You know that a BL drama is Something Else or just Fucking Good (or both) when it throws in a bold sex scene that would usually set the fandom on fire for weeks, but after which the fandom reacts:

"Oh, Jin and Phee had sex? coolcoolcool... but how does that relate to their Schrödinger almost-boyfriend Non?" 🤔*puts a board on the wall with a complicated network of interconnections between the characters*. And the days after an episode with literal sex scenes, instead of squealing and creating a million gifs, fandom spends this time on meticulous analysis and creating meta about it and The Horrors 🙂 Not to mention, that after the episode with such a high heat scene, the fandom generally reacted like, coolcoolcool.... but have you seen my new blorbo?? 😤😍 Meanwhile the new blorbo: a pathetic dude who isn't even the prettiest of the cast or even in a BL relationship and is actually technically poisoning the BL element of the BL series lmao

It was similar with Love For Love's Sake. We knew it was a Very Unique series because it created a beautiful and romantic relationship and the fandom was like: ohhhh, how beautiful and romantic 🥺🥺🥺 BUT,

Heey i have question that has been on my mind for some time now, this question is more what I heard not really my own opinion. But anyways is lancelot x tristan/ban x meliodas even good ship? I seen some many talk about how theos two ships are baf because for Lancelot and Tristan they have no real relationship in canon or what so ever. Coming to ban x meliodas they more like best friends. Is that true?🤔 I very cousfed if it rignt to ship or not.

hello!! okay im gonna ramble a bit cuz i love yapping about this kinda stuff and dont wanna clog up any feeds, so ill add a 'read further' here :3

i feel like its not very surprising that i do think both ships are good (especially melban). i think that for both of them- yes, they can definitely be read as just being friendships and nothing more than that, but i guess the charm of shipping and headcanons is that you can add in your own interpretations and additions which you think feel right :3

a lot of the interactions between mel and ban, for example, i read as being pretty homoerotic/gay. thats mostly because, as a gay/queer guy myself, i find myself relating a lot to the stuff they do together when comparing it to me and my bf, and also because they are my favourite characters and headcanoning them as being the same sexuality (and gender) that i am is like a little golden sticker saying "fav character" (godbless projection onto your blorbos).

in general, i think its pretty common consensus, at least in my circles, that ships dont have to stick 100% to what the canon says/shows, and you can always add in your own ideas or headcanons to create a relationship either between your favourite characters, or one which you think would be interesting to see, or just one which you think would provide a fun/interesting addition to the story. and in my case, its all of those - i really just adore the dynamic meliodas and ban have, and in addition to my gay reading of a lot of their interactions with one another, it just feels right and fun to ship them (this applies to lancetris as well, but to a slightly lesser extent/not exactly the same)

so yeah, thats my stance on it!! i really like lancetris and adore melban, and i think (considering how much reconning has happened on the fandom's part towards nakaba's,,,, decisions,,,,) it doesnt do harm to read certain friendships as having romantic or sexual under- or overtones

i also feel like i should mention that i only really ship lancetris and melban in separate circumstances, if that makes sense - like, i ship melban a lot harder than lancetris, so whenever i do make any ship art of them (lancetris), i think of meliodas' and ban's relationship like more of a qpr than a fully romantic one, just cuz i feel like it makes it better??? more likely??? less weird?? idk if im making much sense here, but yeah, so thats sm (i guess i also just wanted to state that to clear anything up, cuz i do know how having ship art of both lancetris and melban could come off as kinda weird to some, but idk, maybe im overthinking it (￣▽￣)")

For your last anon, I have 2 things to say:

1. I think the lack of stress on the early days can be inferred to say something about SQQ, something about how SQQ is doesn’t find these moments as important because he’s planning/worrying/etc over the post-IAC events. Though I see it more as he saw those days as just an everyday thing, doting on LBH. He’s really sweet bc that’s his blorbo!! Ofc being nice to him is so easy even outside of the golden thighs part!! And!!! LBH, an easily impressionable teen is going to care a lot more about this when he’s not used to getting this kind of treatment- not just form SQQ- but from the peak. I mean even with NingNing, she’s seen to make the bullying worse- not on purpose though I still love her <3- so even the “kind” person he knows, kindness backfires.

2. I do think the “first person to show kindness” thing is so not true bc literally the first scene we see with ningning and lbh he’s snarky! And that may be after meeting the qi deviated SQQ but iirc it was immediately after so there’s no real interference. And the rest of the scene played out without SQQ doubting the plot events. Also OG!LBH had a harem of any women just because he wanted to prove himself, it’s a power fantasy not a romance. Imo if it was the “first person to shwo kindness” argument it kinda falls flat since ogLBH didn’t care about his wives the way a loving person would. He literally just married any woman to prove his power lol. (Though some could argue that’s because he reached a point of no return, but this isn’t my post to rant lol)

I believe that og!LBH may at some point thought to himself that he loved them all, but in the way you love shiny stuff that you collect and put on a shelf and sometimes play with? There is indeed power in keeping so many women and taking so many women from their houses, tribes, even husbands or sweethearts. I believe this is not bc LBH forces them to, but we all know that his presence attracts women according to the laws of the universe Airplane created. I believe these power fantasies are sometimes reflections of men that have been taught that having many women surrounding you and wanting you (to be a protector or just for your looks or body or whatever) makes you powerful and superior, this is also reflected on LBH having the heavenly sky pillar like SQQ calls it…bc we have been taught that erm…bigger makes you more proud or stuff like this.

