a decent duo in 2023.

it's 2024 when things really kick off. günther is fired from the team and replaced as team principal by ayao. gene decides to invest more capital into F1 over NASCAR, and somehow haas is the only team on the entire grid that didn't have super misleading wind tunnel analysis results (that's not entirely true; theirs were misleading, but theirs were telling them their car is worse than it actually is, whereas everyone else went into 2024 expecting to be better than they ended up being at the beginning of the season). so, overall, haas is in a good spot and on an upwards trajectory.

cue jeddah 2024. kevin racks up penalties like crazy because the fia is trying to be stricter and punish more harshly by giving out 10s instead of 5s penalties. which, credit where credit is due, it did what they wanted, which is ruin kevin's race, and ruining someone's race is a solid way of making sure they don't become a repeated offender (you would think so, anyway). kmag uses the opportunity to hold back the entire back of the field so the gap between him and nico is big enough to buy nico an entire pitstop. that is a crazy feat on so many levels. that takes slowing down without being overtaken. like, forcing the other race cars to slow down when they could easily go faster, in a race where the entire point is to go fast. he needed to speed off into the sunsent during the straights and slow down crazily fast in the corners, all while managing tyres. and the madlad did it and then gives interviews with a big fat smile, saying he "had to do [his] thing to protect nico". okay, we get it, youre married, get a room

the "enemies to lovers arc" and "haasbands" jokes go mainstream. nico calls kevin his favourite dane and describes their relationship as "[their] little romance". they watch the euros together and post pics of it with them smiling at each other like they are actually married. nico wants kevin to go to audi with him, kevin keeps playing the team game for nico even off-track, spending way too much time defending him and his actions. the haasbands as we know them have been birthed.

(before I go on a tangent any longer about this era, let's actually get to what fics from "then" are like. it's the current state of things, so I can't give conclusive statements, but I can make some deductions already.)

before the hard launch of the haasbands, around 2022 and 2023, their fics went into the direction of slow burns, making up, and (mutual) pining. 2024 shook things up again.

with the 2024 season still going, this is pretty much as close up to date as possible as we can get. the current dynamic that has been crystalizing is what I like calling feral dog kevin and lovestruck nico. it's very descriptive, so, you know, Im sure you can imagine what I mean. kevin's attempts at securing nico points also hasnt gone unnoticed by the mainstream community, and jokes about nico getting his first podium because kevin chose to play pinball with all the 18 other drivers are getting more frequent. there is also the upcoming "divorce", courtesy to both of them leaving haas at the end of the season and haas being the sole reason haasbands exists in the first place (both the moniker and the new dynamic).

I predict we'll be entering a fourth era soon, which is the post F1 era. while I don't like to think about it, it seems less and less likely that kevin will get the audi seat, and it is also the only seat left on the grid currently. nico will stay for some longer I do believe, but even his end is approaching. the number of fics being written will start dying off. I can't really say if a new dynamic will come up; I would think not, unless kevin decides to be unhinged and starts coming to races acting in borderline wag capacity to nico, or both of them move to indy or wec or something.

now, just for self indulgence's sake, the fourth era could also be kevin goes to audi, they turn into… audibands? stakebands? and Audi actually develops a great car and they get off the ground running and kevin can break that record of "most career starts without having lead a lap" while nico gets his first podium and breaks his undesirable record. we get an uptick in fics, the feral dog kevin and lovestruck nico dynamic evoles a bit further to be just a little bit deranged with an edge of codependence to it and then they retire and take their ship with them, if maybe a bit less abruptly than in the first "fourth era" I described.

or, who knows; maybe we don't get a fourth era. maybe their tag has reached the end of it's evolution. we'll just have to see.

How Many Hetalians Have I Killed In My Fanfics?

If there's anything that makes it hard to promote my own writing, aside from the length of the fics and the topic matters, it's the heavy death tolls.

Absorbing the Deck (18 deaths) and The Nefarious Mathilda Jones (25 deaths) really went to town with it, while my other three fics have toned it down to 1-2 deaths per story. However, I still have that inkling to write another mass-death story at some point.

That's why I figured that a little disclaimer about the death toll to attach to my profile's Fanfiction Masterlist would be a good idea. I went back through my (currently five) fanfics to see how many characters I've killed off and who's managed to live to the end of every story. The tallies are below the cut!

NOTES (SPOILERS AHEAD)

Note 1 - In Absorbing The Deck, these characters are mentioned as previous Deck Royals serving Hearts, Clubs or Diamonds. Their deaths are mentioned in passing for how and when the current set of Deck Royals came into power. As this is more background information than anything, these deaths do not count in the official death list.

Note 2 - Extreme major spoiler alert here for The Nefarious Mathilda Jones, their two deaths were 100% faked and therefore do not count. If you've read the story and still don't know how she survived that, the clues all come from the chapter before her sudden death. That previous death scene paints in excruciating detail what was for show versus what actually caused the death. Naturally, since she was still alive, they both escaped in time.

Note 3 - For The English Quixote, it is believed at the time of the story that she's been dead for 6 years. It's revealed later on that she's just magically comatose, and true love's kiss can wake her up again. Since she was not actually dead, this does not count on the death list.

