When it's raining, do farm clexa's kids love going outside in their rain jackets and boots and stomping in all the puddles and mud?
Oh, no doubt about it!
During the rainy season, rain jackets and mudboots live permanently by the kitchen door. Both Lexa and Clarke played a lot in the rain as kids. Clarke less so because Abby didn't want her to get sick, but Lexa could be found stumping on puddles all afternon as she followed her parents around their small farm.
Now, it is one of their favorite things to do with the kids. Clarke loves to stomp in the puddles with them, watching her babies giggle as mama makes more splashes them all of them.
Madi, with her hood down, will look like a little wet rat, hair stuck to her face as she tries her best to make the biggest splashes she can. Saige looks so cute with her raincoat all fastened up, happy to just look at the water droplets on the leaves. The twins are, of course, already a muddy mess, worms and snails in their hands as they try to keep them away from the small water streams the rain creates. Little Aden on Lexa's hip as he giggles, water falling on his face.
They'll run after each other, the twins terrorizing Saige with muddy hands, Madi running after the twins, and Aden just waddles around, trying to follow his siblings.
The kitchen floor will be a mess of towels and muddy footprints, their one hair drier passed around as they get the kids dry, tea and hot cocoa passed around while Lexa and Clarke pat them dry and once the kids are all on the couch snug and dry, Lexa will sit behind Clarke and dry her hair, now just a damp mess.
Are there times when the kids end up sick? Yeah, there is a runny nose here and there. Does that mean the memories they make playing in the rain are any less wonderful? Not at all.

Yes, trans men and mascs have historically been subjected to less public violence and ridicule than trans women and fems. Is having privilege really the only reason you can think of for that? Have you considered that they had less ability to be publicly visible in the first place? Please remember that the lack of autonomy women have historically been granted also applies to transmascs. They would have been considered the property of men. Spousal rape wasn't illegal everywhere in my country until 1993. How easy do you think it would be for forcibly impregnated transmascs to transition? For abused transmascs in general? Do you think they were all even allowed out of the house often without a man? There are so many stories of transmascs being forcibly institutionalized for being trans. Is that situation and otherwise being quietly abused and erased really so much better than hypervisibility?