I think I’m deviating to talking about toxic masculinity ksjdkskdjd but anyways! The point in sv is precisely that this absolute character of a man in SQQ’s eyes suddenly (not really suddenly though) turns around and becomes a person with wants and needs and what he wants is actually his old teacher. SQQ does not take this well lmao

But its also true that SQQ treats LBH’s disciple days like a calm period…i mean who wouldn’t! Imagine that you have transmigrated into the character with probably the worst death at the hands of your fav chara…i’d cry XD

I believe that dissociating a bit was normal in this scenario, but SQQ took it to the extreme, he thought that canon was written in stone, without taking into account that his presence and actions could make ripple changes to everyone including the protagonist, he thought his influence extended just to make his death less graphic, and maybe make the protagonist treat people a bit better, in short, he was too humble at first and too oblivious at the end (i mean pre IAC)

He also is trying to play his obsession with a character (first) and with his disciple (later) as something that is completely normal and cool. Cool as a cucumber. Jokes on you SY.

At least we recognize how into a character we are you silly man. Though i also understand him bc LBH post abyss is scary and powerful af even if inside he is still a crybaby wife that pines hard lmao

I got into modding because/thanks to Mitch 🤠 and the first thing I did was to .app swap him into all of the romance scenes 😩🤏 My BIG MODDER GOAL back then was to have Him and Valentin in the panzer scene, meaning I needed to find a way to:

Swap Valentin into Panam's place

Swap Mitch into V/Player's place

Unlock the camera / have a true free-roam experience

and also remove all of the HUD and green filter

Camera unlocks, Player Replacer, FixSwaps, Bi River trick, Blur Remover, Facial expressions for V, Swap to Everyone... my peak as a modder still to this day ngl

I achieved all I ever wanted, did the mods I needed to be able to smooch Mitch and have my canon panzer scene 🧡 (cannot showcase it here on Tumblr for hornyjail reason)

The "bi river" trick was involving CyberCat, an old save editor software that allowed you to swap V presets! You had to launch the romance scene with River as a fem V, then save at the start of it using the "Save Anytime" mod, edit your save file by swapping in your Male V preset, and Voila~ you had a Masc V in the River scene :D

▶ August 2021

━ "Custom poses Fever"

...and the first true love kisses!

Searching and modding your first poses swaps, then spawning the blorbos in game, timing the expressions and animation correctly and... having them "kiss for real" for the first time 🥺😩 ouugghh IT HITS! It hits so good!

From there, the rest of 2021 was focused on playing around with custom poses and exploring my own canon; giving new canon-compliant appearances to Mitch and Valentin, doing VP comics... also exploring some AUs and doing special occasion outfits, like Halloween!

▶ 2022

━ "I can create my own story"

I focused a lot on my own canon in 2022, via comics and photoset exploring what happens to both Mitch and Valentin's respective past and shared future together

Modding was also a big part of the year! There wasn't any big breakthrough other than the scenerid extract for custom poses, which allowed me to finally use the amazing tender animations from the Judy scene in my boys tent 🤭

There will always be new exciting way of exploring and creating content for my babes- the knowledge of custom made poses allowing us for even more angst, tenderness, passion!

I’m not sure as I have done both! I do love my current long fic right now but i love writing short ones as well. I think the long fic is fun but it is a lot of work and a little overwhelming. Single chapters are nice tho and I kinda wish i did it more. Just to get the idea out there.

I can only work on one long fic at a time I think….but I may change that soon. I dunno haha

It’s a hard tie between Teru and Shigeo. But because Teru is more top of mind right now I’ll go with him.

MY fav HC for Teru is….many. So here are a few fun ones:

* he never keeps the same hair forever. But my favorite hairstyle of his, is the side shave. He keeps that for most of his 20s

* Teru loves to cook. He learned how in his late teens after getting way too sick too often when he was a kid living in his own. I think Reigen, Shigeo, Ritsu and Serizawa help him learn how to cook. Once he figures it out teru is all in

* Physical touch is so important for Teru. Him and Shigeo have a lot of past traumas about touch. They work together a lot to find a healthy balance with touch. I think this is platonic or romantic. Teru likely went months without a loving physical touch.

* Teru needs to have control. If he doesn’t he falls apart. There are many times in his life where he won’t ask for help because he needs to be in control. this does not end well.

* Teru has trust issues that he has to spend most of his life working on. He trusts a select few people but would never trust them to take care of him. Teru can take care of himself (he says to himself).

* Teru loves to knit, to create things, to doodle. He likes doing things with his hands.

The user can rapidly grow anything, from her own capabilities, to even growing plants, fungi, combining the two, and making fungi/plant summons with various effects

Passives

Warmer

Mosary's body temperature is a lot warmer and more resistant to heat than the average person, though the inside of her body is more resistant than the surface. This isn’t a drastic increase, but it’s enough to save her a few seconds of reaching over for covers on a cold night.

Sweet Toxin:

Due to the nature of how Mosary's epithet effects her body, she's immune to most forms of poison. In fact, her body will translate any poison that goes into her body into passive healing and painkillers. This combination slowly heals her and makes her take slightly less damage.

