This would be funnier if prominent Tankie men on this site, such as pissvortex, brendanicus/yuri-alexeygaybitch, and archeocommunologist/sober-communist, didn't have such long histories of thinking their leftist politics makes them immune from being misogynistic.
Far from confined to them, misogyny in Leftist movements has a long history. Indeed, much of Second Wave Feminism was driven by women who were frustrated with their sexism of male leaders of the male leftists leaders of 60's and 70's. For example?
Revolutionary movements, often preaching violence and imbued with machismo, lend themselves easily to chauvinism. Andreas Baader, who formed an eponymous West German terrorist organization in 1970 with feminist journalist Ulrike Meinhof, spoke of all women as “cunts.” Like Baader, who would be remembered solely as a criminal had he not adopted a revolutionary political agenda to justify his gang’s murder and bombing spree, the leaders of the Black Panther Party preached a more equitable world while subjugating the women in their midst. The party newspaper railed against abortion as “a victory for the oppressive ruling class who will use [abortion] to kill off Black and other oppressed people before they are born,” and the birth control pill as “another type of genocide that the power structure has poured into the Black community.” It once expelled a member for terminating a pregnancy, and according to historian Kate Coleman, the group “punished rank-and-file females for even minor ‘infractions’ by turning them out as prostitutes.” In his memoir Soul on Ice, Panther “Minister of Information” Eldridge Cleaver wrote of how he viewed rape as an “insurrectionary act.” After he “practiced” on black women, he moved onto white ones, as “it delighted me that I was defying and trampling upon the white man's law, upon his system of values, and that I was defiling his women.” Panther Party co-founder and “Minister of Defense” Huey Newton talked a good game when it came to female equality, publishing a letter in the party newspaper reproving sexism (and homophobia) and declaring “we recognize the women’s right to be free.” Yet Newton authorized the beating of the woman who managed the Panther Liberation School after she reprimanded a male colleague. Oh, and he murdered a 17-year-old prostitute because she referred to him as “baby.” ... As long as there has been misogyny on the left, women feminists have fought it. In 1970 -- the same year Andreas Baader founded his revolutionary cell and Leonard Bernstein was introducing Upper East Side society matrons to the Black Panthers – the feminist writer Robin Morgan wrote a groundbreaking essay entitled, “Goodbye to All That.” Taking on “the good guys who think they know what ‘Women’s Lib,’ as they so chummily call it, is all about – and who then proceed to degrade and destroy women by almost everything they say and do,” Morgan wrote that, “it hurts to understand that at Woodstock or Altamont a woman could be declared uptight or a poor sport if she didn’t want to be raped.” She attacked the Weathermen, the American analogue to Baader-Meinhof, “with the Stanley Kowalski image and theory of free sexuality but practice of sex on demand for males,” and the patriarchal attitudes prevalent among New Left organizations more broadly, waving “goodbye to the dream that being in the leadership collective will get you anything but gonorrhea.” 47 years later, her critique could be applied to Harvey Weinstein, who earnestly seemed to believe, at least in his initial apology, that a series of random liberal bromides condemning Donald Trump and the NRA immunized him from the charge of sexism.

Don Leisure with Amanda Whiting - Beyond The Midnight Sun - beats + harp
To bring you up to speed, Cardiff DJ and beat-maker Don Leisure has been twice nominated for the Welsh Music Prize, with the afore-mentioned album 'Shaboo Strikes Back', and a previous project, 'Steel Zakusi'. As well as being 50% of Darkhouse Family with Earl Jeffers, he's released music under various monikers on labels such as Metalheadz, International Anthem, Fat City, Earnest Endeavours, Group BraCil and on Rough Trade with another regular collaborator, Gruff Rhys. Other collabs have included Charlotte Church, Om'Mas Keith, DJ Spinna and First Word label-mate Tyler Daley (Children of Zeus). His DJ portfolio includes sets for BBC 6 Music, NTS, Rinse FM, Solid Steel, Boxout FM (India), The Jazz Cafe, Fabric and Boiler Room, while previous support has come from Lauren Laverne, Tom Ravenscroft, Huw Stephens, Lefto, Rob Da Bank, Huey Morgan, Jon1st, Om Unit, Kid Fonque, Mr Thing and many more. His album 'Shaboo' was named "the best album of its kind since J Dilla's 'Donuts'" by Piccadilly Records. Joining him throughout this project, we have the pleasure of welcoming the phenomenal talents of highly-acclaimed harpist Amanda Whiting to the First Word label. A virtuoso in her field, this classically trained musician quickly established herself as an essential player in the UK jazz scene, carving her unique sound following the paths forged by Ashby and Coltrane. The talents of Deborah Jordan are also featured on a couple of the album's tracks. Deborah is a stalwart in the UK soul and jazz scene in her own right, working over the years with artists like 4Hero, Bugz In The Attic, Ty, Jneiro Jarel, K15, Robert Mitchell and Kaidi Tatham (someone who's collaborated with all the players on this release at some point). 'Beyond The Midnight Sun' is a 7-track affair comprised of delectable spiritual jazz fused with hip hop beats, psychedelic electronics and a touch of soul.