Note 4 - Contrary to the past deaths not mattering in Absorbing the Deck, these two deaths many centuries prior to the main plot for Only Aces Remain do count. Tolys gets a whole chapter to tell his life story and narrate the events that led to both Feliks's death and his own execution for twelve (12) counts of regicide.

So as I said im obsessed with the von Krolocks being hungarians so I'm gonna share my best hc names for Count von Krolock

And just to be clear I love the Breda von Krolock headcanon but during the time period he was born hungarians and székelyek (hungarian ethnicity) were the ones in position of power so its more likely he was hungarian than romanian

So anyways my top 5ish names for him

#6-Bánk von Krolock: (for hungarians yes as a reference to Bánk Bán) its from a hungarian origin and means Bán (wich was kinda like a rank like a count) it just rolls nicely off the tounge and because we only know him as Count von Krolock its funny if he was just named after another rank)

#5- Előd von Krolock: Another name of hungarian origin. It meand "First" but has been interpreted as "Beginning" which is kinda fitting if we see him as the beginning of this whole vampire thing. Also means "ancestor".

#4- Holló von Krolock: Holló literally means Raven. Sounds Gothic, thats all.

#3- Táltos von Krolock: also hungarian origins, means "Possessing magical abilities" and it comes from the word táltos who were basically prophets of the old hungarian religion (before christianity) who were doctors, prophets and other religious roles. They werent taught, instead "called" to this role. Which goes nicely with Krolocks seemingly magical abilities like teleporting during the songs (or running really fast) and how he refers to himself as a mage during songs (mostly trying to very (not) subtly rizz up Alfred)

#2- Lehel von Krolock: Hungarian origin, comes from the old name "Lél". It probably means "soul" and that kinda explains why I picked it no?

#1- Vajk von Krolock: Look it just sounds nice. Also old hungarian name, originally the name of Saint Stephen before he got baptised. And the meaning is "rich" and "plentiful".

But hear me out. Some people say Vajk originates from the name Bajik which means "Righteous man" Ironic.

Honorable mentions:

+Ódor von Krolock. Comes from the german name Ulrich and means "Grand" and "Ruler" which is fitting but i wanted to go for hungarian origins

+²Géza von Krolock -Given that ALMOST EVERYONE WAS CALLED EITHER GÉZA OR BÉLA OR JÁNOS OR ANDRÁS OR LÁSZLÓ during that time its fitting but Géza as a name is kinda memed on in hungary (you know its so common its funny) and I can't unsee that here) Also original hungarian name, means "Little prince" or well "princeling" to be accurate, just like Bán, its a name coming from a rank.

+even more slightly less honorable mentions:

Kálmán-turkish origin, means "Left alive" which is funny for an undead count

Koppány- hungarian origin, means "grand" "victorious" "strong"

Herbert- Lets be honest here. If you look at any noble families you see tons of "II" and "III" heck sometimes even "IV". Even in their era there are tons of kids wearing their fathers name. Other than plot reasons why would they be different?

Hard to do Crossover

Time to time, watching the lots of crossovers fans do about Varian with anything, I thought about one of the fandom I liked and spend lots of years in it

Does any of you knew about the Hetalia fandom ?

Humanized countries anime, before the creation of Countryballs and Country humans but after the old newspaper cartoons about each one nation spirit like "Uncle Sam" for the USA and "John Bull"for the UK?

(My mind playing easy and silly after a whole day playing difficult xD)

Varian and Hugo cosplaying France and England because I can't decide which one fits better 🫠😎🤓

I tried to find who in the Hetalia cast would be fitting for a role swap with the Vat7k characters, but they are so different from each other , even the similar things between them have to be pushed xD

Long time ago, my favorite fanfics and fancomics were "Historical accurrate" focused, but most the content was about romance , so I endup becoming a big fan of:

FrUK : France x United Kingdom

USUK : United States x United Kingdom

Usually along with "FACE family" Dynamic, France and England as parents , Canada and America as adoptive sons

Then , I got a more deep liking for England , so I would get any England x (any other country) material

As well for USA x (any other country)

Varian: From a germanic country, so we have some to pick between the very Germany, or Prussia, Austria, Switzerland, Lietchestein, Bravaria or Kugel Mugel, but most of them have a serious stoic attitude

Except Prussia, who likes to play funny, is clean and disciplinated , writing a lot for his journal so everyone can know about his amazing adventures and goals, high self esteem, able to play teacher/mother/father/older brother role to any who wants to take lessons from him or who needs him, during the manga pages (and anime chapters) about Industrial revolution, he and his lil bro showed great engineering skills and enthusiasm.

Hey, when we think about Rapunzel, we were taught about her Germanic origins, then on the Tangled making, there was a mention about how the team wanted Germany as main influence and a few of Spain influence , and maybe not lots of you saw it, but there was a fanart about Prussia and Hungary cosplaying Eugene and Rapunzel that got re-posted on most old Facebook accounts about Hetalia

So feels like Prussia role was already taken at the Tangled cast, as well, Hungary on her cannon scenes, used a frying pan as weapon too.