MOVESET

A huff and puff of Bark and Burning Frostbite

The user grows/summons tree bark on the area their hands make contact with (this can include their body). Half of the bark is inhibited by a fungus called “Exidiopsis Effusa”, and the other half by a Puffball Mushroom. The user can grow bark that only inhibits one fungus, but the main feature of the bark is the fungi living in it.

The bark can emit Hair Ice (Sort of) and Puff spores (sort of again)

By creating spores of the Icy hair-like strands emerge from the growing bark that the user can control telekinetically. She can control the temperature of the frost and strengthen it so much that they'll leave burn marks. From being able to control how sharp the strands are (from soft as a pillow to as sharp as blades), to how flexible and malleable they are along with how many strands come out, this is an extremely powerful move Offensive wise that also offers a great amount of utility.

As for the Puff spores, they have a special function — she can ignite the puffball spores for explosions. They are relatively weak explosions, but due to the amount of spores the bark can spit out, the user can spam small explosions, or even combine most of the spores for one large explosion.

These moves are relatively simple, but the user can get extremely creative with its applications

She can:

Use it to slash at opponents for large damage

Can tie the hair ice around herself for mobility

Can use the bark on both of her legs to anchor herself or a target

Can harden and condense the strands of hair ice to make a small durable structure to either use offensively or defensively

Grow the Puffball bark on her shoes and ignite it at any point while she's going in any direction for a dash

Grow the Puffball Bark on her hands and feet to use as a way to amp up her physical attacks

Place the puffball spores on the hair ice for a long range explosion attack

Grow the puffball bark on her hands and concentrate the spore release for a bullet like explosion decent in strength

Grow the Hair-ice bark on her hands and have the ice form and sharpen around them to act as bladed brace knuckles.

Etc.

While the move itself is inherently simple, the user is clever enough to see the sheer utility options of the move.

Legion of Cordyceps

The user manifests a crown shaped fungi on. The crowd itself has 3 long fungi sprouting on top of the crown, acting as its spikes: one on the left, one on the right, and one in the center. Two of these spikes have green gems, with the center spike having a hot-pink gem

The summon has a name/title, which is “Princess Legion”.

The crown itself slowly steadily generates pink spores that the user can telekinetically control for their use. When these spores get onto a summoned creature or construct, it'll take control of that summon and absorb it into the crowned selection. Assuming the user is in a situation where they can fill all the gems, the left spike is filled first, then the right spike, with the center spike being the last one. Each gem can only hold 1 summon, and one of each type. Once a summon is absorbed, the user has to pick a different one to progress through the next gem.

At will, the user can throw the summon off her head, and transform her into one of four states depending on how many gems have summons. When summoned, each absorbed summon/epithet construct incorporated into Prince Cordycep is stronger depending on what form she transforms into

Ex: The summon benefits is non existent in form 1, weak in form 2, average in strength in form 3, and at its strongest in form 4

Form 1: Lonely wannabe (0 summons absorbed)

Stamina – ⭐️; Proficiency – ⭐️⭐️; Creativity – ⭐️

The first, and weakest form, is what happens if the user transforms it with no summons absorbed. A small 4ft tall humanoid figure with multiple tiny strands of pink Cordyceps growing out. Princess Legion possess tiny, but sharp claws to use. The warrior is fast and nimble, allowing them to get off slashes quickly, but it’s fairly weak and is about as dangerous as a child with dull box cutters: a little dangerous, but anyone decently competent can deal with this with one good kick no problem.

Because of this being Princess Legion's weakest form, Mosary uses almost no stamina summoning her. They can summon multiple Princess Legion's, so this is good for overwhelming opponents with a small army of weak summons.

Mosary can summon 8 of these to fight in her defense

Form 2: Grounded Company (1 summon absorbed)

Stamina: ⭐️⭐️; Proficiency: ⭐️⭐️⭐️; Creativity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Princess Legion is 5'2 feet tall in this form and has longer and sharper claws in this form. Depending on what summon was absorbed, she'll have an extra aspect about herself or even effect the design and appearance of the summon, but the height and the number of gems attached to it never changes.

Ex: If one of Sylvies's sheep are absorbed into legion before she's summoned, she might have her claws coated with sleep dust

She's noticeably tougher than her form 1 counterpart, but still weak. Someone competent may have more trouble, but competent people should still be able to deal with these.

Mosary can summon four of these

Form 3: Hovering Crowd (2 summons/Epitheg constructs absorbed)

Stamina: ⭐️⭐️; Proficiency: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️; Creativity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This form of Princess Legion, while only slightly tougher in durability, makes up for it with strength and versatility. This form comes in a pair with two summons. Their wooden hands are practically razor-sharp claws, with them both being 6ft tall and appearing more beast like. Even someone extremely skilled will have trouble dealing with this.

This form has two gems applied to both summons, and depending on what summon was absorbed before this form us summoned, Princess Legion will have different features

If Mosary absorbs One of Indus' barriers and Sylvie's sheep, both summons may have a coat of Sleep dust, and have their body made out of barriers, making them more durable

The user can only summon 2 of these.