London-based multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Oscar “Sholto” Robertson grew up with a deep and abiding love of jazz, soul, krautrock and 60s and 70s soundtracks. Initially known as being one-half of indie outfit Sunglasses for Jaws, Robertson honed his production skills under the guidance and tutelage of Allah-Las‘ Nick Waterhouse and Inflo. Four years ago, Robertson stepped out into the spotlight as a solo artist with his latest project SHOLTO, which sees him crafting a unique take on instrumental, psychedelic soul. Last year was a big year for the rising London-based multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer: He signed to Deep Matter imprint Root Records, who released his SHOTOL debut, The Changing Tides of Dreams EP. The rising British artist’s work has received airplay from Jazz FM‘s Tony Minvielle and BBC Radio 6‘s Huey Morgan, Deb Grant and Gilles Peterson. Building upon a rapidly growing national profile, Robertson’s latest track “Ligurian Storm” continues a run of gorgeous and mischievously anachronistic material that seemingly channels The Ironsides, Mildlife, Adrian Younge/The Midnight Hour, David Axelrod and Quincy Jones — but with a cinematic quality. Conceived on a stormy train ride from Milan to Liguria, the compositions blend of swelling and building harp, strings, vibraphone and synths evoke the build up on a growing storm swallowing and overwhelming a beautiful landscape.

....Oh he actually feel a tinge of red.
IS THAT EMBRASSMENT HUEY?
It's the fact he can read people pretty damn well and Arty was sincere about her praise that cause him to blush. He clear his throat as he try to regain compusure.
Oh yeah if anything happen to her he burning down this city.
"....Don't ever let people some half baked realist tell you your wrong okay? One idealist who refuse to give up to nihilism worth a thousand lousy realist. Anyone can give up on their hope and ideals and become a realist. Take a genuine special someone to still go for their ideals knowing the world sucks."
Morgan huh? So many details and stories about her. The legendary witch who rival merlin with three aspect. So many different view of the queen. The dutiful daughter who was slighted, the mad queen who can't accept the throne wasn't hers.
So many version and Huey wisely decide to shut up. He listen and nod along. Stuff like argument between two siblings are a lot more complicated then what stranger write in the books. He not gonna give his two cent or pretend he knows ideas and concept only the pendragons would know.
"It's never to late. The worst kind of regret is not saying the things you have in your heart. Life to long in this city to hold onto old grudges. It's getting late Arty and...thanks for showing me mercy. I see you around later."
Huey gave her a small bow. It is getting late and well....he have work to do. Beside if he take to much of her time people gonna look for her.
Can't have them finding their king with someone Like him. Let's head home now.
By the way.....he never greeted his room mates did he? The first thing he did when he enter his room was lock the door and laze around like a sloth.
He wonder who his room mates are?
A meaning, one tethered to what it was to be human. With a contemplative nod, Lily reflected on the gap between King Arthur and humanity — she might have ceased to be entirely human, but a day would come where, in her final breaths, she would be once more. That a future — and a past in the world — far away from Spirale, and so its shadow waited outside. Though still searching and growing, there was boundless potential for her to live a temporary separate path just as much as anyone else.
Colour tinged her cheeks growing brighter through his speech — he really was the type who would never bend and break, the kind of person she aspired to be, and from whom she could learn. "I bet you've had an incredible so far and taken hold of the wheel firmly, chartering your own path with whatever wiggle room you can get if it's not possible to entirely overturn fate. you know all about me, but I'd love to hear your story whenever you'd like to tell it. Even if I'm too young to hear it between drinks".
His was a simple yet ambitious aspiration — not simply to carve his name into history for the sake of fame, but to leave evidence he lived, he existed as more than one of countless drops in the ocean. She couldn't help but admire that determination.
"Luckily we don't have to earn a living to survive here, so I'd never charge you — besides I don't know if they're good enough to sell and it's a hobby. Though there are modern day events such as village fetes where cake sales can use be used to raise money for charity, so that's a idea!"
Her expression softened, glowing from excitement at the possibility to fondness in reflection. "Yes, you could say that. Although we never saw eye-to-eye, Morgan was never my enemy. Not truly. Maybe you could call our opposition sibling rivalry, but what she sought was the best for Britain, taking a different approach than I. Big Brother Kay was always supportive too, although he had his reservations about things.
It would typically be Merlin who got chewed out for sleep training or when we'd cause some trouble and Kay was the one to clean up afterwards". She lived a simple time, both in terms of personally and in the tapestry of the world's advances. "It does sadden me that our family's internal strife tore down Camelot, and how many others suffer pain from their blood. We're lucky that , as Servants, we have a chance to repair those bridges, if she's willing to accept my apology".
#caliburn#thread end on huey part.#Thank you once again#Huey find her precious and will die for her.#lol he spend this whole time not bothering to check his phone
