Putin is apparently now sending his troops to Ukraine armed only with firearms with limited ammo and small shovels which were designed the year before Vladimir Lenin was born. By “firearms” it’s probably meant to indicate personal weapons which can be carried by one individual. These Russians are facing Ukrainians who are much more heavily armed.

Russian reservists are likely using "shovels" for "hand-to-hand" combat in Ukraine due to a shortage of ammunition, the UK's Ministry of Defence says.

In late February, reservists described being ordered to assault a Ukrainian position "armed with only 'firearms and shovels'", the ministry said in its latest intelligence update.

It mentioned a shovel known as MPL-50.

The tool was designed in 1869 and had changed little, the ministry said.

"The lethality of the standard-issue MPL-50 entrenching tool is particularly mythologised in Russia," the ministry said.

The continued use of the shovel "as a weapon highlights the brutal and low-tech fighting which has come to characterise much of the war", it said.

One of the reservists described being "neither physically nor psychologically" prepared for the action, the update added.

So when the Russians run out of ammo they are presumably expected to hit Ukrainians with shovels – if they even manage to get that close.

Even when Russia has heavier weapons, many of them date back to the Khrushchev era. Except for the promised but still unseen T-14 tanks, these armored vehicles were designed or built before The Beatles became famous.

Putin, once called a “savvy genius” by Donald Trump, is neither savvy nor ingenious. His “strategy” is to send massive waves of poorly armed and poorly trained troops into battle while bombing Ukrainian civilians with cruise missiles and Iranian drones.

Daniel was born in a planet with a similar atmosphere to Earth, albeit a largely more advance form of technology never having experience a dark ages period that cancelled progress. In order to explore and study other worlds, he joined an exploratory trip, despite all the knowledge of the world, his role in the grup could be simply describe as that of a handyman, as he was the one to repair and keep on check that everything went correctly, never have been one to major on other cultures history, sciences or similar in comparison to his partners. When approximating Earth’s orbit, a cosmic wave of energy proceeding ffrom the sun hit their ship causing the shp to evaporate, at least, in Daniel’s mind. The cosmic wave of energy altered his DNA and immediately transform him, guaranteeing that he survive the trip attached to a meteor that landed on earth as a small rock. He regathered there and found himself lost until he was found by Reed Richards after the similar readings to the wave that hit them.

He received the identity of Daniel Knight, and used his knowledge to earn a job as a high school science teacher while becoming the Human Wave as a hero.

Daniel’s alien nature grants him on average a higher immune system than earth individuals not being affected by any parasitic life form, virus or germ that could cause sickness to individuals, only being prone to allergies. He has a lighter mass which makes him faster than the average human being and his peak stregnth is equal to a superhuman strength, so at normal he can stop a car or receive bullet shots in human form with no more than a minimal piercing. The main forceo f his powers its at the DNA affected by the cosmic radiation that granted him the ability to manipulate and create water and ice, manipulate ambient temperature and create other forms of liquid. It is by this form that he survived as he transformed into vapor that crystallised with a rock ensuring his survival on an unconscious level. He can fly both shapeshifted and not as part of his body is naturally water that he can manipulate, he can telekinetically control other bodies and once wet he can move objects. The water that he transofrms to has higher ties to his own planet and even with the similarities with Earth’s it can has some toxins that affect the target on a neurological level that ensures him to cause status effects akin to confusion or paralysis. He can create water-based meteors, manipulate gravity and completely absorb light to emulate Sue’s powers of invisibility using the same energy type she uses albeit on a more fluid level.

He is openly homosexual and his species have the means for reproduction without the usage of the human body. With the time expent on earth, he has had enough time to learn how to revisit home, and found the plot of his world leaders to expand their culture as an empire and opposes it. 

He is the adoptive father of Garrett Tenzen, a student that he met six years ago ash e was beginning on school and found the severe bad state he was in, and offered himself to foster him then adopted him. Garrett is 16-18 years old nowadays.

I commute to class and there's usually this one guard stationed at the entrance to the train station I go through. We are homies. She barely even checks my bag at this point she just taps it with her stick and smiles at me. I think she has my class schedule memorized. One time she asked me for help giving directions to an old Chinese man, and then after I translated a little bit, she waved me away after realizing I was late for class. When I come home late from night classes, she's usually off her post and on her way home and we wave at each other when passing by on the platform

I've seen a lot of people writing Danny as a space ancient and Dan and Dani as ghosts with moon and sun cores, being sort of parts, versions of Danny and therefore weaker. Now, consider: Dan and Dani are both powerful ghosts with really cool cores and stuff but Danny is just some guy™

Dan, who came from an alternate timeline and is kind of from the future but also not, is Clockwork's apprentice and will eventually become an ancient of time. He probably only agreed to have some lessons with Clockwork to understand better what happened to him, but he enjoys his apprenticeship now.

Dani, with her love of travelling, loves seeing all the different places the world offers to her, and that includes space and different planets and maybe even parallel universes, and she accidentally ends up being an apprentice of the space ancient. For now she's probably a baby ancient of freedom or something like that, but she might become an ancient of space in the future.

We can also have something like Dan having a core of destruction or Dani being the Speed Force if you want it to be dcxdp, or any headcanon of yours about their cool powers.

And then there's Danny. And yeah, everyone knows that he's super powerful, but also he's just some guy.

It can go different routes. Does everyone know that Danny is just Danny? Or do they think that with siblings (well, technically a clone and an alternate version, but whatever) so powerful, he must be even stronger? Is Danny actually something terrifyingly eldritch and ancient and strong, almost a god, but he just doesn't know himself? Or is he just really some guy?

Now, because it's obvious that I have a dcxdp brainrot, have a regular "JL summons/meets a powerful ghost" but its Dan and Dani, and they keep mentioning their original/brother who won a fight against them at some point. The JL is very concerned about Dan and Dani's godlike powers, and they can't imagine what Danny is like. And then they meet him (in his human form), and it's just a young adult in casual clothes, very friendly and helpful, with no evident powers. Imagine the confusion. Imagine Dan and Dani, radiating power, in their eldritch ghost forms, admitting that fighting Danny for real is the dumbest thing to do and not even they would succeed... And then there's Danny is jeans and silly t-shirt, waving shyly.

I like to think Hiccup has whole 'conversations' with Toothless that are essentially incomprehensible to anyone but them (they consist of little human language–mostly draconic noises and body language as well as signals/cues specific to Hiccup and Toothless) the other riders are used to it at this point, but a lot of people are very much not and find it incredibly confusing.

Its started a lot of rumors of Hiccup being some 'dragon whisperer' that can actually speak to and command them and the other riders tease him about it relentlessly because he despises the rumors and always tries to correct them. Like every time they're brought up he'll say something along the lines of "No. If u actually pay attention to and connect with them, adapting to their way of communication isn't hard. I don't actually speak with them ur just not observant enough" and is constantly ignored