Form 4: True Legion (3 epithet summons/constructs absorbed)

Stamina ⭐️⭐️⭐️; Proficiency: 💫💫⭐️⭐️⭐️; Creativity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Princess Legion's true form. 8ft tall, and appears mostly as a fog, yet solid. This appears as one summon, but in nature, Princess Cordyceps is the combined forced of 3 summons and itself into 1 body. This summom is extremely strong, and acts as the user’s final gambit. Summoning this will leave Mosary with closeto zero stamina. This summon functions like the others kicked to 11.

Ex: If Mosary used Princess Cordycep to absorb one of Sylvies's sheep, a barrier from Indus, and a tower construct from Percy, she may have a massive coat of Sleep dust, be capable of hardening her body to endure even the strongest of attacks, and shoot lighting from it's heart

Devil's Lollipop

This summon takes the form of a Devil Cigar Fungus, although it has a large devil-like grin in the center. It's about as small as a flower and doesn't appear to be much, but appearances can be misleading.

This summon can release, minic, and manipulate any kind of sound that it hears. Multiple of these can be summoned, and each one has a small simple on it that's unique for each person it's attached to, making it easy to tell apart which summon is attached to which person. It can also manipulate people into hysteria and lost of control over their actions by laughing with its true voice

The user can apply this sound-based manipulation in an various amount of ways that can help the user in various of situations:

Mosary can tie the flower vines of the summon around their neck with the front of the summon facing the same direction of herself (like a flower bowtie). This would change her voice into anything of her whim

Mosary can have the Flower shoot out pressurized and concentrated sound waves, effectively acting as a powerful invisible ranged attack that can pack a punch if used correctly, though the beam of sound is unfocused. This would hurt her if she doesn't attach this to an instrument (she chooses a clarinet more often than not)

By attaching a Devil Lollipop to someone's body, she can create hyper-focused sounds that only the target can hear. They, in turn , can send hyper-focused messages to Mosary that only she can hear. This allows for effective communication that the opponent cannot hear. This can also be useful against targets to trick them into hearing sounds that aren't there

Despite all the various sounds the summon can make, it does actually have a voice of its own. By laughing with its original voice, it can make those who hear it stir crazy, give them immense hysteria, and create a strong urge inside their subconscious to dance and sing

A small mushroom-Flower fusion grows on Mosary's head, appearing to look like a Death Cap fungus with small sun symbols all over it, and a sunflower sprouting from the top of the fungus. Upon Sunspot (the fungus-Plant) glowing a bright light mimicking that of the sun, Mosary will gain a large growth in strength & speed, with her getting a tremendous boost in all five of her senses. She could see through walls, hear whispers as if it was shouting, and so on. This is a relatively simple move but gives Mosary an array of options.

A benefit of this summon is that if this is used in the day, there's no stamina cost for using it since the flower part of the fungi-plant amalgamation will use the sunlight as an energy source. This only applies to the day, so Mosary will have to be careful about reserving her stamina when trying to use this during the night

Ghostly Sights

Mosary summons what appears to be a Ghost Fungus glowing purple. She can manipulate, absorb, and control the light in the fungus, allowing her to create visual light illusions. They aren’t physical, but they’re made purely out of light, so anyone who decides to try and touch the light will quickly find out that it’s merely an illusion. This move is completely useless as a physical attack, but it's great for throwing your opponent off in an infinite array of situations.

Fun Facts

She has a habit of staring at insects, and if not interrupted, will sit and stare at them until she passes out from need of sleep (This has happened more times then she'd like to admit)

Her “Bounty” was just something she doodled. She's just good enough at art to make it look real (she also immediately crossed out the “dead” part of “dead or alive” since she didn't want someone trying to kill her)

Speaking of, whenever she starts to get overwhelmed (whether that be mentally, physically, or primarily by overusing her epithet), her epithet will start to overheat her body. She'll experience symptoms like nausea, dizziness, weakness, rapid breathing, etc.

Because of her passive “Sweet Toxins”, she didn't know what poison even was for a good portion of her life until her parents rushed her to an ER after getting stung by a scorpion (All she told the Doctor was that she felt like she just woke up)

With her current trajectory, she'll reach orbit Proficiency in high school between the middle of her Freshman year, and the end of her sophomore year. (When she’s 15-16 years old). By the time she graduates high school, she'll have all of her stats in orbit

While she may appear stotic at first glance to others, She has genuine anger problems and also has trouble controlling her reactions to her own emotions. Luckily, she does try visit Sylvie for weekly therapy appointments (Emphasis on try due to her being a 12 year old with barely any money

While Mosary is dumb in terms of academic and book smarts, she’s practically a genius in when it comes to improvisation. She can make simple epithet moves that don’t require much creativity, but gives her immense utility options

She chews Jolly ranchers & Jaw breakers

Miscellaneous:

No promises, but I'm extremely satisfied with this move-set. I didn't want to make her epithet Fungus/Mushroom because that didn't feel too creative, and going “She Mushroom Girl, her epithet is Mushroom/Fungus” felt like a lazy route to go, and Efflorescence didn't feel like it fit her alias enough.

I went with “Burgeon” since it means “Growing Rapidly”, giving me a lot of options while still fitting her Fungus vibe. Plus, it fits more organically

I know it’s a massive stretch to get “Sharp flexible ice blades with exploding spore”, “A Princess Cordycep capitalizing on absorbing summons”, and so on out of “Burgeon”, but I thought it was a fun direction to go with, so I just went with it, and I honestly had a lot of fun thinking through this moveset. I'm mainly going with a nature aesthetic.