Next pick for a fitting role for Varian, it may be , America? I don't know xD , joyful, friendly, strong, innovative, but doesn't knows how to measure his skills or social contact so he endups pushing everyone boundaries or ignoring safety codes, loves heroic tales and wants to be the hero of the situation at sigh, too bad he makes exaggerated bad takes due to his inexperience.

England, either for Hugo or Varian

A tsundere who suffered social exclusion during his early existence, who fought all the way to stop being poor, forgotten and put aside to reach riches, glory and power, not losing contact with his magical paranormal friends, yet, having difficult times to accept friendship or love from others, facing betrayings as well, a little bit of low self esteem, trying to compensate with other things (as with aggression and search for more power), for innovation, he tried engineering but his ideas were too eccentric so he would end up laughed at for his impractical machines, yet, searching ways to improve.

I need to make this shorter so I'll skip talking about France

As well about China or any other asian country for Yong

Sadly for Nuru , there are very few African or Oceanic based characters, most of them on a sole official videogame of the series with not enough screen time on the show, yet, nice to search around the fanbase

Any way, find something for an "accurrate " role swap is difficult, maybe cosplaying would be the only thing I would fantasy about xDdDDDDdD

The only "legit" version for a Crossover of Hetalia and Tangled would be creating brand new OCs of each one of the locations in the map of this world, specially about the 7 kingdoms

Bayangor looks kin to any country from Southeast Asia , so I would pick Indonesia (the series got a femenine character sketch, but then, changed it for a male one, either way, just for the manga and not the anime)

Galcrest and Nesdernia would certainly be about native american communities, sadly, most of them are drawn as OCs for the fandom, no actual cannon characters

Pittsford and Corona looks germanic enough, hehe, we could pick similarities with other European countries

The Dark Kingdom gave hints about Scotland , so it's easier

Ingvarr, according to some post, was supposed to be Persian/ Arabic influence, as well for Koto, African influence, but is vague, and both of them, reversing the role of colonization, looking like ... O dear, I have to go.

This fic will always be one of my favorites just because it's hilarious to me that Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask take sooo long to find out each other's identities in the anime but in the case of PruHun it's not that they're totally oblivious, it's just that they really wouldn't want to believe the other is actually a cool superhero?? And with Gil it's like... my dude... you are jealous of yourself??

Hetalia Headcanon #8

(Prepare for angst. There's probably a fanfic on this, but whatever. This came to mind and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it).

It's not just Prussia who knows that Germany is HRE. Austria, Hungary, and even France know this as well. After Prussia took HRE in and found that he had no memories of his life before becoming Germany, Prussia was faced with a choice.

He could either choose to educate Germany on his past life, thus forcing him to relive the pain and trauma he'd suffered. Or he could just leave his little brother in the dark about his past to spare him the emotional turmoil, thus giving the poor kid a clean slate. Prussia chose the latter.

But to make sure his little brother never found out the truth, he had to come clean to Austria, Hungary, and France. Why those three? Because those three already knew HRE quite well before he became Germany. Prussia understood that if they saw his new little brother, they'd be able to connect the dots pretty quickly. And to make sure they didn't say anything to or around Germany, he had to tell them about the choice he made regarding the boy's well-being.

He came clean to them not long after Germany was made a nation. While initially hesitant, they heard out his reasoning and agreed that this was probably the best choice for Germany. It was best to give the kid a fresh start.

Austria, however, brought up the fact that Italy was still in love with HRE, and was deep in mourning, as he believed him to be dead. Prussia told him that, while it was unfortunate, they had to keep little Italy in the dark as well. All to protect this secret. They all reluctantly agreed.

As Germany got older, Prussia pondered whether or not to tell him the truth, but there eventually came a time when he felt there would be no point in telling him. So he, Austria, Hungary, and France all keep the secret to this day.

With no intention to tell Germany anything.

(Like I said, there's probably a fanfic on this somewhere on the internet, but this has been buzzing around my head for the last several days and I had to write it out).

Hi there, welcome to my blog! My name is Karina and I’m a 32 years old writer from Hungary. I’ve been writing since I was 13, mostly fanfic, short original stories, and poems, but I have recently started working on my second novel (the first one was historical fiction, this one is fantasy). Here I will post snippets from my writing projects, and other writing related content. As for my username -- it's my favorite german word and it literally translates to dragon food or dragon fodder. Anyway now we can add Hungarian to the languages used in "Sweet Dreams" series.

Because.

(I actually considered using Rromani Chib, or Lovari dialect, but 1. I'm not sure if it's the accurate language for the origins, and 2. as an outsider and those languages being used already by a closed group, I highly feel like this isn't my place. Luckily for me, my HC is that Dick's grandparents (Mary's parents) immigrated from Hungary in the 1960s. HC for the win.

TLDR: Dick is either Lovari or Keldrash, and his grandparents immigrated from Hungary. They spoke Hungarian and Vlax Romani, which his mother also spoke a little, but Dick only knows a few words. )