Like I said, might change her first name, just tryna think of a better fit

I gave her “Ghostly Sights” so that she would be forced to get creative with a move that does no damage. It's a stretch, but so is literally everything else here, so I don't mind much

She's meant to be leaning much more towards goofy and stupid(ish) than anything else.

Favorite Thai QL: Bad Buddy was my first and probably till date my fav. What a way to start. Very few BLs overall have lived up to the unreal standard that this show set, and no matter what all has happened IRL since the airing of the show, this show has a place in my heart that nothing is going to ever replace. It's the show that revived my love and passion for TV shows after years. This show (ep 5 4/4 👀) changed my brain chemistry, without exaggeration. P'Aof i'm chewing on your furniture until you pay for my therapy. [Other favs are MLC, ATOTS, UWMA, Between Us, MSP]

Favorite Pairing: I guess i'll talk about actor pairings but onscreen, not how they are offscreen. EarthMix is absolutely one of my favs, they bring a maturity, natural-ness, and intensity to their acting that I've rarely found in other GMMTV pairings. I'm also gonna mention FourthGem because they're the GMM young blood and I think they've got an incredible amount of potential. We've already seen their range in MLC and MSP, and I think they're going to be huge. I have a huge soft spot for BounPrem (but I may be biased lol), and this may be a lukewarm take but I really enjoyed BillySeng, I thought they had some incredible onscreen chemistry.

Most underrated actor: Oh jeez where do I start. Gotta mention Fourth - he's not really underrated but he's just starting out, but I can already see he's got the chops and with the right training and right directors he's absolutely Going Placed. Shout out to Fluke Natouch, that boy does emotional scenes like no one else. Special shoutout to Tonnam - he's supposed to be starring in his first BL as a main character this year, idk if that's still on schedule or not, but every character he's ever played so far has been a hit in my book. His comedic timing is unparalleled for me, it never fails to hit.

Favorite Character: How do I choose!! Pat Napat is so dear to me??? As is Ae from LBC???? Tutor from Why R U???? Team from Between Us?? I've got so many different little blorbos it's impossible to choose. They're all pocket sized to me. Making me choose is a crime.

Favorite Side Character: Idk why but the first one that comes to mind is View from Between Us. He's absolutely Little Bro, but he's also so sweet and genuine and full of love??? He's annoying bc all little brothers are genetically coded to be annoying but he's impossible not to love. His smile is healing. You can't take him away from me.

Favorite scene in a QL: Bad Buddy Ep 5 4/4. This was the scene that actually broke me. The lead up to the scene, the subtle but deliberate choices that both the characters made. Pat gritting himself to go talk to Pran bc if there's one thing he doesn't do it's avoid people and situations. Pran resigning himself to the conversation bc he can't avoid it any longer. Pat finally saying exactly how he's been feeling less than a business day after he had the realisation himself, bc the moment he feels something and decides it he has to act on it. The music swelling in the background. Pran realising that he's been projecting his fears onto Pat this entire time, that Pat has always feel differently about him too. Pran asking the question to break it all, wording in one way where he was expecting one kind of answer, not expecting that it would be interpreted in an entirely different way and would rock the foundation of their already teetering relationship. Pran asking if they want to be friends, because the alternative would be to be enemies. Pat hearing 'do you want to be only friends', and realising that that would never be enough for the both of them. Pat seeing that Pran is scared, and realising that he has to have courage enough for the both of them. Pat taking the deepest and shakiest breath of his life, swallowing down his fear and trepidation, voice trembling saying 'no'. This is the scariest thing that Pat has ever had to do, but how he'd rather do this than lose Pran again. Them both taking a step towards each other, because this is a decision not of one but of equals, mutual as they have always been. Pat treating this like his first kiss, like a relief of finally knowing the answer to a question that has long plagued him, like the start of something, going into it with utter joy and coming out of it with complete bliss, because the world finally makes sense. Pran treating this like his last kiss, like the end of everything they had ever been or ever could be, like he was going to milk this for everything it was worth because he was never going to get a chance to do this ever again, going into it with fear and desperation, and coming out of it with heartache and resignation, because they had lost everything they had and couldn't get it back. Pat crying tears of joy because he finally found what he was looking for, and Pran crying tears of pain because he got to experience for the first and last time what he would never be allowed to have but had longed for all of his life. Yeah I'm so normal about this show.

Favorite line in a QL: I mean. I literally said it all above, but yeah. 'If we're not enemies, could we be friends?' 'Do you want to be friends?' 'No.'

Most Anticipated QL (& why): I don't honestly know?? But I do wanna see the Thai remake of Cherry Magic, I'm interested in seeing how they're gonna treat it differently from the source show, esp since Thai shows have a tendency to bit more high heat and the original show was all about the tenderness of falling for someone because of their goodness.

Healthiest relationship in a QL: oooh i gotta go for TinnGun from MSP, they're just so lovable. Yes it's a highschool relationship but it was presented so sweetly without coming across as childish, and my boy Tinn is the ultimate green flag. Also even tho I'm not personally a SaifahZon fan (they're not my cup of tea) I think they're incredibly healthy.

Most toxic relationship in a QL: TharnType (i'm mostly looking at you Tharn), most of the KP pairings (the T in Theerapanyakuls stands for needs Therapy), early RainPhayu (i'm sorry but pigtail-pulling on the playground to show you like someone is very kindergarten behavior Phayu), LianKuea (go ahead girlbosses who gaslight and gatekeep).

Guilty pleasure series: I honestly don't know if anything I like counts as a guilty pleasure. Maybe SCOY?? Because I know there's a lot of people who don't like it and find it cringe but I think they're all kind of missing the point. I could write a mini-essay about this show too but i'll save that for another day.

Most underrated series: Ingredients (Baby Jeff!!), My Only 12% (It absolutely deserved more love and hype).

Ramón loves tinkering and upgrading Fit's mechanical hand

Ramón still has the nautilus shell and the slime ball Fit gave him on the first day

Fit is the only [player] human on the Quesadilla, it's just really funny to me

he was a "radio broadcaster" on 2b, like just rambling into the radio to keep his sanity and keep records on things, therefore his title of self-proclaimed historian. this is also how Tazercraft discovered him :3c

he simply CANNOT stand still, especially when stressed or brainstorming, he also talks with his hands

he's partially blind and deaf in one eye and ear, due to an end crystal incident

Fit likes to teleport first or last to ensure everyone's safety

he is also often babysit Chats; shapeshifting hiveminds that follow players around

more of a theory, but Fit's contractors are people responsible for NOCOM

Fit is a reality bender, a term used for people using hacks, usually an item that is capable of distorting reality. perception of time and space of benders gets warped, only becoming worse the longer/more they use hacks

okay so worldbuilding and i have a hc that there are few stages of godhood in the qsmp universe, but important here are only Astral Beings, entities that ascended beyond godhood, capable of creating and controlling realms; like Hausemaster who Fit one met, and was promptly told to "fuck off"

also in the light of recent events, the night Ramón disappeared, Fit had a breakdown, cried for the first time in years, and have not slept for like 2 days doing manual labour and gaslighting himself :D

Don't be ridiculous, it's a joy to have long asks where I have a lot to say back, and boy, do I have a LOT to say. Get ready. I'm gonna explain my thoughts on some of my favs from here :D (Even though they're all fantastic)

For the only human one, I haven't really sorted out what I think all the other players are species-wise, but it's fun to have lots of non-humans to explore cool powers and stuff. Fit has always been a human to me personally. Very cool.

I've seen you talk about the radio one before, and I'm honestly tempted to yoink it for myself. It's such a fun way to tie in his 2b history videos to the server itself, and I get this really cool image of him playing through an old radio in the middle of a scorched wasteland Fallout-style. I imagine it was of vital importance in keeping his sanity, especially while he was grappling with the effects of using hacked clients. Imagine how cool it would be for tazercraft to finally meet him in person too lol.

For the teleport one, yeah, Fit definitely likes taking the lead, looking out for people, keeping them safe however he can. His friends and family are his world, they're who he lives for, and he's making sure no one gets left behind. And if he can have any semblance of control over their safety, he's gonna take it for sure. He's ALL about control. He's had so little of it for so long.

For the magic one, I have similar ideas on how magic works. I will make another post talking about it in more detail, but tldr; there's a lot of godly magic permeating 2b2t, it's what gives it a lot of it's weirdness. People can choose to focus and wield it (Hack clients) but at a great cost. The gods don't want mortals using magic, and so they turn their backs on them. These people often devolve, and lose any and all morality. Only few have managed to master it, one being Fit.

I have a lot of thoughts surrounding worldbuilding and the nature of Hausemaster + surrounding "gods" but i'm gonna leave those for a big post cause this answer is already too long.

Keyboard warriors. The morality police clutching their pearls. You know who I’m referring to; we always have them in every fandom. The ones who police who/ what you like and are obnoxiously loud about it and about how the characters or ships you find interesting are problematic and, lookie here, my [insert character they’d fixated on] never did anything wrong compared to your rancid skrunkly blorbo and I wish more fans liked my favorite character than [insert popularly liked character]. On the converse of that, I’m on two fences when it comes to Homelander stans. Thankfully most people are rational and like him because he’s an interesting villain (and, let’s be real, it’s powered by a side of fan thirst for the actor who plays him; it’s the typical parasocial relationship that fans develop with the celebs who play our favs/ or it’s just plain interest in the fictional character itself or the fun thought of that fictional fav being railed or doing the railing)—but I do have to raise an eyebrow when he is being stanned for all the wrong reasons (coughfascistallegorycough coughMAGAallegorycough coughSigmamalecough).

It’s a very interesting outlook to have as someone who isn’t as into Homelander as other people but still goes out of my way to read and write stories of him being shipped with his enemy Billy Butcher (listen, I’m your average law-abiding 28 y/o woman who works M-Sat 9AM-5:30PM and sometimes even Sundays and even overtime; sometimes on my limited free time I just wanna indulge and imagine about what it’d take to save the metaphorical world in this fictional universe—aka by having the two toxic old men f*ck each other and they can be two co-dependent psychos in love terrorizing the world together as a shameless power couple in a perpetual Ouroboros cycle of love and hate and self-punishment; obviously I do not condone this kind of relationship irl but within the safety of my imagination, we writers be playing god. It’s fairly obvious both characters are fated to have a bad ending in the show, especially if they follow in the footsteps of comic canon for a bittersweet ending, so let me have fun on my very limited free time writing my alternative Butchlander takes about these manipulative assh0les obsessing over each other and the fate of the world depending on how successful they are at gaslighting each other into playing a permanent happy couple).

22. your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores

Homelander is canonically bi in the comics. No, I’m serious.

(Spoiler alert: for those without context, in the comics, Soldier Boy was not Homelander’s father. In the comics, male Stormfront was one of the Supes whose DNA was reused by Vought to create new and stronger versions of the source material, so his DNA resulted in baby!HL’s creation no, comic HL did not f*ck male Stormfront; in a way, HL is kinda a partial clone of comic!SF. Whereas in the show, Soldier Boy was changed to be a super straight (?) alpha male granny f*cker who was later revealed in the season to be the sperm donor for Homelander. And Stormfront, as we know, was genderswapped in the show and changed to be Homelander’s girlfriend in S3. …There’s no confirmed Sweet Home Alabama vibes yet as of 2023 but there is understandably fan speculation for a reason.)

I believe the best way to put it: Homelander is generally attracted to women, but in later issues he reveals that he has a secret liking to men. Because he’s The Homelander; he can do whatever the f*ck he wants.

And let’s not forget this beautiful iconic scene the TV adaptation gifted to us:

Now some personal opinion time: I also like the idea of him being a narcissist so he only truly loves himself. And others can come close (especially if he sees aspects of himself in them) but his One True Love will always be himself. It’s the classic Narcissus looking at his mirror reflection allegory—but now you mix it in with some complicated cocktail of a God complex, inferiority complex, imposter syndrome, self-hatred, and sociopathy or psychopathy and a hidden desire of wanting to fit in with the banal societal human norms of being accepted but always feeling left out on the other side of the glass wall looking in. Now you tie it in with him never finding anyone who’s “genuinely loved him” (by his own criteria) and has not regarded him as a monster to be feared. He’s desperate for that human connection, for that elusive “perfect companion” who will understand him and cater to him and put his needs above their own—and to him, finding that proves he’s not a freak of nature. He’s not a monster. He’s not a failed product. He’s not a pathetic excuse of a man that even Soldier Boy didn’t even want as a son. Vogelbaum—and everyone else just doesn’t understand. People love him, right? Vought and Madelyn have indoctrinated him into believing he’s the people’s hero—and how they adore and worship him and want to be him or want to f*ck him. How can he, The Homelander, a superior being with his perfect genetics who’s better, stronger, smarter and more attractive than anyone else (I hope you can tell I’m being heavily sarcastic here), go out on a limb and fail at finding this one intangible thing that ordinary mudpeople or his inferiors can find but he somehow can’t?

24. topic that brings up the most rancid discourse

It’s almost always political discourse particularly from extremely delusional right-wingers people who have terrible media literacy of what they’re watching versus what might be clear-cut to the rest of us—and discourse of whether or not The Boys (TV) is an objectively good show. All of these tend to go hand-in-hand together. I think what those people fail to realize is: the script is written by Eric Kripke, the showrunner behind the first five seasons of Supernatural—and then you have Stephen Fleet, lead VFX supervisor and show producer, who came out at the age of 43 (🏳️‍🌈). They’re adapting it from an edgy, dark, intentionally offensive-just-for-shock-value comic series written by Garth Ennis, the person behind Preacher and even a bit of the Punisher. The eight-volume comic series, which ran from 2006-2012, is full of racist, sexist, misogynistic, and homophobic elements (to be fair, GE wrote this as an intentionally darker satirical take on the superhero culture—and edgy shock factor is a writer’s strategy to make your work stand out). It was meant as a “dark, satirical commentary about the fictional superheroes—and, to an extent, the real life celebrities—we idolize, and how easily people with such power can abuse their responsibility” (source).

With what the TV showrunners had to work with, with the actual source material being a slog kinda to go through (the comics does have its share of good moments admittedly), as a whole I think it’s pretty impressive they’re able to update things to make modern social commentary which are relevant to us today (now, they can be admittedly a bit on the nose about it; one thing that stuck with me till now is how a writer friend I was watching the show with remarked how they’d thought BnHA did the superhero genre commentary much better) and somehow they were able to make a far superior TV adaptation just by paring down and changing a few things from the comics for the better so far (*knocks on wood 3x*). I will however always side-eye anyone who insist the comics is superior than the TV adaptation and loudly proclaim they won’t watch the show because “look how they massacred [insert comic character]” (now, to be fair, normally I would agree with this take but we’ve established The Boys (TV) is a special case; I would also understand if the comics had been the person’s first exposure and, hence, had become their fixation—but considering its intentionally offensive contents I am quietly side-eyeing them from the sidelines and keeping my mouth shut).

What's your opinion on fic writer's who mischaracterize Tyler in their story?

i don't think my opinion on this topic matters anon, cause at the end of the day, fanfiction is something someone wrote in their own spare time to share with the fandom. it isn't a thesis paper subjected to be graded on and i'm literally just some random blog on the internet. do you really think i'm qualified to voice out my personal opinion on something as subjective as 'mischaracterizing a beloved blorbo in a fic'?

how a character is written in a fic isn't something we should criticize the author for, no matter if it's the worst thing you've ever had the misfortune to read with your own two eyes. even if you personally think the characters are written differently or poorly, getting mad about it or even going as far as to anonymously ask a different author for their own opinion regarding said topic isn't how you should go about it. for all you know, this could be the fist fic that author has ever written in their life..

i know it feels good to complain and rant about how an author wrote everything badly, but you have to realize that someone spent their time writing that and it could be something they actually liked. your opinion on the quality of the fic doesn't matter when the fic itself wasn't specifically written to cater to you.

and sure, i could go on and tell you about all the things i don't like reading when it comes to fics about tyler's character and how there are interpretations of him that personally give me the ick, but that isn't really productive of me to do. my answer isn't going to magically make every single fic author write tyler better (or in this case, in a way that i want them to) and again, fics are heartfelt works made by a person who liked the source material enough to create something for it. and i would rather write fics that cater to my taste than get complain about it...

i understand that it can be difficult to see that perspective when you're reading a fic that just writes your fav like they're a completely different character, but your personal opinions about the fic isn't really important bc you weren't the one who wrote it anon. and you have to remember, as the reader, you have the option to keep reading something or not.

if you didn't like how tyler was written in a fic, you have every right to click back and never think about it again. but don't spend the rest of your time stressing about how that author mischaracterized your fav, it isn't healthy and it won't make anyone feel better. it's why i prefer talking about the things that i like in this blog, and writing fics that personally make me happy instead.

and frankly, i just think it's weird to ask another fic author for their opinion on how a character is written as if i would be better when we're all just here to vibe and make silly little fics about our favs... so the next time you don't like how a fic is written, why don't you try writing one that you do like instead of complaining about it to me anonymously but that's just my opinion anon.

Hi, ive been following you for a long while, and my interest in assassins creed has slowly waned (desmond is still a time honored blorbo, mind), but god the minute you said a crossover with my fav game horizon zero dawn, its just fully reignited my interest. Anyways, what ideas do you have for it?

Oh god I’m not going to go into details because I want to finish Horizon Zero Dawn before I write down everything (I am so close to the end)

So Spoiler warnings for HZD but basically you cannot deny that the Humans vs Faro Robots is just the Isu vs Human war 2.0 electric boogaloo

Isu creates humanity as a slave race > gives them too many skills > humanity develops free will > humanity starts a rebellion

Humanity creates robots to do their work > gives them too many skills > robots develop feee will > robots starts a war against humans

The only difference between both is that the Isu / Human war ended because the sun flares fucked up the planet, while the Faro robots actually seem to have succeeded in eliminating humanity (haven’t got to this part yet but it seems like it)

So we know the Isu looked through all the available timelines, we also know that the Isu created something similar to Gaia but they did it to maintain some of their minds alive and to protect the planet.

Now to the crossover part, we know project Zero Dawn took the brightest minds available to work on Gaia and all the other forges, and we know that this included creating artificial intelligences and preserving human DNA, tell me that doesn’t sound like Isu bullshit? Anyways my crossover is obviously centered around Deamond waking up during the events of Aloy, but how did he get there? Originally I was planning to say some isu bullshit with the eye, but after learning about project Zero Dawn I have another idea.

Because what is to say one of those brightest minds isn’t someone that has knowledge about the Isu, someone that has basically gone through something similar in a way, someone that could have also access to Desmond’s DNA.

What if Elijah joined Project Zero Dawn and he slipped into the code a piece of his own work? What if he decided to code into Gaia a backup plan in case their original failed? It's a Time-to-cry-over-pixel Type of Night ouggggggggggggghhh

cause y'know, mods, spawned entity, custom NPC+ and all... it's all fine but deadass nothing really HITS quite like the Original tbh tbh

Whoever got it bad bad for one specific NPC might've experienced/noticed the same thing in some way, it's subtle but explicable 🤏

Cyberpunk's characters are complex- and I'm not talking here about the writing or the personalities- I'm talking about their insides, their files! about the Animations specifically

The facial animation system has multiple facials expressions pools to pick anims from- just like us when we choose which facial expression swap mod we want to use for AMM or Photomode!

However, the BIG difference is that the game is able to layer those animations on top of each others; to add them, to play them at the same time, to control different part of the face with "additional" animations and poses on top of each others

That's something we cannot do with mods; we're stuck with the "base" of those facial animations, the "bare"/"raw" layers

If you ever looked at your fav during a photoshoot and thought they looked a bit... off, OOC, not quite right? Missing that lil something? That's because all of the "main" characters have their own expressions pools, set of facials expressions, anims "layering" and micro-expressions! And we cannot re-create that with mods just yet

Been using some of my vanilla raw-photomode pictures here, from different 'caldos quests to illustrated all of this cause- ghfhghf I always get emotional looking at just how kind and soft and EXPRESSIVE Mitch is, and I can't really re-create that in my pics even if I try hard to mimick it (and it always makes me sad when I think about it too much 🤡)

It's simply not possible with the tools we currently have, and that's why I love going back to the feral state of just staring at the blorbo through the different in game scenes like
